B
Hello. I'm now wondering, do I say hello on every single one?
A
I don't know. We'll have to go back and listen. You had a fun night last night.
B
It was a really sweet night. We had a Unite event, a ministry event where thousands of college students came together and it was a really powerful night.
A
How many students are there?
B
About Gosh Last night, I'm not even sure, but typically we have around anywhere from 6 to 8,000. And so it's really. It's really amazing. And it feels like the Lord moves in a new way every single time and shows up differently every single time. And I mean, I had so many encounters with girls coming up, just like breaking down, crying, saying, like, I've been holding onto this unforgiveness for so long, like, will you pray for me? And. And people just confessing sin and going all in. I mean, it just. It was a really powerful night.
A
And did you guys do baptisms?
B
We did, yes.
A
Wow.
B
So that's typically how we've. We've wrapped up every Unite event. Everyone gets fired up about the baptisms.
A
Wow.
B
Yeah.
A
And are they in the arena? Are you doing them in the back of trucks? Are you pulling out little. Little baby pools or.
B
Baby pools or just like some little, like, tubs or something like that, but some type of, you know, portable situation. The trucks are. Are fun and the water is typically freezing. And so every person who, like, steps in. It's like a shock, but. But yeah, it's really cool. It feels like the most just like authentic, real. It's like, hey, we're just in a truck. A truck bed. Like, let's get baptized. Why not?
A
Do you feel that there is a revival or an energy amongst college students now? And can I even say, since the death of Charlie Kirk is. Does it feel different?
B
Yes. I think that there was already a hunger before then. I think that in the last. I've even just seen, specifically in being a part of Unite, in the last couple of years, there's been such a hunger and desperation for something that's real, for something that's true, for something that will last. And I think that these students have been fed so many opinions and have been honestly just so brainwashed by just so many different sources and outlets. And it's like, what can I trust? What's real, what's true? And I think that you're just seeing these students say, like, I'm just ready for. I don't want to feel empty anymore. I don't want to feel confused anymore. I want to. I want to feel hope. I want to feel purpose. I want to know why I'm here. I want to know what's true about me and what's true about God and eternity and all of the questions that we have. And. And so you just see that hunger. You see like a zeal. So when it's really been so easy, like at the end when we do a moment of like, do you want to go all in? I mean, you see a floodgate open of just college students coming forward saying, yes, I want to go all in. I'm tired of going to the same wells that leave me empty. Like, I want to find something that's actually going to satisfy and lead me to true life. And I do think that with all that happened around the Charlie Kirk death, that it's, it's led, I think a lot of us to face the question of just, you know, what happens after we die and what's true about eternity and where do I stand with God and are God and I good and do I live my life on purpose and mission? Like he had a mission and a purpose for his life. And clearly a lot of people were impacted by what he, he did and what he stood for. Do I live my life in such a way? So I do think it's, it's struck something in a lot of people and affected a lot of people.
A
Me too. No way. Yeah. I'm so excited about those UNITE events. It's been so interesting to learn about them and hear about them.
B
I know we're praying one comes to California. We're just, we're like, yeah, we come out near you. California, really, California needs it. My husband, I think we were joking. My husband went to UC Santa Barbara for his first year before he, he got a career ending injury and couldn't play basketball anymore. And it's, I'm pretty sure, the number one party school. So come on, we need to make UC Santa Barbara happen.
A
We do, we do. Let me know how I can help. Okay. Our first listener question is from Nicole today. And she writes, I find myself having so many passions and then when I go to pursue them, I struggle, I become discouraged and I just want to give up. Anytime I pray about it, I feel lost. How do I know that I'm going in the right direction or asking God the right thing? So it's a little bit of a two part question in that she feels discouraged when. Because you don't really know what to pursue or maybe you don't know what you're passionate for yet. But then you want to know how does that work with prayer? And we're going to be talking about prayer today.
