A
From the beautiful Missouri Ozarks. Greetings and welcome to the Gilbert House fellowship for Sunday, July 12, 2026. I'm Derek Gilbert.
B
I am Sharon Gilbert and welcome to our home everybody. We are delighted you're here. And by the way, if you have not yet downloaded our app, please go to Gilberthouse.org app and it's available in any type of format.
A
Yes, mobile devices, iOS, Android, Amazon, Kindle, Fire. But you can also get it for the for smart TVs and set top boxes, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and so on. Just go to the app store for your device and look for the Gilbert House Ministries app.
B
It's free.
A
Yep. And you can get it there. Of course, the mobile device. The mobile app has some advantages, has some features not available on the TV app which include an audio Bible calendar of upcoming events, calendar of our Bible studies, upcoming Bible studies so you can read ahead and be prepared on Sunday mornings. But also the community feature where you can join in the conversations taking place and small but very loyal and faithful
B
little community there, very active, especially the prayer requests area.
A
Right.
B
So if you are going through something right now, and I think just about everybody is to some degree or another, you can ask for prayer. And that's what we're to do. We are to minister to one another. We are to pray for one another.
A
Yes.
B
So let us as the body of Christ behaves like we actually represent Christ. Also, if you are brand new here and you are listening to this on YouTube, please take a moment, subscribe, hit that notification bell, hit the like button and if you have any hype points left, hype us. So it gets, it moves the algorithm toward a bigger presence, will be recommended to more people. And it isn't about us being famous. That is not the point. We just would like for more people to come in as part of the body of Christ or perhaps just join the body of Christ because you've never accepted his gift of salvation before.
A
Right? And that is what matters. I have had a sneaking suspicion for some time that our YouTube channel has been somewhat de. Emphasized in the algorithms. But that's okay. The people who need to hear it are the ones who hear it.
B
That is it.
A
And you know, again, it's a way you can help us by, you know, sharing it, sharing the link to the YouTube channel, sharing links to individual videos and again the high points and the likes comments also help the algorithm.
B
Oh please do. And you know, just that's another area if you don't have the app and you don't want to download it. We understand if you are a YouTube user and that's where you hang out, then join together in the comments section.
A
Right.
B
You know, tell us where you're listening from, Perhaps you'll find out that someone else is listening from a similar area.
A
And as we are making some changes here at home, that should improve our Internet connectivity. So we will likely do more live events on YouTube in the weeks and months ahead.
B
Yeah. And we may even do those in the barn. We can do them in our office. I've sort of zhuzhed up the office a little bit. I'm gonna do some more, plus maybe even paint some wal. You know, I'm just crazy enough to do that. And we'll just say this up front. Yesterday on PID Radio, at the very end, we had teased. Or I had teased on substack, that we had a big announcement. The announcement I will make right up front.
A
Yeah.
B
And that is that we have taken our house off the real estate market. We've decided in. In. In discussion with the Lord.
A
Mm.
B
That we're going to take it off the market and remain here.
A
Yeah. After four months, we. We'd had a couple of offers, and those just didn't pan out for various reasons. So it just feels like the. The right thing to do. We've been blessed with a fair amount of equity in the home because the real estate market here in the ozarks, especially after 2020 when Covid hit, but it was already starting before then. This is a very desirable place to retire. And we've heard from people that a lot of retired military come to this area to. To live out.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
You know, the. The golden years.
B
It's wonderful.
A
One of the showings we had was retired.
B
Exactly. Exactly.
A
Yeah.
B
A wonderful couple. One of the advantages to lots of military retiring is lots of military want really good hospitals. So the hospital system in this area is really, really good. The specialists are busy, but I gotta tell you, they are. They know what they're doing.
A
Yeah. Boy. I'll tell you what. The fellow who did my aneurysm surgery, which was an aortic aneurysm. No, not aortic. It was the iliac artery, you might have said.
B
Exactly.
A
No, it was not aortic arterial aneurysm. Is. Has been hired away since then to train other vascular surgeons. And so now he's back in the east coast.
B
He.
A
And is now working as a. Essentially as a professor.
B
In fact, he designed some of the components.
A
Yes.
B
Of the surgery that you had.
A
The mesh that was used as the stent to correct the aneurysm.
B
It's like a little pair of pants.
A
Yeah. Because my aneurysm happened right where the iliac artery branches and so kind of a Y shaped area there and they needed to put like a little Y shaped stent in their little pair of pants.
B
It's amazing.
A
But anyway, the fact that he was in Springfield, Missouri.
B
Little old Springfield.
A
Yeah. Was really remarkable. And that's one of the attractions of this area. Excellent healthcare, abundant water for people who are interested in that. You know, if things really go sideways, we've got a lot of deer and turkey around here and fish and we want to head down to the lake.
B
That's true.
A
There are ways one could feed oneself or at least trade with others who are doing those things.
B
Yeah, I've got some plans next year. I think Israel may be the only trip we take. We'll have to see.
A
We'll see.
B
But the Lord's going to let us know. So, yes, that's a big announcement that we are staying put. Thank you, Lord.
A
Yes. And again, hopefully with faster Internet on the way, we've signed up for Starlink. So that should increase the speed of our Internet uploads and downloads by a factor of 10.
B
Yes, much faster.
A
Yeah. So anyway, we're excited about what the future holds here and we'll again work on some things around here that will make the place safer for me in terms of using the bathroom. You know, things like grab bars in the shower stall and things like that. So, yeah, that is the determination we've made. Well, we've got some exciting reading today as we get back into the book of Micah and we'll open with a word of prayer. Father, we thank you for bringing us together over your word. And Lord, we are living in turbulent times. But you have foreseen these times since the beginning of creation, and for your purposes you have placed us here. Now may we, as we read your word, draw comfort from the fact that the future has already been foreseen, that you have revealed it in part to your prophets. We don't see fully yet the future because the enemy also reads your word. But Lord, we know we can see enough in the prophecies that have been revealed through the likes of Micah and Isaiah and Ezekiel, Zechariah, Jesus himself, John, Daniel, that our futures are secure. The road may be difficult, but we know, Father, that the end will be glorious and will make the trials and tribulations that we suffer now seem as nothing. So may we draw comfort from these. Help us Lord, by granting us wisdom to understand your word to the best of our ability as we study. And we ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
B
Amen.
A
Well, again to timestamp things. Micah was a contemporary of Isaiah, meaning 8th century BC the time when the Assyrians were coming in and establishing dominance over the Levant. They had fought some battles in the 9th century BC against Omri, his son Ahab and a coalition of Aramean city states. They held them off the Assyrians for a while, but eventually the Assyrians were just too powerful. And in 722bc, of course, the Northern Kingdom was captured. 701bc, which we'll get to in the book of Isaiah. The 185,000 Assyrian soldiers slain in a single night while they slept outside the walls of Jerusalem. This is the time frame of the prophet Micah. Micah, chapter four. It shall come to pass in the latter days. And that means sometime in the future when Israel repents.
B
Yes, And I think that this has
A
not yet been fulfilled because Israel is still not yet repented.
B
Right.
