There was a time when Josh could go 90 minutes on stage and still want more.

Now?

Thirty minutes in… and something shifts.

Not burnout exactly. Not failure.

Just… disconnect.

That feeling when you’re doing the thing you love—but it’s not hitting the same way anymore.

🧠 The Reality

This isn’t about stand-up.

It’s about something bigger:

👉 What happens when passion starts to feel like obligation 👉 When muscle memory replaces curiosity 👉 When you’re still “good”… but no longer alive in it

And the uncomfortable truth?

Most people never fix that.

They just adjust to it.

✈️ The Test

This weekend: Portland

One of Josh’s favorite cities.

A place where, historically… everything clicks.

So this becomes the proving ground.

Not for the set. Not for the crowd.

But for the feeling.

Did it work… or didn’t it?
