A
Hey, guys. Welcome back to the Blondes.
B
She makes it look like we, like, smoked a bowl in the last episode. In this episode.
A
We did not. It's just really. These lights are so bright. It's giving me a headache.
B
So we discussed a couple things of what we were gonna do, and I'm not sure exactly.
A
Have we decided? Have we made a choice? I think we should just do. I don't know what the fuck do people want to know about? But by the way, I do have an acne webinar that you guys can purchase. Hopefully by now, if it's not on.
B
Our website, it should be up by tomorrow.
A
Okay. So it's on our website, which I had really good. It was honestly my best class I've ever done.
B
Yeah.
A
Ever. I was very, very impressed with myself.
B
I was very pleased with her.
A
Yeah, Daddy was proud.
B
I was proud. Yes. I mean, Savannah always does amazing. But this time, like you, I was dropping gems. You put your whole.
A
And I'm glad we record. I'm glad it was recorded.
B
Yes, of course.
A
You know what we should start doing? We should just take. When I do my, like, live classes, I'll just, like, lip sing it the whole two hour class. Like, just put, like, an audio of me talking and then I'll just, like, pretend like I'm saying it live.
B
I'd have to memorize it.
A
It's so good.
B
It was very, very informative.
A
And then we also have a pigment one too.
B
Once this episode comes out, it'll probably be. The pigment one will probably be next week. So you still have time to sign up to watch the live version.
A
The live version's the best because you can ask me questions.
B
Yes, you get to participate in the Q and A instead of just hearing the Q and A. Mm. And Savannah really got through all the questions last time, so.
A
Okay, I think we should do Ask me skin care myths or, like, things that people say or do, and I'll tell you if they're right or completely wrong or biased or non. Non biased. Well, actually, no, it is biased. I'm always biased because I'm biased myself and my beliefs.
B
Okay. Some of these I think may be myth. Some may be partially true. We'll see. Oily skin doesn't need moisturizer.
A
Wrong. You deprive your skin of moisture. What it's going to do is produce more oil. So you're actually going to be even oilier. So.
B
Drinking water alone keeps your skin hydrated.
A
Can help, especially with acne. You need to flush your system, but you need to Use a hydrating serum for sure. Like, water is not enough, but yes. Like, if you're dehydrated, you're going to be dry.
B
Do you think that I'm breaking out right now because I started drinking more water after being the Sahara Desert for so long, and now my body's like.
A
It's, you know, not just one thing. It's the perfect storm. Should take my acne class, maybe.
B
I watched it all.
A
Clearly not.
B
You can't detox your skin. Your organs do that, not your serums.
A
I mean, purging is a detox of the skin, drawing out impurities. I mean, detox is like. Depends how you want to fucking.
B
Like, define that.
A
Define the word. But I would say you can.
B
Natural ingredients are better.
A
No, no, because that's just dumb. It's just so stupid.
B
She hates this one.
A
It's dumb. Water is a chemical. H2O is a chemical compound. You are a chemical compound. Natural ingredients a lot of times are going to get mold and break you out because they don't have any preservatives or a stable formulation. And food doesn't belong on your face. You want to be using derivatives or synthetic versions. Yeah, I definitely believe. Yes. There are certain ingredients out there that are not good for us and toxic. But it's mostly found in our food, not really in our skincare. And then anything that has been found in skincare has been banned or, you know, there's warnings and FDA things going on.
B
Expensive always means better results.
A
No, there's a lot of. Like, La Mer, for example, is Nivea in a jar for $400. But there is truth to ingredient quality, ingredient sourcing and how expensive. Formulations, clinical studies, clinical trials. There. It's just. It's. It's a nuance. It's not always true. It's like, there's good doctors, there's bad doctors, there's good estheticians, there's bad estheticians, there's trash men, and there's great men, good men.
B
More trash men than good men.
A
Yeah, but, you know, it's the same kind of situation is like, Jessica, it doesn't. It depends on what it is. Not everything that's expensive is good. Like, expensive doesn't equal good. They're just scammers.
B
The more products you use, the faster you'll see results.
