Christians understand that the world is more than what meets the eye, that there is a spiritual reality beyond the physical. But what does that actually mean? Joe, it's good to be back with you folks here at Skywatch. The thing that Tom Horn and God enabled him to build. All you folks here, and it's good to be back.

I couldn't agree more. Micah, it's been about a year since the last time you were here at Skywatch tv. And I got to tell you, how many of you remember the programs Micah did on the Unseen Realm? I gotta tell you, we had so many calls, people loved that series. And so that's why I start off today saying we're going vintage Skywatch, because a lot of what you cover in your brand new book you would have heard discussed BY People like Dr. Michael Heiser, Derek and Sharon Gilbert, Tom Horn. But you've brought some brand new things to the conversation that I think our audience is going to be absolutely blown away. Again, let's bring it up on the screen. Angels, eternal war of the princes. And we're gonna be talking about who those princes are and how they affect maybe what's happening all around the planet right now in 2026. And in a few minutes, we're gonna be talking about some companion DVDs, full production that are gonna go in. But Micah, in your book Angels War of the Princes, you describe Earth as God's grand free will experiment. What do you mean by that?

In simple terms, as I studied about the angelic realm, Derek's books, other folks books, and wrote about them, it was obvious to me that not only do we humans have free will, but the angels also have free will. And when I say God's grand free will experiment. I'm not being disrespectful to God. He is not discovering these outcomes. We humans and even the angels are, because even Satan himself was fishing for information on top of the temple with Jesus. So it's God's grand free will experiment in the fact that he placed the tree of the knowledge of good and evil right in front of Adam and Eve's face. That is the prime example that he is giving us the choice, the choice of salvation, the choice of folks to accept Jesus Christ. And so that's what I mean. And it's kind of the preface of the book because it makes a fascinating story when it comes to not only the dominion of Earth, how we humans interact with it, but also how the angels.

Do you know what the interesting thing about free will is? It is not free will until it's tested. You have to be given an opportunity to choose. And so the Garden of Eden, but was there a choice prior to that?

And those are fascinating things to think about. Of course, before the Garden of Eden, in scripture we have the chaos of creation before getting into the mythologies, the chaos monsters that were subdued in order to create the earth. Genesis 1 is void of this chaos monster, but Psalm 74 is not. We have Leviathan and the heads of Leviathan in the waters. So yes, there is something going on before, but it's not a physical realm until God creates it during the six days of creation.

Let me ask this because this is a question that comes up a lot. People who are distressed at this state of the world today, or maybe they've experienced a personal tragedy. Why did God just not stop Satan in his tracks? Why did God allow Satan to test Adam and Eve?

Again, it comes back to the idea that not only do we humans have free will, but the angels do as well. And that is a profound question of why did God allow the serpent? Whether that was Satan or not. Why did God allow the serpent into the garden? Well, it's not the only time it happens because at the end of the thousand year reign, God lets Satan loose for a time. So we're going to see it again. And so I don't know the direct answer to the question of why God does this, but it seems to have something to do with the free will that God gives us. Why do bad things happen to good people, to children?

Right.

God has handed this to us to make decisions whether to follow him or not. And I think that all goes together to kind of possibly answer that question.

When you first approach these kinds of topics like fallen angels and their role in biblical narrative, you kind of hear this divine counsel term dropped super early. And a lot of people that are familiar with Skywatch TV have heard that on and on and on. But in case there's new people out there, new people in our audience, I really want to make sure, before we get too far into this, that you can define, as you did in the first chapter, the term divine council worldview. What does that mean for those that are new to this?

The divine council is partially how God operates. It is a courtroom like scene where God is sitting on his throne and there are Elohim. Elohim is a spiritual being, angels.

