And then it's also going to have a lot of the new stuff that I've been working on that I'm very excited about. I got a new story to tell. I, I, I'd never called storytelling comedian. And I'll get this, I'll get into this on Coffee with J Train on Patreon tomorrow. But I'm excited to kind of like continue the type of comedy that I just taped a few weeks ago, which kind of the whole thing being one story that goes into bits and again it's laughs every 10 seconds. But it's got kind of a through line and a, a little bit of a message. Not a preachy message, just a personalized note to it. So I'm excited because I, I was like, maybe I won't to do this again. Maybe this is just, this was one story that I was only able to do this way because it all came together. Maybe. But now, now I'm doing this new story and I'm like, oh, this feels like what I just did, but different. So I'm excited. I, I hope you can hear that in my voice. I got to start with this story because it is weirdly personal. Jessica Simpson's split from husband Eric Johnson. Inspiring first album in 15 years. Jared, how is that personal? Well, I'm going to tell you. Jessica Simpson split from her husband. I didn't know that she was splitting from her husband. Now, Eric, Eric Johnson is a Needham High graduate. I knew Eric Johnson before Jessica Simpson knew Eric Johnson. So this guy, and I, too, am a Needham High graduate. Me, Eric Johnson, Ali Raisman. I think she graduated from Needham High, but she's from Needham. I mean, there was a street near my old house named Ali Raisman Way. She's an American hero. She's a, you know, an Olympic star. And then, you know, there was, I'm trying to think of other famous people. There's the astronaut. The fact that I'm including myself in this group is ridiculous. I'm, I'm just saying these are people who are public who, who put themselves out there. I, I, these are the people I knew was famous. The astronaut that's stuck in space, she's a Needham graduate. There's got to be more. Steve Hauschka, the kicker for the Seahawks, who has been on this podcast. Him and I played lacrosse together. We are both 2003 lacrosse state champs. I'm looking up Needham Highs graduate space. She's one of the. Sunita Williams. She's one of the people stuck in space. Or she's not stuck, she's stuck. I don't know. So Needham sends love to Suni Williams. Yes, she was a Needham person. So NASA, NASA astronaut Suni Williams answers Needham. She, she talked to an elementary school, so she's a Needhamite. So Eric Johnson. So now that I've name dropped, all the Needham people that I, you know, once again. And you have your hometown where you could rattle off whatever names, and they're kind of like, weird in the way that these names were weird. So also, there's the, the drummer in, he was the drummer in Goose. He's From Needham. This is like, what, you know. This is what people do. You know, my grandfather did this with Jewish people. Are they Jewish? You'd always want to know, are they Jewish? This is the whole premise of, of the Hanukkah song from Adam Sandler. This is what people of whatever background, whether it's you're from Needham or you're Jewish or you're Greek or you're Italian. Are they Greek? Are they Italian? This is what you share. So, Eric Johnson. The memory I have is that when I was in high school, he was playing for the San Francisco 49ers, and he was a tight end, and it was a huge deal for us to, like, know, whoa, he made it. And the whole thing was that he was a better volleyball player than he was a football player. That's what everyone talked about, that he was this. He didn't even care about football. He was a volleyball player. So. And it's funny because Steve Hauschka, who played for the Seahawks, he didn't even play football with us. He played soccer, and he ended up going into the NFL. So Needham, not exactly a football powerhouse, but. So he goes out to San Francisco, and then he came back to the school one year, and I remember, I think it was my senior year, and everyone was chanting like, NFL, NFL. I'll never forget it. And then, like, a couple years goes by, and then you find out he's, like, dating Jessica Simpson. You're like, what? So now they've split up, and I saw this story, and I'm like, what a way to start, you know, pop culture. Thursday, Jessica Simpson split from her husband. Eric Johnson has. I mean, this guy won the lottery. He goes out to San Francisco. He meets Jessica Simpson. She is a billionaire. She has a, like, you know, her music is one thing. I think she started a shoe company. Like, a. Her clothing company is worth billions to me. I, I, the Nick Lachay, Jessica Simpson thing. When you watch their, like, reality show, and she was like, the punchline. And he was like, the one that was like, oh, she doesn't get it. It was like a loose Lucille Ball type of situation. She was the smartest person