I have some stories in front of me. I'm taping this Tuesday, May 5th, 3:28pm I'm traveling to LA. There's no ads today, so FYI, no ads. So just something to know. I'll do an ad for myself. I'm in LA for the Netflix is a joke festival. This first article has to kind of do with ticket sales. The Pussycat Dolls are the latest band struck down with brutal case of Blue Dot fever that's plaguing the music industry. I would say it's across the board. Now you're wondering Blue Dot Fever, should I get my vaccination? Do I make sure to wear a mask? Well, don't worry if you're not someone who sells tickets. It's so Blue Dot Fever, as best as I can explain it, is that when you book a show, especially a show for a theater or an arena, you can go to Ticketmaster and look at a map of all the seats that are available. You've all done this. You've done this. Maybe for my shows. A comedy club, you don't do it. So comedy club, you walk in. It's like general admission or it's a VIP seat situation. This is for theater and arena. And you get to know this. I have become like There's a piece of me that's. That's been obsessed with this. Like, I have. I have been the person where I go and check out, you know what you can see the blue dots represent a seat. You choose your seat, and I can go on there every day and check out. Oh, let's see if it's. If there are blue seats available. My LA show this weekend, you can see the whole back row, the blue dots are open. So if you see a bunch of blue dots, that means that artist has not sold a lot of tickets. I also, I remember one time I went to my ticket page for a show that I had coming up and I was like, wow, I can't believe we've sold half the room. And they were like, jared, no, we can make those blue dots as big or small as we want to, like. So I was like, oh, I guess I'm, you know, you know, Joe Loser who goes on the sign, like, look how well he's doing. But I'm actually not selling any tickets. So they were like, yeah, you can, you know, those blue dots, if they're there, that means they're open seats. So what's going on right now is bands, because they do big arenas and they do, you know. Pussycat Dolls struck down with brutal case of Blue Dot fever. That means that they saw the map, none of the tickets are sold. And then the Pussycat Dolls make a claim like, hey, guys, we came down with a little bit of the cold, so we're gonna cancel our whole European tour this summer. And the joke is to call it Blue Dot Fever because they got sick with. With selling no tickets. It's kind of mean. I mean, I mean, the Pussycat Dolls. I'm sure we can get to the article and if you want to come, you know, handle my case of Blue Dot fever. I'm going to be in LA this weekend. I'm doing the Netflix as a joke festival. And. And listen, those tickets, I'm very happy with how they've sold. I've heard a lot of different Blue Dot Fever horror stories that are going around. Not with you guys. Thank you, thank you, thank you for coming and being again complimented by every place that I go to. People love the people that love this show and love the people that love, love my work. So that really means a lot. I'm also in Jacksonville, Austin, Cleveland, the Hamptons, Miami, Red Bake, New Jersey, Foxwoods, Portland, Maine. Also the book tour. And I made this announcement on next week's you up the book tours. New York city, Boston, Philly, D.C. chicago, Denver. I think we're going to add some west coast states. But if you have a book club, it's got to be 20 or more people. Is it 10 or more people in the book club? I'll zoom in. You gotta send me 10 receipts that you've purchased 10 books and I'll zoom in and be part of your book club if you guys all read the book. So. And I'll take questions over Zoom for a half hour or whatever it is. Okay, so those are my plugs. Let's read the article about the Pussycat Cat Doll's career ending. They after we're told about the condition called Blue Dot Fever that's spreading the music acts Blue the Pussycat. Okay, now they've gotten rid of the article. This whole page 6 Hollywood really ruins me. And then I have to become an insider. They I just had the whole article here and then it went away. This is embarrassing. This is don't have a membership fever. After we're told about the condition Blue Dot fever that's spreading the music acts and their summer tours. The Pussycat Dolls are the latest group to come down with a bad case. The 90s act has pulled the plug on their reunion tour the same day as our report that Post Malone, Zayn Malik and Meghan Trainor have either paused or called off their tours altogether. On Monday, we reported a music insider saying, seems that Post Malone came down with a serious case of Blue Dot Fever, referring