A
Foreign. Welcome back to another week of the Blondest podcast. It is your host today, Tyler Jacoby and.
B
And Ryan Douglas. Good to see you guys again. Miss you all.
A
I know Ryan's like our stand in host now. Savannah had an emergency come up and we have never missed an episode in like six plus years. So we're not about to start now.
B
And you guys asked for a part two, so, yeah, here we are.
A
Thank you for coming again. If I ever had to do this shit alone, I do not think I could do it. I am not someone who could just talk for 30 to 45 minutes by themselves.
B
I feel like I'd love to watch it, though. Like, I feel like it'd be very entertaining. You'd start talking about classical music and you'd go into each. And then it could be like a listening episode about, like, the differences of different. Different, you know, like Bach. We were just talking about.
A
I don't think that's our audience.
B
That's true.
A
I think I would lose them if you said, ooh, I could do it. You could do it, but not the audience.
B
I think it'd be cute.
A
Anyway, updates. I don't think we have many updates. Today is actually my two year anniversary at sba, so thank you. That is exciting.
B
You got the most beautiful flowers in the whole world.
A
I did. Got a very, very beautiful flower arrangement.
B
They're very pretty.
A
Natalie from Dr. Delphinium. If you listen to this, which I know you do not, I love you.
B
What was your favorite flower that was in it?
A
You know my favorite flower.
B
I know, but say it for the viewers.
A
My favorite flowers are hydrangeas, which are
B
also my favorite flowers. No. My cousin Annabelle and I both love hydrangeas. I was actually in her wedding.
A
I believe Annabelle. I don't believe you.
B
You do believe me. They're literally Cinderella blue, which is a shirt. Cinderella blue, by the way.
A
And then what else? We finally are getting around to planning our grand opening. More details to come. But, God, y', all, we moved in about six months late at the.
B
It was end of. End of November.
A
End of November.
B
We didn't start taking clients until, like, January.
A
We didn't start. Yeah, we still had a lot of touch ups that needed to be done. And Savannah was like, we. We cannot have clients come see this building in the state it's in. Which, by the way, it was completely fine. No one else would have noticed.
B
But the blue tape was.
A
Yeah, the blue tape was taping. And blue.
B
That it was. And it was blue in.
A
But then we started taking clients In January, but still had construction basically until three weeks ago.
B
Yeah, I think they're all finally done, though. Yeah, we just gotta get locks installed, some doors.
A
Yeah. God, I hope so. But that took another five years off my life. I remember Savannah and I saying when we were going into this year, like, 2025 was the year of hell. 2026 is going to be just flourishing. The beginning of 2026, I will admit, has not been flourishing, but hopefully the remainder of the year will be.
B
Yeah.
A
So grand opening in May. If you are a Dallas local, we are going to be having such a good time. Maria is actually of all of our events at sba. She always has been.
B
She has some great ideas so far. So it's going to be magnificent.
A
We're gonna have an aura reader. We're gonna have an engraver there to engrave skin, better compacts.
B
And we're gonna have, like, the little charms for your incredible chapsticks.
A
Look at that. You had chapsticks.
B
I know chapsticks. Lip treatments.
A
It's a lip treatment.
B
Do not ceramide lip treatment. Sorry. Lip tint. Actually, this one on gloss. Angel food. My new favorite thing. As Tyler knows, I love a lip product.
A
Call it a chapstick, and Ally from
B
Anfisa is gonna come and get me.
A
Yeah, she'll cut you.
B
I love them.
A
So, yeah, they're gonna do a charming station. We're gonna have raffles for each of our rooms that are kind of themed, and we're gonna have some really great incentives if you are not a client and you may want to become one. So May 13th is in good raffles. Oh, ruffles. Okay, Got it. For each of the room.
B
Okay. Yeah, for each of the rooms.
A
Oh, and a coffee cart, of course. So it's gonna be really fun. May 13th from 4 to 8pm Y' all are probably getting the first inside scoop if you listen to the podcast. I'm not sure when we're gonna. We're creating some assets right now, but more to come. Keep an eye on the Instagram and. Yeah, I think that's all I have for updates. Yeah, we posted today a little Q and A. So we are just gonna be doing questions for. From the Q and A. And we may turn this into a part two, Part one, part two.