And he asks them, how do you handle this situation? How do you handle that situation? And some angels propose this action. And God says, how do you do it? In fact, this is in scripture. There are a number of examples. The primary example to directly answer the question is First Kings, chapter 19, verses 20 through 22. And it says, I saw God sitting on his throne and the host of heaven was gathered about him. And they're trying to figure out, not God, but the angels are talking about, that's a better way to say it, how to handle the human King Ahab. And so a spirit says, let's do this. Another spirit says, let's do that. And a spirit steps before the Lord in First Kings 19, and he says, this is what we should do. And God looks at the angel and he says, okay, how are you going to do it? And he says, on this man or that? And God says, go. Being a lying spirit in the ears of his prophets. And that is the prime example of the divine council in action. Now, a lot of folks are sensitive to the idea of a divine council because God doesn't need a divine counsel. And that's true. But just because God doesn't need something is no evidence against its existence. God doesn't need the church, but that's how he has chosen to operate. God didn't need to create humans, but is how he has chosen to operate. So God has chosen to operate in his spiritual realm with a council of angels. And that's not the only example in Scripture. We'll get into more Psalm 82, Job, chapter 2, where Satan is walking among them. Fascinating topic.

And you gave a really good answer. And I just want to make one minor correction in case people want to check their bibles. It's actually 1 Kings 22:19 beginning at verse 19 where Micaiah, the prophet who gets slapped but he's the one who says that. Okay, here's what God's telling me, Ahab, you're going to die. And he tells them how the lying spirit goes into the mouths of all of Ahab's prophets. But yes, that is the main example of this in action. So people not familiar with the. I mean, we also see it in Job, chapters one and two, where Satan goes from wandering to and fro in the earth and comes up there with the other sons of God. So where you been? But you're right, God did not need them. The divine counsel. And this is an objection that I'm sure you've heard as well. God doesn't need a counsel. Of course not. As if God didn't know what Satan was going to do. As if God didn't know what Ahab was going to do. He didn't need his court, but for his own pleasure created them. Just as he doesn't need us to be sitting here having this conversation. And yet here we are.

And Zechariah chapter one, you talked about Job, chapter two, where Satan has been walking to and fro in the earth. We see this in Scripture as well in Zechariah chapter 1, starting in verse 8, it is the watchers not named by name, but they are angels reporting to the angel of the Lord. And they walk to and fro through the earth and report to the angel of the Lord who's standing in the myrtle trees with the red horses. And so it's a very similar scene to Job, chapter two.

Micah, I want to ask you a question. So the subtitle of your new book, and we can bring this up on the screen so people can see how absolutely incredible and beautiful these artistic depictions are. But the subtitle of Angels Eternal is War of the Princes. And I can't help but notice that that's also the title of one of your DVDs here. Who are these princes that you're referring to? In plain English for people to understand. But also tell us a little bit about what's on these DVDs. And if people haven't seen your DVDs, they haven't seen this type of production before because you do a lot of your own animations, you really bring to life, you know, these characters that we hear described. Nephilim, fallen angels. But the way that you graphically depict them, it's absolutely incredible. Who are these princes? Tell us a little bit about these DVDs.

Well, thank you, Joe. And the Lord has given me a passion for this style of artwork. And to be able to depict these things. And it's part of what I have a ton of fun doing. So the princes of the nations, these are the angels who God judged the nations with in Deuteronomy 32:8. So this is right after the Tower of babel. And Deuteronomy 32:9 is, as we talked about before, where God chooses Israel. Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. That's Deuteronomy 32:9. You back up one verse, Deuteronomy 32:8. He separates the nations, divides the nations according to the number of the children of Israel. That's the Masoretic, according to the Dead Sea Scrolls. He divides them to the Bneha Elohim, which are the same angels in Genesis chapter six, the sons of God that we read about in Job 38 at the foundations of the earth and elsewhere, the Greek Septuagint, God gives the nations to the Angelosteos, the angels of God. And, and so this is a point in history where God puts his third judgment on mankind. And I do believe that he put evil angels in charge of the other 69 to 71 nations, depending on if you're reading Luke, Genesis, Septuagint or masoretic, but basically 70 nations. So God puts angels in charge of those nations, and they rule those nations. I speculate this is not scripture. I speculate they ruled them physically for a time until they died. And then According to Ephesians 2, they become the princes of the powers of the air. They are spiritual after their physical bodies die. So we're going to get into a lot more. There's a lot more details and scriptural evidence. But the quicker answer is these are angels, the gods of old. When we say gods, we're talking about lowercase G. Just as God uses in scripture, he calls them gods. Psalm 82. So these are the fallen angels in charge of the 70, 69, 71 nations, right after the Tower of Babel in

the ancient Near East. That number 70 was symbolic. It was not a mathematical number. It meant all of them. In other words, every single nation, however many they are 100, 200, 500, whatever. Everyone but Israel.

