I mean, they tell you when dogs eat grass, it means their tummies hurt. So remember, have the conversation. How do I respond to my daughter about this? Well, I would ask her what, symbolically, it meant to her. The first thing that came into my mind was that this was not a pleasant divorce. Not that many of them are, but that maybe she even had to take a side. And maybe the side she took was yours. And persistently angry and judgmental, critical of dad. Assuming it was her dad or just a stepdad. I don't know. So if she feels you're wearing something from him, it might at 20, make her feel a little bit like, gee, I was on your side and you just, you know, and I helped you through it and I was there for all your upsettedness and you're wearing his diamonds. I don't know. But ask her what it means to her because tell her what it means to you is that it is very hardened carbon and it's pretty. And if she'd like you to will them to her, you will try.
