At Amica Insurance, we know it's not just what's inside your home that matters. It's who you share it with. That's why we work even harder to protect it. Visit amica.com and get a quote today. Heller. I am. I'm recording from the Hamptons, so I really don't know how these cameras look, even though I did check and I did my best. But you should see my setup. I'm just sick. I'm sick of traveling with stands, then ordering more stands and then returning them to Amazon, if I remember. So my setup is with books and coasters. Okay. It is what it is. Robbie's here somewhere, I think. I think I hear pishing. That's what we say in Yiddish. We. But anyways, so we're on vacation, kind of. And I'm treating it too much as a vacation, if you know what I mean. Because I have other stuff to do that is not surrounding a vacation like this. I can't always take a break because I have to work and then I have to write and then I have to spend quality time with my lover and my loved one. How do all of these things, how do they exist when I have to work? But it's the working woman's tale. It's her strife. It's her. It's her poor luck, or maybe luck. And speaking of a working woman, I am going to be talking about Love island uk. I don't want to watch the US version anymore. It's too much. The online community is way too much for me. I can't get caught up. I can't separate myself. I still care and I care and I think and I wondering about these people. And then I'm reading the comments and it's getting to me. And then the old production, this and the old production, I need a break. So I watched the uk where only information is fed to me in which I ask for it and I do on Reddit 2. Confirmation bias. My own opinions. I Never said this was objective here. In fact, it's not. It's very opinionated and sometimes with the wrong opinion. And that's okay because it's my prerogative because this is work for me and you're here listening to me. I wish Robbie would get out of the bathroom, cuz I don't know if she can hear me. You know, I got to get comfortable here. But let me tell you, Jack's coffee in the Hamptons. You should be ashamed of yourself. This is not coffee. I asked for an Americano and it tasted like watered down mud. This isn't gonna wake me up. This isn't what's gonna get me excited in the morning. First sip of hot coffee gonna burn your tongue off. Speaking of, my tongue is quite burnt today because I had some warm olive oil yesterday because if you have to know, I'm a bit constipated, I feel bloated, an abdominal massage isn't working and I'm off my probiotics because I'm traveling. So I needed. I needed a homeopathic cure of constipation. And the first thing they said is a hot olive oil. Well, I put the hot. I put the olive oil in the microwave for 10 seconds and it got too hot and it burned my tongue. So I'm miserable. This episode is sponsored by Stella Rosa. We all just need to relax. Can you even do that in this world with things happening all of the time and the things just keep going and the world keeps turning and now you're so dizzy. And the Stella Rosa, it has a little bit more personality like you and I than a regular bottle of wine. It has bubbles and a semi sweet taste. I bring it to every picnic. There's, you know, picnics at the park. We're going to the meadows or a birthday party or just a non occasion. Because you really cannot go wrong with cell Rosa. It's a staple. All right, enough of that. Let's talk about what matters, which is Love island uk. And you know what? It's. It's just a tale as. As old as misogynistic time. It's a social experiment of how men treat women, which, as they say on Love Island Shakur, is no surprise. It's not good. And they get away with everything because there's nowhere else to go. They're all locked up in this jail. But by this social experiment kind of intricacies, it gives the men the power again. Because you. You never know who's going to have to. You never know who is going to have the power to pick their couple next. If production had some sense, they would give more power to the women more often knowing that these men will fuck them over again and again and again, and they sit scared. Yes, this is the kind of production intervention we need. Level the playing field on this TV show. Give. Give the women the power. Like the mess after Casa More and the movie night clips where Simba was flirting and flirting and flirting and crossing boundaries and licking his lips and jumping at everything that moves and leaving Angie high and dry and heartbroken, and he knew. He knew what was going on. They all feign ignorance, and all they do is say sorry because there's nothing else to say. And then they get away with it. Simba, the whole, oh, I brought her back to get to know her while I'm still with you, huh? Who says you get to do that? I need to have consent. I don't want you doing this. We're together. They've been together from the beginning. And I feel like one of their relationships is the deepest connection. Hi, baby. That the woman you've. You're. You've been with the whole time. You're going to make a huge statement by bringing back a girl with you from Casa after three days away, showing that you've forgotten about your girl, Angelista, but you're able to still claim I'm in love with you, and we just had a connection there, and I owe it to myself. What is this fake vernacular made up vocabulary that has no legs to stand on, no credibility? What do you mean? You owe it to yourself. Owe it to yourself. This isn't nutrition. This isn't a drink of water. This isn't a piece of candy. But you think it is. You think it is you. You, Simba and Angie have been sharing a bed and props every night. Now, that is not. This is. I'm Assuming that is not neither denied nor confirmed, which who has the energy, let me say, every night, every time the lights go out and they do the. They do the X ray vision and I'm looking, I'm looking, I'm looking. And it's always the same couples going at it, they can't breathe, their fish under the sea, they're locking lips, where's the oxygen? And I guess the sexual tension is just that high. But I would be so tired after these long days. You see their wake up call, how exhausted they are. I couldn't do another day. I couldn't do it. So let me hit REM cycle the way I've been looking forward to since the second I got up. And I have to face all day with these dumbass