in the room. You know, he's an idiot. You see him with the Love is Blind, you know, Vanessa Lachey, and you watch them on stage, and it's so hard for me not to think of, like, how uncomfortable they are. They're. They're the Jan and Michael episode, Dinner Party episode from the Office. And you watch them and you're like, everything they Interact on is bizarre. And it's like. And. And you're like, man, dude. Maybe it would have been. Does he. I wonder. I would. I would. That's a guy where it's like, you got some truth serum. Who do you put it in? I'm putting it in Nick Lachey to ask him about what he felt about the whole thing. If he could go back, would he stay with Jessica Simpson? I don't know. Jessica Simpson split from her husband Eric Johnson has inspired the singer to write and record her first album in 15 years. Page six is learned. Jessica's been working on new music for a while, but with everything going on now, she feels it's perfect time to go full force with it. She's always journaling, and a few entries have evolved into songs and about heartbreak and resilience. It's been a very creative, albeit heartbreaking time for her. So this story is coming from her people. In my opinion, this story is her being like, an album is coming. Let's turn on the. The burners to get this tea piping hot. And it's about love and loss and heartbreak. Oh, who's made money off of that? Taylor Swift. Oh, let's walk in her shoes in the snow. To me, this is. This is a. This is a genius PR person. This is Jessica Simpson, who has a PR person on staff. She's like, yeah, I think I'm gonna put out an album. Okay. Breakup. People love that. They want songs about breakup. Page Six has reached out to Simpsons rep for comment. The Dukes of Hazard star. I love when they do this. Who memorably dropped her 2006 breakup ballad I Belong to Me on the heels of her divorce from Nick Lachey. Last released an album in 2010 titled Happy Christmas, which another. Here's. When you know someone's a business person when. When you know art and business, you know they abut each other. Some people are artists, some people are business people. Some people are good at mixing the two. I would say if you release a Christmas album, you are game for mixing the two. You are not that you are not up your ass as an artist. Because what they tell you is the Christmas album will be played every year. If you get a Christmas hit, Mariah Carey, you just created a pension for yourself. Which featured covers of holiday classics. Again, you can do holiday classics because I think a lot of them are in the public domain, so you don't even have to pay for them. Prior to that, she tried her hand at a country music on 2008 do youo Know a departure from the pop genre that made her a household name in the late 90s and early aughts thanks to hit singles including I Want to Love you Forever Irresistible. With you, she had some great songs. I was always a Jessica Simpson fan. Simpson briefly returned to music in 2020 when she included six new songs on the audio edition of her memoir Open Book. Though they were never released on streaming services, they they there and therefore received little fanfare. However, the fashion designer, and that's where she made her money, teased last year that she was ready for a comeback, writing on Instagram that she was going back to the studio after putting up with everything she did not deserve. Ooh. The cryptic post sparked rumors that Simpson and Johnson, 45, were headed for divorce, which the couple subsequently fueled by ditching their wedding rings. So no rings. Wow. They got kids. They got three kids together. They look like a California couple. They look like. The actress finally confirmed the news of their separation Monday, telling People that she and the former NFL player have been living separately while navigating a painful situation in their 10 year marriage. The source told Page Six exclusively Tuesday that Simpson and Johnson had trust issues and were no longer on the same page. Uhoh. The pair, who relisted their hid Hidden Hills, California mansion for $17.9 million, who they wed in 2014, share three children 12, 5 and 11. So you know, listen, this is the PR people being like, okay, albums coming. You know us at the jcu, the J Train cinematic universe. Send our best to the to neatomite Eric Johnson and not Needhamite Jessica Sims. I wonder if she ever went to Needham. Like I. I don't know. I. You you think about these things. I don't know who this person is. And I'm sorry if I'm mispronouncing the name Chanel. John Chanel Jones, but she spells it. It's S H E I N E L L E. To me, that's Chanel Jones revealed why she's been absent from today's show for over a month now. If I was to say like what my morning show was growing up. What's the what's, you know, the house show that would be on at breakfast. Today's show would be