A
No, but you don't want to just use one product because it depends what you're trying to treat. Like, you know, there's so much that goes into it. Like with acne, you want to make sure. One, you have something that's lowering inflammation. You want to make sure you have something that's hydrating the skin. You want to make sure that you're having something to help exfoliate dead skin cells, something that's going to help reduce oil and then something that's going to kill bacteria and then of course, moisture and sunscreen. So there's like so much more that goes into it. So, like having a good regimen is good, but again, that's like a hard question because sometimes, you know, you can have like four or five products and it'd be great. Or someone has like a 12 step regimen and it's great. It just depends on like your skin's needs and what you need. But trying to just use one product to treat a concern that has multiple aspects to it and needs multiple ingredients and functions, you're not going to get results as fast.
B
Face wipes count as cleansing?
A
No. Counts as removing your makeup. It's a different thing. Removing your makeup and cleansing are two different things. Got a double cleanse. You got to sweep and then you want to mop. You want to sweep to get off the makeup. Dead skin that's built up throughout the day. If you have like a good, like, you know, oil cleanser that can help get dead skin cell off or even like a good gel cleanser. And then mopping is when we're actually like really targeting, decongesting your skin and like, you know, gently exfoliating face wipes.
B
Are like basically just smearing around that residue.
A
Yeah. And drying your skin out and killing our planet.
B
Your skin barrier is the foundation of healthy skin.
A
Yes. If it's not intact, everything's going to be whack. You're going to have more redness, more. More dryness, more acne, more inflammation, worsened pigment. Because a damaged barrier, your skin is in a state of inflammation and your products can't work properly because if your pores inflamed, nothing's getting in it. It's like swollen. It's like a swollen lung or swollen esophagus. What is it when you get like strep, like when is it your esophagus that swells shut?
B
Maybe like, are you thinking like tonsillitis? Is it your throat where your tonsils get swollen?
A
Yeah, sure. That's what I mean.
B
Darker skin tones don't need spf.
A
Why? Everyone needs sunscreen.
B
They may not get burnt, but they.
A
Still age and get the damage.
B
Makeup with SPF is enough.
A
No, the sunscreen that is makeup is okay.
B
Tanning beds are safer than sun tanning.
A
No, that's crazy. It's worse.
B
Do you think everyone knows that? Do you think there are people that think that tanning beds are better than, like, being out in the sun?
A
Probably some people that beat their children and abandoned dogs.
B
Okay, well, yeah.
A
And rape people. So, yeah, I do think that a.
B
Base tan protects your skin.
A
No, does not.
B
SPF 100 blocks significantly more than SPF 50.
A
It's not true. Only goes up by like 1%. Doesn't make that big of a difference. Trying to get a cool picture of us. I'm really confused because I'm like, backwards.
B
The posts mid podcast.
A
That's funny.
B
Hot water opens pores.
A
No, pores do not open and shut. But it can make your skin, like, a little bit more easy to get things out, more permeable because when it's cold, it constricts. So but like, I'm talking ever so slightly.
B
Skipping moisturizer reduces oil.
A
Nobody answered that.
B
Yeah, you did. Your skincare products should sting. Or, like, you should feel them.
A
Oh. Does not have to burn for it to work, but it is normal when starting a new product, a little stingle, a little tingle, or like a weekly treatment that has a little bit of a sensation. That's okay. But that doesn't mean, like, there are a lot of products that are made to where you're getting. The delivery science is changing. There's delivery systems that, you know. Alpharet, for example, you know, unless I just dermaplaned, I don't feel a lot of sensation with that because of the way that it's formulated. So, yeah, formulation has really advanced to where you shouldn't have to feel that feeling to get results. But even if you do feel it, doesn't mean it's bad. But I wouldn't equate like, it burns with it works because that's not true.
B
Popping your pimples makes them heal faster. No, ask me right now.
A
Ask me.
B
Always literally had an under. Like, just an underground small pimple.
A
Dude, my neck is getting fucked up again.
B
I have, like, the biggest red spot because I picked at it so hard.
A
I got a personal Pilates trainer to come to my house.
B
How was that?
A
She's 20 and she's so mean.
B
How did you find her?
A
Club Plotties. She was my instructor. She's not mean. She just makes me actually do shit.
B
Oh, she was your instructor there?
A
Yeah.
B
Is she still an instructor there?
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, nice. Wait, I love that.
A
I know.
B
So you liked her in class and.
A
You were like, hey, well, yeah, because she, like, really, like, she catered to me, and I was like, I like her. The other women, you know, they're mean to me.