We see the same idea in the Book of Daniel where Daniel is told, okay, Prince of Persia, he's in charge for now. Prince of Greece is coming. That's not necessarily the king, the human king. These are spirit beings that, that are leading the human beings. We don't like thinking about this, but the United States probably has one in charge of us, too.

And there's an image of her standing in the harbor of New York.

This is correct. And with the symbolism of the United States. As Derek mentioned, the number 70. If you'll look up at the rotunda ceiling in the United States Capitol, you'll see the apotheosis of Washington. It's a painting of George Washington ascending into godhood with the Roman gods. And how many stars do you have? Around 72. The apotheosis 72. So the number 70, 72 depend on the Masoretician symbolically. On the back of the dollar Bill, you have 72 bricks in the unfinished pyramid on the back of the dollar bill. So we get into the Secret Societies, which is a previous book, not this one, but that number 70, the gods of old. In fact, when it comes to the founding of the United States, it was Sir Francis Bacon who wanted the United States, the new America, the continent, to be a place to bring back Atlantis, a place to bring back the old gods. And a similar thing with that. When we talk about God dividing the nations in Deuteronomy 32, 8, it was also in the story of Atlantis, the first thing, like the third paragraph, that Plato records. There was a time when the gods divided the world among themselves. So not only do we see this in scripture, Daniel chapter 10, as you talked about Sharon, Deuteronomy 32, Psalm, chapter 82. We see this in the mythologies, the ancient histories of the times when the gods divided the world among themselves. And again, it's chapter two in the book the Prince of the Nations.

I think that when I was a kid, I'm a geek. I love stuff like this. If I had known these things when I was five years old, I'd been all over it right back then. I know that you have a heart for children too. Are these books something that parents and grandparents should be thinking about to help their kids and grandkids to really be hungry for the Bible?

Great question.

Yes. And that's one of the things, when I studied the angelology, it's a very neglected area of spiritual study. And if we as Christians, not going to fault pastors. Pastors have a flock that are all physical. There can be gossip among a flock. So I'm not going to fault pastors if they don't want to talk about angels. But I say that if you don't talk about this deep stuff, it produces a Christianity that is immature as a strong word, but not very mature. And by studying the divine council, the princes of the nations, it glorifies Jesus Christ and shows that he is more Powerful than all these entities.

Specifically on the children's front. Yes. I do have three children's books for younger kids about dinosaurs and creation. But specifically on this. Yes. At some point, Christians need to understand the angelic realm.

Yeah, I'm with you. If I heard this stuff when I was like 10, 11, 12 in church, man, church would have been so much cooler.

I'm just saying I appreciate that Sharon brought that up. The artistic style is extremely appealing and would be very easy to hand to a teenager. Although the material is also sophisticated enough for an adult to learn a great. That's why I say it's vintage Sky Watch, as hard as that is to imagine. It's got a lot of new material. Getting back to the spirit realm, Micah, these princes that you describe both in the book and of course in your DVDs that we're going to talk about here in just a minute, do you feel that these entities, if I can use that word, are still influencing nations today?

Yes, sir. And so in Deuteronomy 32. Nine, we see that God puts them over nations. And as I speculate, scripture doesn't specifically say this, but I speculate that they are physical for a time, but their bodies die. There is a dark period in scripture where scripture doesn't give us any information. From the time of Babel to the time of Abraham, depending On your translation, 800 years, 600 years, somewhere in there. This is the time of the angelic rulers of the nations. The only thing scripture says is in the Peleg's days, the world was divided. That's it for those 800 years. And so this is a time we don't have a lot of information about. But after these entities die, no longer are they the physical kings sitting on thrones, siring more Nephilim after the flood, again, another speculation on my part. But they become the spiritual princes of the nations and they follow their bloodlines wherever they go. Let's look at what's going on. Who was the God of the Philistines? Dagon. And where were the Philistines located? In what is modern day Gaza. Gaza. And so we are still seeing Dagon's evil influence as a principality of the power of the air influencing the people of Gaza. And so I do believe, as Sharon alluded to earlier, might have mentioned, that every nation on earth has an entity over it. Israel has Yahweh, where Archangel Michael is the chief prince. According to Daniel, chapter 12. You get not just the Middle east, where all this is mostly recorded, you get Quetzalcoatl in Mexico, all kinds of different gods around the world that come down, bring divine fire. In the case of Prometheus and Quetzalcoatl, different things going on. So, yeah, absolutely. All over the world, these gods are still influencing.

