This week on Extra Dirty, Hallie is joined by her younger brother Chad for a chaotic, heartfelt, and hilarious sibling episode. The two dive into childhood memories including evil babysitters and basement party scandals, all ending in a BONE CHILLING text from their parents. They unpack their shared talent for reckless decision making and reflect on unhinged Batchelder holiday stories that involve boyfriends, near-fights, and a very dramatic Thanksgiving. Chad opens up about insecurities, growing pains, and what it’s like being Hallie’s brother in the age of content. Lastly, Hallie asks Chad what kind of man she should end up with... and you'll want to stick around to hear his answer. It's Extra Brotherly! Follow @extradirty on socials to keep up with Hallie and if you love what you hear, leave a review and subscribe to keep the chaos coming.

Chad
Said, not H. Well, I think he knows, like, if I don't have Uber eats, I might, like, die.
Halle
Like, you'd vanish. What up, you little freaks? Oh, you guys, I'm doing something really stupid right now. We have an emergency debrief situation. Hi, this is H from the streets of New York. Guys, I had every intention of staying in last night. Oh, my God. Hi, guys. Welcome back to Extra Dirty. We have a very, very special guest today. My other brother, Chad.
Chad
Welcome on what's going on?
Halle
How we doing? We've had Sammy on, which is my youngest brother. I feel like that was a bit more of, like, a serious episode. I feel like Chad, me and him are both like the middle children. I feel like we're the funnier ones.
Chad
We'll just say we trade off our shit shows for sure.
Halle
No, we're chaotic. Like, if you look good, then I look bad. If I look bad, then you look good. Like, we're always hoping someone else looks, like, worse.
Chad
So capitalize on each other is low points.
Halle
Yeah. I mean, is that how we're starting? Yeah. I was like, yeah. Have you ever listened to, like, any of these episodes?
Chad
It's, it's, you know, a little tough as your brother to listen to all the episodes, but, like, the one with, like, Sammy on it, obviously I wanted to check out.
Halle
I was just Gonna say, I hope you don't listen to any of them.
Chad
Yeah. But I obviously respect what you're doing here.
Halle
Do you?
Chad
Yeah. Money's money, baby.
Halle
Oh, that's what dad says. And I'm like, that's kind of weird.
Chad
Cheers, by the way. Thanks for having me.
Halle
Thanks for coming on. This will be a fun episode. I feel like we have absolutely so much to catch up on.
Chad
We?
Halle
We're the middle kid. So I'm one of four. I don't know. I don't think I've ever said that. So it goes Bryn, me, Chad, Sammy. And we're the middle ones.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
How do you feel about being a middle child?
Chad
I think we rock.
Halle
Do you think we're the favorites?
Chad
I wouldn't say all that, but I do think they love us for our personalities and our.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
Outgoingness.
Halle
There was this, like, one story of us growing up like that I always think of when I'm explaining, like, what kind of character you are in. Like, the chaos that just ensued in our household. So we used to grow up going to Lake Centipe and we'd ski. And honestly, some of the best memories. I still wish we were family. Like, what the happened?
Chad
I don't know.
Halle
Can we go to Aspen?
Chad
I don't know.
Halle
Bring it up with dad. Yeah, no, it's just maybe not.
Chad
You might be paying for that trip.
Halle
No, low key. I got Airbnb credits.
Chad
Yeah, you might need to help dad out with that one.
Halle
No, yeah, I'll get Dad on that. The front half. But anyways, we used to grow up going skiing. Lake. Son of Me. Some of the best times. We're obviously really young. My parents had.
Chad
It was before we were all like, drinking and stuff.
Halle
Yeah, we were like six.
Chad
But seven.
Halle
Seven. Obviously things changed. So, like, my mom had four of us under the age of six. We're all very close in age. Like, I'm 27, Chad's 25, and we're like, you know, Libras. Libra gang.
Chad
Gang, whatever.
Halle
So my mom would need babysitters, obviously, to take like a little weight off. They could go out to dinner and have a good time, but they would always hire the most janky ass, random New Hampshire ass bitch babysitters.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
No offense to New Hampshire, but like, the. I don't know where they looked. Craigslist maybe.
Chad
I have no idea.
Halle
It was a little suspect and sketch.
Chad
I'd love to know, though, because some characters came through the house.
Halle
So there was this one, her name was Tara. And I hope she's watching this now, because you're a weird creep. How do you know her name Tara? Because she's ingrained in my memory, bro. Ingrained. She came in, was really into gospel music, which respect. And so they left to go out to dinner and have, like, a romantic date night. My parents and, like, left us with the four of us. And usually we would just, like, watch Pirates of the Caribbean in the basement, but this. She did not want us to have fun.
Chad
No.
Halle
And you guys were bouncing off the walls. How old were you? Like, six years old?
Chad
Like, yeah, I was probably six. Sam was four.
Halle
And there was this loft. You tell the story.
Chad
Yeah, yeah. So this, like, crazy lady comes to babysit us, and she, like, sends us all up to our rooms. Make sure she has control under control.
Halle
She just wanted to listen to gospel.
Chad
Yeah, yeah. So we hear her, like, listening to gospel and. And no.
Halle
Remember she put you in the loft and took the ladder away.