dudes. I need some sleep. I do not want to kiss you every night. But only men would take advantage of this kind of situation and use the offensive excuses to date multiple women and snog on multiple women in the villa. Because they owe it to themselves. You owe it to yourself. What do you owe to her back there? A lot more. In Casa's always uneven territory because the girl bombshells are always way better than the boys. Because girls are better than boys. So the pool is naturally bigger. It's just, it's just the way it is. But we get shit on on the end girls by being better, by being able to be beautiful and smart and have a sense of humor and carry ourselves and have the fake eyelashes and have the fake freckles and do our makeup every day a full beat just so maybe I can impress you. And I'm the one who's getting punished in the end. And the girls are stuck with these lame O's who they wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, maybe a 20 foot pole. How long can the pole go? Because they wouldn't touch it with the longest pull. And I can't believe I really. I mean I can, but I cannot believe Angie took Simba back after watching Movie Night, back where he was sneakily pursuing Mika. And we will get to that. And bringing Mara back from the villa, which loved Mara, I wish she would stay. And all of the clips where he's acting like he's in heat, but he doesn't even have a uterus, so he doesn't even get to be in the heat. He's stealing it. He's stealing. He's stealing another. He's pilfering from the women just like a man does. And he would say the most ridiculous statement, Simba grand statements to Angelisa, like, God, God, the big man above, who's really a woman, brought me to you. And then she falls for it every time, despite his actions. Like, Angelista, you gotta wake up. And she's living in it. So maybe when she watches it back, it'll be a completely different thing. So she can see his behavior from an objective point of view. But every other girl hates him. He gets in fights with everyone for treating the girls like shit. And he just waits there for Angie to accept his apology because she has so many times genuinely shocked she took him back after Kosta, she's like, I'm going to leave. I'm like, bitch, you should leave. Teach this man a lesson. They don't get to have both. Where's the respect for yourself? Because you can tell she really cares. Like, she holds herself, she holds her head high. She's so poised, she's so put together. And this guy's making her look like a mug. And femme Finn or femme, I don't give a fuck. He did the same thing to Ellie with the bombshell Alicia. And this was even later in the season when they were really loved and doved and couple up. He was the only one entertaining the new bombshell because she came in so late. He was the only one, which is no fault of her own. And she was an amazing bombshell choice. She really was. But she was really putting it on thick. Too much at the end. She could not take no for an answer from Finn. She's like, but I think you really like me and owe it to yourself. He's like, he said he wants to go with Ellie. Why are you begging him to take you? But it's like, I think it's production play. But she immediately pulled Aiden and Finn into the hideaway for a throuple. And I had to close my eyes because this is disgusting. I don't want to see this on tv. I don't want to see a threesome on tv. I thought maybe they were going to go there to talk. Silly me, stupid me. You don't want to get to know the noggin of the opposite sex. You want to have a steamy makeout after looking each other from head to toe. Please spare me my eyes. They're burning. They're burning with a lit match into each of my cornea. I don't want to see this on tv. Especially seeing Finn entertain it. Like, I was, like, cringing for way too long. He's like, well, suck my neck. I'm sorry, but that's just as like personal as a kiss on the mouth. And Ellie looks like an idiot as she cries over him. And she has nowhere else to go because she's locked in the jail of the villa of prison. Get me out of these bars. I'm ready for my beans. And again, it's this made up vocabulary. I owe it to myself. Finn says I owe it to myself. I owe it to myself. You already have the whole world as a man. You don't owe yourself anything. You owe yourself to be respectful to the woman that you're really into if you want to be in a relationship. And aren't you happy that you found her, that you can see yourself really going somewhere on the outside? And I kind of genuinely believe that, but not anymore. And earlier in the season, everyone said that Finn and Ellie were like the most loved up and happy and they could really see a change in each of them. And then he pulls this shit and he does what every man does, which is take the bait the second it's in front of his face, which is take the bait the second it's in front of his face. On the fishing pole, even the long one, it could be way far away, way far away. This fish, the holder of the pole, he's the fish. He could be way far away as the fish and he will still take the bait. And she takes him back. What? I just can't do it anymore. It's like, ugh, I just can't do it. I can't watch it anymore. And these, these girls are young. I get it. And, and by the way, I'm not even talking about I'm them personally. I'm just talking about what I've seen. Of course I don't know them, but they're young and they haven't grown to maybe respect themselves enough to not accept these behaviors. So I'm hoping that we are watching them grow and change in real time. But the girls are obviously gorgeous and amazing and perfect in every way, but. But they're young and they preach, you know, like they're women. I'm a woman. I don't deserve to be treated like this. You don't? I am a woman. He can't treat me this. I know my worth because I'm a woman. But I. But those are all just words. They say these things to each other, but do not demand respect from their. I can't even call them men from their toddler boys through their actions. Once they get sat face to face with their op, they immediately cower. But where is the woman? You can do not be afraid to hurt their feelings. You're going to love yourself more. They should not be the ones to decide how you feel about yourself. And I guarantee you, if you tell them to fuck off, you're going to feel really good about yourself. It's