Dori Shafrir

Elise Hu
It is time. It is time. Depending on how much consumerism you want to take part in and you don't have to. It's a it's in this economy. But we have put together a list of our favorite things or things that we have liked throughout the year that might make for good gifts for your loved ones or are in my case, I put some of the items that are actually on my holiday wish list on the gift guide because I feel like they would be good saves because they are gifts that I want personally.
Dori Shafrir

Dori Shafrir

All right, Elise, we have a lot of gifts to guide, so I feel like we should get right into it.
Elise Hu
Are you in the holiday spirit yet? I cannot believe we're already here at this time of year. I. I still have pumpkins on my porch.
Dori Shafrir
I am just a little in denial that we are here, But. But here we are. You know what? I will say I am glad that Hanukkah is not super early this year.
Elise Hu
Ah.
Dori Shafrir
Like, that's always. That always messes me up. Like, one year, it was basically right after Thanksgiving. Like, recently, like, since I've had Henry, it was right after Thanksgiving, and that was just like, whoa. Like, can we slow down? So at least I have a couple more weeks.
Elise Hu
Yeah. I'm really relieved that I'm. We are traveling during. The kids get three weeks off for winter break, which I think is a little much. It's a little much. It's a lot.
Dori Shafrir
It's a lot.
Elise Hu
So we are traveling one of those weeks because the younger girls have never been to New York. So we decided to do, like, a whole kids in New York during the winter kind of thing.
Dori Shafrir
Yeah.
Elise Hu
Like, go skate in Bryant park. And Ava's gonna, like, rewatch Gossip Girl so that she has all her Blair Waldorf things and places that she wants to go to.
Dori Shafrir
Oh, that'll be so fun. I love New York around Christmas time.
Elise Hu
I don't know if they're gonna be, like, climatized or ready for the cold.
Dori Shafrir
Oh. I mean, when this airs, we will have just returned from Boston, so good luck to you. Good Luck to us. It's gonna be pretty chilly. Henry told me that his favorite weather is cold and rainy. And I was like, okay, well, good.
Elise Hu
You're getting your wish.
Dori Shafrir
That's what we're gonna get. So.
Elise Hu
How funny.
Dori Shafrir
Well, let's get into it.
Elise Hu
We have talked a lot about home and kitchen type things on our mini Epps this year, and you all have given us suggestions and we've tried some things out. So, Dory, what, What? What do you have lined up?
Dori Shafrir
Okay, let me first preface this by saying I know everyone has an Awala water bottle.
Elise Hu
Yeah, yeah.
Dori Shafrir
But last year in my mahjong group, we do a. Like, we do a gift exchange every year.
Elise Hu
Yeah.
Dori Shafrir
And last year I got this Awala tumbler that is called the Smooth sip slider. The 12 ounce size. Elise, I'm going to hold it up right now so you can see it. See, it's a little slider thing on top. Yeah.
Elise Hu
It's not like one of the giant water bottles.
Dori Shafrir
Correct.
Elise Hu
Steel water bottles that we carry around crash onto floors.
Dori Shafrir
Yes, yes. Now, this can be used for hot or cold drinks. I use it for my coffee. It is the perfect size for morning coffee. I have found that in the bigger, like, 20 ounce tumblers, I just don't finish the coffee. And this is like, this is the perfect size. You can also get it with a handle or with no handle. I do not have a handle. Um, you know, that's personal preference. With no handle, the 12 ounce size is 24.99. And then with the handle, it's 27.99. And then there is a 20 ounce size, if that's your jam. But I really like the small 12 ounce size.
Elise Hu
It'll fit in all cup holders as well.
Dori Shafrir
It's in everything. It's compact. It doesn't leak. I'm really a fan. So if you're looking for a relatively inexpensive gift for someone who is maybe a coffee or tea drinker, I really recommend this. This mug.
