Welcome to the Old Time Radio Westerns. I'm your host, Andrew Rines, and I'm excited to bring you another episode absolutely free. This is one of over 80 episodes released monthly for your enjoyment. Now, let's get into this episode.
Charlie Lyon
Kellogg's, the greatest name in cereals, presents Wild Bill Hicker.
Andy Devine
Hi, folks. Hold on to your hats and gallop along with Guy Madison as Wild Bill Hickok and his pal Jingles. Which is me, Andy Devine. We've got another Rootin tootin Wild Bill Hickok adventure story for you from that famous talkin cereal, Kellogg's Rice Krispies. Snap, crackle, Pop.
Charlie Lyon
Today, Kellogg's Rice Krispies, the world's only talking cereal, brings you Wild Bill Hickok, transcribed in Hollywood and starring Guy Matheson as Wild Bill and Andy Devine as his pal jingles. In just 30 seconds, you'll hear the exciting story that the Coyote kids return. Hear that crowd cheer? Some cheer. But it's nothing compared to what you'd hear from a crowd that included all the folks who enjoyed Kellogg's Rice Krispies for breakfast this morning. You bet. Millions of folks like to listen to the cheery snap, crackle, pop Rice Krispies makes when the milk hits them. And they love that Rice Krispies flavor. And so'll you. Cause Kellogg's Rice Krispies are tumble toasted. You know, that spins them full of crispy goodness and makes them golden toasty all over. Why don't you ask mom to get a big package of Rice Krispies today, then have a real delicious breakfast tomorrow? United States Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his friend and deput coyote Jingles met many an odd character on their trails through the Old West. One of the strangest ever to cross their path led them into an adventure that almost cost them their lives. The Coyote kids return.
Andy Devine
Now, Bill, you ain't just gonna walk into that gambling hall asking for trouble, are you?
Guy Madison
I believe in giving a man fair warning. Jingle.
Andy Devine
And you figure Slayton's got a warning coming?
Guy Madison
Yep.
Andy Devine
We don't know that he had anything to do with robbing the Wells Fargo.
Guy Madison
No, but he's been making a big play at keeping the whole town of Blake Wells scared of him. I figure it's better to warn him now. Maybe it'll slow him down.
Andy Devine
Well, here he comes. I'm just gonna stand back and keep an eye on his boys over there in the corner.
Slayton
Well, now, if this isn't a surprise, we the great Wild Bill Hickok, paying us a visit.
Guy Madison
Howdy, Sladen.
Slayton
Never thought I'd see you in a gambling hall, Hickok. Isn't this against your high and mighty principles?
Guy Madison
I didn't come to gamble, Sladen. What you can call trying to save a man's neck sort of a gamble.
Slayton
Yeah, might be at that. Whose neck you got in mind, Marshall?
Guy Madison
I was thinking about your neck, Sladen.
Slayton
Mine. Now you listen to me, Hickok. No mealy mouthed lawman's coming into my own place and getting smart with me.
Guy Madison
I just came to warn you, Sladen. You keep on running the town the way you have been and one day you're gonna make a slip.
Slayton
Oh, yeah?
Guy Madison
And when you do, I'll be there to pick you up.
Slayton
You're asking for it, Hickok.
Guy Madison
I wouldn't signal your boys unless you want to bury a few of them.
Slayton
Why be a lookout?
Andy Devine
Well, I keep telling them it don't pay to mix lad with Wild Bill Hickok, but they just won't learn.
Guy Madison
You got a couple of guns yourself, Barner. Thanks.
Andy Devine
Don't mention it, Bill. It was a pleasure.
Slayton
All right, Hickok, you win this round. But you better not set foot through them doors again. Unless you come in with both guns blazing.
Guy Madison
You make it mighty tough to be friendly with you, Slayton.
Slayton
I don't need to be friends with tin horns like you and that big lug you call a deputy.
Andy Devine
Now just a minute, you lower jingles.
Guy Madison
We've had our say. We might as well be going.
Andy Devine
What in the world is that? Hey, Bill, look. Jasper's riding that horse right inside this hall.
Coyote Kid
All right, all right, you white living maverick. Stand aside. My horse is thirsty.
Andy Devine
Well, I'll be. Dog gone.
Slayton
Hey, what's the idea?
Coyote Kid
What's it to you, fancy vest? Don't stand there. Get my horse a drink of water. Clean water.
