Hey. Welcome back.
B
Welcome back. I was just telling Tyler that I wish I didn't have the brain I had. Honestly, like, we want to get really deep really quick before we talk about skin butter. Let's do it. I honestly, like, real talk, was very depressed in high school and middle school because I never thought I could be happy because of the way my brain works. Like, I hate the way my brain works. Like, I think so deeply and so much. Like, everything holds so much weight to me, which is like one of my superpowers. And that's why I've been able to create what I've created because of my brain. But it also is, like, the biggest source of my unhappiness because, like, you are what you think. And, like, I. I've always been, like, nothing's ever gonna be good enough for me. And so I'm always gonna be in my head and, like, unhappy. So it's not that I want to be like this. It's just how I am.
A
No one thinks you wanna. I don't think you wanna be like that.
B
I hate. I hate it sometimes. It's like my biggest blessing and curse. Yeah. Okay. Anyways, let's not talk about mental health today. Let's talk skincare. Black Friday sales happening. Best sell of the year. Well, it's not a sale, it's a promo. And it's the best time to stock up because your products are good for 24 months before you open them, 12 months after you open them, and you'll get, like, new products to try. You can stock up good Christmas gifts. But if you don't know what to do, don't worry, we got you.
A
We do. I think by time this comes out will either be in the all access or the extended access. So it's truly the best time to stock up because you get probably like 500 plus dollars worth of free skincare. And who doesn't want that? I mean, right now, for the early access, they're giving away a full size Alto advance and like 15ml Alpharette 15ml Maestro revive 10 peel pads, even intensive 5ml IMAX 5ml and a 15ml Trio Lux. So they're really slinging the freebies right now. And if you spend 3.99, we are the only clinic that is has this special gift with purchase that is the nicest travel bag they've ever done. So if you, if y' all normally get the little travel bags or anything like that that they do, I wouldn't say they're the highest quality or the best thing but you know it's free so you may use it. But this one is actually really nice and it's huge. Like it, it's kind of like a square but it has the zipper in the middle so when you open it it's like a whole thing. And you could fit your entire like if you have a 15 step skincare regimen you can fit the entire thing. Full size bottles in this travel bag. It's insane. It's like it makes them disappear. I don't get it. So perfect. Well, let's get started. I am going to be asking Savannah. Her four must have products for different skin concerns. And let's get started. Four products for hormonal acne.
B
I would definitely say if your skin does well with salicylic acid clearing serum. If you know your skin does not do good, I would do Alpharet hands down my sure revive because it's going to bring balance to hormonally imbalanced skin from menopause, perimenopause, pcos, endometriosis period breakout, period breakouts around your cycle. And then I would also do Trio because it's a great non comedogenic moisturizer. And then I would have peel pads two to three times a week.
A
Perfect. What about just normal congested skin?
B
Definitely refining foam cleanser which would also work for the previous concern as well. But for sure that detox scrub mask one to two times a week. Heel pads and clearing serum.
A
How about oily skin?
B
I would do cleansing gel but if I had to pick four. Okay. I would go refining foam regular maestro to balance your oils. Clearing serum trio.
A
How about rosacea?
B
Ooh okay. Rosacea definitely all too advanced even tone Maestro Alpharette clearing serum. The salsa is so good for rosacea.
A
Clearing serum is coming out on top.
B
She's coming out on top right now.
A
And it's funny cuz it works for literally everyone but us too.
B
Our skin hates salsa.
A
Cannot use it.
B
She's mad. Pie Alto advanced even tone regular maestro peel pads.
A
Okay. Piggybacking off pie Hyperpigmentation melasma.
B
Okay. Ultra advanced, even intensive because it's better for people that have more browns and maestro vibe because melasma is hormonally triggered from birth control or pregnancy or medications. And then I would do intensive Alpharette heel pods too. But like we can only pick four.
A
How about texture?
B
Texture? I would definitely say even intensive because it helps with more texture than the others do. Trio is going to help balance that Skin intensive Alpharette and pill pads.
A
Fine lines and wrinkles.
B
Okay. Interfuse lines the best. It's like Botox in a bottle. Alto Advanced Alpharette and interviews, face and neck.
A
Oh, my gosh. I just saw an email. I saw that you ordered Lola Blankets.
B
Huh.
A
You didn't use a discount code. All these influencers right now have 55% off. I just got two blankets for the price of one. I think I saw the email this morning.
B
It's okay.
A
I was like, no.
B
Why don't I have an influencer code? Aren't they the ones we're using it this fall?
A
Well, I just saw the influencer code, like, yesterday, but it was like, Jake Shane, like, 5 million followers. Like, did a brand deal.
B
I want a discount code.