B
Yeah, I know I would be curious your thoughts on that. You have so many gifts and talents and I'm assuming, passions as well.
A
Has there been, I would say passions over gifts and talents. Passionate about a lot of capacity is crazy and amazing.
B
But I would Say, like, how have you not? Like, I genuinely would love to know, because I found myself in this position, you know, of. Of saying, like, how do I navigate all the things that I want to do? And I would say this generation is probably marked by ambition and paralyzing anxiety for feeling like there's so much out there. What do I do? How do I maximize my life? How do I do something big and awesome and great? And it can feel overwhelming. So how have you stewarded, you know, your gifts and talents? How do you navigate that? And has there been a moment where you felt discouraged?
A
Yeah. Well, I can come from two perspectives, because I think some of us are innately, we are passionate about certain things, and we know this is my calling in life. I'm an artist. I'm a painter. I love cars. I want to fix them for the rest of my life, you know, whatever that is. And then there's. There's some of us that just. We don't know. And I think that's a lot of people. And especially if you're a young person, I don't know how young you are, Nicole. I don't know if you're high school or you're college, but there's so many people that are just trying to figure out, my kids included, what are they passionate about? And. And so in that sense, I would say choose something but follow through with it. Because you said you want to give up, you get discouraged. Now there, as a parent, I'm going to tell you whether you're 5 years old or you're 25 years old, like, if you start that ballet class, you're going to finish the season. If you decide you don't like it after the second lesson, you. It doesn't matter. We're going to finish the class and the course. We're going to go through it. And at the same way, at whatever age, if you are wanting to pursue something, you got to stick with it long enough to know that, hey, I'm not gifted in this area, or it's actually, I thought I might be passionate about it. I'm really not. But you might be quitting too early because maybe it's too hard for you, or maybe it's just more challenging or. Or time consuming that you thought it would be. So as a mom, I'm going to push you to go pay for the course, pay for the program, stick through it, and at the end of it, if you decide, yep, this one isn't for me. The great move on, find another thing next in line. Yeah, I Think it's also helpful to just hang out with a lot of people that do a lot of different things, because you never. You might not know what is available to you that you might become passionate about, because you never hung out with someone that was in media, and then you're like, oh, I didn't know that I could actually be a social media manager. Like, I'm. I love spending time on Instagram. I love hanging out with people. But there's a job for that. Yeah, there's lots of jobs for that. I need you, by the way.
B
You're like, and I'm hiring pitch. This is my pitch.
A
So that's what I would say about pursuing a path, a passion, and becoming discouraged.
B
That's a good message, because I think that's a message that our generation needs to hear more of, of just sticking to what you start, finishing what you start. I really do think that we have commitment issues in this generation. We have a fear of there being something better, whether it comes to relationships or job and purpose. And so we're really scared to commit to something. It's like, oh, if I fully commit to this and that, what if. What if there's something. What if I miss what? You know, what if God had. And previous generations just. There. There wasn't all of that because it was just like, yeah, I'm gonna. I'm gonna be a teacher. Like, that's right.
A
My dad was a teacher. I'm gonna be a teacher. But you just follow the. The line. But, yeah, there's so many options now
B
that it can feel paralyzing and overwhelming. And I think we put this pressure on ourself that it has to be perfect and right and big and. And forever. Like, and just take the pressure off. Like, I love what you're saying of be faithful with what you start and try new things. Surround yourself with people who do a bunch of different things so you can learn and kind of see what they're doing and see if it's something you're interested in. But, you know, don't live your life led by fear of, like, I'm going to do this because. Or I'm not going to do this because what if I'm going to miss something else? Like, go for it, try it and stick it out.
A
Yeah. And now the back half of that question, which is what we're going to talk about today. She says, how do I pray about it? How do I know that I'm going in the right direction or asking God the right thing? So let's just Dive into prayer, because I think we're going to answer her question within our conversation today. How has prayer changed your life? Because you talked about, in the episodes about the conviction in your life and, and choosing God, focusing on him, whether it's here and now, within the world, making those, the. The choices to be in the world, not of the world, having an eternal purpose. How does prayer fit into all of that in your life?