A
And there may be some who see how pro Israel we are and how much we love the land and the people of Israel very much. Some of our best friends, I mean dear, dear friends, are Orthodox Jews. And we know that Jesus said there is no way to the Father except through him.
B
These are Orthodox Jews who also love us. They love Christians.
A
They do.
B
They love to talk about Christian prophecy. I love it.
A
Yes, yes. Because we're drawing from the same book.
B
Yes.
A
At least as far as the Old Testament prophecies are concerned. And we understand that Israel is in the land in unbelief, and yet God is not done with them. And this is one of the things we're going to draw from today's, Today's reading. The latter days, not yet a future time when the nation repents and God restores Israel in full. It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of Yahweh shall be established as the highest of the mountains. And it shall be lifted up above the hills and the people shall flow to it. And when it says highest of the mountains, it's not meaning it's going to be taller than Everest. It means it will be preeminent among all the nations. The world will come to Jerusalem to learn from and to worship God.
B
Amen to that. Just heard the dryer making its sweet little sound in the Septuagint, it says, and I like the way it puts it. And at the last days, the mountain of the Lord Yahweh shall be manifest. Everyone will see it established on the tops of the mountains and it shall be exalted above the hills and the peoples shall hasten to it. I agree with you. I don't think that it means that is necessarily the highest point, but it might be because in prophecy we see that the mountains are moved out of there. There are massive earthquakes coming.
A
That's true.
B
That are going to change the landscape.
A
Yeah. When the sixth seal is open, and we believe the first five have been opened, by the way.
B
Yeah, we do, yeah.
A
We are pre tribulation believers and there are some people who find that to be unusual.
B
I think it just makes sense.
A
Yeah. I don't think there's. Well, there's nothing in the Bible that says the seals don't open until the Rapture.
B
Exactly. But it does say that they begin to open when he arrives in heaven.
A
Right. When the Lamb who was slain appears next to the Father in heaven. And that we know from the book. Well, on my video series, just five things did one video. Just five things you should know about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. And of course those Four Horsemen are released when the first four seals are opened in Revelation 6. And now there are some who believe that when Revelation, see the door in heaven is opened and John is told come up here. And there are those who believe that that is the Rapture. And so Revelation 6 following Revelation 4 in the Bible, if you believe that the events follow sequentially, Chapter six following chapter four would mean rapture first. Then the seals opened, but the Lamb appears next to the Father. And we know from Acts and many of the epistles that Jesus was already at the right hand of the Father in the first century.
B
Exactly. But I would argue that that is a type representing the Rapture.
A
Yes.
B
Just as Enoch was a type representing the Rapture.
A
Yeah, yeah. You have to assume that the door opening and John being told come up here is the Rapture. It does not explicitly say that's the Rapture. So anyway, we're rabbit trailing here, but just sort of explaining why we're getting
B
back to what I said, where we
A
arrive at what we believed.
B
Getting back to what I said about massive earthquakes. Yes, let's just forget all of that
A
strength and from the record now, if
B
you are interested in that, watch our Unraveling Revelation series. We really dive deeply into at.
A
Yeah, you can find that at unraveling revelation tv or YouTube.comraveling revelation. And we've got a couple of playlists there. One that's newest to oldest and the other one is oldest to newest. So you can watch them in sequence.
B
In sequence. Yes, indeed. So, yeah. I think this is exciting. And it could be that the entire geography of the earth is going to be altered, because when he takes down mountains, it could be a physical mountain.
A
Oh, yes.
B
But also a spiritual mountain.
A
Right, right. And mountains were often used as symbols representing angels, just like stars in the Old Testament.
B
Oh, great mountain.
A
Oh, great mountain. Yes. Who are you? O great mountain? So, verse one again, it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of Yahweh, Beth Yahweh, shall be established as the highest of the mountains. And it should be lifted up above all, lifted up above the hills, and peoples shall flow to it. And many nations shall come and say, come, let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.
B
You know, going. First of all, this is, come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord. I love that. And I am. Wouldn't be at all surprised if there isn't a song.
A
Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure there is.
B
But getting into this. And to the house of the God of Jacob.
A
Yes.
B
Not the God of. English, British, Israelism. Not the God of some group that replaced Jacob.
A
Not the God of Muhammad.
B
Exactly. Because Jacob is Israel.
A
Yes, exactly. Yeah. And I just want to point out one other thing here, and this is only because a very prominent podcaster has made a very public statement about this particular word. The word translated nations. The Hebrew word translated into English as nations is goyim. There are those now on the Internet who are claiming that goyim is the Hebrew word for cattle.
B
No, it isn't.
A
I know, I know. And it is being used by some who are very anti Israel, anti Jew right now. I don't need to name any names, but that they believe that the word is a pejorative and that if you're a good little goy, you are basically serving the Jews because the Jews control the world. Which, of course, is.
B
It makes no sense.
A
It makes no sense. But the word literally means nations. It literally. That is the definition of the word. It has always meant nations. It has never meant cattle. There are Hebrew words for cattle and livestock and bulls and things like that. Goyim is not one of them.
B
It was translated. Let me look in the Greek for the Septuagint, but I think it was translated into ethnos.
A
Yes, it is.
B
See, there you go.
A
So yeah. It is not.
B
It just means tribes, nations.
A
It does not now, nor has it ever meant cattle. So just in case you run across that on social media.
B
Yeah.
A
And somebody tries to tell you where you're being a good little guy. Okay. This is the idea of somebody who is anti Semitic thinking that the word is used by Jews as a pejorative. It is not.
B
It is not.
A
Come, let us go up to the. Many nations shall come. Many goyim shall come and say. Come, let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.
B
What? What? What?
A
That was verse two.
B
Sorry, I moved down my. Okay.
A
Verse three. Now, he shall. He shall judge between many peoples. And that word there is ami as that's the reason Ammon was. Basically means relatives, kinsmen, so forth.
B
Yes. Am Yisrael High means the people of Israel live.
A
Yeah. He shall judge between many peoples and shall decide disputes for strong nations. Again, that word goyim, far away. And they shall. We've all heard this verse. They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation. Neither shall they learn war anymore.
B
A couple of things. One is that they're now farming.
A
Yeah.
B
They've taken all of the implements of war and they have reused them. Repurposed to feed themselves.
A
Right.
B
To go back to an agrarian society. I would argue that the idea of cities, especially city states.
A
Yeah.
B
Is not the way the Lord would have had us live.
