Foreign solo episode. Savannah Boda here. And we're doing part three. Q A. Let's get into it. Do I like calm by plated for daily use and acne prone skin? Yes, I do. It is so good for pie redness inflammation. It is great and I love it for rosacea. Was the follow up question is do I like it for rosacea? Yes, besties, I do. Acne on your butt. Okay, well, I'll tell you how not to get acne on your ass. Ready? Do not sit on public toilet seats. All right, squat babe. Go to the gym. Get those leg muscles ready. You gotta squat. And second of all, peel pads, skin butter peel pads on your butt four times a week. We'll get rid of it. Um, you can also use sulfur spot treatment from faciality to spot treat. And then also I love using alpharette over night cream for the body on my butt. It's the best. And then if you have old acne marks on your butt, the Derma Melanin Intimate lightening depigment gel. It's a very long name and that's also on our website. Okay, what do I think of Zeo Skin Health? I feel like I've answered this a lot, but maybe I'll be nice this time. Well, other than the fact that their reps bullied the fuck out of me, I don't love their products. I feel like they're aggressive people and aggressive products. I mean, that's just how I feel about it. I think it's old school. I think it's a very heavy glycolic acid line. I know people get good results with it, but I also do believe in having integrity of the skin barrier and not stripping it into nothing. So it's a no for me. I say no to Zo. My niece has white closed bumps all over her arms and is two years old. She has keratosis Polaris and she needs sieve. Definitely can use Plated Intense and Hydra remedy in the same routine. Absolutely. You do plated first and then hydro remedy. Searching for a night cream that is not sticky. I would do Trio Luxe. Trio Lux is so good. Why am I not using the buyer repeal anymore? It was a good product. There was just a lot of controversies with the company and I just did not want to be tied to that or have my name promoting that behavior. So. And honestly, it was the best thing that could have happened because I found the RDS peel to replace it and I get better results with that. Anyway, I think Biore Peel is a great peel. But again, like, with all the controversy, I just, yeah, had to take a step away. Ethics, you guys know, ethics are a really big thing for me. It doesn't matter, you know, how well product is doing. Like, if the ethics aren't there, I just can't have my name around it and I just can't support it. Okay. Skin better routine with carboxy and intense. Okay. Some of our last episode when I went through, like how to apply every single skin butter production. So after the cleansing and the detox scrub and the peel pads a couple times a week, you would then go in with your toner. Okay. And then you could do intense serum. And then you'd go in with the whole shebang. If you were using the whole line, like lines, alto, even tone, Maestro, everything will stay the same. You'll just add carboxy mousse right before your moisturizer. So right before trio difference between mandelic and ondue. So mandelic acid is a more gentle acid and so is azelaic. But I would say I like azelaic better for like inflammation and redness and rosacea. And I like Mandelic more for fungal acne pigment and inflamed acne and non inflamed. I mean, they're both great. It just depends on the routine and who it's for. Can carboxy be used on dry skin? Yes. It increases your skin hydration by 117%. I'm always getting tiny whiteheads on my face. How do I treat it? Sounding like a. You're using a dirty washcloth that you need to get rid of or not washing your sheets or you are using pore clogging, skin care, makeup or hair care. Sieve versus Maestro. Very good question. Besties. I love you guys. So both of them are going to create balance in the skin. I would say sieve is spore based. I wouldn't say it's the truth. Sieve is spore based. It's a spore based formula. Maestro is planted optogens. Maestro is the best for rosacea, dull skin, melasma and large pores. I have never seen a product like shrink large pores. This does like, no cap. Like when hand on the Bible. If you have large pores and you're not using Maestro, you need it. Sieve I would say is better for like dermatitis and more just like rashes and things like that. Like anything like eczema, perioral dermatitis, peri. Ocular dermatitis. Also good for fungal acne. Can Help rosacea too. But I really think sev is best for rashes, hives, eczema, dermatitis. Maestro would be my go to for rosacea redness pie, melasma, dullness in the skin texture and large pores. And you can use them together. Sip first, obviously, because thinnest, the thickest. I have been breaking out all over my face from whey protein. What's the best products to clear? Well, ACNE takes about 30 to 90 days to form, so once you stop the whey protein, you should start to see your skin improve. But to help expedite that process, you definitely want to use carboxy mousse because it creates oxygen where bacteria can't survive. And then you're going to want to help a ton with any kind