B
We'll might spice it up a little bit.
A
You know what? I didn't even have it pulled up. Do you have any updates?
B
Do I have any updates? That's a good question.
A
How has work been?
B
Work's been great. I love It. I have been given the task recently of helping Savannah find funny reels because we've noticed that her funny videos do significantly just get a lot of views and a lot of good interactions. So I've been finding some funny ones, and people seem to like it. So it's been a lot of fun just helping her out, get some cute videos.
A
Okay.
B
One of them being, I did have to slap her ass. It was quite hard.
A
Yeah. Apparently, she wanted it to be me. Me, the one who was getting slapped. And I was like, absolutely not.
B
I was not having a good day.
A
I was not having a good day.
B
I did, in fact, say, maybe not. But then it got turned around, and she was like, what if I'm upside down?
A
And we were like, oh, yeah, exactly. That's what the people want to see anyway. I mean, if y' all are OG fans, which, if you listen to the podcast, you probably are, you know that Savannah's Instagram was built on funny reels. She used to be busting down all the time.
B
The dancing was impeccable back then.
A
She was a dancer. Y' all are both dancers.
B
Both have.
A
They've got the roots, you know? Next time she calls in sick, I'm going to have you be dancing on the ground. Okay, let's get started. First question is, what are your favorite drinks, alcoholic or not?
B
Ooh.
A
Actually, we have.
B
We do have a favorite drink.
A
A crazy favorite drink. Y' all are gonna think we're absolutely out of our fucking mind, but we are.
B
It is kind of like how like, we met, too. Like, it kind of, like, ties into our story. So.
A
So there's this bar in the, like, gay strip of Dallas called Roy G's.
B
Do you know why it's called Roy G's?
A
Roy G Bib.
B
I did not know that for the longest time, and my brother actually pointed it out, and I was like, out
A
of all people, his brother a straight man.
B
I was shocked.
A
But they have this drink called the Electric Lemonade, and it is a frozen lemonade that is basically a Long island iced tea on.
B
That's a recipe for disaster on meth. Yes.
A
You are only allowed to have a maximum of two per person because it has ever clear. Vodka, rum, tequila, gin.
B
You said vodka, right?
A
Yeah. It has everything.
B
It has everything.
A
And it doesn't taste like it does, so that's why it's so dangerous.
B
But it tastes fantastic, though. It is really good.
A
They know us there, so they give us more than two.
B
We are there.
A
So I would say that's our favorite drink. We always Say we're like, it's gonna be at our wedding.
B
We actually are going with Maria this weekend.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
Her friend awaited.
A
Her friend is visiting, so we're taking
B
them there, but very excited. But what's your other favorite drink? Like mine of all, I am a big Diet Coke. Stan. I love Diet Coke. It is my favorite thing in the whole world. Besides Tyler and your dog and my dog.
A
I don't know. I don't.
B
You have a good. You love matcha. You love Coke.
A
Yeah, I love. I love banana matcha. I do love a Coke. A nice crisp chick fil. A Dr. Pepper never disappoints.
B
I also do love a frozen margarita. Anything frozen is right up my alley. Mikasina Mama Taxis. That's where it's at.
A
Basic bitch.
B
Limit to two there, too.
A
Do you ever get tired of each other?
B
I'll let you answer that.
A
My answer may be different.
B
Well, I want to hear yours.
A
I don't think I get tired of him. I think sometimes I could wring his neck until he turns blue, but I don't think I get tired of him.
B
That's crazy.
A
I would say the same. I've said the same thing about Savannah on the podcast.
B
We're not that similar.
A
It's just when you spend so much time with. You and Savannah are absolutely that similar, but it's just when you spend so much time with someone, I think anyone feels that way. You sometimes want to wring my neck until I turn blue.
B
I feel like it's less wringing your neck and more so, like, punching me between my eyes. No, I would never. I would just. Yeah, but no, I feel like I. I feel like, surprisingly, I do not get as tired as I thought I would working together.
A
You know what? I'm gonna say this. I never get tired of being with him. Like, I'm never like, oh, my God, I need some space right now. Like, I never feel like that. So, no, I would. I would say the answer is no.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah, that's what I said. The answer is no. But sometimes.