Chad
Yeah, yeah. So me and my younger brother were the two youngest, so she wanted. And we were, like, just out of control, obviously, like the two boys of the family, like you said, bouncing off the walls. And she comes in and, like, locks. Puts me and Sam up in a loft and takes the ladder away.
Halle
So it would be like a ten foot drop.
Chad
So it was like a ten.
Halle
So dangerous.
Chad
Yeah, yeah. Like, looking back, it's like, all right, like, let's fight. But, like, now it's like, we did it. We handled it the right way. So we were like, okay, we need to take a piss. And she wouldn't let us get down to go to the bathroom.
Halle
She sent up a bucket.
Chad
And so she sent up a bucket and we were like, oh, word. Like, let's do this thing. So me and Sam piss in this bucket, and we're like, hey, Tara, like, we're. We're done now. Can you come get the bucket? She comes over all over her head, dude. And it was honestly, like, one of my prouder moments, dude.
Halle
Honestly. She deserved it.
Chad
Oh, she deserved every part of that.
Halle
She was, like, horrified, and she.
Chad
So she would, like, treat us poorly so we would, like, come back at her. Like, she would be downstairs, listen to her little gospel music, and we'd come down, like, sneakily. We'd go into, like, outside. Yeah, yeah. We go in, like, the pots and pans drawer, grab some pans, and she's like, ah.
Halle
We put her through hell.
Chad
Oh, my gosh. She deserved.
Halle
The only babysitter I think I've ever liked is Carmina.
Chad
Carmine is the go.
Halle
Carina's family. She's Goaded. She's family.
Chad
Carmina, if you're watching this, I love you. I might need a bath later.
Halle
So that's crazy to say.
Chad
Okay, my bad.
Halle
Take that back. Like, Sammy might say that.
Chad
Yeah, I love Carmina. She does everything.
Halle
Sammy's like, Sammy was a Spanish major. I think partly because of Carmina's influence. Yeah, she like, was our second mom.
Chad
No, def. She. She raised us in a good.
Halle
In a way, yes, her. Okay, you guys, this episode is brought to you by Zoc Talk. I don't know about you guys, but my entire social bead is filled with different health trends. Chad
I don't know, like, it's so tough to say because, like, when we were younger, it Felt like the end of the world whenever we up, but now it's, like, actually the end of the world when we fuck up. So I think. I think now is a little more difficult.
Halle
No. Like, mom always says, like, kids problems, but, like, adults adult problems. Like, I feel like the problems get.
Chad
Like, as an adult, they become more intense.
Halle
They can become more intense, and they.
Chad
Like, more of an impact.
Halle
Yeah. Sometimes I still think I'm a kid. Like, I still think that I'm 17.
Chad
Oh, no. I will tell people I'm 17.
Halle
Hi, I'm 17.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
No, literally, I, like, still sleep, like, especially in Nantucket in the summer. I feel like I'm literally gonna rip nobody here for the fourth and, like, go the chicken box and see, when.
Chad
We were 17 and we did that, it was such, like, it was cute almost. Yeah.
Halle
They were like. Yeah. Now they're like. Now they look at us with disgust, like, getting.
Chad
I would get arrested on the fourth on nobody or beach. And now if I did that, it'd be the end of my life.
Halle
Yeah. Yeah. But let's talk about that for a second. Chad used to go, so nobody here is, like, one of the most popular beaches. Honestly, I feel like you're one of the reasons that it got shut down. Like, you would get arrested every year.
Chad
I. I played my part.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
I played my part.
Halle
So Chad would just, like, be thrown in the drunk tank or for underage drinking. How many times have you seen the inside of the Nantucket police station?
Chad
Only three, but, like, freeze my lucky number. So I had to.
Halle
I, like, shockingly, have never been in there.
Chad
Really?
Halle
Remember when Bogger's mom accidentally hit mom's car parked in the street? And they, like, they had you on speed down. They're like, yo, Chad, I think your mom's car got hit.
Chad
They had my number for some reason. Like, it's my dad's car that got smashed up. They just called me. Yeah. They go, wait, Chad, I think, like, who is this? What did I do?
Halle
They had your number, like, on the wall. Yeah. And I remember going to the scene of the crime when that happened, and I just wanted to get involved and, like, put my head in it.
Chad
And you're like.
Halle
And they were like, we'll arrest you right now. And I was like, yeah, don't do that.
Chad
Oh, my gosh. Always something.
Halle
They're always something with us, by the way.
Chad
Sick outfit.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
Wait, the Subi jeans.
Halle
Subi jeans. We got a vintage jacket.
Chad
You look like you're.
Halle
I'm ready to rock.
Chad
Ready to rock. Daytona 500 style.
Halle
People keep thinking these are Mew Mew and they're not, but I'm, like, saying they are.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
Do you know what Mew Mew is?
Chad
I just know the bags.
Halle
What are your favorite fashion brands?
Chad
That's a good question. I feel like I, like. I'm a big mix of, like, super classy and super street wear. So, like, I don't know. I like a lot of Rag and.
Halle
Bone, you know, a lot of Ragamonia. But I feel like you like K Subi as well. And, like, what's the other brand?
Chad
Stone Island.
Halle
Stone Island?
Chad
Yeah. I rock a lot of Stone Island.
Halle
We drop bands there once.
