Lightning Minerals managing director Troy Brice talked with Proactive about the completion of phase-two exploration at the company’s wholly owned Warby Tungsten Project in North Queensland. The recently completed field program collected around 90 samples from priority targets as Lightning Minerals works toward identifying potential sites for an initial drilling campaign. Brice said the program had been completed ahead of schedule and under budget, with the latest geological mapping and sampling continuing to strengthen the company’s understanding of the project. Assay results are expected around mid-August. Lightning Minerals will use those results to refine its geological model and determine where clusters of higher-grade tungsten mineralisation may be present. The company is also considering geophysical work to improve the accuracy of future drill targeting and ensure exploration capital is deployed carefully. Brice also discussed Warby’s location near the operating Mount Carbine tungsten mine and the strategic importance of establishing secure Australian supplies of tungsten. Depending on the results of the current program, initial drilling could take place late in the year or early the following year. Axel REE Ltd (ASX:AXL) managing director Dr Patience Mpofu joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion to discuss the company's Caladão rare earth project in Brazil and explain why its ionic clay deposit, suitable for in-situ recovery, could offer significant economic and environmental advantages over conventional mining. Mpofu outlined how the low-impact extraction process could reduce both capital and operating costs while shortening the path from exploration to production. She also explained why the absence of open-pit mining and tailings dams could make the project particularly attractive as demand for responsibly sourced critical minerals grows. The interview also covered encouraging metallurgical test results, with column leach tests recovering up to 560ppm total rare earth oxides, and the next steps as the company moves into field trials, advances drilling and works towards an indicated resource and a future scoping study. Mpofu also highlighted the project's exposure to high-value magnet rare earths, including terbium and dysprosium, as well as the presence of gallium, a strategically important semiconductor metal that is rarely found in ionic clay deposits. Caledonia Mining Corporation PLC (AIM:CMCL, NYSE-A:CMCL, VFEX:CMCL) CEO Mark Learmonth spoke to Proactive's Stephen Gunnion after the company announced what it believes is the discovery of a new ore body at its flagship Blanket Mine in Zimbabwe. Learmonth explained that drilling, initially aimed at identifying shallow oxide material suitable for low-cost heap leach processing, has instead revealed what appears to be a larger sulfide ore body extending at depth. He discussed why near-surface oxide mining could be highly economic despite contributing fewer ounces than Blanket's annual production, highlighting the lower mining costs compared with extracting ore from around 4,000 feet underground. Learmonth also outlined the next steps, including encouraging early metallurgical test work, plans for a 10,000-tonne trial heap leach later this year and the wider exploration potential across the Blanket Mine, which he believes remains far from fully explored despite more than a century of mining. The cautionary note concerning forward-looking information in the announcement applies to the content of this video. Please see the report here. Aftermath Silver CEO Ralph Rushton joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the start of new drilling campaigns at the company's Berenguela project in Peru and the Challacollo silver-gold project in northern Chile, aimed at expanding resources and testing new high-priority targets. At Berenguela, drilling has begun on the eastern edge of the current mineral resource estimate to follow up on previously identified high-grade copper mineralization. The initial program includes up to 1,000 metres of core drilling along two section lines near hole AFD139, which previously returned 69 metres grading 1.19% copper and 78 g/t silver. Rushton also highlighted hole AFD100, which delivered the longest copper intercept drilled at Berenguela to date, returning 156 metres grading 1.12% copper, 290 g/t silver, and 7.3% manganese from surface. The company said the current program could be expanded depending on drilling results. At the Challacollo Ag-Au Project in Chile, Aftermath has commenced an 800-metre, five-hole diamond drilling program targeting the extension of known mineralized veins below the current drilling depth. Management believes gold and base metal grades may improve at depth, while the down-dip extent of the mineralized structures remains largely untested. The Challacollo program will also evaluate previously undrilled veins, investigate new exploration targets across the property, and twin selected historic reverse circulation holes to obtain additional geological and metallurgical information. Management believes the dual drilling programs position Aftermath Silver to expand mineral resources and unlock additional value at two of its key silver-focused development projects. #proactiveinvestors #aftermathsilverltd #tsxv #aag #otcqx #aagff #mining #BerenguelaProject #SilverMining #CopperMining #Silver #Copper #Gold #Mining #MineralExploration #PeruMining #ChileMining #ResourceDevelopment #MiningNews #challacollo

