In this week’s episode of Melanin Well, I dove another layer deep into my own health and wellness testimony. I always thought my health struggles started with a blood clot in college, but revisiting my past revealed a different truth. The root cause lies way back in my childhood. It wasn't easy, but I opened up about the trauma I experienced… the neglect… the emotional abuse. It’s something that definitely shaped me, especially my relationship with food, weight, and even God, but didn’t break me by the grace of God.
