If you went on a road trip and you didn't stop for a Big Mac or drop a crispy fry between the car seats or use your McDonald's bag as a placemat, then that wasn't a road trip. It was just a really long drive at participating McDonald's.

Here's adventure, here's romance. Here's the famous Robin Hood of the Old West Cushco. He is getting closer this way. Pancho Pamela the Cisco Tip if you went on a road trip and you didn't stop for a Big Mac or drop a crispy fry between the car seats or use your McDonald's bag as a placemat, then that wasn't a road trip. It was just a really long drive at participating McDonald's. Now the Cisco Kid in our gripping story Killers at Large. In the early days of the West, Sage City was a brawling, lawless town that gave shelter to cattle rustlers and criminals of all types. For years. It was an axiom that if you wanted to find a particular outlaw, look for him in Sage City. Naturally too, the outlying law abiding communities felt the repercussions from this criminal element. As our story opens, two hard looking men are riding through the little settlement of Pineville, some 10 miles distant from Sage. Not a cafe in the blasted place. And me hungry as a bear. I'm hungry myself. Todd, let's stop at this next cabin and get us some grub. Good idea Mike. Yeah, some pretty good looking cattle out on that range behind the cabin. Yeah, not Many of them, but they're good and fat. We better keep this place in mind, Todd. We sure will. Lighter. I don't know whether there's anybody at home or not. Here is a woman in the cabin. I just saw her pass by the window. Come on, we'll walk right on in. Hey, ma'am, how's chances of getting something to eat? Well, I ain't used to having strangers walk right into my house. Never mind that. Rustle us up some grub. We're hungry. I would have if you'd have come here polite, but now I most certainly won't. All right, then, we'll take it. There's a loaf of bread and some cheese over in that table, Mike. We'll take that. I'll get it, Todd. Oh, no, you won't. You won't touch that food. Get out of my way. John. John, these ruffians walked right in here and they're taking our food. Well, they won't take it. Let him have it, Mike. I sure will. Come on, Todd. I got the grub. Let's get out. Do not tell Pancho where we go. Amigo, today we are not going anywhere in particular. Nowhere in particular. We're just going to ride as the spirit moves us. If we want to ride north, we will ride north. We ride north, we want to ride south, we'll ride south. West or east, too? North. Well, at the moment, I think I will stop at that spring for a cool drink of water. Cool water, too. All right. You first, chico. You first, chico. Others wish to drink it this spring. All right. You, out of our way. We're in a hurry. Yeah. Move, Humbrey. One moment, senores. Cannot say I care for your manner. Oh, you don't? You don't care for our manner, Mike. Now, what do you know about that? Get out of my way. You're not pushed back to, um. And f. To push you right back. That settles it. Since you two are looking for trouble, you can have trouble. Come on, Todd. Right. I can help you. He's coming. You can help me, best amig. Keeping out of the way until I dispose of this one. And now this one. Stand on the speed, Cisco and Poncho. Bloody hom. In the stomach with the head hom. Sit down. Quick. C. Next time, perhaps these two will remember their manners. Let us have our drink of water, Poncho, and then we will ride on. After the big fight. I do not wonder, Pancho, you fought a very fine fight. Denied it. But let us ride through this little town, and then we Will look for a place to make out see. And then pines. You'll have to see us. Chico's gonna have the cabin. Chisco. I say. Hey, friend. Just. Would you help me, please? Say, senora, please wait. The apple. Yes, my lord. We help the senora. Senora looks scared, Chico. There's no doubt of that. Chico. Hold the avocado. Once one of you rides to the doctor, he lives sing down at the end of the throne. Tell him I want him to come you right away to send him a husband. I'm Matilda Ames. Si, senora. Your husband is ill. He was shot down a few minutes ago by a couple of two legged coyotes. Don't hurry. When do you. Please. Why don't you ride for the doctor? You do that, Pancho. I will help the senora if I can. Go over. Go for the doctor. Come, let us have a look at the senora. I know something about gunshot wounds, senora. Well, then come in. Johnson conscious? I don't know. But what. Maybe he's. I will turn down these blankets if I may, senor. These are bad wounds, but I do not think they will be fatal. I pray they won't. Senor's pulse is quite strong considering his wounds seem to be fresh wounds. I will cover him again so that he will keep warm. But what will we do you have a clean pot of cloth? Get it for me, please, senor. Tell me about the hombres who shot the senor. Well, they. They just walked right into the house and demanded food. When the guns come in. They just shot him down. Were they both wearing black sombreros, senora? Yes, yes. And one of