B
Yeah, prayer is my favorite way to connect with the Lord. It is my favorite thing. It is the most intimate moment that we have. And I think that's. So many of us are intimidated by prayer because maybe we haven't been taught the power of prayer or the. The posture of how. How to pray, or we make it a little bit more about us. It's like, oh, I've got to have the right words. It's got to be formal. I've got to say the right things. And the Lord's not looking for formality. Like, he just wants your heart. He just wants a relationship with you.
A
And.
B
And then when you study the Scriptures, you just see, like, even turning to Luke 17, it gives you so many different parables on prayer. And he even gives this parable of the persistent widow, and he's like, hey, this is a picture of how I want you to pray. And the summary takeaway is, never stop praying. Keep coming back with the same prayers again and again and again. Don't give up. Just keep praying. And I heard a pastor say once, this acronym called push Pray until something happens. And I haven't forgotten that. And so even just like, praying very specific with God, but also using it as just a time to connect with him. Not just using it as, this is our time so that I can get something from you, God, but this is a time where I just want to be with you, God. I just want to spend time in your presence. I want to worship you. And for me, it has been something I've grown into. Like, I would say at a young age, I had a radical faith. Like, there was nothing that my God couldn't do. And I believed with such faith. Like, if someone was sick, I would go up, lay hands on them, be like, oh, right now, God will heal you. Let me pray this prayer of, you know, of healing over you, and just pray that God would heal you right now in this moment. And then I would say middle school and high school. I kind of lost that, like, fire and faith. I started caring a lot more about what people thought about me. And that fear of man started creeping in. So then I was like, well, I. I'm. Now I'm a little nervous to pray out loud because what if I say the wrong thing or like it. It doesn't flow well, or I blank and I forget what I'm saying or whatever it may be. And as I've started to get back into it, it was really this. I got invited to be a part of my old church, did this thing called 21 days of prayer and fasting. And it started at 6am and I remember someone was like, hey, do this with me. And I was like, so get there at 6am and then you pray for a full hour. I'm like, what am I going to say to God for an hour? That is a long time to just sit there. Like, I got minutes in me. But then after that, I mean, I'm just gonna be twiddling my thumbs, like I don't know what else to say to him. And honestly, we started out, I started out those 21 days and it was a little awkward at first. It was like, I don't really know what to pray.
A
Were you praying with other people or you're by yourself, individual?
B
So like, you get there with the church, it's a communal thing. But then everyone kind of like has
A
their own, their own space and you just. Their own space.
B
You can kind of walk around or you can go, you know, to the front, or you can kind of pick a corner of the church. You, um. It was very informal, but just a communal yet individual thing. And I at first felt really awkward. Just like, you know, maybe on a first date where you're like, I don't really know. I don't know what to ask. I don't know what to say. Like, it's a little awkward. We don't know each other that well yet. But then as I continued to show up at 6am and I made it a discipline and I really was seeking like, lord, I want to know you better. I want this relationship to be strong. I want to pray with, with power. I want to believe that you are who you say you are and you will do what you say you will do. I want to be as close to you as possible and just take this time to even just like worship you and thank you for all that you are and all that you've given me. And you know, would you. Would you know it that by the end of the time, I mean, an hour wasn't enough, I was like, I could do three more hours. And even to this day, it is my favorite way to connect with the Lord, and, and I just think that sometimes it does start out as a discipline before it turns to delight like you. Really? That's encouraging to start out as just like, hey, I'm going to set aside, like practically, I'm going to set aside this time to, to pray. And I always encourage people to pray out loud just as you would like, talk as we would sit here and talk, you know, you, I mean, God can read our minds, of course. But if I just sit here and I try to like pray in my mind, a lot of times, like my mind will start thinking about, you know, that, that chick fil a chicken sandwich. I'll start thinking about my to do list of all the things that I need to do. I'll start. And then all of a sudden I'm like, wait, what, what was I doing again? Sorry, God. Sorry, God let me go back there. And I, I'm really sidetracked. And so for me it's looked different in different seasons. But, you know, finding a place, finding a posture and, and, and, yeah, and just like, and talking out loud and communing with him. Talking, listening, worshiping, praying scripture. I mean, that's kind of what it, it's looked like, but it's been an ever evolving thing, you know, like, what would you say? What is, what is your prayer life look like right now? And how is that different than how it looked following Jesus?
