Get you a glimmer of hope, a dose of happiness, or an infusion of joy right here, right now. Welcome to the Joy Broadcast. Welcome to the Joy Broadcast. The last couple of episodes I've been talking about manifestation. The first one, the part one, shared how I manifested quite by chance, and I didn't really know that I was manifesting until five or six years later. I look back and thought, oh, I have my own manifesting blueprint. This is what I do. Last week's podcast on the Joy Broadcast, I talked about the science behind how and why manifesting actually works and why it feels a little bit like magic. I hope you love them. Today I wanted to share with you another conversation about manifestation. I hadn't thought that I was going to carry on talking about manifestation, but you know what? It's one of my favorite topics of conversation. What I talk about an awful lot with many of my clients and especially inside the Love Club. And I led a live because once a month we do a Love Club live where we all get together and we have a conversation about a particular topic. And obviously it was November and It was the 1111 portal. And all the way through my life, ever since I was little, I've always loved money patterns. I don't know why. I just always have, especially 1111. I always used to think there was an angel around and I just thought, oh, let's talk manifestation on 1111. And then of course, you go onto social media and you realize that it's an absolutely incredible portal for manifestation. So I thought, right, well, let's have a conversation. But as with any of my trainings, I always really think about what is the purpose, what do I want everybody to go away with, what do I want them to feel, what do I want them to believe, how do I want them to go Away feeling. And my real feeling and sense for this Love Club live in November was I really want people to walk away feeling an incredible confidence in their own manifesting ability. I've shared my stories, I've shared how I amplified it, but I really wanted to open up the conversation. And I asked a few powerful questions and led a beautiful conversation with the ladies in the Love Club. But I thought, you know what? I don't want keep it hidden. I think this is worth you all getting your diaries out and to help you bring a bit more joy when maybe you're feeling a little bit frustrated with the whole manifestation process or if, even if you're just, like, opening up your ideas to manifestation. Like one of the ladies in the Love Club, she just said, this is all new to me. And you know what? I remember when it was new to me too. I remember somebody handing me the secret back in 2014, and I didn't even read it for a year, but when I did, I was like, oh, my goodness, why did I not know about this before? So if that's you, I'm so excited that you're about to embark on this journey, because it's like once you've started, you can't really stop. So let's start there. I believe that we're already masters of manifestation, whether you know it or not, because we've been doing it our whole life. We've manifested our current existence. And what I really want to do, as I did with the ladies of the Love Club earlier this week, I really want to help you build your own confidence in what you can create next, what you can create by the end of this year, 2020, as I'm recording this, we're something like six weeks left to go. Whether it's something that you want to manifest in 2026 or in the next decade. I wrote a post recently in another community that I'm part of as well, because I was inspired by watching the wonderful Nick. Apologies, I've forgotten his surname, but Nick from Traitors in Celebrity Traitors. I've been hooked like most of the nation and here in the uk, but it reminded me of when I first fell in love with him and his character in Ted Lasso. And it reminded me of that wonderful sign that Ted put over the door of the changing room. Do you remember if you were a fan of Ted Lasso? If you've watched it or not, go and watch it. If you haven't, do yourself a favour, Binge watch it. It's amazing. Believe on a yellow piece of Paper with blue writing, it just said believe. Simple big letters. But it had such a profound impact. And if you go back and watch the clips where he talks about it, because really what Ted was trying to say was that believing you can do something is going to be the thing that gets you halfway there to actually having it in reality. The easy bit is the doing, it's the getting your mind behind the belief. Because what we really are are real forensic accountants of our own failures. Don't you love that line? I don't know where that came from, but the fact that we are forensic accountants, maybe it's because my sister in law is a forensic accountant and my husband is an accountant, but we really are forensic accountants of our failures. We go and have a look at everything, we look backwards at what we haven't done, what we messed up, where we fell short, where we failed, where we fucked up. And you know what, I'll put my hands up to that one as well. But I also, while I was doing my bit of research to plan out the session, came across an amazing quote online that I love and I wanted to share it with you. And it became kind of like the pinnacle piece of what we were talking about in the session. And I'm going to repeat it for you now. A pattern I've noticed in successful people. They're all a little bit delusional about their abilities. They're not arrogant, just unreasonably optimistic about what they can figure out. It's a bit like Ted Lasso, right? While everyone else is listing reasons why something won't work, they're already trying it. Half the time they're wrong, but the other half changes their lives. Reasonable people don't build unreasonable