them had a red and white polka dot kerchief around his neck. He's the one that shot my husband. This cloth is. Stand clean, stranger. Gracias, doctor. Camaraderie. She's good. Bueno, Pancho. Senora, we met those two hombres. Start out after them as soon as the doctor gets here. And I give you my word we will meet them again. I'd sure like to go back after them two mavericks with rifles, Mike. Not me. Why not? Didn't you hear what the fatman called the big one? Called him Cisco. That means a Cisco Kid. Well, what of it? I ain't scared of the Cisco Kid or a dozen more just like him. And you don't know much about him, bar none. Cisco is the toughest number in the whole west, even if he don't act like it. Now we're back in Sage City, we better lie low till that shooting Blows over, we could round up a gang of the boys and dry goats. Him I'm letting well enough alone. Here's Blaine Billings place we can hide out of him. Well, maybe you're right, Mike. I know I'm right. There's Blaine over near the corral. He ought to hide us out all right. You got rich off the cattle we've rustled for him. Howdy, Blaine. Howdy. Howdy, boys. What can I do for you? You can hide us out for a few days. Got yourself into trouble, huh? It could be trouble. Well, that's none of my business. I'll hide you out for $20 a day a piece. What? $20 a day? Why, you robber bellies. Nothing doing. Maybe Cisco won't find out about that shooting. Cisco? Cisco Kid? Yeah, that's different. I hate every hair of that hom's head. If you got into trouble with him, I'll hide you out for nothing. Got a little room. Set it up in the barn loft. After you turn your horses into crowd, you can go up there. Cisco Kid. We'll see nothing. Follow the tracks. No more Cisco. Not here in the state city. No, we cannot, Pancho. Too many other tracks have been made since those two umbre road this way. And how we find these umbre right now, Chico, I do not know. Let us stop for a moment in the shade of these cottonwoods. Oh, they'll hold over. Ho. We look in the cafe, Cisco, See? We might look in the cafes. But let us do a little bit of reasoning, Poncho here. The chances are those hombres are cattle rustlers. Cattle rustlers. And if so, they would be likely to hang out at Blaine Billings rancho. Their name's Charlie. Mike's is go pantry. Hear this. See, he's blamed Billings as a shrewd and crafty buyer of stolen cattle. Two years ago I helped to bring that umbre to court where he was fined a great deal of money. He not like you for that, huh? No, but that makes no difference. No difference? No difference. His rancho is just a little way down the road. Pancho, you will go there first. The tough times. He's got dog orange and the trees. Yeah, cover them Big Maria tortillas. I would not be surprised, Poncho. Although that would have to be very tough. Here is Billings spread. And there is Billings himself. Perhaps you remember me, Billings. Perhaps you not remember Pancho. What do you want here, Cisco? I'm looking for two hombres. They are called Todd and Mike. Are they here? Never heard of him. Are you sure? Look you two ain't welcome here. Now keep going, Pancho. Better get the bullwhip, Cisco. Never mind the bullwhip, Pancho. Billings, you lie. I see their horses over in that corral. Hey, boys, come on over here. Poor hombre is going to look tough. All right, Cisco. Now what are you gonna do about them horses? I'm going to look around this place of yours, hombre. Aval, boys, go ahead and try. That is just what I'm going to do. All right, your Mavis. Which one of you wants to draw first? Well, go ahead. I'm waiting. None of you, it seems very well. And move out of my way. And the first hombre who tries to stop me will find himself in trouble. I said move out of my way. This guy. You're talking mighty big. Just how long do you think you'll get away with this? I seem to be getting away with it right now, hombre. See, hombre? Just go get away with it. You're not worried, boys? You're gonna let Cisco get away with this? Your gang does not seem to be as brave as you are, hombre. They're not saying nothing, Cisco. They go in now? Yeah, they do. Well, Billings, seems to be up to you. What are you going to do? I'm waiting, Cisco. I've been waiting for this. This is what I'm gonna do. That gun that do the umbrella no good. Now shoot my gun out of my hand, will you? See, I did, Omri. The next time my aim may not be as accurate. Hey, hombre. The next time, Cisco, maybe Mr. Gonna get you. All right, Billings, be on your way. Sure, Cisco, but I ain't going far. You and me's gonna meet again soon. Cisco, make the hombres back down. No. See, Pancho, for the time being. Mm. Now, you see those footprints leading her to the barn? Yes, yes, yes, yes. Come, Pancho. I think the hombres we want are in there. Cisco, be careful. The rings. Hombre may come back. See, that is possible. You stay here by the door of the barn just in case we have trouble. Keep your gun ready. I'm going up that ladder into the loft. Oh, no, you ain't the guy. She's slow, Homily. Jump down into her and I'm finishing you