Hello and welcome to the J Train Podcast. This is J Train Jared Freed coming alive from the West Village of Manhattan. That's right. Every Thursday is a Pop Culture Thursday. I go to Page six. I click on some headlines that look fun, and we read the article and I give you some riffing and some perspective. That's this show. So I do want to open this up. The world, you know, everyone's heads are on fire right now. I'm going to get into that subject and my week, that was. That was a little bit weird. West wrote in part. I mean, here's the thing. To me, I'm looking at this and to say, yeah, he's looking at skims, the success. And I have to say, this bodysuit is maybe the hottest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. They show west wife wardrobe revolves around hosiery and shapewear. I am, I mean, as a man, nothing is hotter than shapewear. To me, nothing is hotter than the shirt that, like, buttons underneath your crotch. I don't know why that just hits me. It hits women in the right curves. It always looks good. It always, you know, I huge fan. So the idea that Kanye is like, oh, what am I? What am I? The biggest. He's probably like me nor no corporations levering my platform, using me to get to us, get to get us to overcharging our communities while ignoring my vision and direction. Then they show Kim Kardashian, who has a similar one at skims, and it looks, and it's on her and she looks amazing. I mean, I have the skims men's underwear. And I've said this before. They know the shape of a human's body. Like, I wear them and I'm like, wait a minute, do I feel sexy? Like, I, I actually, you know, I have them. I have me undies. I. And I would say I would wear the skims for a more formal occasion to feel different about yourself. So I think Kim Kardashian's powers, she knows, like, the way, you know, curves work or whoever she's working with, she's done a great job and people love it. To say that Kanye like coming after Kim, well, he's like, that's a market that makes a lot of money. And I'm sure he's like, I find it hot too. Speaking of clothing, Lauren Sanchez reacts to Whitney Cummings poking fun at her cheap inauguration look. So Lauren Sanchez is Jeff Bezos's fiance, and she wore like a, a white suit with a lace bra to the inauguration. It is something I don't know. I don't know what you choose for I don't know what you should wear to inauguration. It does stand out. Whitney Cummings poked She did look like Sue Ellen Mishke from Seinfeld when she wore the bra underneath the coat. Whitney Cummings poked fun at Lauren Sanchez's polarizing inauguration look and Jeff Bezos fiance responded. The comedian told her Instagram follows Tuesday that she's not going to hate on the 55 year old for wearing a white out. I mean she looks amazing but do you I don't know what the what you wear what you don't wear to an inauguration but I would assume that is a formal event. I would assume it's a lot like the the day part, you know the bar mitzvah like you what you would wear to the service. Not gonna hate on the 55 year old for wearing a white Alexander McQueen pantsuit and peekaboo lace bra at Donald Trump swearing in ceremony. She's a businesswoman and her decisions have gotten her this far. What a passive aggressive well I guess dressing that way has gotten you this far. Cummings, 42, continued. I respect the woman, this woman's judgment. All right. We all wish we had be honest. I, I this is what a backhanded in insult and she's playing the whole woman thing. She's a businesswoman, she's a tycoon. I guess if she's gotten this far looking like that, who am I to say? Who am I to judge? That's the tone of Whitney's gumming's comment gotten her this far. I'm watching it. She does a face to the and Whitney looks like she hasn't slept in 17 years. She's doing this video about the woman in her white bad suit. So what did she say? The actress admitted that the 55 year old's lingerie looked lingerie looked cheap on Monday but clarified I don't blame her. I blame white lace. Well no, that's not. You do blame her. This is probably a thousand dollars like Dolce Gabana. The price has nothing to do with whether it's appropriate for the inauguration. But we've all done it. She added. We've all bought like a cute white lace bra and you take and you take your shirt off and it always looks like been trafficked. What Whitney Cummings does it. I don't, I don't know. I've never thought that the woman in the white lace looked trafficked. Um Cummings joke that it looks cute in a mirror but then in a photo. No bueno. That's the quote. No bueno. I mean Whitney's not labeling it. Bachelor in paradise meets Love is blind Energy. That is not even. I don't know. I disagree with Whitney. If you're gonna make a joke about someone's appearance and looks, you better walk the line correctly. And I think when you say it's Bachelor in Paradise, I mean Bachelor in Paradise is a beach show. I wouldn't wear this at the beach. Love is blind Energy. I don't know. It's a pantsuit with a bra underneath it. And then Lauren Sanchez just wrote a heart, which is the move Heart. No laughter, just a heart. I like the other people that commented this is her aesthetic always and she's not going to change for anyone. Got to respect it. Like I. Okay. After sending her thoughts and prayers, the two Broke Girls co creator concluded she's with the head of Amazon and she looked like she's got that top on Teemu. That's fun. That that would be. That's the joke. Cummings noted in her caption that this wouldn't have been her outfit selection, but double down on her claim that white, less white lace is a scam. You can't blame white lace. That's my problem with the the roast, so to speak. You know, white lace exists. It is out there. It can look good in some occasions. And right for listen to me, it looks like this woman, Lauren Sanchez is at like a Miami birthday party. That that would be what I would think of it. She looks good. I again, you know, they have a whole video of Zuckerberg checking out her boobs. The former news anchor made headlines Tuesday for liking other supportive comments on her most recent Instagram posts. One such comment read, girl, you ate that inaugural look. Don't pay attention to no haters. Again, there are haters. Like, I would be like, what? Only option, only opinion that matters is your own. And Jeff's. Sanchez is yet to react to Megyn Kelly comparing her to a hooker. I mean, God, what? And Christine Quinn blasting her chesticles being hoisted at the white. This is one of those like these things that men just don't get involved with. Like just watch. Pick up your popcorn and watch. I don't know. We live in another dimension. It's just a crazy thing. Inside Jessica Alba's best girls