I don't have any brilliant opening today. It's been a very busy, busy, busy, busy unusual morning. Last night I slept in my house for the last time ever because now it's all stripped and being staged. That's where they take your perfectly nice furniture, haul it out and put in stuff that's bland and neutral so that everybody walking in doesn't really see the furniture, they see the house and the views, which for my house are amazing. And that's a small word for how good it is. So trying to coordinate this going on sale with downsizing. When I say downsizing, I mean downsizing. It's a cute little house and as of two hours ago, hour and a half finished all the escrow, which is enough to make you insane. If I wasn't nuts before, I'm really on the edge now because every three hours there was a problem.

Where's that piece of paper?
Dr. Laura
Oh, you have to do that. You have to pay for that. Oh, they said it was. I am the queen of Docusigns. I Docusigned so many things I thought I was going to lose my mind. So it's done, it's posted, done, done, done, da done. And I'm very pleased. So I am going to be making the. I bought all the beddings on Sunday from Pottery Barn. That's a very good store and not ridiculous prices. A very, very good store. Nice things and got all the fixings for all three beds. Two guest rooms in my room and they're all different and had all my friends helping put this pillow on there. Okay, okay. That pillow. It's fine. So I'm pretty excited. So tonight is going to be the first night I sleep in my own new little house. And I have 170 pomegranate trees. And the way that's done is somebody comes and takes care of them and then they take the pomegranates and they bring them to food places for people who can afford Gelson's, you know, and I don't know if they give them away or sell them very, I don't know. But it's all taken care of, which is nice because I don't think I could have handled 170 of any kind of tree. So it's historical that it's been taken care of since, I don't know, 2003, which I think is awfully nice. And then there are two huge boxes of bees and this guy comes and

see where I live.
Dr. Laura
It's like this kind of life like you see in movies. It's like European almost. So he comes and takes care of the bees and takes out the honey. And in both cases with the pomegranates and the honey, I get some. So I'm going to get some native honey. I'm going to use a lot of that because I understand that helps you with allergies, your local allergies. So that's a good idea.

So that's my news.
Dr. Laura
First night in my new house. Don't ask where I have been for the last month. I've been in odd and sundry places. I was living in the gym, then I was living in one room in the house. And then they said, oh, we got

to take stuff out.
Dr. Laura
So they took the bed out and put the mattress on the floor and I went, I draw the line with mattress on the floor. Ha.

dope and living on the floor. No, they put the bed back in. And last night at a hotel, cute little tiny hotel in the neighborhood and tonight in my new house. So I'm finally going to be squared away. It has been stressful off any chart,

but all I can tell you folks
Dr. Laura
is when things are grossly stressful, at some point it's over. Whichever way it goes in, it's over. You have to keep remembering this is not forever. Like when I first brought my son home and in the hospital, when you give birth, you know, they bring you the kid, you breastfeed, they bring the kid back, they and it's. You think, God, this is easy. And you bring the kid home and they do nothing but scream, okay. And my husband, who has since passed, said at the time, this will not last forever. Which is where I got the joke that I tell on air. No, it doesn't. Then they turn into teenagers and you wish you could put them in a bassinet and rock it. So that's my news. So let us spend today and tomorrow dealing with whatever's causing you stress.