lives. I think you have to be a little bit bonkers, a little bit delusional to really create it. And I've definitely embraced that this year. My word for 2025 was delusional dreams. And every single day I go to the magical redwood under which I wrote the magic Manifesting and the Manifest it program and it whispered my big delusional dreams. What would be my big delusional dreams coming true today, this month, this week? And I whisper it and it just, it's just a fun little practice. But do you know what? It's just trying it, trying anything. I'm also a generator, three, six in my human design. So I'm all about trying it out in the field, failing just as much as I succeed. But it's actually often in the failures and the getting it wrong. I work out How I'm going to get it right. I no longer worry about failing or getting it wrong. This whole unreasonably optimistic, that's what I love. That's, you know, that's the whole game of life. Just be unreasonably optimistic and don't get too pessimistic or upset when it goes wrong. So that was really kind of like the big lead in to what I wanted to share with my lovely ladies of the Love Club. And I took them through five questions because this was really the questions that I asked myself to remind myself what an awesome master manifesto I am, but also for you to really fill into the fact that you are too. And I started with the first question. What were your dreams? Or what did you imagine when you were younger? And you might imagine all the way back to when you were, you know, sub 10. It might be when you were a teenager or even as a young adult. What do you remember? You might not remember many of them. Some of the ladies in the Love Club couldn't until I started sharing what mine were. But what were your aspirations? What did you think of? You know, when we explored this, a lot of things happened and we shared, you know, I shared my childhood dreams of being a teacher, an artist, a writer, finding my king of hearts. I remember sitting on my dorm room door with my friend Zee and we would play cards, and it was always a race to find who could find the king of hearts or the king of diamonds. And we were just like, we will find our king. We were so cute. One of the ladies in the Love Club, she shared how she wanted to run a chip shop. Not necessarily because of the chips, although she did love chips, but because she wanted to serve people and make them happy. And at the time, chips, they were the epitome of happiness, you know, One of the other ladies realized that she'd been manifesting success and achievement from a really young age. She was so focused on being head Girl by working hard to please others, and she became head Girl. You know, the revelation through this conversation was that many of us are living versions of those childhood dreams, but just not necessarily in the way we expected. You know, I said I wanted to be a teacher. I'm not a teacher in the classroom like I thought I would be, but I definitely share concepts through my coaching. I've written many courses, and I teach my principles and strategies and my own codes. I'm an artist. If you follow me on Instagram, you will see that my artistry comes through my images. I love taking photographs all the Time. And I write. I write a blog, I write posts. Every day, I write in my journal. I'm in the process of writing my book. If you're on my email newsletter, you'll find out about that soon too. So it's just recognizing that you know as well the lady who wanted to run a chip shop. She does serve people and she does make them happy, just not with chips. So my question to you is, go back and have a look at what your dreams were when you were younger and which ones of those have come true, even if they haven't come true in the way that you thought they were, what parts of it did. When you've done that, we can move on to number two. Question two. Where are you living the reality of what was once a dream you never thought was possible? What dreams have come true that you thought were never possible? Where did you think it would take a miracle? Because this is where it gets really powerful. But when you look at your life right now, you're living someone else's wildest dream, possibly even your own from many years ago. You know, I talked about the fact that I never thought it would be possible for me to be happy again after having my heart broken after betrayal. I didn't think that we'd be able to have children after losing a baby, our first baby, it was taking such a long time to have another one. I never thought that I would be paid to do something that I loved. I never thought I'd be able to be paid for happiness and joy. Many people told me they dream stole that one. I never thought that I would be a millionaire in my own making. But yet James tells me that I am apparently several times over. I never knew that, you know, ladies in the love club shared that once upon a time she doubted that she would be allowed to take her daughter from home. She thought it was crazy that they even she'd just given birth to this gorgeous little child, that they wouldn't allow her to take it home. But yet now she's a confident mother and she's an active participant in her family life and has gorgeous grandchildren too, who she looks after regularly. You know, another lady also talked about leaving her career and she never thought that she'd be able to find fulfillment on her own terms. She never thought that that would be possible. But yet here she is. She thought the world would come crashing down if she left her corporate job. But yes, it hasn't. And she's building an incredible new life for herself and her family. Another lady shared the fact that they bought a derelict farm while they were running another business. And