Ah, Southern Illinois weather. In the winter months, you can freeze and sweat in the same day. It’ll be 80 one day and it might snow the next. Sometimes it rains for weeks, then it’s dry for months. Winter around here is the most unpredictable time of the year.

My annual New Year podcast. Reviewing the old year and my hopes for the new year!

Special podcast about my birthday and Christmas and all kinds of other stuff.

Talking about things I’m thankful for.

Stories, movie recommendations, local hauntings(or not) and a lot more!

One of my co-workers quickly runs away when I start to tell a story and exclaims “It’s Story Time again!” Anyways, I thought I would just tell some stories about my time away from podcasting and an update on my health. It’s all in fun for the most part. I hope you enjoy it!

I was inspired by a friends pictures of her 5 year old son going to kindergarten to do a podcast about when I entered kindergarten and how I realized that it wasn’t just a big step for me, but a big, emotional step for my mom watching her youngest child enter into school. It was an interesting time in my life, full of wonder and first time experiences. I was called “Brubby” at home but at school I was “Leonard”.

Special edition of my podcast. I’m celebrating 35 years of my job at the little convenience store on the corner of two highways. I started there on July 11, 1990 as a skinny 23 year old. It’s been way more than a job. I’ve made so many friends in all these years.

Doing a little self-introspection. Talking about my weaknesses and good qualities and how I feel about others criticism.