it. I think that had to do something with to me like seven Channel seven, which was our NBC growing up, that was the best looking channel. That was the one that looked most new and clear. I think that mattered. I haven't kept up with the Today show. I know that Hoda has left the third hour and I've met Hoda. They did a whole Hoda week. I have a story. I mean, if I insert myself in all these. One time I went up to Hoda and like, well, I used to do the guys tell all. I would go on the show and they had this thing, I told the story here about Kathy Lee not liking me, I think. So I, they'd have four men come on and spend a two minute segment answering women's questions about men. And they never gave any direction. They would just have you come on and they'd throw a bone in the air and they'd hope and then you'd have to like literally attack the bone. So I've gone on and said nothing. I've gone on and like taken over the segment. I've gone on and like been boxed out. That kind of happened with me and the guy, the crooner. I guess I'll retell the story if you haven't heard it. I went on, he was a crooner that was on America's Got Talent. And he had a, he had an uncle, Uncle Vinnie. And the Uncle Vinnie was like this Italian. Like he was, to me, he was an Italian, like yeah, it was Sal Valentinetti, this guy Sal. And he was like a 20 year old crooner who would sing like Sinatra hits. And he was very good. And he had an uncle who would smoke a cigar and wear a white tank top and was basically like an offensive cartoon of an Italian to me. I would call it offensive. And no one calls it offensive, cuz no one cares. But I'm just saying, when you have a guy with a cigar, like we're gonna do something to him, you know, like I, I, I just roll my eyes, okay, I, oh, you got, you're a hitman. You look like you just hit hot dogs. Okay? So the only thing you take out is a, is a six pack of hot dogs. So they were like, he was. So this guy Sal was on American Idol or America's Got Talent. So they were trying to like promote America's Got Talent via this guy's tell all. So they wouldn't let me talk and I kept trying to get in. But they would like set him up in a way that no one else got set up. And they did a commercial in between the segment. I'm like not doing well and I'm trying to like get involved. And Sal's like, it's my birthday tomorrow. And then Kathie Lee's like, oh my God, it's my birthday tomorrow too. And I go, look at this Couple of kids turning 21. And then Kathy Lee looks at me and is like, are you calling me old? And I was like, excuse me? And she's like, so you're saying I'm old? You're saying I'm not 21? And I go. And then they're like, okay, we're back from commercial. And then it just went back to the show. And I'm like, and I never got invited back. I, I. The producer stopped reaching out. But Hoda was always, like, so easy and fun and nice. And one time I listened to the Tony Kornheiser podcast, which is like, I'm a fan of that show. And I know that he lives, like, at the beach near her. And I went up to her and I go. I was like, leaving. I go, you live near Tony Kornheiser? And she goes, what? And I was like. She's like, do you know him? I was like. Like, I didn't know how to explain. I listened to his. I just sounded like the biggest idiot in the world. And she's like, how do you know where I live? Like, and it just got awkward again. So I was like, get me out of here. I never want to do this show again. So that's my relation to the Today Show. And now Chanel Jones is there. Revealed she's been absent from her post for over a month due to a family health matter. See, this is the thing with Page Six. Page Six has dined out on Today show morning show drama for years. This is interesting to me because you see Chanel Jones reveals why she's been absent from today's show for over a month. So I know this to be true. As far as Page Six has, like, Matthew, whatever his name, all these people are interested in the drama of a morning show and who likes who and who's a diva and who's. Who's the dick? And, you know, Matthew Whatever, the guy who used to host who is trying to make a comeback. It seems it's Matt Lauer. Matthew Lauer, one of my dad, Matt La. So the Matt Lauer stuff. So it is funny that, like, Page Six, like, if you're a Page Six frequenter, there's, like, sensors that went off in my brain. Ooh, Today's show. I don't even know who Chanel Jones is. I've never even seen her. I'm sure she's great. But I just saw today's show absent a month. I'm like, oh, what happened here? Morning show drama. That's. It is interesting that, like, I'VE tasted this before, and now it's nothing like I, you know, family health matter. I'm sorry. She's going through that. And then I kind of like see her like Instagram life and via that you're like, oh, it seems like Sophia is a cool person. Like, it seems like she like is like