she never thought that they'd be able to turn that into their home or into an incredibly flourishing business, but it actually did during COVID and that was something that she thought was absolutely impossible when she started making those big moves. So the truth of this question, if you actually go back and ask yourself, where are the dreams that you thought were impossible, or my own impossible, where have they come true? Because the truth is probably that you've already manifested impossible things already. So those impossible things, those. The delusional dreams that you have in your mind, you've already done it, but you probably aren't giving yourself that credit. So can you do that so that it can build that belief? Let's go back to Ted Lasso and the belief that you can again and again and again, just sit with that for a while, maybe pause this podcast and just take that belief on. You can manifest the impossible because you've already done it, so why can't you do it again? And then we can move on to number question three in the miracle of the dream coming true. When you think of those dreams coming true, what was down to you? What did you do? What actions did you take? What were your beliefs? What were your attitudes? What were your thoughts? And then ask yourself what was down to magic or synchronicity or perhaps even an act of God, if that's what you believe. Because this question is going to reveal your incredibly unique manifesting blueprint. It really is. You know, when. When I think of that, I think of my king of hearts when I was that young little girl on my dorm room floor with my playing cards. You know, I definitely played the field through my university days and kissed a fair amount of frogs, but in doing so, I found out what I liked and who I liked and who I like to spend time with, who I wanted to have fun and play with. And I was totally to anything happening. And maybe it was an act of God that made the snowstorm that day, maybe it was just pure synchronicity that it just so happened that that fog came down and the snowstorm came in and there was only me and one other man with a very cute bottom on that snow, snowy mountainside. And I followed him and it turned out to be my best friend's brother. That was James. Bit of both, wouldn't you say? I chose to follow that gorgeous bottom and it just happened to be somebody I knew. I think about Tom. And when I didn't think that I was going to be able to have a baby. I remember working with my grief counselor, and the two things that we worked on. Number one was gratitude. Being so grateful, I first understood the power of gratitude through that practice, Writing down every day what I was grateful for, Focusing on what I had rather than what I didn't have. And then the second she started to help me learn how to visualize, we realized I couldn't. Initially, she was like, can you see in your mind's eye this? And I would be like, no, I can't. And so we worked on it, and we realized that I could only visualize when there were moving parts. I could visualize, like, watching a movie, but I couldn't visualize things or static images, but so I could start to imagine walking up and down my village high street, pushing a pram, carrying a baby. And literally, after just a week or two of imagining that, nine months later, on Christmas Eve, I was walking. My gorgeous. Always makes me choke up that bit. But I remember walking so vividly, the dream coming true with Tom in his beautiful little bear outfit, grinning up at me because he was such a happy baby. And I was like, oh, dreams do come true. And I believed in it. But the action that I took was I had the belief that it was possible. I was grateful for what I had. And I did the visualizations every day and the believing. And then, well, all childbirth is an act of God. It's a miracle, isn't it, really? I think it was also the minute that I let go of when and how. I remember vividly just saying to myself, do you know what? I know that in five years time or whatever, I know that I'm here on this planet to have a family. I don't care how and I don't care when. I don't care whether it happens naturally, whether we need a bit of help, whether we need a lot of help, or whether we need to adopt. I just know that we will have a family. And the minute I let go of the how and the when, that was when Tom was conceived. It was through fun and love and play. The other stories that the ladies, you know, shared with me, you know that the farm story, this wonderful lady in the love club, she maintained unwavering belief, and she took action even without the evidence that it was going to work. You know, she told the story of how they break ground. They literally put the shovel to the ground. Even when they didn't have the money to fund it, she kept going. When everything looked absolutely impossible. Even when Covid came along, she thought that that was Going to destroy their business, but actually it made it flourish. You know, that's manifestation. It's optimism plus action, even when you don't know it's going to happen. That's faith. Faith in the unseen, belief in the unseen and doing it anyway. You know, the pattern that we're talking here in question three is half the equation is you belief in action and attitude and half the magic and the other. Sorry, and the other half is the magic. It's the synchronicity. It's divine timing. It's timing, it's intervention. It's. It's all of it. I love one of Esther Hicks practices from her book Ask and Believe. And in the back, I remember doing this many times and I often still do it when I'm feeling a bit stuck or a bit peed off at things aren't happening quick enough. And I divide my page in half and I write down on the left all the things that I can do for to make sure that my