Some conversations hit differently, and this is one of them. On today's episode of the Hi Felicia Podcast, I sit down with Jenny C. Cohen, embodiment mentor, dancer, breast cancer survivor, mother, and someone who has turned some of life's deepest pain into purpose. Jenny shares a perspective that may stop you in your tracks: being diagnosed with breast cancer was one of the best things that happened to her. Not because of the pain or the struggle, but because of what it woke up inside of her. We dive into her journey through breast cancer, trauma, IVF, motherhood, and supporting her children through unimaginable challenges, including mental health struggles and recovery. Through it all, Jenny continued to come back to one thing: movement. We talk about why dance is more than movement. It is healing. It is expression. It is connection. It is remembering who you are. This episode is for anyone who has been carrying stress, trauma, heartbreak, anxiety, or simply feeling disconnected from themselves and wants to learn how to come back home to their body. In this episode we discuss: • Why Jenny says breast cancer changed her life for the better • Why dance is your birthright • Learning to listen to your body and trust its wisdom • The connection between trauma and the body • Supporting a child through mental health struggles • Why presence is the real key to happiness • Simple ways to reconnect to yourself today • Healing through movement and embodiment Sometimes the body whispers before it screams. The question is: are we listening? What if success wasn't about grinding harder… but about creating systems that give you your time back? In today's episode of the Hi Felicia Podcast, I sit down with Kieryn Wang, email marketing strategist and founder of ALLMOST, to talk about something so many high achievers quietly struggle with: burnout. Kieryn shares her journey from working long hours in a demanding startup environment, to freelancing, to realizing she had simply recreated the same cycle in a different package. The turning point came when she recognized that she had spent years helping brands build systems that allowed them to operate efficiently and generate revenue even when they weren't actively working. That led to a big question: If systems can create freedom for businesses, why can't they create freedom in life too? Fast forward to today and Kieryn has intentionally designed a business and lifestyle that allows her to work less than 10 hours a week while running a multi-six-figure business and traveling the world. We talk about: ✨ Why hustle culture may be keeping you stuck ✨ The mindset shifts that helped her move from burnout to thriving ✨ How systems can buy back your time ✨ Knowing when to delegate and let go of control ✨ Redefining success on your own terms ✨ How email marketing still creates massive business growth ✨ Tips for becoming a digital nomad ✨ The personal habits and routines that transformed her life If you've ever felt exhausted from doing all the things, people-pleasing, or believing success requires sacrifice, this episode is for you. This week on the Hi Felicia Podcast, I sit down with Carla Birnberg for a conversation that felt like a permission slip so many of us need. If you've ever found yourself saying: "Why can I stay on track for a few weeks and then fall off?" "Why do I keep starting over every Monday?" "Why does motivation work for everyone except me?" ...this episode is for you. Carla has spent decades studying consistency, habits, and behavior change, and she shares why so many people are stuck in cycles of burnout, perfectionism, and all-or-nothing thinking. We unpack: • Why intensity is overrated and identity matters more • What the wellness industry got wrong about motivation • Why willpower is not the answer • How diet culture conditioned us to chase short-term results • Why streak culture can backfire • The small daily choices that actually create sustainable change • How to rebuild trust with yourself in midlife • What consistency really looks like when life gets messy This episode is a reminder that transformation isn't built in one big moment. It's built in the quiet choices we repeat over and over. If this episode spoke to you, take a screenshot and share it to your Instagram stories and tag us so we can repost and connect with you. In today's episode, I'm sharing something I've been sitting on for a while… Why I made the decision to walk away from OHM Fitness and why our location ultimately closed. This is not about calling people out or placing blame. This is me speaking from my personal experience as a 40 percent profit partner, what I saw behind the scenes, what we built, and what I learned the hard way. When I joined at the end of 2024, I was excited. The concept felt innovative. The opportunity felt aligned. And I chose to invest my time, energy, and expertise through sweat equity instead of capital because I had multiple income streams supporting me outside of the business. Over the next year, we grew the studio from 112 members to 225 members and nearly doubled revenue. I'm incredibly proud of what we built as a team. But behind the growth, there were challenges. Operational friction. Tech issues. Misalignment. And moments that made me pause and start asking deeper questions. In this episode, I open up about: Why I initially said yes to the opportunity What we actually built and why I'm proud of it The challenges that started to surface in 2025 What it felt like operating inside a system that didn't always feel aligned The financial realities and overhead that ultimately made it unsustainable Conversations I had with other owners that shifted my perspective Why I chose to walk away and what I've learned from it This episode is for anyone in business, anyone considering a partnership, and anyone who has ever ignored their gut because they believed in the bigger vision. If something feels off, there is usually a reason. And sometimes the strongest move you can make is choosing yourself. If this episode resonated with you, I would love for you to take a minute to rate and review the podcast.