That raises an interesting question. With the massive migrations that have taken place over the last 15 years, from the Middle east to Europe, to Australia, through Central America into the United States, are they bringing these princes with them?

B
Yeah, and the immigration into Europe as well. But are they bringing the princes with them? That's a valid question. You know, I mean, there's millions of people. Do these. Does Dagon have the ability to follow a million people at once? Yahweh does, but does Dagon? So I don't know the direct answer to that question, but it's a valid question.

I wonder if that isn't part of the Fallen Realms plan. Let's mix everything up with illegal immigration, and it's our doorway into that nation.

It's quite possible.

Bring this up on the screen. It's one of Micah's DVDs that's going to go in this set we're going to tell you about in just a Second realm of the dead. And I'm just going to read an excerpt as he's talking. I'm sitting here reading this. I just want to share this with you along the way. This is directly from the back of this DVD documentary. This DVD uncovers the possible origins of demons, the fate of the giants of Genesis, and the terrifying prophecy of the ancient enemy who will one day rise from the abyss. But this is more than a study of dark mysteries. At its heart, it is the story of Jesus Christ, the one who descended into the realm of the dead, proclaimed victory, and holds the keys of death and hell. Now, hang on, hang on. That is something Christians are confused about, Micah. The whole conversation of hell. You're seeing all these theologies now that want to entertain all kinds of Looney Tune possibilities for what it is. What constitutes somebody ending up there? Is there a chance for maybe a second condition where someone could be nearly there, but maybe Grandmother intercedes for them and then they evade that reality and now they ascend to heaven. Crazy, crazy, crazy. Almost repackaging of parts of Catholicism being blended and married into Christianity. It's totally Looney Tune. But based on your research, what is your view of hell? What is it?

So Hell is confusing for a lot of Christians because the English language does not do us justice. The Masoretic combines three different locations of the underworld into one word.

You won't find that word hell in the original Greek or the original Hebrew because there are three terms for the underworld. A few more, but three locations. Sheol in the Old Testament and Hades in the New Testament. The Greek, it is the realm of the dead, where humans go after death. The pre Christ righteous went there after death. Christ changed that. And then not only humans, but also demons, Nephilim, which we might get into next week, but demons and Nephilim and Sheol as well. The other location, the second location in the underworld is Tartarus. Anytime in scripture you read the abyss or the bottomless pit, this is Tartarus. And Tartarus is not for humans. Tartarus is for the fallen angels, the watchers of Genesis 6. And you know, I have to give a lot of credit to Derek because his study from the second coming of Saturn is my basis for what I understood about Revelation 9, Apollyon coming out of the pit with his locusts. And we're going to get into that too. But Tartarus is the second location of the underworld. The third location would be Gehenna, which is the lake of fire. And I think this is what most Christians think about when they hear hell and heard hell all their lives and haven't really studied deeply or read Derek's book. Gehenna is the lake of fire. It's the final punishment for all of God's creations, whether that's Earth, other creations that he probably has out there in this cosmos. But the angels and humans will be cast, unrepentant ones will be cast into the lake of fire. Gehenna is a valley outside of Jerusalem, and Jesus refers to it, and he's talking about the lake of Fire, a place of outer darkness, separation from God. So there are three distinct locations in the underworld. And the English language with the word hell just kind of throws that all into one word. So that is the simpler answer.