Andy Devine
Jump, I said, Bill, this young buck sure feeling his oath.
Slayton
Yeah, and I'm going to cut him down to his size.
Guy Madison
The little old Ed sled and I'll handle this. All right, son, climb down over that horse. Simmer down before you get hurt.
Coyote Kid
You don't scare me. Not buckskin britches. Who are you? Not that it matters much.
Andy Devine
Boy, you're sure close to sprouting wings. Nobody talks that way to Wild Bill Hickok and gets very far. Wild Bill.
Coyote Kid
Holy smoke. Well, Hickok, you ought to know it's your death to mix with a Coyote Kid.
Andy Devine
What?
Guy Madison
Easy, Jingles.
Andy Devine
But, Bill, who in the thunder? Ever heard of the Coyote Kid?
Unknown
You ever hear this sound, Charlie?
Charlie Lyon
You bet I have. That's a camp cook calling the cow hands to chow. And doesn't he usually yell come and get it?
Unknown
He sure does, though at breakfast he often hollers Rice Krispies. Boy, that makes them come a running.
Charlie Lyon
Yeah, those Rice Krispies do all right speaking for themselves. Now, when you pour the milk to them, they sound off with snap, crackle, pop. And when you hear that, you know you're in for some delicious eatin'thanks. To Kellogg's exclusive Tumble toasting process. Each grain is spun full of crispy goodness and made golden toasty all over.
Unknown
Sure makes them taste fine too. You just put some berries or sliced bananas on those Rice Krispies if you really want a dish. And that's worth riding long and hard for.
Charlie Lyon
You bet. It's certainly worth seeing that there's always plenty of Rice Krispies on hand in the kitchen so you can enjoy them whenever you feel hungry.
Unknown
Get em on Mom's shopping list. That's the way to get them on the table. Then when breakfast comes around, you'll always hear that welcome.
Andy Devine
Rice Krispies.
Charlie Lyon
You said it, Slim. Now let's get back to Wild Bill Hickok. When the reckless young rider identified himself as the Coyote Kid, Jingles asked a question in everybody's mind.
Andy Devine
Now who in the blazes is the Coyote Kid?
Coyote Kid
I am your big cub. If you ever been to Montana, you wouldn't have to ask.
Guy Madison
All right, boy, party's over. Lead his horse out, Jingles.
Andy Devine
Their pleasure. Now, come on, sonny. Let's go out in the sunshine.
Coyote Kid
Hey, what do you think you're doing?
Andy Devine
You may be a big man in Montana, son, but in Blake, well, you're just another cowpoke with a head full of feathers. We gonna lock him up, Bill?
Slayton
Now hold on, Hickok. The Kid ain't done nothing more than a little hoorain.
Guy Madison
That's right, Slayton.
Slayton
He's got a little too much nerve. Maybe, but I like him.
Andy Devine
That's nothing in his favor.
Slayton
You leave him to me. I'll tell him how you operate here in Bleak Wells. Marshall. You'll be all right.
Guy Madison
Sure he will.
Coyote Kid
You got nothing to lock me up for, Hickok.
Guy Madison
I'm not locking you up, kid. But I can give you a piece of advice. Stay away from Sladen.
Coyote Kid
I reckon a Coyote Kid can take care of himself, Hickok. I pick my own friends. And when I need your advice, I'll come a running. But don't you hold your breath.
Andy Devine
Doggone your ornery little Hyde. Bill says let you go, I'll have to do it we're gonna keep an eye on you and just the same. And don't you forget it.
Slayton
Well, kid, I got a feeling you're gonna like it here around Blake Wells.
Coyote Kid
Ah, it's not a bad town at that. Slater.
Slayton
Oh, it's a right good town if you get in with the right people. Don't let Hickox scare you.
Coyote Kid
A tin horn marshall don't scare me. Just got that drop on me, that's all.
Slayton
Sure he did.
Coyote Kid
And he might live to regret it someday.
Slayton
Yeah, I got a score or two to settle with Hickok myself. Hey, you and me's gonna get along fine. I'm well and good. We can use a kid, a man with sand like you around here. Come on, I want you to meet some of the boys. All right, boys. All right, you jugheads, simmer down. That's better. Now step up and shake hands with the Coyote Kid. Just blew in from Montana.
Coyote Kid
Howdy, man.
Slayton
Be careful how you mix with the kid here. He's right quick with these peacemaker. Reckon he might be riding with us for a while. And I got a feeling he's going to be a big help. A real big help.