to those blue dots indicating available seats on a ticket master seating char. And it's contagious. I mean, I could give you a million reasons why this happens. I saw some guy on TikTok giving a whole dissertation about how Post Malone and Meghan Trainor have basically what he was referring to as elevator music and make no statements. So no one feels a connection with them big enough to go to the concert. I mean, you could say that to sound smart. I would say the economy is number one. Things cost more, there's less money in the bank. Your dollar goes, you know, not as far as it used to go. That's number one. It's always about money. But then you go, well, what with your disposable dollars, what who do you go to do? You go to the band. And the band that, you know, made that. That you agree with completely and that you're passionate about, of course. And if you're not passionate about Meghan Trainor, who had a whole song about all about that ass and then she took Ozempic or, you know, and. And Is not, doesn't have the ass she used to have before. And you're sitting there with a big old rump and you're like, well, she doesn't represent me anymore. I can understand how you get there. I think it's also when you look at all those acts, Zayn Malik, Megan Trainor, Pussycat Dolls, Post Malone, I don't know if it's as much, but there's, there's a nostalgia factor that does really well. And I think they all saw Hillary Duff going on tour and they go, okay, nostalgia's in. People want to go see the bands that they remember when. And I don't think that hits as hard for these bands. Maybe that's it. And, and then they go for bigger theaters. They go, well, Hillary Duff is doing this space. So these are all things said to me. And as, as a nobody. Jared, this act, this act, this act has done this theater. Do you want to do it? I mean, I'll say it for la. Netflix is a joke. Last year I did, or two years ago when I did the festival, I did the Palace Theater in downtown and I was like, please don't make me do that theater again. It's big, it's downtown. It's hard to get to. I had people telling me that it was a, you know, with traffic on a weekday, it was like, I gotta leave work at 4 to go to your show. I don't want to make anyone leave work at 4 to go to my show. So now I'm doing a Saturday night. I'm still downtown, I'm doing a smaller theater. I'm really happy with it. So I, I think that happens to the Pussycat Dolls where you go, you can overextend yourself. And that's a big part of Blue Dot fever. I, I, I mean, there's a bi, a billion reasons why they don't sell, but number one is economics. Now, the Met Gala was last night. The best dressed celebrities. I love a best dressed list. Always going to click on a best dressed list. The best dressed celebrities at The Met Gala, 2026, Rihanna, Haley Bieber and more. So let's take a look. Considering the Met. I, I mean, consider the Met Gala. To me, the, the fun of the Met Gala is my favorite part about the Met Gala is especially considering it didn't exist and then existed. I think social media has helped the Met Gala. The idea that you can right away weigh in with your opinion on these outfits. It wasn't something that you had to go pick up a magazine the next day it is easier to be someone who claims to be a fan of the Met Gala now than it was when the Devil wear Prada one came out. Everything's easier to claim. You have an interest in it now. You can go buy a tour concert T shirt at H and M. You can go to, you know, what is it called? You can go online right now and search, you know, rolling Stones tour, concert, T shirt, and you now have the T shirt. There was a time where if you didn't go to the concert, you didn't have the T shirt. You couldn't really fake it. And the same goes for the Met Gala. I am sure whenever the Met Gala was what it was, there was a point where it was like, this is an insider's night where we hear about it another day, and maybe you see a few outfits and you go, wait, there was a theme. Why do they dress weird? Oh, it's an art exhibit. It was really something you'd have to take interest in. Now you can have casual interest in a lot of different things. So my favorite part is how easy it is to try and say that you're this fashionista via the Met Gala, because what happens every year is someone that you never knew took an interest in this. Suddenly their stories are. And it's their take on all the Met Gala outfits. Suddenly we got Vera Wang within our presence. You didn't know this person had an opinion on anything. Your friend from college. All of a sudden, they're. They're Anna Wintour. And you go, jared, you're being sensitive. Of course I am. It just feels like every year around this