Chad
A lot of Gucci.
Halle
Yeah, a lot of Gucci. Like, a lot of product.
Chad
It's so. Yeah, it's good stuff. No, but I like whatever looks good.
Halle
Yeah. How did you get in real estate?
Chad
Well, Dad's been in real estate, so, I mean, I kind of saw it as, like, a little bit of a, you know, an opportunity to kind of learn about it myself. And granted, I didn't really go through dad to get my job, but I think definitely, like, down the road, I picture me and him doing business together.
Halle
Yeah. I mean, I always say this to you because me and Chad are just, like, so much alike in so many ways. Whether it's chaos or not, we share a lot of similarities, and I feel like we used to get along the best, and we still do get along the best. Obviously, we have our moments, but you could do content. I think you could do this. You could sit down every week and do something like this.
Chad
I think about a lot, like, so many things that I could be doing. And I, like, always have this, like, level of creativity that I think is only right to, you know, apply to my work life.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
Content's obviously the one way to do that these days.
Halle
And I think you had that one vlog where you're, like. Your intro was, like, kicking the bag, and then it was just like kind of like a work life, but also like a swag.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
Life flow.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
And I feel like.
Chad
No. Yeah. I want people to, like, know me as, you know, a guy who can light up the room, but also take me seriously. Here.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
We'll you up.
Halle
You're definitely the funniest in the family.
Chad
I appreciate that.
Halle
Oh, I think I'm funny sometimes.
Chad
You're hilarious. You're hilarious.
Halle
You're, like, sneaky.
Chad
Your delivery is spot on.
Halle
I have good, like, comedic timing.
Chad
Absolutely.
Halle
Yeah. Yeah, right?
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
You're just, like, outwardly funny.
Chad
Yeah. Well, I'm just creative, so, like.
Halle
Oh, you got. Yeah.
Chad
On the spot.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
Who's. Yeah. I think dad's funny, too.
Chad
That's hilarious. I think we get it from dad.
Halle
Probably.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
And also Sammy's loki. Sneaky funny too.
Chad
Seems hilarious. Yeah.
Halle
Like, if I were to pick a sibling to like, go out party with, like, have a three day bender with, it'd probably be. You and Sammy would be judging us for it.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
I mean, we've done that many times before, so.
Halle
Yeah. So I was like, saying how, like, Sammy's, like, always been like, the goody two shoes. Like, he's always. He's the fourth child, he's the baby, he's the favor. He's like, whatever. He's a perfect child in a lot of ways. But, like, growing up, like, it was just me and Chad against the world. It felt like we would be the. Because my older sister wasn't really a big partier.
Chad
She's always been like the mother figure.
Halle
She's. Yeah. She's the oldest and she's a girl. And she just always was like, kind of locked in and kind of just like, not a big drinker. Didn't really do any drugs.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
Didn't, like, have fun. Wait, no, I'm just kidding. But, like, she just, like, was always, like, kind of not doing that. I think she took her first sip of alcohol when she was, like, 17.
Chad
Oh, I thought you were going to say recently. I was like, damn, she broke sobriety.
Halle
We got to check on her.
Chad
I didn't hear about that.
Halle
But, like, me and Chad. So our house in Boston, which you'd think, like, why are you throwing house parties in Boston? But it was almost like one. Our parents, like, were. They were okay with it. We had cool, like, party parents.
Chad
They. They would. Well, they weren't really okay with it until, like, maybe our. Like your senior year in high school.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
But like, when we would throw down, it would just be like when they're in Paris or when they're like, away for the weekend.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
And they would come back to like, something broken, something. Yeah. Speakers blown out, bleach on their carpet.
Halle
Dude, do you remember when you told that story before?
Chad
Yeah, that's a funny.
Halle
I was just gonna say, do you remember when the. I was like, trying to do a nice thing, too. It was like her birthday pregame and she invited all her friends and I was like, holy.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
And I feel so bad because the girl, like, obviously, like, we're hiding from the cops, which is why people ended up on, like, the third story. Yeah, but who bleached the carpet is my question. Who thought that was a good idea?
Chad
I. I think I know who, but I'm not going to.
Halle
You know what's funny about that story is, like, they threw up on the other carpet in the second living room.
Chad
Really?
Halle
Yeah. But it was just cleaned up properly.
Chad
They were just hitting all the carpets.
Halle
They were just hitting all the carpets.
Chad
Not only was it the carpet, it was like this nice velvet couch in my mom and dad's room. And then the carpet was, like, some material that wasn't just carpet.
Halle
It was, like a nun's hair.
Chad
Oh, my gosh. And I just remember it was like Father's Day and we got the nastiest text, and we were all just like, dude, curled up in a ball in our rooms waiting for him to come home. Second he came home, Fucking bomb went off.
Halle
No, Remember I went to Nantucket.
Chad
Yeah. Yeah.
Halle
I made, like, the worst call of the century.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
So we had this pregame on, like, what, Thursday?
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
And I was like, shit's gonna, like, go fucking down. We were like, we need to hire professional cleaners. We need to, like, check all the boxes. And I kind of just like, left the next morning with Margot, my roommate from college, and just, like, left you guys at the mess. And I was just like, I can't deal with this. Sammy's like, rage texting me, being like, you're a cunt ass sister. I hate you, blah, blah, blah, blah. We have to tell mom and dad. And I was like, okay, well, they're eventually gonna find out, but I'd rather be, like, on Nantucket.
