Yeah. I'm really relieved that I'm. We are traveling during. The kids get three weeks off for winter break, which I think is a little much. It's a little much. It's a lot.

So we are traveling one of those weeks because the younger girls have never been to New York. So we decided to do, like, a whole kids in New York during the winter kind of thing.

Like, go skate in Bryant park. And Ava's gonna, like, rewatch Gossip Girl so that she has all her Blair Waldorf things and places that she wants to go to.

Oh, that'll be so fun. I love New York around Christmas time.

I don't know if they're gonna be, like, climatized or ready for the cold.

Oh. I mean, when this airs, we will have just returned from Boston, so good luck to you. Good Luck to us. It's gonna be pretty chilly. Henry told me that his favorite weather is cold and rainy. And I was like, okay, well, good.

We have talked a lot about home and kitchen type things on our mini Epps this year, and you all have given us suggestions and we've tried some things out. So, Dory, what, What? What do you have lined up?

Okay, let me first preface this by saying I know everyone has an Awala water bottle.

[Elise Hu]

Yeah, yeah.

[Dori Shafrir]

But last year in my mahjong group, we do a. Like, we do a gift exchange every year.

[Elise Hu]

Yeah.

[Dori Shafrir]

And last year I got this Awala tumbler that is called the Smooth sip slider. The 12 ounce size. Elise, I'm going to hold it up right now so you can see it. See, it's a little slider thing on top. Yeah.

It's not like one of the giant water bottles.

[Dori Shafrir]

Correct.

[Elise Hu]

Steel water bottles that we carry around crash onto floors.

[Dori Shafrir]

Yes, yes. Now, this can be used for hot or cold drinks. I use it for my coffee. It is the perfect size for morning coffee. I have found that in the bigger, like, 20 ounce tumblers, I just don't finish the coffee. And this is like, this is the perfect size. You can also get it with a handle or with no handle. I do not have a handle. Um, you know, that's personal preference. With no handle, the 12 ounce size is 24.99. And then with the handle, it's 27.99. And then there is a 20 ounce size, if that's your jam. But I really like the small 12 ounce size.

It'll fit in all cup holders as well.

It's in everything. It's compact. It doesn't leak. I'm really a fan. So if you're looking for a relatively inexpensive gift for someone who is maybe a coffee or tea drinker, I really recommend this. This mug.

But last time I got my hair cut, which was a couple weeks ago, my hairstylist, and I swear to God this happened, she was like, your hair is so shiny. It's really healthy. And I was like, okay. So for years, I was not using conditioner or I was using, like, some spray leave in conditioner that didn't really do anything. And my hair always looked kind of like, it's striped, but it looks sort of dry and frizzy. And I was always like, okay, well, I guess that's just my hair. And then pros. I started using the pros, and I was like, oh, this is what my hair is supposed to look. And I will say, you know, it's run out a couple times, and I've been like, oh, I don't know, you know, should I resubscribe? Because it's. It is expensive. It's more expensive than, like, drugstore shampoo and conditioner. And I've tried, you know, just something that I pick up at Target, and it's, like, not the same.

Yeah. So I. I have also found my experimentation with pros to be very positive.

Elise, while we're on the topic of cozy, there is a local boutique or a local brand on Abbot Kinney here in Venice, California, near where I live, called papa sweater. And they have these like, snuggies essentially. Or they look like. What are they called? Not shamwow. What was that other thing in the early 2010s that you could wear?

They're called the slanket.

Yeah, kind of like slankets yes, but I don't. It was something like that, but they were sold on like as seen on tv. Papa Sweater makes an elevated one that's like a very cuddly robe looking jacket. And so I'm gonna link y' all to the Sheep Midi, which is. It looks like a robe with a hood essentially, but also it's sleek enough to be a jacket that you wear over a dress or a jumpsuit. I really want this. I am asking Santa for it. I might just wear it around the house with my soft pants that I wear every day, but I could also wear it outside of the house to go pick up my kids or something from school. So this is from Papa Sweater. It is a local brand. Big fan. And then just staying on family owned or originally family owned businesses. Latico Leathers. Latico makes this bag that my friend Jen was carrying at a conference that I ran into her at recently. And it's so cute. All the pockets are outside. It's called the J Tote. Ooh, okay. And it's super cute. There's like little compartments for it. The tote itself I think is canvas and striped, but then there's leather pockets outside of it. And one of them has like a button so that you can keep like small items that might fall out. But then the others are just. There's a sleeve for your cell phone. Then you can keep it outside your bag rather than inside the bag. It's called the J Leather tote bag. It's priced, it's on sale right now at $97 from Latico Leathers. But it's just a brand I really like. There's also a polka dot wallet we're going to link you to called the Tulum Leather wallet that I also think is really cute. And I don't know who is going to spend the money to buy me one because it's 300 some dollars. But I have been wanting for many years the I read band books embroidered cashmere sweater from Lingua Franca. It's so cute. And anytime I see it on somebody, I'm like, oh, I want that sweater. It comes in so many colors, so soft. And then the embroidery is just adorable. I love the way that this I read banned books is embroidered on there. And this year, with the loss of funding for PBS and NPR they're making a new one with the old school PBS logo on it, so you can check those out. Yeah, you can get a PBS logo sweater. These are fancy sweaters. I mean, you can, you can dress these sweaters up and there's the PBS logo one. Or you can just get the classic Iread band books embroidered cashmere sweater. They're both really nice, but again, pricey. So.

Issa is a highly sensitive person, an hsp, and so she really likes watching, like, ASMR at night before she goes to bed. And she really likes sensory squeeze or Squishies. And so she has one on her list. I think it's by. It's. It's from Evil Amazon, but it is a sensory squeeze toy. With super solid squish that she just wants around. And these are 999 or something?