an easy hang. I'm trying to find her. Sandra. Yeah, I follow her on Instagram. Sandra Vergara, artist, beauty and lifestyle host of People E, Yahoo. Yeah, she's, she's done a lot of hosting work and you see, you know, and like over the holidays you see these Instagram stuff and you go, oh, that's her with the family. Look at Sophia's part of it and see she seems cool. Sophia Vergara sparks romance rumors with Lewis Hamilton after saying she's manifesting a boyfriend this year. Now Lewis Hamilton is a race car driver. Something about race car drivers, man, these guys always. And Sofia Vergara is like, you know, she is the mascot for hot, you know, Latina woman. You know, I guess she kind of took over for J. Lo in the American thing because I mean she is so good on Modern Family, so good in that role. And it's like it was made for her. It's like that, I love that show. Sofia Vergara is getting back out there. The Modern Family actress was photographed on what seemed to be a law a lunch date with F1 driver Lewis Hamilton. This is when I say like, this is where the whole short short guys thing becomes fraudulent. It's why, you know, oh, I'm not into short guys. And then you see these race car drivers and you're like, well, what about if they can handle, like, you know, horsepower? And they're like, okay, you know, like, it does kind of defeat because all these guys, all these race car drivers like Helio. Helio Castro Neva used to date the actress from Double Jeopardy. I don't know why that's the only role I remember for this. I liked Double Jeopardy. Um, but she was like the hottest woman alive at one point, Ashley Judd. I mean, that's all I know her from is Double Jeopardy. Uh, so. But like she was dating Helio Castro Nevis, who's another race car driver. Like these guys always do particularly well. Per Photos obtained by TMZ Vergara, 52 and Hamilton, 40 she's 52. I mean, she's unbelievable. Brave the cold and met up for a few with a few of his friends at a restaurant where they were on full display while sitting side by side by the window. Where did they go? Lunch date in New York City. Give us a restaurant name. Although there was no obvious pda, a source told the outlet that Griselda's actress barely touched her food because she was so enthralled by Hamilton. I mean, Lewis Hamilton is the one of the biggest stars in the world because F1 has gotten huge. Following their lunch, the two went separate ways, with Vergara climbing into her own black SUV and driving off for the outing. Vergara showed off her curves with a one shoulder black bodysuit paired with baggy jeans and a white coat. That sounds hot. I haven't seen a picture. She accessorized her look with her oversized sunglasses and a cross body bag. Is this her? If this is what she I mean, she looks unbelievable. 52. This is crazy. Hamilton, on the other hand, seemed cozy in a brown plaid shirt with a brown jacket, baggy jeans and a brown bucket hat. Vergara's recent date with Hamilton comes just a week after she told Access Hollywood that she was manifesting health, money and a boyfriend for the new year. And oh, or a lover maybe, she added at the time, confirming that she was now single. After months of hinting at her relationship status. Back in October, she first declared she was kind of single after being spotted with orthopedic Dr. Justin Solomon multiple times. Actually, I was talking yesterday about it, she told Us Weekly at the time. Because now I'm single. It seems as though Sofia Vergara is a whiz kid at saying the right thing to me. When you're like, I'm Kind of single. I'm single. Oh, no, I'm single. It's like her messaging to the guys that she's seeing now. I'd like to manifest a boy. You know, the. The order of operation here doesn't make sense. For that, she's like, I'm manifesting a boyfriend. Then she's seen out on a lunch with Lewis Hamilton. Okay, this is Page Six taking both stories, knowing that we're going to click on a Sofia Vergara story. But in July 2023, Joe Mangin Manganiello filed for divorce from Vergara after seven years of marriage, citing Eric. I hate that word. Eric. Erica, I can't say. Maybe I can say it. I just can't read it. Irreconcilable. Different differences got through it. Page Six had initially broken the news. By September, the Magic Mike actor was spotted out with actress Caitlin O'Connor, and they had been going strong ever since. The following month, Vergara was photographed on a date with Solomon, who was previously married to Bree Turner. I mean, as for Hamilton, he's been romantically linked to Shakira and Irina Shake. He also dated Nicole Scherzinger. I mean, he's got a type. I mean, that is literally a for you page. Shakira, Irina Shayk, and Nicole Scherzinger. I mean, that is one phylum of woman. Right? And. And Sophia Vergara. Don't they all kind of. Let's look at all three. Do me a favor. I mean, Irina