right now. Cisco, that is not my idea. Homily. She's loading. Come down the ladder. You don't have the door. She's gone. Let him go, Pancho. We will get him later. Now we will see about this finishing. Omri. You want to bite some arsenal? No, no, that's enough, Cisco. I quit. Very well. Hold out your hands. I'm going to tie them. What for? Where are we going? I'm taking you back to Pineville to face a charge of shooting to kill. How far do you think you'll get? Just go the other army. Going to get the Village gang, huh? That's right. He will. Go on. Try to take me back to Pineville, Cisco. Just try to take me there. Bancho. Have your guns ready. Use them if necessary. Because we are going to take these bontero all the. But with the outlaw Mike rounding up the Billings gang, Cisco was in for plenty of trouble. In just a moment we'll return to the Cisco Kid. If you went on a road trip and you didn't stop for a Big Mac or drop a crispy fry between the car seats or use your Madonna McDonald's bag as a placemat, then that wasn't a road trip. It was just a really long Drive at participating McDonald's.

On a road trip and you didn't stop for a Big Mac or drop a crispy fry between the car seats or use your McDonald's bag as a placemat, then that wasn't the road trip. It was just a really long drive at participating McDonald's. Now back to the Cisco kids in our gripping story Killers at Large. In the stable of Blaine Billings, buyer of Russell cattle, Sisko came to grips with the two outlaws who back in the town of Pineville, 10 miles distant, had shot down John Ames. Sisko captured one of the outlaws and tied him, but the other got away. Meanwhile, out in the ranch yard, some of Billings tough looking rustlers are gathering. Now if you think those hombres will let you take me back to Pineville, you better think again, Cisco. We will see about that. Cisco give you that hombre? Not you worry, Pancho. Keep your gun through somebody's back. Yes, Cisco. What do you do, Cisco? Stay right here, Pancho. You Billings. I'm warning you, Cisco, you're going too far. Tell one of Your men to rope that coyote's horse and saddle him. What? You heard what I said. On quickly. Sure. Right away, Cisco. Right away. Billings, you are asking for just what you are going to get. Well, Cisco, knock him down again. Why you. Get up on your feet. Give that order now, Billings. All right. Easy, Cisco. Easy. Joe, rope and saddle that pinto. All right, Fancho. Here, Cisco. Bring that ombudy out here. Yeah, look ahead and fight you one day. Hurry up with that horse. You ain't gonna get away with it, Cisco. Yeah, remains to be seen. Jabba logo here to Pancho. Now you hombre Schetto. I'm taking these buzzards back to Pineville. Remember this. My bullet can reach him before any bullet of yours can reach me. You do not believe it. Watch that splinter sticking up out of that corral post. Watch it closely. Come off. Keep that in mind. Hey you. Get up on that horse. Get up there. We are ready, P. We're ready to walk. Our guns will be drawn down. Yeah, local. Let it walk back, Cisco. H not draw the gun. I do not think they will just yet, Chico. Make no mistake. Before we get to Pineville, there is going to be shooting and plenty of it. Hey, boys, boys. Keep quiet a minute, will you? Listen, I need some help and come right over here to get it. Me and Todd was hiding over at Blaine. Villain spread. Yeah, heard you was Mike. What happened? That blasted Cisco kid come riding right in and took Todd off. Cisco's taking him to Pineville. What happened to Blaine in the membranes of his. Didn't they put up no fight? Fight? Pisco's got him buffaloed. Had a set to his Blaine and shot the gun right out of Blaine's hand. Looks like to me Cisco's got Blaine plum scared. Now, some of you boys work for Blaine. I understand your boss is Yeller, but I can't get no help from him. Now the thing is. Thing is Cisco and his partner's getting too big for their boots. We let him get away with this, this your town won't never be safe for us again. Now what do you say? We're gonna let him get away with it. Boys, looks like we gotta take some action. If Billings is gone Yeller on us, we better take things in our own hands. That's the way to talk. That's the way. Let's sit down and make a plan. Now we don't need no plan. Come on, man, let's get going with Mike here right now. No, no, no. Wait just a minute. Wait a minute. We can't just Write them down or Cisco will get top. I tell you, we got to talk this over and make a plan. And then we'll get Cisco. Wait a moment, Pancho. Here's where the trail splits which go where she's gonna. I believe they both end up in Pineville. Pinecho think we're not far from Pineville now, Xisco. There are several miles from there. Yet that trail is the one that has traveled the most. So I think we will take this one, amigo. All right, let's come, Cisco. Say, many of them up this trail. Quickly. Come on up, Yellow. Hey, wait a minute. My cinch is loose. That trick will not work. Omri, get your horse up this trail. All right, get up. Come get there. Ah, this