A
I'll be the first to say, and you can be my accountability. You and all the people listening, they're
B
all going to call us up.
A
I, I desire in. Let's call it starting now or this new year. This new year, it is my prayer to have a deeper sense of a prayer life with God and communicate with him in that way. My prayer life. I love praying and I'm a. Throughout the day, all day, I feel like I'm constantly talking to God, but it's a lot of times it's very casual and I'm always. I just, I just feel like he's with me. Like we're holding arms together and he's just with me all the time. So I'm constantly talking to him, whether that's in my mind or literally out loud because I get accused of. Why are you talking to yourself so much? Like, I'm not. I'm talking to God.
B
The drivers next to me in cars are like, that girl's weird.
A
Yeah. But there's a place where, when I have been in deep prayer over things, it. The communication has been incredible in that I feel a much deeper sense of God's presence. I can hear his voice more clearly and very specifically. And. And I love that. I want to always feel like that every day. Not just about my feelings, but just knowing that I can hear you loud and clear. And I think that I've. In this last year, I've really been in a busy season. And I don't even like that word. I don't like being busy when everyone's like, busy's good. I'm like, no, busy's not good. Because I don't ever want to be too busy for God or my family. But I have had a lot of things going on, and that has been a place where I'm like, I need to regroup and refocus in my prayer life, because it is so important. And yet I've just felt the slow drift of practicing, practicing the presence of God and just listening. And even, like, that's why I'm asking those questions of, like, wait, what did that look like? What's that? 21 Days of Prayer. And because I really desire to do that in a way that feels like a commitment and an effort and not just giving my time to God. When I'm, oh, I'm on an airplane, I have nothing else to do. So I'm gonna pray for an hour or, oh, I have this extra 15 minutes this morning. I'll give that to you, God. I definitely put aside time, but it's like, minimal time. And I know that in my heart that he deserves more, and I want to give him more if. But I desire more of him in that way. So I'm just more of confessing during this episode more than telling you anything practical.
B
No, but that's beautiful. And probably so many people listening are like, I know I should pray more. I just don't know how. And I've had seasons, even entering into motherhood, my prayer life has looked so different than it did before, when I had my prayer closet and my scriptures on the wall and I had the candle lit, and it was this beautiful, quiet, quaint time where I could be on my knees praying out loud for an hour. Like, I had that beautiful set aside time. And then, you know, you enter postpartum, and I'm like, this baby is attached to me 24 7. I'm running on no sleep. I am exhausted. And so my prayer life looked very different in, you know, those first three months when Hosanna was a little baby. And it really just was like, really, what you're saying is just this continual prayer of. It really never stops. It's Like I wake up and I'm just like, lord, I need you today. And then, you know, two hours later and she's screaming, crying, and I don't know why, I'm like, lord, I need you today. And it's just that continual, you know, conversation. But now, you know, as hosanna's gotten a little bit older, it's like, all right, like I want to find like this place and this commitment and this time again, because I do think that having that set aside time but then continuing it throughout the day is so powerful. Like, you see, Jesus would withdraw to like the mountaintops. And so we've got to have those like withdrawal moments. It doesn't mean that throughout the rest of his day as he's doing ministry and going about his day, that he's not staying connected to the Father, you know, but he would have these set aside times to withdraw and to pray. And so there's such a beautiful blueprint of what prayer looks like. Even just looking at the life of Jesus. No one's perfect in this area and I think we all can continue to grow in it.

