I'd like to welcome back to the show returning champion Concetta Bertoldi. Bertoldi. Bertoldi.
Concetta Bertoldi
For totally.
Alex Ferrari
I, you know, I got close. I got it close. Great to see you again. How are you, my dear?
Concetta Bertoldi
Oh, God, I'm. Let me first do this a.
Alex Ferrari
Thank you so much. I appreciate that.
Concetta Bertoldi
I missed you and it's. What back?
Alex Ferrari
Yes. Thank you so much.
It's been.
It's been like almost a couple years now since you've been on.
Concetta Bertoldi
Time flies.
Alex Ferrari
I. Times flies. But you always. You made such an impression.
Concetta Bertoldi
Oh, that.
Alex Ferrari
I always have you on the back of my head. And.
Concetta Bertoldi
Thank you.
Alex Ferrari
And we were thinking the other day, I'm like, who can we bring back? I'm like, oh, we have concept on forever. We got to bring her back. So that's why we reached out. So thank you again for being here. Our last conversation was a hit. People loved it. You got a bunch of. You got a few emails.
Concetta Bertoldi
Oh, that's wonderful. A lot of people, too. I will tell you that you are my favorite podcast. Truly. The people you have on are so insightful and so, so beautiful, and the stories are truly amazing. I. I truly love your podcast. I tell everybody. So you. I feel you're the best one with this subject matter on.
Alex Ferrari
Oh, I appreciate that. Means a lot to me. Thank you so much. I do. I do what I can. And it's. It's. It's a labor of love, to be honest with you. I really do enjoy doing this. And I imagine since you watch a lot of our episodes, you see a lot of other psychic mediums on as well. It's. And it's. I gotta imagine it must be. I mean, you know, you've been doing this for a few. For a minute or two now, so but seeing a lot of these. A lot of psychic mediums, the new generation coming up, and other people in the way they approach it. How do you. Like, how do you. What do you see? What do you learn from watching all of them and, like. And seeing that kind of stuff?
Concetta Bertoldi
Yeah, that's interesting. I love that question. Actually, you. As you can imagine, there are some real wonderful people out there who have this ability. And as you can also understand, there are people that. You know, I feel bad saying it because there are some people who have. I call it that attitude that, you know, they. I. What is it that I always say? You know, they're. They're charlatans. They're what I would call boardwalk psychics. This is the attitude they have every man for themselves. That. That's how I look at it. And I really get upset when I can tell that that's somebody who. Who has that attitude of every man for himself. What it means is that they wouldn't help somebody else, or if they saw somebody that they were drowning, they might run the other way. And I. I've met people that have that. God, I hate to sound like this, but. Energy, yeah, they have that energy, and they're claiming to do this work, and it offends me greatly because that's not part of this work. I do not have that attitude. But I. But, hey, there are people out there like that. But then there are some people who are extremely legitimate and have an amazing talent. So I can tell the difference, because
Alex Ferrari
you can definitely tell the difference. It's something that I always like to tell people is like, just because people have the ability.
Concetta Bertoldi
Right.
Alex Ferrari
Of psychic mediumship in them or channeling or any of these kind of extracurricular, you know, talents, doesn't make them a good person. And you can't.
Concetta Bertoldi
That's my point. I had a hard time saying it because I don't want to start out negative on your podcast.
Alex Ferrari
No, no, no, no, of course not. I asked the question because it's something that I think it needs to be talked about, because as. As more of. As more attention is being brought to this space. I mean, again, you've been doing this for a while now, so you know where it came from and where we're. Where we are, and arguably where it's going. When people see money, people rush in.
Concetta Bertoldi
There you go.
Alex Ferrari
And you've got to be. And you have to have this. And that's one of the biggest things. I'm good. I'm really starting to talk a lot about now is discernment oh, your own personal discernment. What rings true to you? Because at the end of the day, it's all about finding the power within yourself.
Concetta Bertoldi
I was just saying that this afternoon. There was a young girl at my house today, and we were talking about that because she's very interested in taking it step further, her ability. And we had that conversation. You know, your heart has to be in it. Your empathy has to be in it. Your honesty has to be in it. So it will come through in your delivery. I've met and I've worked with other mediums that some have been on your show, and, you know, I have opin strong opinions on some of them. And I, you know, I wouldn't never say it publicly on this forum because I don't want to hurt anybody, but I've met people that are very famous that do this, and sadly, I feel they're. Well, again, every man for themselves attitude.
Alex Ferrari
You know, I get you. I get you completely again.
Concetta Bertoldi
So if anybody in the competition, I don't mean to do that because there's. There's some really amazing people. You ever meet George Anderson?
Alex Ferrari
George. No, I don't know who George Anderson is.
Concetta Bertoldi
Beautiful human being, really. And he's a medium and very legitimate and has his heart in the right place. At some point, there was a book written about him. Oh, God. And it was called We Don't Die Patricia Romanowski. And I forget the other guy's name. They wrote the book and it was about him and it was so beautiful. And I did finally get to meet him, but he was very well known back, you know, in the 70s, I think, before I was public. And what was amazing about him is he was so. He was so overbooked and he was raised in his family that was very religious and, and they were not happy that he hurt dead people. They put him through shock treatments. It's a very amazing story. But he became so famous that he, at some point he just worked with people who lost children because he didn't have enough time in the day to work with everybody. So he worked with people who lost children. But he was utterly amazing. I don't know how old he is today because I, I knew him when I was very young and I know my age now, so who, God knows how old he is.
Alex Ferrari
Very interesting to say that because, you know, there's. There's a lot of people, like I said, coming into the space and I don't want to be all about this. I don't want the conversation to turn out all about this. But it's something really. The discernment aspect of things. It has to be really. You really got to listen to your gut. You really have to listen to that. Because psychic mediums have a very deep responsibility. And there is. Should be ethics in regards to how they approach their work. And it is work. It is work. I mean, yeah, you want to give and you want to.