A
No, I agree with that. In fact, I've written about that. I think maybe going back to my first book, the great inception, about how the kingdom of Nimrod, which was the. The city state of Uruk, today we spell it Iraq. I R A Q. But U R, U K in the Bible is E R E C H. Same name was a deliberate violation of God's original intent for us to. Well, like as the next verse says. Verse 4. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree. And no one shall make them afraid for the mouth of Yahweh of hosts. Yahweh of armies has spoken. People gathered in cities behind walls because of war. When you don't have war. And you see this in the archaeology of Israel, the Caucolithic period, the Copper Age, people lived in small communities, but they didn't Start building walls and massive fortifications until the Bronze Age. In the Bronze Age, which followed what scholars call the Uruk period in Mesopotamia, which is roughly about 3,900 to 3,100 BC. That was when the, the Uruk civilization, which dominated the Fertile Crescent, basically the land between the Tigris and the Euphrates, from the Persian Gulf all the way to the mountains of Turkey, they had outposts in Turkey. When that collapsed, things started becoming more warlike. And I think it was as a result of not just what Nimrod had taught, because they conquered violently based on the archaeology they found at a site in northern Syria called Hamilcar, the Aruk. And they could tell this by pottery. An army from Uruk captured the city and they found thousands of little clay bullets flung from slings. Yeah. And you can shoot those things at a couple hundred miles per hour, which could put a dent in somebody's skull. And clay cannonballs too, and bigger slings with, you know, softball sized clay missiles that they used. So war was taught by a rook and Nimrod or you know, the kings that, that were part of that, that royal dynasty. And after that, when they discovered bronze, of course now, now we've got better weapons than copper because our swords will just, you know, chop theirs right in half and et cetera. It became more and more warlike.
B
I think that pre flood there were cities and that the giants probably ruled some of these cities along with their daddies. And so it was a return to that pre flood era.
A
I think you're right.
B
But it's obvious that war was taught to human beings pre flood. Yeah, it was Azazel according to book
A
of first Enoch, according to the book
B
of first Enoch, who taught that activity and taught the making of, of metals that were hard enough to create swords and not plowshares. Yeah, Swords and other implements of war. I think what we're seeing here is like I say a number of things. The end to cities, but also the end of war and the end of Azazel. The end of Azazel's activity. Much like in the end of the book of Revelation, we see. And the sea is no more. Yeah, it's that Tiamat character from Genesis.
A
Leviathan. Right.
B
Ancient chaos monster who is no longer there. I think here we're seeing the end to Azazel.
A
Yeah. A reversal of what the watchers had taught.
B
Yes.
A
Forbidden knowledge.
B
But also notice in verse four, and I'm reading from them, Septuagint. And everyone shall rest under his vine and everyone under his fig tree. And there shall none be to be none to alarm them. For the mouth of the Lord Almighty has spoken these words. This is Yahweh's, the version of Yahweh that we relate to the best. This is Yeshua. This is the word. And when Jesus comes back, how does he slay them? With the sword of his mouth. It's his word.
A
Yeah.
B
He speaks and it happens. He spoke and everything was created.
A
Yeah.
B
The word of Yahweh.
A
Yeah. This is what's so cool. And this is why we read these verses aloud, why we do this study this way. Because when we're reading it aloud, things suddenly become obvious that you may skip over when you're just reading it silently to yourself, and especially when you're reading it in a group and somebody can hold up a hand and say, hey, wait a minute, did you. Did you notice this?
B
And you can do this in your family. Get your kids and your grandkids and have them read it aloud. Take turns.
A
Yeah.
B
And then, you know, did you. Anybody notice anything cool here? Or in a small group from your church or in a Bible study, as you say? And many of you I know don't belong to a formal church setting, but you can have Bible study in your home.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
I used to go to like five, five or six different Bible studies a week when I lived in Nebraska. I was a farmer's wood. This is my ex husband. I was married before, as was Derek. And we farmed and there wasn't a whole lot else to do. I cooked for the guys and you know, we also had a cow calf operation. So I was mainly the gal who did mowed the lawn and occasionally would milk the cow and I would cook. So the rest of my time, all of us wives got together and did Bible studies and we had a ball. We loved studying various things. Yeah. So do this.
A
Yeah. And you just start to realize how layered and rich scripture is. You'll never get to the bottom.
B
You will never do it.
A
Verse 4 Again. But they shall sit, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one shall make them afraid. For the mouth of Yahweh of hosts has spoken. For all the peoples walk, each in the name of its God. Small G God. But we will walk in the name of Yahweh, our God, forever and ever.
B
Hallelujah. Because the we Micah is referring to his people, the house of Jacob.
A
Yeah. This is like Joshua saying, choose this day whom you will serve. The gods your father served in the land beyond the river, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh.
B
And we have been grafted into this tree.
A
Yes.
B
We have been adopted into this family. We. This is us, too. But we. That's us too. Right. If you've got a paper Bible, then write in there. That's us, too. This includes Christians grafted in. Hallelujah.
A
And yeah. What he's saying, what Micah is saying here. At the end of the age, all the nations will worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
B
All those who are left.
A
Yes.
B
Because there will be a white throne judgment that you don't want to be at.
A
Right. Verse 6. In that day, this is a reference to the day of the Lord. The day of Yahweh, the day of judgment. Armageddon in that day declares Yahweh. I will assemble the lame and gather those who've been driven away and those whom I have afflicted and the lame. I will make the remnant and those who were cast off, a strong nation. And Yahweh will reign over them in Mount Zion from this time forth and forevermore.
B
Hallelujah. This is it. The war for Mount Zion.
A
Yes.
B
Has been going on since Adam was kicked out of Eden.
A
Yes, absolutely. And it's.
B
And possibly even before.
A
Kind of the point of my forthcoming book. Books. I should.
B
Yeah. There will be at least two, probably three.
A
Yeah. Well. And you. O tower of the flock, Hill of the daughter of Zion.
B
Oh, hold on. The Septuagint says, and thou, dark tower of the flock.
A
Oh, Now, interesting. Lexum renders it dry. Tower of a flock.
B
That's interesting. Either one is interesting. And you know what, Mike? The late Michael Heiser always said, if it's weird. Look, dark tower is weird.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
It's important. So what does it mean here?
A
The Greek word is ahmodes, which means arid or dry. Huh. But, yeah, dark tower is very interesting.
B
You. Well, let me just say this, that when you and I have been leading tours, we've taken tours a couple of times to Argaman, which is a very dry, very hot region.
A
Yeah.
B
That is one of the sites for the sandal shaped enclosure, the footprint of God. And there is a stone tower, and I'm not sure who built it, but it's this round. Reminds me a bit of Sardinia, where you would see those beehives. Yeah. And anytime someone is struggling, I just say, come on, let's all go over there. So I've led a number of people into that cool dark tower as a Refuge. I do not know if this has anything to do with that.
A
Well, the tower of the flock and hill of the daughter of Zion would be a reference to Jerusalem.
B
There you go.
A
Yeah. And you, O tower of the flock, hill of the daughter of Zion, to you shall it come. The former dominion shall come. Kingship for the daughter of Jerusalem.
B
You know, that's really interesting Septuagint I'm going to read, and I just really want to wrap my head around this verse. And thou, dark tower of the flock, or dry daughter of Zion, on the dominion shall come in. Come and enter in even the first kingdom from Babylon to the daughter of Jerusalem. What does the lexum say there?
A
Very similar to. You will come and will enter the first ruler. A kingdom out of Babylon. A kingdom out of Babylon for the daughter of Jerusalem.
B
Well, out of Babylon may not mean that it's created out of Babylon. It may mean that you're removed, restored from. Yeah, exactly.
A
Return from Babylon.
B
Let's face it, Babylon is going to fall.
A
Yeah.
B
So Babylon is gone and you are. We are now children of Jerusalem.
A
The Masoretic text on which our English translations.
B
It was just a hummingbird at the kitchen window. Hey, they have nectar. I just put fresh nectar out there.
