Creating space is not an easy task for some of us. I'm praying in this meditation that I help us do just that. Let's create some space for Him to be seen and felt in our lives today.

I love a good God story! This was such a sweet episode celebrating just that. God has brought two women together to take them on an adventure for such a time as this. "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” - Ex 14:14 He is capable. He is strong. He is bigger than our fears. He is all-knowing. He is our defender. He cannot lose the battle. He already stands victorious. So that thing you're feeling lost in or that battle you feel you need to fight, I encourage you in this meditation to let Him fight for you. You need only to be still. As soon as God gave me the idea to do this series, I wished this influencer were here for me to interview him in person. Roland Classen left a mark on this world and in the lives of so many of us. He always pointed us to Jesus and did it with grace, conviction, humor and gentleness of spirit. I am forever a different person for having the privilege of knowing and being taught by him and I know I'm not alone in this. To have known Roland, was to be near Jesus. Simple as that. He was something special. Since I couldn't get him on the podcast, I did the next best thing and dug up one of his sermons from 2002. My prayer is that in this episode, you experience truth and God's love. Thank you, Roland, for being our shepherd and leader for so long. Your legacy lives on in the lives of those who knew you. We got my mom back on the pod! So often you hear me quote her and today you get to hear the live version of her love and wisdom. She's been such a huge influence in my life and the biggest inspiration for me in how to live authentic and imperfect (especially as a parent). She shows me the process of growing and learning and she is a constant source of grace and love for us. We talk about anxiety, God's redemptive power, and transformation. Hope you enjoy our chat. This is what it's like to sit at her kitchen table with cup of tea. It makes me happy.

Another moment to breathe and reset. This one we focus on finding our strength in Him and not in our own ability. He is capable. He is strong. He is bigger than anything thrown our way. "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love," Eph 3:16-17
