Everyone I have on Chitchat Wednesday is just so much fun to talk to. It's a cool catch up. I mean, it's both sad and a pleasure that it takes a podcast for me to like, check in with friends and people that I really admire and enjoy. So we put those on YouTube. The YouTube channel has every chit Chat Wednesday. So you can see my guests, you can see me, you can see us interacting. And then every Saturday, I'm posting standup clips. So this week from, if you're listening on Pop Culture Thursday, you're going to get 15 minutes of me struggling in Alabama. I, I, I'm going to be honest with you. You know, not every show is a show that I'm like, I, I'm, I put in my best effort, but sometimes it just doesn't connect. And I would say Alabama is one of those weekends you can see. It's, it's awkward. You're going to get pieces of bits that I'm working on. And that's also, you know, it's on me too. I'm working on bits while also trying to put on a good show while also trying to connect with an audience. And sometimes, sometimes someone and I are like oil and water. I had one of those shows. There was a woman in the front who just like, was like, she just didn't get it and I didn't get how to wrangle her. It's like a, she was like a wild stallion that I was just trying to, you know, reel in. So, yeah, and so go. I mean, that's why stand up is such a fun live event. It is. You know, let's watch and see this, see if this guy passes or fails. It is the ultimate embarrassment to have a joke bomb. So that's on YouTube. And then Thursday's Pop Culture Thursday. I have, I have a bunch of stories. 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 stories in front of me, plus one that was sent in by you, the listener. If you have a Pop Culture Thursday story you want me to read, I got a couple people sending me that. Delray beach, where I'm sitting right now, was voted 10 best of the best beach in Florida. I mean, I'm not going to read that one because it's just saying Delray beach is great. I agree with that. I've been here for a little bit, and I just love the vibe here. It is not what you think it's going to be. I would say if you're on the west, on the west coast, and you're familiar with the beach towns of la, very comparable to Manhattan beach. And there's a restaurant scene here, there's a drinking scene here, there's a beach scene. I don't know. I really, I really, really like it. I. I would love. I would. I. I don't know. You know, I guess I'll get into this on coffee with J Train tomorrow. But I, you know, I think about my life with, like, a family here, which is crazy, as I'm, like, sitting here alone, single, and have nobody, but, like, I, like, think of that. And I'm like, I don't know if, like, you. That is a crazy thing. You're like, will the kids be happy here? Will the kids be okay? And it's like, Jared, you don't even. What are you talking about? You, the kids. You. You. You can barely. You. You're barely taking care of, like, you know, the kitchen in your new apartment. You didn't even clean the pots and pan. I'm. I'm off track, so. Oh, and so we're gonna do the articles from page 6. I am in Spokane, Washington, this week. Also, I'm going to be going to New York on Sunday and Monday, so I'll be at the seller then, which, if you want to, you got to go to their website for the comedy seller. But let me again, it is advocate for Jared Day, since there's no ad, and if you want to, like, help the show, this is a good way you go. You come to a live performance, Spokane, Washington, this weekend. Also, if you know anyone in these areas, had a weird interaction, I'm going to get into tomorrow on Coffee with Jen about, like, telling someone, like, yeah, send them to the show. And they're like, I don't know if they'd get it. I'm like, everyone gets it. Okay? Stop insulting me to my face. You know? Oh, will they get it? Do they get it? In spokan. Everyone gets it. I'm a professional comedian. I'm very good at what I do. So I mean, let me take a moment to be cocky. While I also say I'm working on it. I put me bombing on YouTube. You can watch. You can. I got all. Listen, I'm all. I'm all things. I suck. I'm good. Denver, Colorado, would love for those shows to sell out because I have sold out every time I've gone there. Would love for that to happen again. San Francisco, my favorite city in the country to do stand up. I just love San Francisco. Providence, Rhode Island. Winnipeg, Manitoba, which I'm a first timer going there. Kansas City, Mo. Richmond, Virginia, why? And then I start the theaters. DC, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Chicago, Durham, Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale. Those tickets will be up soon. I think it's changing from Saturday to Friday. Royal Oak, Columbus, Ohio, Orlando, San Diego. That