The last couple years I have really gotten into fashion and I know y'all are here for the wellness stuff, so I'm just going to get this out of the way right now. I think that it's absolutely imperative to have an air filter and have a water filter. I talk about this all the time on this podcast, all the time on my Instagram. We are living in chemical soup and we can decide to let that scare us. I just personally do a lot of different things, and there's a couple things that I'm talking about in this episode today that I do to defend myself from environmental toxins that are in our water, that are in our food. And this is not fear mongering. This is just the truth of what's happening right now. And so we got to do certain things to protect our health and our bodies. And what I do is I have a bunch of air filters in my home. My favorite air filter, which is a newer air filter that I just got my hands on, is from a brand called Jasper. You can go back and listen to the episode with the founder. I had the founder on my podcast a couple of episodes ago. And the Jasper is Not only stunning, stunning looking, but it's industrial grade and it has metal casing around it instead of plastic, which I really love. And this is just a really high quality air filter. I encourage you to go back and listen to the episode with the founder. He talks about why he started his company. Before that he was working as a remediator I think is the word where he would go into damaged water, damaged homes, get all the mold out, get all of the, the damage and the toxicity in the air. And he saw what really worked and he created an air filter based off of that. So this is like an industrial grade air fil. Now it is a little bit more expensive. In my opinion. It's worth it because as he talks about in the episode, this is something that you can keep for life. So once you buy this, if there's any updates that happen, like it has a lifetime warranty on it, if there's any updates that happen to the screen, he'll send you the new screen cause it's really easily replaceable. If you have any issues with it, he says that he will replace the metal casing for you. It's pretty incredible. And all you have to do is replace the actual air filter every six months. So I'm a huge fan. They also look pretty stunning. I have one in my living room. I also have one in my bedroom. I've been talking about Air Doctor for years and yes, I still have them. Every time I mention the Jasper everybody asks me, well, do you still love the Air Doctor and do you still use it? So you know my opinion with the Jasper I have, I've since found the Jasper. I think it. Well, it wasn't even out years ago when I was buying my Air Doctors. And so, you know, sometimes you want to upgrade and you find something better that you like better. But I still think the Air Doctor is a great option. So if that's more in your budget or you want to buy a bunch of them and you'd rather spend the money on the Air Doctor. Again, I personally love the aesthetic of the Jasper and I love that it has the lifetime warranty. And so it's one of those things where he explained that you buy it for your nursery and then you send your kid off to college with it in 20 years, which I thought was really cool concept. Water filters are so incredibly important, especially because they're still putting fluoride in our water, even though hopefully that is changing within the new year since all of the research that has been coming out recently about fluoride and how it reduces IQs in children. So fluoride's a really big one that we want to be filtering out. But also PFAs, which are forever chemicals, they're ending up in our water. And a third party testing was done on Aqua True and they found that the Aqua True does filter out the PFAS's. It also filters out pharmaceutical drugs that end up in our water, like SSRIs, birth control, like all of those pharmaceutical drugs are ending up in our water. Pesticides, heavy metals, chlorine, all of it. It all gets filtered out with the Aqua True. And then yes, with reverse osmosis it does remove all the minerals. So I add minerals back in. Now my concern is that it's sitting in plastic all day in the plastic container, but you do you and whatever feels and looks best for you. So clearly filtered is another option. They also have a stainless steel water bottle that has a water filter attached to it. So if you travel and you want a water filter in your water bottle, that's a great option. All right, let's talk skin care for all my skincare lovers out there. So I have two brands specifically that I use religiously, and I'll kind of talk you through what I use and when I use them. Clear Stem. I love Clear Stem. Clear Stem is one of those brands where I absolutely love every single product of theirs. And I'm not not just saying that. I really, truly mean it. If you were to walk into my bathroom right now, you would see that I have literally every single one of their products, and I use them all daily. So I use their gel cleanser every night to get my makeup off. That's the only thing I use to get my makeup off. I love it so much because it thoroughly cleans your face and it actually gets all of your makeup off, but it doesn't leave your skin feeling stripped. Sometimes I'll go and, like, wash my face early, put that on, go cook dinner, and then later put the rest of my serums on so you don't have to do it, like, just exactly 10 minutes afterwards. But if you're in A hurry and you're like, waiting just 10 minutes. Then you can put your skincare routine