Sintana Energy Inc (TSX-V:SEI, OTCQB:SEUSF, FRA:3ZX1, AIM:SEI) president Eytan Uliel joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion to discuss two significant developments across the company's Latin American portfolio. On Uruguay, Uliel said the exploration timetable for its AREA OFF-1 block has been extended by a year, after Chevron split its 3D seismic programme into two seasons after the government required a fishing-season break between April and October. The first season is complete and being processed, the second kicks off at year-end, with a well decision still expected around September 2027 and drilling targeted for 2028. On Argentina, Uliel revealed that Sintana has spent more than 18 months pursuing a private initiative to secure a licence over the CAN-200 offshore block. A government decree has now opened the block to international tender. Because Sintana initiated the process, it holds a preferred position, giving it the right to match any competing bid. He also flagged strong farm-out momentum at AREA OFF-3, Sintana's 100%-held second Uruguay block, with QatarEnergy and Chevron active on adjacent acreage and a farm-out expected to close by year-end. With Namibia and Angola also in the mix, Uliel described an active six to twelve months ahead. For more interviews and market insights, visit the Proactive YouTube channel. Resolution Minerals Ltd CEO of US Operations Craig Lindsay talked with Proactive about the company securing US Federal FAST-41 Transparency coverage for its Golden Gate tungsten-gold target in Idaho. The designation is Resolution Minerals’ second FAST-41 status for the Horse Heaven critical minerals project, following the inclusion of Antimony Ridge in the program in April 2026. Both of the project’s primary development targets have therefore been prioritised for a more coordinated federal permitting process. Lindsay explained that FAST-41 is intended to reduce permitting uncertainty by establishing agreed timelines, improving coordination between government agencies and publicly tracking progress. He said the permitting process had historically been one of the main obstacles facing critical minerals projects in the United States. Resolution Minerals has also completed 22 holes as part of a fully funded 13,700-metre drilling program. The company plans to complete more than 40 holes and is targeting a maiden resource estimate for Golden Gate. Future drilling is expected to test the approximately 1.5-kilometre gap between Golden Gate North and Golden Gate South. Resolution Minerals believes the two areas may be geologically connected along a north-south fault. Lindsay also discussed the company’s work on antimony and tungsten processing flowsheets and its longer-term ambition to develop a regional hub-and-spoke processing model capable of handling material from Horse Heaven and third-party mines. Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund (LSE: SEQI) makes loans to infrastructure companies and projects in developed markets, generating what SIMCo head of portfolio management Steve Cook describes as a strong, steady income with a stable net asset value. Cook explained to Proactive’s Stephen Gunnion that because SEQI lends rather than owns, it avoids the full risks of equity investing, while infrastructure as an asset class has historically shown low correlation to broader markets and tends to outperform during periods of turbulence such as recessions or geopolitical shocks. Cook highlighted Moody's data showing that credit losses in infrastructure are less than half those seen in comparable corporate lending over a long period of time. He contrasted this with general corporate credit markets - including high yield bonds and leveraged loans - where spreads are currently in the tenth percentile of all-time expensive levels, and some markets are in the first percentile, meaning they are more expensive than 99% of historical observations. On the supply-demand dynamic, Cook argued that governments can no longer afford to fund the capital required for digitalisation, decarbonisation, data centres and demographic change, pushing more infrastructure financing into private markets where demand for capital significantly exceeds supply. As a result, SEQI is able to reject over 90% of potential investment opportunities and deploy capital selectively into what it considers the most attractive deals. With the fund currently trading at a discount to net asset value and offering a dividend yield of more than 8%, Cook pointed to a trend of narrowing discounts across the sector, driven by additional capital entering the asset class and a diminishing number of income-generating funds as some alternatives go private or unwind. He says the current interest rate environment continues to support the fund's high dividend yield. For more interviews and market insights, visit the Proactive YouTube channel. Lumos Diagnostics CEO Doug Ward joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the expanding commercial rollout of the company's FebriDx rapid diagnostic test, with deployment now underway at more than 30 U.S. urgent care sites and three additional major healthcare groups advancing through clinical and economic validation. Together, the four priority healthcare accounts represent more than 430 potential locations and an estimated 2.6 million acute respiratory infection patient visits annually, supporting Lumos' strategy of targeting the 100 largest U.S. urgent care groups, which account for roughly 40% of all urgent care sites nationwide. One of the company's latest customers, a leading regional urgent care provider owned by a major U.S. health system, has agreed to deploy FebriDx across its network of more than 30 clinics. Lumos estimates the network treats approximately 200,000 acute respiratory infection cases each year, where FebriDx is expected to improve respiratory triage, support antibiotic stewardship, and standardize clinical workflows. Lumos has also introduced a four-stage commercial framework that moves customers from initial qualification and clinical validation through network rollout and ultimately into routine clinical adoption. The model builds on the company's success with WellStreet Urgent Care, where an initial pilot expanded to 44 locations and created a pathway for potential deployment across a network of more than 165 sites. All U.S. sales of FebriDx are conducted through Lumos' exclusive distribution partnership with Phase Scientific, with Lumos recognizing revenue when products are shipped to the distributor. #proactiveinvestors #lumosdiagnosticsholdings #asx #ldx #otc #ldxhf #FebriDx #PointOfCare #HealthcareInnovation #UrgentCare #MedTech #RespiratoryCare #AntibioticStewardship #HealthcareInnovation #MedicalTechnology