is far enough. Stop by these boulders. Now, if they come up this trail, be ready for them, Pancho. Yeah, Pancho ready. And Pancho got the old bullwhip. Never mind the bullwhip. Get your gun. Oh, say, get the gun. Not can hit nothing with the gun, though. Ghetto. Ghetto. All right. Now then, which trail did they take? Why don't you hope? They're not gonna need to sign. Good. Yeah, I reckon they'd take the main trail, boy. Come on, now. Come on. Did not get us then, Cisco. And now we get to pint. I hope so. But do not be too sure, Poncho. They may come back along this trail and try to dry gulch us. That is the chance we will have to take up the other. Come on. Last of all men, we cut the wrong trail. They must be on the other one. Let's ride back that one, Mike. No, no, no, no. Wait a minute. Now, wait a minute. These trails come into one at this point. If we try to rat Cisco down, he'll get Todd. First thing to do is to drag us right here. I agree with you. We got plenty of COVID to do it from. I know it's mighty near the town, but what do we care? Get your horses out of sight, boys. Get under cover and I'll make the first shot. Good trail going. Another trail down below. There, he's called. Let's see it. Amigo, Right now I would like to know where that gang of riders is. You find out, Cisco. You have to. Gombre, Nobody talked to you. I doubt very much if they rode through the town. And yet I see no dust rising from the other trail. Does not like something ahead. Buncho look. And like something neither. Back up your horse, hombre. You are directly in front of me. Counter that bullet. Come close. He's going off your horse. Buncho, we get undercover. No, no, no. I have another plan, amigo. They will not shoot down their own man. Kind of got you now, ain't they? No, they have not. I will get up behind you on this horse. He's gone in your ribs. Now order the zombies to stop shooting at once. All right, boys, hold it. Fire. Hold it. Cisco's got the drop. They stop shooting. What we do now, Cisco? I'm going to ride right through the middle of those cathedral. Pancho, you had better lead Diablo and right ahead of us. They will not shoot. You tell them, Humphrey. Hey, put away the guns, boys. Sister's got a gun in my back. And Cisco will use it if he has to. Come on, Hunter. Come, Diablo. Right through the middle of them. Pacha's hair. Stand up on the end. She's full. It will not harm you, Pacho. Just try to appear unconcerned. Fine to try, but lay down here. Lay down. All right, Cisco. Maybe you're getting away with that. But not for long. There you are, the other bandido. Ho, ho, ho, ho. I'm coming after your neck. Stombre. Cisco. Cisco, it's the sheriff of the party. Come on, boys, let's get out of here. Pacho, explain to the sheriff I'm going after that other bandido. Thunder. What's all this? Pacho, you tell the sheriff right now. I have no time to explain. Come down off that horse. Frontier, go with you. Cisco, come down off their horse. Sight ran away from me once. This time you are not going to have the chance. Here, I'll help you, sis. Never mind, Sheriff. Watch that gang of writers. They may circle back. You are the one who shot down Senor Ames, are you? Oh, no, no, not me. You live bantido on the word of the senora. I will knock that lie back into your teeth. Not the piece. Back into the bandido. All right, all right. That's enough. No more disco. Then stand up. I take those guns from you. By thunder. Me and the Parker was out looking for those two. Homie, Cisco here we have them dumped right plumbing her laps. From now on, they are your responsibility, Senor Sheriff, the senora will identify these two for you. Yeah, she tells you. Sheriff, one of you boys go tell Matilda we're riding into town. John's better now, so she can leave him. I'll go, Sheriff. Here. Come on. It's the easiest arrest I ever made. Looks to me, Cisco, as if you're a good man to have around. Well, I am very happy to learn the senora is going to get better, senora. Aren't you happy too? Here. The doctor says John will get better. I can't even begin to thank you and Pancho. Enough disco. Oh, you have nothing to thank us for, senora. Not nothing, senora. Well, I. I do just the same. Poncho, what are you sniffing that way for? Me Parch. Not. No. He's sniffing Cisco. He's got his nose pointed right toward the kitchen. Sisco. I see, senora. That is usually the way his nose is pointed. Pancho smell something with Sisco. Pancho, that is not polite to sneeze so. But Pancho not sniffs hisco. Just Poncho's nose. What? Sniff. Panchinette helps with Pancho's nose sniff. Oh, Marcy. Well, you didn't give me time, Pancho. I was going to say that I'm cooking up a big meal for you and sis. That is very kind of you, senora, but there is no need for you to go to all that trouble. No, no, Cisco not tell the she know of that. Well, that's the way I like to hear anybody talk, Poncho. And we'll sit down and eat after I give you a good big hug, Cisco. Gracia, Senora. That hug was really a hug. Oh, I tell you, I got good muscle, Cisco. And now you, Poncho.