Charlie Lyon
Hey, hey, hey.
Andy Devine
Help build the courthouses on fire. Get a bucket, Jingles.
Guy Madison
Jingles, wake up.
Andy Devine
Get two buckets, Jingles.
Guy Madison
Hey, partner, come on, wake up.
Andy Devine
Bill, a fire bell.
Guy Madison
That's the alarm clock, Jingles. Turn it off, will you?
Andy Devine
Oh. Sure thought the doggone thing had burned down that time. Well, morning, Bill.
Guy Madison
Morning, Jingles. Did you have a good night's sleep?
Andy Devine
I sure did not.
Guy Madison
Mm. Why not?
Andy Devine
How do you expect me to sleep when I know a high, roaring Jasper like the Coyote Kid is on the loose.
Guy Madison
The Coyote Kid?
Andy Devine
We should have locked him up, Bill. Why? He might have shot me in the back while I was asleep in the front.
Guy Madison
Now, Jingles, you know you have to have a reason to lock a man up in jail. And he hadn't done anything.
Andy Devine
Who's making all that noise before breakfast?
Guy Madison
I'll find out. Well, Mr. Muggin.
Mr. Muggins
Don't you wow me, Bill Hickok. You've been sleeping, haven't you?
Andy Devine
Sure he has been. Nighttime, hadn't it?
Charlie Lyon
Nah.
Mr. Muggins
I thought so. Sleeping for the first time in my 10 years as manager with the bank. I was robbed last night.
Guy Madison
Robbed?
Mr. Muggins
Yes, robbed. And while you were sleeping.
Guy Madison
When'd you find that out?
Mr. Muggins
Just now, when I opened it up for the morning business.
Andy Devine
Ah, then you were sleeping, too.
Guy Madison
Hold it, Jingle.
Andy Devine
But, Bill, I was.
Guy Madison
What did the robbers get, Mr. Muggins?
Mr. Muggins
Almost $5,000 in gold notes.
Guy Madison
Your own issue?
Mr. Muggins
Yes.
Guy Madison
Then you'll have the numbers.
Mr. Muggins
What's yours?
Guy Madison
Go back to the bank and make me a list of those numbers. Don't let anyone else know about it.
Andy Devine
Oh, Bill, you don't have to be so mysterious about who did it. You know doggone well that.
Guy Madison
Never mind. Jingles.
Mr. Muggins
What were you gonna say, Jingles?
Andy Devine
I was just gonna tell Bills. Huh?
Mr. Muggins
Well, go on, you big windbag.
Andy Devine
I was just gonna say what a nice day it might have been if you hadn't knocked on that door and good day, Mr. Muggin. Whoo wee. There is a pint side tornado if I ever did see one.
Guy Madison
Yeah, you would be too if you'd lost $5,000, Jingles.
Andy Devine
Bill, you know I couldn't be a pint sized anything. It's gonna be easy to get us 5,000 back.
Guy Madison
You think so? Pardon?
Andy Devine
Sure. Just find the Coyote Kid and there it'll be.
Guy Madison
I wouldn't be too sure about that. We saw the Kid at Slayton's gambling place last night, though. Let's go see if he's there now.
Andy Devine
There's Slayton coming out of this place.
Guy Madison
Yeah. Hey, Slayton, I want to talk to you.
Slayton
What do you want, Hickok?
Andy Devine
Easy, Bill. He's got a bunch of his guns to looks lined up behind those windows.
Guy Madison
Yeah, I see him, Dingle.
Slayton
What do you got on your mind, Hickok?
Guy Madison
But maybe you might know where I could find the Coyote Kid.
Slayton
How would I know? I haven't seen him since last night.
Andy Devine
You sure about that?
Slayton
Yeah, I am sure. He left my place about dark, acting like he had something on his mind.
Andy Devine
Well, I reckon he did something about robbing the bank.
Slayton
What are you talking about?
Guy Madison
He wouldn't know anything about the bank being robbed last night, would you, Slayton?
Slayton
Me? No. Was it?
Andy Devine
Yes, it was. And you'd better tell us where the jingles.
Guy Madison
Well, he had, you see, the Kid left here just after dark last night, huh, Slayton?
Slayton
Yeah, and I thought he was gunning for you, Hickok. He was right sore about you getting the drop on him yesterday.