B
Oh, they're fucking mean to Savannah. The stories I've heard, I'm surprised Savannah still goes there.
A
Anyway, I like her a lot. She just, like, doesn't let me stop. She's just. It's harder than a class because she's, like, really, like, focused on me and pushing me and correcting my form. And so that's why I've learned even when I'm in class, I'm doing a lot of wrong, working the wrong muscle. And, like, we're focusing on getting me, like, a big, thick, firm, juicy, plump, tight ass. So that's why. I mean, I'm feeling it. I'm coming or come Fridays, too. I'm going to get to see her tomorrow.
B
Are you sore?
A
Yeah, but that's what I want.
B
Yeah, that is what you want. Yeah, I want to come. I only have one reformer in the new house.
A
You think I'm gonna buy a reformer? Just have, like, fucking club Pilates at my house.
B
Yeah. For you.
A
Are you in TT like, 6K to get two more reformers?
B
I remember you originally said you wanted two reformers.
A
No, I'm gonna get a weight rack, and I'm gonna. No, I want, like.
B
You want a whole, like, dumbbell, like.
A
Yeah.
B
Wow.
A
Yeah.
B
You're gonna start doing chest presses?
A
I'm gonna start doing squats with heavy weights. I want a heavyweight squat rack thing.
B
You could do squats with your weights right now, though.
A
Like, no, but I want. I want, like. I want to feel official.
B
That is official. That's what Lauren uses.
A
No, but I want, like, the thing.
B
You want the bar?
A
Yeah, I want the thing. And then I also want a StairMaster.
B
StairMaster.
A
That's gonna get me the ass of my dreams.
B
Yeah. And it's really hard. That's what Ryan does. Ryan does 500 floors.
A
Like, Ryan's his boyfriend.
B
Yeah. There's, like, 500 floors.
A
Well, his ass doesn't look that good for 500 floors.
B
You looking?
A
Yeah, I mean, I just. It's not. But I think it's hard for men to get a dump truck. He doesn't have fat on him. That's the other issue is I don't have enough fat on me to get a fat ass.
B
That's so.
A
It's like. It can be tight and plump, but.
B
Yeah, which his is.
A
I need a bulk. I'm so scared to bulk. Terrified to bulk, because I fear I would never cut. I fear I would just.
B
The cut would never come.
A
I feel like I just have such a good time bulking. I don't know if I'm like that disciplined. I don't know. Okay, next question.
B
Non comedogenic helps, but it's not foolproof.
A
Yeah, I would agree. Everyone's skin's so different.
B
You don't need anti aging products until your 30s.
A
That's crazy. We start depleting collagen in our 20s.
B
One of the most popular ones, retinol, thins the skin.
A
It actually builds new collagen and elastin in your dermal layers. And it helps get rid of dead skin cells so it can help with cell turnover. So it's not thinning your skin, but it is kind of helping get rid of the stuff that doesn't need to be there on top and then building underneath. Do you feel me? Does that make sense?
B
Acids and retinoids can be layered with proper guidance.
A
Yes. We've hosted my webinar tonight. Into your little. Your little mask tonight. Pouring them out. Okay, I'm ready.
B
Collagen creams rebuild collagen.
A
I don't know what that means. Peptides can help stimulate collagen. You can't put like collagen on your face and stimulate collagen. It's the ingredients that stimulate collagen.
B
Yum.
A
To produce collagen.
B
More exfoliation equals better skin.
A
No, if you over exfoliate your skin, your skin's gonna again be really dry, inflamed and irritated, and then it's gonna look worse. It's the key. It's the balance. It's the yin and the yang between exfoliation and hydration. What you break down, you must rebuild. What you exfoliate, you must hydrate. It's the law.
B
Sun exposure can clear acne.
A
No, but it can make your acne worse by scarring your skin.
B
You can scrub away blackheads.
A
No, I mean you can exfoliate and help minimize the appearance of them over time, but really, extractions are going to be the best thing. And like clay mask, charcoal, sulfur.
B
Yeah, you need to feel squeaky clean after cleansing.
A
No, I think we should both start wearing sunglasses for the podcast. It could be funny.
B
Oh, we don't have your other purse. I was gonna say you probably have another.
A
No, I think it's a vibe.
B
Mary Poppins.
A
I think we should do it. It makes us look like cunty. In a good way.