B
Until you want to wring my neck.
A
Yeah. Yeah. That doesn't mean I want to be away from you. I just like, yeah, yeah.
B
But no, I don't think I do.
A
You could only pick one. Lipid serum or plated intense serum.
B
Oh, lipid serum all the way.
A
Yeah, I think I'm a. I think I'm gonna say lipid serum, too.
B
Tetramethyl hexadecinyl succinyl cysteine. My favorite. That is one of my favorite Things to say. It's almost like supercalifragilistic. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. That's so embarrassing.
A
Yeah, you were like, it's my favorite.
B
But I got the first one right. The one that matters. TSC inflammation.
A
Yeah. I would say lipids here. And for sure it's. I don't know, I think I'm someone who has naturally a lot of inflammation in my skin and so I notice a huge difference when I stop using it. I would say that I don't have a lot of like redness or like fine lines and wrinkles and stuff with intense serum, so. Or like acne scarring or anything like that where I would see like major benefit from intense serum. Now don't get me wrong, I using that shit every day. But lipid serum, I just feel like.
B
Lipid serum just feels like a tall glass of water. Like I just.
A
It's what I've said for months. You stole that from.
B
I just love it.
A
Years then. Okay, can you use acne med and clearing serum together? If not, which one is better? I absolutely use both. They do come two completely different things. Clearing serum is going to have the salicylic acid to help address the acne and it is going to have retinoic acid and lactic acid which is going to help with anti aging but also just increasing the cellular turnover of your skin. And then the acne med is benzoyl peroxide. So that's really going to be oxygenating the skin and keeping it bacteria free. So I would personally use both. You'll do clearing serum first, then your moisturizer. No, no, no, no. Scratch that, scratch that. I didn't say that. Clearing serum first, then you'll put on the acne med. If you're using both and you're just starting out, I would start at the 2.5% acne med and then you wanna wait 10 minutes and then put your moisturizer on top.
B
I also. I had never used acne med before because you said it would. What, Dry me out or.
A
Well, Ryan has really dry, sensitive skin. So if he uses anything abrasive and especially if you're stacking things that are active, he. He's gonna like, it's gonna calm.
B
Barrier goes crazy. But recently I had. It was awful, actually. I had this pimple that was on my chest after we had spent a day at the pool and I had used some Maui babe tanning lotion. And I'm pretty sure that does clog your pores. Clog my Pores mess up my skin, because I'd put it on my face before this summer. And I sent a picture to Tyler, and I was like, what the hell is going on to my face? Like, this is awful. It went on for, like, three days. I tried everything, but. But the past. We went this past Saturday, and the next day, my skin. I had something that was there, and then it got worse the next day, but started to feel kind of like what I thought might be. What is it? Staph infection, which I've had before, which was awful. I had it when I was in a musical. I was in Greece the Musical playing Eugene, and I got it from sweating a lot in, like, the, like, bacteria environment. They were cleaning our clothes every night, but I don't think any cleaner would get the sweat that I sweated from those dances. So I got stuff super bad on my leg, but the feeling was so similar, and I was so worried about it. You can ask Tyler. I was. I wanted to go to the hospital.
A
He did want to go to the hospital.
B
I was like, we should go now.
A
I was like, bitch, put some acne med on it. Go to sleep. It'll be better.
B
And then I put 10% acne med. The next morning, it was all gone. Yeah, it was incredible. So.
A
And also, if you do experience some dryness and irritation from using acne med, sometimes you need to acclimate yourself to it so you can wear it. Wear it as a mask for, like, 10 minutes before.
B
Like, cleanse your skin across your whole face.
A
Yeah, wear it as a mask, then wash it off. Then do your skincare routine for, like, you know, three to four days. Then the next three to four days. Wear it for 30 minutes, then an hour, and then start to try to using it overnight so you can acclimate yourself. If you, like, immediately feel like your skin is, like, freaking out from using it, someone said, no question, but y' all are gorge. That's so sweet.
B
That is very sweet.
A
I don't believe you, but that's sweet. What is your funniest memory together? Work and personal. You're gonna have to answer this. You're answering these.