What I Love I was looking just browsing through the Bible last night and there's so much talk about prayer in the Bible and it starts in Genesis and it's just this automatic. Like Abraham is praying to God and Isaac is praying to God, all of the prophets are praying to God, all of these people. And it's just such a natural thing that people were doing and communicating with God in that way. But it wasn't there wasn't that blueprint. Like when Jesus came into the picture, he's like okay guys, I'll teach you how to pray.
B
Here's the Lord's Prayer.
A
I feel like you Somehow we didn't have to tell Abraham how to pray. He just innately knew it, but I'll just teach you how to pray. Let me remind you, and I love how much prayer is as part of God's story. The entire book of the Bible ever, every single book is, has prayer through it. And I just, I just sat on that for a minute and I'm like, wow, prayer. We know prayer is powerful in words because we say it, obviously the Bible teaches it, but when we look at all the people throughout history that it's like, no, this is how you communicate and talk with me, says the Lord. It's like, this is it. And it reminds me how important prayer life is. So have there, have there been times in your life where prayer life has felt or fell flat?
B
Yeah, I would say even entering into the season of motherhood or seasons where I feel really busy, I think that's one of the biggest kind of excuses that we can all give as humans is just like, I'm too busy, I don't have the time, I don't have the time to pray. And the truth is we can't afford to not pray. I mean that's, that's really our. I love that even the armor of God, it takes you through all these different, you know, weapons, but then it takes, closes with, starts the next sentence with, and pray in the spirit on all occasions and just like never stop praying. And that's kind of that like final piece of armor really that gives us the, the ability to, to like walk in faith and live the life that truly pleases God. It's how we stay connected to him. It's how we connect like the natural to the supernatural and just stay so connected in that way. But it's also so powerful, like we're not meant to, you know, just treat people prayer as this time of getting things off our chest, you know. And I think I, I can enter into those moments sometimes where I'm just like, ah, thanks Lord, just needed to vent for a second. And, and every once in a while it's like totally, you know, like he, he is a safe place. But also having those set aside moments to worship God and thank God, having those moments to pray scripture over yourself, over your family, over your friends, to take time to intercede for other people, for those who don't know Jesus, for those who are broken and stuck in some really bad and harmful situations to pray for leaders who are making big decisions on behalf of our nation and world. And so, you know, when you look through scripture, you see all these different, you know, how to pray and what to pray. But for me, I Love to just start off worshiping and just start off just saying, lord, thank you for who you are. Thank you that you are God, my father. That you call me a daughter, that you call me yours. That I belong to you. Thank you that you are my savior, that you saved me. Thank you, Lord, that you are my healer, that you heal me. Thank you, Lord, that you are my provider. You give me what I need when I need it, that you are the good shepherd, that you lead me and guide me. And I just kind of just take this time just to, like, worship him for who he is, and then I thank him for what he's done. Like, lord, if you don't give me another thing, the cross and the empty tomb is more than enough. Thank you that you have sealed me with your holy spirit, that I have the spirit of the living God living inside of me, and that we get to be on commission together. And I just, like, thank him for what he's done. And then I like to move into a time of just, you know, praying over some needs and some requests and some things that are on my heart and then praying for other people. And so that's kind of like the formula that I. I guess, formula that I like to go through, but it changes. I mean, there. There are moments where it's just like a heartfelt, and then moments where, you know, I was talking about earlier, where it's a discipline before it's a desire. Like, just the other day, I was. I finally had to say. I told Grant, because sometimes it's really hard, I think, at least for me. I don't want to speak for all women, but to say that you, like, need something. And I finally just looked at my husband. I was like, I need a second. Like, I need some time. Will you watch Hosanna? I'm going to go, like, have an hour alone. And I just took that time to pray out loud, and I was just, like, walking and pacing. And first I kind of was just like, thank you, God, for who you are. I love you. You're awesome. Thank you for everything you've given me. Like, I'm just really blessed. I'm really thankful. I'm really. I don't deserve all your good. And it's kind of like it started out like that, but then by the end, I was so filled up and reminded of what mattered. And it. It. That's what prayer is like. Sometimes. It's like you kind of go into it as a discipline, and. And it leads to that moment of feeling so filled up as a Desire, I mean, for you. What is that? So you were talking about how you have this, like, continual conversation with God. What. Yeah. What encouragement would you give of just like, practically. How do you.
