Your story is interesting. You are. Are a forensic psychic medium or.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, forensic psychic medium, exactly.

[Alex Ferrari]

So what is a forensic psychic medium? I mean, obviously you work with the police and help them as well. Tell me.

[Sheila Marie]

So basically a forensic psychic medium. Basically it's data and information, you know, So I used to be a police officer years ago and. Yeah, for like 15 years.

[Alex Ferrari]

And with the psychic abilities or whatever.

[Sheila Marie]

No, before all that.

[Alex Ferrari]

Okay, got it.

[Sheila Marie]

I had no idea that I was able to connect until I was like around 36 years old. I was always doing meditations with my dad when I was younger, but it was around 36 when I started getting into connection, you know. So. Sorry, what was the question?

[Alex Ferrari]

So.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, forensic. Forensic, yeah, yeah. So basically what I do is I work with families and law enforcement agencies, whoever it may be. And I work in crime, homicides, missing persons, anything. And basically I'm a self contractor. So basically I'm connecting spirit. All right. I'm feeling really weird. So edit this. No, I'm just kidding. Yeah, I'm just. It's not coming out slowly.

Don't worry about it.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. So as a forensic psychic medium, I work in law enforcement, but I really am a contractor. I work for anybody all the time. You know what I mean? But I receive a lot of data and information, I get a lot of dreams, you know, I write, I draw maps and faces and stuff like that.

[Alex Ferrari]

So when I'm connecting, you're always getting stuff.

[Sheila Marie]

Yes, always. Always. So, yeah, so that's basically what a forensic psychic medium. So I'm using my mediumship, but I'm. All right. So originally when I first started, I was just going to be a psychic and do readings, you know, and my teacher at the time, she goes, you're going to work in law enforcement. I'm like, I'm done working law enforcement. I am not doing that anymore. And so later on, years later, I was contacted by a historical society and they said, oh, Sheila, can you come out every Sunday and tell us what you see? And this isn't in Sudbury, Mass. Concord, Mass. Where the Revolutionary War took place. And I was not a history buff or anything, so it was perfect for me because I didn't understand or know anything, you know, so I'd stand out in the field and I'd just download stuff and they were working with the Smithsonian, and they're like, oh, my gosh. So we were. I was giving the information then. I didn't realize it at the time, but there was a guy, his name was Kevin, and he was looking for the Babe Ruth's lost piano. And, you know, babe Ruth, lost piano. So Babe Ruth was a famous Red Sox player.

[Alex Ferrari]

Red Sox? How dare you.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, Yankees.

[Alex Ferrari]

It was the Curse of the Bambino before they.

[Sheila Marie]

Well, they say we found the piano. It broke the curse.

[Alex Ferrari]

Is that when it happened?

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. Yeah. So. Yeah. So, okay, so tell me. Okay, so Kevin was always searching for the piano in this.

[Alex Ferrari]

Kevin is someone on the other side or.

[Sheila Marie]

No, Kevin's here. Yeah, Kevin. Kevin was a historical society member, and he was part of the group, and he was always searching for the piano. And at that time, I had agreed that I would go and do the historical stuff. I knew Kevin was interested in that, but I said, no, no, because you have to understand, I was living a double life. I didn't tell anybody that I was a medium. I did this on Sundays because I was a political person. I was a police officer. I didn't want people knowing. Yeah, yeah. I didn't want anyone knowing what I was doing, because I know I was the biggest skeptic. So I know what they would be thinking and feeling. I'm like, forget. So, anyways, make a long story short. One time. So every Sunday, we'd go out, and one time, there was two of us. There was Lee and Kevin. Two of them. Lee, Kevin, and me. And we went out to a pond, and first thing, I saw a flash of. From Spirit. I saw a flash of the green. Green Monster. And I said, oh, Kevin, this is that baseball thing. I don't want nothing to do with this. He's like, please, just give us 10 minutes. I'm like, all right, fine, I'll give you 10 minutes, but then let's get back to work. Okay, great. So we walk up the hill, and I pick up a stick, and I went in, and I saw flashes of nautical marks. I asked Spirit, you know, show me. Answer his question, where is the piano? All that kind of stuff. And I saw a nautical mark, so I gave it to them. Well, I didn't know it, but the next day, they had a state diver and a diving team and a permit for the pond. They went out with those nautical marks, and they found the veneers of the piano in 10 minutes.

[Alex Ferrari]

So what is this piano?

[Sheila Marie]

So this was technically. Supposedly, it was Babe Ruth's piano that was thrown into this river where his cottage was, but they could never find it. And the environmental police were out there for 30 years because there's zero visibility, searching for it. And in 10 minutes, after spirit gave me the knock, they found it. Yeah. So.

[Alex Ferrari]

And then from that moment, the curse of the Bambino was lifted.

[Sheila Marie]

It was lifted. But my life, I wanted to die. I wanted to crawl under a rock because everybody, it was God.

[Alex Ferrari]

How did you.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, the universe said, sheila, you're coming out today. Right. And I was. I didn't know what to do, you know, and so it went from.

[Alex Ferrari]

So it wasn't a hush, it wasn't a hush hush thing.

[Sheila Marie]

It went all the way to Japan, India. It was all over the news. Oh, my God. You think I would have been happy? I didn't. I was devastated. Yeah. And so next thing I know, I'm sitting in my studio in this old mill in Medway, Massachusetts, and I get a knock on the door. And it's agents. Not like, not like police, like bigger. Okay, FBI. Oh, yeah, sometimes, but even bigger than that. And so they're like, can you help us with this? It wasn't even missing persons and stuff. I'm thinking, oh, wow. And then there. That's when forensics became the universe. Says, you're doing forensics now. And so next thing I know, I'm working on cases, you know, I'm working on missing persons, all different types of cases, everything. So not only am I doing mediumship, but I was doing police work at the same time. So it kind of intertwined. So I.

Funny how that works out, isn't it?

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, my gosh. And then I realized, I said, okay, well, the universe has set my foundation all these years. I so get it now. I accept this. Right? And so the feeling, yeah, right. Everything's a calling. Because this is, this is a calling to me, you know? And I didn't want to work with police again. I didn't want to even do mediumship. But in my heart, originally, actually when I was 36, this is funny, I was. I was in my bedroom and my daughter was. She was like 2 years old or something and she's running around and it was raining out. And all of a sudden I was on the phone with my sister in law and I said, hey, is it raining at your house? She's like, no. I'm like, oh, it is at mine. And we had contemporary windows. So I slid the window. I'm like. And then it stopped. Like, that's weird. So I sat in my bed and I'm Talking to her. My daughter's running around and all of a sudden I see this white light. At the end of my bedroom was the bathroom door. And this white light about this high, like around my eyes, not in my head, comes around and kind of sees me and stops. I'm like, oh my God. It's like seven o'. Clock. What's going on? You know? I'm like. She's like, what's going on? Are you seeing spirits?

[Alex Ferrari]

I'm like, who is this?

[Sheila Marie]

This is my sister in law. And I'm like, no. And I gotta go.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

I was afraid that it would see me talk and. But I did. I wasn't scared. I was just like, what the hell's happening? My daughter's looking at it.

[Alex Ferrari]

Oh, your daughter saw it too?

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, she saw it too. And all of a sudden it picks up and flies across the room and then it was gone. Said, what the hell was that? So the next, that Christmas, I get a gift certificate from my sister in law. Meet your spirit guide class. And I'm like, she's out of her flipping mind. I am not going there. I'm Roman Catholic. If I, I never even had.

So where's. What, where's this in the timeline, I.

[Sheila Marie]

Was about 36 years old.

[Alex Ferrari]

Oh, so you haven't, you haven't come out. This is pre. Baby.

[Sheila Marie]

This is.

I went from Baby Ruth all the way back.

Got it.

And so I. And that was like 10 years later, the Babe Ruth. And so I was like devastated. And I. And I had never even had a psychic reading before. I didn't believe in any of that at all. At all.

[Alex Ferrari]

So is this the starting point?

[Sheila Marie]

36.

[Alex Ferrari]

So no. But that moment with the, with the light, that's the first time.

[Sheila Marie]

That was the first time. Yeah. And. But I, I had had things happen around, you know, like dreams. I was heightened. Kid. This and that.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah. But you, there was, there was glimpses of it, but nothing that you could easily. You could kind of like whatever.

[Sheila Marie]

Nothing. Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

So as a Catholic.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

And now back to the show. As a Catholic, when you saw that, what's the first thing that you thought it was?

[Sheila Marie]

I thought it was the blessed mother.

[Alex Ferrari]

Okay.

[Sheila Marie]

Yep. And I said, oh my God, I think it was the blessed mother. And then the part of me said, or was that an alien? Because it came. Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

It could be Mother Mary.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, yeah. Or it came from the sky. So my conclusion was is that I heard lightning and it rained a little bit and it stopped. So whatever it was, I believe. I know everyone think I'm crazy. I don't care that it came from the sky and it was energy. That's what I felt. And it wasn't scary. It wasn't like shocking. Yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

First time.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

I was like, look, as. As well versed as I am in the world that you come from, in the channeling world and the mystical world and stuff, if I just saw a ghost or a light being in front of me and me understanding all of it, I'd still be going. Yeah. I'd be like, okay.

[Sheila Marie]

And I'll be honest with you, Alex, that's what keeps me in it because every like I went to this. So I went to the spirit guide class that my sister in law gave me a year later because I put it in the cupboard. I'm like, I'm not gonna let you sigh. I'm not going away.

[Alex Ferrari]

That there is a spirit guides class back then is pretty amazing.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, yeah. And so it was like, meet your spirit guide. So basically, I walked into the class and there's like, 20 people. And it's 20 people.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's not like three people.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And the lady says to me, oh, we're going to do meditation. I said, oh, my dad. My dad used to do meditations with me when I was 11. I know how to do meditation. Right. Guided meditation. So I went. I said, I could do this. Piece of cake. I'm okay now. And when I got in and I said. I said. I said a prayer. I said, oh, God, Jesus, Mary, whoever, all the saints, if I'm not supposed to see anything, don't let me see. I give everything to you. Just don't let me see. Well, what happened? Because I let go and I trusted. I saw everything. Okay? So I said. I came out crying. I'm like, oh, my God. Because my meditations took off. I went other places. I was getting messed. It was, like, instant. And I said, my God, this is real. So I came home. I have to tell you this. I came home and I told my husband at the time, I said to him, I have to do this. And he goes, what? I said, mediumship. He goes, what the hell is that? And I said, you know, like readings. He's like, oh, my God. And I said, it's okay. You can divorce me, but I have to teach people how to connect. Really. And he's like, what? I go, if I don't do this, I'm going to die. That's how strong it went.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

And I didn't even know what a calling was at the time, because I just. My mother's like, that's a calling. Like, well, what's a calling? Right. You know, I didn't get it at the time, but, yeah. So that's how it began for me. I accepted this calling, and I. Because I knew in my heart it was everything. And shame on me for not teaching people how to connect to the universe if you didn't. Yeah, shame on me. And that's. And so I had to do readings in the beginning, and I didn't like that because I was very Catholic and I didn't want to go to hell, you know, but what I.

You know what I mean, this conversation alone. So you're going straight. It's not even, do not pass go. Do not collect $200. I mean, you're done. You're done.

And so I. So there I was always a very spiritual person. And so there I. I began to coexist and started the universe was always teaching me and still is always. You know, there's no perfect medium, there's no perfect person. So the universe is always teaching you on your foundation from my experience. And so at that time, that's when my conscious energy experience started. And coexisting, finding the spirituality in everyone's religion and not the man made part, you know, and so that was key. So there I began teaching and as I taught, I learned, and the universe gave me more. Even like my trips to India. I, I, when I first started, I was really rejected from society. I lost friends, everything. And it was really, really, really. Yeah, you know. Right. Really, really tough. And so I would read books on Tibet and the Dalai Lama this and that. I said, oh, they find the Dalai Lama through trance. I can do that. I'm like. And then they accept women as equally spiritually. I'm like, oh, my God, I found.

[Alex Ferrari]

My child just like the Catholic Church, except different.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, right. Exactly, exactly.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's exactly the same. Completely different.

[Sheila Marie]

Different. And so I said, oh, my God. I definitely, I'm going to go to Tibet someday. Right. And my husband, you can't go there. They exile, whatever, you know, I'm like, oh, I go, I'm going to go visit him someday. And you know, I'm going to go next month, literally.