A
Like, if I. It's not like everyone is doing it. It's like I saw, like, past the puss.
B
I don't know. I don't care. Now I'm upset. Next.
A
Did you say interviews? What was the last one?
B
Face and neck.
A
Oh, face and neck.
B
Sound topic.
A
Well, it just popped up on my phone. What about loss of firmness?
B
Loss of firmness. I would do also interuse lines. All too advanced Alpharette and interface, face and neck. Okay, so I'll say aging.
A
Okay. Okay. How about dark circles underneath your eyes?
B
Definitely would say. In the morning, do the instant effect eye gel with inner fuse, eye on top. And then at nighttime, IMAX with or interviews, eye with eye max on top.
A
Only three products.
B
I would also put Maestro underneath there. Regular Maestro.
A
Would auto advance help. Like brighten. I don't know how that works. I'm not the expert here, y'. All.
B
We know.
A
Well, I'm just asking what the people may be thinking. What about uneven skin tone?
B
I would do peel pads, Alto Advanced, even intensive, intensive Alpharette. Mm.
A
Last but certainly not least, what is your go to's for buckheads?
B
Oh, refining foam, peel pads, detox scrub, clearing serum. Yeah, same.
A
Those are all the concerns I had.
B
Okay, cool. So one of my clients is, like, a holistic healer and just. Just, like, very spiritual. And I had a really rough day, and she knew I did. And so I'm in the spa, and I'm with a client. I'm like, it smells like dank in the spa.
A
It didn't smell. And I knew it didn't. I was saying, what weed are y' all smoking? Because it smelled like a campfire.
B
No, it smelled like Reggie.
A
It was like a burning smell. And. But I had been smelling it all day. Remember earlier when I asked if you smelled like, do you remember that?
B
She wasn't there all day.
A
I know she wasn't there, but that's the smell I was smelling all day.
B
So I'm just like, that's not what happened.
A
I was getting what's not true.
B
That couldn't be it. Because she didn't know.
A
It couldn't have been her. But that's the exact smell I was smelling. And then it got so strong. So I wonder if I had some sort of, like, what is it? Omni Omnipresence? Clairvoyance?
B
I don't know, babe. I think that's in your head. But I was like, someone smoking reefer in my building. Like, for sure. Like, there's someone smoking weed at sva. I'll say. This one had a dab pin in here. Like, what's happening?
A
It got so strong, y'. All. Like, we were getting gassed out. Like, we. At first it was subtle, and so we thought it was coming from one of the neighboring businesses through the HR's headquarters.
B
Is like, smoking that dank today.
A
And then it got so strong so quickly, and Savannah came back and was like, go over to our landlord and see what is going on. Because we thought it was either someone was, like, hotboxing their entire business right next door to us or the building was burning down. Like, there was no energy.
B
I didn't think the building was burning down. I knew it was, like, marijuana.
A
It wasn't, though.
B
It was sage. So I go, the client that was numbing in the room was burning sage, which is, like, so sweet and kind and, like, she was cleansing my, like, the energy field for me. But I just, for some reason, didn't register that, like, she would be burning sage. I thought someone was smoking weed at the spa. They weren't.
A
It was. It was. We. Every single one of us was so confused why it smelled like that. Like, there have been few instances at the spa where that strong of a smell. And it's when fish is put in the microwave when we order Chipotle. No, Chipotle's not that bad. It was really strong.
B
It was really bad.
A
What else do you want to say about Skinbetter?
B
It's just the best time to shop. I have so many boards created. I have so many resources and assets on my Instagram and my highlights. Old post, which we are going to be posting in the next coming days, regimens for you guys. So it's easy. And, like, also what to buy so you can hit certain tiers. Obviously, if you're New to skin better or medical grade skincare. I'd always say start out with my three favorite products, all too advanced Alpharette and trio. Like that is amazing for everybody. And then get intensive Alpharette if you're someone who's been on prescription like tretinoin or Retin A and then get clearing serum if you're someone who has more acne prone skin. But you can use any of the alpharettes with acne. Especially if you're someone who has issues with salicylic acid. Don't do clearing serum works for like 90% of people. But if you are the one are like the 10% of us unlucky ones that can't. Don't worry, you'll still get clear with Alpharette. We should share, write this down. Tomorrow you should share your Alpharet before and after again and the real that you have because it's crazy. Like most people think a retinoid is going to cause like more redness and irritation but Alpharet actually reduces redness. It's insane. So you can use it if you have eczema, you can use it if you have rosacea, it's great. And then I would definitely say I would get on biorewind to reverse glycation and stop it from happening. There's a lot of products that can help stop glycation but not reverse the damage that's already happened. And it's just a really cool technology. And it also can make your hair grow. So absolutely love that. And then another one I would say is a non negotiable is getting peel pads. They're like literally, literally magic erasers for your face. So good for everything. You can use them on body acne, stretch marks, keratosis, pilaris. You can use them on your hands for age spots and your ears for blackheads, great for melasma, great for texture, great for acne, great for blackheads. It will literally the next day you'll wake up and be like a brand new bitch. So highly recommend getting those. And then Maestro revive the new product Maestro. It's going to help balance your skin and it's so good for hormonal imbalances. As I mentioned earlier. What are your must haves?