B
I feel like we both have to so be thinking. I feel like, recently, because we answered this before, like, for, like, the personal one.
A
Okay.
B
But I can think of another personal one. I feel like today in the car was pretty. Pretty crazy.
A
What?
B
Today in the car, you. You look at me like you're gonna kill me.
A
Are you kidding?
B
I am not kidding. That was. That was quite hilarious to me.
A
That's that's not being talked. What is? If
B
it's the same as me sitting. No, that is not okay. We'll hold it. We'll save it for later. I have another one though. You're mad at me now.
A
Go on.
B
It was funny, but it will not be shared. I feel like at work. What would you say for the work one?
A
I don't know.
B
You don't have one for either?
A
I mean, I have one that you wouldn't find funny, but I found it really funny.
B
Share it. But I'm sharing your next one. No, if it's what I think it
A
is, it's not embarrassing for you.
B
Okay.
A
It's. Oh, no, that one. No, that was very funny.
B
That was probably the craziest.
A
No. When Ryan had to single handedly move a 400 pound crystal and he was not okay.
B
I was not okay.
A
And I was laughing my ass off at all.
B
And oh, I. Oh. And then the people that were helping us move actually ended up like, I asked if they could help us and so we were all doing it together, but then they flipped it onto my finger. It was purple.
A
I wasn't laughing about his finger getting crushed, just about him having to.
B
Because you didn't realize how heavy it was.
A
Yeah, there was like. Cause there's a really big one and then there's like a smaller one that is deceivingly small because I went to go pick it up and I. I threw my back out. It was like in pain for like three days. Like that. There was like this little one that had to be like 130 pounds and it's maybe like yay big, but it's.
B
That one's still pretty. That's pretty. Pretty bad.
A
We're going on to the next question. What is on your guys shopping wish list? Ooh, I don't know.
B
We have a lot of stuff on our wish list right now because we actually are.
A
Yeah.
B
Moving into a new place.
A
We are, we are. So Ryan kind of moved in with me and not kind of. He did. And his dog. And I also want a dog this year. And so I was like, my place that I got last year is certainly not big enough. First of all, I'm a minimalist. I don't have a lot of stuff. Like the. I. I have a decent amount of clothes, but like everything else, I do not really care for things too much. Obviously I have like a shit ton of skincare in my back stock, but like I would say that's the most excessive thing I have.
B
And then again, you're like we need to get rid of it. Like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
I like, no, no, no, no, no, no. If anyone ever comes over to my place, I'm like going to that. Like go into my backstock and like, take whatever you want. Because it stresses me out having that many things. And Ryan is the stresses him out knowing he doesn't have every option available for every single thing in this entire world.
B
Yes.
A
And so I.
B
Number one being Lip Products.
A
Lip Products. Number two being any kind of bag. It can be a Walmart, it could be a Walmart. Plastic bag. It could be a Lululemon. No.
B
Or like when you go to a nice restaurant, like we went to Evelyn recently and they gave the most beautiful bag. And I was like, this is a memory. Of course, you know, I kept it.
A
I did.
B
Well, you know, like Lululemon. As he just mentioned, when we went to Hawaii, they had this Cinderella blue bag. And you know that I was gonna keep it. And he was like, we don't need it. So we are gonna actually bring something to my friend Emily. And we brought the bag and he's like, let her keep it. And I was like, absolutely not. And that is coming home with us again, as I told you in Hawaii. But no, I love every bag.
A
So anyway, we needed to get more space because I have. I continue to live in squalor and like, think of like, what's the. Like, what, what was the TV network that had all the reality show?
B
Tlc, tlc.
A
Imagine tlc. Hoarders.
B
That is not like me.
A
How we're living right now.
B
That is not. This is exaggeration.
A
And so in May, we are moving into a two bedroom with a study, more room to hide the shit that I don't want to see. And we need to furnish a two bedroom apartment.
B
There's a lot of stu on our wish list.
A
Well, it's not a wish list, it's a buy list.
B
It is a buy list. But I feel like the one thing that is on my wish list right now is like, I really want a new necklace. I do.
A
Just bought one.