Elise Hu
Okay. I think it's super cute. And, you know, given it's a walla, there's gonna be lots of different colors. All right, so for my contribution to home and Kitchen and I, we should preface this by saying we're gonna talk about as much stuff as we can in the amount of podcasting time that we have for this episode. But there will inevitably be recommendations on our gift guide that will only exist as links or on our show notes or on our patreon in the newsletter. So be sure if you want to see the full guide, subscribe to the newsletter, which is free and available on Patreon or check our show notes which we will put.
Dori Shafrir
Yeah.
Elise Hu
In its usual place. So I will throw in a couple wrecks. One, we often ask our guests for their. The candle that they were they last lit. So the candle that I like to gift just for a quick gift, like for teachers, sometimes like as a teacher thank you gift because it's $24 is from PF Candle Company.
Dori Shafrir
Oh, love them.
Elise Hu
In the golden coast scent. I also like the one that's called Ojai something. But golden coast is solid. I think that everybody. It's an inoffensive, subtle scent. And you know, PF Candle does. Especially if you get it shipped or something. They do that nice packaging and everything. So this is a really great gift, especially if you work in like sales and want to send things to your clients or collaborators from the year.
Dori Shafrir
And to go along with that golden coast scented candle, may I recommend a fancy looking candle warmer?
Elise Hu
We love a candle warmer here.
Dori Shafrir
We love a candle warmer. And now they come in like a lot of different varieties. And there's this one that Target is selling right now that looks pretty luxe. I will say it does. And it's $30. And I think it would make a really lovely gift. So if you want to, if you want to like get Elise's candle recommendation and the candle warmer. That's a really nice gift.
Elise Hu
Love that. That's a great idea. Yeah, just a little, a little gift combo suggested from us here at Forever 35.
Dori Shafrir
Exactly.
Elise Hu
But what if somebody wants to buy like a big gift? Okay. Big home and kitchen gifts.
Dori Shafrir
Elise, this. Remember when you were saying that you put some stuff on the list that you actually also want? So I put the Ninja Combi all in one multi cooker oven and air fryer.
Elise Hu
Oh, yes. We discussed this in the summer. It does so many things.
Dori Shafrir
Yes, it does so many things. It has 14 functions.
Elise Hu
Yeah. And it like folds for more counter space.
Podcast Host Intro
I can't.
Dori Shafrir
I don't know if this is the same one. Okay. They have a lot of different varieties. But like the, the range of things that the, that they say this thing can make is insane. It's like crispy french fries, a rotisserie chicken, Rice krispie treats or. What is this? I don't even know what this is. Like. It, it's just it. There's so chocolate chip cookies, a roast pizza. What I will say is when I put this on the list, it said the regular price is $249.99. When I put it on. It was on sale for 169.99. And as I'm looking at today, it is on sale for $179.99. So it seems to me like they are tweaking the price constantly.
Elise Hu
So you might vary.
Dori Shafrir
Prices may vary, but this is on the Ninja site, which is sharkninja.com. so this is like one of the things that I want. I also kind of want the Ninja slushy machine.
Elise Hu
You know what? I. I feel like Shark Ninja should give us a discount code because we have been talking up their stuff throughout 2025. Now, I agree. We don't currently have a discount code for Shark.
Dori Shafrir
It's. Sorry, it's not the slushy, it's the creamy. The Ninja creamy. That is like. I'm like, ooh, that would be fun.
Podcast Host Intro
I have no space for this.
Dori Shafrir
But, um, are there. Okay, are there any last home kitchen things that you want to mention, Elise?
Elise Hu
Okay, well, we had the big. In honor of our big dish towel discussion of summer 2025, which some of you burnt out on, I just want to put another plug in for those beautiful and functional geometry tea towels of which I just cannot stop buying. So I just have a growing collection of geometry tea towels because they come in so many great colors and patterns. And then one final home and kitchen gift suggestion before we go to a break is Tree Man Studio shop on Etsy. So my friend Evita's father, who is silver haired, I gotta say, he's in his late 70s, has decided at his advanced age to start becoming a woodturner and turning reclaimed wood. Yes. Into beautiful custom jewelry boxes and bowls. And so we are going to link you to his shop on Etsy. I have already gotten some gifts from his shop, but there's. But everything is one of its kind because he has personally had making these San Antonio. There's trays, there are jars, there are keepsake boxes. Really, really beautiful stuff. A really lovely and personal gift. So we will link you those. And then after the break, we have so many other things to talk about, like some serums. Well, not specifically serums, but some gift ideas in the beauty category and in the clothing category. And some just random things that we think would make for fun gifts.