time, you. Around the time on the Met Gala specifically, there's this, like, tucking the hair behind the ear, pursing your lips like, oh, did you see what Rihanna wore? I love her Versace. And you're like, wait, you like fashion? All of a sudden, you're Joan Rivers on the carpet. And it's a little bit. When you post a. A subtle Met Gala look to your story, it's a little bit. This is who I am. This is the branding, everyone's branding. And I. I've seen it for years. Now, considering the Met Gala 2026, dress code was fashion is art. So they have a dress code every year. Fashion is art to me, is what it has been every year is that we are doing this outfit you could never actually wear and you could only wear to a Met Gala. A nod to the museum's new exhibition on costume art. I can't believe that's any different than what people normally do. It's no surprise. Monday night's best red carpets looks lean, sculptural, painterly and cinematic. Some of the celebrities in attendance drew inspiration from specific works across artistic mediums. Sabrina Carpenter's Dior dress paid homage to Aubrey Hepburn's 1954 Sabrina film Sabrina, for instance. While Kendall Jenner's Gap studio gown was modeled after Winged Victory of some Samoth race. I don't know, I don't know what that is. And Gracie Abrams Chanel look likes look was like a Clint Clint painting come to life. This is stuff that I want to hear the person who posts their stories talk about. If they can pronounce the sentences I just read, then I'll take it back. I, I, I don't but I don't believe that all these people are suddenly these fashion insiders. Others use the exhibition's exploration of clothed and naked bodies as a jumping off point. Like Chase. I'm sorry the ads on page six get in the way so much like hotels dot com. I don't want a book now. I mean this podcast. I hope you enjoy it. I love doing this one. Okay, comment on Spotify. Let me know so called. So others use exhibitions exploration of clothed the naked bodies that's jumping off points. Like Chase Infinity clad in Trump Lowell Tom Brown and Haley Bieber, whose Saint Laurent look included a sculpted breastplate crafted from 24 karat gold. Co chair. Beyonce, one of the final stars to walk the carpet, even arrived in an Oliver Roustin roustening rousting creation featuring a sparkling silver skeleton. So let's look below are our favorite looks from the fashion's biggest night. So here's Rihanna. Rihanna who looks okay. So she's wearing a big circle. It almost looks like she's coming out of an artichoke. It looks very artichoke. Ish. We will post this picture. Maybe we'll make this the clip that goes on Instagram. This looks like a popcorn kernel that may have gotten burnt. It's a, it's just, it's a little bit vagina. Ish. Like, like a vagina from like a very. I, I don't know. I, I, I feel like all this is insulting. It is a beautiful piece, but it does look like she coming out of a trash bag. Like a silver trash bag. Okay. Beyonce looks like she's like in a Statue of Liberty. The if the Statue of Liberty went formal, this is what it would look like to me. I see the skeleton that they referenced before Chase Infinity. This is like, it is like multicolored rainbow. Beautiful. This is unbelievable. This could be worn. Wear it again. Chase. Haley Bieber with the breastplate. Very Wonder Woman. Very much a. Yeah, this is very much a superhero type of look. Sabrina Carpenter knows what she's doing. I mean, Sabrina Carpenter, she's going to have a high hip, a high hip cut no matter what. Nicole Kidman and Sunday Rose. I this looks like it could be a normal dress. It kind of looked like both of them were like, do you guys, do you just want to like, do something easy? The to me, the Nicole Kidman and Sunday Rose outfit at the Met Gala is more two women who put on cat ears for Halloween and didn't really get into the holiday. Gracie Adams, I mean, looks like she is in. She's a ghost in a horror movie that like knows something everyone doesn't like. This is like a dream sequence type of dress. This is very. Yeah, this is, it's a good look. Kendall Jenner. I, I thought I saw. I mean this is somewhat normal. It looks more wedding. It looks like we're at Kendall's wedding. Kylie is the one that I saw. She had the breastplate with the nips. That got a lot of play on social media. Emma Chamberlain. I like the dress. Emma Chamberlain's dress does look like it could be worn again. It's, it's almost, it's right at the edge of like not artsy enough. But it goes with her look. Like they, Emma Chamberlain's dress looks like they took her face and we're like, okay, we'll start here. Like it, it, it looks like the dress grew from her body. Paloma Elser. A nice dress. I mean, like