Chad
Dude, that's.
Halle
So dad called me after I got back, after he walked in, because he was away in Miami, I think.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
And he walked in after he saw the actual mess that was made and everything was broken and, like, the cost of the damage.
Chad
I wish I could pull up that text because I know it's somewhere.
Halle
No, we need to find the fucking tax and clip it. I know, but it was the nasty I thought I was getting. I signed up for seeking arrangements. Bro. I thought it was cut off.
Chad
It's got to be here somewhere. I know I have it.
Halle
It was like, you. You stupid little.
Chad
Yeah, yeah.
Halle
And then when he called me and he goes, you.
Chad
Yeah, yeah. Screaming like, bro.
Halle
I panning. And I was like, what? That's so weird.
Chad
Oh, here we go. I actually have it right here, dude.
Halle
It's gonna, like, give me ptsd.
Chad
Oh, no, this is crazy. What the. Nice party. I Guess. But of course it's no one's fault. We just ask that you don't throw a party while we're away because your friends have proven to be so disrespectful and you do anyway, swearing we are unreasonable to not trust you. So now you're going to pay to replace a carpet that we have to work our whole lives to be able to afford. Right? That's at least a ten thousand dollar bill, by the way. I hope you guys are proud. Happy Father's Day to a dad who does nothing but give to you guys what you treat him and you treat him this way. I'm disgusted. I'm like, oh, wait, wait, that was mom. That wasn't even dad. This is daddy. This is Daddy. Why do you say daddy? This is Daddy.
Halle
Like, dude, what? No, that's crazy.
Chad
That's like an ego thing.
Halle
Wait, read it. Read that.
Chad
This is Daddy, dude. I'm like, you have to be. Yeah, this is you all to be kidding me. You all continue to use us and steal from us using unauthorized credit card purchases after we have given you everything. The game is over and I'm selling the Jeep and the Evoke at the end of the summer. And you guys can take the bus like the rest of the maggots that that you allow to come into my house and have a free for all you want money for your booze that you use my credit cards for. Go get a job. It's over. Strong letter to follow. And don't think I'm kidding. Hope you're proud of yourselves. Thanks very much.
Halle
Dude. I'm like, re traumatized.
Chad
That was a crazy text.
Halle
That was mean. Kind of.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
I almost want to text him right now and say sorry.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
Remember I wrote him like a 19 page letter with pictures. Yeah.
Chad
Oh, no. The amount of letters I've wrote to mom and dad just being like, hey, sorry, like, slip it under there.
Halle
What was like the worst thing you've ever done that you were like, this is letter worthy. I just feel like you like, have bad luck too.
Chad
I have terrible luck.
Halle
It's a mix of like, bad luck, like, with schools. Like, I feel like I just like, you didn't jive.
Chad
I like to do things that, like, push the limits a little bit.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
But like, I know maybe like, I won't die from this, but I get pretty close.
Halle
Like, like, yeah, like they won't kill you or like the whatever you're doing won't kill you.
Chad
Whatever I'm doing won't kill.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
I could feel that, you know, I mean, like, I know that. Like, I'm aware enough to be like, okay, like, let's calm down a little bit.
Halle
Yeah. But you're also like me, though. Like, you have a little bit of self awareness and you get lots of anxiety over your actions. Like, it's not like you're like going through life being like, oh, like, I think this is really good. Like, I'm making a good decision there. And they're like, you know, when you like, up or like, did something wrong.
Chad
I'm overly self aware about it, you know.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
But like, I'll still do it in the moment.
Halle
Yeah. I don't think about consequences in the moment too. It's almost like I see myself in a third person.
Chad
Yeah. Like, when I have anxiety and I feel like. Yeah. Just like from countless, like, mistakes, like, you build up this anxiety that like, you did something last night that you don't know.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
You know what I mean?
Halle
It's like the worst game.
Chad
And like, you wake up, the world's mad at you and you tell them.
Halle
The thing you have on Nantucket.
Chad
Oh, my gosh. I just like, built up this fear that, like, it's like I wake up after like a night of drinking and like, the world is mad at me and I start to like.
Halle
And you just like, kind of like lift your phone.
Chad
You're like, yeah. And I just like, I kind of use that like a defense mechanism against it. Just like going at people's throats because I think they're mad at me.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
You know what I mean?
Halle
Like, I will say though, like, sometimes on Nantucket, especially, like, when you're like, back living with your parents again and you're. We're under their roof, you know, it's so different now that we know, like, what it feels like to have our own apartments and like, what that freedom feels like. It's like when we're back in, like, the twin bed and like, we're like, back under the roof. I feel like I'm gonna get grounded again.
Chad
They have us on a leash for sure.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
But you know what they do? Like, I was thinking about it today, like, they do welcome a lot of people in our house that, you know, they haven't even met yet. And you know, they. They do everything to, like, make sure we all have a good time, like, buy us dinners and so, yeah, they're the best. They are the best in that aspect.
Halle
But I feel like we also bring around a lot more. Like, as we've gotten older, like, we've Brought around one, like, less people into.