Dori Shafrir
It's true. All right, we'll be right back.
Podcast Host Intro

Podcast Host Intro
Things about gift giving is when you find something truly perfect for everyone on your list. But you also love everything that you bought for everyone. Which is kind of what happened with my quints order. Everything's so soft and well made. I'm seriously tempted to keep it all for myself because quints pretty much has your whole list covered. They have Mongolian cashmere sweaters for $50 when you'd normally pay $200 or more. Then there's the denim that goes with everything, silk tops and skirts for when you need to look put together, cashmere beanies and scarves and down jackets that actually keep you warm. Those Italian wool coats that they have, they're absolutely at the top of my list. They look designer, feel luxurious, and are made with premium materials. I did get myself the 100% cotton oversized cable cardigan which I am obsessed with. I wear it all the time. It's a staple for sure, and I am gonna give one to my best friend this holiday. But like everything at Quint's, the price won't make you panic. We're talking way less than other brands charge. By working directly with trusted factories that maintain high standards for both craftsmanship and ethical practices, and by cutting out the middlemen and markups, Quince is able to pass those savings straight to you find gifts so good you'll want to keep them with Quince. Go to quince.comforever35 for free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada too. That's quince.comforever35 to get free shipping and 365 day returns. Quince.comforever35.
Dori Shafrir
All right, we are back. Let's do the beauty category because you have some stuff on here that I am intrigued by.
Elise Hu
Yeah, we haven't talked about these before we came to the show, so it's our chance to talk about what we're excited about too, which is fun. Well, first, I love the Evolve Together hand cream. And Evolve Together actually offers a set of minis, which I think is such a cute gift. It's three of its hand creams. They're sized for travel. You can also figure out your favorite scent because there's one scent in particular that I like the most from there. And I can't remember if it's Monaco or Havana, but both of them are in there in that Evolve Together set. And I want to say that if you click on our link to our shop my page, you will get a discount because Evolve Together has been working with us and offered us samples earlier this year. And I remember when I got this mini set from shop from our shop, my, you know, relationship, I was like, oh, I need to put this on the gift guide. So I did back in July or something. And so check that out. We will link to it. And then my new serum that I've been using all year is the Sulwhasoo First Care Serum, which I discovered through a trial trial kit that I think I had originally gotten as a gift for somebody else but then kept. And so that kit, that Sulwhasoo First Care Travel trial kit is a recommendation on this gift guide as well. I think it's $40 or $49. You can get it from Sephora and give all of their products a try. This is the very tried and true Korean beauty brand. It's been around forever. Um, and their line of products here are their kind of hero products that are responsible for most of its sales. So try that out. And then my one other recommendation, this is a stocking stuffer and I'm gonna get em for my older girls, at least the Pixi on the glow blush that's on the glow. Pun intended. They come in and my makeup artist, Heather, who you probably remember getting to meet when we did our did our forever 35 headshots. Heather really likes These. These are in her kit also. They're in, like, little mini deodorant packaging, you know, and you just, like, pop off the top and screw it out. And then it's cream blush, essentially. But you can just keep it in your purse, keep it in a pocket even, and then you have a little color on the go or on the glow, as these they say. All right, what about you, Dora? What's in your beauty category?
Dori Shafrir
I promise we're not just, like, recommending advertisers, and they do not know that we are recommending these products. But last time I got my hair cut, which was a couple weeks ago, my hairstylist, and I swear to God this happened, she was like, your hair is so shiny. It's really healthy. And I was like, okay. It's funny you say that, because I also have been feeling like my hair has been, like, looking really healthy and shiny lately. And I think it is because I finally started using enough conditioner.
Elise Hu
Oh, okay.