[Alex Ferrari]

This is your ex husband?

[Sheila Marie]

This is my ex husband, yeah. I actually going to meet Dalai Lama next month. So I'm like, wow, it came true. And I told him, I go, oh, you want to come with me? He goes, I'm not going to a third world country. I'm like, it looks like I'm going alone, you know, and that's okay. I don't have no problem. But so anyways, as far as connection, you know, everybody's the same. I've just found that with my teachers and all my experiences, you know, people like, oh, you're cool. You're a forensic medium. I'm thinking, well, I'm just a person and I'm channeling. I go, everybody can do it. Some people, I believe, are beginners. Some people play professional. And some people maybe have a calling. You know what I mean? Oh, yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

There's. There's every, every one of us could, if, if we physically have the ability to throw a ball into a basket.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

But not all of us are Michael Jordan.

[Sheila Marie]

Exactly.

[Alex Ferrari]

We all have the ability to play the game, but there's just different levels of it.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Whether through practice or whether through inherent talent.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Or what you bring into this life.

[Sheila Marie]

Absolutely.

[Alex Ferrari]

You know, we all have those G. Yes. And so on. I wanted to go back for a second because as a. I have a lot of Catholics who watch the show.

[Sheila Marie]

I'm okay with that. You know, my kids went to parochial school.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, so did I.

[Sheila Marie]

And the mothers loved me on the side. They'd have parties and everything, but at church we wouldn't talk about.

[Alex Ferrari]

And I still feel guilty about going to school.

[Sheila Marie]

So.

[Alex Ferrari]

But when you were telling me you were being taught to meditate at 11, that's in the depth of your Catholicism. How did. How did you kind of wrap meditation, which is not looked upon.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Fondly in. In Roman Catholic traditions.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

There's prayer, but that's prayer.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

That's not meditation.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Prayer is connecting to something outside of you, which is God.

[Sheila Marie]

You're.

[Alex Ferrari]

That meditation is all about connecting with within, which goes against the Catholic Church, if I'm not mistaken.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. So for me, my parents lived apart and I would go to my dad's house and he ended up being chief of police, but he was police too. I was from a big policing family and blue bloods. Blue bloods, yeah. Right. And on the side, a lot of ego, a lot of. So anyways, on the side he was learning hypnotism because he. But listen to this. At the time, he was learning hypnotism, but I really think it was mediumship because he was learning for hit and run cases. And he says, yeah, I can see the license plate in my head. And I'm thinking, that's really mediumship, dad. That's not really hypnotism.

[Alex Ferrari]

That's not even close to what it is.

[Sheila Marie]

It was a cover up, you know, So I would go and imagine it at that time. Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

I mean, that literally is like burn at the stake kind of stuff.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. So my dad had the choice to have his hypnotist business or do the sergeant for policing. He chose the policing and he kind of let that go.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's a safer. But he was the starting point for you.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. So I would sit on the couch and he'd say, okay, Sheila, go in, close your eyes. And then I. So I had a complete trust with a guided meditation at a young age. And I just thought everybody did that with their dads, you know what I mean? I was the guinea pig. Cause he wanted to teach people and to, you know, for clients and stuff like that. And yeah, it was the best thing that ever happened. But in my eyes, I look back and even when I was in the fourth grade, I used to. I started getting a lot of dreams and Stuff that were real clear, and I just thought they were nightmares. And I was terr. I was very anxious kid, you know what I mean? And very heightened. Like, I was afraid of the doc. I mean, but I was feeling everything is really what was happening, you know?

[Alex Ferrari]

You know what's interesting is I was raised in New York, so I was raised in Queens, New York, in the 80s, back in the day. So I'm. I'm familiar with Philly and the Mass in Boston and that area pretty well. That is a Catholic stronghold. Absolutely. I mean, Irish Catholic stronghold.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

So you're basically an enemy territory if you're in the metaphysical media. It's, you know, now it's different, obviously. But back then when you were coming up in the. In. When you were in your 30s.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

That must have been insane. And I can't even imagine.

[Sheila Marie]

For your father, it was really hard.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's. You couldn't. You had to be closeted.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, I had no choice. Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Because you would be exiled.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, absolutely.

[Alex Ferrari]

Exiled.

[Sheila Marie]

Yep. And I. Yeah, it was. It was really funny because now the universe has me down south and it's almost the same thing. I'm just thinking about that now. I'm like. Yeah, because.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, because you're now in Florida, right?

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And people are not open to even readings and stuff. It's so completely different than, like, Salem, you know what I mean?

[Alex Ferrari]

Or California.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. Yeah. So it's different. It's different. But now I find myself more global, you know, which is great. Thank God for the Internet, you know, it's opened up my world. I can teach more people all over the world. And thank God for the online, you know, zoom.

Yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

But, yeah, it was not easy. It was really, really, really hard for me. And even though, I mean, I know people judge and all that, but I always tell everyone, you know, I'm just like you. I'm not any different than you. Why don't you come to my class? I'll teach you how. They're like, oh, I'm like, everyone. Everyone's able to connect. There's not one person that I haven't been able to learn to connect. If, you know, if you can learn to let go, you learn to have faith in your higher power, and you trust the universe, your higher consciousness, your soul, you know, your energy inside you is who we are. These are just our astronaut suits.

You know, and we're already doing this as beings of light. We are already light. Inside us, there's no trickery. There's no thing to feel bad or scared about. It's who you are as a being. We're connected. Everything. We live in space, people. I tell everyone, I'm like, are we in a workshop? I'm like, we live in a universe. We don't just live in Boston. We live, hello, there's the moon. We're here, we're in space. You know, we're beings of light. You know, we're higher consciousness. Everything is energy and vibration and frequency. I said, and you can learn to ride that, you know what I mean? And use it to your best interest as well. So I also teach entrepreneurs and stuff too, not just psychic and mediums. And I'll be honest with you, I prefer to teach people who are just pre beginners, beginners. You know, I just love watching them grow into who they are. You know, it's fun to watch that. But I mean, I'll teach anybody, but it's, it's interesting. But yeah, everyone's able to. And everything is higher consciousness and it's really funny because, like, I'm not one to read books or anything like that. That's just not who I am. I'm more visual, you know, Experiential. Yeah. And so everything I've learned has come from spirit, you know, and as I grow, I'll, you know, I'll give that to the people around me. You know what I mean? They believe me or not. I don't know. You know, like right now I'm working. I'm working on five cases in the. I have one case that I got dreams last night. You know, I never know. So it's different for me. That's how I know the forensics is a calling for me because, like, I don't pick my cases. Like, there's so many people out there in the world who need help, you know, and they're asking for help, but I just ask God, the universe to bring me who I need to help. And then that's how it happens to me. They'll get a phone call or an email, you know, and. Because I would be exhausted, you know, there's just too many. And I forget why I'm telling you this, but anyways, I had a dream last night and, yeah, I never know. Like, how I know it was a calling is because I'm getting dreams and I'm not asking for them. It's like this is something new with me that just started happening like eight years ago, you know, Like, I would always get the information. Actually, I've made a blueprint with the forensics as well, because nobody taught me how to do it. Like, I knew how to connect with mediumship and as a intuitive, you know, but to actually make a blueprint of how I receive everything. So, like, for instance, I had a woman. I always use this case when I'm podcast because it's my most memorable one. This woman comes in into my studio and I said, okay, please, I know it's for forensics. And I said, okay, please don't tell me anything. I get her information first because everyone's suspect. I've actually had suspects come in for information for me to make themselves look good and stuff. Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

So.

[Sheila Marie]

But universe shows me I need to contact somebody, you know. So anyways, I get their information and I said, just give me the person's first name. She gives me. I didn't know it at the time, but a little boy's first name. And I said, okay, I'm gonna sit down with you and I'm going to draw and see what spirit gives me. So when I channel. It's like a deep meditation. And you know how to do that. And so I'm just receiving images or I'm feeling words, I'm getting information. And what I do is I just draw, draw it, jot it down. Jot, jot, jot, jot, jot, you know, so I've got like 50 papers and I'm doing it in front of her. I'm like, don't say anything, okay? And so then I'll tell her I said, this is what I got from spirit. If any of it resonates with you, just put your hand up. So I tell her everything that I got. She's over there balling her eyes up. She goes, I understand. Everything I said, okay? Don't tell me anything. I said, in a week time, I'm gonna see if I get any dreams and then we'll meet again. Sure enough, I got a dream. Actually, it was for two weeks straight. Every night. My. My husband. I was married at the time, he'd be waking me up. You having one of those? Because I'd be screaming, you have one of those dreams. Like, my God. So I'm writing everything down.

[Alex Ferrari]

Rough for your husband, I gotta say.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, he's having a rough situation. We're not married anymore.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, I know it must have been a rough. I'm trying to. I'm being empathetic to your husband here. All of a sudden, like, someone's like. Who's really grounded is like, this is all crazy. And all of a sudden, the woman next year, I'm like, you're having the nightmares again.

[Sheila Marie]

It was unbelievable.

[Alex Ferrari]

You're talking to the spirits again. I can't take this.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, it was really bad and. It was really bad. I ended up with my own bedroom. And it's true.

[Alex Ferrari]

Snoring to another. You were having night terrors? Essentially.

[Sheila Marie]

Basically. So this little boy was coming to me, and I'll never forget it.

[Alex Ferrari]

And so he came to you in the dreams?

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. I didn't know it was a little boy. I'm just going, what I'm seeing, right? And I would see the top of his hair, which was like dirty blonde and out. Oh, and I was in. I'll give you the state. That's all I'm gonna say. Because I never talk about the names or anything. I was in New York City. Okay, okay.

[Alex Ferrari]

You were living in New York City?

[Sheila Marie]

No, in my dream, I was in New York City. And I could see all the buildings and everything. And I. I can still see it now, like, when I talk to you like the files? Because everything's vibration. Everything's in akashic records, which is basically memory, you know? And so I'm visualizing it now, and I could see it. And the little boy was showing me what he did that day. And then I even wrote down when I drew. When I. After I saw the visual, I wrote down words and stuff, and I'm like, what the hell is a pagoda? Pagoda. Pagoda, Yeah. I didn't even know what that means. It's like a corner store. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Bodega.

[Sheila Marie]

You mean? Yeah, bodega.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, bodega.

[Sheila Marie]

And I wrote it down. I'm like, I don't know what that is. I keep on going. And I was visual. I'll never forget. I'll tell you a little. So I was in there, and the little boy took me into a room. It was a small room. And I looked on the floor, and then I heard a door close behind me, you know, And. And I looked, and the next thing I know, I look on the wall, and there is a picture of a school bus. And I'm like, oh. Next thing I know, I'm outside near a river. I'm like, what's going on? Well, apparently, I was in a freezer. Yeah, I was in a freezer. And I'm like, oh, I can freak out. And. Okay, so spirits, like, right now, I'm connected. Like, in the beginning, I used to have to be in deep meditation, but, like, now, all the time. All the time. And spirit's telling me I was on. On a bridge, and I heard loud as day. I don't think it was a little boy's name, but it was voice, but it was a higher voice. It gave me a number of a street. Yeah. And I'm like, okay. So I wrote it down. So turns out that that was a lot of the information. And apparently, make a long story short, this went on for two weeks. It was just. I'm blown away. I'm. I'm like, wow, this is really cool. I'm like, wow, really? God, you know, what's this? You know? And, like. And I draw the maps and everything, but I can see it visually. Oh. If I could take you in my head. You know what I mean? And so I do the best. I try, you know? And I got all the information, and turns out they gave me a lineup. Now, when I was walking into this corner store, I saw this person's face.

[Alex Ferrari]

Oh, my gosh.

[Sheila Marie]

And I drew it best I can. Sometimes I can draw when I'm in spirit because I'M channeling, like, I can't draw an apple right now, but if I'm channeling, it'll be the beautiful apple you've ever seen. You know what I mean? Because spirit's coming through me. I'm allowing myself to just kind of relax a little bit. But honestly, it's a different. It's a vibration is what it is, you know? And so anyways, I see the person's face, and anyways, they. I give them the copy, and this is him. This is him 300%. Okay. So they. They give me. I'm working with a missing persons unit in New York, and they give me a lineup of three people. Which one is it? I said, it's him, 300%. Oh, my gosh, it's him. I've seen him in my. Oh, my gosh, it's him. They're like, no telling you right now, that's the dude. That's the dude. It sure enough, they were wrong, and they got a confession out of the guy. He's in for life now. Yeah. And what are the odds of that? But they can't. Sometimes they can't use me in court, but they'll come like, well, they can't.