It's not just hell. I mean, and we tend to do that with a lot of things. I mean, you talk about angels, then there's seraphim and cherubim and a lot of Christian. Even the topmost Christian teachers a lot of times will just kind of say, well, there's angels and they don't see that there's all these different categories. So there are different words. And I want to ask a question because Christians understanding a lot of this today, when the Bible talks about spiritual beings over the nations, with all of the different, you know, language confusion that we want to do, how should modern

Christians understand that there are the principalities. The principalities and powers of the air. Ephesians 2 and 6, I believe. Talk about that in the New Testament. They are who we war against. They were the princes that crucified our lord. According to 1 Corinthians 2. 7, I believe they're the princes that crucified our Lord. In fact, a fascinating passage was written a thousand years before Christ, attributed to King David. Psalm chapter 22 is a prophecy of the cross. Many bulls have encompassed me. Bulls of Bashan. They gnash with their teeth as a roaring lion. We know what that is. They cast lots from my garments. This is the gambling for Christ's robes. They pierced my hands and feet. So this is a thousand years before Christ prophesying that what do we get at the crucifixion? Not only do you have the Romans, the Jews, the family of Jesus, other people are surrounding the cross. You have Satan and the 70 plus princes in the spiritual realm surrounding Jesus. In fact, the COVID of War of the Princes is the spiritual realm of the cross. And so this is profound. And God says in the New Testament, I will show you a mystery. Had the princes of this world knew that crucifixion was the catalyst of salvation, they wouldn't have done it.

Not at all. And I am so excited that you're digging into this because Derek and I have discovered there are a lot of entities hiding in plain sight in the original language. Stuff that is translated. Lightning, thunder, terror. Those are all entities.

And on my latest study on the mythologies, my next book after this, there's these mythological gods and monsters that are actually in the original Greek, even in the original Hebrew. When we're talking about Lilith in the translated as screech owl in the Old Testament, in Isaiah.

Right.

But Python is in the original Greek. Python is who Apollo fights. They put the oracle at Delphi on top of the fissures that come out of the ground. And the oracle gets demon possessed.

Well, in the New Testament, a girl is possessed by a spirit of divination. The original language is a spirit of python. So we're talking about these entities, these monsters from mythology, and they are mentioned throughout, but the King James and a lot of translations don't necessarily translate them with their proper names. Azazel in Leviticus 16 would be an example.

Yeah, but it's common with all the English language translations because I don't think the translators had the supernatural worldview that you're telling us about today. And so when they see a word like dever. Okay, that's pestilence and you know, Reshef. Okay, that's plague. Not realizing that those were the names of entities, Canaanite deities and certainly the Hebrew prophets knew it, but it's been de supernaturalized out of our Bibles.

And when we talk about all the princes and the reason for all this, the late Dr. Michael Heiser's work, Reversing Hormone talks about Jesus actually came to the earth for three reasons, not just salvation, to reverse the curse of death. And again, we won't go into detail right now. We don't have time, but hopefully next week, Jesus also comes to reverse the curse of the watchers from Genesis 6. And he also comes to reverse the curse of these princes in Deuteronomy 32, right after Babel.

Micah with just a Couple of minutes left on the clock. Why do you think that churches today don't seem to be talking about things like spiritual warfare or these entities or angels, and yet they will preach often about, you know, the positive parts of the gospel, Jesus Christ, his resurrection. So they acknowledge there's supernatural events, but they're not talking about these portions of

scripture because the message of Christ is the most important, hands down, full stop. What Jesus Christ did on the cross for humankind is what I hope that everyone comes to the knowledge of. And so I love studying the weird stuff. Derek studies a lot of the weird stuff. And so this is all for naught if you don't know Jesus Christ as your personal savior. But listening to Sharon at conferences and Derek just. It's fascinating to study. As far as preachers getting in front of their congregations, I'm not going to fault preachers. You know, I've had my own preachers, you know, say, I'm not going to talk about this today. This is. We're going to skip over it, but this is what I think and just move on. I'm not going to fault them. But, look, neglecting this area of scriptural study by angels, it really produces a faith, in my opinion, that is not as deep as it should be because Jesus Christ is more powerful than all these princes. Jesus Christ defeats these princes, the watchers and the serpent as well.

Would you agree that understanding what it is that you're talking about in books like Angels Eternal actually strengthens faith rather than just confusing people?

B
Absolutely. And of course, it's not just as an author. Some folks can tell you this. I've learned so much through writing, well, all my books, but this book, especially about the angelic realm and coming to the conclusion that angels have free will, too. And that's kind of obvious. So, yeah, absolutely. It produces a faith that is deeper. And, you know, I love studying about it. I'd rather, you know, you shouldn't be talking about angels and nephilim and all this. I'd rather do that than talk about the latest football game. So let's talk about the weird stuff.
