Welcome back. Well, once again we have Counterspy addressing a very big contemporary issue. In this case it's the whole question of juvenile delinquency, which we have seen addressed over and over again in post war old time radio programs, which does illustrate how top of mind this issue was. Now, of course it's a fair question to wonder what Counterspy is doing involved, but they answered that in the episode as the woman who brought the problem to him acknowledged that this wasn't really Counterspy's job and he said, you know, juvenile delinquency is all of our concerns. So essentially jurisdiction. You do hope that if Peter's expense account is ever questioned that Harding will resolve that from for him. Because you know, if you have an auditor saying, okay, well I'm looking at these expenses, what's this $105 item that? Oh that? That's just to buy juvenile delinquents bicycles. Once you get beyond the technical nice and ease, I think it was a pretty interesting episode, although some of the kids were Talking more like 30s gangsters for some reason. But the idea of Whitey being the gang leader and essentially being a bit of a loser. Not, as was often the case, some sort of representative of some big organization, but rather just some young guy who could not catch on with any actual criminal organization trying to make himself a big man by getting kids into crime.
