I’m a wife, a mother, a former youtuber and blogger, and born curious. When I see a problem I can't help myself.. I want to find a solution.
So let's look into some of the lifestyle issues most of us face every day. Let's learn together.
I believe in God and my faith is a big part of this. He’s our mentor and turns out he has some pretty solid insights into our lifestyle issues :)

It is so easy to get stuck in our patterns and just keep doing the same tested ad tried things again and again. But trying something new, challenging our Brains, is so Good for us. I have set myself the challenge to make 80% of my own clothes.. that is not an easy challenge, and to get there I sometimes have to do projects that really stretch my brain capacity. But it could be in any area of life.. when we try something new, we expand our world and our capacity. We are all so different and in today's episode, I talk about the beauty in our talents being as diverse as they are. We have to get better at celebrating our differences also when it comes to our gifts. Some are good at reading others at sewing, baking, painting, running or knitting and the list could go on. When we learn to celebrate each others talent differences, bring it out and encourage it, the world becomes a more beautiful place. My podcast: https://hillsidetalks.com/My Instagram: https://tinyurl.com/2pv8zhytPodcast on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@hillside-talks

This week I dive into my own experience with practicing gratitude and share why it's one of the most powerful things we can practice. When we choose to focus on the good things in our lifestyle, our brains get trained to see the positives more quickly. It is not a quick miracle cure, it is the slow and gentle practice, everyday over a period that will get you results. Luckily it doesn't require much time or energy and is super easy and convenient to fit into a normal day. Hope you enjoy. My podcast: https://hillsidetalks.com/My Instagram: https://tinyurl.com/2pv8zhytPodcast on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@hillside-talks

In this episode we have an honest conversation about when and what can pull us back into scrolling. We usually avoid it, but there are times and events going on that does pull us back in. Healthy screen habits are like all other habits, sometimes we slide or sidetrack a bit and then we have to get back on track.Related videos:Mortens' Screen Habits: https://youtu.be/6he6S0X4_E0?si=b4nRd1Hvs74eIKa-My podcast: https://hillsidetalks.com/#stopscrolling #intentionalliving #simplifylife #couplesMy podcast: https://hillsidetalks.com/My Instagram: https://tinyurl.com/2pv8zhytPodcast on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@hillside-talks

Happy January! Winters can be long, and over the years I've learned how I best get through them. Without a plan I will go into complete hibernation og is more likely to get pulled into seasonal moods that are a bit heavy. So I apply a lot of time for creating and diving Ito interesting topics. Today I share some of them with you:)Pdf to reflect on the year: https://hillsidetalks.com/downloadables/#podcast #simplifylife #mentalhealthmatters #create #useyourgifts #Scandinavia #MariaStorgaard #stopscrolling My podcast: https://hillsidetalks.com/My Instagram: https://tinyurl.com/2pv8zhytPodcast on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@hillside-talks

My podcast: https://hillsidetalks.com/Introducing a weekly rest day has been one of the biggest game changers for us. It has changed the way we move through the rest of the week. It has also tought us how to ACTUALLY rest, I'm not sure we knew how before we started sabbath-ing. In Danish, it's called "hviledag" which translates to "Resting Day". In this episode I share how we do it, and what rhythms we have found helpful. I hope you like it!My podcast: https://hillsidetalks.com/My Instagram: https://tinyurl.com/2pv8zhytPodcast on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@hillside-talks