manifestation or my dream is going to come true. I. I can do this. I can think this, I can believe this. I can visualize this. This is what I'm committing to. I'm devoted to it. What can I do? These are the people I can call. This is where I can ask for help. This is what I can do physically in this realm, in this 3D world. And I've got to put my big girl pants on sometimes to make those calls. On the right hand side, I give an invitation. I offer up an invitation and say, this is what I trust that the universe will do. Sometimes I even ask my mum, and for those of you who aren't aware, my mum died 10 years ago. But she is an incredible supporter beyond the grave. And I ask her, you know, can you bring me this? Could you do this? Could you make sure that this reaches these right people? Please do this. Show me what I need to know. You know, it's what can I ask for that I need help in. In something I can't see. Half the equation is you and half is magic and you need both. Question 4. What are your dreams now? What are your dreams now? When was the last time you, you played the dream game? Big or small? Whether they're big delusional dreams or just small dreams. Whether they're completely unrealistic dreams or whether they're easy to reach dreams, whether they're incredibly specific, like you know exactly what it is that you want and how you want it. Whether it be a home or a handbag or even a man or Is it abstract? Is it just blobs on a canvas but you know it's going to be just wonderful when it arrives? Or is it watercolour? There's a wonderful lady in the Love Club who paints the most beautiful paintings. And they're not watercolour, but they remind me of watercolors because they are just beautiful colours that give you an incredible feeling. And that feeling can sometimes be wonderful, or it could be love, or it could be happiness, it could be joy, you know, it could be peace, it could be gratitude. Any of it. What are your dreams? Paint the picture in your mind. Feel the feeling in your heart. You know, we. We explored the difference between those different dreams, you know, all the specific dreams that people had in the Love Club. Somebody wants to run a retreat in Bora Bora. Some people have just abstract dreams of just feeling fulfilled or joyful or connected or wanting to travel, don't care, don't know where. But that's the images that they've got in their abstract paintings or their watercolors of beaches and seas and palm trees or maybe sandy beaches, or maybe it's mountains. The watercolor dreams of just the energy, not needing everything in a detail, but knowing the feeling, the essence and the energy of what it is that you want. Because that's where the magic lies, I think. I think so many people get hung up on needing to know exactly what it is that they want, whereas really, it can be just a feeling. Just go back to my first session on manifesting. I just said, I want to be happy. I didn't care how or when or who or what it was. I just wanted the feeling. So one of the ladies talked about her dream of a Bora Bora retreat. Somebody else was talking about the fact that they want to run day retreats from their home and run lovely walking retreats. I shared. It was obviously a theme, but I also shared my vision of Joy Fest. It was actually one of the ladies in the group who came up with a name, because I didn't want to call it a retreat, because I don't necessarily believe in helping my clients have a retreat from their life. What I want people to do and what I really want to help people who come into my world love their life without needing to have a retreat from it or having to escape from it, to be able to find the joy in every day. So it's. My vision was really of Joy Fest. When I get to a certain number of people in the Love Club, then I'm going to be inviting everybody to Our home to celebrate joy in our beautiful gardens and to have a lot of fun. That was mine. Somebody else shared that they wanted to publish, you know, their love letters from home as a book. You know, love. Oh, it's so beautiful. She led us through this wonderful series. She's a feng shui consultant. She led us through this wonderful nine day series of love letters from our homes and what we could do to support our home so that it could support us more. Honestly, it was just the most beautiful, beautiful series. Anyway, she wants to publish that as a book because the feedback from everybody within the group was just like, yeah, you need to do that. It was beautiful. So really what I want you to take away from question four is that you don't necessarily need to know the how or the when, but it's just play with the dream. Play with the dream of the feeling. Play with it. Paint the picture, keep coming back to the picture. Add bits, take bits. It's okay to change. Just play with the dream. Keep a list. And some will come true and some won't. And that's okay. Go back to that quote at the beginning. 