Chad
Yeah, more a more respectful and like.
Halle
People that they know. And mom's always saying, like, you know how mom volunteers with, like, kids in the neighborhood? Like, she like, loves to, like, you know, cater to needs. And like, I feel like she misses the chaos sometimes. I mean, she has four kids and then now she's like, kind of an empty nester besides Sammy. And I feel like she always says, like, she like, loves the chaos sometimes a full house.
Chad
She misses it until it's Thanksgiving and we come home and someone's crying.
Halle
Oh my God.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
Thanksgivings.

Chad
So fun.
Halle
By the way, can we tell the story about that one Thanksgiving? Remember when Auntie what's her face brought around what's his face and he tried to square up with Sammy.
Chad
Oh, yeah, he was like, oh, my God. Yeah, he was this, like, new boyfriend, came in super hot, got hammered, like, started, like, giving Sammy lips. And then I'm like, me and Samuel right there. Like, let's rock this dude.
Halle
Remember that one day that person, like, blew down the door? That dad of someone?
Chad
Yeah. That was like, Sammy and his buddies, like, confronted some kid about, like, talking to one of their girlfriends and he.
Halle
Like, came over to fight Sammy.
Chad
And he came over like, the dad came over to, like, fight Sammy on Thanksgiving. Yes.
Halle
We have, like, Gossip Girl style Thanksgivings where, like, there's at least five people crying.
Chad
It's never ending.
Halle
Glass is getting broken. Someone's trying to fight someone.
Chad
Never ending.
Halle
I kind of enjoy it though.
Chad
It's. It's good entertainment.
Halle
We like.
Chad
Mom doesn't like it's good entertainment when I'm not involved.
Halle
Yeah. Dad doesn't like to have holidays at the Boston house anymore because people spill wine all over the carpet or they're just breaking someone. We have some random boyfriend we've never met from one of my own. Why not? Everyone else is married.
Chad
Yeah. Yeah. No, we like to. We like to have our fun.
Halle
Fun.
Chad
And so does our extended family.
Halle
Yeah. I wish they would come down in Nantucket more. Like those like kind of the best memories.
Chad
Well, they used to, but I feel like they stop.
Halle
Did they? Not with us anymore.
Chad
No. But remember that one summer, like everyone beefed and like bags were getting packed?
Halle
Like, dude, my popcorn was out though. Like, I was entertained.
Chad
It was entertaining.
Halle
Also takes the heat off from us.
Chad
Yes, exactly.
Halle
If we're like going out to like 3:00am Exactly. Also, like, the fact that we still like bring like people back after hours to like our parents basement at the ripe age of like 25 and 27 is crazy.
Chad
Absolutely. But you know what? It's like, at least we have someone back.
Halle
Get our bigger. Get our bigger house.
Chad
Exactly.
Halle
Oh, yeah, that basement. Seen some. Remember that one time we were back and he was wheeling Margot on the love sack?
Chad
Yeah. That love sack had so many stains on it that it was like flammable. Like a whole like village of people.
Halle
You could like make a child throwing that love sack at someone's head.
Chad
You do not want to put a blue light to that.
Halle
But oh my God, it would look like Mercury.
Chad
Milky Way around it.
Halle
Wait, we're crushing it right now.
Chad
Are we drinking too fast?
Halle
No, we're being hilarious.
Chad
Really. I was like, what if I say some stupid.
Halle
No, dude, Loki. For my first 10 episodes, I was drinking heavily before every single one.
Chad
Really?
Halle
And I'm like, still kind of scared up. Yes. On. Because I'm like, what if we have like an awkward moment where I'm like, so how.
Chad
How is it for you? Where like, because obviously you have to be like 100 on a hundred percent of the time.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
How like when you wake up hungover one day and whether you're shooting your podcast or like a fan's coming to take a picture with you, I will say, like, does that suck?
Halle
I love when people come up to me and say hi.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
But when I'm hungover, I'm like, shaky.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
And I literally can't talk. Like I like or I'm saying the crazy. I'm thinking about what's coming out of my mouth, and they'll be like, let's take a picture. And I'm like, yeah, I'm choking also. I don't look chic.
Chad
Or when you're out and you're drunk, people still want to take pictures.
Halle
I know, but I always say yes. And I love that because you're really.
Chad
Good at saying, like.
Halle
Because these people gave me a career, you know? Like, I, like, love the support in the community I built, and, like, that means a lot to me. I'll never say no to that, but I will just say it's, like, not as, like, fun of a moment when I'm super hungover or like. Like, there was this one time where I was, like, super hungover. Hopping onto a ferry.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
And I was like this. And, like, people were, like, pulling me in the ferry line and, like, creating traffic, and I was just like, yeah. I, like. Like, almost like, lost my feeling in my legs.
Chad
How about those little girls coming up to you at Sandbar the other day with braces on? Like, oh, I love your show.
Halle
Like, that was crazy.
Chad
These girls had braces and they were nine years old. I was like, what? Like, what do you love about this show?
Halle
Like, yeah, I didn't want to ask. I was like, where's your mom?
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
Like, where's your babysitter?
Chad
Yeah. 12, and I'm ready to get cream pied.
Halle
Yeah. They're like nine year olds being like, I had my first anal experience because of you. I'm like, wait, babe, What? Where's your mom? Yeah, like, crazy.
