If there's anything evil working here, I pray that you would bind it in Jesus name. And as I say that, he goes and he starts like convulsing. And I'm like, oh, wow, what's happening?
Pastor Jonathan Paclit
Season 10 of my podcast is almost here. My expert guest this season is Pastor Jonathan Paclit. And we are talking about some stuff that people think is pretty scary. Almost everybody has a ghost story or wonders what's really going on with angels and demons. Pastor JP is here to tell us real stories about real people and help you understand with confidence why we don't have to live in fear. And I've also got an extra special guest this season, my son Lev Bury.
Lev Bury
Yay.
Pastor Jonathan Paclit
He finally made it to the podcast. Hi, guys.
Kandice
What? This is like, such a long time in the making. Yeah.
Lev Bury
Thanks for having me, Mom.
Pastor Jonathan Paclit
You're welcome.
Kandice
I love that this is the tenth season. Come on.
Lev Bury
I know we're talking about conversations that sometimes are harder to have.
Kandice
Yeah.
Lev Bury
I think they're kept in the dark.
Kandice
Right.
Lev Bury
And I think it's just amazing that we get to walk into this conversations that the world might hear and really expose what's been hiding in the dark for a long time.
Kandice
We right now, as we sit here and as you guys listen to this or watch this, understand you have a villain. There is a supernatural presence that hates you. That's the bad news, is that there's lots of demons here on earth. The good news is they're outnumbered two to one by God's army. God is infinitely stronger than Satan.
Pastor Jonathan Paclit
If you doubt, talk to God about it. God's not going to be scared of your doubt. It doesn't make him nervous. He's not going to leave you or not love you.
Kandice
Your greatest defense against the enemy is you drawing near to the creator of the heavens and the earth. Because while they are not afraid of you, they are terrified of him.
Lev Bury
You know the funny thing about it is it's actually more like based off of reconciliation. So I'm not even joking. So let's listen. Listen.
Pastor Jonathan Paclit
That was like the pivotal moment. It really changed for us after that talk. It's a whole different scenario when your kids sit you down to have a talk and go, are you being as mature as you can be?
Lev Bury
Dang, you got me emotional right now. I'm trying not to.
Kandice
This is going to be the first podcast I cry in. We had a giant boat of a car that had an eight track player in it. My first cassette tape was New Kids on the Block.

Summary of "Ghosts, Demons, Angels: What’s Really Going On? Season Ten is Coming!" – The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast
Release Date: April 28, 2025
In the highly anticipated tenth season of The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast, host Kandice (Candace Cameron Bure) embarks on a deep and engaging exploration of supernatural phenomena, including ghosts, demons, and angels. This season aims to demystify these often misunderstood topics through authentic conversations, personal stories, and expert insights, fostering a community centered around faith, family, and purposeful living.
Pastor Jonathan Paclit joins Kandice as a primary guest, bringing a wealth of spiritual knowledge and firsthand experiences to the discussion. His expertise provides listeners with a grounded understanding of supernatural entities and the divine forces that counteract them.
Additionally, Kandice's son, Lev Bury, makes his first appearance on the podcast. Lev adds a unique generational perspective, bridging the gap between traditional beliefs and contemporary views on spirituality.
The episode kicks off with Kandice sharing a powerful prayer, setting a reverent and earnest tone for the discussions ahead:
“If there's anything evil working here, I pray that you would bind it in Jesus name. And as I say that, he goes and he starts like convulsing. And I'm like, oh, wow, what's happening?”
— Kandice (00:00)
This opening reflects the podcast's commitment to addressing heavy and often frightening topics with sincerity and faith.
Pastor Jonathan Paclit introduces the core theme of the season, highlighting that supernatural experiences are common and often shrouded in fear:
“Almost everybody has a ghost story or wonders what's really going on with angels and demons.”
— Pastor Jonathan Paclit (00:19)
He emphasizes the importance of understanding these phenomena to alleviate fear and promote spiritual growth.
A significant portion of the episode focuses on the role of faith in combating fear and evil influences. Kandice articulates a powerful message about the strength found in spiritual closeness to God:
“Your greatest defense against the enemy is you drawing near to the creator of the heavens and the earth.”
— Kandice (01:50)
Pastor Jonathan reinforces this by reassuring listeners that doubt does not alienate them from God:
“If you doubt, talk to God about it. God's not going to be scared of your doubt. It doesn't make him nervous. He's not going to leave you or not love you.”
— Pastor Jonathan Paclit (01:41)
These affirmations serve to empower listeners, encouraging them to seek comfort and strength through their faith.
Lev Bury brings a personal and emotional layer to the conversation. He discusses the significance of open dialogues about spirituality, which are often avoided:
“I think they're kept in the dark and I think it's just amazing that we get to walk into these conversations that the world might hear and really expose what's been hiding in the dark for a long time.”
— Lev Bury (01:12)
The dialogue becomes increasingly heartfelt as Kandice admits:
“This is going to be the first podcast I cry in.”
— Kandice (02:25)
This vulnerability underscores the profound impact these discussions have on both the hosts and guests, highlighting the personal nature of spiritual journeys.
Lev introduces the concept of reconciliation as a foundational element in overcoming supernatural fears:
“It's actually more like based off of reconciliation. So I'm not even joking.”
— Lev Bury (02:00)
This perspective suggests that healing and restoring relationships, whether with oneself, others, or the divine, can diminish the power of negative supernatural forces.
Adding a touch of nostalgia, Kandice shares a personal memory that bridges past and present experiences:
“We had a giant boat of a car that had an eight track player in it. My first cassette tape was New Kids on the Block.”
— Kandice (02:25)
These anecdotes make the discussion more relatable, connecting listeners through shared experiences and memories.
As the episode concludes, Pastor Jonathan invites listeners to stay connected and informed about the upcoming season:
“What we launch next week and we can't wait for you to join us. Go to kandice.com to get email updates so you'll always be the first to know, and click the links to your favorite podcast platforms.”
— Pastor Jonathan Paclit (02:40)
Kandice reinforces the episode's core message with a heartfelt analogy:
“Life is like a roller coaster, but it's so much better when we go through it together.”
— Kandice (02:40)