Andy Devine
Hey, Bill, look. Here he comes. A Coyote Kid. Quiet a little.
Guy Madison
What's that, Slayton?
Slayton
You better watch him, Hickok.
Coyote Kid
I rode out there just like you said, Slayton, but I didn't.
Slayton
Hickok, he's drawing. I'll get him for you.
Andy Devine
Hey, what's going on here? Doggone it. That's what I'd like to know.
Guy Madison
You almost made a bad mistake, Slayton. The Kid didn't draw his gun?
Andy Devine
Yeah, and Slayton ain't gonna draw his gun for a while either, Hickok.
Slayton
You're gonna regret that.
Coyote Kid
Hey, hey, Slayton, why you gone?
Guy Madison
Never mind, kid. Let him go.
Andy Devine
And come down off that cayuse. You're under arrest. What for?
Coyote Kid
You can't take me, you bitches.
Guy Madison
We won't call this an arrest, kid, but I'd like to have you walk over to the bank with us.
Coyote Kid
A bank?
Andy Devine
What for?
Coyote Kid
I don't get this.
Andy Devine
I never saw so many people who didn't know nothing about a bank robbery. I'm gonna search this one bank robbery.
Coyote Kid
Nobody's gonna make me a fall guy for robbery. Come on, get out of my way.
Andy Devine
Oh, no, you don't. Now nobody gets away from me. Sonn.
Coyote Kid
Look, look, you let me go. Let me go and I'll get the sidewind of the Diderot.
Guy Madison
That won't do us any good, kid. And if you're being used as somebody's alibi, I guess we better put you where you won't be so useful.
Andy Devine
Yeah, in the calaboose. Now come on, move.
Coyote Kid
All right, all right, I'm coming. But I tell you, you're making a big mistake. You lock me up and you miss a big chance to catch a bank robber red handed on another job tonight.
Andy Devine
You hear that, Bill?
Guy Madison
Yeah. Jingle. But I don't always believe what I hear.
Coyote Kid
Hickok, I know what I'm talking about. We're being watched right now. Every move we make.
Charlie Lyon
This ever happened at your house. The whole family comes down for breakfast, and before you know it, there's a mad scramble for the box of Kellogg's Rice Krispies. Now, if you're not fast enough, it may be quite a spell before the box gets to you. And it may even be empty by that time. Well, now you can do away with that brush for the Rice Krispies box if mom brings home Kellogg's Rice Krispies Handy Pack. Cause you see, Kellogg's Rice Krispies Handy Pack is made up of eight generous individual boxes of Kellogg's Rice Krispies. Each one is separately packaged and all eight are wrapped together with cellophane. You just take one for yourself, open it, and shake those delicious puffs of golden Rice Kellogg's Rice Krispies right into your bowl. No muss, no fuss, no bother. Have mom look for the Kellogg's Rice Krispies Handy Packs at your groceries. Now how about joining in our song?
Unknown
Kellogg's Rice Krispies, Kellogg's Rice Krispies. Let's march right up to the table Now Rice Krispies taste the best and how Snap, crackle Kellogg's Rice Krispies, Kellogg's.
Charlie Lyon
R Bill Hickok seemed to pay no attention to the Coyote Kids, pleading and warning of another robbery. But after the kid's cell was locked, Bill and Jingles headed back to the bank for a talk with Mr. Muggins.
Mr. Muggins
Right in here, Hickok. I haven't touched a thing. I saw you lock up that junk, scallywag.
Guy Madison
You don't miss anything, do you, Mr. Muggins?
Mr. Muggins
Pays for a banker to know what's going on here. There. Take a look. That young bandit did a real neat job.
Andy Devine
Sure did. How'd he move that safe?
Guy Madison
That's right, partner. How did he move a safe it take two men to lift. How did he wear three different pairs of shoes and then ride away on three horses all at the same time?
Mr. Muggins
What are you talking about, Hickok?
Guy Madison
Just this. The Coyote Kid didn't do this robbery.
Mr. Muggins
Then who did?
Guy Madison
I mean to find that out, Mr. Muggins. You know anybody who's got a lot of cash on hand right now?
Mr. Muggins
No, I. Yes. Yes, I do. Payroll came in at the railroad office. Tomorrow's payday, and that's it.
Guy Madison
Jingles, we don't get much sleep tonight.