A
The former dominion shall come instead of a kingdom out of Babylon. Remembering that the Masoretic text was completed by the year 900 AD. So, you know, you're talking the time of the Anglo Saxon kingdoms in England before the Norman invasion of 1066. But Jews had been scattered throughout Europe and Mesopotamia since the 2nd century AD, early 2nd century after the Bar Kofa rebellion. So a specific reference to a kingdom out of Babylon may not have been as relevant by the 10th century AD as it would have been in the third century BC.
B
Oh, exactly.
A
Yeah.
B
But also, daughter of Zion, on thee the dominion shall come. Now, I'm not a Dominionist or a Kingdom now person. However, Adam was told to take dominion and instead he handed it over to Satan.
A
Yep.
B
And now we get it back. Because of Jesus, because of Yeshua.
A
And I. I think specifically these. These references here are again still referring to a future restoration of the Kingdom of Israel. Restoration to the glory days of David and Solomon. The new English translation, the Net Bible, renders it this way. As for you, Watchtower, for the flock fortress of daughter Zion, your former dominion will be restored. Which is kind of what the. No, it's exactly what the apostles were asking in Acts, chapter one.
B
Are you going to return? Yes, the kingdom now. Exactly. And that's. I really do think that this is if you've ever read Tim Albarino's book, Birthright. Birthright, Great book. His. His thesis is that Adam was created to be the steward of this planet, of this Earth, the king, if you will. Yeah, the. The representative of the Creator on Earth. And instead he handed it over to Satan.
A
Yes.
B
Yeshua, as the second Adam, fully human. And that's why it's so important. Fully human, fully divine. Took it back, and it is not yet. My kingdom is not of this earth, he said to Pilate, and he is coming, and he will reign as king, as the fulfillment, the true Adam, if you will, the second Adam. So only a full human can sit on that throne because it was created for a full human.
A
Right.
B
That's why all of the Nephilim, whatever they were doing, messing around. Okay, if we get to 90% human, can we take it over? Is that a good fit? No, that doesn't work. Has to be fully human. So this is our king.
A
Yes.
B
Returning the dominion to humans.
A
So the dual meaning here.
B
Yeah.
A
It's not just the kingdom coming back to Israel, but it is dominion of Earth being returned to its rightful ruler.
B
Yes.
A
Yeah. Verse 9. Now, why do you cry aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished?
B
Wonderful counselor.
A
Wonderful counselor. In the book of Nahum, that pain seized you like a woman in labor. Writhe and groan, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor. For now you shall go out from the city and dwell in the open country. You shall go to Babylon. Again, bear in mind, this is about 125 years at least before the Babylonian captivity. So Micah is prophesying this and even beyond that again, the dispersal after the Diaspora.
B
Yes.
A
Emperor hadrian in the second century A.D. yeah. You shall go to Babylon. There you shall be rescued. There Yahweh will redeem you from the hands of your enemies. From the hand of your enemies.
B
So those who say that there is no in gathering of Jews back to Israel, I would say that this says, yeah, there is.
A
Yeah, yeah, and we'll see it again. We get into the book of Ezekiel and Ezekiel, chapters 36 and 37, and a bunch of chapters later in Isaiah.
B
I love these next verses, verse 11.
A
Now many. Now many nations are assembled against you, saying, let her be defiled and let our eyes gaze upon Zion. But they do not know the thoughts of Yahweh. They do not understand his plan that he has gathered them as sheaves to the threshing floor.
B
I know now, so many things in this one is that this is a picture of armageddon yes. All of the nations of the earth coming against the Lord.
A
Right. We'll see this in Joel, chapters two and three. Zechariah 12, Zechariah 14.
B
Oh, yes. Oh, yes. And the idea of forming all of the nations, treating them as if they are sheaves on a threshing floor. That is a threshing floor.
A
Yes.
B
Mount Zion is. It was the threshing floor of Irana,
A
where the destroyer manifested in the air. Israel.
B
Exactly. And he's coming for them.
A
Yeah, it's a. It's like that Kenny Rogers song, Coward of the County. They're all, you know, he walks in and they're all in the. The bar there, and they're laughing at him, and then he turns and locks the door.
B
Yeah, I know it. I love it.
A
That's exactly what's happening here. They do not know the thoughts of Yahweh. They do not understand his plan that he has gathered them as sheaves to the threshing floor and threat. The threshing is a fairly violent process. Where you've got.
B
Well, just read the next verse.
A
Yeah. Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion. For I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze. You shall beat in pieces many peoples and shall devote their gain to Yahweh, their wealth to the Lord of the whole earth.
B
Yes. Amen.
A
I had not really connected these verses to Armageddon. It's. It's one of those sections just kind of read over. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Wait a minute. Wait a minute.
B
Oh, but wait, there's more. Yeah. In the Septuagint, I just want to emphasize a couple of things. Arise and thresh them, O daughter of Zion. For I will make thine horns iron, and I will make thine hooves brass. And thou shalt utterly destroy many nations and shall consecrate. Consecrate their abundance to the Lord and their strength to the Lord of all the earth. Now, this is a picture of a bull threshing.
A
Yes.
B
This is not a coincidence. That is using bull imagery.
A
Yes. The. And the hooves of the ox. The bull would trample on the sheaves to dislodge the grain.
B
Yes. But it's more than that. Bull.
A
Yes.
B
L. Yes. This is taking the imagery used for the entity known as L, the Canaanite Shimiaza.
A
Right.
B
The leader of the Watchers.
A
Yes.
B
That bull imagery. And using that imagery to beat them down.
A
Yeah.
B
Twist.
A
The nations that will come against Israel. And given that the nations closest to Israel are all predominantly Muslim, and as I Argue, I believe, that the entity known as Shimyaza or El or Dagon or Molech is Allah. Yeah. This is, again, another reversal of that.
B
Don't you love it?
A
Yeah, yeah. Stand in, cheer moment.
B
Oh, yeah. So on to Micah 5.
A
On the. Micah 5. Yes. I think we'll just have time to get through it now, maybe.
B
Now, muster your troops, O daughter of troops. Siege is laid upon us. With a rod, they strike the judge of Israel on the cheek. Oh, that's interesting.
A
Septuagint's a little different. Now, the daughter of Zion, that. That's added in the Brenton Septuagint, Lexham does not interpolate that the of Zion. Now, the daughter will be stopped by a barrier or be completely hedged in, says Brenton.
B
Yes, Siege is laid against us.
A
Yes. He has arranged a seat. Laid a siege against us, or he arranged a siege against you. With a rod, he will strike upon the cheek, the gate of Israel.
B
Well, that. That kind of makes sense, because the judgment, a judge would sit at the gate.
A
Yeah.
B
And that's a liminal barrier where you are judged. Either you get to come in or you don't. But also in the first part of this, where it says, muster your troops, O daughter of troops. In the esv, the alternate translation there is O city of troops, which would go along with the idea of a gate being struck.
A
The new English translation, the Net Bible, renders it this way. But now, slash yourself, daughter surrounded by soldiers.
B
Well, that's entirely different.
A
Yeah, yeah. Where do they get that?
B
Don't know.