what it takes. Of course, you don't know what you have until it's gone. We know that. You should know that. But you shouldn't have to rely on that. Robbie would never be like, let me cheat on you real quick to make sure it's real. Are you insane? She knew it was real from the second, and she's terrified to lose me, so she would never fuck around and vice versa. Like, it's just. It's just not how it's supposed to go. And. But these words from the girls, they're just words. And. And because they always take them back in the end, they just, like, mean nothing. But I want them to really be empowered, not just, like, regurgitate what they've heard other people say. And like, our. Our culture of feminism right now. Because you have to put your money where your mouth is. And with Ellie and Finn, like, he did. I'm sorry, he just came back so easy while he was playing in her face and said, I want to be with you. And that's all, you know, she wants to hear. That's all we want to hear as women. Oh, you want to be with me? Okay, perfect. I feel better in the moment. I know you love me. Somebody who loves you would not treat you like this. Because if he's so easily turned right in front of you, what's he going to do on the outside when you're not there? He's going to twirl him on. Oh, come on. Give me a twirl. Give me a twirl. Give me a twirl so he can check out her ass. And he's unabashed. He's unabashed. All these men are. They. They completely lose themselves. They're thinking with their tiny little ball sack that's been overexposed recently, and it's been giving them too much confidence. And I literally cannot even listen to Finn speak because he's actually so dumb. He's not articulate. He can barely say a word. He's stuttering, stuttering, stuttering and terrified to say what he's actually thinking. Like, he speaks in half sentences. He can't even finish his own sentences and lets other people speak for him. And all he wants to do is play grab ass. Like, his flirt game is just like, so sexual. Sorry. Anybody could do that. A monkey could do that. A bird, a parrot can do that. They're regurgitating things that they've heard. He is a parrot. And I don't even know how Ellie puts up with it because he's literally so dumb. I don't know what they talk about. And I've been like, I've. I know this firsthand because I've been with guys like him. Much to my dismay. Much to my regret. Hey, baby. I've never. I never been with a guy. Anyways. What you doing? And there's nothing between the ears with these guys. And now a word from our sponsors. You know what? I bet me and Alicia from Rhode island love an Instacart. Both of us. Where's the half and half for this bitter coffee for my bitter tongue. Instacart will have it there in minutes. Do not fear. It's about to sweeten your day. But just a little bit. I'm getting a Ben and Jerry's cookie dough craving. I just need a small pint to finish off. Instacart is there to satiate my needs. I need binoculars for my new bird watching proclivities. And lo and behold, Instacart saves the day. And I look at dove pigeons all week long. And Hawaii and the distant big swell of the ocean. Which kept us from our one wanting activity of snorkeling. But Instacart is here. Instacart brings convenience, quality and ease right to your door. So you can focus on what matters most. Download the Instacart app now and get groceries just how you like. I love my phone, but not my carrier.

Anyways. These boring guys. I don't even think Finn's that hot. He's tall, but like you look at him and you know what you're getting? You're not getting a real relationship. He can only communicate in sexual terms because women are still objects to them. And like Alicia really plays into this. And I don't know if Ellie does, but it's like, that's not a real person. It literally, it literally stops there because he has no brain cells. I'm not even kidding. He cannot form a sentence. It's crazy. There's nothing, nothing, nothing but hot air. Hot, idiot air. Hot, stupid, rancid air between those ears. And he needs to get it checked out. He's probably got some mold spores in there. Maybe that's what's. Maybe that the mold spores of misogyny. And I think actually Yulia is the one girl who demands respect through her actions and isn't afraid to get mad at a dude for fear he might leave. Like, she doesn't give a. She's like, you treat me the way I want to be treated. Because she has an incredible amount of self respect. I mean, I've never seen anything like it. Like, she called him out right after he went on the date with Alysia and was like. And he just said to her face, I asked her if she wanted to kiss and she was like, are you insane? This is completely not respectful. I mean, they've only been seeing each other who knows, a couple days at this point. Not even like the couples who are really in it. And so she's setting the tone early. She's like, that is not respectful towards me, who is in the couple with you, and it's fucked up and you better stop and you cannot do it again. So instead of the girls always forgiving boys, you know, once, oh, it's okay, they've done it in a challenge or that's just how they flirt. There's just a flat. We know Lorenzo's just a flood. No, there's no excuse. Lorenzo gets away with the murder. I cannot. With him, I cannot. My blood boils to Kelvin, take Alvin. But like I said, Julia sets the tone early so she's not backed into a mute corner. If and when the relationship blows up, like, she's setting the tone. He knows what he needs to do or he will lose her. Like, because she does back it up with her actions. She is confident she will tell people how it is with everyone, not just him. But, you know, she also has like, I think she's just the most that which sounds crazy. She's the most genuine and kind of level headed. She does it in a playful way. She understands like the larger circumstances, I think, you know, I think she is like the most insightful one who isn't. She's like the only one who isn't afraid of men and doesn't need their validation for her to feel good. About herself, because she already does. Like, I don't know who this woman's parents are, but I need her. I don't know how she got like this, but she is fearless. And, like, in the getting. There was, like, this one scene, it was fast, when they were all getting ready together, and it was after the Alicia bombshell came in, and