Shake is the only one that I'm, like, not sure what she looks like. Yeah, they're all, like, dark hair, tan, nice eyebrows. Yeah, I mean, like, he likes a Latina woman. Scherzinger. I don't think she's Latina, but she kind of fits in that phylum. They all. That is so funny. Like, if you looked at your husband's for you page, and you're like, shakira, Irina Shayk, Nicole Scherzinger, Sofia Vergara. You'd be like, oh, okay, this is what he jacks off to. And this guy Lewis Hamilton is literally, like, living in hell. He's dating all the people on his for you page. Good for this guy. Ah, if only I knew how to drive a car. I could drive. I can't drive. I did that. I went in an F1 car. It will make you. It makes your balls sink right up your asshole. I like this story. Patrick Mahomes. This is one of those stories. It's like, Patrick Mahomes watched NFL playoffs at hospital While waiting for Brittany to give birth. Give birth to baby number three. I don't understand, like, the idea that Patrick Mahomes was in the waiting room. What else is he supposed to do? Is he supposed. I mean, labors take a long time. Like giving birth takes a long time. I don't think, like the way this headline, badger groves watch NFL playoffs at hospital while waiting for Brittany to give birth. The baby number three makes it sound like he's like, shush. The game is on as she's giving birth. Football is life. Patrick Mahomes watched the NFL playoffs in the hospital while waiting for his wife. Yeah. In the. Brittany crushed at the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback said during a press conference Tuesday, referring to the former soccer player going through labor and delivery. It's been cool to welcome another baby girl to the family and see how my other kids react to her and have a baby sister and stuff like that. So it's been a lot of fun. Although Patrick, 29, was there for his wife, also 29 during his team's bye week, he still wanted to keep a close eye on the wild card playoff games that took place over the weekend. It was cool that football was on TV while I was in the hospital, he said, so I was able to watch a little bit. Yeah. Then what else is he gonna do? Whether. When asked whether we're welcoming, this is one of those like stories to like, like, I don't know who it's supposed to like make feel good. Like, see, like, maybe I would think any husband in a waiting room is like, would the headline be, you know, Jared played Candy crush while his wife was going through labor. Like, I don't know. I don't even want to. Okay, okay. When asked whether welcoming baby number three was easier than the first two, what's he supposed to say to that? You did nothing. The third, the three time super bowl champ gave Britney all the praise. These are like tests. Like they ask him questions like this to see if he can up so that they'll have a better headline. They didn't get the headline they wanted, so they created a kind. The. The. The. As they created as as much a salacious headline as they could out of his third baby instead of Patrick Mahomes. This is. This is how evil. Evil. I don't know. This is how page six works. Okay, Patrick Mahomes has a baby. How are we going to get people to click on it? Oh, how about he was watching football while she was doing all the work. Okay, well, because they didn't get anything out of this interview, I don't even want to say that because, like, Brittany's doing everything he noted, right? Like, if he didn't say that, that would have been the headline. They're like, is it easier than the first two? Yeah, this one was nothing. Patrick Holmes thinks giving birth is nothing. Like, that would have been the headline. It was cool that we got the bi week just because you can kind of really focus in on just being at the hospital, being in the moment. It's a special moment that a lot of dads and moms experience. And you don't forget that stuff we are asking. It is crazy to me that Patrick Mahomes who it it is. You can go down a river of, like, making this about, like, you know, income inequality. Like, you could. The idea that a. That he is so wealthy that he now has to be a good politician because someone would want his interview. Like, this is a politician's answer. To be an NFL quarterback, you can't be a normal person. These are not normal questions to ask someone, and this is not a normal way to answer. It was cool that we got the bi week because you could just kind of really focus in on just being at the hospital, being in the moment. How about, yeah, we had a fucking baby. It's the third baby. She took the drugs. I sat there, I watched football, I got her water when she needed it. We're normal, you know, like, we're. This is how people have babies. Like, it's just really nice that we get to zone in. I don't know. It's. It's. It's crazy to me. Let's do another story. But before we do Herobred.
