That's right, every Thursday is a Pop Culture Thursday, where I go to Page Six and I go to different headlines that interest me and we riff on the articles. That's right, that's the show. It is showing you inside the brain of another human who gets taken in by clickbait. You know, it's a clickbait show and a lot of this show is talking about what made me want to click on it and what I'm thinking going into the article. Oh, probably very similar thoughts to the ones you would have. And the purpose of a podcast is to take your brain, put it on the shelf, let me take the wheel, and maybe take in some new directions that don't involve you thinking about the anxieties in your own life. When people are reporting on your social media habits as far as who you block and who you follow and who you unfollow, you're officially out of regular people land. You are in Elysium. You are in another planet because this happens. Oh, my God. Nicki Minaj has unfollowed whoever. I don't know why I think it was my first thought, but I. Oh, my God. They unfollowed. Oh, my God. There, you know, the, the tracking your follows to me, whoever that person is that tracks the following and unfollowing and the blocking of celebrity, like social media. That person has a job that is not one they can explain to anyone. Like the, yeah, I'm. I'm the lead loser so that other losers don't have to look up who celebrities unfollow and follow. So what do we think the wild reason is? It's gotta be that they don't follow him. Brooklyn Beckham blocked his family on social media because his mother, Victoria Beckham liked one of his posts. There it is. That. That's not a wild reason. That's why you block someone. They revealed that they are looking at your stuff. You don't want them looking at your stuff. You want to send a message. Hey, you blocked bitch. That's not. That's actually the most regular reason to block someone. You're arguing with someone. You don't like them. It is sad. I mean, it's sad it's his mom, but you block someone to send a message you restrict someone to not talk about it. You can do other things that make it so you don't see them interacting with your account. Blocking is basically like hey nuh, get outta here. I told you we're not on good terms. I this is a reminder. It is so interesting how little these commenters know about the human experience that them commenting. Brooklyn, just forgive her. She liked your post. She's happy you're beer brining. That is I this is one of those where you want to go to the commenter and find them. I want to. I want to do a TV show where I show up at the door of a commenter. Some person that lives in Tennessee. That's like telling Brooklyn Beckham to make up with his mom. You don't know what's going on here. You don't know what Victoria Beckham did to him. We have no idea why they don't talk. I didn't know there were this many Beckhams. I knew there was Brooklyn and that was it. A Source told the US sun that David, 50, and Victoria are understandably heartbroken by what's going on here. Th this is tough. This is tough for everyone. The fact that they have to have commenters telling you to make up. We're going to get the story. This came out of the blue for them and in the lead up to Christmas when families are supposed to come together, it's devastating, the insider shared. All they want is for things to be fixed. We don't know what happened. That's the thing. This story's been going on on Pop Culture Thursday for almost a year. So we have no idea. I love this story because it's bizarre without thinking. If you just read the headline, you'd go this isn't that weird. Exes Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reunite for holiday shopping trip with his son Samuel. You'd go, oh, JLO and, and and Ben are getting together to shop with their son. But this isn't their son. This is Ben's son Samuel. So what's JLO doing there? What? What this is. Why would they get together to shop with his son? Honestly, you'd be like, well JLo has this sense of style, she has stylus, he has stylists. That's an easy hey, my son needs to go. Why would they be together for this trip? Exes Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reunited for holiday shopping and lunch with his son Samuel at the Brentwood Country Mart in Los Angeles. I have been to the Brentwood Country Mart. It's very cool. It's this open air thing. Great chicken place there. According to photos obtained by page 6, the actor and the 13 year old was spotted arriving at the Farm Shop in Brentwood, California on Sunday. The actress arrived in the to the restaurant separately from the father son duo. So this is like a meeting. The son is younger, so maybe I I just don't think the son is a part of why she's there. Without the sweater, the dress makes more sense. Okay. Yeah. I just don't understand there. There's something else going on here. Like to me, this lunch that's presented as, oh, look at, she's with him and the kid is like them going over papers for their divorce. We don't know. Let's do another story before we do. So report would mean that someone is finding out. A source, an unnamed source is telling you how Brady feels. I don't think Bray to me it would make sense. Anybody whose wife ends up with a guy who does karate, you're going to sound bad. He's doing I have to be good to my ex so that she can move on so that I can move on. It's robotic. I love quotes like this because they're coming from him. And you get to set the temperature. This is a guy, Ethan Slater, who I think, don't quote me on this, but I think he left his like pregnant wife for Ariana. So this guy could do anything. You, you know, what are you gonna. There's no clue he's gonna stay with anybody. Live from New York, it's Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater. The actor was spotted by eagle eyed fans and backstage photos from his wicked for good co stars Saturday Night Live hosting gig. This weekend, despite rampant split speculation, Slater, 33, appeared in Elizabeth Guy Gillies Instagram slideshow celebrating Grande. If the major clue is that he went to SNL when she was hosting, that is not a major clue. You have to do that. The victorious alum covered Slater's face with her hand while toasting Grande, 32, with a cup of champagne, but did show the SpongeBob musical star and tagged him in another shot. And then she's like, hey, guys, she did a absolutely batshit cuckoo bananas post about their breakup. It was like, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, we're breaking up. Blah, blah, blah. Be nice to us. Like, I'm. I'm not making up the blah, blah, blahs. That's how crazy it was. This was from her. So now you're saying a week later I hit rock bottom after confirming the separation. Was it last Tuesday? Like, I don't understand when this all happened. Amy Schumer candidly spoke about. I don't think this is candid is my point. But it's like this should be Alex Earl went to the beach. And that has nothing to do with Braxton Barrios. I mean, of course I'm looking at the picture. This is just a girl on a trip in Cabo. Alex Earl showed off her tone figure. No, she didn't. She went to the beach with multiple bikini shots following her breakup from Braxton Barrios. At this point, I'm not. I didn't come here to defend Alex Earl. It seems like the world is her oyster. She's a beautiful young woman who's made millions of dollars for being a beautiful young woman who can hawk makeup. The idea that she goes to the beach after her breakup, which was in the news and it's painted as she's showing it off, isn't really fair to her. The influencer turned 25 on December 16, celebrated with a girls trip to Cabo. Earl shared pics from the getaway on Instagram, including her flaunting her figure in a black bikini. I don't know why this is flaunting. Here's her laying down. Okay, there's some flaunt. This is her doing the arched. The arched back look. Okay, this one, she does look angry in it, but this is just. She just has a body that's, like, beautiful. But, yeah, I guess if she was smiling, it would help this to not look like Gotcha, bitch. The newly single influencer also wore a silky pink backless mini dress that resembled lingerie during a night out with her pals. Yeah, her laying down the pictures are a move. They're a look. And it's her holding a hot dog cake. Not a fan of that. I'm not on the side of, like, hot chick likes food that disgusting people like, and we're supposed to laugh. Let us have our hot dogs.
