But talks about how, you know, the men who put themselves on the field are the ones that are going to succeed and the dudes in the stands are going to throw down shit. But men are on the field taking the bullets and taking the wounds are the ones that succeed.

It's funny, you know, Even so, my mother's got her master's in theology of religion, and we were at this kind of Bible study group the other night, and I was talking to our friend. I said, so, you know, what's up with the. The prodigal so son story, right? Like all of these. But it is. But like everybody always says. Oh, they. People use the word, oh, the prodigal son. Look, he's the one who's awesome and did good. But the story, if we all spend all the money. Yeah. The guy, the prodigal. So the screw up, right? Like the good doting son who stayed there, watched the family, tended the farm, kept everything stable and alive, and did everything he was told to do. Then you have the other one who left, partied, blew all the money, did nothing. He comes back and he's celebrated, and this other one is put down. What's up with that?

But guys like you or me, we've tore our lives down. But let's talk about the other son. I don't want to hear a story about a dude that always had a shit together. That's boring. How to hear a story about a dude who ripped his damn life to pieces.

I was noticed the beauty of just the calmness of sitting at the beach and being content with sitting at the beach. And I had never felt that and that serenity that comes along with sobriety. But I think chasing growth.

I got one for myself because I usually get one for me, one for you and my wife does that stuff. Babe, that's a little big, so I like it, but it's dope. Yeah. So good stuff, man. All right, today is a Q and A. Everybody's favorite man. And we, we love you guys. You're always so kind in your, in your questions and comments. So we appreciate every one of you guys. So we'll kick us off.

Sure. All right, question one. Hi JD and well love the podcast. I listen every week. I'm 38 year old male with 810 total tests. My free test is 11. All right. Bioavailable is 310. I feel good, but want to feel optimal. My SHBG is above the normal range. Right. Through consultation, it seems like I'm not eating enough carbs, but I want to stay lean. I do 16 hour fasts four times a week and stick to meat, fat and fruit. And I do some form of working out every day with four days of lifting heavy each week. Currently I'm taking Reta 0.5mg Monday Thursday and 75mgs of NAD plus Monday Thursday. I was told to take boron and introduce more carbs into my diet. In doing some research, it seems like Kiss Peptin might help free up some of my testosterone. Is there anything else I should be considering? How would you go about addressing this?

Recent weight loss. So if your sex hormone binding globulin is high, which it is, it's, it's going to basically hold down that test. So it's not going to release some of the free tests, which is for people that don't know the free test is what you want. It's going to give you your energy, most clarity of thought. Sex drive, we all want that sex drive and that is what you're low on. So you know, you want to get that down. Now Kiss pectin, you know, you work, but I think in Regards to your fasting and whatnot, you could be not eating enough calories. I'm sure you know this by now, that I fast a lot and I was going to really kind of bring down my fasting. I've really been studying it a lot, you know, and kind of circling in and out. But I think fasting is great for many reasons. But one of the things that you can do when you don't, when you fast is you don't eat enough or you don't definitely don't eat enough protein. So you want to increase your protein. Now, you can increase your carbs if you want, but I would just make sure you're eating enough calories and what's been working for me. And try this. I still love Carnivore. I'm saying like an 8020 carnivore and what I've done with a lot of thinking and like just methodically planning my diet out, I love to carnivore too much to just walk away for it. I'm eating carbs before I work out and carbs after I work out. Especially I'll up the carbs on leg day. So generally 40 to maybe 50 carbs before the workout and then around that same after workout. And then I fast. And so at nighttime it's. It's protein and it's. I'll bring the fat down a little bit because of the carbs, but just really high protein. And that works for, for me. So that will help. I think instead of adding something into the mix, I think if you just did something like that by make sure you're eating enough calories, that's going to change it a lot.

You know, if your calories are too low, if you're being overweight, you don't say your weight in here, did he?
William T. Ha
I don't think so. No. But it's something like he's in.
J.D. Denim
Yeah. So you. Yeah, right, right. So too low calories can actually do what it's. What's doing. Absolutely. It's. This is like you're perfect. It sounds like why you're doing that as you have low calories. I bet you if you just raise your calories and eat more, you're going to get a little bigger and you're going to feel a little bit better. And so try what I'm doing. I literally just posted something today of my fasting protocol and when the my carbs. So if you look at the reel that I put today or it's a carousel, I wrote that up today. And how my Guys put it together. So check that out. Maybe.

