So even if you don't get moment to moment feedback in the world, know that you've impacted somebody. For example, you're driving on the freeway and you let somebody in your lane. You could speed up and cut them off, but maybe they really need to get in that lane in order to go wherever they're going. Like when we're at those on the freeway, these three lanes do this, this two lane does that, you know, and people get caught sort of, oh my God, I have to shift over. It's happened to me. I'm sure it's happened to you. And let's just say you let somebody in without fighting them for the space and they feel, oh, that was nice. And now they're feeling more benevolent and so it goes. So let me start with the email of the day because it falls into this category and I certainly had no direct intention. I was just sharing. So this email of the day is Many years ago my husband was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. While we feel blessed that it's been slow to progress, it has totally altered the way he lives his life. I happen to be listening to you during your Lego phase. Now. Let me explain what my Lego phase was. About 10 years ago when I was widowed, I went into sort of a tough space and I kept working, did my job well. Nonetheless, when I turned off the microphone and I was home alone, I was kind of mopey and feeling kind of lost. Used to 30 years of somebody in the house. So somebody bought me a one of Those really small, you put them together in five minutes. Lego sets of a catamaran, a sailboat with kind of two skinny hulls. Put it together instantaneously and didn't think a lot of was just cute. And I put it on the shelf and I was still feeling down, sort of sucker punched in the tummy kind of thing. And then somebody saw it and they brought me another set. And I don't remember what the other set was, but it was also relatively small. So then I went on the net and looked up Legos and I thought, oh my gosh. And that started. Had to be more than a year. I built every one of the most complex sets and it would keep me up till 1:00 clock in the morning. Becomes an addiction. I'll just do four more pages. I'll just go take until I opened the next bag. And I made things. Unbelievable roller coasters, huge roller coaster. A whole city. And when I couldn't find all the towns, all the town businesses, I went on ebay because a lot of the town businesses weren't made anymore. But I wanted the whole town. That's me. So I went on ebay and I bought them. And then I did the carousel. That was probably one of the hardest things.

And for over a year, every day, I should say night, I worked on the Legos, and I had an entire huge room filled with these sets. I did all the Christmas village stuff. I just became a maniac. Eventually donated everything to a children's museum called, wow. Wonders of the World, I think Kids Museum. So they have all of it now. And I donated was just like, one day I finished a project, and when I went to open yet another box to start something else, I went, I'm done. I'm done. I loved it. Very creative. It was very sad when I went through a whole thing and I realized I made a mistake and I have to take things apart. But I did. And that was good training, too. Take it apart. Figure out where you messed up and how to repair it. But one day, the therapy that it did for me was done. I was done. I could do all kinds of things again, but it was wonderful distraction. That was creative and productive. So I got this letter. I happened to be listening to you during your LEGO phase, and I was struck by how much you looked forward to your next big build. Remember, her husband has Ms. It gave me the idea to buy a set for my husband for Christmas that year. It was the Arc de Triomphe, and he whipped through that quickly. He immediately went out and got the London bus, which was definitely a bigger challenge. And that began his love of Legos. My husband now has a whole LEGO room that is overflowing with the many things he's made over the years. Kids and adults alike marvel at what he has done. He was a builder by trade, so this turns out to have been a perfect hobby. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing all the amazing hobbies that you challenge yourself with. You really do inspire in so many ways. Take care. Thanks for keeping us centered in life, Elizabeth. So I was very appreciative to read that this morning and I started teaching classes in a local craft store, gallery of UV resin jewelry and now weaving on a rigid heddle. So all the things that I have used over the years to be challenged and creative, I'm now teaching to other people who can be challenged and creative and it's blossoming in this new way. I never taught this. Oh yeah, I taught electric electronic knitting machines. I did that at UCLA for a while. I liked that too. But the kind of machine I use, they don't build anymore. So I don't know how I can teach that class. So that's what I have to say. It was great therapy. Yes, I'm sorry. World of Wonders Science museum in Lodi, California www.wowsciencemuseum.org if you want to see my stuff or go travel there and see it all. Very proud of it. I can't believe how many pieces there were. I mean, this filled a huge room, floor and tables. All righty, let's get on to helping you in a different way.
