In this candid, unplanned conversation, Julie, Karen, and Meredith revisit the films and shows that first cracked them open to a deeper relationship with animals — the ones that made them cry, made them furious, and made them believe. From Bambi to Benji, King Kong to Kimba the White Lion, Snow White to His Dark Materials, the stories they loved as children were doing something: seeding empathy, shaping intuition, and asking questions that would take decades to answer. This episode is a love letter to the animal stories that woke us up — and an open invitation to share yours.