of dead skin cells and congestion. So mandelic serum would be great, or clearing serum, or both. Mendelic in the morning and clearing at night. What's a great service and product for rosacea? Service wise, I love the aerial lace for rosacea. And doing a glacial glide on top is like phenomenal, beautiful, amazing. And then product wise, I would do calm serum. All too advanced Maestro and carboxy mousse and intense serum. But do if you're applying it and this will. Wait, did I say calm? Yeah. Well, you can use calm or intense. So calm or intense first, then alto lipid serum too. You could do intense serum or calm serum, then lipid, then alto, then maestro, then carboxy. And actually funny enough, inner fuse, face and neck is so good for redness, it's crazy. On do our maestro for rosacea and perioral dermatitis. So both I would definitely use both. And I'd add in sieve. So I do sieve first, then ondo and then maestro. And you'll be so happy. Take before and afters because your results are gonna be fucking insane. Can't wait, can't wait to see what step or what step in your routine. Should you use your ice globes right after cleansing, clean dry skin. Does cleansing gel go on completely dry or do you at least wet your hands? I do dry skin, dry hands with cleansing gel. I feel like it grips your makeup better. And then I add in a little bit of water, like after cleansing for like 30 seconds. Then I'll add in like just a smidget of water and then cleanse. How do I open my skin butter science bottles to see how much product is left? You're not supposed to do this because if you break your product, they'll get mad at Me, but it's just a little like twist and pull. Mot. What serum should I use for monthly at home microneedling? Well, don't do at home microneedling, first of all. So I'm not answering that question because I don't condone that behavior. Bestie. I'm sorry. It's too risky. Can you use alpha appeal pads? If you're using adapalene 0.1% you can? Yes. Hormonal acne. After taking out my IUD help, it's gonna take time for your hormones to get back on track. So you're gonna have to wait for that hormones. At the end of the day, doesn't matter how good your products are, if your hormones are imbalanced, you're gonna break out. So just give a second to let everything cool. But I would definitely get to help heal faster. Intense serum and Carboxy Mousse will get your skin feeling great. Favorite pregnancy safe Glymed products. I like Brilliant Tone Ultra Hydrogel Oxygen Cream, the Radiant Serum CBD Mist. It won't get you high, sadly. And then what else do I love? Ideala Cleanser Comfort Cream. Pretty much everything is pregnancy safe besides like a retinoid. So yeah, I go between even tone and vivid bright. Which one is actually the best? So for sunspots, you're going to want vivid brightening for sure. We're almost to the end. Dun dun dun. But it's okay because I have some fun stuff. After an affordable pregnancy safe skincare routine that can help with acne scarring and redness, I would go face reality. I would do the mandelic scrub. If you're not having. Did they say inflamed acne? They didn't. Okay. I would do Ultra Gentle Cleanser Barrier Balance Creamy Cleanser. I would add in your mandelic serum a couple times a week. And then I would go in toner. I would do moisture balance toner and then glycolic lactic toner. And then at nighttime like three times a week to just help speed up that skin cell turnover cycle. And then I would do mandelic 5% because your skin is more sensitive when you're pregnant, FYI. Like, way more sensitive. Like things that like. I used Alpharet throughout my entire pregnancy and I usually could use intensive Alpharette because it's pretty gentle. But I couldn't use intensive Alpharette when I was pregnant because my skin was so sensitive and dry. But I could use regular. And the reason why I chose to use retinoids while I was pregnant is because education, it's really fear mongering, all of it. And not just that. A lot of it's just liability and just old science, to be honest, or not even science, lack of research. I would say it really started from the umbrella. Retinoids are an umbrella term first and foremost. Okay? There's oral forms which would be your Accutane, isotretinoin, things like that. So we all know you can't be pregnant while on Accutane. Like they literally make you swear that you're on two forms of birth control and sign your name. And I'm pretty sure you have to take a pregnancy test or blood work every single month. It's like very, very, very important because you literally can have so many birth defects if you're on Accutane. It's a very high, high, high, high, high, high, high, high, high dose of vitamin A. Okay, so vitamin A and retinol and retinoids, they're all the same thing. So we know that. Right? Causes birth defects. So basically when they found that out, they were just like, okay, so no vitamin A at all whatsoever. Like topical skin care, anything, it's done. And it's actually really funny to me, you know, because vitamin A is in prenatals, Vitamin A is in our foods that we eat. We get a ton of it from a lot