Dori Shafrir
And that conditioner that I use is Prose. I also use the Prose shampoo, but the conditioner, you know, because Prose's whole thing is that it's custom hair care, like, based on your hair's needs and where you live and, you know, all these. All these questions that they ask you in their. In their questionnaire. And I had always thought that my hair was too greasy for conditioner, but that turned out to be a lie. So for years, I was not using conditioner or I was using, like, some spray leave in conditioner that didn't really do anything. And my hair always looked kind of like, it's striped, but it looks sort of dry and frizzy. And I was always like, okay, well, I guess that's just my hair. And then pros. I started using the pros, and I was like, oh, this is what my hair is supposed to look. And I will say, you know, it's run out a couple times, and I've been like, oh, I don't know, you know, should I resubscribe? Because it's. It is expensive. It's more expensive than, like, drugstore shampoo and conditioner. And I've tried, you know, just something that I pick up at Target, and it's, like, not the same.
Elise Hu
Yeah. So I. I have also found my experimentation with pros to be very positive.
Dori Shafrir
Yeah. So we do. I believe we still do have a discount with them. It's@pros.com forever35. So if you want to check that out, and I recommend that you do get that for yourself. You can Also gift pros. So on their website, you can gift it to someone, which is cool.
Elise Hu
All right, so that's a short, non exhaustive list of potential beauty buys, but let's jump to another popular category for us. Do you want to do clothes, shoes and or accessories?
Dori Shafrir
Sure.
Elise Hu
What is on your list, Dori?
Dori Shafrir
This is another thing where I'm like, okay, if anyone wants to buy these for me, okay, so these have been advertised to me and I have clicked through several times being like, do I want these? Which is why I'm sure I keep getting this ad. Because they're like, eventually she will buy them because she keeps clicking.
Elise Hu
Break her down. Yes.
Dori Shafrir
And they are the Teva women's re ember camp slip on. They're kind of like slippers, but they are outdoor shoes. This is how they're described on the. On the website. The perfect cold weather. Go to our Re ember camp shoe cues up cloud like comfort with a puffy quilted upper. Equally at ease at base camp and supportive enough for all day wear, this versatile outdoor shoe employs a grippy rubber sole and adjustable strap closure and a collapsible heel for easy on off. Now, do I go camping? No. Do I live somewhere cold?
Podcast Host Intro
No.
Dori Shafrir
But do I like being cozy because I am a Taurus?
Podcast Host Intro
Yes.
Dori Shafrir
So I really want these shoes. They come in a couple different styles. The rember camp ones have this heel, like closed heel that is collapsible. And then they also have one that's just a slide called the re ember terrain. And then they also have a little booty. Oh, cute. Platform that are also cute. So I don't know, I'm kind of tempted by all of them. They range. Oh, yeah, the slip on. Okay.
Elise Hu
I like the slip on. I feel like it's kind of a. Yeah. Kind of like a slipper almost. But a slipper you could wear outside.
Dori Shafrir
Exactly.
Elise Hu
Yes.
Dori Shafrir
Okay. In my experience, I have found Tevas to run big. I don't know if that is everyone's experience, but my advice, if you're considering these would be to size down. But okay. Anyway, how about.
Elise Hu
Elise, while we're on the topic of cozy, there is a local boutique or a local brand on Abbot Kinney here in Venice, California, near where I live, called papa sweater. And they have these like, snuggies essentially. Or they look like. What are they called? Not shamwow. What was that other thing in the early 2010s that you could wear?
Dori Shafrir
They're called the slanket.