Yulia was like, yeah, Ellie, you need to yell at Finn. And Ellie was like, oh, Yulia, you just love yelling at men, don't you? Like a passive comment. It's like. Like, that is actually a good thing. And you should take something from her. You need to yell at men. They all need to be yelled at. They're rabid animals. They are not domesticated. They're toddlers. They need to be taught. Not that it's. It's definitely not my position, but if you would like to teach them, you know, so. So be it. They're ignoram. I. They're stupid. Stupid and forever. And you can also tell this about Yulia, you know, and her lack of fear in confrontation. Like, she always holds her own when she was fighting with Lola and doesn't back down almost to a fault. It's like, chill. And she can read Lola like a book, like a children's book. Like, one fish, tublish, two fish. Red flesh, blue fish. She can read her like a book, like a Dr. Seuss book. Red fish, blue fish, two fish, one fish. And Lola thinks she has everyone fooled, but her true colors really showed at the end. Like, I thought watching it, I thought Lola was who Yulia was going to be. So I was, like, rooting for her because I love a strong woman. And this doesn't mean you're not a girl's girl. It's okay to, like, have an opposite opinion of another woman. You know, I think we've, like, gotten so mixed up and conflated this girl's girl thing with being passive. But Lola was treating Julia like, from the beginning, and, like, Lola's not the girl's girl, but Yulia is held to this impossible standard of being a girl's girl when her job was to come in as a casa bombshell, and she literally nailed it on the head when. When. When Lola was like, she's, you know, so righteous, holier than thou. Your morals aren't mine. Morals. You're all on the same TV show of Love Island. You all have the same morals. So now you're acting better than her because you have better morals, but you don't because you're. And again, I don't know Lola on the outside, these are probably, like, defense mechanisms and stuff, but she really treated Julia bad. So who's not the girl's girl now? I think, like. And obviously, there is such thing as, like, women who hate other women. We are girls. Girls as much as we can. But if you're not met with that, that's not you not being a girl's girl. Now we can just be people. Heaven forbid. Another double standard of women that we are having to hold the weight of every other woman, be a girl's girl, even if they're mean to you, even if they're not a girl's girl. You have to have your back. You have to do this. Men aren't held to the same standard without, you know, being judged and called names and this and that. So it's like. It's getting me as the O.G. sorry, I am. I'm. I've never been a pick me. I've always been a girl's girl. Whatever coming from me. But, like, you see. Have I ever had a fight with a friend? Yes. Was I ever, like. Can I state my opinion? And say what? I'm hurt? Yes. Does that mean I'm not a girl? No. It's getting. It's too far. We're going too far. I mean, Lola thought she had everyone fooled but her. Her true guys. It's too early. Everyone thought. Lola thought she had everyone fooled, but her true colors just, like, really showed. In the end, she acted so secure in her relationship and herself that she didn't have to question Fitz about anything that he's lied about or even that's been rumored about him. This isn't security. This is insane insecurity because you're afraid to stand up for yourself to a man because you're afraid he might like it and then he'll dump you. That's the opposite of security. That's denial. And even Yaz, like, her best friend, brought it up to her and was like, it's okay to be upset at the things that happen at Casa, you know, you. Lola was the one who said, like, this is my one boundary. Fitz better not pick up anyone and kiss them, because that's what he does to me. And then that's exactly what he did. It was shown on the TV in movie night, and she was like, oh, it's okay. It's just a challenge. It's just a challenge. It's just a challenge. It's just a challenge. And I believe in what we have. What if you believe it? Then you wouldn't have any problem confronting him. You're just too insecure to face him and would rather get mad at Yulia, a woman instead, for bringing it to light that he was flirty in casa and that he said he hadn't been tested yet. Another vocabulary word that is made up to get on my nerves. This is personal, and it's working. Fake words in a fake place. Because if you think about it, the set of Love island, the walls are actually so high that you can't even see the ocean on the other set. So this production set could be anywhere. What if it's in Burbank? What if all this is happening in Burbank and they're flying up to Malibu to paddle board and have their dates? Haven't heard that conspiracy before. Anyways, nobody cares. It's not in Burbank. But instead of Lola being like, okay, Fitzy, like, please tell me the truth, this is what I'm hearing. I just want you to explain yourself. I. You know, I want to know the whole story. This is what's being said to me. Let's corroborate it. But she's like. She just. She just shuts everything down. She. No, I can't take it. No. Fine. Cause he loves me, so leave me alone. It's like, okay, you're being weird. You're being weird. And it just felt, like, so performative. Her and Fitz always talking about production, how they were always out to get them. It's like, no. Like, people on the outside, we see what's happening. You don't always have insight on yourself and, like, trying. Like, why would they try and make them look bad? As far as I was concerned, Like, I thought they were in it for the long haul, and they, like, actually could have won, but she blew that right up. And I feel like he was also getting annoyed at the end. Like, the amount of eye rolling and body language when she was literally threatening him and trying to control him. Like, if you love me, please never, ever, ever talk to Yulia again. It's like, you live in a house together. That's gonna be impossible. And why do you want, like, more awkwardness? Like, actually, Yulia would kind of be down to be like, fine, let's move forward. All I want is, like, to know that I'm heard. But instead, Lola wants the constant beef, wants to ignore it. She doesn't want to face that. Like, maybe she was a part of the