of the things that we're consuming in our diet. And the amount of vitamin A that's in prenatals recommended by doctors and physicians is more than the amount that could ever be topically absorbed from your products. Like if, if it were to get into the bloodstream, it is so minuscule, like it's crazy. But then on the other side, I'm like, it's nine months. Like your kid's life is honestly so much more important than like your vanity. And you know, but sometimes it's not even vanity. Like, so people get off their retinoid, they start breaking out. So, you know, it's a double edged sword. I don't, I think skincare is health care, but I do think some people don't want to get off of it for vanity reasons. And like, again, I don't blame you because if you knew the science, you would also not want to get off of it because it's silly. And a lot of doctors and obgyns, they're up on it now and they're like, yeah, you're fine. Like you're gonna be okay. Especially with something like Alpharet, it's so gentle. It's not going to get into the bloodstream. It's effective and it's going to perform like prescription strength retin A or tretinoin, but it's not going to get in the bloodstream. But I am not a doctor. This is non medical advice. Ask your ob gyn. But if you're asking me what I did personally, I did and I will. And any other pregnancy, I will continue to use it. So I don't even know what we were at. What was I being asked? This is why I need Tyler. He keeps me on track. I'm so confused. Affordable pregnancy, safe routine. That's what we're talking about. Okay. But anyways, back to the retinoid rant. So, yeah, once you have that knowledge of knowing, like it really was an umbrella term, if you look at the studies, like there's nowhere that says using a retinol on your face is going to cause birth defects. But they also don't test on pregnant women because no one wants to get sued. And the first thing that happens when someone miscarries or has something go wrong with their child is they obviously start pointing fingers. And people care obviously about their children more than they care about themselves. Like, if a company, like, let's say Sieve didn't work, okay, and I was using civ on me and it like broke me out for a bit, like, I'm going to be annoyed, I'm going to be upset about it, right? But if I put it on my baby and it like fudged him up or gave him burns or like something crazy happened to my son's skin, like I literally would be finding the person that made this product and punching him in the throat because I care more about my son than I care about what happens to me. So that's the other thing is, like people when it comes to children, like, you can fuck up a person and they may forgive you and, you know, keep seeing you or whatever, but if you hurt their kid, you're fucking done. Done, done, done, done, done. So that's the other reason people just don't want to mess with it. And again, it's nine months, it's not that deep. It's skincare. It's not like the end of the world. You know what I mean? Like, if they, they told me literally to get off like my antidepressants when I was pregnant and I was like, you know, kind of scared about that sounds like, well, nervous, but yeah, like, that's, that's what I mean. You know, if they're going to have me off my, like Depression meds, like, you can get off, but that's really for low birth weight. Like if you're on SSRIs. Anyway, we're off topic. Where were we? I said Mandelic Serum. Glycolic Lactic Toner from Face Reality. You can use Hydro Remedy. That'll help with redness. You could use Intense Serum. But you did say affordable. That's not affordable. I mean, it is if you, like, add up how much money you spent on Starbucks, and if you stopped drinking Starbucks and got Intense Serum instead, then you could maybe swing it. It's all about sacrifices. I feel like, you know, obviously there are times where, like, you know, people can't even afford to get a Starbucks drink. But, like, if you're that person, that's like. People throw that around a lot. Like, I'll see clients are here just from other practices when I'm like, helping them with their coaching and stuff. And they'll be like, oh, like my clients can't afford it. I'm like. But then, you know, they're right after they leave your office, they're gonna go buy a Louis Vuitton bag or they're, you know, gonna go get hair extensions put in or go get a full syringe of lip filler. Like, people use that word when it's convenient to them. So a lot of people, and this is in every circumstance, I hate that I have to do this and like, backtrack all the time, but it's because bitches be sensitive and people want to fight me all the time. Like when I talked about the dental hygiene thing. Clearly, if you can't put food on the table for your kids and can't afford to get gas to take your children to school, like, this is not about you, okay? And skincare should be the least of your concerns. And you shouldn't even be asking me questions because should be like selling foot pics or something to help your family. But just kidding. Oh my God, am I gonna get canceled for saying that? Tyler