Chad
Crazy.
Halle
Why do you have tick tock? You're not old enough.
Chad
No, but that's awesome. Like, you're. You're hitting all the age groups.
Halle
I know. Do people ever come up to you, say, hi, you're Chad?
Chad
It's funny because, like, people will come up to me just like, oh, you're Halle's brother. I'm like, well, I'm way more than that.
Halle
You say that. You started saying that.
Chad
No, but, like, obviously I eat it up. And they're like, let's take a picture.
Halle
Will you take selfies of people?
Chad
Oh, my God. It'll be like, I was in. We were in Vegas in the elevator. I was alone, and, like, this girl was like, behind me. She's like, chad. I was like, the. Like, in Vegas twice. Yeah. And she was like, oh, my God. Like, I love your family. Like, can we please get a picture?
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
I'm like, yeah. Like, it's like her boyfriend taking the picture. Like oh, that's probably okay back there.
Halle
In Vegas too.
Chad
Shaking.
Halle
Yeah. He's like, dude, people come up to Sammy. Like he came.
Chad
Sammy gets a lot now.
Halle
Yeah, well because Sammy's like posted now. He's like hitting fyp, which I always say, like if you just posted more consistently.
Chad
Yeah, yeah.
Halle
Like how all your, all your videos have over 100,000 views.
Chad
So my thing is like I love to post consistently but like me and you've talked about, I feel like I don't have like a specific vibe or theme that I would, you know.
Halle
But that's the issue with posting and that's what I think why a lot of people don't post is cuz they feel like they have to fill a certain niche or a certain vibe. When I came on and started posting on social media, I was like, my vibe is going to be like my private story myself without like getting canceled of course.
Chad
But like so like when you started, like when you made that transition from going to like making like funny tick tocks to like talking, would you have to like legit practice in the mirror or like.
Halle
I mean I look back on my old videos, I just like literally wasn't doing anything. I like was super lost. I was 25. Being still a hostess, that crew. No idea. I had a classics major. Like I talked about about this in one of my last episodes too. I was like I did not know what I wanted to do. And honestly Covid kind of gave me some leeway to figure that out. And I kept seeing people online like doing the whole like thirst trappy thing and like tick tock was really popping off. But I wasn't seeing a bunch of like you know, people talking to the camera and like personalities and like keeping it raw, real and authentic. People were acting like they don't get hungover. Like that's never been a thing.
Chad
People were acting like they, they film their good side.
Halle
Yeah. I mean, you know the saying like social media is like a highlight reel.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
I feel like it should also be like a low light reel and like room to grow, you know.
Chad
Which is why people who like you, who will post literally their everyday life.
Halle
People know everything about me.
Chad
Yeah. Like you're an open book and I think like people like resonate with that way more rather than like a day in the life.
Halle
I just think in today's age people like appreciate authenticity more.
Chad
Absolutely.
Halle
Even if it's like good, bad and the ugly.
Chad
And I think it's because they're afraid to do it themselves, you know, I mean, like.
Halle
Yeah, but, like, people want to feel like they can relate to something, you know, sometimes like the unrelatable, like, clean girl aesthetic, it's not super relatable. Like, do you ever get, like, acne? Do you ever, like, oh, my God.
Chad
You know, right now?
Halle
Have you ever, like, cheated on someone?
Chad
Can we, like, face tune this? Like, how's my acne look?
Halle
It looks better on camera.
Chad
Does it look better on camera?
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
Fire. Because I got a couple of things going on.
Halle
I can't even see it from here.
Chad
And it's funny because, like, I've been like, clear skin. I used to have really bad acne.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
And like, I still will get flare ups, but, like, I used to just, like, it was honestly one of, like, the things that, like, makes me a lot less confident is acne.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
But, like, got, like, one facial. Got put on some French products. Like, boom.
Halle
I. Acne's the worst. I had really bad forehead acne when I was like, 14.
Chad
Like, why? Like, where's the pill that, like, clears your acne?
Halle
It's called Accutane, but.
Chad
I know, but, like, too much. You have to. You can't drink.
Halle
Well, you should have done it when you went. Did the 75 hard. Chad did 75 hard last year.
Chad
I did do 75 hard.
Halle
That's when your skin cleared up, actually.
Chad
Yeah. I'd say. I'd say once I like, cut out alcohol, it definitely cleared my skin up in sugar. Sugar.
Halle
I think sugar is what?
Chad
Sugar is what does it. Alcohol. Because it causes inflammation. So, like, when you're inflamed like that, like, you're likely to break out.
Halle
Cucumbers probably don't help.
Chad
I think a lot of the I do doesn't help. I also, like, love, like, five guys and.
Halle
Oh, really?
Chad
Oh, my God.
Halle
Do you breathe a lot? Because I got cut off every day. On what card?
Chad
My dad's.
Halle
No, but, like, it won't work on mine.
Chad
Oh.
Halle
I think he called the bank and said, not Halle.
Chad
Well, I think he knows, like, if I don't have ubereats, I might, like, die.
Halle
Like, you would vanish.
Chad
No, and it's funny because, like, I'm on, like, a healthy meal plan, but, like, when I want to get, like, a greasy cheeseburger and some fries, like, I'm doing it without hesitation.