50% may come true and 50% won't. But wouldn't it be amazing if 50% of your dreams came true? Question 5 isn't really a question. I suppose it is in some ways, but it's. It's this thought. I remember years ago, someone saying to me, isn't it amazing that you're going to have dreams that you don't even know about yet? I was like, oh my God, it's so true. Because I think, you know, back when I was, you know, that little teenager, probably even younger than a teenager playing, you know, the King of Hearts, I didn't even know that I had a dream to have, you know, a property. Business. Business, we've got properties now, but I want more. I didn't know that I would have a dream to have unique escapes and, and beautiful homes in many countries and some on the water and some in the mountain and some abroad and some in the uk. I didn't even know that I had that dream. I didn't even know that I had a dream to have Joy Fest. You know, I didn't have that dream. I've always had a dream to be a published author and to have my own book and to travel the world and be on stages. That's always been there. But even eight years ago, I couldn't have dreamed of the life I'm living today. I just didn't have the capacity to imagine It I was just trying to survive and tune into the feeling of joy and happiness, but the dreams found me anyway. Dreams keep finding me as I stay open to dreams and because I keep believing in my dreams, because I keep believing in myself to make sure that I can make those dreams come true as long as I keep believing and taking the action and believing in the magic, right? So the truth of this question is my future self has dreams that I can't even imagine yet, I can't even conceive of yet. And to me, that is wonderful and that is truly a joyful, joyful, joyful thing to feel. When I thought about the session and I thought, what were my key takeaways and what were the key takeaways from everybody in the room? There were a few that I wanted to share with you and maybe they're the same as your takeaways, but if you have extra takeaways from what I've been sharing today, I would love, love, love to hear from you, so please do. But the first one is that belief is a doorway. Belief isn't always just a guarantee. It's not a guarantee that it's going to happen, but belief is a doorway to, to believing it could happen. You don't even know that it's going to work. You don't even know that walking through the door of where it might lead. And you might need to go through multiple doors before you get to the actual realization of what it is. You just need to believe it could work, it could happen, it could be true. And if it's not, this next room that you're walking through into, it's is taking you there. And that's enough to start, you know, go back to. Reasonable people don't walk through the doors with belief signs on them. You know, they list, they list all the reasons the hinges might be faulty. But do you know what? Like me, you, you're not reasonable. You want to build a life that is unreasonable, that is extraordinary, that is more, and that's okay. But we have to keep walking through the door to believe that it's possible and it's believed that it's possible for us. The second is faith and action make the manifestation. It's both. It's belief and action, faith and action. Perhaps it's even belief, action and faith. It's having the belief that you can take the action that the action will work and then having faith that it will keep that whatever action that you've taken will work. You've got to sandwich action with the energies, the Belief and the faith. You can't just sit on your sofa visualizing and doing mantras and expecting the universe and everybody else to deliver what it wants. You need to take those inspired actions. And I think, you know, the manifestation world has changed a lot since the Secret, which really was about visualizing it. And that, that does help, I think. But I think there's a lot more to it. People are being much more aware that you actually have to take those actions, make the moves towards the dream. And I. And as I said to the ladies in the Love Club, I almost see it as like a big game of chess. I make a move, I take the action, and the magic responds to me. You know, that the universe, my mum, whoever it is on the other side of this giant chessboard, it's matching me. If I take one step towards my dream, my dream takes one step towards me. That's how we keep going. You know, like the lady who had the farm renovation, she had no idea it was going to work. She had no idea that the bank was going to give her the money. But she just kept on building, kept on believing, kept on going. And that's the manifestation in action. It's an action. I think one of my biggest takeaways from manifestation has always been detaching from the how and detaching from the outcome and detaching from the details almost. You know, many of the ladies shared how manifestations came true, myself included, when we let go of control and the details and we allowed everything to unfold naturally. I loved one of the stories that the lady shared with us. She talked about how she was painting a bookshelf. And while she was painting this bookshelf, she just visualized future grandchildren's toys on the shelves before they were even born. But she just knew that one day that's exactly what it would become. She wasn't controlling the when or the how. She just knew it would happen. You know, the lesson here is just hold the vision, have the faith, release the timeline and the method and the how. One of my favourite quotes ever from the Course in Miracles. Have I said this one before? I'm sorry if I have. It's worth repeating and remembering every single time. But those who are certain of the outcome can wait, and they can wait without anxiety. That's really the magic of manifestation. Another takeaway that reminded me was this huge childlike innocence and wonderful. Sprinkle that on your manifesting process. Just like when we were children, that first question, when you hadn't been conditioned with fears or worries or Realism, you just knew things that were possible because do you know what? Other people have done it. Why not me? Or maybe people haven't done it, but why not me anyway? Before the world told us to be realistic and have a plan and a goal. Create the magic, you know, that's the true energy of manifestation. Unreasonably optimistic, a little bit delusional, willing to keep on trying even when it doesn't look like it's working, even when everyone else is telling you it won't work. Go back to that bit of delusional, completely optimistic. Go