[Alex Ferrari]

Use you in court.

[Sheila Marie]

They can't use me, but they get all the information they need, then they use it, then they find it, they.

[Alex Ferrari]

Figure out how to connect it.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And so, yeah, it's kind of like.

[Alex Ferrari]

Doing an illegal tap. Like, you can't use it in court, but that information is really valuable.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And this. This case was a cold case of 39 years.

[Alex Ferrari]

Shut up.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. Yeah. And I was like, wow.

[Alex Ferrari]

Wow. So you were just in. You're just kind of like a. A spectator.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. Oh. That's all I am. I'm just watching.

[Alex Ferrari]

You're like, wow, that was pretty cool.

[Sheila Marie]

Even though you're doing it. Last night I had Tom Brady in my dream. No, but I really did.

[Alex Ferrari]

You are from. You are from Boston art. Yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

But it actually meant something on a case, so. But not Tom. But I said, wow, what did that. Who knew that I would. He would be a link for me? But, yeah. So you just never know. I'm. I'm a spectator. And what keeps me going and what keep. Keeps me doing it is the adrenaline rush, you know, I'm like, oh, well.

Let me ask you something. I want to. I've never asked this question before, but it's. It's. It came to me as I opening.

[Sheila Marie]

And I'll just have to say I'm so honored to be on your show because you are really the bridge to consciousness for everyone right now. No, it really. Yeah, so all this information that you get, especially in something like a cold case or a missing person's case or working in forensics, I'm interested to figure, I want to hear what your thoughts are. You know, we are here incarnated in this life, right? And we're playing this game.

[Sheila Marie]

We're life.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, Life is a game. We're in the matrix. We are characters. We are avatars, if you will. Yeah, we don't dodge bullets, but. Well, but, but that's what we're doing here.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

And there are rules to this game, very strict rules that certain things you have to. If you're here, you got to play with these rules. Now, medium psychics, channelers, they seem to be a little bit outside the rules or playing by different sets of rules. Meaning that they can connect to the other side. Most people aren't aware they can.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

But. But they're connecting. My question is with something like a missing person's case or something like 40 years, 39 years later, why is spirit involving itself in solving that case where. You know what I mean? Like, shouldn't they just let the game play out without interfering?

[Sheila Marie]

Right. I understand.

[Alex Ferrari]

And I don't mean that interfering in a bad way. I'm just saying, like, involving themselves. Right. And that goes for, you know, specifically something in forensics. I understand you want to talk to your grandmother who just died.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

And that's a different conversation. Or like, hey, you know, where the. Where's the insurance policy? Oh, it's in the third drawer.

[Sheila Marie]

I love those calls sometimes that I get. Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

But the forensic stuff, I'm like, why are they involving themselves if this is part of the journey of the soul to experience a loss of a child or a loss of a loved one or being involved in a case that. That they were caught up in something. I'm just curious, you know.

[Sheila Marie]

No one's ever asked me that before. What a. What a fabulous question. So my. I'm gonna just ask spirit to come and just kind of let me speak through spirit. But my interpretation of that is that it's all about connection still. Because there's people that are living, that are. I feel like it's their connection to this. So when we pass, we. We leave these bodies, you know, we, quote, go to heaven. Right. We leave these bodies, and we're still connected. We're still connected to everyone around us. It's just a different vibration. It's like walking into the next room, you know? And so I'm not sure. I mean, I always say I'm not God, but my interpretation of that is these people that are still here on our human plane, I feel like they're trying to help them. I guess I understand what you're saying, because everything happens. Yes, life happens, but it's all about choices, too. Is it because those people are making choices because they want it to. To come? You see, so the people that are missing their child for 39 years, whatever they're asking the universe, they're calling in. They're calling in the universe. And ho, ho, here I am, the light over here, you know, and that's, that's what I'm feeling about that.

[Alex Ferrari]

So I get that. But like, why. So if I'm having a session with you, I'm going to go, can my grandfather give me the lottery ticket numbers, please?

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

They won't interfere that way because that's a major change in my life. Life that would be like if tomorrow I won the billion dollar Powerball. Life is going to change for me, right? Of course it's going to change for anybody.

[Sheila Marie]

I, I honestly. Yeah, yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

I mean, one is different, one's more emotional.

[Sheila Marie]

I want to say, you know, we have choices, right? Everything in life is a choice. Yeah. Free will, right? Yeah, free will and choice. And when we make a new choice, it creates a new outcome. Yeah, absolutely. And it can change like that. That's why sometimes future you can see, but you know, like in your head. But it's all about those choices that that person still has to make to get to it.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's probable.

[Sheila Marie]

Yes.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's the probability that. That's why I always tell people that when they're like, whoa, how come I talked to a psychic? And they got it wrong. I'm like, because you have free choice. They give you a. In our best estimation, if you continue to go down this path.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

You're going to get the job in New York.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

But you all of a sudden might, you know, go another way. And all of a sudden this change.

[Sheila Marie]

When we're talking about this, I possibly, I may, I don't know, because I never really asked the universe did I make these choices before I came here to be a forensic medium. Well, they certainly were setting me up for it because it was a life purpose calling for me and I recognized it, you know what I mean? And then they set up all the key players in my family, my mother, things that happened in me, the environment you were in. Yeah, everything for this. So they were priming for that. Whether I, I, whether I accepted it or not was up to me. You know what I mean? And really, what was the question again?

[Alex Ferrari]

But I want to point something out here because you just triggered something in me that I think is really important. You could have, you could have, you were going to end up here regardless in your life. You're going to be a forensic medium, but they didn't place you or you didn't choose to be placed in a hippie commune in California where all of this would have been. You would have never been Catholic, you would have been Raised in the spiritual world, you might have had a medium for a mom, you know, and a dad who was a psychic or a channeler, and. But that wouldn't have set you up for what you're doing now in the way you're doing it now. You needed to be raised Catholic.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

You needed to be raised in Boston.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Because that environment is very different. And prepped you for something like this. So you and I mirror in this way.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

I was brought up. I was brought up. We both brought up Catholic.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

I went into the film industry. Spent 20 years in the film industry. 25 years in film industry. I'm 30 now, but 25 years in film industry. Bumping my head, making a living, doing work, all that kind of stuff. But always angry that I never got to another place. And I was like, why are you putting me through this? I kept asking, why are you putting me through this? So you. Same thing. 15 years as a police officer, going through all of that. Enjoyable, I'm sure. And you had a good time. You did it for 15 years. So it was fine. But it was prepping you for the next stage in your life. Both of us were being prepped for the next stage in our life, where all of a sudden, you became a forensic medium. I became a podcaster. Both insane, right? Both insane. You know, I already ran. I really ran away from the circ. Become a filmmaker. You were a police. You were more grounded. You were a police officer. And then. Then we became. I became a podcast. You became a forensic medium.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

But then you became a medium. But then the forensic aspect of it was, oh, look at all the work you did in the police world.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Then that makes sense. And now as a podcaster, I opened up the spiritual show, and now I have a production company doing spiritual content for our own streaming service. And I was like, oh, that's why I did this. That's why. So it's. It's a lesson for the audience listening. That's like, just because you're going through something that you might not understand yet.

You have to trust the universe.

[Alex Ferrari]

You have to trust that the universe has a plan for you.

[Sheila Marie]

Yes, absolutely.

[Alex Ferrari]

If you want to go even more meta, you have a plan for you.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

That you decided that you have to go through this to get to the other side.

[Sheila Marie]

Right. Y.

[Alex Ferrari]

And. And to do things that you can't see yet.

[Sheila Marie]

Right. Yeah.

You know, when I. When I did the. When I went through. Toughest time in my life was. And I've said this so many times, I showed Up. Please forgive me, everybody. When I almost made a $20 million movie for the mafia when I was in my 20s.

[Sheila Marie]

I worked with a mafia before.

[Alex Ferrari]

I'm sure you have that pie. My first book is all about that experience. But that was one of the most traumatic years of my life.

[Sheila Marie]

Life.

[Alex Ferrari]

And went through a whole lot of things, but without that experience that I was. I obviously set myself up to do before I came here. That gave me the empathy that allowed me to want to help others. And that's when I started. My first podcast was about helping other filmmakers, which then turned into. Which then was the bridge.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Into.

[Sheila Marie]

And I want to say it's all about higher frequency and vibration too. You know what I mean? Because you're on a. It's like, you know, you. You manifest it at the same time. In a sense.

I had no idea I was doing episodes.

But even though you don't know. You know what I mean? Yes. The universe is. It's almost like you're the chosen one. That's what it feels like. Right. You know.

Well, you're the chosen one of your own story.

So you know what I'm like a mission. It feels like a mission.

Calling is interchangeable. When you realize, oh, this is what I'm supposed to do with this life.

Then everything changes.

You know, before then. You're bumping around.

I want to say also it's about letting go of the ego. Well, yeah. Wants certain things that's so important to let go of the ego and trust the universe that they'll open the doors for you and that they'll bring what you need to the table.

Well, that's the thing I wanted to be Spielberg. We. Anyone who ever.

[Sheila Marie]

I could see you as Spielberg.

[Alex Ferrari]

Anybody who ever wants to direct the film wants.

[Sheila Marie]

You can. You can direct my film.

[Alex Ferrari]

They want to be the success of Steven Spielberg, you know, or of those kind of ET all that song. We all want to go there. And when you don't get there as a filmmaker, you get very frustrated.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

So every. This is that. This is the plight of every single director out there. Even directors who are super.

[Sheila Marie]

You're Gonna get there just in a different way.

[Alex Ferrari]

Right. That's my point. Like, you get there in a different way. So there was opportunities that I want. My ego wanted me to be a big time, big budget movie director because I only saw this path, right?

[Sheila Marie]

Yep.

[Alex Ferrari]

And I was following that path for years and it didn't work out. And all of a sudden, as a podcaster, it starts to get in. And now I'm starting to do other productions, I'm starting to do other things.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And I'm like, they're giving you much bigger responsibility than what he's doing.

And now back to the show. Well, yeah, I mean, yeah, to a certain extent, absolutely. It's just fat. But it's fascinating what I'm trying to illustrate. What you said, the ego.

Yeah.

Letting go of what you want to happen.

That's right. Like if there's no such thing as.

[Alex Ferrari]

Time, there's no such thing as time. Listen, I don't know about you. But when I was growing up, I wanted to date this one person. I wanted this one person to be the love of my life. And then like. And I wanted it so bad. Right. And then you fast forward a few years when that didn't happen, you're like, oh, thank God. I just dodged a bullet.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, that's right.

[Alex Ferrari]

So if everything we, if the, if we were given everything the ego wanted, we would be self destruct. We would destroy ourselves.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

So the unit. There has to be a guiding. Something's guiding us.

[Sheila Marie]

It's a need more what you need, the universe will give you as opposed.

[Alex Ferrari]

To what you want.

[Sheila Marie]

Right, right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Because I've realized in my few times around the planet, around the universe, if you will, in this life that what I want is not always necessarily what I need.

[Sheila Marie]

Absolutely. I think I learned that in pre Cana Catholic.

[Alex Ferrari]

I just kind of let go now and I just kind of. And there's still things I want to happen, of course, but when they don't.

[Sheila Marie]

Show up, I'm like, you didn't need it.

[Alex Ferrari]

Apparently it wasn't supposed to be that way. And there's a better way around the corner. And that's the kind of, of way I walk through life now.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Don't get me wrong. If something doesn't happen exactly the way I want it, sometimes I'm like, son of a. Especially in traffic, you know, but within certain things, like, man, why didn't that video do better? Or why didn't that thing that we tried to do do better? Or why didn't this happen and it.

[Sheila Marie]

Needed to happen to make, make it what you want happen? Does that make sense? So I'm feeling still, you're going to be big like Steven Spielberg. I just feel that this is the foundation that's getting you there. And it's. But it's going to be bigger than that. And already it is becoming that. That's what I'm feeling. That's what spirit's telling me. So I appreciate that. Yeah. So keep going with the flow because the universe is providing for you because you're receiving it and there. And you're sending it to everyone. And it's one. It's beautiful.