Yeah, I agree with everything you said. I think that other. It is very true. I think that the calories need to go up a little bit. Carbs go. And carbs go up. Like no calorie restriction and low, like insulin signaling and fasting can absolutely contribute to an elevated shbg. So maybe chill on the fasting. Listen to JD Also add carbs in. But like you did say, hey, I don't want to add carbs because I want to stay lean. So, so cool. Add carbs in. But be smart about when you introduce carbs.

You eat pre heavy lifting days. Okay. Like that's what you want to add them in. Like nothing at night. You can have some good, some good healthy natural carbs like in the morning time. Right? Because then you're moving all day long and burning those off. Right? But so you can add those in and that makes a. That will probably make a big difference drug wise. Enclomiphene is something to think about. I think the Kiss Peptin, since you're on trt, you're on trt, is it not?

Yeah.
William T. Ha
Is it? Kiss Peptin may not do it. Because basically, if you're on trt, your pituitary is not thinking about making any more natural tests. And that's what kisspeptin does. And so it kind of shuts off that kisspeptin from working. But you can try. Enclomiphene would do the same thing. But it does not. It is not. It starts, it works downstream so it's not affected by your pituitary already saying, I have a lot of testosterone in me. Okay. If you're not on trt, then everything I'm saying is don't worry about it.

I don't think he does, actually. But. And clomiphene is a good idea also. The, the. You want to go straight to the source. And if you're willing to do this. Proviron. Proviron is an A. Yeah.

Oh, wow, that's great.

Super duper mild anabolic androgenic steroid. Right? It's an oral tablets and people. The best you'll see out there, people go, oh, I take proviron because it enhances everything. Well, why does it enhance everything? It literally goes in. So your androgen receptor, right. And your sex hormone binding globulin essentially binds to this whole receptor. And. But we need this receptor. That's where the testosterone Connects. Once it connects. Hey, our body feels that test. Right. But if the whole thing is covered.

Yeah.
William T. Ha
The sex hormone binding then you have this much room for your test to grab on and. And that's not enough. So you take Reviron, it just tears that all off and makes that androgen receptor fresh. And now everything can attach to it. So now all the tests, everything else is going to work a whole lot better and your body will work a lot better.

Yeah, that was a good, good call on that. I didn't think about provider. It really will free up some of your free tests. I would make sure you're on TRT though.

If anything. Proviron's the one that like does it actually on paper it says Providen will actually kind of boost testosterone. Natural testosterone. Now in practice, probably I don't really know. But yeah, it's hard to say because it still is a steroid. But I would. Yeah. I mean if anything provider be the one that I would say is probably is better off and you can maybe get away with not taking. Being on test.

But better with tests because everything is.

You know, I mean your free test is okay, 18. I mean it's actually bad. But that. That low. That low free test is too low, man.

Yeah. And then magnesium, zinc are also good. Micronutrients and boron. Yeah, yeah, try them all. So see what do it that in whatever order you want to do it.

My question is around gout, which is an unusual buildup uric. Uric acid in the joints, mostly in the toes and feet, causing redness, swelling and very painful situations that generally last a few days. There's a genetic component to gout and at family members who suffer from affliction intermediately. Are there any peptides that have been shown to prevent it or at least I crossed over that lower the symptoms the inflammatory response mitigation. Has KPV and TA1 come to mind Thoughts on this or anything else? Thank you. Good. Yep.

Nailed it. So I would absolutely. KPV and TA1 and BPC. So like KPV for sure is known to just kind of inhibit the cascade of inflammation that may be happening and that is what happening when you of gout. BPC as well. So KPV, TA1, BPC and then even some honorable mentions. The funny thing is, when you read about aod, it's actually kind of this weird research finding that AOD can help with inflammation in, like, tendon and joint recovery. It's like, how does that even work? Because it's now, I guess it's a derivative of it comes from the HGH chain, but it has none of that growth possibility. But SS31. Honorable mention also for this to help reducing inflammation and because your mitochondria plays a role in how on in oxidative stress and how you handle your body handles inflammation. And AOD might also be something to throw it at it, but TA1, BPC and KPV are the top obvious winners.