Concetta Bertoldi
Because they look at me and think, you're. I'm just talking. And they think, oh, why would she be tired? You know, all she's doing is talking. They don't realize I'm using energy and the energy is being processed, and it is exhausting. And when I do an event, and after an event, I'm so exhausted. But I totally agree with you, the responsibility behind all of this. And that's why I try very hard to be careful in my delivery. Because you could say something the wrong way and someone becomes it, you know, very heartbroken, worse than they might have came into the situation. So I have to be very careful. But I always say the proof is in the pudding. If you talk, I. Forgive me for being so bold, but if you talk to people that I've worked for or with, whatever way you want to put it, and listen to what they say about their experience with me, I'm pretty hopeful. And I. I don't want to both be, you know, conceited. But the proof is in the pudding and what people say, in my opinion.
Alex Ferrari
Right. And that's how you got the. Kind of. Gotta go down that road now. And now if people want to listen more about your backstory and how you got started and everything, they can listen to our first interview, which will be linked in the description as well, because it was a beautiful conversation. So much fun.
Concetta Bertoldi
So much.
Alex Ferrari
Because you're so much fun.
Concetta Bertoldi
Thank you. Thanks for having me. Jersey Girl back.
Alex Ferrari
I love. I love my Jersey Girls. I love you. Don't forget, I was raised in Jamaica, Queens, back in the day.
Concetta Bertoldi
Understand?
Alex Ferrari
Oh, yes, I understand. No, I call it the old country. New York.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yeah.
Alex Ferrari
Which it is my old country, if you will. So, Concetta, with everything that's happening right now in the world, I really wanted to kind of discuss a lot of the fear that's happening, a lot of the things that are happening. And to be fair, there is a lot of things happening currently, not even in the future.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yeah.
Alex Ferrari
Like, there's one thing to be afraid of. Like, oh, something's coming. But currently in our everyday lives, there's so much uncertainty.
We'll be right back after a word from our sponsor.

And now back to the show.
We are being put in into a world with a lot of the leaders around the world. And this is not just a US thing or a UK thing or a China thing. Like all all around seem to be really shaking things up.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yes, some.
Alex Ferrari
Some in good, some in positive, some in negative. It's regardless, it's all about perspective. Guess in that sense. But there is still a lot of shakeups happening and there's a lot of uncertainty. The foundation that we've been sitting on for so many decades, if not hundreds of years even I don't start.
Concetta Bertoldi
I call it the ignorance we've been sitting on for a long time.
Alex Ferrari
Fair enough. The ignorance that we've been sitting on for a long time now is starting to bubble up and all that's coming up. So what do you when you tune into the world right now, what is the first thing that you feel?
Concetta Bertoldi
Well, the first thing I feel is, you know, when I was young, ignorance was bliss. Because now knowing all that I know is really. It's a tough world. But I. I think I've said this to you before, and I'll repeat it. I do know for sure that God always wins. And we're in a war right now. Not just Iran and whatever's going on around the country, the world and other wars that are going on. Man is involved in a very big war on earth right now. Energetically. I truly. I don't want to say. I know this. I know this. We're being challenged to choose God. It's as simple as that. It's so simple because there is activity from the other side that is so evil and so ugly and. And it is. You can see it if you really want to see it. And ignorance is no longer bliss because we're being forced to see it. And there is a choice we have to make that we choose God or turn our back on God. It comes down to we are here to love each other. We're here to love each other, despite our differences. And, well, I can't tell anybody who to vote for, who to believe in or whatever, because my choice is always going to believe that I believe in God and that God always wins and is the master of the universe. And I say that very proudly. I don't hide that faith at all. In terms of what everybody else chooses and what way they choose to go about it, that's individual. I just know that if you allow yourself to find. Sounds so simple, but love in your heart and stop being so judgmental and stop being so quick to be mean and try find a way to give, as John Lennon would say, give peace a chance, you know? And I truly believe that that is going to happen. It's just a matter of time. And I think the world is being shown different things because we're supposed to wake up. It's almost like we're watching a movie. If you watch what's going on and turn on. I don't. I try to stay away from it because it affects me so terribly. I mean, it really does have an effect on my emotional state of mind. So I just stay plugged into God. And that gets me through a lot.
Alex Ferrari
Yeah. I mean, not only do I believe that God is the, you know, the master of the universe, he is the universe. We all. And we are. And we are all part of that.
Concetta Bertoldi
And I was talking to some two. I did two people this morning. They were Muslim and they were so beautiful and they were so kind. And boy, oh, boy, their mother had died. And the readings went splendidly. I was so Proud of my work. But as I was talking to them, I'm reminded that we are all the same and that their mother died, and they were heartbroken, and they wanted to know that she was okay. And it's something we all want it. Something we're all looking for. Faith and hope. And anyway, I hung up the phone feeling so good about it, you know, because I was able. Because if you do readings for people for different religions, you're not. I don't know about anybody else, but I worry that I'm going to say something that's against their religion. And I don't. I don't want to do that. You know, I don't want to because I don't know their religion, and I don't know what they would find offensive. And I don't know if I would say something to them that sounded like I was judging them. I don't want to do that. So I stuck to the subject. And that was their mother, and she came through with flying colors. Boy. And it was wonderful. And I. Like I said, I hung up, feeling really good about myself and really good about them and knowing that they got peace from knowing their mother was in another place. Well, and in a miracle of a place.
Alex Ferrari
You know, it's interesting that you say that, because I haven't really thought about, you know, psychic mediums who do readings for people of. Of multiple faiths. Because to be fair, I don't think they're going to be upset at you if you say something inappropriate because they're coming to you, right? So if they're coming. If they're Muslim and they're coming to you, they're like, listen, she doesn't know who I am. Like, they've already. They've already walked in the door. So I. I think you're safe there. But with all the readings you've done, and I'm sure you've done a couple in your lifetime, with how many different kinds of religious backgrounds did you come through and how did they find you? Because I have to believe that there is. If someone's, let's say, Muslim, you know, I don't. I know Sufis aren't psychics, but there has to be an equivalent mystical aspect. And I know Sufism is kind of that for the Muslims, but that's more mystic as opposed to psychic or metaphysical. So there has to be a version of a psychic medium for that culture. I don't know what that is. I'm not. I'm not educated in that. But that they came to you. I find fascinating. So what was that? How did they find you? Just out of curiosity or they just.
Concetta Bertoldi
I find it equally as fascinating. Yeah, I do, because I'm always amazed how, you know, I talk to a lot of Italians. Yeah, obviously they're like Concetta Bertoli, we're going to call her. Okay. Imo, you know what I'm saying? But there was a. That was a real Ginzo response, you know what I'm saying?