A
My must haves are regular Alpharette I and you can ask Savannah. Like I was so scared to use it. Like I had tried clearing serum, it was not good for my skin. So then I just cut it out of my regimen and I went back to like my bare bones regiment and like had to re Clear my skin. Just salicylic does not work with my skin. Never has. Don't know why I thought it would this time. And so I was really scared of starting a retinoid because, you know, what percentage do you say of people purge?
B
Everyone.
A
Okay. I mean, I didn't. Which was the crazy part.
B
Like, 85%.
A
Yeah. So I was scared of the purge. Like, my skin was actually doing really well at the time. I had some, like, irritation and redness. It was also really cold. My skin was dry, so. But, like, generally quite clear. And so I was really afraid to start using Alpharet. But actually, our skin better rep and close friend Marlo was like, tyler, I cannot believe you are not using Alpharette. Like, just use it. And within three days, like, every bit of irritation I had on my face was completely, like, reduced. My pores were smaller. My, like, complexion was just more even. I mean, now it is a staple in my regimen, and I will never look back outside of that. My number two would definitely be tone smart lotion.
B
I forgot about that.
A
It is like, I'm someone who has a lot of underlying redness in my skin. Um, if you've seen me do my skincare on the stories, you'll know that every time I touch my skin, it looks like I, like, dipped it in dry ice. Like, it gets so red. And so even when I'm not touching it, it still has, like, a little bit of underlying redness. And so when I use tonesmart, it completely evens out my complexion. It makes your fine lines and wrinkles literally disappear. It makes your. Your pores look a hundred percent smaller. It covers up pie marks. It is tone adapting and is an. It is an SPF 75, and it has a PA rating of plus plus plus plus. So the SPF rating is going to block you from burning rays, and then the PA rating is going to block you from aging rays. And those are both basically at the highest possible level. So you're getting the best protection when it comes to the sunscreen aspect. But it is also giving you beautiful coverage so that your skin looks glassy and glowy and beautiful. Am I boring you? And how many did you do? I did two. My third one would probably honestly have to be. I'm between trio and Detox scrub, so I'll give them a tie. I love Detox scrub because it is a, like, triple action mask. You're gonna have the. What kind of beads are in it? Jojoba.
B
Jojoba, yeah.
A
Okay, so you have the Jojoba beads, which Are like perfectly spherical, not gonna cause any harm to your skin, and are gonna be that perfect. Physical exfoliation to get off that extra dead skin, help clean out, really detoxify your skin. Then it also has chemical exfoliation in it. I'm blanking on the acid. It's. I think it has glycolic acid in it. So you're going to get physical and chemical exfoliation. But the best part is that it is also a. What is it? I'm asking you everything. Benzene weight, clay, Some kind of clay. It's clay based, so it is going to absorb the excess oils on your skin to help balance it. And I can tell you all, I'm an oily motherfucker. So clay based physical and chemical exfoliation, it's like a full treatment at home. If you have more sensitive skin, you don't need to use it as a mask because it can be a little drying. If you already have dry skin, you can just use it as a scrub in the shower or while you're washing your face and still get all the benefits. Or you can use it as a mask for 10 to 15 minutes. Probably only like one to two times a week. So, yeah. I love products that have so many different purposes. And the detox scrub mask is literally the definition of that. And then trio is just like the best moisturizer on the planet. Like, is more than a moisturizer, it is a moisture treatment. It also is triple action because it rebalances your skin, it hydrates your skin and it moisturizes your skin so it just feels like silk. That's one thing I'll say about skin better products is that they all not only have some of the best technology out there on the market, but at the same time, they feel the best out of every product on the market. To me. Like, they. I don't know. Do you know what I mean? Like, the products, they feel, they feel so luxurious and it's like you don't have to compromise with skin better products. And that's what I love because you get the best of both worlds. Like, it feels like you're using your fancy La Mer cream, but like it's actually good for your skin. So that's. I gave four products.
B
I love that. That's all I have. I'm so tired, guys. I love you. I'm sorry this is a short episode, but we'll see you next week. And next time we record, we're gonna do it earlier in the day, okay?
A
Okay.
B
I can't do this.
A
Bye, y'. All.
B
Love you. Bye.
