Pinnacle Silver & Gold Corp (TSX-V:PINN, OTCQB:PSGCF, FRA:P9J) CEO Robert Archer joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion to discuss encouraging progress at the El Potrero project in Mexico, where newly reopened historic underground workings have improved the company's understanding of mineralization and strengthened confidence in grade continuity. Archer said the underground access has bridged an 80-metre information gap, reducing the need for surface drilling while providing a clearer picture of the mineralized system. He also gave an update on the underground drilling campaign, which has now reached around 48 holes and is nearing the halfway stage. Looking ahead, Archer expects a steady flow of drill results over the coming weeks, with a surface drilling programme planned for September or October. The work will support a maiden resource estimate, preliminary mine plan and, ultimately, a production decision. Pulsiv's OSMIUM power conversion technology is going into production for the first time, under an exclusive manufacturing and wholesaling deal with Easby Group. Easby's Delta Matrix will manufacture USB modules built on OSMIUM, while sister firm Easby Electronics handles sales - targeting chargers, sockets, trains, planes and vehicles. Frontier IP Group PLC (LSE:FIPP, FRA:8WT) CEO Neil Crabb and Easby Group CEO Jason Crabtree told Proactive's Stephen Gunnion the agreement follows over two years of collaboration, with Delta Matrix chosen as exclusive partner after extensive research. Crabb said the deal answers customer demand for complete, scalable power products rather than standalone microcontroller technology. Crabtree pointed to OSMIUM's edge on efficiency, thermal performance and regulatory readiness, citing a market of over 2 billion USB-enabled sockets sold annually, with tightening USB-C and energy efficiency rules driving adoption. Crabb summed up the logic: "We deliver a technology differentiation to Delta Matrix, they deliver scalability to us." Pantheon International PLC (LSE:PIN, FRA:PAA0) lead manager Charlotte Morris tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion the company has made strong progress on its strategic priorities over the past year, becoming a more active secondary-market seller and generating £224 million in net proceeds from a targeted portfolio sale, with £180 million going to buybacks. Morris said the manager count has been cut from around 90 to 62 since November 2025, sharpening focus on top-performing managers. Net asset value rose 4.3% over the year to 31 May 2026, while the share price climbed 37.5%, narrowing the discount to NAV from 40% to 21%. On AI, Morris said PIN's software exposure sits at the lower-risk end: "The majority of PIN's software exposure is in companies that... hold proprietary data that cannot be accessed by external AI tools, or they're providing services where data accuracy is paramount." Looking ahead, Morris said private equity's long-term fundamentals remain attractive despite macro and geopolitical headwinds: "Our aim is to offer simple access to a global portfolio of high-quality private companies to investors of all types and sizes." Carnavale Resources Ltd managing director Humphrey Hale talked with Proactive about detailed metallurgical testwork from the Kookynie Gold Project in Western Australia, where gold recoveries reached as high as 99%. The Definitive Feasibility Study-level program returned gold recoveries of 98% from oxide and transitional material and 99% from fresh rock at a 106-micron grind size. Gravity gold recovery was also strong, ranging from 71% in oxide material to more than 81% in fresh rock. Hale said the results confirmed earlier metallurgical work while providing substantially more detail across the deposit’s main mineralogical domains. Carnavale intends to pursue a low-capital development model involving mining at Kookynie and processing the ore through a nearby third-party facility. Hale said the metallurgical data would support discussions around toll-treatment or ore-purchase arrangements. He added that the project’s technical work was complete, with reports being finalised ahead of the financial modelling and completion of the feasibility study. The company would then move towards permitting, project financing and development planning. Visit Proactive’s YouTube channel for more company interviews and market updates. Lightning Minerals Ltd managing director Troy Brice talked with Proactive about the company’s exploration progress during the June quarter following a strategic reset focused on gold and critical minerals. Brice said Lightning Minerals had completed four field programs across its Australian portfolio, supported by technical work including petrology, geochemistry and geophysics. He said the company’s field and technical teams had worked productively to strengthen the geological models for both the Mt Turner Gold Project and the Warby Tungsten Project in northern Queensland. At Mt Turner, Lightning Minerals is preparing to begin Phase 2 drilling targeting gold and copper mineralisation. The company also continued exploration at Warby, where it is assessing a tungsten opportunity near Mount Surprise. Brice highlighted the logistical benefits of operating both projects from Georgetown, allowing Lightning Minerals to undertake concurrent exploration programs across two commodities. Lightning Minerals also completed a strongly supported A$1.85 million capital raising and progressed the planned divestment of its Canadian and Brazilian lithium assets. During the September quarter, the company expects to advance geophysical work at Warby, progress drilling at Mt Turner and receive assay results from its exploration programs. Steffen Szumowski Nuclear Analyst with Vettafi joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the evolving nuclear energy sector, saying today's industry is "hard to recognize" compared with past decades as restarts, plant life extensions, and new reactor construction replace years of shutdowns. Szumowski said the current nuclear revival began before the recent surge in artificial intelligence, describing AI as "gasoline on top of a fire" rather than the original catalyst. He believes the shift was driven primarily by global climate policies following the Paris Agreement, with growing recognition that renewable energy alone cannot provide the reliable, low-carbon baseload electricity needed to meet future demand. The discussion also focused on energy security, with Szumowski pointing to geopolitical events, including the Russia-Ukraine war and tensions involving Iran, as reinforcing the importance of domestic energy independence. He cited France's large nuclear fleet as an example of how nuclear generation has helped reduce exposure to volatile fossil fuel prices. On reactor development, Szumowski highlighted the rapid pace of new construction in China, ongoing projects in the UK and Russia, and continued progress on advanced reactor technologies in the United States. While no new large-scale reactors have yet broken ground in the U.S., he said companies such as Cameco have suggested additional announcements could emerge through U.S. Department of Energy and Department of Commerce initiatives. Looking ahead, Szumowski believes investors have not missed the opportunity, describing the nuclear renaissance as "still just getting started" with additional announcements expected across both large-scale nuclear plants and small modular reactor projects. Novo Resources Corp executive chairman Mike Spreadborough talked with Proactive about the company’s planned 2,700-metre reverse circulation drilling program at the Tibooburra Gold Project in New South Wales. Spreadborough was joined by general manager of exploration Rohan Williams to outline the objectives of the campaign, which is expected to begin late in the September quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory and landholder approvals. The program is planned to include approximately 1,700 metres of drilling at the Clone prospect and 1,000 metres at Pioneer South. At Clone, Novo Resources Corp aims to extend high-grade gold mineralisation identified during its previous drilling campaign. Earlier results cited in the interview included 12 metres at 5.9 grams per tonne gold, 17 metres at 2.4 grams per tonne and four metres at 13.7 grams per tonne. Williams said the mineralised system appeared to plunge shallowly to the north beneath a creek. He explained that the company’s objective was to follow the structure and “replicate these high-grade intercepts that we received last year and track it down plunge.” The campaign represents the second stage of Novo Resources Corp’s farm-in and joint venture arrangement with Manhattan Gold Corporation Ltd and its subsidiary, Awati Resources Pty Ltd. Completion of the program is expected to allow Novo Resources Corp to earn a 70% interest in the project and become manager of the joint venture. The company also plans further soil sampling across the wider 22-kilometre system to improve its understanding of the source and scale of the gold mineralisation.