Alex Ferrari
Hey, how you doing? How you. How you doing?
Concetta Bertoldi
Exactly.
Alex Ferrari
That's my Joy Tribbiani. That's my Joy Tribbiani.
Concetta Bertoldi
Oh, boy. So anyway, here's the thing. I'm always equally amazed because even just last week I was talking to somebody, young people who were Vietnamese, you know, and their family members, like six of them Vietnamese, you know, And I don't even know what their religion is. I just knew it wasn't mine. And way I'm kind of a half Catholic anyway because I never made my communion, confirmation, none of that. But I do believe that Jesus and Mary are my go to. Okay? They're, they're my people. And even though I don't follow the rules of Catholicism or what the Pope says, I have a whole view on that, that I don't want to get ugly, but I believe Jesus and Mary. So knowing that I know there's different religions, obviously I know Muslim is a different religion, Jewish is a different religion, Vietnamese, I didn't even know what you know. But the important thing is if I stick to my subject and let them just tell me what they're saying to validate themselves and the proof that they were in their lives to begin with and that they are validating the people they're with on that side, it works out perfectly. So I just stick with my subject, you know. But what my fear comes in when it comes in is knowing what's going on in the world right now and knowing that there are people being very judgmental about other religions. And I don't want to sound like I have picked up some of that negativity and judging their religion. So that's why. And I don't know what it might be because I would never want to be judgmental. You know, I don't, I don't live my life that way. And I was raised by people who accepted all people. Thank God. I was a perfect candidate to do what I'm doing because my parents respected everybody. But what I do know is that we're all human and when we lose somebody we love, we're hurt and we want to feel better and we want to feel optimistic. And you give me a chance, whatever your religion is, I will hopefully let you know the person is alive and well and they're in a different place than this place we call Earth. I don't call it Earth, I call it Camp Earth. Because this is not home.
Alex Ferrari
The more you travel around the world and the more interaction you have with other cultures, other religions, other societies, you start to realize that everyone wants the exact same thing. We all want to be happy. We all want to be loved. We want to have a roof over our head, some food in our bellies and our loved ones around and they want you want your kids to succeed. Like it's all the same. All the same. Regardless of that. And I find it so fascinating, and that was the problem I had with Catholicism when I was raised in it is that we'll be right back after
a word from our sponsor.

that you know, like we're the only way. I'm like, well, you know, there's a billion Buddhists out there. There's another billion Muslims out there. There's another, you know, God knows how many other, you know, different religions all around. So, I mean, you know, when there's like, well, if you don't follow this way, you're. Oh, poor. Oh, too bad. You. You were. You were. You were born. That. I guess you're not gonna make it. Kind of like, it just found it fascinating. And I don't know about you, if you ever run into a Christian and you tell them you're Catholic, they're like, oh, that's a shame. You're a Catholic. Yeah, it's hilarious when you start looking at it.
Concetta Bertoldi
It's like, really?
Alex Ferrari
How many. How many different. How many different branches of Jesus are there on the planet? I mean, seriously, Lutheran, Baptist, Greek Orthodox, you know, it's just so many.
Concetta Bertoldi
So true. That's why I love Goldie Horn. She is a perfect person to. To reference because she was raised by a Jewish mother and father, and yet she openly states she loves Buddhism. You know, she celebrates Christmas. There's Christmas trees in her house. And yet she loves her Jewish religion as well. So she's like, multi. I just love that multicultural thing. You know, I was raised that way because my brothers, one in heaven, one here. You know, my. My oldest brother who passed away was gay. And my mother and father would always say, whoever he brings home is welcome in our home. And we're gonna love him because we love our son, and we're gonna make that happen. And my younger brother, he dated every color in the universe. We never knew what girl he was gonna bring home. And we had so much fun, you know, celebrating whatever it was he bringing home. His. His wife, now of 25 years, is Chinese, so I know about Chinese New Year's and this and that. And I love all the little Chinese words that she says. You know, I think there's a word I'm looking for. I can't think of it. But anyway, the point is, I love somebody who can accept everybody else. I really do, because there's so much to learn and so much to celebrate. Not just the food culture and all the differences. You know what?
Alex Ferrari
Absolutely. Oh, no. I mean, look, the food.
Concetta Bertoldi
But I love. I love Mexican food. I love barbecue food. You know, why wouldn't.
Alex Ferrari
Why wouldn't you? And. And I would expect Goldie Hawn to have Christmas trees in her house because she played Mrs. Claus.
Concetta Bertoldi
So, I mean, Goldie, so you can't.
Alex Ferrari
You know, I go, she's wonderful, beautiful, Private Benjamin. That's all my favorites. I'm dating myself but yes, I was
Concetta Bertoldi
bored because they were both in it together.
Alex Ferrari
Oh, God, Overboard is such a great movie. I love, love, love the original Overboard. Oh, and you saw the chemistry, man, the chemistry.
Concetta Bertoldi
You couldn't deny it.
Alex Ferrari
Absolutely. So. So Concerto, with all the. The stuff going on around the world, what do you. What are you seeing in regards to these wars? Is it. Is it gonna. I mean, my understanding. Is it going to. It's going to get a little wilder before it gets better.
Concetta Bertoldi
Really heartbreaking, too, because I have a very. Well, I have a few very dear friends from, you know, the wars that are going on in. Not.
Alex Ferrari
Not.
Concetta Bertoldi
I mean, my mind is so blank right now.
Alex Ferrari
Ukraine.
Concetta Bertoldi
Ukraine. I have a very dear friend from Ukraine, and her. Her family is all there. And, you know, she tells me what's going on for her family there, and it breaks my heart. I. Again, I'm gonna say it. I truly believe that there is. It's being created. I should say created by evil and being created by negativity. And. And the people that are in charge in these places, they don't want to bring. Listen, I'm sounding so judgmental, but they don't want to bring God into their heart. If they did, they would. They would get together, sit down, talk it over, figure it out.
Alex Ferrari

Concetta Bertoldi
You know what I'm saying, right?
Alex Ferrari
No, they have no interest in. In anything positive coming out of it. It's all about power or ego or control.