B
Only you look cunty. I'll just look like a loser.
A
It's not true.
B
Diet has no effect on acne.
A
That's a lie. It definitely does. Especially like when there's already a fire started, which is your acne eating certain things that are gonna disrupt your skin and its functions. It's just like throwing gasoline on the fire. You get your skin clear, you can start adding things back in. You'll see what triggers you. The issue is a lot of people are getting over the recommended daily value of certain things. Like, it's not in moderation. It's an abundance.
B
Some things are.
A
And some things are good in moderation, which is that.
B
Thank you.
A
There you go.
B
Acne prone skin shouldn't use oils.
A
No, there are some oils that are acne safe.
B
Reapplying SPF ruins the makeup.
A
No, not if you use the skin butter compact or the color science brush on sheer matte SPF powder.
B
I'm getting a headache. Whoa.
A
I know. I feel like shit.
B
I just had, like, a weird pain.
A
In my temple because of the bright lights.
B
The best anti aging product is daily use of spf.
A
Say that one more time.
B
Just say yes.
A
Yes.
B
The best anti aging product is daily use of spf.
A
Yes.
B
Lymphatic drainage tools melt fat.
A
Oh.
B
Ice rollers are good for the skin.
A
Yes. My cold globes from Epicutus that we sell on our website are the freaking best. They're like a Nokia phone. Cyrus has chunked those hose across my house 87 times. They've never broken and they stay cold forever. And they're stainless steel, so they're easy to, like, clean. I fucking love them. And they also help depuff your face. It's the shit.
B
Changing your pillowcases helps reduce bacteria.
A
Shaving your face helps reduce bacteria.
B
Changing your pillowcases.
A
Oh, shaving your face. Yeah, it helps. It can help. Especially if you have, like, cats and dogs and toddlers and miscellaneous body fluids on your bed. My bed. I need my sheets changed often because I have five animals and a toddler.
B
Yeah.
A
All over my bed, all over my pillows. And you know what I noticed, Tyler? I actually clear up on vacation because I'm in, like, a freshly cleaned bed every single night and there's no animals or Cyrus.
B
Maybe you need to get like, five bedding sets. Oh, five bedding sets. Yeah. Maybe.
A
Maybe I need to change it every day.
B
Or like. Yeah, maybe you should.
A
Three. I think three would be three.
B
Yeah, maybe you should do that.
A
Maybe I should do that. The issue is when it gets. They're just on the pillows all day when I'm at work, and then I get Home. So I just need, like, a fresh one, like, right before I go to bed.
B
Yeah.
A
And then by the end of the night, they're already on it. All the animals are on my pillows. Millie sleeps on my pillow.
B
Yeah, Nova's always on that damn pillow.
A
Nova. Nala. The only one that really doesn't sleep on my bed is Athena.
B
Athena's in her own world.
A
She is in her own world.
B
You cannot erase acne scars with products.
A
You can definitely help improve the appearance of them. How fast is that gonna be? I mean, some people have better healing times than others, but if it's deep, deep scarring, yes. You'll need to get some treatments done. But I've seen people with, like, exosome serums, peptide serums, retinoids, exfoliation definitely help. And wearing sunscreens, like, the biggest one. Their skin heal faster and without product or without treatment.
B
Professional treatments and piggybacking off that are more important. Oh, no. Professional treatments are more important than skincare.
A
Eyes. You touch your face every single day, twice a day. It's like. And they see your station maybe once a month, right? And so, like, what you do every day is who you are, right? What you eat, what you consume, what you watch, what you do. That's like what you're going to see in the mirror, you know? And so it's like, for me, if, like, I was someone was like, oh, like, I'm going to eat like shit every single day and then hit the gym really hard, like, every single month, once a month, versus the person who never steps foot in the gym but has, like, a really lean diet, they're gonna look better, you know? So one treatment, it's like that same thing as, like, getting your teeth clean. That's like being like, oh, I'm not gonna brush my teeth twice a day, but I get a dental cleaning once a month. Like, that's fucking gross. First of all.
B
My last one is skin can become immune to products.
A
No, I don't think that's true. But I do think as the seasons change and as we change and age and grow our skins needs, we need to adapt to that Mic drop. Was that it, buddy?
B
That was that.
A
All right, guys. Hope you enjoyed. Hope you guys have an amazing day. I hope you slay, I hope you conquer. I hope that you guys just have a really good day. I really do.
