Members Reviews: Move Over Coffee, Hello GREAT Book This morning I was sitting wondering if I wanted to work fron home or go to the store, but something reminded me of this book that had recently been released. I searched Amazon and found it. I purchased the EBook and peeked in just to browse. Browsing turned to reading and soon it was beyond coffee time. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment I sat and read this book. It was written well and the editor(s) did a great job proofing. It was extremely pleasing to hear the natural voices of these young authors. I am happy that these young ladies write so eloquently. This book should be on every summer reading lists for youth, parents, and people working with children. I am pleased to see a family work together to produce a great work of art. The comedy throughout made the book a page-turner. Overall, this book is worth every penny and more. I wish this family all the success in the world. I Enjoyed It!! I loved the book, ladies!! The struggles that you all discussed remind me of how I used to think as a child...Oh the memories!! The book had me laughing throughout...LOL. I loved how Mom set things straight in the end. This is a GrEaT read for youth, youth groups and even adults who work with and/or have youth. Discussion questions are included in the end. Best wishes with your future endeavors!! Purchase your copy today!! :) This book is worth the purchase! Great read! Great content! 5 stars! I love this struggle!!!! I would like to first say that I am very excited to see sisters bond through this particular experience. They agreed and were able to express themselves freely without an adult completely changing what they felt. I appreciate that honesty with this book. The arrangement I believed was perfect. I loved how the older sister leaded and it trickled down to the youngest and it started over again. I love that mom had a chance to give her side of the story too. Shelia, I instantly connected with her in the beginning because like her I am clumsy and Iâm always falling and maybe in the way. I laughed when that incident with the ball hit her because that is so like me to not be paying attention and that happens.

Title: Malachi and the Ghost Kitten Subtitle: Eve and Malachi, Book 2 Author: Abigail Hilton Narrator: Rish Outfield Format: Unabridged Length: 48 mins Language: English Release date: 04-06-17 Publisher: Pavonine Books Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 3 votes Genres: Kids, Ages 5-7 Publisher's Summary: Malachi has the most wonderful adopted family in the world. They love him and tell him stories and bring him food. The problem: Malachi is a boa constrictor and his adopted family are a colony of rats. His particular friend is a young rat named Eve, who does her best to steal tasty treats for Malachi from the farm house. However, the treats seem to be making Malachi sick, and he is growing dangerously hungry. One day, an old enemy comes to visit. She offers a solution to their problem in exchange for a favor. Animals from the neighborhood have been disappearing into a house down the street, and she wants Malachi and Eve to investigate. The local cats say the house is haunted. The Eve and Malachi series are short chapter books for children and their parents who enjoy creepy stories with a (mostly) happy ending. Members Reviews: These are excellent children's books These are excellent children's books! In this book, Abby takes us on a spooky adventure that teaches a valuable lesson to young readers about working together with your peers to do the right thing in spite of your differences. Bravo! This one pulls in a nice supernatural element A lovely 2nd adventure for Malachi and Eve. This one pulls in a nice supernatural element. It's slightly darker than the first one, but just in a ghost story type of way. Would be great for a more mature child, I feel. A wonderful sequel to Feeding Malachi This was given an amazon 2014 children's book of the year award for a reason. The continuing story of Eve (a rat) and Malachi (a boa constrictor) who along with Eve's family have now made it to the outside. An unlikely pair of friends team up with an even more unlikely third friend (a cat) to go on a dangerous and harrowing adventure. This is not your typical children's book and that makes it wonderful. I'd consider it a horror story for children. But one that explores unlikely relationships and the battle of good over evil. Whether they are reading it themselves or you are reading it to them this will keep you child engaged and on the edge of their seat from beginning to end, and it will leave them waiting for the next book to come in this wonderful series. Great read Malachi (boa constrictor) and Eve (rat) live together in the blackberry bushes with Eve's family. Malachi hasn't eaten in months and he realizes he will have to leave the rats' nest soon to live on his own so he can hunt. Effy (cat) arrives to give Malachi a solution to his food dilemma in exchange for help. He and Eve along with Effy will go to where a ghost kitten appears and try to solve its mystery. The book is a chapter book with wonderful illustrations that are at the first of each chapter. It's a clever book that is geared for younger readers. I really enjoyed reading it. Children's horror has never been so cute! The sequel to "Feeding Malachi" is delightfully creepy, and hooked me just as much as it would a younger reader. The illustrations are beautiful, and complement the story. I read this book first in the Eve and Malachi series, and appreciated its self-contained story. It works as a stand alone, (although why anyone would want to only read the one is a mystery) and is an excellent sequel that carries itself with the same energy and fast pace as the first book.

Title: An Oil Merchant's Plea Author: Ishita Garg Narrator: John Hawkes Format: Unabridged Length: 1 min Language: English Release date: 02-24-17 Publisher: Ishita Garg Genres: Kids, Ages 5-7 Publisher's Summary: This story is a gem representing the delightful stories from the Indian subcontinent that capture the simple essence of everyday life in rural and urban India. The simple pleasures of life indicate a time gone by before the advent of cellphones and Facebook, a time which almost stood still, a time where children could revel in the rain, make paper boats and race them down a drain, play marbles, and generally pass time. The once idyllic life almost seems too slow and bear and hence is fascinating to watch unfurl as we listen to the story.