Elise Hu
Yeah, kind of like slankets yes, but I don't. It was something like that, but they were sold on like as seen on tv. Papa Sweater makes an elevated one that's like a very cuddly robe looking jacket. And so I'm gonna link y' all to the Sheep Midi, which is. It looks like a robe with a hood essentially, but also it's sleek enough to be a jacket that you wear over a dress or a jumpsuit. I really want this. I am asking Santa for it. I might just wear it around the house with my soft pants that I wear every day, but I could also wear it outside of the house to go pick up my kids or something from school. So this is from Papa Sweater. It is a local brand. Big fan. And then just staying on family owned or originally family owned businesses. Latico Leathers. Latico makes this bag that my friend Jen was carrying at a conference that I ran into her at recently. And it's so cute. All the pockets are outside. It's called the J Tote. Ooh, okay. And it's super cute. There's like little compartments for it. The tote itself I think is canvas and striped, but then there's leather pockets outside of it. And one of them has like a button so that you can keep like small items that might fall out. But then the others are just. There's a sleeve for your cell phone. Then you can keep it outside your bag rather than inside the bag. It's called the J Leather tote bag. It's priced, it's on sale right now at $97 from Latico Leathers. But it's just a brand I really like. There's also a polka dot wallet we're going to link you to called the Tulum Leather wallet that I also think is really cute. It would make a great gift for your girlfriends. So consider Latico Leathers. Okay. Yes. And then one more. Because I love wearing cashmere sweaters in the winter. I have yet to splurge on this, so. And I don't know who is going to spend the money to buy me one because it's 300 some dollars. But I have been wanting for many years the I read band books embroidered cashmere sweater from Lingua Franca. It's so cute. And anytime I see it on somebody, I'm like, oh, I want that sweater. It comes in so many colors, so soft. And then the embroidery is just adorable. I love the way that this I read banned books is embroidered on there. And this year, with the loss of funding for PBS and NPR they're making a new one with the old school PBS logo on it, so you can check those out. Yeah, you can get a PBS logo sweater. These are fancy sweaters. I mean, you can, you can dress these sweaters up and there's the PBS logo one. Or you can just get the classic Iread band books embroidered cashmere sweater. They're both really nice, but again, pricey. So.
Dori Shafrir
Well, I hope Rob is listening. Are you there, Rob? That's me, Elise.
Elise Hu
I don't have any jewelry or anything on this list, so maybe this can be a big higher price item that he can think of.
Dori Shafrir
There we go. All right, Elise, we are going to take another short break and when we come back, we have a few more categories that we're gonna chat about, like kids and pets. I do have a jewelry recommendation.
Elise Hu
It's not that great. Okay.
Dori Shafrir
But we have a few more. We have a few more recommendations and we'll be right back.
Elise Hu
Okay, great. We'll be right back.

Sometimes the holidays are the best time to get a steal of a deal on things you've been wanting all year. So if you've been thinking of trying Masterclass, I recommend trying it now. Especially if you're going to be traveling. Change your commute or travel time into a classroom. You can learn wherever you are on your phone, laptop, or even your tv. You can go audio only mode or watch the videos. You can even download classes to watch offline and make the most of your travel time. Masterclass goes with you and fits into your life. I love using Masterclass as a way to keep my doomstrawing in check also. And if I find myself reaching for my phone too often, I'll open Masterclass instead and take a look around. Suddenly I'm watching Amy Poehler teach me ways to apply the principles of improv to my life or atomic habits. Author James Clear teaching me to develop good, repeatable habits. I guess that's why 88% of surveyed members feel that Masterclass has made a positive impact on their lives. Masterclass always has great offers during the holidays, sometimes up to as much as 50% off. Head over to masterclass.com forever35 for the current offer. That's up to 50% off at masterclass.com forever35 masterclass.com forever35.

Podcast Host Intro
All right, we are back.
Dori Shafrir
I will just quickly mention this jewelry thing.
Elise Hu
Okay.
Dori Shafrir
It is a tennis racket bag charm from coach. So very bougie.
Elise Hu
Bag charms are. But bag charms are lovely. Like, people really love their bag charms, and they take good care of them. I just. I'm not a delicate enough person to take good care of bag charms, so never gift me one. But I'm looking at these coach ones.
Dori Shafrir
They're really cute. I don't really. They're really cute. They're like. And they're expensive for what they are, but they're sort of this, like, little. Little, like, burst of luxury. It's night. This. This tennis racket one is $95. It's a little bougie gift, you know, like this. This, to me, falls into the category of, like, what to get for your.
Elise Hu
Friend, what to get your tennis captain as a thank you gift, or what.