B
I did just buy one, but I really do want another one. So that's just. It's the one like this, but like has like more of them. I think that'd be so pretty.
A
He wants a 10 motif necklace.
B
In my dreams, though. I might have to wait another 15 years.
A
You need to get a new car first.
B
I do need to get a new car, yes.
A
How do you guys balance work life with personal? Is it hard working with your significant other? I think we answered this a little bit last time. Yeah. Has that changed? No, I don't think so. I think if anything, we can, like, beef even harder and it still be okay. Like, you know, if it was like, a co. Just a co worker, and then you get into a fight, like, things get awkward after, but, like, we have to go home together. We have to work it out.
B
So, like, even if we fight pretty well, like, we have even, like, even ways of working things out, which is helpful. Yeah.
A
Honestly, like, the dynamic is. Is that he is more of the emotional one, and then I'm a dick, and somehow it works itself out. I don't know how it works. Somebody said, any fun travel plans coming up?
B
Well, we do have something fun.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
Well, something very fun. You have something coming up sooner, but, yeah.
A
Next week, two weeks from now, Savannah and I are going to AMSPA in Vegas. So we will see y' all there, hopefully. Savannah has two talks with the conference. She's doing a little something. Something with skin better and a little something with hydrinity. Still figuring out another one if it's gonna happen or not. But we will be there. We're gonna be in and out of there, though. Vegas is admittedly not my favorite place on this planet, and the past two years, this conference has fallen to where I'm spending my birthday in Vegas, and.
B
But luckily not this year.
A
Yeah, this year is the first year I'm not having to spend my birthday in Vegas, which I'm very excited about.
B
And it's funny because, like, Vegas is on my, like, bucket list, because I've never been before. Like, I've. People's like, People always say it's an experience. And I also really want to try out the Sphere. I've heard the Sphere is unbelievable, so it's okay. Have you been.
A
Yeah.
B
To the Sphere. Really? What'd you do at the Sphere?
A
We went and saw when they were doing, like, the world thing, and, like, it showed, like, all, like, the different.
B
Oh, like, the different, like, elements and stuff, too.
A
But it turned into, like. Like, I thought it was going to be, like, you know, like, Earth, like, that sort of, like, documentary. But it turned out to be more like, like, doomsday climate disaster, like, we're killing the planet. And we were like, oh, that's not what we were expecting.
B
It wasn't like, a mood and a vibe. It was like a. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
A
And then after that, we're actually going on another family trip. We just went on a family trip with Ryan's family to Hawaii.
B
But this time we are lucking out because we are going with Tyler's family, with his mom and his dad and his brother and his brother's girlfriend. And we're going to.
A
We're going to St. Lucia. So we're gonna be staying at Sugar Beach.
B
Yes. Which he did a lot of extensive research.
A
Yeah, My parents. So basically my brother's girlfriend, it's apparently her first time ever being on a plane. Cause my family, my mom had suggested some destinations that were very, very far away, like 30 plus hours traveling. And my brother was like, well, I don't think that's gonna work. Like, she is a little scared and she's never been on a plane before.
B
I feel like that's understandable. Like, if I had never been on a plane and the first flight was 30 hours, I'd be like, I think I'm gonna stay home for this one.
A
So we wanted to pick something close by and it's going to be really beautiful. They have like a three bedroom villas there that are super private, have their own pool. And so we're going to have a lot of fun there. But it's going to be a crazy fucking month because we are moving on May 16th. No, we're having the grand opening on May 13th. And we're supposed to move the weekend right after that. And then. Yeah, May 16th through like May 18th. And then the following week we're going to. To. So you know what?
B
It'll be nice because we'll have a pool party. Oh, yeah, we're supposed to have a party.
A
We're going to have like an open or a housewarming pool party at my new place. So. Busy month. But you know what? We'll have like all busy, busy, busy, busy. And then we'll just get to.
B
Yeah, relax, relax.
A
Are you guys dog, cat dads? Any plans to get a pet together?
B
I'm a dog dad. And now he's a dog dad.
A
And by proxy, by adoption and by love. By love. Yeah. I do love Dory.
B
We will be soon. I don't know how we're gonna do it, but.
A
And then they said, any plans to get a pet together? Yes and no. I'm gonna say originally it was yes
B
because I didn't work in the FBA yet.