Concetta Bertoldi
Exactly. You know, and if you bring it back down to. As simple as. Even in your own life, in your own life, you've known people that you've argued with, a friend that betrayed you, a family member that was a real pickle puss, whatever the case may be. And you can't change them, you know that you get to a point where you finally say, I've got to stay away from you because your negativity is rubbing off on me, you know, And I hear it in my work. I hear it in my work where people are, oh, God, betrayed by wills. I mean, the mother died, and they have a brother who screwed the sister out of all the money in some way found a way to change names and signatures. And I just sit back and say, how do you live with yourself knowing you're doing that, never mind to your own family member, you know what I'm saying? But I hear it a lot and it's going on sadly.
Alex Ferrari
Out of all the readings that you've had, what is the funniest one you've ever. You can remember?
Concetta Bertoldi
I wish I had heard that question before because I probably. I have. There are so many times I say, I wish I wrote this down because I hang up with somebody and I say, and the person says, how did you know that? Or what was. And I'm sitting there going, they told me. But I found it amazing too. But I move on to the next thing and I don't write it down. So unless I'm working on a book, you know. But there have been some times where utterly amazing thing comes out. And I remember, well, this is one that was just came to my mind that was amazing. I remember doing a reading for somebody. Let me see if I can remember this now. And the family member told me on the other side, there was a cousin that was his brother and that he said, that's impossible. And I was delivering this message they wanted them to know. And it took about a year and a half later that somebody called me up. The person called me up and said, well, you were right, because they argued with me on the phone and got really annoyed at what I was saying. You know, here's. That's why I'm very careful in my delivery. But somebody wanted this person to know that it was their brother and not their cousin. And I just remember when they found out and then calling me up, I was very happy that, that they found out anyway. But funny stories, funny stories. I. I'm trying to think because I'm sure there are some things that have been funny. But off the top of my head, most of the things I remember that stand out in my readings are the amazing validations that people say, one today, it's the only one I like. I told you, I move on. I was talking to this gentleman today. His mother, who had passed away, told me that there was many, many children around him. And he said, I don't have any kids. I said, oh, why. Why is she showing me all kids all around you and that you really make a difference with kids all around you? Well, it turns out he owns a preschool with children in preschool. So then she told me that he made a difference. And I couldn't say the names. The names are names I wouldn't understand. But she said that he made a difference in a young girl's life that was enamored with him, looked up to him, and I forget the other details she made. And he said, well, I have a niece. Well, no, a godchild. He said, and it's. And I knew it was a girl. I said, it's a little girl. And he said, she's my godchild. And every time she would come, she would always. And I forget how he said his name, but she knew how to say it. And she wanted to just sit on his desk, sit up and talk to him. And then I said to him, well, he goes, it's gotta be her, because I can't think of anybody else. And then I said to him, does twins have anything to do with it? And he said, yes, she was a twin. I thought. I went, thank you, Mommy, because she gave me enough information to know exactly who she was talking about. And those are little things that I love, you know, because anybody could get on a phone and do a reading and say, oh, they love you. They miss you. Well, unless they had a adversarial relationship and they had a decent relationship, it's going to make sense. But in all fairness, I don't look for that. I look for details that are very unique, and those are the ones that make me the happiest, because there'd be no way I would know, you know, and that is in the pudding for the person.
Alex Ferrari
Yeah. When you have a reading and they're like, oh, your grandfather is here, your grandmother is here, and they love you very much, and, oh, they're so proud of what you've done.
Concetta Bertoldi
And.
Alex Ferrari
And they're. And they're happy you've done this or that. And unless it starts getting into real minuscule details, like, by the way, your grandpa's telling you that the accountant you have right now is going to screw up in about six months. And then six months later, you call up and concert that. I swear to God, he forgot to file this one thing, and now it's causing all sorts of headache. That's what you're looking for, if at all.
Concetta Bertoldi
Give me. But I get it. I get that. And not to sound boastful, however, the other side has been wonderful to me. God bless them all, because they've been wonderful to me. But I think that I. What I do differently than other mediums is that. Well, not all other mediums, but this is what I do differently, in my opinion. Okay. I have. How do I say this I not only show respect to the other side, but I give the other side. I asked for their permission. The person subject I'm talking to. Do I have your permission to eavesdrop this conversation so that the other side is I'm showing them the respect they deserve, you know, and I'm very grateful that they're allowing me to deliver whatever message they want me to give.

And now back to the show.
Concetta Bertoldi
You know and I I read and I'm always so humble and grateful. I I never take it for granted. I'm always thank you so much. That was wonderful what you just told me. You know I'm really I think that makes it makes a big difference. The other side is willing to help when you show them the respect that they deserve.
Alex Ferrari
And let me ask you a question when you're, when you're speaking to someone because I'm still fascinated with the multi religion aspect of this of your work. Sometimes when you're speaking to a Muslim family and someone from the other side comes through that was of that religion. What is that like? Because they're, let's say you were a hardcore Bible thumping Catholic. Yes, let's go, let's just go that. Because, because we know that.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yeah, right.
Alex Ferrari
And basically you're doing the devil's work, obviously. Oh, yeah, exactly. But then when you, and you might have, and I'm sure in your work, you've probably met someone or had someone like that in your family who then crosses over and when you connect, they're like, oops, you know, sorry I gave you such a hassle. Well, is that what happens?
Concetta Bertoldi
Absolutely happened. And true, my friend. Let's see. How could I tell you one story? Well, first of all, okay, it's in my family, so I can divulge it. I had a, on my father's side of the family, disability was very pronounced. Okay. So I have cousins from my father's side of the family who knew about my grandfather who had disability and they had no problem with any of it. But they were sadly, some of them dishonest people and did some very dishonest things in their life. They went on to become born again Christians. And I'm not knocking the, the religion, sure. But the first thing they did, because I am a honest person and I would never hurt anybody, I like to think I do the best I can. I certainly wouldn't, let me put it this way, I wouldn't do the things that they did. Okay. That said, then if they became born again Christians, they started pointing the finger at me because I was, because I heard dead people like my grandfather. And they became, and my father was so annoyed at this. And my husband said, you know what's really amazing about that? I said what? He said, it's okay for them to talk to Jesus who's been dead for 2,000 years, but they don't like the fact that you're talking to somebody's grandfather that just died last week. It was such a great thing to say. But in all fairness, I don't want to judge anybody and I don't want anybody mad at me. I just tell him, look, you do what's good for you and if it brings you peace, I'm happy for you. But absolutely, take this away from me. It gives me great peace.