problem and Fitz just wanted to clear the air. So, like, it could actually be better for Lola and them because he doesn't want it to be awkward, especially since he's such good friends with Lorenzo. But. And like Lola, I think Lola made them leave the. Whenever they like, self eliminated. Like, why would he want to leave his friends? And if they're such a good couple, don't you think that maybe you could win? Even though they know the public doesn't like him because she's full of shit and like, she was becoming really unlikable at the end. But as far as they're concerned, like, I don't know, anything could have saved them. Like, they really could have been a strong couple and won at the end. But I guess they just don't care about winning, which is fine. I don't know. Couldn't be me. But I think, yeah, Lola was catching on that the public didn't like her and her bad attitude. So she wanted to get the fuck out before things got any worse. And she made her boyfriend go with her, even though I'm sure he wanted to stay with her friends. And it's like she's so controlling. I guess she is a copy. But Fitz, do you wanna be controlled by this woman? Like, I can only imagine what their life is on the outside. I just couldn't do it. And I feel like his patience was running thin too. Like, I mean, her. Your true colors do come out in conflict and she cannot handle conflict at all. She either just brushes it under the rug, which is gonna build resentment. And like, your partner likes when you stick up for yourself and have some self respect. It helps them love you more and. But like, yeah, I think Sean was getting, or getting annoyed with how Lola was handling things at the end with Julia. Whereas Lorenzo loved how Julia navigated, navigated the whole fight and stuff. And he, like, was able to have her back and like kind of, you know, fell into more attraction with her. But it's like, okay, Lola, you're not as perfect as you want to be. You're just petty. And that's okay. Like, be petty, just. But like, I don't know, just be who you are. I feel like Julia is not pretending to be anyone. She's not like, yeah, she can be like, you know, kind not even, but like, overly confrontational maybe. But I think in these instances you have to. But she's not pretending to be meek, whereas Lola, I feel like, is just pretending. I got to take a. Take a sip of my burnt tongue. That's what's really going on. It's like sandpaper. I need to put like Aquaphor on it. I think about that Sometimes I'm like, can I put Vaseline on my tongue when it's so dry? I love my phone, but not my carrier.

And I really have to get going, guys. I have a meeting soon. Like, it's. It's just. It's becoming too much. But now for the men, obviously. I mean, the bar maybe was in purgatory, but it's not there anymore. It's just in hell. In the deepest, darkest pits of hell. It's on fire with hell. It's hot lava with hell is a glowing ember of a poking stick of the fireplace of hell. That's where the bar is. These men can say and act in impossible ways. Not respecting women outwardly, openly making misogynistic comments. Simba licking his lips every time he sees a girl like Simba is so objectifying. It just like, makes, ugh. Everything makes my skin girl. Everything makes my blah, blah. Everything makes me tongue tied. Everything pisses me off. But it's like, I also hate to say it, sometimes Simba is funny when he, like, really pushes Angie. He's like, okay, boundaries. Only pecs in the challenge. Only pecs in the challenge. A little bit of tongue. And Angie's like, what? And he's like, oh, just a little bit of tongue. Oh, whoa. He's like, okay, fine, no tongue. That's my problem. But if you want a funny, get a funny lesbian who will respect you. And Angie sees him, like, as good and sees the good in him, but he is the prototype, archetype, mega type of a fuckboy. Like Patient Zero. He started it all and will spread it by nibbling on your neck. But like I said, like, Simba is who he is. Lorenzo Wolf in sheep's clothing. This is what I cannot take. So I'm not into the UK blogs. I only look up my own opinions on Reddit. Like I said. So let me be in an echo chamber. Why do men only get to be incels? I want to be an incel, leveling the playing fields. Like Love island won't He's Lorenzo. He's a grown man, 28. And everyone women excuses his behavior because he's pretty. This is pretty privilege. He has absolutely no game. He makes me cringe. He's not funny. He's not good at flirting. And he would, if he was sat next to me saying that some of the things that he said to the girls, like, I. He would make me feel so incredibly uncomfortable because he's just so performative and makes everyone uncomfortable by flirting badly and trying to be sexual and trying to be funny. But it's just misogynistic and it's just for the sake of it, because he has no other laurels to rest on. Like, he's just so basic. But he thinks he's, like, died on the cross. He thinks he can walk on water, but I see through him. He has flippers on, and the water's frozen. He's on an ice rink, and the flippers have cleats under him so he could have ice picks so he can walk on the water, but it's ice. He's a fraud. Like, if I was in the villa, I know I would beef with. First of all, this is a comedy podcast. This is not to be taken seriously. I don't know him personally. But if I was in the villa, we would beef. I would avoid him like, the leprosy on his tally wagger. And then he would be like, do you hate me? And I'd be like, just to get away from him. And then I'd talk shit about him. And then I'd wait for the shit to talk to air on movie night and be like, you know what it is what it is, and I stand by it. He's incredibly avoidant, Strings all these girls along by giving them absolutely nothing. And he plays and he just literally plays the victim when he gives these girls nothing. He feigns the victim by saying he gets nothing. Like when Yaz came back from casa with Tommy. And she deserves. I love Yaz so much. She deserves a good relationship. And he was acting so hurt, but he didn't even so much as literally look at her when they were in a couple. Like, it was so. I wanted Yaz to say something, like, so bad. She just let him treat her like this for so long. But I think she knew what was going on and that it's, like, not worth even talking to him about. And it was. It was a painful watch. It was like someone