Look, if, if, if someone would have told you as a teenager that you would be a forensic medium.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh my gosh.

[Alex Ferrari]

And I. If someone had told me, I'm gonna podcast, like, first of all, what the hell's a podcast? Because they didn't exist back then.

This is true.

Not at all.

What they're like, it's kind of like a radio show. I'm like, what? Yeah, but it's kind of like a TV show.

It would make no sense to me. But it's. It's a bigger lesson for people listening that you have to let go. And it. It's as cliche as it is. Let go. Let God.

Because if you let go, things will present themselves in a much better way.

Absolutely.

Than you would have imagined. And it's not always specifically pleasant.

Well, this is true.

That is the key to this.

[Sheila Marie]

It's like a car battery. You need the negative and the positive to come together to go forward.

Right, right.

Fear is false evidence appearing real, you know, or sale.

You need the negative and the positive to go.

And as a. As a soul experiencing this lifetime, you need both polarities.

Absolutely.

[Alex Ferrari]

In order to move forward. Because without the negative, you can't appreciate the positive, and without the negatives, you don't have the challenges.

I always tell my clients, you know, I find myself being a psychiatrist sometimes along with being a reader as well. But I always tell them, you know, look for the gift and look for the blessing in the negative. Don't always look at it as a punishment. Once you look and find the gift of the blessing in it, it'll come back to the positive for you. And you look at it with gratitude, you know.

[Alex Ferrari]

Well, yeah, that. That experience with the mob, for me, I look back with love.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Absolute love. And gratitude for that experience.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

I didn't. The day it happened, I was two years in depression afterwards.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, wow. Yeah, I know how that feels. Yeah. Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

I met the biggest movie stars in the world. I was flown out to la. I was hanging out with all these big things. I was 26. While my life was being threatened on a daily basis by soccer.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, my gosh.

[Alex Ferrari]

So do you see what I mean?

Going back, looking at it, going, my God, that was like, you know, I.

Have to tell you sometime a couple of times my publicist has gotten in Hollywood, I guess I'm not going to name anybody, but two or three people wanted to do my movies this and that. They want to do stuff and. But the problem is I. I said no because they wanted me to unfold the exact name and the places of the cases. I'm like, do you realize that these cases, even though they're solved, they're still living?

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah. You can't do that.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

I'm like, names have to change.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. I go, I. I have a family. I want to live tomorrow at least, you know. I go, I can't do that. And I've had people say, oh, come on, do it for the money. I'm like, I'm not doing this for the money.

[Alex Ferrari]

For the money, yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

And I'm like, I'm not doing.

[Alex Ferrari]

Generally when someone says that, everyone run away.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, exactly. Yeah. I'm like, not doing it. I said. I said, someday, someone's. If. If it's meant to be, then I'm supposed to show what I do to people. It will be presented properly, you know? And I go, I'm not going it to do to sell my soul. So I go, that's not what I'm doing. I'm here to help people, you know? And it's really funny. I just recently became an international Torch for Peace ambassador. So I went, yeah, right. And one of my clients, she was in the. Oh, my gosh. She's. She's running it. And she did the. Oh, God, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I don't have the right names, but she. She'd had another one before that. But it wasn't for peace. It was for violence. Stop the violence is what it was. And so they asked me, would you like to be ambassador? I'm like, sure. And I got to go excited. Like, some things good happened for me that I got to go and to Washington D.C. last February and say a prayer for all the world's children at the cathedral. Yeah. In front of a thousand people. I'm like, oh. And. And it was really awesome because I downloaded the dream from Spirit, you know what I mean? And so I wrote it all down. So I'm known as their spiritual advisor, you know, because if we say psychic medium, they'll be like, woohoo, she's awesome. You know, people still judge, people still criticize because they're so conditioned and so socialized to think if you don't live this way, there's something wrong with you. In their religions, this and that. And I'm just like, oh, religion is nice, but not the religious part of it. The spiritual part is nice about it. You know what I mean?

[Alex Ferrari]

Would you agree with me, as a Catholic, as a recovering Catholic, that I'm very grateful for being raised Catholic?

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, absolutely.

[Alex Ferrari]

I want people to be clear about that. I was very angry at the church afterwards because when you start realizing the lies and the manipulation and the fear.

[Sheila Marie]

And all that stuff, that's all man made.

[Alex Ferrari]

The man Made stuff I was very angry with for many, many years. I'm not anymore. But I was very, very grateful for being raised Catholic because it introduced me to the idea that there's something bigger than myself.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, my gosh. This is the reason why I sent my kids to parochial school. I sent them for the discipline, but they needed to know there was something better than who they are. Bigger and better the universe, you know, than their ego. That's the reason why I sent them.

[Alex Ferrari]

Now it is wrapped with a lot of other stuff.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, absolutely. But it was so important to have faith in a higher power, you know?

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, exactly. Exactly.

[Sheila Marie]

And then I actually was baptized. I have to tell you, my whole family was Catholic, but I wasn't. So I was. So my parents divorced, and so I was baptized Episcopalian. My father brought me up in a Lutheran church with his sister.

[Alex Ferrari]

Meditating.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, yeah, right. That's right.

[Alex Ferrari]

And doing hypnotism.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, that's in the Lutheran part. And then when I got married, I was a convert to Catholicism because I wanted to be like my family, because my whole family was Catholic. My nana, my grandmother. I was brought up Catholic in my family, but not in the churches. And then when I became Catholic, my husband decided he didn't want to go to church anymore. So I did that route myself, being Catholic with a good Catholic girl. Yeah, right. And then I started getting into the spiritualist, which is because I started dabbling into mediumship, and that was nice. That's where I started teaching, actually. Connection and. But what really resonated me was Buddhism. So I was into the Buddhism and chanting Namya, holding geikyo, you know, all that Lotus Sutra. And now I'm into the Hinduism, so I'm doing all the mantras. So it's along the way, again, the foundation to coexist in the global community so I can be helpful to other people and stuff. That's again, you know.

[Alex Ferrari]

You want to hear the first time I ever heard that, the Buddhist chant.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, yeah, I would love to hear it.

[Alex Ferrari]

The first time I ever experienced Buddhism. And this is the weirdest thing was watching the movie what's Love Got to Do With It? Tina Turner's movie.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, Tina Turner.

[Alex Ferrari]

Oh, that really. That really rough. That profound movie about Tina Turner's life and the whole Ike and the beating and all how she came out. She was chant. Angela Bassett was doing Buddhist chanting in the movie. And I was like, what? And she was talking about Buddhism.

[Sheila Marie]

She does Nichiren Buddhism. Nam myho renge kyo. That's why I remember beautiful YouTubes on it.

[Alex Ferrari]

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So that was my introduction to Buddhism.

[Sheila Marie]

And Herbie Hancock too.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, exactly. It's, it's, it's, it's pretty fascinating how our journey, like I started, started. I started learning about, I learned before I got into the next level Sold World. Yeah, I always was curious about other religions, other philosophies, and I listened and read about everything. So I went into Buddhism, Confucianism, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, and I just started exploring all of them, even Judaism, the Kabbalah and also Kabbalah too.

I studied that.

[Alex Ferrari]

So I started studying as much as I could because I was just, I was just trying to figure, I'm still trying to figure it out, like, right. But I'm like, oh, wait a minute. All of these have, all these roads are the same place.

[Sheila Marie]

That's right.

But the reason why I'm saying that is because, you know, a lot of times mediums and psychics, you know, will come in and they'll. They'll be the full.

They play God.

They're not only they play God, but they play the character of a psychic medium. They play the part.

And they're, you know, they're dressed the way you think. A psychic medium.

They speak like a psychic medium would speak. Traditionally, the New Age movement, of course.

You know, my kids don't have it either. They beat it out of them in Catholic school.

You have a slight Boston accent. That's true. And you are pretty real and grounded.

But you also come from being a police officer for 15 years and in law enforcement for 15 years.

Want to hear something funny? I'll tell you something. And when I was in the police academy, I was a special state police officer, and I was. Was one of two girls in the unit. And I have a nervous, you know, adhd, but I have. If that's what they want to call it, I just call it high strung. Anyways, I have. When I'm nervous, I laugh. So I'm standing there.

[Alex Ferrari]

You've been laughing a lot.

[Sheila Marie]

Yes, and I do. I am nervous. I can't say I'm not. There's a lot of lights around me. Anyways, I'm standing there and they're like, what is it, Bates? That was my main. What is it, Bates? I'm like. They're like, what do you say? I'm like, sir, yes, sir. And I start laughing and they're like, what's wrong with you? And I couldn't stop laughing. Well, one of the DI's, he got so angry, he picked up a desk and threw it across the room. Not kidding you. He goes, tomorrow, seven o' clock in the morning. I had to be there and run three miles by myself every day for two weeks because he was punishing me. For laughing, right? Yeah, for laughing. And then he apologized on my graduation. He goes, spates, he goes, I'm gonna give you 100. I'm like, what? He goes, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize you had a nervous tip. Like laughing. And he did 100 push ups for me. I'm thinking, oh well, someone recognized it. I didn't even know I had it either at the time. You know, it was pretty funny.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's kind of like the Joker, he couldn't stop laughing.

[Sheila Marie]

You know, I'm pissed if I'm silent. Right, right. Yeah, right. If I'm saying nothing, there's something wrong. But thank you, you're so sweet.

[Alex Ferrari]

Oh no, it's true. Because I think, I think, you know, one of the reasons we wanted to have you on the show was because of your background.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, thank you.

Because.

And that's the story right there.

Well, yeah, because a lot of people need to see themselves absolutely. In these kind of conversations, you know, because if you see something, it's great to have a guru on. I've had them, they've sat in that chair, you know, and having mystics on and having quantum physicists on and having, you know, doctors on and stuff. But it's really important for people to see themselves.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

In these conversations. They're like, wait a minute, she was Catholic, she's from Boston, I'm from Boston, I know people from Boston. It's a more grounded conversation and that's what we like to do here. We want to demystify this a bit more and go, no, it's everyone's everybody.

[Sheila Marie]

And that's my mission. Everybody's able to connect everyone. There's not one person that can't. If they're allowing, if they willing to do the work, in doing the work, they have to trust their higher power, their higher face, their higher consciousness, the universe, whatever that is. They have to let go of their ego, you know, and have faith in their higher power. And also control people don't even. That's another thing I love about teaching is people don't even realize they're controlling their life even through visions and stuff. Because there's different forms of control. You know, once they let go of the control, they allowing their higher power 300% to do the work for them. There's no trick in it. All you have to do is just be when you be and when you allow yourself, allow the universe to do it.

[Alex Ferrari]

It.

[Sheila Marie]

It's like that.

[Alex Ferrari]

But with that said. With that said, and I want people. Cuz people get confused with this sometimes.

[Sheila Marie]

Okay.

[Alex Ferrari]

Which is just letting the universe be, which is awesome. But you still have to work, right? You still have to get up and do it.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh yeah, absolutely.

[Alex Ferrari]

You have to be a participant, an active participant in your life. You just can't sit like. Well, I'm going to wait for Steven Spielberg to call me to give me that. That next shot.

You got to keep doing your thing.

Yes. The more you practice, the more you see.

In other words, don't sit and wait. You walk and wait.

Because you're walking, and then as you're walking, the next step, you don't even know what's coming.

It's not that scary. No. I'm cheesing. We've got good barbecue. Yeah, I'm vegetarian. It's true.

I'm vegetarian as well. But they still have a good one.

They have great sauces here. Great sauce. So I wanted to ask you with. With everything that you've been seeing, you know, all the. The stories, all the things. I'm assuming that you tap in for yourself sometimes.

Sometimes.

But my friends always say, why don't you do it with everything? I'm like, because I need to live life. I. I'm here as a human being. Right. And I need to have the human experience and the mediumship. In the beginning, when I first started, I was always going in because I really wasn't. My mediumship wasn't where it is now, you know, So I was practicing all the time, everywhere. But that was not good because I was picking up on everything in the universe. It was exhausting, you know, and as. I forget what I was talking about. Sorry. And so now what I do is I make sure that I'm doing my medium shape when I'm sitting down. I make my intent to the universe, and that's when I work. You know what I mean?

So there is a close sign.

There is, yeah. But honestly, I can. I don't ever really close. It's always there, like, so.