Yeah, I was curious about those. Anybody's weight? It would help. Guys, if you put your weight, age. Some of those things are important when it comes to answering some of these, at least the best that we're able to. He already said TA1 and KPV. Amazing. It's gonna lower your inflammation and boost your immunity. He really answered it. How about alcohol? Cut out alcohol. If you think, yeah, that's probably the most given. Hopefully you don't drink because that definitely can worsen gout for sure. At a buddy that drank so much and he had the worst gout. Couldn't even put, like, blankets over his toes.

And then sugar, which obviously goes off alcohol, but clean up the diet, maybe cut out some carbs for a bit, you know, and just kind of go that route, you know, and that might help. So there you go.

All right, ready? This is a short one. Question number three. When you're cycling off GHKCU, MOT C and SS31, what are peptides? Replace the benefit of these PEPs when you're cycling off. If you cycle off GHKCU and add Glow or CLO, are you really cycling off? No. It's a valid question. So. No, I mean, GLOW and CLOW have GHKCU in there, so that does not count as cycling off of ghkcu. You are just adding bpc. You're continuing ghkcu. You're adding in bpc, TB, and KPV in the CLO scenario. Nad. So now you said, hey, what could I replace essentially with of mat C and SS31? Okay, those are mitochondrial peptides. They're focused on keeping your mitochondria, well, strong, healthy, and giving it energy. So NAD is the first one that comes to mind. Yeah, I would have 100% add in nad others. Well, no. What do you got? Did you think.

I mean NAD is great. You don't say much. It's super vague in regards to the question what's your age? What's your weight? Are you hormonally optimized? What's your objective you're taking these for Obviously I'm assuming for energy to maybe fix your mitochondria. But you do want to take a break. You know, I speak with experience. You want to take a break. Will already said NAD is going to be great. Hopefully you are on trt. I would throw in a pedagogue. I do wish I knew your weight because that kind of is contingent upon that HGH will always take the top seat then for I think Will and I both. I think he likes the TESSA ipa. I like to just plain tessa. But any secret agog would do well. And contingent upon the GHKU kcu. Why you're taking it. How about the GHKC Snap bait face here. I don't know what your your problem is your objective, but that would work for that. But trt, nad, Aceta, Cretagog or hgh and maybe the face serum contingent upon your objectives which you didn't state but maybe that answers it for you.

5Amino 1 MQ is another one that can. Can help out in mitochondrial functions. So that's another good one to maybe replace. And it helps burn fat.

You can have that on anything. And really the reason you want to cycle off is like the is is just because your body starts building a tolerance and it just stops working as. As well. So that's. That is the main reason in all these peptides that you want to cycle off. Not that like continued use is going to cause severe withdrawals or anything like that. Or it's bad for you. Now ghkcu, you get that one. You don't want to just constantly just flood yourself with copper. Yeah, that one you do want to cycle off for other reasons because it might end up being bad for you.

I would think though, even in like mitochondria, like we, we if like the objective is to fix this stuff and then to not run them in perpetuity. I mean TRT is probably will be around for perpetuity, maybe even hgh. But some, you know, the objective isn't like, let's take these forever. Right. And it'll be good for your pocketbook, but it's to fix the mitochondria, the SS31 first and mod C and then take a break. Nad without a doubt will be a good replacement. Yep, that's. You can replace it.

All right. Okay. There seems to be no gray area with AOD 9604 in regards to if it works or not. People say it does or people say it's great. How can there be such a gap on its efficiency? JD says it's one of his top five, but others say it's trash. It's very true. I'm intrigued by od. Could you go deeper in the peptide and why such varying opinions? Yeah, I love aod. Now if AOD is not retatrutide, it's not going to affect your appetite. So we humans want an instant. I want it to work right now. Right. So that's not that type of peptide. So the reason I like it in particular is because I'm in pretty good shape. So my diet's usually prime, my workouts are prime. I'm hormonally optimized, so it works great for me. It's, you know, anti obesity drug. It's main job is to burn fat. I'm a fat burner guy and I will always be that. And that's why. So do I think AOD would work against retatrutide? Not even close. If you're not hormonally optimized, if you need to lose 50 pounds and you're not working out much, AOD is going to suck. So that's probably the type of person answering that. Not always, but that's probably why. So it's not going to replace some of the things that I think that give you the instant gratification, but ran properly on top of a good diet, on top of hgh, on top of being hormonally optimized. I think AOD is great. It literally is my top five and I just.