I'm looking at this. Louisa Jacobson looks like she is in Dune and one of like the queens in Dune. That's that also wields a knife. And sza. I'm a fan. SZA looks more gala to me. She's wearing a plant on her head, like a full on like orchard of some sort. Like it, like there's plants on her head and then the dress. This is like what I would think of when I think Met Gal. So they give more. But I, I mean this is tough to do on a podcast venue. I, I, I like this article because it's kind of like what would you do? You know, like die hard. Knicks fan Ben Stiller roasted for skipping playoff game to attend Met Gala 2026. This is one of those, ask the person what they do and then take the people who would go to the Knicks game and take the people who would take the opportunity to go to the Met Gala, spread them apart and decide who you want to hang out with. Like, you can be a Knicks super fan and not go to game one of a playoff series that's seven games, best out of seven and still be a Knicks superfan. Like, it doesn't. This used to happen to me with the the Bachelor all the time yelling at the Bachelor, and I'd get a random dude, be like, oh, dude, don't you know that the NCAA championship is on? It's like, yeah, I can watch the highlights later. I can still be up on what happened. Or watch the second half and also do this thing that is, like, not gonna happen next week. I, I, I don't know. I, I guess you'd say the championship doesn't get a game doesn't happen next week. Die hard Knicks fan Ben Stiller was roasted on social media for sk. I mean, he, he should be roasted. I get it. But if I took those people who roast him and was like, hey, if you got a once in a lifetime opportunity to be at an event that literally, like, less than 10,000 people have ever been to, or, I don't know, I give a number and the person's like, no, I'd rather be Section 300 at the Knicks game. I'm like, I kind of think I wouldn't want to hang with that person. I would think that that person's not very thoughtful. If Ben Stiller picked the Met Gala over game one of the Knicks game, he may have to turn in his man card. Like, aren't you not gonna hang out with someone who uses the phrase man card? Barstool founder Dave Portnoy wrote via X on Monday night, like, the idea that Portnoy wouldn't be sprinting to the Met Gala is insane. This, this guy would be at. That's crazy, man card. And I think Dave Portnoy is better than that. I didn't even realize it was his quote. Like, I actually think I enjoy watching Portnoy go. I think that's a bad take. If he was invited, he would be there. Game one. Portnoy? Really? Sports Illustrated writer Jimmy Trainer, I've been on his podcast, also weighed in, tweeting, here's what I need to know. Would Bed Stiller blow off tonight's Nick game for the Met Gal if it was game seven and not game one? Please answer Ben Stiller. This is important. Thank you. See, that's an unfair question. That's not right, Trina. You're trying to stir shit up. That's Not a fair question. I was on Train, his podcast. He's. I. He's got, like, the miserable writer Persona. And this is sports talk, you know, 1998. Let me tell you, if it's game seven. Are you going to the Met Gala? Like, I. I just don't buy the take. I mean, the one thing that I would say is worth roasting is Ben Stiller went to the Met Gala dressed like he's someone's accountant. Like, he's allowed to kind of go zoolander with this. He's just. He looks like he's at his kid's bar mitzvah. He just went with a regular suit. Come on, have a little fun with it. If I went to the Met Gala, oh, man, I'd be coming on. I. I would come down the red carpet on one of those beds like I was Caesar, wearing a crown, holding out a ring to be kissed by people as I walk. Right now. I wish I was in Madison Square Garden. Still are admitted to USA Today, but it's beautiful to be here, too. That. I mean, spoken like a true husband. Like, what's he gonna do? His wife wanted to go to the Met Gala, as most wives would want. But also, he doesn't have to say that. I would say I wish them all. I. I don't know. I don't buy it. I don't buy anyone's. Take care. Everyone's lying. I'm the only one telling the truth. The actor and his wife, Christine Taylor, also made sure to give a nod to the basketball team with their ensembles. He wore a black suit with an orange tie. And again, I'm not buy. Literally, this is team not buying it on this whole fucking story. I don't buy. Yeah, well, I wore an orange tie. What? Like it's the pep rally at high school. Get out of here. Now. I like this article because it does kind of clue you into how the world works. If you want to know how the world works. Private details of Beyonce and Jay Z's ultra exclusive