Alex Ferrari
I mean, I understand it honestly, because once you, once you buy into a story, and that's the problem, I think, throughout, throughout human history, right. My story has to be right, so yours can't be right. Because if Yours is right then that, that negates or disrupts my story. And some people can let live and let live, you know, because I don't agree with everything that everyone says on my show. I don't agree with everything that everybody I ever meet. But I don't, I don't just start judging them or bashing them to believe what I believe because that works for me, right? And by the way, the story I'm working with right now is very different than the story I was working with two years ago or five years ago or 10 years ago. It's an ever evolving thing. So just like your, your relatives who are one way doing not so nice things and all of a sudden they're, they're born again. Then all of a sudden they're like, well, this is my new story. And then we're like, oh, her, she's not doing okay now I, I need. And it becomes ego and control and
Concetta Bertoldi
all of that's mean. And I had a guy one time come to my house. I, I had a, a problem with my rim on my car. I dented it, whatever. And so we had my friend who owns the auto body has a guy that works and comes to fix the rim. So he came here and he saw the name on my office door and he was very kind and very nice and, and then he looked at my side, he said, oh, is that you and I? Yeah, I'm Concetta Bertoldi. And he said, oh, what, what are you, a decorator? And I said, no, no, no, I'm not a decorator. He goes, oh, well, what do you do? And I wasn't going to go. I don't just automatically jump into that, especially now after learning all these years of being public. But I said to him, well, I'm a medium. And he went, wait a minute, don't stop right there. Don't say another word, I'll fix your tire, but don't talk to me, I'm a Christian. And I went, well, wait a minute, you don't understand. I am a very faithful woman and I believe in God. And I started to defend myself and he said, I don't want to hear it, I'm going to fix your tire. Don't say another word to me. It was so ugly. And it reminds me of what you and I were talking earlier, which is what's going on in the world. We're being spoon fed so much stuff on every news channel and social media, yes, media, news channel, whatever outlet you want to choose. And people are just sitting Home and just take it, believe it. It has to be because they said it. No, it's.
Alex Ferrari
But that. I agree with you. That. But there's a change happening. Concerta.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yeah.
Alex Ferrari
Your generation, definitely, without question. It's. My father. My father. My. And definitely my grandparents.
Concetta Bertoldi
Right.
Alex Ferrari
Believed the news. Oh, my God. That has to be real. Or a doctor. Or a doctor walks in the room.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yeah.
Alex Ferrari
Doctor says something. It's. It's gospel.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yes, it's.
Alex Ferrari
But the new. But the new generation's not like that. The kids coming, they're not buying it.
Concetta Bertoldi
No.
Alex Ferrari
Not buying it.
Concetta Bertoldi
I. I admire them for it. I admire them for it because I remember when I was very young, if a doctor said something, I just took them as. I don't want to use this expression, but almost like they were God. They had an oath.
Alex Ferrari
Yeah.
Concetta Bertoldi
You know, of course.
Alex Ferrari
Yeah.
Concetta Bertoldi
Honestly, that's not true. And now I question everything.
Alex Ferrari
And so with that said, it's kind of very much like a priesthood, almost a doctor.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yes.
Alex Ferrari
Because you and I both were raised in the Catholic environment, and the priest was a representation of God, and they could do absolutely no wrong. But I don't know if you've heard or not, but the Catholic Church has had a little bit of a rough. In the last, you know, 50 years.
Concetta Bertoldi
I have a big issue with it. When I went to the Vatican in Rome and I saw that. I saw how much money they have and how much artifacts that they could sell. Just one painting, and in one painting, they could feed a whole country. And yet they're begging poor people for their money. I resent. I mean, I'm sorry, but I do. If they really had their heart in the right place to want to help, whether it be to feed people or medically help people, sell one thing, the. The amount of money they have, and they have rules that don't apply to any of us. You know, they got their own rules and regulates. They're their own country. They could do whatever they want. You know, I have a real issue with that. And I will tell you one thing I have another issue with. My mother was raised, sadly, in a Catholic orphanage here in New Jersey. And I didn't know when I was growing up, she didn't burden any of us with this. But I can tell you this. When I got old enough, I started to hear stories about what happened to her. And it was actually heartbreaking, this. What they did in that orphanage to the kids, what then priests were capable of. So I don't get warm and fuzzy when I hear, you know, a nun or see a priest. I don't get all warm and fuzzy. I just don't.
Alex Ferrari
Yeah. And, and again. And, and it's not. You can't paint the brush with everybody because there are some priests I've met who are just been. They're so loving and they want to help. And, and same thing with nuns. Trust me. I went to Catholic school. You know, I completely understand it. But I also went to the Vatican. And when I was at the Vatican, I was walking through the museum and I'm like this, it was like an embarrassment of riches. There's so much packed in that they've oddly stolen from around the world. Some of it's theirs, but a lot of it's stolen around the world. But that's museums all around the world, by the way. It's in the British Museum, that's in America, you know, all that kind of stuff. But it was so much of it. And then you walk into St. Peter's Basilica and you're just like what? Like, it was so much that I, I had, I had a problem with it. And by the way, the cab driver driving us to the Vatican.
Concetta Bertoldi
See, we think alike, you and I.
Alex Ferrari
So I was, I was driving to the Vatican in a cab. An Italian, obviously Italian driving and he was just, he's, we're going to the Vatican. And he's like, oh, the Vatican. He josh on loads of all the, the crap and the, the stuff that they hear because they're there on the ground level and they, a lot of Italians resent the Vatican because of the power they have and missing children that happen that they just lost. This is all public. This is all public knowledge. So with all of that said, Concetta, we've been kind of going down this, this religious, this religious path. What you obviously we, and we've hinted about this a little bit. It has changed in your lifetime. In my lifetime, you know. And we'll use the Catholic Church because that's both what you and I grew up with.
We'll be right back after a word from our sponsor.

And now back to the show.