It's manipulated to be a little bit more stable. But bodybuilders have been taking HGH frag forever and having good results with it. Okay. And that. But it is AOD is. Should be a. Like an adjunct treatment peptide. Right. Like, it should not be your. Like, this is my fat burner.

It does make a huge difference if you take it in a fasted state. So anybody who's taking it with a full stomach of food is just basically blunting its effects.

It also is. It can degrade really fast and is very finicky with water. We know it's like hydrophobic and you need to mix it with acetic acid. But it can degrade very fast. And so maybe people have check your sources of where you get this from. Right. You're handling your own handling procedures. And because. So you don't ruin your own product. Right. That can contribute to people saying that it's crap.

I'm learning so much and Peptides have become a way to finally work with my husband on my passion for healthy living. Right on. Several questions here. I'm a 38 year old female with celiac disease, GI issues and intestinal cystitis and cystotite. Whatever. My current stat consists of Glow and DSIP at night, CLO and DSR morning is 5Amino 1 MQ Mott C and I add AOD on my workout days 3 to 4 days a week. Been in tirzepatide a few months, recently discovered retta. I have been microdosing both but just the last couple of weeks. I also use nad midday three to four days a week. 30 units from a 500mg vial which should be just 30mg. If you're adding 5 mils then it's 30mg. I'm doing basic dosing for all of the above but still seem to be lacking energy wise and my sleep debt score stays fairly high. I weight train four days a week and get in just enough get in just cardio one to two days a week. A week. I track my macros to stick to 140 grams of protein daily, at least 120 ounces of water and I'm careful about not eating much added sugar. I'm down from 152 three months ago down to 139 and I feel a big drop in inflammation. I'm doing basic dosing for all above but still seems to be lacking energy. Wait a minute. I think that just repeated my bad. So did I end that correctly?

So I have a I'm gonna be very straight with you I think that you have not checked your hormones. You probably need to be hormonally optimized. I know that's coming around for ladies, but there's still a lot of ladies that don't know that they need to check the hormones. And you, you literally could just get on a little bit of testosterone and that could change all this. The lack of energy, your age, everything. You said that little pooch at the bottom, that could be testosterone, it could be estrogen, it could be all kinds of things. And hormones need to be checked. So without a doubt, I'm almost certain that's what it is. So like thyroid panel, iron, B12, vitamin D, cortisol, fasting, insulin for sure. Glucose and hormones. Check your dang hormones, girl. I bet you your hormones are off now. Will and I talk about this all the time for men because we are men, but it's coming up so much that ladies, you gotta get these hormones checked. You do not need to feel like if you're a man or a woman, you should be horny because that's a, a thing that God gave us. So if that should be a beacon, if you're not, that's hormones. And you shouldn't have such low of energy if you're healthy and you're eating right and whatnot. So the fact that you don't have the energy and I don't know what your sex drive is, but if you don't have a sex drive, I'm going to tell you that's the hormones. And I bet you the testosterone might be your answer, but the hormones will tell you the answer because it's not your, the peptides you take are not going to be working well unless you get your hormones in place. And as we age, that is a constant audible that we need to continue to find that sweet spot. I'm currently in one right now, but I'm doing a lot of research to get myself back into my, my sweet spot. And it also could be sleep. We've talked about it numerous times that it's popping up everywhere because it's obviously for a reason. If you do not sleep, your cortisol is going to be high and your cortisol will. It takes the top seat of everything. If you're not sleeping and your cortisol is high, you will not lose the weight, there's no chance in hell. And it doesn't matter how much testosterone you're on. So fix your sleep. I have a protocol that has been just life changing for me. So if you, whatever channels that you Follow us on. If you just say, hey, JD said to send this, I will literally, or my team will send you. The protocol that has changed my life. I'm. I slept like eight and a half hours last night and I was sleeping three for like a year. And like, I'm just like waking up and just film like a million bucks. The cortisol is going to keep you that you're not losing that belly fat girl. And then obviously, testament, once you got. You get that stuff in line, the testament is going to be your answer. But it's hormones, in my opinion. What you got, you think that's.