would be so mad. I'm joking, guys. Okay. Hahaheehee. But you know what I mean, it's just different folks for different strokes. So if you really cannot afford it, ask yourself, what are your priorities? What are you spending things on? What matters to you? And again, to some people, skincare, having the best product for scarring is not their top priority. Maybe they'd rather have a coat or that they've really been wanting. Or they'd rather go to Cancun with their husband for spring break. Or maybe they Would rather buy a necklace or a bag or get lip filler. So, you know, that's kind of where it comes down to where it's just like, you know, everyone's priorities are different. Everyone's priorities are different. All right, next question. Do I wear sunscreen on my body daily? Uh, no. Unless I'm so bad. I sound so bad. Okay. Don't judge me. Okay? No, I don't. But I do wear it on my face and neck and my hands. I don't unless I'm at the beach or hiking. We're outside for a prolonged amount of time and I'm not covered. But I'm usually covered. Not my arms, though. Next question. We have 2%, so my phone may or may not die. We have to text Lance back. Okay. Red light mask or red light panel? I say both. If you could have both, why not do both? I really want a red light panel. By the way, besties, let me know the comments of this video if you have one and what you like. I think the one that I want is the vital something. My friend Candace has that one. Thoughts on Elastin? I used to work at the last and I think their Nectar product is really amazing. And I used to like their tinted sunscreen before I discovered tonesmart sunscreen. Theirs makes me a little bit orange, which makes me sad because I do like the consistency of it. It's really lightweight, but it makes me very, very orange. Very Oompa Loompa E. Not the vibe. I think they're okay. I think what I've heard through the grapevine is that their prices have gone up a lot since they were purchased by Galderma. Is this Galderma, right? Yeah. So that's not fun. But I like skin batter better. I've never like. I didn't miss working with the products when I stopped working at the practice that carried them. I didn't feel like it was like make or break. Nectar, though, is so good. Post procedure. I will say that. Not good for acne. Preteen acne. What is the best routine I would have them use? Mandelic wash hyacinth mandelic 5% hydrobalance. Clear derma or cramped Peptide if they're dry. Clear Derma if they're more oily and just normal skin. And then sunscreen. Daily SPF 30 faciality Best product for stretch marks. Okay, besties. Funny enough Techno. It's crazy. Crazy. Don't knock it till you try it. It's one of my secrets. It's so good. Okay, so we're gonna take the last 10 minutes of this episode and talk about life updates. So in three days, Lance and I leave for our anniversary trip. So excited. We are going to the Maldives, which has been bucket list travel place for me because they call it divers paradise. And unfortunately, like, all of the Reeves are dying. It's really sad. And so I was like, I have to see this before I die and before they die. And I'm really excited and hopeful that I'll get to see a whale shark. SBA 2.0 is coming along. I have been really stressed out with it because I am so picky and I am so hands on with everything. Like, that's why with people like Sav, why do you not hire a travel agent? It's because I like to know everything. I want to know all my options. So I don't have fomo. I'm like, the queen of fomo. I have FOMO every single day, all the time. And, like, if I'm going on a trip, like, once in a lifetime, like, I'll probably never go back to the Maldives ever. You know? And so I'll never say never, but, like, 90%, I'll probably never go back after this because I'm also that kind of person that if I've been there, I don't want to go back because I want to see different parts parts of the world because life's short and I could die any day. So I just want to, like, spread my wings and fly and touch as many dolphins and different continents as I can. But I don't know. Do I hang on. It's there. Maybe I close my eyes. No, I don't know what I was saying. I have no clue. I really don't. Maybe it'll come back to me. Anyways. Maldives. I hear Cyrus. They're coming back in. I don't know what they want to do. Probably go eat without me because they hate me. But yeah, I know that. Definitely a Cyrus. I hear that. Boy, what was I saying? We're going to the Maldives. Oh, okay. Fomo. We're back. I got it. Okay, so I get FOMO all the time, and so I want to see, like, every possible place that I could stay so that I can scout it out. Because, like, what other person. What other people like and what other people think is cool may not be what I think is the best. And I want to go on my trip and not be like, oh, my God, like, should I have booked at this hotel or should I have stayed here? Should have. Should we have eight here Instead, should we have booked with this company to go on this tourist attraction instead? Like, I want to do all my own due diligence so that, like, when I go on the trip, then I can