When I grew up, the Catholic Church could do no wrong. It was infallible. That's what they're, that's what they teach you. That's the indoctrination that they give you when you're growing up. But obviously so much has come out since then that there's cracks in the foundation, there's cracks in the wall that you can start seeing it all. Where do you see religion and what part is religion play in the next 10 years, 50 years, 100 years in humanity? Because I feel that people are going away from religion and starting to go back into what Christ actually talked about, which is the kingdom of heaven is within you. What I can do, you can do and more.
Concetta Bertoldi
Well, boy, this is deep. But I'm going to I would say about 15 years ago, I was in Mexico City working and I was doing an interview for a television show, one or the other, a magazine, whatever. And I remember I heard that they told the other side, told me there was somebody coming to this side or no. They said the person was already born, but this person was going to grow to be an amazing person to show faith or bring God back into the picture, whatever. I just remember not knowing how to explain whatever the person was here to do. And I and I remember I couldn't back it up, but I knew, I heard it and I knew that they said the person was already born and that we were going to hear from this person. And believe me, I was just as amazed as even when I was saying it because I, I couldn't imagine what they were talking about. And then suddenly I real because this was about maybe 15 years ago, maybe a little more. I remember when I realized who it was and I said, oh my God. Because the description was exactly who it was and it was Charlie Kirk. And I and I knew born, I knew when I heard about him and what happened. But it was also when I had done this in Mexico City, he had already been born, but was a little boy. He grew up to be what he was now, whatever his, Whatever his belief, religion, whatever you want to call it, because I'm sure he believed in Christianity. The point is that he was preaching that God is real. The bottom line is that he said God is real and we belong to one another and we owe it to one another to try harder and to find peace from one another. I mean, I'm not here to, you know, I don't want to be an advocate one way or another. I'm simply saying that I believe that he had good intentions and that he.
Alex Ferrari
I don't disagree with. I think everybody in one way, shape or form. Some people have.
Concetta Bertoldi
Not every kind of.
Alex Ferrari
Not everybody. I was about to say that not everyone has good intentions, but I think that the story that they tell themselves is that they're doing good work, you know, because you have to. In other words, you can't be the villain in the story.
Concetta Bertoldi
Right.
Alex Ferrari
It's hard to go to sleep if you think you're the bad guy. Darth Vader was saying, hey, I just want to the universe to be, you know, ordered and without this chaos. So. And that's. So I get that. So regardless of his political leanings, right? And he was definitely a lightning rod of a character. He was definitely a lightning rod of, of. Of a. Of a person.
Concetta Bertoldi
Amazing force.
Alex Ferrari
But I. And he was a force, and that's not deniable. He was a force. But I agree with what you're saying that it might have not been everyone's version of a God, right? It might have not been everyone's flavor of how that message was presented, but he was in his way, on his path saying, hey, guys, God is real.
Concetta Bertoldi
Well, let me get back to what you originally asked, though. You said, where do I see this going? And I want to answer that because
Alex Ferrari
the religion in general, just the religion going.
Concetta Bertoldi
I think there's a lot of catalysts, and he was one of them. But there's other catalysts. Because I think that maybe not in the next 10, 20, 30 years, but eventually on Earth. I believe that we're all going to come to. Even though it's hard to imagine right now, we're all going to come to a point where God, the universe, the energy, the spiritual energy that has created us, that we're all going to come to a conclusion that we all belong to the same one God. I really believe that. I totally just like, I believe this as well eventually. And as I said, I can't tell you 1020, 30 years, could be 100 years. But I do believe that eventually we're all going to be the same color, too. I don't think there's going to be white, brown, or whatever colors there are.
Alex Ferrari
And you're talking about. You're talking generally thousands. Yeah, yeah.
Concetta Bertoldi
That we're not gonna be all different the way we. We're going to be different individuals. But I believe we're gonna all be. There's gonna be hard to tell the difference of what ethnic background you come from, what.
Alex Ferrari
And I think what you're trying to say, if.
Concetta Bertoldi
If emerging constantly merging.
Alex Ferrari
Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying. I feel. I feel like what you're saying, at least the way I'm interpreting it, is that we are going back to the idea. Well, first of all, the greatest lie that was ever portrayed on humanity is that we are separate.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yeah.
Alex Ferrari
That's the first, largest, biggest lie ever.
Concetta Bertoldi
Separate, but, you know.
Alex Ferrari
No, no, but separate meaning that we're not all one.
Concetta Bertoldi
Right.
Alex Ferrari
That we're not all connected to. To source, to die. And that's one of the biggest lie that's ever been told. And that lie is starting to crack.
Concetta Bertoldi
Right.
Alex Ferrari
And as we move forward, that will start to be people. People will look back at this time the same way we look back at Rome and go, oh, God, the barbarians. There was. There was the Coliseum. They were killing these.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yeah.
Alex Ferrari
That's how we will be looked upon.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yes.
Alex Ferrari
500, 100 years from now, 500 years from. A thousand years from now, they will look back at us like we were. We were not savages, but not too far away.
Concetta Bertoldi
Barbarians. I. Barbarians. Yeah. I always say, I. I feel that sometimes when we look at our lives and we think about when the hard times were in our lives, you know, you sit back and you think to yourself, those are really hard times. But it's amazing because more time that goes by, you think about them as the best times of your life, even though they were the hard times of your life. Right.
Alex Ferrari
But. But they are hard when you're in it. It's hard when you're in.
Concetta Bertoldi
And I understand there are some things that still are hard to face or, you know, to reckon with. But I know myself when I look back in my life and I think about times that I thought, oh, my God, I was really struggling, you know, and I really had people and things that were making me feel lonely or left out or blah, blah, blah, or disappointed. I look back at them now and I say, oh, it was such stuff. I learned from all that. And it really wasn't such a hard time, because what came out of it is what I am today. And I'm pleased with that.
Alex Ferrari
I think that's the thing that people, I think as. As you get older, you start to look back at your life and you start seeing these elements that, that are some of them, the breakup, the job loss, the career, not going to where you wanted to go.
Concetta Bertoldi
Love lost, biggest love. Somebody got away.
Alex Ferrari
Yeah. Or. Or thank God, they got away.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yeah.