[Alex Ferrari]

But so when you say mediumship, you know, I want to clarify for people. So you don't. Are you seeing ghosts around or spirit around you?

[Sheila Marie]

No, I'm not looking. Okay.

[Alex Ferrari]

But do you.

[Sheila Marie]

I could if I wanted to.

[Alex Ferrari]

So if you open, I Could go like that. If you open up and you're like, okay, who's in the room right now?

Oh, yeah, I can see already. But. But because I just asked. So it's always about your ask and your intent.

Okay, I have to ask. Who's hanging around.

So there is an older woman on your right side. She's older. She always wore dresses. She never wore pants. And she's like this laughing. She's giggling. She's got a pot and I don't know, like, there's a pot. And you know how a spoon. She's trying to feed you and she's showing me pearls. And then behind you there's a man and he's not very tall. Maybe about five six, five eight. And he's got big thick hands and he's older. He's a gentleman and he's got dark jet black hair. So I see the two of them. Yeah.

I'll tell you who these people are in a minute.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, really? Oh, let me give you messages. I could go like that.

[Alex Ferrari]

I don't know. I don't want to do a reading on the show. I'm just curious.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. So, yeah. So that's who I'm seeing around you. Because I asked. Because I asked.

[Alex Ferrari]

Those are both my grandparents. Oh, they literally. You describe them exactly.

[Sheila Marie]

And I always ask, like. Like if I. Like if I am going to do a reading, I'll sit there and I'll ask my guides to connect with your guides through the whole intent. But I'll always ask for unique things too, so you'll understand it in a unique way. Everybody has a grandmother, everybody has a grandfather. Right. So you want to find those unique things.

Oh, my God, we're just alike. I have the same. Right. And even the full sail connection. But you always want to find something that's unique. You know what I mean? And so, yeah, so, like, I have a blueprint in that too, you know, because I've acquired it over the years. When I first. When I first learned how to go into the mediumship world, I was taught by a beautiful woman and her name was Rita. And she was very traditional spiritualist, old school, kind of like. Like the witches and all that kind of stuff.

Wicca, almost kind of.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, Wicca.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

Well, I wasn't into that. I was Roman Catholic. I was terrified pagan. Yeah, yeah. And I was like, terrified, right?

[Alex Ferrari]

Oh, yeah, yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

But she was yell at me, like, in class. She'd screaming and People like Sheila, why are you letting her yell? I'd be in tears, crying. And I called my mother up. My mom lived in Oklahoma at the time. And I said, mom, I'm not going to take that class anymore, that mediumship class. I just can't do it. She's like, she has. You go to that class and you learn everything you can from that woman. I'm like, okay, fine. So when I started teaching at the spiritualist church, I made it a totally new way of teaching. Not old school, more contemporary where everyone is. It's just different. They're not crying, you know, we're not yelling at them. Yeah. And I know she even told me, if I'm yelling at you, it means I love you. I'm like, it was her way of teaching. Yeah. And I learned great from her. Because of her, I am what I am today. You know what I mean? And I'm great, very grateful for that.

But yeah, so I established my own Way of, contemporary way of teaching. And I just noticed the people growing into enlightenment when they start doing it, and then they go off and do their own. Usually I have, like, I also do mentorship too. So, like, it's like just one on one. And usually a student will stay for a year or two, and then they just grow into these beautiful, you know, souls. Yeah. And, But I'll knock them out at the knees if the ego's in the way. Way I don't want them in class. I'm like, it's okay to be proud of yourself, but this is not about you. This is about the universe channeling through you. And that's the responsibility. You know what I mean? I go, you can do what you want with it, but if you're going to be in my class, it's not about you.

So the question I asked is like, so sometimes you obviously read for yourself. And I've heard from multiple, Multiple Ch. No, fine. So multiple channelers and psychics and mediums.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Say it's very difficult sometimes for them to read for themselves.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, for a reading. Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

So, like, like to read your future.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, like, yeah, I, I, Yeah, it can be hard because emotionally I'm connected, you know, I have to really step out of the box.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's, it's, it's, it's really difficult. And it's, I've heard, I've heard from very dear friends of mine who, who are channelers. They're like, I can't.

[Sheila Marie]

That's when you, the universe won't. Yeah, well, I'll ask them questions here and there, this and that, but I won't sit down. What I, what I also ask, really, this is like, like my, my trademark. Show me in two different ways that I'm not thinking. So I'll know, so I'll see. Like when I'm doing forensics, I'll see a flash of something that I'm not thinking. Subconsciously, I'm like, oh. And then I have to interpret it and then show me something else I'm not thinking. Oh. So then you see what I'm saying? So that's, that's my trick to doing it for myself.

You know, I want to dig into something here because this is, I, I feel this is something that I have questions about. And I think there's a mystery around mediumship and being a psychic and being a medium. Channeling is a little different. But just, let's stick with psychic mediumship. A lot of people think that there's a voice and there can be A voice telling you things in your. You could audibly hear it or you could hear it in your mind. There's depending on. There's multiple Claires, of course.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. The Claire's.

[Alex Ferrari]

The Claire's. There's multiple Claires. You can smell. There's multiple different ways you can. You can get information. But where people. I think people don't even know that they're doing it because they've never been explained that this is that. So dreams is base level, I think. And please correct me if I'm wrong.

We all dream, right. And a lot of us have our grandparents show up in our dreams, or loved ones show up in our dreams, or we get messages in our dreams. So that's step one, that's layer one, because we are naturally gone. You leave our bodies at night, right?

Yeah, they're already doing it. Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

But when. When someone sits down in a meditation. And this has happened to me so often, and the more I talk to psychic mediums, the more I do these conversations, I'm starting to realize that I get stuff that comes in.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Meditators have been telling me this for years. They don't have to be a psychic medium, but they'll get something called a download or information that comes in or an image that pops up.

[Sheila Marie]

Up.

[Alex Ferrari]

And this is where the ego pops in that says, oh, you just made that up. But sometimes things are popping in. I'm like, I didn't think of that. I would have never thought of that.

[Sheila Marie]

This is what I teach in my classes. Yeah. So the whole key to understanding the connection. Yes. You have your. All your classes. And what I tell everybody in class is that we do everything naturally. I don't even use definitions because it's a clear feeling, clear sense smell, whatever it may be. Getting to know your universe inside you. I call it your inner light system, you know? And so, like, if you go. If you go into meditation and you start seeing things, of course, what we need to do. And even when we're using psychic mediumship as well, we have to realize, did we think it subconsciously or did our minds think it, or what would spirit show it to us, you know? And again. And that's where you have to be truly honest with yourself and come from a place of trust within yourself and the universe to know. Did you think that subconsciously, earlier in the day? Are you creating that or are you thinking that? And that's what I teach in my classes, to recognize when that's happening. And also, interpretation can be very tricky, too. I always tell Everyone, when you see something, if you weren't subconsciously thinking, what was the first feeling you had? That's always what it is, because your mind will start creating as well, too, you know?

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, of course.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And so, yes, you are receiving stuff. So how you know is, again, if you're a medium, then you go, okay, I saw this. Okay, so you're communicating through mediumship, so I'll have to tell you. So when I first started, I didn't like the word psychic or mediumship. Matter of fact, I hate it. And I still don't really care for it very much.

[Alex Ferrari]

Intuitive.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. I mean, intuitive. Yeah, yeah. Yes. I'm connecting, right? And so I had a high. I struggled with that, you know, And I don't know why I'm telling you that. I forget what I was talking about. Oh, yeah. So when we start connecting, I'm trying to think, where was I going with this? Oh, yeah, yeah. So when we're in mediumship, we have to ask ourselves again the two questions. Show me something. I'm not thinking, you know, or what I'll do is, like, say you're in a deep meditation and guaranteed you're going to see something. Because what is the first thing what I do when I teach people is we do meditation because it connects you to your inner light system, and it allows spirit to come in. Right? That was the first experience I had with stuff coming in. And then what happens later on is I teach you how to call it in all the time, you know? So what we want to do is we get into that space. And before I get into that space of meditation, sometimes what I'll do is I'll say, okay, spirit, show me something today that I need to know that I'm not thinking. And then I close my eyes, I get into the river where I like to be, and I'll just sit back and I'll say, okay, show me something I'm not thinking. And then, boom, I'll see something. I'll say, well, I think I was seeing that subconsciously. Show me something else. Because sometimes it's hard to sit back and get relaxed enough.

[Alex Ferrari]

Easy.

[Sheila Marie]

No. And sometimes it is about a focus, too. So, like, for me, if someone's guiding me, like, say you're giving the meditation, it's a little easier because I don't know what's coming next. Do you see what I'm saying? So it's. It's a little easier for me not to think. So thinking is the problem. So the first thing you learn when you're in my classes, or you should learn anyways, is not to think anymore. Matter of fact, when we're in classes, I tell my students, students don't use the word think anymore. Because if you tell me you thought this, guess what that means? You were subconsciously thinking it. Right. So that's the first thing you learn, is not to think anymore. Just allowing to be. Be the observer. Once you're the observer, the spirit. Spirit, meaning the universe will just channel through you, you know, will just give you every download, what you call it, whatever you need.

[Alex Ferrari]

Well, I've spoken to some of the greatest screenwriters, writers in the world, and I always ask that when I, when I, when my old show, I would talk to Oscar winners and things and I go, when you were writing, have you ever experienced something when you start to write and then you are just writing and then afterwards you read it and you're like, wow, that's great. Who wrote that?

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, Automatic writing.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's kind of like automatic writing.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, it's a download.

[Alex Ferrari]

And every, every single great writer I've spoken to.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Said the same thing.

[Sheila Marie]

Absolutely. And you know, Leonardo da Vinci, everybody, they were all channelers. They were channelers, Spirit. Whether they knew it or not, you know, they were getting their inventions that were. They'd get them in dreams. They'd get. They're being divinely inspired. I have this one client of mine who's like a Leonardo, I call him Leonardo. He's got all these inventions and stuff and he's on my concierge or whatever and he calls me and says, okay, Sheila, I got this from Spirit. What are you getting? He's still, he's using spirit. Spirit's downloading with him, you know.

[Alex Ferrari]

You want to hear a quick story? When I started this, and this is an example, this is a first time I kind of felt what we're talking about. Yeah, I was in. I'd have been meditating for many years, but then I was given this task to start Next level. Sold. By my, by my teacher, my spiritual teacher. I've known since I was 23, Connie. She's been on the show multiple times. She is a Spitfire. She's 92 now. And I was so dismissive of this whole idea of next level soul. I was like insane. Why would anyone listen to me? No. What I'm doing, why I'm doing it. Yeah. It's for the greater of the globe.

It's not about money. It's not about money.

Yeah. And that's the reason, what I do for me as well, people say, oh, you could do a gallery and make $10,000. I'm thinking, okay, you know, if I can, that's great. But it's okay if I just do this because. Or whatever I'm doing at the time, that's not as much. Or whatever. I go. Because I'm here to help the people. I'm here to help them connect. I'm here to help them to become who they already, already are. You know, this is this journey of light, of basically, this is like our journey of the human experience, our light inside us, you know?

Know.

[Sheila Marie]

So why not teach people how to mother. Oh, well, they're homeless at this. So what? They're still beings of light too. You know what I mean? It doesn't matter. Everyone, you know, and then I always get the question, well, how come about. What about the bad people, you know, and what about the bad people? All the crimes? And I said, well, you know, people have choice. They can walk in the light or they can walk in the darkness. You know what I mean? It's all about choice as well as beings. Why does that happen? I don't know. You know, I'll tell you what.

[Alex Ferrari]

When I was growing up, there were moments where I could have. I could have gone the other way.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Because of my skills and abilities.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. I could have with my pocketbook.

[Alex Ferrari]

No, I was never. But I was never like that. I never robbed anybody or anything like that, but I could have gone the other way. And my wife always said, she's like, wow, you had the. We all have the capacity.

[Sheila Marie]

Of course we do.

[Alex Ferrari]

Every one of us has the capacity to be the, quote, unquote, good version of ourselves or the negative version or bad versions of ourselves. All of us have the ability. All of us. You know, Fidel Castro, before he took over Cuba, wanted to be a baseball player. If the Yankees would have. Would have gotten him in, I might have not been born.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, I'll see everything. Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Why? I mean, because if. Then my parents wouldn't have been exile.

