Fertility in Marriage: Let the Lord Build the House

Children are a blessing, and the Lord opens and closes the womb, so Christian couples are called to receive life with faith and gratitude. From Psalm 127, the call is to let God build the house, resisting cultural pressure to control fertility and avoiding legalistic extremes. Within marriage, husbands and wives should pursue covenantal intimacy, not depriving one another except by mutual agreement for prayer, and seek wisdom together for any seasons of abstaining or pursuing conception.