Alex Ferrari
Like, good Lord, I'm glad that she left me at the altar. No one left me at the altar. Everyone, please, no, no comments. But just as a. As a. As a statement, because you look back and you go, I wouldn't be who I am. People always ask me, they're like, would you change anything? I go, I might have bought Apple at $3, but other than that. But, you know, you know, maybe bought a couple bitcoin back in the day, but other than that.
Concetta Bertoldi
I know now. But it's all. Exactly, honey. You know what I mean, darling? It's really all part of our evolution. And I'm sure 100 years ago, the people that were living alive on Earth then would have never imagined what we're at, where we're at today and what we're doing today, what we're saying today, what we're seeing today. It's evolution, and we can't stop it. It's just going to continue to evolve.
Alex Ferrari
You know that. It's interesting. I've been thinking about this lately, about this, but. And maybe it's because I'm getting older and, you know, I'm thinking a lot more about these kind of things, but, you know, as we're being. As we're growing up and we're going through generation after generation after generation. Like, I just. And please don't laugh at me when I say this to you, but I just realized that I've lived through six decades. Six. I know. You see, there you go. You laugh at me, but, you know, I know, but I just did the math. I go, wait a minute. I. I've lived through six decades. Not. I'm not 60, but I've lived through three. Six different decades. So I've experienced three different. Six different times in human history, right. That are just segments and how it's evolved. And the way I was raised, the way I've experienced life, sets me up in a certain way that, you know, 50 years from now, I'm not sure how. I mean, I think I'll probably roll with the punches, and I'LL probably evolve. But there are people who can't or don't want to let go of it. And I feel, I feel empathy for them because they just, they're like, I want it, I want it to be. And I think that's one of the biggest problems in the world today is that people are trying to hold on to what it was and not embracing what this is going to be and trying to fight that because it's going to be what it's going AI is going to be, whatever AI is going to be. The Internet, when it came out, people were terrified. It's been a ruled and now we look at us now, you know, it's,
Concetta Bertoldi
I tell people, keep an open mind. You're better off keeping an open mind.

Concetta Bertoldi
You are allowing yourself to the possibilities by keeping an open mind, right?
Alex Ferrari
Yeah, yeah.
Concetta Bertoldi
No, absolutely.
Alex Ferrari
Yeah. Not only.
Concetta Bertoldi
There are some people that just refuse to go with the flow or to grow.
Alex Ferrari
Exactly.
Concetta Bertoldi
They get stuck in what was in 1950. It's not 1950. This is 2026.
Alex Ferrari
Well, we're all on it. We're all in a river and the river is going in a certain direction right now. You can stand up and, and, and stand up. And now you're place. The river is still going. The river doesn't stop. But you're standing in that river now. But eventually you're going to get tired of standing, let alone trying to go back.
Concetta Bertoldi
Right.
Alex Ferrari
It will give and get more tiring going back. So what will happen? You will eventually get tired, lay down and the river is going to take you.
Concetta Bertoldi
I know what I mean. And it's not easy because the technology and everything's changing so much and you have to really stay on top of it to keep growing. I always say I want to, I want to rent a kid just to live with me, to tell me how to work my technology because how much that changes too, right?
Alex Ferrari
I mean, it's changing, it's changing almost weekly at this point.
Concetta Bertoldi
Like imagine where we're going to be. I mean, think about that one.
Alex Ferrari
So, so let me ask you this concerta from your point of view, speaking to the other side and just your general idea of how things are working, why do you believe everything is sped up so much? Because, I mean, I, when I was born, I was the remote control for my grandfather.
Concetta Bertoldi
Right.
Alex Ferrari
And from that point of having three channels and holding the antenna, you know, and I was born in the 70s, so, you know, you have a different perspective. So you even have a farther back perspective. But, but the point is that in just my life, I've seen things exponentially speed up from like, oh, we have beepers, oh, we have phones, oh, we have the Internet. Oh, we have social media now. And now AI is changing. I mean, monthly. There's a brand new model, a brand new that. It's so fast that I'm like trying to catch up myself.
Concetta Bertoldi
I want to disagree with you here. I don't, I don't think it's sped up at all. I think it's, it. I think it's moving at the same pace it always has. And I think the things that are changing, I think if you had been alive in 2009, 2010 or 2020, and you were living at that time and the things that were happening to those folks who lived on earth at that time were probably saying the same thing you're saying right now.
Alex Ferrari
It's all about perspective.
Concetta Bertoldi
Everything's changing.
Alex Ferrari
Oh, yeah. When the Model T came out, they probably said the same thing.
Concetta Bertoldi
They were like in shock, you know. So I just think it's all fair enough. I don't think it's sped up. I think that we are moving at the same pace. And that's why. And I, I say the same thing because I planned a birthday party for my husband and that was six months ago and it's already next week. And I'm saying I remember I had so much to do in the six months before this, and it feels like I just went. And here it is.
Alex Ferrari
So time does seem to be speeding up. Maybe not, but it's not. I know, but it feels that way, doesn't it?
Concetta Bertoldi
Feels that way. Yes. And it feels that way for. I think you might be thinking that because it feels that way because we're getting so much information so much quicker than we did.
Alex Ferrari
Yeah.
Concetta Bertoldi
You know, we, like 20 years ago, we were not. We were limited. First of all, computers gave us, gives us so much information, you know, and so much other, other things as well. But before that, we had to wait for it to come on TV, me home from work at 6:00 clock at
Alex Ferrari
night, or newspaper or newspaper.
Concetta Bertoldi
Constantly giving us so much information so fast that it feels like that. But I don't think it really is changed in terms of speed. It's just because we have more access to getting quicker, quicker, quicker.
Alex Ferrari
You know, Concetta, if someone. Since all these things are happening around the world and, and this time is a pretty unsettling time right now that we're for people who are really afraid out there, what advice do you have for them on how to deal with this?