[Sheila Marie]

Different dimension.

[Alex Ferrari]

They would have never. They would have never met because they met in this states and all this stuff and all of that. So he. If he would have been drafted, I'm not sure what would have happened.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

If it's a different path, if Hitler would have been taken seriously as an artist, he might have not done what he did.

[Sheila Marie]

Right. Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

You know, they're different. Everyone's got a different road. And my wife told me one day, she's like, you just have a good heart. Hurt. You're not capable of going down that road.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Even though you might have the ability to. Which we all do. You just don't have the. You don't have the heart. And it's true, I don't.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. Thank God. You know.

[Alex Ferrari]

Right. But that. But I just didn't have the heart to. Or I didn't have the circumstances in my life to drive me that way.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Whether that be environment, whether that be the programming, whether that be right. Growing up in the wrong.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

All that kind of stuff.

[Sheila Marie]

It's really interesting that you say about love, because honestly, the more I do this, everything's just about the vibration and frequency of love. It's the connection of love. And love comes in different forms too. You know what I mean? But that is the highest vibration. And I think when I first started doing all this intuitive work, I. I had a hard life. My life was not easy. You know, I was in abusive relationships. Yes. I was a police officer or. But I became a rape investigator. Investigator. I had a hard. A hard life. I was abused. I was abducted.

[Alex Ferrari]

You also.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. Oh, yeah. I had some serious bad stuff happen to me. And. And it's okay. I'm okay. And. But at that time, it's really funny that I. I use everything in those times for my cases now. Like, I understand the Mindset of someone who's abused. I understand it because I live it. Yeah. And. But when I. So I started the mediumship, I. It was an adrenaline rush for me. I'm like, wow, this is pure love. The. Because it. You know, the deep meditations, it's the same thing. It's all another dimension. It's all. It's all dimensional. It's all energy. And that feeling of complete love, it changes your life. Life, it's like love. We know it here, but it's. It's. There's nothing like it. So I was. I'm what they call an adrenaline energy junkie, where. That's where I was finding my peace. Because it was almost like going there instead of living this horrible life.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's intoxicating.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And it's an adrenaline. I love it still.

[Alex Ferrari]

You know, for someone watching that's gone through trauma in their lives.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

I think what you've said is very, very interesting because you've gone through. When you were doing the work, trying to help others, you can empathize with them because you went through it.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

And in this life, you needed to go through that.

[Sheila Marie]

That's what I was thinking. I'm like, well, thank God I came out alive and I'm able to help. Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

But there's others who do the same work that didn't have to go through that path. Maybe they did in another life and they're bringing that in with them. But in this life, you needed to go through that.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And it's funny. I'm sorry, I don't mean to interrupt you, but it's funny because people have said to me, well, did you choose to be forensics because you had that trauma? No. You didn't want to do for a. Are you kidding me? Why would I choose everyone to not like me and not want to be part of my life and think I'm a freak? Why the hell would I choose that? You know? But I knew in my heart that I needed to. And I, you know, I rather. And I was in a mill, you know, at the time, and I, you know. What is that? Groupon. You know Groupon.

I remember Groupon.

[Sheila Marie]

And I put a Groupon, and I got all these hits and I told my. I had people come in. They would be sitting on the couch for hours. I'd be booked. It was exhausting.

[Alex Ferrari]

Oh, wait, you did a Groupon for readings?

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. I could have gone out. I could have gone out of business in one day. I mean, it was bad, you know, I don't Know how that works. But my landlord, like, what the hell is going on in there? Yeah. And I.

[Alex Ferrari]

Is it like a scene in Ghost? Like all those people walking?

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, it was crazy.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

And I said to him, I said, yeah, right. And I was like, wow. I go, obviously it doesn't matter anymore. That had to happen to me, that flooding of that. Because I realized how much I was helping people.

[Alex Ferrari]

I just love. I just love. I wish I have seen the ad on the group, like 50% off psychic reading, you know, and people are like, well, that's me.

It is. I want to break Free. But you, you were, you had the courage to kind of step out of the crowd. It's a really. I mean, yeah, I mean, I have, I've been to Boston a few times and I've seen a lot of Boston movies. So I know it's a very tight knit community. Very tough, very hard.

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

And there's no woo.

[Sheila Marie]

No, that's right.

There is no woo this or that. It's.

It's.

It's Boston.

It's no woo whatsoever in Boston.

Like you, you pushed people away. Not push people. People pulled away from you because you're just so weird. It took, it takes a tremendous amount as, as my people say, cojones.

To. To do that. And I have to applaud you for, for really just listening to your inner voice and saying, I have to do this.

Yeah.

Because there's so many people listening right now who are on the fence.

It doesn't have to be Psychic Medium.

It could be starting a business. It could be just going against the group, which is probably the greatest fear.

A human has. Because if you're ousted on an evolutionary standpoint, if you're ousted from the tribe. Tribe you die.

Yeah.

Because you need the tribe to survive. That's. We're wired that way.

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

That's why public speaking is where it's number one.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

Right behind death.

[Sheila Marie]

People are afraid of. It's true.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's. Public speaking is the biggest fear in humanity. And then comes down.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, that's true.

[Alex Ferrari]

For the most part.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Because they're afraid of being ostracized from the tribe.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

And you were ostracized from your tribe.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And it was not easy. And I just had to look forward. And I also knew in my heart I had strong faith that got me through everything. Like.

[Alex Ferrari]

But not. Not the faith you grew up with. Different version of that. Or both.

[Sheila Marie]

Well, no, both. So when I, when I was in those bad relationships, when I was Saint Michael got me through that.

Sure.

You know what I mean? And. And I would. And I would, you know. You know how you get down? Cry. Me, you know, crying. What am I going to do? You know, St. Michael helped me through that, you know, so the saints. So my. I always had a strong faith in God, the universe, whatever it was that was guiding me and leading me. I knew that that higher consciousness, maybe the self consciousness, whatever it is, has got my back.

And because of the way I was, I had things happen to me throughout my young life, all the way, you know, into my 20s. I always had that and I always had signs, you know what I mean? So that's. I look at it this way. When I made that transition, I said, well, you know what? I need to do this because shame on me, people can connect. Shame on me for not teaching people. Connect one I can. And, and not only that, I knew I could help people. And shame on me for not trying, not helping people as well. But I knew that I was being guided. And like I. Through my faith, you know, like, I knew that my faith had my back.

You know, and that is. I want to really spotlight what you just said because it's so important. Your mindset determined the path that you walked. Your mindset is the universe has my back.

Yeah.

I'm being guided, I'm being protected regardless of what's in front of me.

Right.

So even if I'm going through something difficult, there's a reason for it. I might not like it right now.

But you will appreciate it.

And you know, it's not a hunky dory for me all the time. It's not hunky dory for anybody all the time.

Right. Yeah.

But if you come with the mindset, like this is for a reason.

Yeah.

I have to go through this.

Right.

I don't know why I'm going through this, but I understand that this is something I have to go through and that the universe has my best intentions right in mind. Yeah. And that mindset will change your life.

Yeah. You got to have faith 100% in whatever that you believe in the universe, God, Allah, whoever it is, whatever it is, your high conscious. Because that's part of connecting, you know, letting go and letting God in a sense. You're letting go and letting. I use, I don't try to use God for everyone. I say the universe, you know, letting.

[Alex Ferrari]

Go and it's a trigger word.

[Sheila Marie]

Yes. Yeah. So I say letting go and let.

[Alex Ferrari]

Letting universe.

[Sheila Marie]

Letting the universe, you know, your higher consciousness, that's part, you know, I have. Those are part of the keys to connecting to your inner light system. Your inner light system is the energy around you, the chakras, the energy within you, without around you, everywhere.

So what's Thanksgiving like? Like what's that? I have to find out? Like, oh, Sheila's coming.

Well, it's really funny. They all came to me, my family, cuz I was the only girl in the family. Cuz traditional Portuguese, you know, and so everyone would come to me.

And Portuguese, Boston, I love beautiful combo.

And half Italian, half Italian, Portuguese. That's the high strun comes in. I'm like, and.

And the hands. Yeah, yeah, right.

So real quick, before you continue that story about Thanksgiving, you have a rock in your hand.

Of course. Because I'm hitting there, rubbing it.

Yeah. Sometimes you leave it on the table. So can you tell the story of what that was? So if people understand where that rock. Yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, so today, Today what we did. Yeah. I was looking for a rock. I need. Everywhere I go, I always get a rock and I use it for grounding. And it's almost like my nervous rock or I don't know, call it what you will.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's a fidget spinner. Yeah, it's your fidget spinner, essentially.

[Sheila Marie]

And so I always have a rock everywhere I go, wherever I visit, because it's energy, it grounds me. And so today I came and I said, alex, I need a rock. He's like, what? And I'm like, oh, let's go outside. I'm like, you pick the rock. And he's giving me like a brick.

[Alex Ferrari]

No, I gave you like plaster. Like, no, no, that's not going to work.

[Sheila Marie]

That's not it. It has to be a rock from your head to be real. So he found this rock and so I've been rubbing it. It's not dirty anymore. Probably my hands are. But it helps me to ground me. And also it's. I always will have this rock, you know, from my experience with you as well. And yeah, so that's my thing in my studio. I have a big basket of rocks that my students will go and get all over the world. They bring them to me. Oh, you can use this for your readings. Because I always have a rock in my hand. Yeah. And when I travel, instead of buying things, I always ask the universe for a rock. Matter of fact, when I actually had a Studio in Medway, Mass. But I recently relocated and I had a meditation studio there for 12 years. And I had this big chest of rocks and crystals and I was crying. I didn't want my rocks to go. I'm like, okay, I know that sounds weird, but I had such memory with them, you know? And so what I did was, is I asked the universe to bless each rock. And my meal was right next to a river. River. And a small little river. Creek. What you want to call it. And I. I blessed. Asked the universe to bless every rock and crystal. And I was there for an hour throwing them all. They're all in that river now. My landlord knows, but there's nice crystals in there and everything. People might go diving, but they're all in that little river. Chicken Brook. Yeah. That's beautiful. So, yeah. So.

[Alex Ferrari]

All right, so back. So I just wanted to clarify that for people because people are like, why is this woman holding on to a rock?

[Sheila Marie]

You'll always see me doing that and I'll have to it in my pocket or something or, you know.

[Alex Ferrari]

All right, so Thanksgiving. So they come to you?

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, yeah. So my parents usually come to me, but we never. And the whole family, we would never ever talk about mediumship. No one would ever bring up that I was a psych and what I did because they were still living that human life that I'm the daughter and they're all lives and were important, but we never brought up anything that I.

[Alex Ferrari]

Would do, even to this day.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

So it's like just not spoken about.

[Sheila Marie]

It's just not spoken about. Yeah, but if I have like, like say I'm coming here or I'm going. Not my mother, my. That's my dad's side, you know, all that. You know.

[Alex Ferrari]

But your mom seems pretty chill.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, she. She's a hippie, but she doesn't. Can't connect. You know what I mean? But she tries and she. She does meditations, but she's not, you know, she's. You know, she's my mom, but I don't want. I know she's going to watch this. I have to behave.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, she's. And she's also the one that told you to, to submit to.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, she's my guy. She's my guy.

[Alex Ferrari]

She's the one that told you to submit to next month.

I have to imagine as people. This is when I find people are really open to mediumship. When someone dies.

Oh, absolutely.

[Alex Ferrari]

Or when someone's dying. Oh, my gosh.

I was on this radio show, as a matter of fact, with Christian Fourier, Lou Marino, and Glenn Ordway. They're like Boston sports people. Okay. For years, like, big. That went on their live radio show.

[Alex Ferrari]

As a psychic medium.

[Sheila Marie]

As a psychic medium. And I'm not kidding you, it was dark like this in there. And they had tea lights everywhere. That's all that was on. And I'm like, oh, it's the first time I've ever been with a room with tea lights with three guys. Right. And they're laughing. And so anyways, make a long story short. Glenn Ordway was not open to mediumship at all. And he's like. He's like, well, yeah, she looks normal. She has normal clothes on. And they were asking me questions about Will. Tom Brady. This is the reason why I was on. They wanted to know if he was staying with the Patriots or if he wasn't. And so a lot of the things came true in that podcast, which was great, but it was all under interpretation, you know? But anyways, Glenn Orway did not believe in anything. So I said to him at the end, I said, this is not on air. I said. He says, oh, it was really nice meeting you, even though I don't believe in those stuff. I said, it's okay, Glenn. I put my hand. I said, when you need me, I'll be there for you. You. He's like, well, I won't need you. I said, don't say that, because you may need me. And when you do, I'm there for you. It's free reading. Free reading. Well, because that's exactly what happens. People. Someone dies, and all of a sudden, they want to talk to them. You know what I mean? And they're much more open to it.