A
The Hebrew verb gadad can be translated slash yourself or gather in troops. A number of English translations are based on the latter reading. Slashing one's body was a form of
B
mourning, but also it was done by the BAAL priests.
A
Exactly. Yeah.
B
They would furrow their chests.
A
Right. That was. But. But in. In a wider sense, in the ancient near east, just when you were mourning, you would. You would cut yourself. Slash yourself, daughter surrounded by soldiers. The Hebrew literally reads daughter of a troop of warriors. But the image, according to the study notes here from the Net Bible, is an image of the city of Jerusalem under siege. We are besieged. With a scepter, they strike Israel's ruler or the judge of Israel on the side of his face.
B
It's interesting. In the Hebrew, it says for muster yourselves in troops, the word there is gadad. But then when it's daughter of troops, it's gadud.
A
Hmm. Yeah. It's interesting. Even the word info here in the Logos Bible software, when you look at that verb, godaddy. It means to make incisions upon oneself. And yet they translated, muster your troops, O daughter of troops, instead of slash yourself or, you know, mourn because we're under siege.
B
Verse two. This is familiar.
A
Yes.
B
But you, O Bethlehem Ephratah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me, one who is to be the ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from old. From ancient days.
A
Yeah.
B
Now, going back to verse one, they're using a rod. This is a symbol of authority and royalty.
A
Bethlehem Ephratah is a village, very small village in the time of Micah, which is why it says, too little to be counted among the. Too little to be among the clans of Judah. When all the major cities in the territory of Judah were listed, Bethlehem was not one of them because it was just a small village. But of course, that's where Jesus was born. This is a messianic prophecy.
B
Exactly. Oh, I love this so much.
A
This coming fourth is from of old, from ancient days. Septuagint reads, his goings out are from the beginning, from the days of eternity.
B
Yes. It was always determined.
A
Yes.
B
That he would do this. And I'll go back again to Paradise Lost when Satan and his minions are moaning the fact that they couldn't read Yahweh's thoughts.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
The very thing we see in chapter four. They didn't know his thoughts. Thoughts. He hid things from us.
A
Yeah.
B
He. That wasn't fair.
A
Not fair.
B
Yeah. But you owe Bethlehem. Bethlehem Ephratah, you who are too little to be among the clans of Judah. For you, from you shall come forth for me, one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from. Of old, from ancient days. Therefore, he shall give them up until the time when she who is in labor shall have given. She who is in labor has given birth. Then the rest of his brothers shall return to the people of Israel. Now, I want to continue with the next verse in a second, but if you go back to chapter four, you've got Israel pictured as a woman in labor.
A
Mm.
B
And then we get to chapter five. Again, there were no chapter divisions. Get back to chapter five, and we get this picture of a birth. Therefore, he shall give them up until the time when she who is in labor has given birth. Then the rest of his brothers shall return to the people of Israel. And he shall stand and shepherd his flock the strength of Yahweh in the majesty of the name of Yahweh, his God.
A
He shall give them up until the time when she who is in labor has given birth, Yahweh abandons the Israelites. Until the time of their punishment, their suffering is ended.
B
But I would say this is a couple of things. One is the literal birth of Christ.
A
Yes.
B
The little, little literal birth of Messiah, who is pictured as the good shepherd.
A
Yeah.
B
In Psalm 23, it says, Yahweh is my shepherd. Christ holds the implements of a shepherd. He is Yahweh. So if you doubt that those. There is this heresy being taught that Yahweh is essentially Satan.
A
Yeah.
B
And Jesus is an entirely different thing.
A
That's a very old.
B
I know.
A
Second century.
B
Come back around. It's. It. No, it's bad.
A
Cycled back around.
B
Yeah, it has.
A
But. Yeah. This section right here of Micah, chapter five was the Gospel of Matthew. Drew on these verses to say, this has been fulfilled in Jesus.
B
Yep. And I would say you get an echo of that in the last days.
A
Right, Right.
B
And Jesus himself says that these signs will be like a woman in travail.
A
Right. And the Jews, the tribe of Judah, from whom Jesus was, you know, came forth, will return in those days just when they need him most.
B
Amen. You got it. And he shall stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of Yahweh. In the majesty of the name Hashem. It's another name of Christ. In the majesty of the name of Yahweh, his God. Now, this does not mean that Jesus worships the Yahweh his God.
A
Right.
B
It's. It can. It can trip people up. Don't let it. And they shall dwell secure. For now he shall be great to the ends of the earth. Jesus will reign over the entire earth. Hallelujah. And he shall be their peace. I used to sing that song. He is our peace. Wonderful song. When the Assyrian comes into our land and treads in our palaces, when then we will raise against him seven shepherds and eight princes of men. What is that about?
A
Well, there are some Bible prophecy teachers who will look at this and say, well, the Assyrian is the Antichrist. The difficulty in rendering it that way is that the definite article, the in Hebrew, which is the Hebrew word, ha. Ashur would be the Assyrian. The definite article, the is not there. In the Septuagint, it says, when Assyria comes upon your land and when he treads upon your territory, except then seven shepherds will rise up against him and eight stings of people or eight attacks of men. In the Brenton, except
B
in the Hebrew it says Ki Assur.
A
Right.
B
When Asshur.
A
Right.
B
This is the name of an entity.
A
It's the name of the entity, the difficulty. And I wrote about this in the second coming of Saturn, because Asshur was the name of the chief deity of the Assyrians, the equivalent of Babylonian and Sumerian, Enlil, Elil in the Akkadian, El of the Canaanites, Milcom of the Ammonites, Molech of the Hebrews, Dagon of the Philistines, Kronos of the Greek, Saturn of the Romans. Same entity, just different name. So the problem with Ashur is that it was not only the name of their chief deity, it was the name of their country.
B
Yes.
A
And it was the name of their capital city. So you have to look at context. Are we talking about Assyria comes into our land and treads in our palaces. Is it a reference to the entity Ashur? In other words, Enlil, Molech, El Dagon, etc. I argued that you could take it that way, prophetically, that a day is coming. Because this entity, who was also Shemyaza, the leader of the Genesis 6 rebellion, thus being the. The angel of the bottomless pit, the king of the. The Titans, the. The. The one who led the watchers who rebelled, is also Abaddon or Apollyon.
B
He gets out for five months.
A
Gets out for five months. And when he comes into our land in the last days and treads in our palaces, this is an already, but not yet, because again, Micah was prophesying at the time that Assyria was coming into their land and conquered the northern kingdom of Israel in 722 BC and 20 years later, very nearly took Jerusalem. But there is a day coming when Asshur, the entity, gets out for five months, Shemyaza, Abaddon, Apollyon. And sorry, this. This autoimmune thing puts gunk on my vocal cords, and if I don't cough it out and I try to breathe it back in and it's, no, you don't want that. No. And I realize it sounds gross, so, my. Again, my apologies. You just sound really gravelly, like Lance Henriksen. Yeah, yeah. I've always wondered, though, why the translators decided to insert the definite article, the. The Assyrian. Because that's not in the Hebrew. Maybe it's to distinguish it from Ashur, the entity or the city of Ashur. But I think the best way to take it is the already but not yet Assyria. Yes, they are coming into our land and going to tread in our palaces, but there's also a last days fulfillment of this yet to come. Ashur Slash Abaddon. Apollyon. It. Yeah. In verse six, too, where it says the Assyrian. Again, it is not ha. Ashur. It is just Ashur.