trip to NYC after confirming split from husband Cash Warren. So we talked about this on last week's Pop culture Thursday that Jessica Alba has, you know, confirmed a divorce. Jessica Alba jetted off to the Big Apple. Big Apple. After confirming her and her husband Cash Warren split. The actress shared an Instagram slideshow of pics from her trip on Wednesday writing that her heart and belly were full. The Dark angel alum 43 wrote that she took her big baby girl 16 year old daughter Honor to New York City for one one on one time. So then they have the pictures of them hanging out. I think that's right near here. The actress went to New York City with her daughter on her. I think that's them in the West Village. I'm looking at the pictures. Where did they go? Alba went on to credit Giada De Laurentiis and daughter Jade, 16 for being the best girl trip companion. Yeah, Giada De Laurentiis, is she the, the cooking woman? The honey star concluded with a close up of the photo of flowers and the quote, what if it all works out? I mean everyone, even Jessica Alba, we're all just writing this rom com, the divorce. This is her big coming out party. I did a TikTok about this like a year ago where it's like, you know when someone goes through a breakup, you can kind of tell on social media they disappear. There's a gym selfie, gym selfie. And then it's like this post with like a quote, what if it all works out? What if, what if it's like even Jessica Alba who's like a billionaire. The Manhattan getaway came two weeks after a report surfaces surfaced of Alba and Warren breaking up following 16 years of marriage. She confirmed in a January 22 Instagram statement that they had indeed called it quits. I've been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years, both as an individual and in a partnership with Cash, Alba wrote, noting how proud she was of her, himself and the 46 year old producer. In other trust fund news, Barron Trump's Taylor reveals secret side of the 18 year old first son. It's a little weird if you're the tailor for the president's son to like give an interview. I knew people went to NYU and they were always like talking about things I would never talk about in college. Like, I'm talking about like, you know, would you want nipple? You know, fingers as nipples, you know, when I'm in college. He's probably talking about like what business he wants to start. The Taylor further shared that the New York University student is hilarious and also very welcoming. Can we just like back it off on the funny like. Yeah, sure is a laugh riot. You know what is another word I would use say about him? Hospitable. He is down to earth, nice as can be. Inhospitable, I guess. What's his Taylor gonna say? They show a picture of Barron Trump giving a fist and looking very. I mean, he looks like the son of a Russian dictator. It's crazy. The entrepreneur commended Baron for being multifaceted. Would a tailor know this much about me? He's hilarious. But as I said, he's super sharp. You put him in a room with star businessmen, he will hold his own. What? I go in the tailor, I leave. I don't know if I have these types of conversations with a tailor. He can talk to them all day. They must be starting a suit company together. Baron, Donald's only child with wife Melania met Pierce through social media influencer and entrepreneur Justin Whaler, who Whaler bonded with Baron over their love of custom suits. While spending time at Mar A Lago. Justin said he wanted to introduce me to Baron. Pierce recalled the meeting of the teenager. Literally a week later, I was on a flight down to Mar A Lago. So they're starting a suit company. This guy is going to have a, he's going to have, you know, it's going to be trust fund for kids. It's going to be, it's going to be dictator son or us. You know, Bethenny Frankel, who is like out there on a number of subjects. We're trying to get her to come on you up, but she'll only go on things that she's paid for, apparently. Kristen Davis was ghosted by very successful actor after lending him $5,000. Horrible mistake. So who's the scammer? Kristen Davis. And just like that, he's gone. Kristen Davis revealed that a very successful actor once ghosted her after she lent him $5,000. It is weird to go on a pod. I guess you went on a podcast in Sunday's episode of Her Are you a Charlotte podcast. I didn't know this existed. Why don't you Go to the guy and text him, like, hey, do you have that 5,000? I forgot I lent it to you. If they're very successful, you must. The actress described the unnamed man as an out of work actor whom she began dating before becoming a household name. Is he in work now? I think this was before Sex and the City, maybe between Melrose and Sex and the City or maybe when I was on Melrose. I don't know. She shared. Davis, 59, said that while the actor is now very successful and was very talented, she spotted spotted Bill notices at home. At his home from companies threatening to shut off his electricity at the time they were dating. Oh, this is a nice story that, like, why this is how little she has to talk about on her podcast. And I'm talking about it. So I mean, who am I? But. And I was like, what's happening? And then I'm like, and then I think he wrecked his motorcycle, which is like how he got into, got around his auditions, she recalled. And I was like, can I lend you some money? Horrible mistake. The Emmy nominee said lending the actor money changed the dynamic between them in a horrible way. Yeah, money can do that to relationships. But I thought, like, I can help. I should help this guy. She continued. He's so talented. Which, which he is lending money. I think it was all 5,000. A lot of money. Davis said the man stopped calling after her. Nice gesture. So he might have been embarrassed, but still, hey, where's my money? So she popped up at his apartment and started banging on his door. His dog was in there, and I love this dog. And I could hear his dog, but I was like, is he in there? And pretending that he's not there. She remembered the couple's retreat. Actress said the actor called her later on and asked whether she had been banging at his door. And I was like, well, yes. I felt so embarrassed, like being messy. She shared. I just would love some acknowledgment or whatever, which is kind of a fantasy. Or how about your money back? I acknowledgement. Hey, I'm just talking about this on a podcast. You owe me $5,000. So the tween who has appeared in Lessons in Chemistry and Taylor Swift's Willow music video also wore jeans and loafers. She posted a ton of pics on her Instagram capturing one pic. When I was little, I used to ask every, every famous young woman I was lucky enough to meet if they could babysit me.