taking a hammer to each of my baby toes, one on each foot and banging it and banging it. And banging it and banging it and banging it and banging it and banging it until it was necrotic. And then I lost all my toenails, so I had to look away and protect my feet. But when Yaz was trying to snuggle on him and he'd be like, not in this Mallorcan heat, and was just like, so mean and unavailable to her. And she didn't even, like, fight that hard, I think, because she didn't want to waste her time and her breath. And I kind of get that because, you know, finally she did really stick up for herself when he got mad at her when she brought Tommy back and she was like, what are you talking about? Like, you gave me nothing and you brought Julia back. How are you playing the victim? And he said, Lorenzo said two years out loud when they were in the couple that he's getting bored of her. And everyone's like, oh, my God, Lorenzo, he's so Italian and perfect and has those big bug eyes that he like, shoots out of his head when something surprising comes. And he doesn't see women as objects at all. Definitely not. He sees us as real beings, as his equal. And then she comes back with Tommy and he acts like he's massively hurt, like that she's cut things off with him and it's like, you've treated her like this whole time. Why would she still want to pursue you? And he's clearly shown more attention to Yulia than any other girls in the villa that he had pretended to be coupled up with in the beginning. He's just like. It's just so incredibly frustrating to watch on the TV and be so like, right in front of your face. Because they have no idea, the men, they have no insight. But because Lorenzo is emotional and he plays therapist and he's so much. And he cares about his friends and he cries like a baby when they go home. The public loves them. They think he's just such a soft man. No, no. This gets on my nerves. This really gets on my nerves. Acting like he's the one who cares about the girls and the guys feelings in the villa and always being the first to comfort someone and hold their hand. But it's like a friend to all is a friend to none. Sorry. I play favorites. It's performative and a way to. In a way to just get away with his misogynistic behavior. Like, look, I'm so nice to these women. I really care about them feelings. So I'm just a little. Because. Because I'm a 28 year old man and I don't know what I want. Like, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm not buying it. And I guess he, he like went in being like, I don't know how this show works but he's like an avid watcher of Love island with his mom, she said. And it's like he just. I don't know, it's like we know these people. I don't. I think they're calculated. I mean, I do think he liked Yulia, likes Yulia in the end and it was kind of perfect timing for them. But I also think that he was like ready to not play games because it was the end and if he wanted to win then he knew now was the time to really lock in. But he's, he's just more interested in his friends than any other girl a lot. Like the boys. Like Kevin was like, I just want to focus on my boys. And it's like, grow up, grow up. And Lorenzo was saying like all these misogynistic things to Alicia on their date. Like, oh, do you have friends? Can I flirt with them? It's like he's such a bad flirt. It's such a. He's such a bad flirt. Like I don't even know what other sensation I can equate it to, but it literally makes me want to suffocate my own head with this pillow. Like I cannot watch it. And women think he's so perfect and cute, but his rizz is nil and his game is bad. Aiden's game is way better. Sorry I said what I said. Not saying that Aiden is any better of a man, but his game is kind of unparalleled. And you guys know I like a funny. So this is probably personal to me but like Finn thinks he has game, Gus, just because he stares at girls tits all the time and tells them that they have nice eyes. Like that's so boring. This is all he thinks about. It's all he can talk about. Like, I think Aiden actually has a personality too and could be really entertaining. But unfortunately he does look like the fetal alcohol of his brother and also treats women like shit. But at least you know what you're getting with him. He doesn't like feign to be any way that he's not like Lorenzo. Like Lorenzo is pretending to just be this emotionally mature available guy and he's like exactly the opposite it whereas Aiden is a goofy dumbass right in front of your face and that's fine. He. Yeah, of course he needs to learn but he kind of like knows and he's like, why am I like this? It's like, you gotta ask yourself that. But I mean, I could go on and on, but maybe I should just give it a break because this isn't. It's whatever. Again, like I don't know these people, okay? I'm just. I'm allowed to comment on what I've seen on tv. Sure. I don't think these. I don't think these people are criminal murderers. But maybe some of them. But I. But I'm not going to tell you who. And one more thing before I fully switch, one more thing about Lorenzo. I'm sorry, he has a baby carrot dick. That's how he's acts. Acting. But we want a big potato dick energy, you know what I mean? And that I think the closest to that we've seen is Fitz. But Lorenzo shaved baby carrot. Don't know if it comes from the ground, if it's organic or not. It doesn't seem like it GMO or whatever. Okay, well, I guess now I can talk about the remaining couples. God, I'm fixated on you know who. But this isn't a hate podcast. Okay, maybe. I don't know, maybe it is. You guys, it's not my fault. I mean Capricorn, but Jasmine and Cav. I mean Jasmine is so incredibly hot and those tight little booty shorts. I'm like, how is her body? So perfect. And she has amazing style. And we haven't seen like a non basic on Love Island. You know what I mean? I guess like maybe in the beginning seasons when you know, it was just like less about this. But. But yeah, no, she has definitely like aesthetically a different flair which I like me and my lipedema could never at this current moment. So I do feel pangs of jealous and that. But that is not why I'm gonna say what I'm about to say. I do think there's serious sexual chemistry between Jasmine and Gav. But they just get on my nerves. They just get on my nerves. They're like. I don't know. He's like a puppy dog. But I.