A
Well, I. I love what you. You talked about in that. Just the different aspects of prayer, because I think a lot of us can feel like it. It is a to do list or a desire, a want list of like, here are the things I'd like some healing. I'd like more money for groceries. I'd like my kid to get in this school. I'd like, you know, but the worship aspect, and this really is following what the Lord's Prayer is, because when you break it down, it is. It's worshiping the Father and all of that. But I love what you talked about, interceding for other people for prayer. And sometimes that can be uncomfortable too, if you're not used to praying out loud. But I've just forced myself to do that and get more comfortable. I've talked a lot about. On the podcast I had Priscilla Shire on, who's just one of my. She's just ultimate Bible teacher, warrior and incredible. And the words that come out of her mouth. I'm just in awe all the time. And I just have never felt confident in outwardly praying for people, but I just forced myself to do it because, again, it comes from the heart. God doesn't matter if my words aren't as beautiful and flowery as someone else's. It's all coming from my heart. And it is a practice in that you do get better or at least more comfortable over time. I would say that. And so, you know, my husband prayed for me this morning. I was driving here to work. We're not in the same city right now. And I was not feeling my back. I threw my back out. Just hurts. And I said, I'm a little cranky today because my back is just extra hurting today. And so he was like, can I pray for you right now on the phone? And it's just like that. All of a sudden I'm like, like crying, like, yes, please. And there for the person on the other end of receiving that prayer, it just, just the words, can I pray for you? Means so much. And because you're interceding on behalf of someone to God for them, but you're with them in the moment. So I love. I absolutely love that. And I've also found that other practical ways of prayer. I love to write my prayers out, too. I love to. I love to journal. I'm not a huge journaler. Like, I need to write everything about my life and what's going on. But I really, as a note taker, I like to remember because I want to look back on where God has answered, where God has said, no, where God has said, wait. Where God has said, yeah, wait, I need. You need more time on that or maybe whatever those decisions are. But I love writing big and small prayers down. I love being able to go back and put a little check mark or a date by it of when that was answered or reminds me of things I'm going to continue to pray for. And I can look back and go, oh, I'm still praying for some things. And it's been 10 years.
B
Yeah.
A
And I'm still praying for.
B
Yeah, yeah. No, I love that so much, because as much as prayer is powerful, it's also practical. And having a practical prayer plan can really set us up for success in. In being consistent and in being disciplined in pursuing that. And so I love, like my. I talk about in the book, just having a prayer plan and having a posture and having a place. Those three things have truly transformed my prayer life. Knowing, okay, at this time every day, I'm gonna. I'm gonna set aside this time. Okay. This is like the scripture that I want to just pray today and even following the Lord's prayer, but making it your own. Our Father who is in heaven. Okay, let me just sit on that for a second. And just going through that has been transformative. But we're going to pray over your back after this episode.
A
Okay? I. I would love it. I would love it. Well, let's take our question today from Jess, who wrote, I've recently recommitted my life to Christ, and prayer is something I struggle with. It feels like I'm praying to an empty room. How can I work through this to where prayer comes alive? And also, we have a secondary question. Why is it that I. From Tiffany that says, why is it that when I feel like I'm really in the word doing Devo's constant prayer, that the devil is at full strength against me?