Met Gala. Private details of Beyonce and Jay Z's ultra exclusive Met Gala afterparty, Uncovered. To me, this is a deal between Jay Z and Beyonce's PR team and their contact at Page Six. They say to the Page Six people, we will give you a little bit of honey. We'll give you. We will spread. We'll give you some crumbs that you can make an article out of, because this. The exclusive details are going to be like, who catered? A couple people who were in attendance, where they did it a couple things about what people wore. It's going to be nothing. But this is. This is old school pr where you trade so that in the future, hey, we need an article out of you. Hey J. Because Jay Z and Beyonce need a certain form of pr. So this is them paying back or paying ahead to Page Six. I'll tell you, there's going to be nothing here. Beyonce and Jay Z hosted an ultra private Right? Ultra private. You're getting the inside look and only on page six. Met Gala after party where guests like Leonardo DiCaprio and Mick Jagger sipped on whiskey and partied into the wee hours of the morning. The couple and their A list friends were spotted arriving at Crane Club's members lounge through a blocked off entrance after fashion's biggest night on Monday, an OnLooker exclusively told Page Six, no, that's Jay Z and Beyonce's PR. People told them Leo arrived at the same time as Mick Jagger the spy Divulge, adding that DiCaprio's one battle after another. Co star Teyana Taylor also showed up for the Fancy Feet in New York City. I don't know what that word is. Feet. Fancy feet. F E with a posture over T E. Okay. Rihanna confirmed that she and ASAP Rocky would be after partying with Beyonce and Jay Z. There's only one after party, the Fenty Beauty founder told Complex on the red carpet earlier in the evening. We are also told Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter Blue Ivy, who walked the Met steps with her parents earlier in the night, was not seen arriving at the late night bash, most likely because it was past the 14 year old's bedtime. Yeah, this is all nothing info that gets them clicks. This is trading. Partygoers were kept concealed as they entered a constructed tunnel that was seen outside the venue, the source shared, noting that Paps couldn't snap the stars pictures due to the makeshift shield. We hear the glamorous event was a super late night celebration with guests seen departing around 4am local time. I mean, hip hop music exec Lenny Santiago shared a sneak peek inside the event by posting a video of himself walking through the tunnel into the party. The short clip posted to his Instagram story and set to Beyonce's 2011 song Party on Monday. Earlier in the evening, Jay Z and Bay stole the show at Manhattan's Metropolitan. Again, this is a fake article. This is I I'm telling you the single lady singer sparkled in a skeleton and then they go through it. This is a clickbait. I'm telling you it's a trade It's. Hey, we'll let you know where the party is. You can be outside. We'll let you know. Two names. Mick Jagger and Leo D. Done more on this. Blue Ivy, 14, defies major met Gala rule as she makes debut. What rule could Blue Ivy have broken that made people scoff? Like, in what world is a 14 year old doing something at the Met Gala that people are like, Blue Ivy. What? She. Who? She did what? Like, she. She ate carbs on the red carpet at the Blue. At the. Like, that's like. Is that what she did? She had a big old turkey sandwich. Blue Ivy. She's eating a turkey sandwich. No one's ever had bread on the red carpet at the Met Gala. She's eating bread. It's not even whole wheat. Who is this woman? What could it be she did? She mentioned a commoner. Blue Ivy. She. She told me she went to Starbucks and she knew the barista's name. She mentioned a name here that doesn't make a billion dollars a year. Oh, Blue Ivy, how could you? What is. What did she defy? Did she wear something that an actual consumer could buy? Blue Ivy. Is she wearing Lululemon? But any peasant could buy that. That's never happened before on a Met Gala red carpet. What is it? What do we think it is? I don't know. What. What rule? She. She had a Capri Sun. No one's ever drinking from a bag. On the blue. On the red carpet. Let's see. Blue Ivy, 14, defies major Met Gala rule as she makes debut at just 14 years old. Blue Ivy Carter has made her Met Gala debut, hitting the Met gala red carpet 2026. Alongside famous parents Beyonce and Jay Z, the teen made a statement all her own. For the high fashion event, Blue wore a cream bubble hem strapless gown by Balenciaga that boasted a structured bustier top. Okay, all of this seems normal. She added sculptural gold glittery heels that matched her mom's embellished