Okay, okay. Love you. I just got so sick of the storyline with her crying and crying and crying and him being with Charlene for seem no reason except that she's a cute. She's an amazingly cute girl. And he had a little holiday from being held accountable for his actions. He thought he's going to get away with it, which he did because it was casa. But like it could have been Nipped in the bud way or earlier. This whole fight between them and the storyline just got so boring. Like, these boys lead these girls on that they don't like for way longer than they should. It's like. And again, I don't know what they talk about. He's literally 21. Can you imagine trying to talk to a 21 year old? It literally, and especially in a romantic way. It feels illegal. And he is. And he acts like it. He acts. He's not like. Not even that. There was like a really mature. She's mature for her age. He's mature for his age. No, he's a baby and he doesn't know how to let things go. He doesn't know, like, the ups and downs of a relationship. He's just obsessed with Jasmine because who's not? And she's way out of his league. And like, what. It's gonna get way worse after this with all the attention she's gonna get. She's gonna go back to a footballer because. I'm sorry, what do you have to offer as a man or whatever the. And who the. She was dating before? So. I'm sorry, Cab. You better. Like, I. I don't know. It's. It's. You're here for a good time, not a long time. They say cavalry or. Yes, but I meant cab, because anyways, Yaz and Tommy. I think Yaz is such fun tv. I. I wish we would have seen more of her. But, like, obviously we only see kind of the dramatic parts. And like, she was not very dramatic in the end when she met Tommy. But she. She's a Capricorn, so maybe. Maybe I'm partial, but I feel like she navigates things similar to the way I would. I just wish she'd call the boys out a little more. Like, I think she called Aiden out and got mad. But she. She did not call Lorenzo out early enough for me. Like, she kind of dealt with his shitty behavior for way longer. And all the while she knew, like, you know, what was going on in his avoidance and stuff. But it's like, I. I just don't know why she didn't. But then she got, like, her chance, you know, it's just. I cannot. I can't talk anymore about Lorenzo, you guys. It's just so bad. His double standards, him flirting with Jasmine and Yasmin right in front of each other's faces, the fake affair. Like, him. It's just like. Like too much. But I do wish, like, Yaz and Tommy were more seen at the end or like, maybe we could see their banter and stuff. Like, it's definitely not as playful. Like, I want to laugh more. I want to get to know them more. It is always, like, the drama focus, but also love the drama. Mika and Samraj, they bore me. They bore me to bits. I think he's also an undercover wolf as well and just gets away with a lot because he, like, carries himself well. He kind of, like, looks more like a man and he can, like, speak words, unlike the other boys who literally don't have a vocabulary. Like Finn. If you did not watch the season in some somehow, some way you're listening to this podcast, please just go watch a couple episodes of Finn. He's like, I've never seen anyone dumber. It's like, but, you know, I guess like, iq, you're born with it. So it's not his fault. But I think there's kind of something a little bit insecure or insincere about the whole thing. Like, I don't know, I feel like it just happened kind of fast and, like, we don't see a lot of them, to be fair. But the way he treated Priya was terrible and so sad. Constantly talking shit about her behind her back and acting like he likes her to her face. Like, what if you have the ick? He said he got the ick from her. If you have the ick that bad, how are you able to make out with her in bed? When I have the ick? I'm done for your dead to me. That's it. I cannot go back. What's the point? Just pull away and say you want to be friends instead of, like, sneaking around with Mika. Like, and I didn't see the part where Priya was like, everyone said she had a big ego because she was like, I have options. Options. But, like, who cares? That's like, not even that bad or egotistical. It's like, one. She's a woman, so we're not allowed to be full of herself. And, like, I think, like, maybe she's a little autistic and just says every single thing that's on her mind. Fine. If you're not into, just tell her. And I do think Mika's a little bit of a pick me. I mean, she's young, you know, she is 21, so I think she's still, like, really finding herself and you can't blame her. And I do think she is, like, really sweet, but she moves a little sneaky. I don't like the way she moved with Samraj and With Simba. How could you fall under Simba's trap? It's so obvious who he was like, and she's still sneaking, like sneaking. Having sneaky kisses when he's with Angelina. I don't know. It was so weird to me and I feel like she wasn't as apologetic as she should have be when. As she should have been when these clips were played. I would be mortified at my behavior. And all she was was