Dori Shafrir
To get your tennis captain as a thank you gift. My tennis team did get me some really nice gifts, by the way, so that was very nice. But, yeah, like, this is, like, a thing that is really, you know, sweet and thoughtful. Probably not something that people buy for themselves a lot. Like, to me, this feels like a really nice gift. If you are looking to spend a hundred dollars on someone, it is very cute. All right, Elise, what category do you want to do that?
Elise Hu
Well, while we're on the topic of bag charms, we have a suggestion. Or it looks like you have a wreck in the kids and pets category for a different kind of bag charm.
Dori Shafrir
Okay. So I feel like this is something, again, that you could buy for yourself, but also, if you have a child in your life who's into bag charms. Jelly Cat has some really cute bag charms, and they have a Clyde Capybara bag charm. Did you look at this little guy?
Elise Hu
Elise Luna has been wanting this because she has the jelly cat soccer ball bag charm already. And, I mean, all kids these days are just obsessed with jelly cat. Like, it's impossible. We're trying to get into the Jelly Cat Cafe in New York, and it's almost impossible to get a reservation. I think bots are buying up the reservations for the Jelly Cat Cafe. It's crazy. And it's the only reason why it's such a draw is because you can get like, four limited edition jelly cats at that cafe only. So if you get one, it means that you were there for that experience. So there's so many friends from California who are trying to go to the Jelly Cat Cafe when they're in New York specifically because of this. And I'm gonna try.
Dori Shafrir
Do you know about the pop up here in la?
Elise Hu
Yes. Yes. Except apparently it's kind of just a kiosk, so Ava was sort of disappointed. Oh, it's not more than. Yeah, it's not more.
Dori Shafrir
It's just the tea collection, I think, or something.
Elise Hu
Yeah. But yes, Jelly Cat. We. I, I like their stuff. It is very cute. And capybaras are adorable.
Dori Shafrir
Adorable.
Elise Hu
Yay. Okay, that's a good one. What else? What else for. What else for kids? Well, what's on Henry's list?
Dori Shafrir
Yeah, I put something that is on Henry's list. On this list. This is very specific.
Elise Hu
Okay.
Dori Shafrir
And for a very specific child, namely my child, he is obsessed with Marble Runs. And there's a YouTube channel called Jelly's Marble Runs. And they do. They basically do Formula one for marbles, and they call it Marbula One.
Podcast Host Intro
Oh.
Dori Shafrir
Also, this has. This has been like the gateway into Henry getting into actual Formula One, which he now watches, which is like a whole other situation. But Jelly, of course, and that's J, E L L E. Of course, they have toys for sale that they have, you know, licensed or whatever. And they have a Hyperloop, a Marbula One Hyperloop for $149. And it comes with all of the marbles in the Marbula 1 universe. Oh, so you can have your own Marbula 1 races event.
Elise Hu
Yes. Okay.
Dori Shafrir
Events. Yes. So Henry has said that he wants this from Santa.
Elise Hu
Okay.
Dori Shafrir
So we're gonna have to talk to Santa about this. Right.
Elise Hu
Because it's kind of like, well, is Santa in this economy or. But yeah, maybe he. Maybe. Maybe Santa is post financial, as they say in Silicon Valley. I realized I didn't. I didn't include any kid stuff, and I included dog stuff on this lit. On this guide. But I. There is something from Issa's wish list this year that I think could be a great stocking stuffer kind of gift. Issa is a highly sensitive person, an hsp, and so she really likes watching, like, ASMR at night before she goes to bed. And she really likes sensory squeeze or Squishies. And so she has one on her list. I think it's by. It's. It's from Evil Amazon, but it is a sensory squeeze toy. With super solid squish that she just wants around. And these are 999 or something?
Dori Shafrir
Yes.