So your body just your gut not being able to absorb properly all the nutrients that you're actually putting in. Okay. And then that resulting in lower energy. So I would think of that. And there is some, some us. There's some panels that can give us some clues to that, some blood panels. And I wrote those down. So to tell you slowly sleep. Yeah. I mean your sleep needs to get better. Right. That's going to affect everything. And 100, your cortisol, your energy. So I would try to maybe add an epitalin. Who knows again with these peptides. It's crazy how like some. Once you find that sweet spot, right. There's one little. One little like maladjusted thing in each individual's body. Right. And you sometimes use the peptide that actually affects that and then bam. Yeah, everything works better. So I would, I would one just guess, Epitalin. Try that to help sync up your circadian rhythm. It might actually just make a huge difference in your sleep. Okay. And also, Tessa Marellin, not necessarily for the sleep, but just for everything for the belly fat. Right. It is. There it is. It is made to burn fat on your belly and the fat around your organs, and it will keep muscle on you, which will increase fat burning, increase fat burning, increase and increase your muscle saving and therefore boost your metabolism. So the growth hormone secretagogue, specifically TESS do for the panel. Here's what I would try and go get tested for. So a full thyroid panel, TSH free T3 free T4 reverse T3 cortisol in AM and PM, comprehensive iron panel with ferritin sex hormones, estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEAs, and an organic acids test to assess your mitochondrial function. Now where you get that one? You might need to talk to our friend Dr. Scott.

It seems to just be proven to actually work for actually increasing testosterone naturally. And yes, it's cool if your wife takes the GHKCU injected and topical at the same time. Yes, there's no problem. There's no problem at all. The topical is not really getting into your bloodstream and system the way that the injectable is. So we're not. Not worried about that.

And in three weeks you could be like, oh my gosh, I forgot how good that you can feel. Like that's testosterone. And that's just, just my opinion. Now, for whatever reason you want to hold off. Each his own, man. I respect it. I just think that it's easy fix. That's why I want to know your age. If you were 34, that would answer would probably be a little bit different. It's like, keep where you're at, man, and see what you can do. But at your age, I would say definitely go on trt. You don't say much about sleep. Is your cortisol high? What is your current lifestyle? Calorie intake? Those things are going to be huge. I don't think that you should do the IGF one until you get those hormones optimized, in my opinion. I don't know if you were going to agree with that, but you can. But again, I think if you get your hormones optimized, you're feeling great now. But what also is going to happen is these peptides are going to work way better because you're hormonally optimized. So if you feel good now, you're going to feel great. I know it's disgusting, but that is what GERD is, and it sucks. It sucks. It sucks. If I eat ice cream, I kind of burp up ice cream enough to spit it. Spit it out. It sucks to hear. I know it's gross. My wife calls it a spit cup. But it sucks. So I feel for you is my point. It literally sucks. Thymosin alpha for three weeks. The LL37, I think with 100 migs, 100 micrograms for 50 days, and then the VIP for 10 days. If we do not have that protocol up on the website, we'll put it up. That can help. So cut down or at least lower your carbs really has helped for me. If I eat, like, chips and stuff. Oh, gosh. I'm paying for it all night. It's horrible. Some of the reason I've done Carnivore, so, yeah, that's kind of what I got. I think that you're killing it in regards to some of the stuff you're taking, but I don't think this is going to heal you. You got to heal the gut and really reboot it. And I don't think you're going to get that from a GI doctor unless he's not a super western medicine GI doctor. He's gonna give you those pills forever and maybe eventually a surgery. So. So I hope that helped.

Yeah, I think Giddy's better expert on this one. But like bpc, kbv, oral BPC and regular and. And give all the KPV you can take is what will, I don't know, do its best to help this. Although this Barrett's. The Barrett's disease disorder syndrome is a bit more complex than just like, damage to the stomach lining and acid reflux.

So. But. But a BPC KPV immediately is worth a actual chance. So just I would absolutely try it, see what. It could help a lot, but maybe not completely fix the issue, but we don't really know. And then I would actually. Yeah, I work to go find a doctor and do everything else. J.D. just said.

Yeah. It sucks, man. I feel for you, dude. It sucks. It's horrible. But for whatever reason, here we are. So it's like Barrett's. Barrett's Syndrome. Right. The root cause is it lowers esophageal Sphincter dysfunction. So I guess we have a sphincter in our necks. Everybody, buddy, just know that fix lower esophageal sphincter dysfunction and your gastric motility issues, which we know that BPC has evidence actually for both of those to affect both of them. But the gastric motility for sure. Basically things moving through your GI tract.