Concetta Bertoldi
That's so, it's so true. I love that question, baby. And the reason I like it is because I'm one of them. I suffer from anxieties and panic attacks. I have done a lot of work on this and looked into very deeply causes and different cures if you will. And I know for myself it has a lot to do with past lives that I've had lived. I know I've been here many times, we all have. But there are some that have been here even more times. But anyway, what do I tell those people? There is help. You don't have to suffer and it doesn't have to be through alcohol or medication. I know it's hard to believe that something so simple could help you when you're frightened or in worried. But what I. One of my favorites is because I have a tendency at night when the sun goes down, because I don't sleep well, because the dead are always. No, I could tell you stories, really. But anyway, so if I go to sleep, the dead are always trying to interrupt my sleep or interrupt me because my subconscious heightens and my conscious mind is trying to rest. So what happens sometimes is I start to panic if I start thinking about something I have to do or I'm worried about something. I'll give you an example so you can understand. I had skin cancer on my head. And that was a horrible experience. And it was going through that. Anybody who's ever had to go through Mohs surgery, it's, it's, it's grueling. And when I had it, I never had it before. So it was doubly impactful because I was so thinking, oh my God, I had this scar that went across here. And so I give that example because I found another spot and I thought that it was sat. And I said, you know, skin cancer. So of course when you're distracted during the day you think about it, but you have distractions so it doesn't get as worrisome. But when you go to bed at night and you're all alone. And now you start thinking about the same thing. It becomes doubly impactful. Now you run it through your head. I'm worried, what if it is? I got to go through that again. And, oh, God, now I have to make the appointment. And if, God forbid, it's that, then I got to make that appointment. So you get wrapped up in a panic of anxiety. What? I find there's two things that really help me. I don't care what your religion is, but find something that you believe in, in your faith and a person in your face. All right? I also am very friendly with some Indian people. Went to my husband, built an Indian temple. It's beautiful. The person they worship is Sai Baba. And Sai Baba is like a savior. Okay? So if you're. I'll give you this example. If you're Indian, you might realize, I mean, refer to Sai Baba and pray. Sai Baba, I need your help. Please help me and. And bring anything into it that you can. In that religion, I would say, God, hear my prayer. Help me to please relax. Fill my body with the Holy Spirit. Mary, Mother of God, wrap your arms around me. Let me feel your energy of peace. Please help me in the name of God, hear my prayer. That's what I would do. Now, if you're still panicking even after that, then I call this change the channel. What that means is if you're so completely taken away by your anxiety, stop what your anxiety is what's causing your anxiety by changing the channel. Get out of bed. Or if you're not in bed, you're somewhere else. Do something that you like doing. Me, I'll get out of bed. I'll go clean out my closet. I have a Goodwill bag. I'll go in and figure out, what else do I need, what else can I donate? And I start filling a pot pit, making a pile. Before you know it, you're so focused on, did I wear that? Did I do that? Do I need that? And you're so focused on it, you're not thinking about that anymore. And then your mind tends to relax because the prayer takes over. And that's what helps me. I start to relax from focusing on something else that I find important and that I want to do. And the prayer starts kicking in that my mind is starting to have the effect of the energy of who I called upon to help me to relax. And then finally I can go to bed and take care of whatever it is I was worried about the next day.
Alex Ferrari

if they evolve on our world and they start and everything so that we're all closer together and more apt to accept each other. Let's just not get rid of Italian food.
Alex Ferrari
I mean look, stay the same. Look, I, I gotta tell you, I mean before we go, I went to Italy and this a few years ago, first time went to Italy, started in Napoli, then went up to the Amalfi to Sorrento. Went to Sorrento, beautiful Sorrento. Went to the Amalfi coast, then went to Rome and then went to Florence. I flew, flew to Florence and I, I, we ate so much.
Concetta Bertoldi
You can't get a bad meal.
Alex Ferrari
Every 15ft there's a gelato place. I'm not exaggerating, I know every 15ft there's a gelato place, there's a pizza
Concetta Bertoldi
joint, there's get a five star meal and a great bottle of wine.
Alex Ferrari
I, I was in Amalfi, actually the town of Amalfi and I went in and there was a bakery there or yeah, a Bakery from 1870. It had been the exact same thing. It's been a bakery this entire time, you walk in and it's the most beautiful thing. There was literally chocolate flowing from the walls. That's not an exaggerated. There was a waterfall of chocolate. And I'm just like, what. What is happening? How it. How are these people alive? They eat so. They eat so much. It's so beautifully. But the food is different. It's. The food is very different, and there's so much love there.
Concetta Bertoldi
I know exactly what you're talking about.
Alex Ferrari
I adored. I adored the trip. And I got to. I don't know if I told you this, but I actually got to go into the. Not the caverns, but the crypto where all the. I went to the crib. The catacombs.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yeah.
Alex Ferrari
I went into the catacombs of the Vatican, and I went to where all the priests were. Another priest. Popes. With all the popes.
Concetta Bertoldi
Oh, wow.
Alex Ferrari
And I got. It just happened to be open that day. And we just walked in, and I turned. I turned to a left, and I looked over, and there was. Everything's white. It was a white marble. Everything. Like all the coffins, everything. All the Crips, everything's white. But there's one room that had a glass and partition, and it was full of color, and it was wood and art and all that. And the energy that I felt from there was very different. And I turned to one of the people that worked there. I go, what? Who's in there? And they go, well, that's Peter. I go, peter, Peter. He goes, yes. That's why we. Yeah, no, Peter. Peter, the apostle.
Concetta Bertoldi
When I was there. Wow.
Alex Ferrari
So I actually was down there, and it's not open all the time. It just happened. I was just walking by, and the guy's like, would you like to come downstairs? I'm like, okay. I mean, it was. It was the craziest experience, but I felt the energy there. It was just such a. I was
Concetta Bertoldi
like, whoa, that's wonderful.
Alex Ferrari
So that was powerful. Oh, it's beautiful. So there's. You see, that's the thing that a lot of these. These institutions do have a lot of beauty in them.
Concetta Bertoldi
Yes.
Alex Ferrari
All of them. All cultures, all religions have beauties. And I've been. I was in Spain, and I went into a mosque, and it was the most beaut. One of the most beautiful buildings I've ever built, Been in.
Concetta Bertoldi
I go to the Indian temple. I wear Indian clothes because I enjoy it. Anyway. I wear my little thing that says I'm. I do. And I love it. And I love the women there, and they make food and I love Indian food, so it all works for me.
Alex Ferrari
Concetta, before. Before we finish off, is there any final words you want to give leave to the audience?
Concetta Bertoldi
Yes. I want to tell you in Italian. What it means is eat and get that.
Alex Ferrari