Halle
It's the only here to hangover.
Chad
Sometimes it is like a diet Coke. Like, like, I need it.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
Okay. I don't really care for a six pack that much. I like to do I don't even.
Halle
Care that Uber eats is taken away from me. Uber taken away from me.
Chad
Well, that's a different story because that's like, my life on the line.
Halle
No, like, dude, and like, one stat took away Uber for me.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
This is such. This is probably not gonna be a relatable segment, but once dad took away the Uber for me, I had to start taking Uberxes. Zoom in on my face.
Chad
Are you. Are you serious?
Halle
No, I know, bro. It was crazy.
Chad
Like, no, I ripped an Uber X today, but it was like a 120.
Halle
Oh, because it was from the airport.
Chad
Yeah. And the guy was super smooth with it. Like, clean car. I loved him.
Halle
Well, you Uber comfort sometimes, but I still don't feel comfort in Uber comfort sometimes.
Chad
What is Uber comfort like?
Halle
More like space, I guess. Newer models. I don't know. It's like the newest Honda Civic.
Chad
That's funny. Like the year ahead.
Halle
Yeah, it's like in 1999, so number 97.
Chad
That's hilarious.
Halle
Yeah. Fuck. I don't even know if we can keep all that in because I'm gonna get ripped, but maybe keep it in because that's real and authentic to me.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle

For years, everyone thought Verizon had the best network because they did. But now the best mobile network in the US is T Mobile. T Mobile's network has the most advanced 5G with more towers, and their signal reaches further than ever. So you can text an insta talk and say, you won't believe where I am. T Mobile has the best mobile Network in the US based on analysis by Ookla of speed test intelligence data 1H2025CT.
Halle
Mobile.Com network this is a really good episode.
Chad
You know, it's great. Is like, me and Hallie, like, have always gotten along so well, and we share a lot of the same characteristics.
Halle
Yeah. So we're also big empaths.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
All right. I think we get along the most. We have so many similarities. But I also feel like I can't. Like, I've gotten into your business way too much at certain times, like when it comes to, like, relationship stuff. I mean, like, I've just, like, felt so deeply for you.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
As a sibling. Like, I. Like, I've definitely got involved with.
Chad
No, I think your ex girlfriends. I think everyone gets involved with. With my stuff just because I think, you know, people close to me care about me. Okay.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
Yeah. Sometimes you want your business, you know?
Halle
Yeah. Remember, we only went, like, five months without talking?
Chad
Yeah. This time last summer.
Halle
Yeah, that was really.
Chad
I know. I missed you.
Halle
I missed you too, bro.
Chad
I'm so glad we're back.
Halle
This is called personal growth.
Chad
Yeah, absolutely.
Halle
I feel like my frontal lobes developing a little bit.
Chad
Life has just been especially, like. Like, 22 to 25. Life has been such, like, a learning curve. And, like, the way I navigate it is like trial and error, you know? Like, I up, but I'll learn from it. But then I'll up again and I'll learn from it. And I feel like my UPS specifically are definitely very open to the public.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
And maybe that's my fault, but. But yeah. I mean, sometimes you want to deal with things on your own.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
I just feel like the situation you have in mind is very different. For sure.
Halle
No, I was also thinking. I was even thinking about that. I was thinking about one of your first girlfriends.
Chad
Oh, yeah.
Halle
That was probably the most. That was tumultuous. This does.
Chad
I don't even know what tumultuous means.
Halle
But, like, like, you know, turbulence.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
Like, it's like. Like. Is that like, kind of a similar comparison? Thank you. Sunny. Tumultuous.
Chad
Yeah, I get exactly what you're saying.
Halle
It was just like. Like, mom was involved. She was crazy. She was, like, accusing you of X, Y, and Z, lying, like, through her teeth.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
There was, like, things being thrown out windows and like. Like, we almost got a restraining order from her. She's so crazy.
Chad
I mean, granted, I've played definitely my part in my past relationships, and what is.
Halle
You know, that's accountability right there.
Chad
Yeah. I mean, like, I'm like, a perfect person. I think, relationship wise, like, any mishaps that I've ever had come from within, and they come from how I feel about myself. And I think just, like, being in a relationship that young, like, you're not gonna, like, it's not gonna work out.
Halle
You know, Another place where I feel like we have a similarity. I feel like when I'm in a relationship, I feel like my insecurities, own personal insecurities reflect the nature of that relationship.
Chad
Exactly. Yeah.
Halle
And it's, like, come out even stronger. It never shines a bright light on, like, them.
Chad
Yeah. Yeah. And it never has anything to do with the other person.
Halle
And.
Chad
And, you know, like, sometimes the other person will catch some heat because I'm feeling a certain way, and I'll take it, and then boom, boom, boom. It gets to this person. This person. And, like, yeah. Now it's like, okay, like, these people are not good for each other. And sometimes it's just, like, one. One of the parties that is up.
Halle
Yeah. Also, like, I know for me, when I'm, like, in a relationship, I'm thinking, like, about my college boyfriend, specifically. He's such a nice guy.
Chad
Like, great guy.
Halle
Sweetest, nicest guy ever. But, like, I feel like I treated him like dog and was so mean to him because of my own problem. Problems.