B
Yes, just Ashur.
A
And there are other places which we will see in Isaiah 14 when we get to it, where it also is rendered the Assyrian in the ESV in most English translations without the definite article being there.
B
I have a question for you.
A
Yes, ma'.
B
Am. In the Septuagint, it also says the Assyrian.
A
Does not.
B
It does in the Brenton.
A
And she shall have peace when Asher shall come into your land. Okay. In verse 6. And then shall tend the Assyrian with a sword.
B
Yeah,
A
but not in the Lexim Septuagint. And they will shepherd Assyria with a sword.
B
I was just wondering if in the Greek it had ho, which is the.
A
I will have to open the full version on my. Oh, no, we don't want that recording.
B
There may be moths coming out of that. Don't do that. Well, we'll just. We'll. We will. We'll dig into that and maybe talk about that next time.
A
Yeah, I don't think so. I don't think it's there. Yeah, but I can. I can look here and just take a second.
B
No, that's okay. I. I will just continue reading.
A
I think it's just a translator's choice.
B
Yeah, probably. Verse 5. And he shall be their peace. When the Assyrian comes into our land and treads in our palaces, then we will raise against him seven shepherds and eight princes of men.
A
Yeah. I wonder why the Lexim renders it eight stings of people means to bite or to sting.
B
They shall shepherd the land of Assyria with the sword and the land of Nimrod at its entrances. And he shall deliver us from the Assyrian when he comes into our land and. And treads within our border. Remember, these are things that actually did happen. Yeah, but they are. They're pictures of what will happen.
A
Yeah.
B
And I think at that point, it will be ashore.
A
Yeah. And to clarify, we do not believe whether it's Ashur the entity or Assyria the people. And again, I think the end times fulfillment would be assure the entity that is not the Antichrist. No, no. He is the destroyer. Abaddon. Apollyon was not the Antichrist. The Antichrist is the beast who emerges from the sea. In other words, Leviathan, chaos, separate entity.
B
And I think he's in many ways, under the control of Satan. Yeah, because he's trying to sit on that throne, the one that's created for a full human.
A
And in Matthew 12. Jesus says Satan has a kingdom, so presumably. But yeah, presumably, he is leading this end times rebellion.
B
Satan can't technically fulfill the role as king.
A
Right.
B
He just sort of think of him as standing by the throne. Yeah, sure wish I had a full human I could control and put on this throne.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
That day's coming. Verse 7. Then the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples, like dew from Yahweh, like showers on the grass, which delay not for a man, nor wait for the children of man. And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations. This is true in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion amongst the flocks of sheep, which when it goes through, treads down and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver. I don't think that that aspect of this has happened yet.
A
No.
B
Your hand shall be lifted up over your adversaries, and all your enemies shall be cut off. And in that day declares Yahweh, I will cut off your horses from you, and I will destroy your chariots. Implements of war gone. And I will cut off the cities from your land and throw down all your strongholds. And I will cut off sorceries from your land. And you shall no more. You shall have no more tellers of fortunes. And I will cut off your carved images and your pillars from among you. And you shall bow down no more to the work of your hands. And I will root out your Asherah images from among you and destroy your cities. And in anger and wrath, I will execute vengeance on the nations that did not obey. Bad things are coming, but it leads to restoration and a king in Jerusalem.
A
Yep. Sounds like a time of trial, time of.
B
Not fun, but not at all. By the way, the name Asherah I was recently doing. You know how I've talked about loving etymology? I just love words and how they change from tribe to tribe as they're carried along. And they'll get changed a bit. And I was doing research on Duchar Shara, lord of the Shara mountains around Petra. And sure enough, etymologically, Shara is related to Asshur and Ashura and Sharia.
A
Oh. Oh, okay. Interesting. What is the actual meaning of the word of Sharia or the root behind it? Shara. That whole.
B
I knew you'd ask me that, and I don't have that in front of
A
me concept, the matrix of ideas. There.
B
Let me just look that up really quickly. Let's see. Of course. So take me a second.
A
Well, I could dive In Jishara is,
B
by the way, has been linked to. To Zeus. Yeah. When the Greeks came through and conquered Petra, they equated, syncretized him into the. Synchronized him into Zeus.
A
I think I reached that same conclusion in Bad Moon Rising because I wrote about the original Kaaba being at Petra. Based on the work of a Canadian historian by the name of Dan Gibson. Dushara was most likely the continuation of a deity worshiped there until the time of Muhammad in the seventh century A.D. under the name Hubal, which just means the Baal or the Lord. And I believe that I connected that to the. The Edomite national God. The national God of Edom was called Kaos. Qaus was depicted as an archer, but the bow representing not plague, as with Reshef Apollo, but the rainbow. In other words, just another variant of the storm God Hadad or baal. BAAL for you scholars out there. Just so you know, we know how to say it. Got a question here we could dive into while you're looking or.
B
Sorry, I'm still not finding it. Oh, here it is. It's a derivative of wind. Now, I apologize that I don't have all of them.
A
Sorry, I didn't.
B
Yeah, you asked me something that I didn't have, and I remembered looking it up one morning, but, you know.
A
Yeah, you'd explained it one morning, and I thought that was very interesting, but I'd forgotten specifically what the. The connection was. But, yeah, it's interesting because that area, Dushara, where. Dushara was the principal deity of the. The Nabataean Arabs.
B
Oh, yeah, now I remember it. Okay. Sharia, etymologically linked to Shara.
A
Yes.
B
Means the path to water. Okay, now think about it. If we're right about Petra being Mount Sinai.
A
Yeah. And the original Kaaba and the place
B
where Moses struck the rock and it cracked open and a river came out.
A
Right.
B
So it is the path to water. Literally.
A
Yeah.
B
You walk through the Sikh, and it is the path to water.
A
So figuratively speaking, Sharia law would be the path to. To living water? In a sense, yeah.
B
Yes.
A
Well, we've already got living water through Jesus.
B
We do. This is the false path.
A
Yeah.
B
Shimyaza, whatever you want to call him, whatever name he takes, Allah. He is the false version. He. All of these deities, they lie. They lie. They claim that they're. The Zeus claims that he, you know, is the head of the pantheon, and Uranus, you know, was one of the creator deities, the primordial father of all the earth. Liars.
A
Yeah, absolutely.
B
Lying liars. That lie.
A
Yeah. Inanna Ishtar. Well, we've got a question here which I think is. It's not strictly biblical, but I think it's an interesting question nonetheless. It's from Leon who asks. Hi, Derek, I have a kind of controversial question. The term Ashkenazi Jew, is that a real term describing Jews from Russia and Germany or just another conspiracy insult to the inhabitants of current day Israel? Started hearing it on news reports and YouTube videos on present day Israel. It is in fact a term that describes Jews from Europe, predominantly Germany, but also Poland and some of the other Eastern European nations, the Baltic states, many
B
who were forced out of their homes during the pogroms.