on after that. Then I either do the Bounce Back serum, which is their wrinkle serum, and they also call it their no Botox, or I'll use Cell Renew, depending on the night. I kind of bounce back and forth. I don't use all three of them every night. The cell renew is great for deep hydration. It's also great if you're dealing with any sort of, like, acne scarring. And then the Bounce Back is obviously great for wrinkle reduction. I almost forgot. Before I put the Hydro Berry on, I put their new oil on. I'm obsessed with this oil, y'all. But sometimes I'll just put the mask on, honestly. Oh, and I also forgot about the skin spray. So I'll put the skin spray on after the serums, then I'll put the Golden Hour on, and then I put on my moisturizers after that. I love the skin spray. I travel with it everywhere. I literally really have it in, like, purses. I have it in my travel bag. I obviously have it in my. Under my sink to put it on every night. And I'm constantly spraying that on just to give my. My skin moisture. And then I also love their Under Eye gel. That's one of my favorite products. I do not like under eye serums. I think they're too heavy and I just don't feel like they work as well on me. But their gel is incredible. Oh, I also forgot to tell y'all, the Clarity Serum. I used to have blackheads on my nose that I could never get rid of no matter what. I. That Clarity Serum dissolved my blackheads. And I'm like, it's actually crazy. And with Agent and tour products, I literally only buy them like twice, maybe three times a year. And I always stock up around this time. I also ask my mom for some stuff for Christmas, but I always stock up because she doesn't do a lot of sales. But she does do sales around the holidays, and that's when I stock up on everything. And then I just like, have it in like a back stock in my bathroom so that I can just have it all year. Another one of my favorite products of Agent Nator is the Holly Bright. It's the Resurface Glass face mask. I actually have it on right now. I try to do it a couple times a week. This is also another one that's considered like a no Botox kind of product. And it really does. It like tightens my skin. I see a significant difference whenever I use it. It the Holy Glow Eye and Lip Serum. This actually used to be my favorite eye gel. And I traded out for clear stem because something weird started happening. I don't know if she changed the product, but was making my eyes really itchy at night, like unbearably itchy. So hopefully that doesn't happen to you. This was my favorite product Legit, my favorite product ever for under eyes. I used it for years and I had to stop because I don't know what happened. It started itching my under eyes. But everybody's different, so you may have a totally different experience. I also love the ageless lifting and confirming serum. I like to put that on in the morning as well. I love her tinted skin drops. I use the color almond. Love, love, love, love. It is like the perfect. It gives you just dewy, moisturized looking skin and it's the perfect amount of color. It's also spf, so I like to put it on in the morning and it just makes your skin look perfect. I also love the body duo. So I will tell you, the body wash is really expensive. It is a guilty pleasure of mine. I don't buy it all the time because it's really expensive. It is the most luxurious, sexy smelling body wash I've ever smelled in my life. Every time I use it, Hector's like, ooh, ooh. I love the smell of that. Same with the body lotion. It is so luxurious. It's my favorite body lotion. It's a little bit more expensive, but it looks gorgeous on your bathroom counter. Something that I love. And it just feels so soothing on your skin and it smells really amazing. I've pretty much tried every single product on this website and I pretty much love everything. Lactic acid brightening cleanser is great. You can also use that as a mask. Love the deodorant. That was the first product she ever came out with and it's what I use. I circle around through different deodorants. I'm not using the agent natural one right now, but I'll go back to it after my next one. And it's one of my favorite deodorants ever. Okay, let's go to Jack Henry, which is skin care for your guys. Hector loves Jack Henry, so I got him their deodorant because we were on the hunt for a good non toxic deodorant. He was using Old Spice before and I was horrified and so I was like, we have to find you a healthier deodorant. Tried a bunch of different ones. This is the one that he landed on that he loves and I love it because it smells so sexy. It is so good, y'all. It is perfect. So get your man Jack Henry deodorant and thank me later because you're gonna love the way he smells. There's also colognes that they make and when he wears the deodorant in the cologne, I am like, I can't keep my freaking hands off of him. He smells so good. The cologne that I really like is Balance. He also has Frequency, which I like that one too, but I think Balance smells even better. And he also really loves the body wash. So he actually recently was like, can you get me more of the body wash and that deodorant? Because. Because we love the smell of those and I love the way he smells when he uses them. And then he loves hair clay and so he really likes the hair clay from there too. But I would check out the whole website. As the crisp fall air rolls in and the leaves start to change, I've been focusing on keeping my energy high and supporting healthy aging so I can enjoy every season to the fullest.