Slayton
Now listen, you jugheads. You think Hickok's got me stopped, but that's where you're wrong. And he's got the Coyote Kid. There goes your fall, guys. Laden? Not for long. Bull, you and Woody are going to break the Kid out of that jail tonight. What for? Use your head while you're doing that. We'll be getting the payroll from the railroad office. When Hickok wakes up, he'll find the payroll money and the kid both gone. So he thinks the Coyote Kid's done the robbery again, huh? That's right. Now, remember, you get the kid out at midnight sharp. I get you, boss. All right, get moving. You got less than half an hour. And if Hickok happens to show up, start shooting and don't stop till he's stretched out dead.
Andy Devine
Neil, if you're expecting somebody to make a try for that payroll money, what are we doing hiding outside the jail?
Guy Madison
Because a robber wants us to think the Coyote Kid's been doing these robberies? Yeah, so they've got to get him out of jail to make him look guilty.
Andy Devine
So when they try jailbreak, we grab them?
Guy Madison
No, we let them. Go ahead.
Andy Devine
Now, Bill, that don't make any sense at all.
Guy Madison
It will, Jingles. You just be ready. Hey, quiet. Here they come.
Slayton
All right, Woody, put that hook on those bars.
Coyote Kid
Hey, what's going on out there?
Slayton
Shut up, kid. We're getting you out of jail.
Coyote Kid
Who are you?
Slayton
Bull and Woody. Slayton's in us.
Andy Devine
Bill, did you hear that? Slayton?
Guy Madison
Cinema Slayton?
Coyote Kid
What's he want with me?
Slayton
He's gonna do you a favor. You don't wanna spend the rest of your life in jail, do ya?
Coyote Kid
Well, no.
Slayton
Well, we're getting you out. Then you can hightail it down the road.
Coyote Kid
All right, go ahead. Pull those bars out.
Slayton
Okay. Woody, it's midnight. Oh, you care.
Guy Madison
All right, Jingles. Now run for that railroad office.
Andy Devine
I'm coming, Bill. Whoop dog. Gun him.
Slayton
Hold it, Woody. Hey, hey, who's that? Woody, you take off.
Andy Devine
You sidewinders. Take a load of lead yourselves.
Guy Madison
Come on, Jingles. We're wasting time.
Andy Devine
I got the horses right here, Bill.
Guy Madison
Then hit the saddle. Steady.
Slayton
One shot.
Andy Devine
Old still Joker. You Henry, old hay baby. Right, partner. I box your eyes, Joker. Bill, those blasted jailbreakers are chasing.
Guy Madison
Forget them, Jingles. We gotta catch that payroll robber.
Andy Devine
They'll hear the shootin and get lost.
Guy Madison
That's what I'm afraid of. Bastard.
Andy Devine
Buckshot Dog. Gun it. What'd I have to fall down for?
Guy Madison
There's a railroad office, Jingles. All right, close in.
Andy Devine
Hey, Bill, there's some men coming out of the door. It's Slayton.
Guy Madison
Burn down, Jingles. They see us.
Andy Devine
They're getting away, Bill. After.
Guy Madison
We've got to catch them with the money in their hands. And Slayton's got the payroll pouch.
Andy Devine
Bill, those two jaspers are still coming on behind us. If we don't get shot in the chest, we'll get it in the back. Jump, Joker. Get me out of this.
Guy Madison
All right, Jingles. I'm going after Sladen.
Andy Devine
Be careful, Bill. Get ain't buckshot. Your time's run out, Slayton.
Slayton
You're asking for it, Hickok.
Guy Madison
Not ain't buckshot. Now, mister, you're coming off that horse.
Andy Devine
You bit off more than you can.
Slayton
Chew this time, Hickey.
Guy Madison
Maybe so, Sladen, but I can sure try.
Andy Devine
Tryin ain't good enough. We'll see about that. All right, you jugheads. Now line up or you won't get a chance to go to jail.
Guy Madison
That's real good, Jingles. I got em covered.
Andy Devine
And two more coming, Bill.
Guy Madison
All right, Slayton, get up. We're going back to your place and have a look in your safe. What I expect to find there in this payroll. I figured to wrap you up for about 20 years.
Andy Devine
Well, here they are, Bill. Mr. Muggins and the Coyote Kid.
Mr. Muggins
Some meaning to this, Hickok. I don't like getting pulled out of bed at this hour.
Guy Madison
You got that list of numbers on the stolen gold notes, Mr. Muggins?