B
Deep down, we love you guys. Hopefully the next time. Well, the next time.
A
You know what I need, Tyler, Stop booking the podcast. After I've talked to 14 clients all day and worked a 12 hour fucking day.
B
You've been booking your. They don't work on Sundays, and your Mondays are full every week. So you got yourself to blame, girly.
A
I know, because, like, sometimes I'll be in the car and I'm like, oh, my God. I'm like, have so much energy to, like, say things. I wish I could like, just, like, record it and then put it up on the air.
B
But, yeah, no, that's not on me, y'. All.
A
I still think it's good. I just wish I had more energy.
B
Well, you're also not feeling well right now. You've been going through it. For those of y' all who still love us and are still loving the episodes, thank you. Because it has been a season for Savannah, but also for me. So don't make me.
A
I got a divorce. You got a boyfriend. You're fine.
B
I. That's not fair.
A
That is fair.
B
I helped you everything. Well, I'm your backbone. Yeah, but emotionally.
A
Emotionally, now, Physically, yes. Yeah, he said.
B
I felt like I was cry.
A
By yourself. I'll help you set up the lawyer meetings, but anything outside side of that, don't call me, don't text me, don't tell me.
B
True. Not true. Oh, I've been begging her for information.
A
Can we hang out? No, I'm with Ryan. I'm like, okay, I'll just, like, kill myself.
B
That is so not fair.
A
The truth. Besties. That's okay. I've learned to love to be alone. And when they break up, which I hope they don't, because I actually love his boyfriend.
B
More than me?
A
Yes. Everyone does.
B
He's just a golden retriever.
A
Kind. He's so helpful and nice. He's so sweet. Like, my nanny is scared of Tyler.
B
I didn't think we were going to talk about that.
A
She's scared of him. And I said, me too.
B
Yeah, he's just a golden retriever, But.
A
I never thought I'd be scared of someone that was 25, could be my child. And I said, dude, evil.
B
I'm not. I'm serious. I don't make people cry. I've never made someone cry.
A
The whole team came to me and was like, tyler's so scary. Tyler's just very intense and serious, and he's a businessman. He's. He takes emo. This is the thing. I tell people what to do all the time, but I say it in a way that's just so loving and kind and cheerful. Except to, you know. And you. I just gave you a taste of your own medicine. You just Say it. Cold. No emotions, which is good. That's why I hired you. Because I am not that way. Except with you. And he's like, why do you. Like, if I need. Maria, do something. I'm like, maria, can you warm up this tea for me? My sweet angel baby princess, you look beautiful today. Hate to see you go, but I would love to watch you leave, you know? And then, Tyler, I'm like, warm up my coffee.
B
Yeah. And then she, like, does this to me, and then she spits in my face.
A
I've never. I just say what I need. I don't fucking have to. You don't need baby. I don't even call you baby when you have a boyfriend, okay?
B
No, you don't. You don't.
A
That don't have love.
B
No, you don't. But you can still be kind. I'm always kind.
A
Are you kind?
B
Yeah, of course. I'm always kind to everyone. Like Maria today, she was going out to her car and I was like, can you please do me a huge favor? I left my notepad in there. It's just like.
A
I think that's just, like, common courtesy.
B
I'm not like. I'm not like. Yeah, exactly. It is common courtesy. That's my point.
A
Get the energy that you put out. Be nice to me and I'll be nice to you.
B
I've been trying. One of us has been trying. We're beefing still.
A
And we're not beefing.
B
No, we're not beefing. It's all love. It's all jokes.
A
You just have such. He just has an attitude.
B
I just have. I just have a stressed personality right now. Like, once we are in this new spot, I'm going to be skipping down the hallways.
A
It's how you say it.
B
Exactly.
A
We're both horrible right now. Just cunts to each other. But it's fine because, like, we're best friends. We love each other.
B
No, exactly. But once we get in this new spot, I swear there are days when.
A
I really think both of us could, like, actually, like, get in a fist fight.
B
No. Yeah, there have been those days. But I think we're going to be, like, locked arm in arm in this new spot, like, skipping down the hallways.
A
I hope I missed. I miss my best friend. Is this okay?
B
Love you guys. I love you.
A
Love you, too.
B
Okay, bye, guys.
