Feast of Passover (23:4-6); Jesus is our “Passover Lamb” (John 1:29; 1 Cor 5:7; 1 Pet 1:19 Heb 4:15). Jesus rescues us from slavery to sin. 2. Feast of Unleavened Bread (23:6-8): Jesus’ sinless life (2 Cor 5:21), He is the “Bread of Life” (John 6:48) 3. Feast of First Fruits (23:9-14); 1 Cor 15:20 Jesus arose as the “first fruits from the dead” 4. Feast of Pentecost/(or “Weeks”) (23:15-21) – 50 days after the beginning of Feast of Unleavened Bread (near the Passover). (Acts 2) Harvest of souls, outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all believers (Jew and Gentile). Fall Feasts:5. Feast of Trumpets (23:23-25) – Rosh Hashanah (modern Jewish new year); will be ultimately fulfilled at Jesus’ 2nd Coming (1 Thes 4:13-18; 1 Cor 15:52). 6. Day of Atonement (23:26-32). Jesus atones for all sin of those who repent and trust in Him for forgiveness and eternal life 7.