Elise Hu
So and come in a bunch of different colors. So you can if you have kids like Issa. Let me see. Suggest that for stocking stuffers or for one of the Knights of Hanukkah, it could work out really well. And then for the dogs, this is a callback to one of our mini apps. But there are Costco themed dog toys out there. Where the dog toys include. The set from Bark brand includes a Costco hot dog, my favorite lunch, a Costco pizza, a chocolate chip cookie, a Costco wholesale executive dog membership card and the 20 ounce drink, the Tony Ounce drink. It's currently for sale on Walmart.com we will try and link other places too if it's offered up in other places. But it is a set of toys from Bark that includes a bunch of stuff that you can get from the Costco food court. So enjoy. I know Oscar will love the hot dog because he's my son.
Dori Shafrir
Of course, of course he will. He might even actually try to eat it.
Elise Hu
Oh yes, he's gone. We will find it in his stomach after a very expensive five figure surgery.
Dori Shafrir
Yes, exactly. All right, well, Elise, I think we have time for one more category. Is there one that is like speaking to you?
Elise Hu
Yeah. Well then let me just throw in a couple things for travel because I know a lot of y' all are going to be traveling and then travel related gifts are a great thing to consider for the people who are on the go in your life. One is I wanted to recommend the Lunia sleep masks. As you know, I cannot sleep with a sleep mask regularly, but I love sleeping with a sleep mask on the plane. And so Lunia is the one that I use. I actually was introduced to this brand by my brother who got me a sleep mask as a gift several years ago and they are currently running a special discount for our listeners. 15% off if you use the code Forever35POD. Forever35POD. And get yourself a Lunia sleep mask or get one for the people in your life who might appreciate it. I feel like this is a great host gift, you know, like yes, around the holiday season when you're getting invited to other people's houses, you can get get them a candle or get them a sleep mask, this kind of smaller thing.
Dori Shafrir
Also what's nice about the Lunia sleep mask is it looks very luxe.
Medik8 Advertiser
Yes.
Elise Hu
And it's like a nice box size so you can get it wrapped really nicely or you can Wrap it really nicely and make it. Make it a glam gift.
Dori Shafrir
And I see on their website they also have a weighted sleep mask. That's interesting.
Elise Hu
I think I need to get that for Isabelle because Isa is exactly the kind of person, she loves being cozy. She loves her weighted blanket. She only sleeps under a weighted blanket even when it's like 90 degrees outside. Loves her weighted blanket just for the. For the feel of it. So she might like. She might like that.
Dori Shafrir
I'm intrigued by the weighted sleep mask. It looks very like hefty, you know, like it would really like, you know, make you feel like put you right to sleep. I think it's time.
Elise Hu
Yeah, it's time to go to bed.
Dori Shafrir
Yes, exactly, exactly.
Elise Hu
I might need to use it at one of those volleyball tournaments I'm spending my weekends at too, because it's total sensory overload. The fluorescent lighting and like the 64 volleyball matches going on at the same time. And the whistles.
Capital One Advertiser
So.
Elise Hu
One more travel gift to recommend for the road is away travel. And I know Dory and I both have away carry ons that we use. Away has a new bag that's the same carry on but with like gold clasps with some fancy. Yeah, it's. Yeah, it's really pretty. And it's kind of an elevated away carry on because it has these aluminum edges in gold and it just looks kind of, as we were talking about, kind of luxe. Yeah, a little flare. A little flare for the away carry on. It's priced at 318. Probably going to be some holiday related deals. So we will link that to you as well. But it is very kind of fancy looking, so check it out.
Podcast Host Intro
I love that.
Dori Shafrir
All right, Elise, you've given me some great ideas for things to get for people. Also things that I feel like I need for myself.
Elise Hu
I know I'm. I'm same to you because now I'm sort of like, do I need to add that ninja all in one everything to my Christmas list?
Dori Shafrir
Honestly, I think you do. And as Elise said, we do have a bunch more items that we were not able to get to. So I think those will go in our newsletter.
Elise Hu
Okay.
Dori Shafrir
So look out for that. And then we'll. We'll also start a chat in the Patreon where you guys can exchange your own gift ideas and ask for gift recommendations. So look out for that as well. And thanks so much for listening. Happy gifting and we'll talk to you soon.
Elise Hu
Talk to you next time.
Dori Shafrir
Bye.