A
Exactly. So yes, Ashkenazi Jews would be those who come from that part of the world. You've also got Sephardic Jews who settled in southern Spain and lived there for hundreds and hundreds of years until they were forced out by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella in 1492. Yeah, 1492, right, yeah. Same year the Columbus sailed. And it wasn't because they were just going after Jews, they were actually expelling the Muslims, but because they considered the Jews to be Muslim adjacent, in other words, non Christian. The Jews were sort of caught up in all of that. Spain would have been better off if they'd left the Jews, but they'd gotten tired of 700 years of being under the rule, more or less of Muslims. It took seven centuries for the Reconquista and finally kicked the Muslims out. Because Muslims would then, when they had been defeated in battle, would claim then to become Christian, would even get baptized. But under the doctrine of Taqiyyah, which is lying to unbelievers, they could do that without being unfaithful to Allah. And then when the time was right, they would rise up and then they would murder their Christian neighbors. And then the whole process would have to start over again. Okay, now we got to go to war again against the Muslims and we got to. So finally Ferdinand and Isabella just said, all y' all just get out. And sadly the Jews got caught up in it. But those are the Sephardic Jews from southern Spain. And then you've got the Mizrahi Jews from the Middle East, Jews who never left Babylon until the rise of these. Yeah, yeah, well, Egyptian Jews, but also further east, those who still remained in Mesopotamia. Mesopotamia, in what is now Iran and Iraq. And most of those didn't return to. Well, they didn't leave until after Israel became a state. And suddenly all the Arab states were kicking out the Jews that were Left the Jews in Iran didn't get kicked out, really, until 79 in the Islamic revolution. But no, Ashkenazi Jew is a real thing. I can understand where the question is coming from because there's a claim that Ashkenazi Jews are not the real Jews. They're actually Khazarians, which are Turkic people from Central Asia. That has been debunked by historians and peer reviewed genetic research showing the origins of Ashkenazi Jews is in the Middle east, not in Central Asia.
B
So.
A
Yeah. So, Leon, not a controversial question, really. Just I understand where it's coming from and it's one of the things that I will address in War of The Watchers, book two, which will be coming out, God willing, in 2027. I just really need to get off the Schneid and start making some progress with that. So what do we got coming up? We got a couple of conferences.
B
We do. We got a couple of flies in here, too. The really bugging me.
A
Yeah. One representing, you know, each of the two conferences.
B
What we're going to be in Brookville, Ohio, coming up soon.
A
The 26th, 24th and 25th.
B
Okay, 26. Yes, yes, yes. Of July of 2026. We are going to be there just in another week or so.
A
Right. So that is going to be a. A great gathering. I need to update our little calendar in the app here because I see I've still got John Haller. Pray for John Haller.
B
Please do.
A
He damaged his Achilles heel and had to have surgery on it. So now he's in the process of his Achilles tendon. Achilles tendon has been surgically repaired, but he can't put any weight on it for a while. So traveling to the conference and trying to deliver a conference press meeting just beyond his ability right now. But in his place, Dr. J.B. hickson and Mark Musser, both of whom I have met. Mark was a guest of my podcast years ago. He wrote a really good book about how the National Socialist Party of Germany in 1930, very, very green. The book was called Nazi Oaks.
B
Oh, yes, I remember that. We've got that.
A
You've got a copy of the book.
B
Yes, we do.
A
Yeah. So he will be there. So we get to meet him face to face for the first time. J.B. hickson. We met at a Prophecy Watchers conference not too long ago and I've been a guest on his podcast a few times. Carl Gallups, Carl Tykrib, Dr. Greg Reed, Tom Hughes, Olivia Melnick, and of course, Dr. Mike Spalding. And if you can't Be there in person. You can sign up for streaming video and Pastor Neil Peterson's team there. Their media team is really excellent. So the production values on the video feed will be, will be great.
B
They're really, really good. And then of course a couple of weeks after that we're going to be
A
doing go therefore conference.com just want to give you the link go therefore conference.com
B
youm can also just go to our website gilberthouse.org calendar.
A
Yep.
B
And you will find everything there. Also the calendar button at the bottom of the app. You'll see there you can find all that info too. They'll even give you a map of showing you how to get there.
A
Absolutely. It's a really powerful little, little app there.
B
It is amazing. I'll tell you what, the sub slash people, they do a great job. Then a couple of weeks after that we're going to be in Springfield, Missouri at the Oasis Hotel and Conference center.
A
Yeah, that's August 7th through 9th.
B
It's going to be a whole, whole lot of fun. And we got a couple is going to be speaking. Vicki Joy Anderson is going to be speaking. Tracy Tennant is going to be speaking. Derek Gilbert is going to be speaking. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. And I'll probably, you know, I, I have a presentation that if it doesn't take the entire time I will just give my extra to Derek because he'll need it.
A
We, we have been scheduled back to back on Saturday mornings. So breakfast, then Sharon, then a break, then me, then lunch. And I will endeavor not to cut into anybody's lunchtime. But in fact I think my presentation this year looks like it's going to be an hour. So I've managed to. Yeah, I have a bad habit of not being able to do anything in less than 90 minutes but I think this one is a good length. Larry Ragland will be there. David Paxton and a couple of several actually host a very popular podcast. Tony Merkel of the Professionals, John Pounders of Now youw See tv. In fact I got a text from him last night. Jeanne Kerr just connected us via text. So I need to respond to John. He hosts now youw See TV Dave Hodges of the Common Sense Show. But I was going to say a couple of ways we can save you money at this conference. Promo code GILBERT20 if you can sign and you got to do it quickly because I think they're down to at this point let fewer than 40 in person seats still available. I mean fire code. You can only have so many people in the room and I think we're within 40 of filling the room, which is great. Look forward to having a great turnout there. Because the fellowship, when you get a full room and get to talking with other people, it's really wonderful. But Gilbert2.0 saves you $20 on in person registration. Per in person registration. But also because it's close enough for us to drive to, we'll be bringing lots and lots of DVDs and T shirts and stuff.
B
And deep discounts, Right? Really deep discounts.
A
We need to reduce the inventory we've been keeping out in the barn.
B
Yep. We would really like to do that. We may or may not reopen our store, but we would love to offer these to all of you at a very deep discount. So if you're there in person, you will get to come to our table and save a whole bunch of money. Also, you can stream it.
A
Yes, yes. This will also be available for video streaming, and that right now is $59 for the video stream. But if you wait until the conference opens on August 7th, it goes up to $79. So do sign up early and save you $20 on that as well. But again, remember, if you can be there in person, remember that promo code, Gilbert 20.
B
And now the OG report.
A
Yeah, we're just about. Gosh, just almost a week away.
B
A week from today, we drive up to Springfield for. We're just going to stay overnight because you have to be there crazy early in the morning on Monday.
A
Yeah.
B
And we live an hour or so away from Springfield, so we drive up there next Sunday afternoon.
A
Yeah. There's a hotel that's right across the street from the hotel or from the hospital where I will begin two days of intravenous immunoglobulin or IVIG infusions. They will be dumping donated antibodies, healthy antibodies, into my system to try to convince my immune system to stop attacking the nerves and muscles in my extremities. Because at this point, my. My feet. Just the last couple weeks, I've noticed my feet have basically become almost completely numb, which one of the reasons I don't drive anymore. Kind of helps to be able to feel the pedals.