A
Well, it was gonna be you taking care of it.
B
Exactly.
A
But I'm saying this is my dog.
B
Yes, it will be your dog.
A
This is my dog.
B
But we'll still.
A
We are a partnership, so.
B
Yes.
A
Somebody said proposal soon. Who's asking? Or who's asking? Who?
B
You know who'd be asking?
A
Yeah, it's up to me to ask. But no sooner.
B
This is only because I asked him out.
A
Yeah. No.
B
And so he said he would do a surprise next, and I've been waiting for that surprise for seven weeks.
A
What's your favorite activity to do together outside of work?
B
Ooh, that's a good one.
A
I would say we like to binge TV shows.
B
We do love a good TV show,
A
but Ryan picked this horrible TV show.
B
It's not horrible. You loved it at the start. I mean, at the start you did not like it. First season and a half you were like, no. But then towards season two, you were like, can we watch it?
A
And then season two through four, I was into it. And then now I'm out of it again.
B
Well, one of the main characters died and then. Oh, it's just that I think it's called Animal Kingdom. Yeah. If you have not heard of it, it's okay.
A
I think the thing is, for me is that we were watching a lot of limited series that were amazing. So it's like six to eight episodes. And like we were just going back to. Back to back with these limited series. And so, like, my huge attention was always there. And then now we're on like a seven season show that's mediocre at best. And so I'm like, I just. It can't end fast enough.
B
But we lucked out because it was during a snowstorm. So we were snowed in. Got to watch all those limited series that were just behind our eyes. His and hers are kids.
A
A part of the five year plan? No. Ten year plan. Maybe not five year. Absolutely not.
B
I love that. How did they get five year? Is that like a thing?
A
Yeah, five year plan, ten year plan.
B
Never heard of that.
A
It's like, where do you see yourself in five years? Where do you see yourself in ten years? That's like a five year plan.
B
Okay. Okay, I see. Got it.
A
Hmm.
B
Are there any good ones?
A
What are your love languages? Ooh, mine to receive.
B
I don't think that is one.
A
No. Mine to receive. You have what your love language is that you like to receive and then what your love language is that you like to give.
B
Oh, oh, okay. Okay.
A
So my love language to receive is probably acts of service. I don't fuck with words of affirmation. Don't tell me nice things about myself. I don't like that. But I don't really like receiving gifts.
B
No, you do not. I try.
A
What are the other ones? Oh, quality time.
B
Quality time.
A
Physical touch.
B
You like physical touch?
A
Yeah, but I wouldn't say it's like.
B
Yeah, but then what are you giving? I think gift giving.
A
I think I like gift giving, and I think I love body time.
B
Yeah.
A
Quality time is both ways. For me, that's one of the most important things.
B
Mine receiving is physical touch, and probably quality time, too. And then I feel like giving would be physical touch. Acts of service and acts of service. Physical touch is definitely one of mine. And I like receiving it, too.
A
Somebody said, who is your favorite fish? I'm not gonna lie. I don't fucking know these fish.
B
You know some of them.
A
I know these fish.
B
You know Dobby. You know Carlos.
A
Yeah, I know the OGs, actually. Yeah. Dobby. Carlos. I was going to say Patricia. She dead?
B
I don't know if we announced that.
A
Oh, she died of old age.
B
She did. It was very sad.
A
She was completely intact, and then she was, like, at the bottom, and we called the fish door.
B
Yeah. Was really sad.
A
Yeah.
B
I think my favorite is.
A
I like the one that goes. I think it's like Zoomy Zumba.
B
Yeah, Zoomy. I like.
A
There's one that goes like this all in the tank.
B
It's like, Cynthia Zuri. That's the Dory fish. I like Zuri.
A
Okay.
B
I think that's its name, but we're horrible.
A
Yeah.
B
Savannah, I'm so sorry. We tried. We really did. Zuri. That's the one.
A
If you guys could live anywhere else, where would you move?
B
Ooh, I feel like mine. I know mine. Mine would be New York City, but not, like, anywhere near Times Square. Like, I could even do, like, Brooklyn. Like, anywhere in New York.
