Women Lighting the Way

This new series in Isaya's Inspiring Evenings Podcast, titled Women Lighting the Way, is about women’s stories, centering around the past or future speakers from the various Women Lighting the Way Summits, adding to the virtual library of women’s stories and providing a much needed counterpoint to the many men’s stories going around in our patriarchal world.

These talks were recorded during previous iterations of the WLTW Summit, and are now shared in my podcast.

Reiki Master, Infinite Possibilities trainer, Podcast host, Author and Donut Showdown champion, Kris was admitted to the Idaho State Bar while pregnant with her third child. While looking to find her path to practice law, she unknowingly manifested her ideal business, Buy the Dozen Donuts, in 2009 while pregnant with her fourth child. After discovering the power of her words and wishes, she immersed herself in spiritual studies becoming a Reiki practitioner in 2012.

She continues to discover how the Divine has guided her throughout her life and knows she is exactly where she is meant to be.

In 2011, I discovered that when my words align with my truth, magic happens.

After spending years pushing myself to become a lawyer, to use my costly degree, I allowed my true desire to emerge. And I discovered my power.

When we give ourselves the self care we need, we build self trust. We empower ourselves. And when we can say yes, the Universe delivers all that we have wished for.

The Universe knew my dream was not to spend hours in an office away from my family each day. The Universe knew my dream was to have a happy whole family. The Universe knew I wanted to be present for my family.

When I allowed those words to surface, when I gave my truth a voice, the Universe guided me to my dream business. When I said yes to my inner voice, I was given more than I could have imagined possible.

Through the foundation of love, care, and trust for yourself, you create the right conditions for the Universe to guide you to your dreams. And when your words reflect your authentic inner desire, the power of the Universe is yours.