for the wonder. Be innocent. Why not? Another takeaway was the fact that it doesn't always look how you thought it would. Just a bit like the childhood dream of running a chip shop becomes a career serving people in a completely different way. The dream of becoming a teacher becomes mentoring clients and building communities. The dream of being an artist doesn't necessarily mean that you have paintbrushes and canvas. But I feel like I am an artist because I've designed a life that's like a designer handbag. It's completely unique, but it's totally like me. And it has been artistry along the way. You know, the truth is all about being open to receiving your dreams in unexpected packages and get excited to see what that might mean. And sometimes the universe blows your mind because it over delivers and gives you extra. Because why not? We're looking for extraordinary lives, not ordinary ones. We talked a lot about receiving, and one of my favorite books that taught me about receiving is the Go Giver by Bob Berg. And in his final chapter he talks about being hungry to receive. Because many people, myself included, this has probably been my. The biggest thing I've had to work on is the receiving. We ask for it, we take the action, but we fail to receive because we block it. Because we think we're not worthy or we're not good enough, or there's a fear that if we have it, we take it. Oh, something bad will happen. I remember that one of my wonderful clients, she wasn't on this love club life, but we've talked about it before and we were talking about money because it often comes up, people want to manifest money. And I just said, okay, well, let's think about that. Then I said, if you were to order a million pounds per se, let's just go with a million and, you know, place your order as if you were placing on Amazon because, you know, Amazon's pretty reliable and it will turn up the next day. If not, it will be the day after, in a brown bat, in a brown box with its. With its blue tape around it. I said, what, what if you did that? And the next day there's a ring at the door and you open up the door and there on your front doorstep is your brown package with your name on it. And you open it up and there's a million pounds. What would you do? And she said, oh my God, I would take it to the police station. She said, I wouldn't think it was me. So it's just recognizing that actually when those opportunities. Opportunities come. Say yes when, when the universe responds. May not, maybe not necessarily with the exact thing that you've asked for, but it's something to help you get there. Say yes, receive it. You're worthy. Even if it comes with a whole bag of fear and a whole bag of feeling of unworthiness. Take it, take it in, open it up, hold it and believe that it's yours and take that next step. Preparation number seven, takeaway. This was Nesta Hicksism that I love. And I'm working on this with one of my private clients, one of my ladies on brilliance, you know, she's got a big vision for the next 1212 months. And I said, well, we just need to get ready to be ready. This is Nesta Hicksism. She says, get ready to be ready. You've got to be ready. I also love Stephen Bartlett and how he talks about the concept of doing a pre mortem, you know, prepare for the potential pitfalls and challenges. We go back to that forensics accountancy bit that I talked about at the beginning. You know, look for the potential failures before they happen so that you're not blindsided. One of the ladies, she was so lovely, she. Her mum had recently died, but she'd left a letter for her to open on her birthday. And we talked about having some of the coping mechanisms in place for the emotion that was. Was inevitable. So it is inevitable when you ask for a big dream, that there are going to be plot twists and failures and sometimes, often a reverse manifestation or anti manifestation can happen a little bit. Like me, I do Remember back in 2014, I think it was the date, if I think right, 2014, 2015. I remember just sitting with James and thinking, oh my God, this is so hard. I want things to get better. This is so uncomfortable. This is so uncomfortable. And do you know what? Very shortly after that, literally, it was like a sledgehammer wipe my life away. If we're talking chess, it was like the hand of God had just wiped every single Chess piece off my board. And that was almost an anti manifestation. It was. I had to restart again. I had to recognize the loss. I had to recognize that it wasn't working in the quickest way for me to get the manifestation that I wanted. This beautiful dream life, the dream job, the dream marriage, the dream romance, all of it. I had to just get rid of everything in the quickest way was to take it all away. I look back now and I can say that, but at the time it was brutal, but actually it was the quickest way to get what I wanted. Interesting, right? So be unreasonably optimistic but also prepare for the reality of the journey. What do they say? Expect the best but plan for the worst. Is basically that old saying, right? Next week we are or the start of this week. By the time this, this drops, I'm going to be opening up my magic manifesting week. It's for the ladies of the Love Club and we do it four times a year and it's an open week and we do it intensely and we manifest leg mole falls. And I take them through my very, very simplified process. We go through the five A's just to keep it simple because I want people to understand how simple it can be just to keep doing it, to say it together, to be it together, to. To be in the presence of other people manifesting to getting it wrong, to getting it right, to celebrating the incredibleness of it it. And those five 5A's are very simple and I'm going to share