A
If I were to move. I don't know if I. My answer used to be New York. Like, I'd want to live in, like, SoHo.
B
Yeah.
A
But I don't know if that's true anymore.
B
What would it be now?
A
I don't know.
B
I think you'd want, like, something, like, near, like, the beach or something.
A
No, no, I think I'd want to be, like, in the mountains.
B
Oh, okay. Like Colorado.
A
No.
B
Okay. Montana.
A
No. Oh, I don't know. I don't know. Maybe Hawaii.
B
Hawaii would be fun.
A
Like, not on the beach, but, like,
B
in the mountain area.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah, that'd be cute.
A
Ryan, how was it like, transitioning from your old job to become a part of the SBA team?
B
It was hard at first, for sure, because I. I'll talk about this in part two, but it was a lot of work in my last job, and so transitioning and, like, Making sure that all the stuff that I gave to my co workers, that they knew the different tasks I was doing for the different clients that we worked with. So it's been. It was a little bit of a hard transfer, and I've been helping out as much as I can. There's been a lot of tasks that I've been assisting, so I thought it was gonna be different. I thought it'd be like, there we go. But, no, I've been helping, and I have no problem helping. I tell Tyler. I was like, I will do anything for these people. I love them all. And they were great, great, great women. So, yeah, it's been okay.
A
Would you guys have been friends in high school, or did y' all have different vibes?
B
That's a good question.
A
That's a good question. I don't know.
B
I don't know either. I feel like we. I feel like we would have met.
A
I don't think so.
B
You don't think we would have been friends?
A
I mean, maybe I don't think we would have been friends.
B
I'm kind of hurt.
A
I don't mean that in, like, a derogatory way, but I know your archetype for who I had at my high school, and I was not friends with them. Were you friends with any of Mies?
B
Yes.
A
Like, orchestra? Kid. Ap.
B
Like, yes.
A
Interesting. Well, I wasn't. I was too busy. I had my friends who were in my academic, social, like, orchestra. Like, that was my people heard, not personal. I just don't. Like, you know, me. I'm realistic. I'm, like, actually thinking, and I don't think so. Okay, last question for this episode. Hmm. What's something you pretend to understand at work but actually don't?
B
It's.
A
Oh, my gosh. I don't even know if I have an answer to that. If I didn't understand whatever I was doing, we'd be in a lot of trouble at sba. So I'm like, I don't know if.
B
I don't know. I feel like. I feel like the one thing that I struggle with is chemical peels. Like, I don't know a lot about chemical peels, and I feel like we've done a lot of, like, I know about, like, the RDS training that we did, but, like, I don't know. I know we offer a lot of. I don't really know all this. There was photos that you had shown me about the peeling and stuff, and I was like, oh, that was some intense peeling.
A
It was a TCA peel.
B
Yeah. I Don't know what that is.
A
Okay, I got you.
B
Let me know.
A
Something I pretend to know about. Do you have one for me? I think I'm the one person who knows.
B
You look some stuff up on chat and you let chat teach you.
A
Well, if I'm like looking at like some complicated 23 page contract.
B
Yeah.
A
And I'm like, is there anything that's a red flag here?
B
Yeah, that's a good one.
A
Yeah.
B
But I like, you know, but like, you don't have like the.
A
But I do know, but I also just want to make sure that there's no like, legal jargon. But then I also send it to the lawyer. So I just do it as like a. Before I like a cross check before I. I know. Here's the thing. If I don't know, I know who does know. And I know how to get shit done.
B
Yeah.
A
Well, I think that's gonna be it for this episode. We have plenty of questions for a part two, so I think we're gonna roll on over there. We love you guys.
B
We love you all.
A
Have a wonderful Monday. And I think this is coming out two weeks before amspa, so if you haven't signed up to go yet, you're gonna miss out if you don't. This is like, should be there. Savannah's favorite show because it is more medical leaning. And so the be well shows are amazing. Formerly known as iecsc, but they are amazing. They're so fun, so grand and huge. This one's definitely a little more quaint, but if you are more on the medical side, this is a show that is probably gonna have more alignment with your practice. So we hope to see you all there. And yeah. Have a wonderful week. Love you guys.
B
Love you.
