Jaymee hosts Brandon Boyd—frontman of the iconic band Incubus, painter, surfer, lifelong spiritual explorer and new father —for a playful and thoughtful conversation about creative morality and the toll of success after decades in the spotlight. Brandon reflects on the strange miracle of a band of friends from California growing into one of the most beloved rock groups of their generation, while somehow managing to keep their sense of humor, experimentation, and inner life intact. Jaymee and Brandon explore the process of songwriting while driving, the sacrifice the muse asks of its receiver, the divine paradox hidden within truths, forging your own spiritual path, the wisdom we earn through what we wouldn’t wish upon ourselves, and the ideal beauty of being a new father at 50. Jaymee is thrilled to share this two-hour conversation with YouTuber Dakota Wint. With his channel Dakota of Earth nearing the one-million subscriber mark, Dakota reflects on his unlikely entry into the spiritual path—from once being an argumentative atheist encouraged by the writings of Christopher Hitchens, to becoming a devout man of God enthusiastically exploring the sacredness of a multitude of spiritual traditions the sacred to the profane. He speaks openly about the Krishna devotee who mentored him before tragically taking his own life, what it was like being stranded in Peru for three months at the onset of the pandemic at an ayahuasca retreat, and the deeper reckonings that followed. Throughout the conversation, Dakota offers moments of honest self-reflection that remind us the screen is just another mirror. One of Jaymee’s favorite conversations to date—with a fascinating, seemingly fearless spiritual journalist reporting from the front lines of the incomprehensible.LITA PODCAST: hosted, produced, and recorded by Jaymee Carpenter. In this expansive double-issue episode, Jaymee welcomes back the wandering mystic known as Jesus Christ, or "Jesus Eveningstar Aurum Aquarian" from his time in the spiritual cult The Source Family. What unfolds is a hilarious, reality-bending exploration of mysticism, spiritual experimentation, communal living in the heart of 1970s spiritual counterculture, and the long arc of awakening in the subtler initiations of everyday life. In the second half of this special, Jaymee is joined by his extraterrestrial friend "(no first name) Aurora", who describes her experience of inhabiting a 27 year old human form formerly known as Debbie. Aurora shares her teachings on energetic sovereignty: a practice she calls the Flying Rainbow Lasagne— which is a dance designed to help individuals navigate and protect themselves from the harms and dangers of an increasingly unorganic, technological world.Provocative, unusual, and undeniably sincere, this double feature explores the edges of belief while returning again and again to the same question: What does it mean to live from love, no matter the story we inhabit?LITA PODCAST: hosted, produced, edited and recorded by Jaymee Carpenter. Mary Wright is an American painter and founder of the Wright Way Organic Resource Center in the Santa Monica Mountains, sacred land where her and her late husband, organic architect Eric Lloyd Wright lived, stewarded and offered to the public for ceremonial and teaching purposes for over 4 decades. Jaymee co-facilitated weekly sweat lodge ceremonies with shaman Miguel Rivera at Wright Way from 2014-2017, and this interview with Mary, recorded on Valentine's Day was a sort of homecoming for Jaymee, who views Mary as a saint. Recently her husband Eric passed away, and the home they shared was destroyed in the 2025 Malibu Fires. This conversation is a meditation on non-attachment, heartfelt resilience, the importance and truth of nature, and the abundant attitude of gratitude.