them with you. And you can come and join us by joining the Love Club or you can buy the program on its own. It's totally up to you. But do you know what? You can do this on your own. And you can write these down right now and I'll pop them in the show notes. You can do them yourself. And I did this practice and I have done it so many times when I really want to manifest something fast. I do this every day, even sometimes many times a day. But I take myself through this very quick process of the 55 ACE. I ask for what I want. I place my order like I was placing it with Amazon or. I first came up with this, this process because I was. I wanted a new, new watch. I'll tell you a story because I love telling story. But I was walking with one of my dearest friends. She's. She's an oncologist surgeon. And I was having some problems with my heart and I was worried about it. It was, you know, menopausal symptom But I was also worried because my dad had some heart issues. And she said, oh, my goodness, there's this lady and in the ward at the moment, she's wearing an Apple watch. And she said, the latest one can tell you when your heart has an irregular beat or if it stops. I was like, oh, my God, I need to get one. So I said to James, I said, I need to get the latest Apple watch. It's got the heart monitoring system on it because it's panicking me that I don't know that there's something wrong with my heart. I'm just having these awful palpitations that feel like I'm dying. So let's go and place the. The order for Apple. And I really wanted it because I was going down to London on the Thursday, but we tried to put the Apple order in and it wasn't going to get there before Thursday. And I was like, oh, well, let's just place it anyway. And I went off and I just trusted that Apple would blow my mind. Because, you know what, Apple is Apple, and it often does that, even if it says it's not going to deliver it by Thursday. Sometimes. Sometimes it does. And I was like, this time it will. So I placed the order. I went about my day. James came back on the Wednesday evening having been into Leeds, and he goes, oh, I cancelled that order because I popped into the lead shop and I've got you your exact, exact watch that you want with the raspberry pink band. I was like, oh, my goodness, this is magic manifesting. So this is where I really came up with the five A's. Ask, place your order. What do you want? Be specific. Get clear on what it is that you want. And I mean be specific and be. Be specific in the things. Like I wanted the Apple version, whatever it was at the time with the raspberry watch strap. But it could be a feeling. Like when I talked about magic manifesting. Sorry. When I talked about Manifesto, it was like, I want to be happy. So I was specific in a feeling or I was specific in the thing. So ask for what you want. Place your order. The second A is acknowledging. We have to acknowledge the dominant negative thought that's going to be working against your order. And we have to either drop it or dissolve it. You know, recognize that it's there, but don't live by it. You know, place, oh, Apple won't deliver. Well, maybe it will. Or, you know, one of the biggest ones that I had before in the past was, you know, I want more People in my Love Club acknowledge the negative dominant thought is that, oh, we're on the verge of a recession, the new budget is coming in, people aren't spending any money. Okay, I acknowledge that thought. Thank you very much, subconscious mind for telling me. I'm just going to drop that thought and I'm going to dissolve it. I see it. But I'm not going to leave from that point because the third A is assuming. We're going to assume the energy of already having whatever it is that I've got, like placing the order like I did with the Apple watch. I'm just going to assume that Apple's going to blow my mind. I am going to assume the identity of somebody who has people who are coming into the Love Club every single day. And I'm celebrating and I'm welcoming them all the time. Because you know what? It's super low value, super high cost. Why wouldn't they? This is exactly what people need at the moment. They need a place to come and talk about love. It's come and talk about everything that's going on in their life. To have someone who can guide them, to mentor them, to. To have something like the library to just step into and do the additional training. The fourth is then an action. We act when we assume the energy of something that's already happened. We can often open up that inspired action because we know what it took to get there. We take inspired action from the energy that we've assumed, whatever that might be. I'm going to talk about the Love Club on my podcast because I just know how much people are loving it, so why wouldn't people come in? So I'm going to talk about it even more and I'm going to share the testimonials and I'm going to share the story. The fifth is the allowing is the surrendering. It's handing this over to the universe. It's trusting in the process. It's trusting in the magic. It's. It's staying in the energy of the wonder. It's allowing the universe to blow my mind. It was allowing Apple to blow my mind and to exceed all my expectations. And in fact, it wasn't Apple, it was James. So I trusted in the magic unfolding. So that's the framework that I use, manifesting as if by magic. It's that. It's the process. I often take myself on my walk every single day when I want something, whatever that might be. It could be something to do with my work, it could be something to do, do with My relationships. It could be, I want a holiday, I want to go away and asking those things. You know, it's, you can use it for anything that you desire in your life. Now I hope that by sharing