skeleton. Inspired dress. For more bling, she accessorized with a diamond riviere necklace, rings, and a hand chain. Okay, all of this seems in line with what you wear at the red carpet for the Met Gala, she added a crop bomber jacket to match that she wore just off the shoulders as they as well as a cat eye sunglasses. Blue is one of the youngest people to ever attend the event, and recent rules state that the attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend. In 2018, Maddie Ziegler told the Hollywood Reporter that she can't go because I'm not old enough. At the time, event organizers told the outlet that it's not appropriate. It's not an appropriate event for people under 18. That sounds like they had their, like their, their principal come out. They had an old woman. It's not appropriate for. It is not an inappropriate event for people under 18. That sounds like the, the stickler in the cereal commercial that doesn't like people eating Lucky Charms at the library. What librarian gave that quote, it's not an appropriate event for people under 18. This event that is frequented by people wearing literally nothing on the red carpet is not appropriate. Like everything else is appropriate. They clarified that the exceptions would be made for those accompanied by their parents. And clearly an exception was made for Carter, whose mom was a co chair of the event alongside Nicole Kidman, Lauren Sanch, Lauren Sanchez Bezos, and of course Anna Win. So yeah, she came with her parents. 14. Wow, a child here at this event that means nothing. Like, who's on a high horse? We'll do one more. I love this article. It makes me. Because I know, like, listen, a lot of this event is to be press free for the designers. Kim Kardashian's Met Gala 2026 breastplate previously appeared on a 90s icon. So if your outfit has a story, we're more likely to hear about it. And Kim Kardashian was told, hey, wear this. It has a story. That's a nostalgia play. What, 90? I mean, she looks unbelievable. Kim Kardashian. She's blonde now. I mean. Yeah, I mean, whatever is who. I don't know what 90s icon. For the Met Gala 2026 red carpet, she interpreted the costume art theme with British pop artist Alan Jones, who created her metallic orange breastplate. She wasn't the first famous face to slip into the sculptural piece though. Jones photographed supermodel Kate Moss wearing the same look in a now famous 2013 portrait. That photo, titled Body Armor, sold for roughly $52,000 at a Christie's auction devoted to the supermodel and later became the signature image of Jones Royal Academy retrospective in 2014. So now I'm looking at, I gotta say, I'm looking at Kim. I'm looking at Kate. This is like, I mean, Kate Moss again, it's an iconic photo. She looks amazing. This is a type thing. Kim, I think, nailed it. And honestly, it's more homage than it is exact look. But this is what I'm talking about. Have a story. Now Kim can go down the carpet and her or her team can be like, this is a throwback to Kate Moss in 2013, the famous picture that sold for 52,000. It is. I mean, I don't. It makes me think, like, what would my thing be? Like, what would be. You have to have an Easter egg to kind of pop on the red carpet. And this is what the Kardashians know best. Have a thing that people will talk about because we want you to be talked about more than anyone else. And Kim Kardashian is like, I'm going to wear nostalgia. Nostalgia's in. Mine would be if they were like, it's old Hollywood. And it'd be like, Jared wore his favorite sweatpants that he wore in 2019 while watching Spaceballs at home. See that stain? It's an oil stain from having popcorn. He tried to melt butter on the popcorn, and it didn't go well. That stain represents Hollywood of old. Like, that would be mine. My Easter egg would be to make sure that I could wear something I was comfortable in. That would be my Easter egg. My Easter egg would be like, Jared wore pants from five years ago that he hasn't washed because he wanted to throw back to five years ago in the pandemic when people were living a different way. And he had these jeans back in his possession, and they've never been washed since because he's afraid of putting them in the dryer because they might shrink and they won't fit him anymore. Like, that would be my. Jared wore this T shirt that he has grown out of, and now he wears it as a headband. You know, like, it would all be ways for me to wear something that so I wouldn't have to wear a suit. Jared is wearing his favorite belt that has been stretched out and looks like it's been chewed on by a tiger to represent the old Hollywood of MGM and the logo of a lion. You know? All right, pop culture Thursday. Back next week, boom.