relax because I've done it the other way. Not with a travel agent, but just, like, not really researching much and just kind of being like, whatever, book it and we'll just figure it out when we get there. And a bitch was stressed the entire trip. And when I'm on a trip, I want to be relaxed. And so if I stress myself out beforehand, looking through all the options of everything, then when I get there, I feel more relaxed because then I'm like, I already, like, went through every possibility. I looked at every resort, I looked at every scuba company. I looked at every single restaurant. And, like, I am confident that I made the right choice instead of getting there and then being like, oh, no, like, should I have done this? Should we have stayed here and then, like, getting fomo. So that's my vibe with everything, and that's how I feel about the spot. And that's why the spot has been so stressful for me, because I just want to know every single option. Like, even though, like, I have designers and, like, they're, like, pulling, I tell them what I like. So, like, it's like a collaborative thing because they're not just, like, doing it without me, you know, it's all what I want or what I've told them that I want, and then they, like, pull things that, like, match that. But then I'm like, not that I don't trust them. It's that it's a. It's expensive, okay? It's really expensive. And I'm not going to be getting a renovate a renovation, like, probably for, like, four years, right? So I don't want to, like, make a choice that I'm not 100% confident in before I've seen other options. So at night, after, like, doing like, a seven hour, like, meeting with them, then I'm at home, like, looking at different wallpapers or different sink options just so I know that I'm confident what I chose, and I can't find anything better. So Cyrus is losing his shit out there. I don't know if y'all can hear that. Let's see what he's saying. We'll tell him just to come in. Oh, they're locked out. Spider. Oh, Jesus. Is he kicking a wall? I think Spider's coming to get him. We love you, Spider. Thank you. Okay, so there's that and then, same thing with the house. Like, the house process is a lot longer than the spa process. And so, like, the things that I picked for the house, like, a year and a half ago, I don't really, like, love as much as I do now because, like, you just learn so much in the process of building. And, like, you just. Your frontal lobe, I fear, develops. Like. I feel like when I went into it, like, I went into it with, like, a child's mind, and now, like, I feel like I'm pretty versed on, like, it. Come here. You want to come see Mommy? Wanna come sit with Mommy? Come here. Epicutie, you wanna put on your hat? Be careful with your hand, bubby. Daddy, how's your hat? Anyway, so I feel like my style's changed. Not, like a lot, but I feel like it's more refined and sophisticated and not like little girly pop. Like, I feel like I've just grown as a woman, and I see things in a different way now. Hi, baby. You wanna come say hi? You want to see Mommy? Come sit right here. You want to chase me? Oh, you want a tissue? Who wants a tissue? So anyway, so that's new. What else is new, Lance? In our life. We have Cyspera in office, which I've kind of briefly talked about in the past two episodes, which I'm really excited about. Cyrus, don't. Don't bug him. Come sit with Mommy. Come here. You want to sing people a song for. For a little outro? Do you want to sing Frosty the Snowman? Okay, here you go. Come sing right here. Up on the rooftop. Can you say reindeer paws? That is funny. Come here. I steal you. Okay, we're gonna do a duet. Are you ready? Up on the rooftop. Say it. Reindeer paws. Out jumps Goodall down through the chimney with down through the chimney with out jump scoodle. He's not wanting to sing. What about Frosty the Snowman? Was a holly jappy soul? No. He's not pleased. All right, guys. I hope you enjoyed this episode. Lance, do you have anything to tell the people? I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys himself, drives safe, has positive thoughts, and keeps a positive attitude. There we go. Cyrus, do you have any closing thoughts for the besties? He does not. What's he saying? A monster. Let me show your hat. Can I see it? No. Okay, he has a hat. This is Epicutie that Epicutus gave him. It's really cute. You want to put it on your head? No. All right, well, I think we're gonna get some tacos and prepare because there is a new skin butter product, not the new formulated interfuse face and neck that is launching soon. Maybe has launched by the time this episode's out. But I am doing a photo shoot. I hate doing it. Yay. All right. I'm the worst model because I hate doing it. I hate being taken pictures of. Mommy doesn't like it because then Mommy has to put makeup on and find an outfit. It's the worst. But whatever, it'll be cute. All right, love you guys. Happy Monday. Hopefully, Tyler will be back. Thanks for dealing with my ADHD mind. And again, if you got offended, go touch grass. There is children dying, and it's not that deep. Okay, Love you. Bye.