Chad
Yeah. And I, like, you're, like. You're young, you know, Like. Yeah, but, like, we don't realize how young we are in that moment. And I know, like, we're just. We're human, you know, we deal with our own stuff, and it's never fair to the other person if you're dealing with your own, because it's going to come out on that person, and it's going to ruin, you know, the possibility of you guys having anything in the future, you know?
Halle
Yeah. So, I mean, with him, we kind of just closed that door. I think it was too mean to him. For him.
Chad
Yeah. I think it's just, like, two different. Like, sometimes it's two different lifestyles. Like, you're just like, what kind of.
Halle
Guy do you see me with?
Chad
I don't know. Like, I. I know you have this, like, very, like, outgoing energy. You have this very energy. That's, like, a good thing. You know what I mean? Like, I feel like people are intimidated by you guys included.
Halle
They should be. But it's like, who's the one that's gonna.
Chad
I think the one. Like, it's. It's like, I've seen you be more obsessed with guys when they treat you, like.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
You know what I mean? Like, I've seen, like. And it's like, the guy that will make you feel like you're on their level rather than above their level. That, like, catches your attention.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
You know what I mean?
Halle
I know exactly the three people. You're thinking of at least two.
Chad
No, I'm thinking of, like, yeah, one or two. But, like, I'm gonna think of that. The one during COVID I'm just, like, talking about, like, myself, too. Like.
Halle
Like. Because then it's, like, why? Because then I'm like, it's never the nice guy you, like, hone in on.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
Or the girl that's gonna treat you.
Chad
No, it's the funny dick.
Halle
It's always, like, the. The one that, like, gives you a lot and then, like, kind of pulls away a little bit.
Chad
Yeah. The guy who's.
Halle
What's that about?
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
What are you doing? What are you up to?
Chad
He knows what he's doing. He knows how to play his cards.
Halle
Yeah, yeah. He knows he's a manipulator and gaslighter.
Chad
Gaslighter.
Halle
He, like, out games. The game. Like, my own game. And then I feel stupid and insecure.
Chad
I know, but I see you with someone older. Someone, like, not even older. Just someone, like, who here is confident in themselves, but also, like, will tell you when you're in the wrong.
Halle
You know, I definitely need someone that's gonna, like, put me in my place.
Chad
Yeah. Yeah. Like, you can't just have someone that, like, you're able to walk all over you just because, like, you're the. And he's a. You know what I mean? Like, I think you need someone who will, like, balance you out.
Halle
Yeah.
Chad
And, like, obviously there's people like that out there, and you'll find them. But the way I appreciate the fact that you don't, like, rush it. Like, you chill and you're able to, like, take a. I always say, like.
Halle
I'm doing them a favor. Like, everyone's like, why have you been single for so long? I'm like, I can't.
Chad
No.
Halle
Put someone else through that.
Chad
You have. So. No, I wouldn't say that because you have so much to offer a relationship. And obviously, like, besides, like, like, obviously you're beautiful and you're hilarious and this and that, but, like, you have so much. Like, the more you grow up, the more you're gonna have to offer, like, someone else. And, like, I know we're in our 20s. Like, we're still learning right from wrong. We're still learning, you know, this and that. And I think, you know, the grass.
Halle
Is always greener, though. I feel like whenever it's all about.
Chad
Timing, like, it could be the right people, but if the timing's wrong, it's not going to work.
Halle
I feel like all my friends are, like. Like, entering very serious eras of their lives right now.
Chad
Sometimes I feel like that's just because they feel like they need to rush that.
Halle
No, I always say this. I'm like. I feel like society pushes, like, milestones on people for certain ages. Like, okay, like, you're 27. You should be moving in with a girlfriend, being serious with them. Oh, you're 29. You should be getting engaged at least. Oh, you're 31. You should start having kids, getting married.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
You know, like, society, like, kind of puts you into different boxes.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
And then I think people kind of panic. So I always see these people just settle. Not. I'm not talking about, obviously, Lauren and Jordan. Like, they've been together forever. And, like, there's exceptions. Tommy, like, Emma and Peyton, like, those are people who are successful relationships.
Chad
A big part of it. Those are people who are one financially ready.
Halle
Yes. Yeah.
Chad
And that's a huge part of it. And, you know, you can't do anything. And if you can't provide for yourself, you're not going to be able to provide for something.
Halle
Exactly. I'm more talking about, like, the people I went, like, high school and college with. Like, some of those people, I'm like, what are we doing here? Like this?
Chad
No.
Halle
We didn't want to look out the fishbowl that much. Like, what are we doing here?
Chad
Yeah. The more you experience, the more you'll learn how to do it better the next time.
Halle
100.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
This is a really deep combo.
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
Sonny, did you like that?
Chad
Yeah.
Halle
That was sick.
Chad
Yeah, I with it.
Halle
That was good, bro. It was unreal. All right, guys. That was fun and hilarious, and so much came out of that that I didn't even expect. So there's gonna be a part two to this. Thank you all for listening. Next week's episode, it's gonna be even crazier and funnier. We're gonna do a Q A. More getting to know Chad, More getting to know the lore. Getting to know the family. Regardless, I honestly, at this point, I think we need a reality TV show. But anyways, stay tuned for that and I love you all and. And see you then.