these questions and that 5A process, you can start to believe that you are already a master at manifesting. And all you need to do, like anything in life, is just tweak the process that you're already doing to improve it a bit. Like I did, you know, I started with manifest it. I learned about the science, we then created magic manifesting, and now I just believe that I'm a master manifester. The question is never about can I manifest or can you manifest? The question is, what do you want to manifest next? You know, take those five questions, sit with them, write out your answers, put them on a postcard. I used to, when I first started this, I used to have an envelope and I used to pop them in an envelope and pretend that I was posting them. See the evidence of your manifesting power. And then you can get unreasonably optimistic, let's just underline that word, unreasonably optimistic about what's possible for you in this lifetime right now. Because reasonable people don't build reasonable lives. We're not here for the ordinary, we're here for the extraordinary. So we've got to do something a little bit extra. You are a master manifester. You are. You're building an incredible life. You're getting to design your own life in the way that you want and you get to take action and you have the belief that you can do it, it, believe it. Even if you're a little bit delusional. People think you're delusional. Come and join the Love Club. We're all a bit delusional in there and we have a lot of fun being delusional too. So a couple of things to finish off there. If you want to practice and you want to come in and manifest as if by magic, we are doing this daily this week. It's not too late to join me. Host: Ali Mortimer
In this uplifting episode, Ali Mortimer, Life Consultant and Joy Coach, shares her insights and experiences about manifestation. The key purpose is to reignite listeners’ belief in their own capacity to manifest joy and success, whether they’re feeling stuck, new to manifestation, or seasoned in the practice. Drawing from her personal journey, the stories of her Love Club community, and actionable techniques, Ali empowers listeners to recognize themselves as “master manifesters”—people inherently capable of bringing their dreams into reality.
“Believing you can do something is going to be the thing that gets you halfway there to actually having it in reality. The easy bit is the doing, it’s the getting your mind behind the belief.” (08:40)
“We really are forensic accountants of our failures.” (09:17)
“A pattern I’ve noticed in successful people. They’re all a little bit delusional about their abilities. They’re not arrogant, just unreasonably optimistic about what they can figure out... Reasonable people don’t build unreasonable lives.” (10:45)
“The revelation… was that many of us are living versions of those childhood dreams, but not necessarily in the way we expected.” (18:40)
“You can manifest the impossible because you’ve already done it, so why can’t you do it again?” (24:05)
“Half the equation is you—belief in action and attitude—and the other half is the magic. It’s the synchronicity. It’s divine timing.” (31:10)
“That’s where the magic lies… it can be just a feeling.” (39:00)
“My future self has dreams that I can’t even imagine yet… that is truly a joyful, joyful thing to feel.” (44:14)
“You can’t just sit on your sofa visualizing and doing mantras and expecting the universe and everybody else to deliver what it wants. You need to take those inspired actions.” (50:20)
“Those who are certain of the outcome can wait, and they can wait without anxiety.” (Course in Miracles, 53:15)
Ali’s condensed, actionable system for daily manifestation:
Ask: Clearly state what you want.
Acknowledge: Notice and dissolve negative thoughts that might block your manifestation.
Assume: Embody and act as if you already have what you desire.
Act: Take inspired, practical steps towards your goal.
Allow: Surrender the outcome and trust the universe (or your higher power) to deliver—often in surprising ways.
Ali’s Example (Apple Watch Story):
“I placed the order, assumed Apple would blow my mind, and acted as if it was already done. In the end, James brought home exactly what I wanted—even better than planned.” (01:03:20)
On Manifestation Mindset:
“Unreasonably optimistic—a little bit delusional, willing to keep on trying even when it doesn’t look like it’s working… That’s the true energy of manifestation.” (54:30)
On Receiving:
“When opportunities come, say yes, receive it. You’re worthy—take it in, hold it, and believe that it’s yours.” (56:40)
On Being Open to the Unexpected:
“The dream of being an artist doesn’t necessarily mean that you have paintbrushes and canvas… I am an artist because I’ve designed a life that’s unique and totally like me.” (57:55)
On Starting Again:
“Sometimes the fastest way to get what you want is for everything to be swept away so you can rebuild from scratch. At the time, it was brutal, but it was necessary.” (59:45)
Ali’s approach is warm, encouraging, and peppered with personal anecdotes and community stories. She blends practical advice with humor and a dose of “delusional optimism,” making manifestation feel accessible, playful, and empowering.
Ali closes by inviting listeners to embrace their abilities as master manifesters. Whether through her Love Club or personal journaling, she urges everyone to raise their expectations, stay unreasonably optimistic, and pursue their deepest dreams—even if others call them delusional.
“The question is never about can I manifest? The question is: what do you want to manifest next?” (01:10:05)
To connect or join future manifestation sessions, Ali Mortimer invites you to join The Love Club or participate in her "Manifesting as if by Magic" program.