like, oh, sorry girl. It's like, what? And Simba asked her to go to the hideaway when he was still with Angie. And she like didn't say no immediately. She like had to think about it and was like, yeah, I'd love to share a bed with you. It's like, huh, Just take a second. Just take a day. Hey, why don't you talk to Angie? Come back. It's like people aren't thinking. I don't know. It's just so weird. And then she did the exact same thing to Priya. She had a sneaky kiss with Sam Raj when Priya thought Sam Raj was really into her because he was saying he wasn't like kissing her own bed but saying he got the ick behind her back to Mika of all people. And like, like you're making out with him when he's talking shit about your friend because you just like, like that validation. I don't know. But she, you know, she is young. We're seeing like really young contestants. I think like by the end, Priya really grew on me. Honestly by the beginning I started watching maybe like a quarter of the way through. I think like, she really is kind hearted and honest. She just needs to like chill the out. She's so high strung and like worried about doing the right thing. It's like there's no right thing in these situations. You just have to like listen to your heart and you don't need to make rules for everybody else to act. Like, just set those rules for yourself. But she was like, no kissing more than one person in the day. And then she was the first to break the rules. It's like, whatever, come take some qua or whatever it is. Like naturally that would happen to you. You can't set rules on other people and you can't like make rules when you're just like there to be listening to your emotion. Like you can't, like not everything needs to be a rul. Like quantified or like this is right and this is wrong. But yeah, I think she was like. And she was really hard on Herself. Like, every time someone was interested in her, she felt like it was her responsibility to give them attention back. Like, if you don't like them, who cares? Just because you're in a couple with them, you were chosen of no fault of your own. Doesn't mean you have to entertain it. I'm sorry. This new guy is just as boring as the last. So don't. You don't have to entertain him just for the sake of it. I feel like her and Aiden, they just like. Like people that like them and will entertain it. But it's like, no, you have to have. If you know yourself, you have to know, like, when there's chemistry, when there's an attraction, who you're gonna be drawn to. Like, you can't just do that with everybody. And I think that's basically it. I mean, there's. I think this season there's, like. Like 50 some episodes. So. Thank God. I don't know if I'm gonna fish and finish. Maybe I'll watch last two, but it's like, it was taking up all of my time. I was obsessed. I was obsessed. I wish I could feel this way about other things, but I can't. But Julia and Lorenzo won, honestly, because I feel like they were the only options. Cav and Jazz. Sorry. They were annoying at the end. No one's gonna vote for Cav. Simba and Angie. Hello. We watched him the whole time. Like, there's no way. And I think the arc of Julia and Lorenzo was just so perfect at the end. Like, her. Her growth, his growth, to be able to, like, support her. I think they do have natural chemistry, and they're both entertaining, but I think I feel like they won by, like, default. Who cares? It's a TV show. Whatever. Those are my two cents. Okay, see you next time.

Long Winded with Gabby Windey — Love Island UK Episode (July 30, 2026)
In this episode, Gabby Windey dives headfirst into the ever-entertaining, outrage-inducing world of Love Island UK. From a cozy (if makeshift) recording setup in the Hamptons, Gabby delivers a deeply opinionated, hilariously candid breakdown of recent Love Island happenings. Drawing on her sharp wit and experience with reality TV, Gabby examines gender dynamics, problematic production choices, and the emotional rollercoaster that defines both the contestants’ journeys and the viewers’ experience. Her focus is on how women are treated in the villa, the show’s recurring double standards, and the broader cultural conversations they spark—served with her trademark sass and warmth.
“You owe it to yourself. This isn’t nutrition. This isn’t a drink of water. This isn’t a piece of candy. But you think it is. You think it is.” (08:02)
“All these men are... thinking with their tiny little ball sack that's been overexposed recently, and it's been giving them too much confidence.” (17:13)
“Why do men only get to be incels? I want to be an incel, leveling the playing fields.” (35:45)

For listeners who missed the episode:
Gabby’s review of Love Island UK is an unfiltered, feminist roast with sprinkles of compassion for young contestants. She champions self-respect and calls out production’s role in perpetuating double standards, while never missing a chance for an outrageous metaphor or a hearty, relatable confession. Most importantly, Gabby encourages women—on the island, and in life—to demand more and not just settle for the empty promises and antics of “toddler boys.”