The senora cook good, Chico. Yes, she's a wonderful cook. Wonderful, wonderful. But it is good that you are not married. Good, Fancho not married? Gee, with that appetite of yours, your wife would have to be in the kitchen all the time. See? But Cisco, yeah, maybe that. Why Big Maria not say she marry Poncho? Big Maria, did you ever ask her to marry you, Chico? One time Pancho asked Big Maria to marry Pancho. Oh, when was that? Oh, long, long time ago, she said. Well, tell me about it, Pine. She goes to Big Marie's for a big meal. For a big meal, see? And Big Maria cook up a big meal herself. And P eat and eat and eat and eat and eat. I can believe that Big Maria's eyes get wider and wider and wider and wider and wider. I can also believe that Poncho after the big meal, P feel good and happy. Big Maria, what Pancho got to do so you marry Pancho, you said, what would you have to do so she would marry you? What Poncho gotta do. Ah. And what did Big Maria say to that? He look at the empty dishes on the table. And she say, what Pancho got to do? Pancho got to give me chloroform. Oh. And so ends another exciting adventure with O. This digitally restored episode transports audiences back to the Wild West, capturing the essence of the golden age of radio with enhanced audio quality that brings every sound to life.
"Killers at Large" unfolds in the early days of the West, specifically in the lawless town of Sage City, renowned for harboring cattle rustlers and various outlaws. The story begins with Cisco Kid and Pancho riding through the nearby settlement of Pineville, a small town approximately ten miles from Sage City. The tranquility of Pineville is shattered when two rough-looking men, Todd and Mike, enter a cabin owned by Matilda Ames, forcibly taking food and ultimately shooting her husband, John Ames ([04:06]).
Cisco Kid and Pancho arrive in Pineville seeking provisions and stumble upon the aftermath of the violent incident. As they interact with Matilda, tension escalates when Todd and Mike confront them:
A confrontation ensues, leading to a fight where Pancho assists Cisco by subduing Todd and Mike. This altercation sets the stage for Cisco Kid's pursuit of the outlaws responsible for the shooting.
Returning to Sage City, Cisco Kid devises a plan to track down the culprits. He engages with Blaine Billings, a known associate of the Rustlers, seeking information and a hiding place for the outlaws. However, tensions rise as Blaine attempts to exploit the situation for personal gain, prompting Cisco to take decisive action:
Cisco's determination leads him to confront Billings directly, leading to another intense showdown where he leverages his reputation as the toughest man in the West to assert control.
As the story progresses, the true nature of the outlaws and their connections to Sage City become apparent. Cisco Kid collaborates with Pancho to strategize their next moves, employing guile and bravery to outmaneuver their adversaries. The climax builds as Cisco Kid and Pancho corner the outlaws in a tense standoff, culminating in a dramatic showdown that underscores Cisco Kid's prowess and justice-driven mission.
Ultimately, Cisco Kid and Pancho successfully apprehend the outlaws, restoring peace to Pineville and ensuring that justice prevails. The episode concludes with a heartwarming resolution as Cisco Kid and Pancho share a meal with Matilda Ames, highlighting the enduring themes of camaraderie and righteousness.
Throughout the episode, several memorable lines capture the essence of the characters and the tension of the narrative:
"Killers at Large" delves into themes of justice, camaraderie, and the relentless pursuit of righteousness.