B
Okay.
A
Two really good questions. Well, let's take the first one from Jessica. Praise the Lord. You recommitted your life to Christ.
B
Yeah.
A
Thank you, Jesus.
B
Best decision ever.
A
Yeah. Best decision ever. So you struggle with prayer. I would say what we've been talking about is that it's okay for it to be a discipline right now, that. That you just commit to doing it. You're not talking to an empty room. I don't know how to. Would do you have any suggestions on how not to feel that way?
B
I think just the more, the more you, you do it. And just like even praying scripture sometimes, I think sometimes we just don't know what all to say. And so there's just like, okay, like, and what else, God? But it's been really helpful for me to just like pray truth. Like, okay, let me turn to Psalm 34. What does Psalm 34 say? And then just like pray that over. Okay, I'm taking authority over my mind right now. Here's what you know. Ephesians 6 says I have the helmet of salvation. And you just like find scriptures to pray. That's been really helpful.
A
And I love when you put your name in front of it to say Jess, and whatever that scripture is that you're praying that and that it's specific for you. I really like that. But just know that your prayers are not empty. Anything we pray doesn't come back void to God. He hears them and just be diligent in doing it. And so now Tiffany's question. So when you're really in the word, you're doing devos, you're praying constantly. Why does it feel like the devil is at full strength against me? I'm like, because you're a powerful weapon against him. That's why he's threatened now. He is threatened. Anyone who's actively seeking him to know him, to share the Word and the gospel that says he has a. You have a target on your back and there are arrows pointed at you and that will be shot at you. It's just how it works. Anyone that is walking in the Lord is a threat to the enemy. And the thing is, if there isn't any of that, then I would say concerning. Yeah, I would be concerned for you if everything is just really comfortable. Because we're not promised an easy life here, but we're promised that God will be with us through this life every
B
step of the way. Amen.
A
And so don't get scared over it that you feel like you're being attacked. I've been through so many seasons of that. Just keep praying and keep walking in it. And just know that you're probably doing some really amazing eternal work on earth right now if you feel attacked by the devil.
B
So good. And Scripture reminds us that greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world. And Jesus says, I have given you all authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the evil one. And so we actually have the spirit of the Living God on the inside of us. And we get to walk in that authority, knowing that he's greater. He's so much greater than the enemy that is against us. But we have to. James 4. 7 says, Submit to God and resist the devil. So it's a submission to the Scriptures, a submission to his lordship, a submission to his spirit, and then saying, enemy, in the name of Jesus, you cannot come near me. And resisting him. And he. It says he will flee.
A
Yeah. This is great. Thank you.
B
So good prayer. Let's pray.
A
We should. We should pray for our audience right now. Can we pray for them?
B
Absolutely.
A
Okay, wait.
B
You got it or you want me to get it?
A
Okay.
B
Father God, thank you for this conversation. Thank you for every single person under the sound, sound of my voice right now. Lord, you see them. You see them right where they're at. The questions that they have, the sins that they're stuck in, the lies that they're believing, the weights that they're carrying. You see it all. You love them. You want more of them. You want a relationship with them. And I just pray right now that every single person listening would just cast their cares before you, their anxieties before you, their words, worries before you. And as they breathe out all that they're feeling and caring, that they would just breathe in your peace, your hope, your truth. And I pray, Lord, that you would draw near to them, that you would just. That they would have an encounter with you, that they would experience more of you, that your holy spirit would fill them and empower them to live the life that you died to give them, that they would live a life worthy of the calling, Lord, that they are called to. They are here for such a time as this, Lord. You have a prayer purpose for their life, and you want to see them walk out that life to the fullest and with joy and with peace. And so, Lord, I pray blessing over every single person. And I thank you, Lord, for them and for who you are and for what you've done. We love you and it's in your name, Jesus. Amen.