B
Yeah.
A
When you're. Yeah. And paralyzed. So. Yeah.
B
You can't lift your feet.
A
I can't, you know, adjust. I've got to move everything from, you know, my thighs because below the knees, basically, I've lost most of the muscle mass and nerve control. So neuromuscular control is basically nil below the knees, and it's affecting my hands to the point where I use speech to text for most things when I have to do it instead of doing any typing.
B
So who knows, when we are in Ohio, you might, might notice a change,
A
might notice some improvement. Yeah. But this will be going on every three weeks for the foreseeable future. So every three weeks we'll be taking two days out of the week, spending them up in Springfield. And that will be, you know, costing us a little bit for hotel because. But, you know, it saves us two hours of driving up, back, up, back.
B
Yeah, yeah, it's okay.
A
So Lord will provide that. Yeah. So that is our, our future going forward. But I am thankful because the, the insurance company was not going to allow it until. Well, it was, it was going to be about this time in July where they were going to allow it anyway. But if they had only approved it now, then getting on the schedule may have been another month's delay.
B
Yeah, they were able to get you in very, very quickly after the approval came through. So we're just grateful to the Lord for this. As far as I'm concerned, I've been releasing chapters of Blood Lies, first book of the Red Wing Saga on my sub stack and it's sharonkgilbert.substack.com and I am also having a ball rewriting the opening to book nine because I, during this time of just adjusting and dealing with all the stuff that's been going on in our lives has really slowed down my ability to write.
A
And I'm glad that fly really likes your tea.
B
He does. He wants my tea so bad. I'm going to have to dump that out. I am really glad that it's been delayed. The Lord, I just think, I mean, the opening is so much different. The original opening, I had actually had Hitler in it as a boy. And that is going to move to book 10, which makes more sense. So the opening to book nine is. Oh, we're bringing some devilish characters back in that you might have thought. Okay, they're gone. No, they're coming back.
A
Excellent.
B
And we're circling around to seeing what they were up to and doing things that are sort of Frankensteiny.
A
Ah, yeah. Okay. Because Frankenstein had. You've gotten some of the other, I won't say tropes because as the Iron Myth roundtables have discovered, even vampires. And you could even make a case for zombies.
B
Werewolves, vampires, zombies.
A
There are a lot of in references to them in the Bible.
B
Right? There are. And it's behavior of the fallen realm when they interact with human beings or prey upon human beings. It's the way that they do it and it varies. And. And there was an actual historical person that inspired Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
His activities. Now if you bring that into The Count de St. Germain who was in book eight.
A
Yes.
B
He's coming back. So. Yeah. Stuff going on. I'm really, I'm just having a blast writing the opening to this.
A
Good, good. Well, I'm happy that.
B
And Fly, you don't get to be part of this.
A
Back to the writing.
B
Yeah.
A
We've got an interesting discussion tonight on A View from the Bunker. Speaking of semi human entities, talking to a man named Brian Sawyer who was a guest on the program six years ago, back in 2020. Yeah, we were talking to him about his activities, trying to make it as a professional actor, as a Christian. Since then he has gotten into producing a program called Bigfoots of Michigan and he now hosts a podcast called Bigfoot of America.
B
Oh, great.
A
He has had personal encounters with Sasquatch. Yeah, so he describes those. He's got some photos that he shared which I include in the video. So if you want to see the size of the footprint left, it's. It's quite large. I should have asked Brian what size shoe he wears because whatever it was, the size of the. The footprint next to was much larger than his foot. But anyway, that will be the program tonight, but it's discussing it from a Christian perspective. How do we as Christians process the idea, the existence of Bigfoot or dog men.
B
Yeah.
A
What have you.
B
Well, and I think that's really important, by the way, if you heard water, it's because I took my tea into the kitchen and poured it down the sink and just told that fly. Too bad. None for you.
A
Dying coffee now probably. Anyway, that'll be released tonight, 7pm Central Time. That's UTC minus five. And tomorrow, just five things you should know about the cherubim or caravim. Actually, this was that this past week. Caravim is the correct pronunciation. Tomorrow, just five things you should know about Gilgal Rephaim.
B
Ah, well, I'm glad to hear that because I thought. Didn't you just.
A
Yeah, I did. Yeah. Gilgal Rephaim. That's tomorrow.
B
You know, that is a fascinating place. And if you go to Israel with us in 2027, our next tour is in October of 2027. Next year, if you go, you will get to visit Gilgal Rephaim.
A
Yeah, yeah. And we will explain why we think that's historically spiritually relevant. Of course. Gilgal Refaim. I've got video drone video that I Will show in the presentations in Ohio and in Springfield, Missouri, of Gilgal Rephaim, because it is significant. Just earlier this year, they found 28 more just like it, smaller, but just like it on the Golan Heights. In other words, ancient Bashan.
B
Aaron Lipkin is the one who did the drone footage. He also did drone footage of Khirbet Betacha, which was another circle, a monument.
A
Yeah. And one that's very relevant to the personal life story of Jesus. We believe he got baptized just below it in the Jordan river because it's on the bank about 75ft above the river.
B
And it fits.
A
Scripture, fits the location. So, anyway, that's all what we've got coming up. The flies decided to come over here and land on my iPad.
B
Oh, do you have any tea over here?
A
Get out of here.
B
Yeah, I know. I need. I. I kill flies with a wet washcloth. Grab one corner of it and just flick it right at them. And usually it works.
A
Yep. We see them in waves over the summer when the hummingbirds have not gotten enough of their nectar, they go on strike and the flies are allowed to live. We've got a cattle operation next door to us, so. Yeah, occasionally the flies can become.
B
We do. And when the dragonflies show up, they take.
A
They take care of. Yeah. Well, until next time, I'm Darius.
B
No, wait. Let's pray.
A
Oh, thank you, Father. Thank you for bringing us over together over your word. And just the richness and the layers that we find in your word are just beyond our comprehension, Father. We pray for the wisdom to understand them to the best of our ability, to understand your word to the. The best of our ability and the courage to live according to your word to the best of our ability, Father. We pray for our president as he makes difficult decisions regarding. Regarding the situation with Iran, political decisions that affect our nations. We pray, Father, for the. The family of Senator Lindsey Graham, who passed away suddenly yesterday, and just pray for your comfort, your peace during their time of mourning. Lord, we know that there are many who are hearing our voices today who are suffering and struggling physically, financially, emotionally, feeling a spiritual heaviness. Lord, may your spirit comfort them and remind them that even when we feel far removed from you, that we are never alone, that you are always here with us, Father, that you are the same yesterday, today, and forever. And in your promises to us are true and sure. Father, we ask for your blessing. We pray, Father, for your spirit to grant us the courage to speak boldly of our hope in you, but with gentleness and respect for those around us. May we be good ambassadors for you, our King. We thank you again for this time together. Thank you for preserving your word. And we thank you most of all for your sacrifice for us as you willingly went to the cross while we were yet in our sins we ask these things in Jesus name. Amen.
B
Amen.
A
Amen. Now, until next time. I'm Derek Gilbert.
B
