Too many men want the promotion, platform, title, opportunity, or breakthrough without becoming the kind of man who can carry it. But God is not just interested in where you are going; He is interested in who you are becoming. Through Scripture, they show that Christian growth requires both God’s power and your effort. Faith is not passive. It is taking God at His word, acting accordingly, and making every effort to add goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, affection, and love to your life.

This episode gives men three mentalities for the development process: consider it joy, praise God at all times, and play your part. That means learning to see suffering as training, worshiping Jesus for who He is even when life is hard, and caring more about God’s mission than your own reputation. This is where masculinity, humility, strength, and faith come together. If you want to live with purpose, stop asking God to bless your plan and start asking what He wants. When a man becomes submitted and determined, strong and humble, powerful and warm, he becomes the kind of man God can trust, develop, and use.