[Alex Ferrari]

They want to, like, what happened to Grandma?

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And that. That's what happens. Yeah. So, yeah, that happens all the time.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah. And that's. That's when I find that People are very, very interested.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Because at that point they're just like, I want to talk to Grandma.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

You know, is she okay?

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, my God. This is really funny. This was before I was doing mediumship.

[Alex Ferrari]

I don't.

[Sheila Marie]

I was in my late 20s, and my friend says to me, oh, did you know, you know John Edwards? He's a psychic medium famous. Oh, of course. Yeah. And she goes, oh, there's this guy, I think I was 20 years old, and he's on radio and he'd see spirits. I'm like, I don't believe that crap. Do you?

[Alex Ferrari]

This is you back in the day.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And she's like, oh, come on. I was in Pennsylvania visiting her. She goes, mom, let's watch it on television. And, you know, he's doing his thing. And I'm like, there's just. And I sat there and I'm thinking, okay, well, he could have known this. She could have known that. You know what I mean? Going through all the. Everything. And I'm a sin. And now I look up to him like, wow, he's really great. Do you know what I mean? Because I can understand what he's doing.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's amazing how the world works.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, it is.

[Alex Ferrari]

Now, speaking of the world, I'd love to hear your thoughts on where we're all heading, because it seems like it's a little bit cray cray right now, now, and there's a lot of people who are afraid about, you know, the future and where we're all going and stuff like that. And I don't need predictions or anything like that. I just. Generally speaking of humanity as a. As a whole consciousness, I think we're more awakened now than we've ever been.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

In our lifetime. Even though the last six months, right, it's been last. Well, last five years.

[Sheila Marie]

What do they call it? Aquarius something or.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, now we're entering the age of Aquarius.

Yeah. So, like, I don't really keep up on a lot of that stuff like my students do, and they tell me, and so I don't need to.

I. I'm feeling that, you know, we're all beings of light, you know, and yes, it is like Star wars, the good against evil.

[Alex Ferrari]

You know, the dark side and the light side.

[Sheila Marie]

The dark side and light side. Yeah. And it's just like that. And especially it's more now prominent because of the Internet.

[Alex Ferrari]

Because now we're connected.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, we're all connected. We can talk to people in other countries. It wasn't like it was 60 years ago.

[Alex Ferrari]

60. 20.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. 20. Yeah. What are you talking about? Yeah, you're right.

[Alex Ferrari]

20, 30 years ago, you know what I mean? But like 95, it was dial up.

[Sheila Marie]

And so my thought is, you know, even if you go back hundreds of years ago, we all thought that the moon, you know, when there's an eclipse, they'd all be out there shaking at the moon, yelling at the moon.

[Alex Ferrari]

Right. Because God's not happy with it.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And so. So I honestly feel that as hard times as it is, we have to go through these hard times to get to the light. There will always be negative and positive, I feel, because again, they balance each other out. You know what I mean? It's a matter, you know what I mean?

[Alex Ferrari]

But would you agree that if there's. I've noticed this, and this is an equilibrium of the universe. Universe is about balance.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

You can just see it in nature.

[Sheila Marie]

Nature, right.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's perfectly balanced. Any ecosystem is perfectly balanced until we screw it up. But everything's balanced. Universe is perfectly balanced, solar systems and so on. So when there is a great negative force that arises, we'll call that, let's say World War II.

[Sheila Marie]

Okay. Yep.

[Alex Ferrari]

There was a great negative force that could have easily taken over the planet.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

But then the equal positive side came up. The fight it.

[Sheila Marie]

Yep.

[Alex Ferrari]

But that, that didn't exist without, without.

[Sheila Marie]

This actually you have to have both to go forward.

[Alex Ferrari]

Even so even when something really negative happens in the world, there is a positive reaction to it to balance it out. So there's no fear. I don't have any fear of, of something completely covering.

[Sheila Marie]

You know I want to look at it this way, like you know, we live in the universe, we live in space. A lot of it is fear and we create the fear. Yes, we can create bad things to happen, we can manifest this and that. But I feel that you know, there is a rise of consciousness but there it's not nothing new because we've already been conscious but we're more awakened. Some of us are and some of us still are not and may never choose to be.

[Alex Ferrari]

In this end.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah in this life. But I truly don't believe that it's the end all because again it's never the end all. Here there's no such thing as time. This is just one spot in our journey. Our whole lifetime here is one dream. That's what I feel like. Like. So if I go in my head like every, like your whole journey here is just one dream. Do you know what I mean? This is just one spot in our, in our enlightenment, you know, and so I understand where you're coming from, civilians, where people are. It's the end of the world. We're all that. Yes, we see it, the chaos. Isn't that because we're living it more more we're socialized and conditioned.

[Alex Ferrari]

Well the doom scrolling yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh my gosh. So our minds are controlling it. It's creating more than have. Yes, it, there's bad, yes there's good and yes there is change. Yes there is higher consciousness and this is beautiful but at the same time it's been happening for thousands of years.

[Alex Ferrari]

But now we just are. So in other words before when we lived in a village thousands a year ago we wouldn't know what happened two miles or three miles, there could be a war going on.

[Sheila Marie]

Exactly. And you know, I travel and what I've noticed also through my travels is you know like I'm out in India And Europe, whatever other countries, Our country is very young here in this Western world. And we don't even, some people don't even realize that, that like when I go to India, there are certain parts of India, they're already higher. The whole town, the whole community, the whole states, they're already higher consciousness. They're already living like this because they've been doing it for thousands people of. Of years. Our Western world is a guinea pig, you know, what we've created here in our Western worlds, our way of thinking, our way of spirituality is not what exists all around the world, you know?

[Alex Ferrari]

Absolutely.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And, but I didn't realize that till I traveled. Like, I knew it, but I didn't know it. Yeah. So I'm like, oh, it's experience. Yeah. So we, we. It's a hard place. We're still trying to figure things out here in the Western world world, you know what I mean? Where already they have it figured out. Other places.

[Alex Ferrari]

You know, it's, it's interesting because the US Specifically in the Western world, I mean, when I, when you go to Europe, you know, you walk around and you're like, look at that building. It was built in eight. I'm like, son of a. Built in eight. Yeah. It's like, oh, well, our drywall was from 1975. And we think that's kind of thing, you know, it's. We're very young.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. Oh, gosh.

[Alex Ferrari]

But we grew so fast, Right. Really grew so fast. After World War II, we really kind of took over in many ways around the world as far as a power is concerned. But we are at the forefront of the three dimensional world.

[Sheila Marie]

Right. Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

There really isn't any. I mean, you could argue China now, you could definitely argue Japan. But on the side, size, scope, we're the largest country that's on the edge of the, the cutting edge of the three dimensional world.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

We have the three dimensional world, the technologies, the comforts, all of that. We're pretty ahead.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

In many ways.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

I'm not saying please, everyone with the comments. There are other countries in the world. Europe absolutely is other.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

But, but the, the west, we're ahead of all that.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, agreed.

[Alex Ferrari]

But India and in the east is really ahead in the consciousness standpoint, where they're not as ahead in the materialistic.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's changing. The US has kind of invaded a lot or the Western thought has invaded a lot.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. It's kind of sad, actually.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah. A lot of, you know, there's McDonald's in India.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. I went There.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah.

[Sheila Marie]

I'm like, everything was vegetarian.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah. There's no hamburger.

[Sheila Marie]

But I'll be honest with you, when I go to India and when I see American stuff, I'm. I'm. Ugh. Because I'm like, I'm trying to come over here spiritually. Right. And to find that peace. And you guys. And they're trying all to get to America where they don't understand that there, there's the disconnect here.

[Alex Ferrari]

But now one thing I've noticed is that it's becoming more global. So it's not. So before, our main export was our culture.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

The US's main export was our cultures, our movies, our music.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Our art. That was. That was for many, many years. Probably since. I probably say probably since the war. Since World War II. I would say that maybe a little earlier that the world all wanted what the US had. Where nowadays it's. You're. Japan has a huge influence. South Korea has a huge influence. Other countries have huge influences globally now.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Global brands, global ideas, global storytelling. I mean, you're looking at.

[Sheila Marie]

It's next. We've done it all. Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Right. So it's everything.

[Sheila Marie]

Now it's time to get back into the higher consciousness.

[Alex Ferrari]

So now we're like. Exactly. We're really evolved on a three dimensional standpoint. And now AI is doing a whole lot of other stuff. I think people are starting to figure out. They're like, no, no, I need to go. This isn't enough.

[Sheila Marie]

Right. And less is more, actually.

[Alex Ferrari]

And that's where people are starting to realize, do I really need all of.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And. And I. And I want to say also that what bothers me as a guru, spiritual leader, whoever, whatever you want to call me today is that people think that there's a certain way that they have to connect. Do you know what I mean?

[Alex Ferrari]

Connect to the other side.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Or to your higher self.

[Sheila Marie]

To your higher self. Yeah. If you don't do it this way, you're not going to connect.

[Alex Ferrari]

Right. You don't have to. We all don't have to go to the Himalayas.

Yeah. And so we're already connected. People need to understand that they're already light inside them. That energy, that personality, whoever they are, is who they are. You're already connected to the consciousness around you. Everything is energy, everything is frequency, everything is vibration. If I could level this up, I would, you know, as a Deeper meditation.

People are like, what?

Yeah. So my thing is like, you don't have to learn a certain way. Yes. You can come to my classes or come to the podcast. We can learn certain things and techniques. But you're already connected. You're already a being of light.

Yeah, there's a thousand meditations. Yeah, there's more than that. There's millions of different kinds of meditations.

And you don't even need. Need that to connect because you already are light. Right. Yeah.

There's just different paths to go down that road. Each path is going to teach you different things.

Yeah. And I feel that a spirit speaking through me right now. I think. No, but I feel. I feel like I'm not in deep trance, but I can feel it because I know, I'm like, what are you saying, Sheila? But I just feel like there will always be change here in the universe, in our worlds, and that's part of our growth of our universe, but here of our higher consciousness. But there will always be change. There'll always be negative. They'll always be positive, even though things are going to the greater good because people will find that that's mucky. They won't agree with that either. You know what I mean? But there will always be change here because that's what the human experience is here. This where we are here.

You know, and people say, oh, well, we're getting better. Yes, we are, absolutely. But they got better in the 70s too when they won LSD, you know what I mean? But yeah, 60s and 70s. So it's just a matter of change. Yes. Is it more aware? Yes. Because of religions breaking down this and.

[Alex Ferrari]

That and these kind of conversations.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, yeah. And a way of things deteriorating to make good in light. And always everything that's happening is light is coming out, you know, light is coming out from everything. And so that's the outcome ultimately is the light, you know, light and good way, you know, and then the connection of the universe, you know. But I feel that there'll always be turmoil here. Not in a, you know.

There'Ll be different variations of it. So like perfect example, right now you and I are in an air conditioned room, very comfortable, you know, nice seats that are, you know, that are built for our backs and everything's beautiful. But there's, there's humans experiencing right now in an Amazon, right now in a trip tribe.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Same time period.

[Sheila Marie]

That's right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Two very different experiences.

[Sheila Marie]

Right, Absolutely. And, and you know, when I go to India, you know, I've, I've seen similar things like that in villages. Isn't that. And it all comes down to love and, and kindness and connection and it's about food. It's down to the nitty gritty of shelter. You got your health, you got shelter and what else do you need? You have water, you know, and connection. And they're so connected to everything more. They see things more clearly because they don't have all the disturbances. Yeah. And it's noise. Yeah. And so it's kind of beautiful.

[Alex Ferrari]

You know, I've got actually like, you know, the holidays is a rough time for me because everyone's asking me, what can I get you? I'm like, I don't want anything.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

My kids drives them nuts. I'm like, I want you guys to be nice to each other. Other.