Mr. Muggins
Yes, yes, right here in my pocket.
Guy Madison
Good. All right, Slade. And open up that safe.
Slayton
You're not getting away with this, Hickok.
Andy Devine
Billy's got a derringer up his sleeve.
Slayton
You're not using it.
Guy Madison
That was your last bid, Slade. Now open that safe.
Andy Devine
Hell, he ain't got a fall guy this time.
Coyote Kid
He was blaming it all on me, wasn't he?
Guy Madison
He sure was kidding.
Andy Devine
Got the safe open. Hey, Bill, look. Wells Fargo Gold in the gold notes.
Mr. Muggins
Let me see the old series 237. That's it, Hickok. That's your money from the bank.
Guy Madison
All right, Jingles, that solves all three robberies. Slayton and his gang are headed for jail.
Andy Devine
What about the Coyote Kid?
Coyote Kid
But I didn't do anything, I tell you.
Guy Madison
That's right, kid. You just gave Sladen a chance to pick you for a fall guy with that phony bad man act.
Coyote Kid
I reckon his teacher's made good. Lesson, Mr. Hickok. It don't pay to be a phony. If it hadn't been for you, I could have been killed or jailed by now.
Guy Madison
That's right, kid. This could have been a real close call for you. You know, you're very lucky.
Andy Devine
Yeah, and Bill knew you were a phony all the time. Besides, no real bad man would call himself the Coyote Kid. Cause a coyote's a coward and nobody's admitting to that. You ought to pick a name that fits you like mine, jingle. Then everybody knows you're just big and happy like me.
Charlie Lyon

Summary of "The Coyote Kids Return | Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok"
Podcast Information:
Hosted by Andrew Rines, the "Old Time Radio Westerns" podcast transports listeners to the rugged landscapes of the Wild West. In this episode, "The Coyote Kids Return," the iconic U.S. Marshal Wild Bill Hickok, portrayed by Guy Madison, teams up with his loyal partner Jingles, voiced by Andy Devine. The episode is a digitally restored classic Western radio drama, enhanced to deliver a rich and immersive auditory experience.
The adventure begins in the bustling gambling hall of Blake Wells, where Wild Bill and Jingles confront the town's autocratic figure, Slayton. Slayton's oppressive control has kept the town under his sway, and Wild Bill is determined to challenge his authority.
Wild Bill warns Slayton about his tyrannical rule, emphasizing his commitment to justice and fairness. Slayton responds defensively, hinting at the tensions that will drive the episode's conflict.
The tension escalates with the sudden entrance of Jasper, known as the Coyote Kid, who demands water for his horse. His brash demeanor and cryptic remarks add mystery to the unfolding story.
The Coyote Kid's presence introduces a new dynamic, raising questions about his intentions and connections within the town.
The plot thickens when Mr. Muggins, the bank manager, reports a significant robbery that occurred overnight while Wild Bill and Jingles were asleep.
Wild Bill begins to suspect that Slayton or his associates may be involved in the robbery, especially after noticing irregularities in the Coyote Kid's behavior.
Slayton devises a cunning plan to frame the Coyote Kid for the bank robbery, orchestrating a jailbreak to ensure the Kid becomes the town's scapegoat. This deceit aims to manipulate the town's perception and conceal Slayton's own misdeeds.
Wild Bill, ever vigilant, begins to unravel Slayton's scheme, recognizing the move to divert suspicion away from himself.
In a dramatic climax, Wild Bill and Jingles intercept Slayton and his men as they attempt to retrieve the payroll money from the railroad office. A tense showdown ensues, culminating in Wild Bill confronting Slayton and exposing his wrongdoing.
Through strategic maneuvering and bravery, Wild Bill uncovers the truth, revealing that Slayton orchestrated the bank robbery and attempted to frame the Coyote Kid to cover his tracks.
With Slayton's deceit unveiled, the Coyote Kid is exonerated. The town of Blake Wells witnesses the fall of its corrupt leader, restoring peace and justice. The Kid expresses gratitude towards Wild Bill for saving him from false accusations and potential harm.
"The Coyote Kids Return" masterfully blends classic Western themes of justice, deception, and heroism. Through dynamic characters and a compelling narrative, the episode highlights the eternal struggle between right and wrong in the untamed frontier. The digital restoration enhances the storytelling, offering listeners an enriched experience that honors the golden age of radio dramas while making it accessible to contemporary audiences.
