Melanie and Christy are joined by special guest Janey Pitts. (janeypitts.com) Janey is an author and speaker with a vivacious spirit and calling to serve the Lord. She has a Master’s Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and currently serves on staff at St. Andrew Baptist Church in Panama City, FL as Missions Minister. Janey passionately shares profound biblical truths using her knowledge of first century Biblical culture as well as translating the original Greek and Hebrew languages and puts it all into modern day relevance. Journaling/discussion prompts:

What are some ways that you can encourage a heart of service in your kids? Think about ways you can lead by example or ways that you can serve your community together as a family.
Read 2 Corinthians 12:9. How is it easier to think of serving others when you know you have God’s power within you?
What comfort do you receive from Psalm 121?
Janey encouraged listeners to take a verse and write it out as a note/letter to your child and pray over them. Use the words of 1 Corinthians 12:9 or Psalm 121 as a guide to try this.