[Sheila Marie]

Do you Know what I do to my kids, though, as well? I did for Mother's Day anyways, because I don't want anything either, because I, I, I'm a nomad. I, I, I really am a nomad now. And I, I don't even live in Florida. I live everywhere, right? And so for Mother's Day, the last two years, I said, okay, sit down. My, My two grown kids, and I gave them each my book that I had given to them, you know, when I made the book. And I said, okay, okay, let's read a paragraph. Because I know they haven't read my book yet. And so each one of them, I make them read a paragraph of my book. That's genius, right? And I go, if I dedicated this book to you, at least you can read it.

Yeah, that's fascinating.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, that's my gift to them and.

I mean, my gift to myself. Yeah. I'm like, okay, now you can go do what you want.

I do believe that at a certain. I mean, at least for me, as I'm getting older, I'm just, I'm just starting to. I don't want things anymore. Things are irrelevant.

It's all about the connection. It's all about the love connection and the energy, and it's about the experience. That's why I came here today. But I've done it on Zoom. Yeah, but I want to experience you. I want to experience your wife. I want to experience the. You know what I mean? No, seriously, I want to experience it. You know what I mean?

This is so much more, you know, vivid and lively than it would be on Zoom. Yeah, Zoom is great, but this is a different energy.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Being in the space, being in the room, being in the energy. A lot of people pick up on the energy when they walk in this room because of all the, the people who've been here, stuff that's happened in here.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, I love it. I seen it on, on your. Every night. I think it's like 10 past 12. I always get my thing on Instagram, you know. Oh, yeah, my reel. I'm like, oh, what's on today? Someone else died and they came back. But I, I saw, you know, you're awake thing. I'm like, oh, just a few minutes ago, I'm like, oh, there's Bubba. And I'm thinking, oh, yeah, I'm on this. I'm like, where am I right now? I forget because the lights. I'm like, wow.

[Alex Ferrari]

One thing that's really interesting is a lot of people who, who do doom scrolling. Or they watch the news or.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

And they. And they start getting wrapped up in the fear. Oh, yeah, they don't. I need them to think about something for a second. That most of us, not all at everybody, are in a room that's safe.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

So you're seeing war, you're seeing politics, you're seeing other things on your screens and you're getting all nervous and fight ORF flight and, you know, paranoid. That's all in your mind. Absolutely.

[Sheila Marie]

The chatter, the monkey mind.

[Alex Ferrari]

You're literally in a safe room. Not most, not everybody.

[Sheila Marie]

Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

If bombs are going off in your neighborhood. That's not who I'm talking to. But the majority of people don't have bombs going off in their neighborhood. And you're generally in a safe space. Generally, it's all in your mind. You're creating that reality.

[Sheila Marie]

Absolutely. My gosh. Everything you listen to, everything you see, all the content. Yeah. It's so. I can't tell you how many times I've told my kids as they were being raised, don't listen to that. Oh my God. Your mind and the thing. Oh, you're ma. You're crazy. But it's true. It's all vibration, it's all frequency. You create your own world.

[Alex Ferrari]

There's things I watched when I was a kid that I can't watch now.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, yeah. I won't watch anything like that, like, because I'll have nightmares.

[Alex Ferrari]

I just energetically. I can't. I can't deal with it anymore. Like. But I have fond memories of when I watched it.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. I. My ex used to always watch the news all day, you know, and I would scream, oh my God, just turn it off. Off. Turn it off. Because I don't want to know. I don't want to hear it because it's energy.

[Alex Ferrari]

Wayne Dyer said this once. He's like, if it's important enough news, it'll get to me.

[Sheila Marie]

Absolutely. Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

You don't need to watch the news.

[Sheila Marie]

That's right.

[Alex Ferrari]

If it's important enough, you'll know it. Someone will say something.

[Sheila Marie]

Right. Because the universe is providing for you all the time.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah. Like there's, you know, the US had the whole thing with Venezuela a few days ago.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh, yeah, that's right.

[Alex Ferrari]

I didn't, I didn't know. I had no idea because I didn't see.

[Sheila Marie]

And.

[Alex Ferrari]

And somehow it got to me. I'm like, oh, really?

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

Then I looked it up. I was like, oh, God, geez.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And then I can either take this to heart. I Could keep what? I'll have. You know, it's really interesting. I like to go walking. You know, in the last two weeks, I have not walked. And shame on me, But I just have not. And I'll tell you the reason why. Because my monkey mind was watching Facebook this and that, and late at night, they were telling everybody what to do, not to do when you walk in because you're going to be kidnapped. I got so freaked out, I stopped walking.

[Alex Ferrari]

Isn't that insane?

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And I said, sheila, what are you doing?

[Alex Ferrari]

Has anyone been abducted in your.

[Sheila Marie]

No, not at all.

[Alex Ferrari]

Of course. Okay. Exactly.

[Sheila Marie]

And I think. Yeah, you create. You can create it, too. Oh, so it's important.

[Alex Ferrari]

I mean, I don't know about you, but during that. That. That interesting time in 2020, I was wiping down Amazon boxes. You remember. You remember it when we all were in the house together. Oh, my God. I was wiping down because that's what they told us to do. I was like, I was freaked out because, oh, my God, we were wiping down my insane.

[Sheila Marie]

I bleached my whole house.

[Alex Ferrari]

Like, you were doing crazy stuff because of the fear. And it was thought control. It was really interesting.

[Sheila Marie]

And now you don't know what's real and what's not. What's AI or not.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's getting really. I can still tell because I have a trained eye, but sometimes it's done so well that you're like, yeah, like, I'll see a little cat walking up to a door, and it's a doorbell cam. That's when they get the doorbell cams. It's a cat. Well, like, oh, that's cute. And like, all of a sudden it pulls out a machine gun, just starts shooting or something like that at a squirrel. And I'm like, oh, that's AI. But sometimes you just don't know, like.

[Sheila Marie]

In video games, you know.

[Alex Ferrari]

Oh, well, that's different.

[Sheila Marie]

And. But I think that is what's. I feel really bad for the young generation right now because they were all brought up on and it's all violence, you know, and so their reality that they're creating and, you know, with poor people that are getting shot, you know, in the United States recently. And it's from all that, they're like, it's accepted, you know, when my kids were in Catholic school, there were bomb threats at the school. It's, oh, mom, that happens all the time. No, it doesn't happen. It never happened to me. This is this new generation. And I feel so sad for them because they don't understand that, that's not. That shouldn't happen.

[Alex Ferrari]

There's these little AI Instagram re. Someone naked, something like, hey, I'm talking to you from the 80s. And it's like them, like it must suck where you're at right now. Cuz here we don't have the Internet. We go out and talk to our friends. We eat real food. We like, oh my God, yeah, I can go to McDonald's because it's still meat. That kind of stuff.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh my God, that's funny.

[Alex Ferrari]

It's just you sit there like it's a nostalgia thing. That's one of the reasons why I think Stranger Things did so well.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh. Because it's just like when we grew up.

Like it's, it's really accurate. Yeah, it was really accurate.

Yeah. I remember even the clothes and the comb in the back pocket.

I mean it was done so beautifully. But that nostalgia of like, oh man. Like they say.

Yeah.

There's. There's a term that says peak. The peak of humanity was the 90s.

Wow.

That was the peak. That's peak humanity. That was right before the end the of Internet took over. Before social media, everyone talked to ourselves.

I had webmail. No web something.

[Alex Ferrari]

Yeah, there was some Internet, but the social media.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah, yeah. Had not. Oh God. Social media.

[Alex Ferrari]

There was no social media yet in the 90s. Social media really didn't come in until I think early 2000s when MySpace came out.

[Sheila Marie]

Oh my space.

[Alex Ferrari]

All that kind of stuff.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

But you know, people were still talking to each other. People were still eating semi real food.

[Sheila Marie]

That's right. They were still going on dates.

And I found. And I found out where.

They had no idea what was coming. The filmmakers, they said peak humanity was the 90s and that's when everyone was the most comfortable. Was like son of. I don't believe that. I don't believe we're pe.

I loved the Matrix. That was really, really good.

Yeah. What if I told you.

What if I told you that Blue pill, red pill.

Yeah.

So let me ask you this for someone. So someone who's watching right now and is going through an awakening and is confused as hell, is scared because of their religious background or of the fear of being ostracized like that, or losing their family, losing their marriage. Marriage, losing their kids because of it. That's, that's a real serious fear. I get it.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah.

[Alex Ferrari]

What advice would you have for them?

[Sheila Marie]

Well, my thing is you always follow what you feel is right for yourself and also your loved ones around you in case it's, you know, a bad circumstance, you know. But you have to be true to yourself. You have to be true to yourself because you're the one who's living your own journey. You know, I used to say people don't come to my house for coffee and tea, so they don't have a right to tell me what to do with my life. Right. Yeah. And that's really what it comes down to. But you have to be true to you because this is your journey. You can't live your journey for other people. Yes, you have to take care of your children, but Every experience is your experience and it's what you make of it. And our lifetime here in this human experience is very short because it's dimensional. Yeah. So it's okay. But you need to make every second count, you know, because our journey keeps continuing even after this journey here in our life experience as a human. So it's never ending. There's no such thing as time time. So it's important for you to recognize that you are on your journey. You come into this world alone and naked and you leave the same. And it's very short experience. So what. How do you see the outcome of your experience? Where do you want to be in a year? Where do you want to be in a month or the next day? And you're the one who has to make that happen. You can't allow the. You can't wait for someone else to do it for you. You have to make the balls rolling, you know, start the ball rolling itself. But also just being true to you. And the best friend you can ever have in this world is yourself. Don't expect anything from anyone as friendship, even relationships. The only person that can give you what you need is you. Right.

[Alex Ferrari]

Powerful.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And. And once you recognize that, it'll put you on a different wavelength, length, where the universe can work with you and you can work with the universe and know that you're on your journey, you know? Yeah. That's what I'm feeling.

[Alex Ferrari]

So I'm going to tell you a story. You were saying about no time. Time doesn't exist. There's actually a place on earth that there is no time. It doesn't exist. It's a little island off the coast of Norway where there's six months of light and months of dark and there's no time. Like time doesn't exist there in a traditional standpoint.

[Sheila Marie]

Okay.

[Alex Ferrari]

So what people who live on this small island do is they take their watches off and they hang them on the bridge and they're all locked in the bridge. And it's a way for them to signify that I've given time away.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. Oh, wow. That's really cool.

[Alex Ferrari]

I check that out and there's. People are like playing soccer at 3 o' clock in the morning because it doesn't.

[Sheila Marie]

It doesn't last. Yeah. It's so true.

[Alex Ferrari]

True kids are going to school at whatever time. Like there's no time.

[Sheila Marie]

There's no time.

[Alex Ferrari]

So everything just kind of.

[Sheila Marie]

Wow.

[Alex Ferrari]

Just exists.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And that's really what we are here. Because everything we as humans have created all and Socialized people to be a certain way for control, you know, from the beginning of times here. And that's not who we're meant to be. We're just meant to be in that no time space in every form, you know.

[Alex Ferrari]

And when you're meditating, you're in that no time.

[Sheila Marie]

That's right. And it's wonderful and you can do it anywhere, you know. And that's what I love at any time. Right. You know, I had eye surgery recently and I lost some sight in my eye and. But I didn't tell you, I tell you now and I did a lot of meditating and stuff. You know what I mean? So I'm like, okay, well I can't see out there, but I'm meditating still, you know what I mean? And so what I'm trying to say is even though my outer eyes are not to going great, my inner eyes are.

Are sharp as hell.

[Sheila Marie]

Yeah. And I go everywhere, you know.

[Alex Ferrari]

That's so beautiful.

Just know that you're loved, you know, and the universe loves you. You're never, I want to say you're never alone. The universe is always with you. You, you know, the sun and the moon and are always there. Just look up at the sun and the moon. You know, when I'm in India or wherever, I look up, it's the same moon, it's the same sun. You know, you're. And the universe will give you that love and that connection that you need. So get outside and go outside, go for a walk, go sit outside. If you have to hear the elements, feel the elements, be part of that. You're already part of the universe, but the universe will teach you. You know, if you look at a leaf, everything you need to know is in that leaf if you really pay attention to it. So it. So getting outside and knowing that you don't have to be like everybody else. Because if we were, what a boring place it would be, right? You know? So just be you. Yeah.
