Kyle Thompson
Hey, Shane here.
Shane Everett
And Shane, you're listening to the Daily Blade. So we're gonna be your guests all week.
Kyle Thompson
Come on.
Shane Everett
It's gonna be amazing. And we're gonna do a little singing, which is different, but we're pumped about it. And we're gon be going through the psalms all week. All week. And today we're going to be hitting Psalm 34. So enjoy.
Kyle Thompson
If you need the words, they're there for you. Let's just sing this chorus. Magnify, magnify.
Shane Everett
The Lord with me. Come exalt his name together. Glorify the Lord with me. Come exalt his name forever.
Kyle Thompson
There is so much in Psalm 34. Every time I. I sing it or look at it, it's I. I feel like I get something else out of it. And so often when we sing it or when I'm. We're about to sing it, I just read it and I. I feel like that's a really great way to just allow the Spirit of God to just say what the Spirit wants to say to you today. So I'm going to read the first 10 verses or so and then we're going to sing it. So here we go. Psalm 34, verse 1. I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord. Let the humble hear and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me. Let us exalt his name together. For I sought the Lord and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all of his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and delivers them. O taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. O fear the Lord, you saints. For those who fear him have no lack. The young lions suffer want and hunger, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Let me reiterate that last verse with Romans 8:32. He who did not spare his own son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Young lions suffer Want and hunger. But those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Well, he who didn't spare his own son, he gave him up for us all. How much more with him also will he not graciously give us all things? There is no lack for those who know Jesus. You might feel lack, but there is no lack. Everything that you are looking for is found in Christ Jesus, your Lord. And so we're gonna sing, we're gonna magnify him. We're gonna cling to some of these lines, you know, even as we sing it, I can see maybe you're dealing with shame today. And you hear the voices we the line as we sing. Those who look to him are radiant. Their faces shall never be ashamed. Just ask him for that. Ask him that your face would be radiant, that he would take away your shame today with what he did on the cross for you. He died for it. And maybe when we sing, this poor man cried and the Lord heard him and saved him out of his troubles. Maybe that's your prayer, so you can turn it right back up to the Lord and just pray it. Lord, I'm poor today. I'm the poor man. Would you save me out of my trouble today? And he is that for us. He is. He is there for us to cast our cares upon him. And he is available and can handle all of it. And so as we magnify him, we still can come to him in prayer. So can we do it together? Let's sing this Psalm 34. I sought the Lord and he answered me I saw the Lord.
Shane Everett
And he answered me and delivered me from every fear. Those who look on him are radiant. They'll never be ashamed. Never be ashamed. This four men cried and the Lord heard me and saved me from my enemies. The Son of God surrounds his saints. He will deliver them. He will deliver them. Magnify, magnify the Lord Come exalt his name together Glorify the Lord with me Come exalt his name forever oh tast and see that the Lord is good oh, blessed is he who hides in you Fear the Lord, Lord oh, fear the Lord oh, you sa he'll give you everything Give you everything Magnify the Lord with me Come exalt his name together forever Glorify the Lord with me Come exal his name forever Forever.

Amen.
Kyle Thompson
Amen. Amen. Thank you so much, friend. Brother, sister. We're running sick here, but that's okay. We can still sing. Still go for it. We can still go for it. You know, the only one that I know in life that doesn't lose his voice when he gets sick is Shane Everett here. He only has lost his voice one time that I can remember, and I kicked him off the stage.
Shane Everett
You did.
Kyle Thompson
You kicked me off the stage. You're like, get out of here. It was one time. I'm serious. Over all the years. But he was trying, I was trying. It was so bad. It was no good. Like, go try somewhere else. Yeah, just turn the mic off, you know? So thank you so much for joining us, for having the faith to just show up, bring your voice and your heart to the Lord. And our hope and our ask is you bring it back tomorrow. We'll be here and we're going to see what God does in our lives as we sing to him. Have an awesome day of worship.
