Pandita Ramabai on Caste and Gender: Dr. Abhay Kumar explains

Pandita Ramabai, the nineteenth century woman scholar and activist from India, clearly said that the sufferings of women are the result of caste society. The religious scriptures, instead of opposing inequality, justify it and deprive women of their freedom. On International Women’s Day, Dr. Abhay Kumar remembers the life and struggle of Pandita Ramabai in his article in Inquilab, March 8, 2022.