gets us to the New Year. And then, you know, go to my website. I'm coming. I'm all over the country. That's it for me, advocating for me. Let me start with this story, since we are this kind of combines the world the JCU, the J train cinematic universe, a sequel to the 1997 film My Best Friend's Wedding, is an early development with Celine's Song, known for past lives, and the materialists attached to write the script. According to Indiewire, while the project is in the very early stages, it has garnered attention due to the popularity of the original film and the success of Song's recent work. I am so excited to hear this. Here's the thing, I'm not like a movie buff. If you've been listening to J Train for a while, you know my good friend the Baby who's our resident movie reviewer here on the show, you can go look up episodes he's been on. He is like the movie guy and who I go to for all my movie information. But it's funny because. Because I've seen the Materialist because we just talked about My Best Friend's Wedding and the Materialists on you up. I think that episode comes out this Friday, tomorrow. The material is kind of like discussion that Jordana and I have. I that makes me even more excited about. So My Best Friend's Wedding was great, but it did make you think, like, what happens to this woman? This woman who is single, did this crazy thing, flew to Chicago to ruin a wedding for someone else. It doesn't work out. They run away, they get married. What's up with her life? What's up with Julia Roberts life There is room for a sequel here. And you know, what if they had gone in the direction of fun and whatever and we laugh, fine. But then you bring in Celine's song. And I'm not like one of these movie guys, but like, I now am getting why movie people think the way they do. Um, the. She's kind of a cynical person. The way the Materials is a cynical movie. It looks at dating and relationships from this mathematical standpoints that people were let down by and. And. And is more and not me. I found it interesting in the way she. I mean, I thought the ending got a little away from that. But Celine's song comes with a critical eye to. To dating, which I really enjoy. So it would be kind of cool to see Julia Roberts from that angle of like, hey, you're older. The person who's making it, you know, did she get married? Did she date anyone? Did the, you know, is, you know, the gay friend still her friend or did. Had. He had it with her? So I, I'm. That's a story that I'm like, okay, cool. That and the match, which you know, of putting a woman who has made movies about love that aren't exactly warm and cuddly. And if you think of My Best Friend's Wedding, it's not a warm and cuddly movie, admittedly so in the movie, she's like acknowledging I'm the problem here. This could be a fun thing. So very excited for that. We'll go to this next story. Also, I'm gonna do like a short Bachelor in Paradise recap of all the couples at the end of this episode. Let's go to. I love this article. I love this article because I. I want to know. I don't people really feel a certain way about Gwyneth Paltrow. And I know this because we posted a video last week of the Gwyneth Paltrow, you know, posting her food video on the Internet and getting weird feedback or like. But people really hate love. They have passion for Gwyneth Paltrow. And I love this story because it is so page six in its nature. Gwyneth Paltrow's savage nickname for Winona Ryder revealed in a book. And because what could the Savage nickname be? That's really my question. Like, it would have to be, you know, because I know Winona Rider, known for stealing. So you call her like, I guess what I would think, you know, do I think Gwyneth is mean? No, she doesn't really let off a mean Persona or that's what she doesn't really, like, tell. You know, it's not really out there that. But we assume she's kind of mean. I would say it's got to be something to do with her stealing. So I would say it's gotta be like, you know, I don't know what would be savage? That's the thing. Like, you know. You know, would it be like, you know, Danny Ocean? Like, is it like. Does she call her, like, you know, the. You know, the Wet Bandit, like. Gwyneth Paltrow's alleged nasty nickname for Winona Ryder was a V was revealed in Amy Odell's baby bombshell new biography about the goop founder titled. Gwyneth Paltrow allegedly started calling her ex pal Vagina Rider. That. Okay, didn't see that coming. That is pretty savage. I mean, referring to anyone as vagina as their first name, you go, whoa, whoa, whoa. Like, even the word, it's kind of medicinal. After suspecting Ryder was making up stories for attention in 1990s. Hold on. That sentence is crazy. Paltrow allegedly started calling her pal Vagina Rider after suspecting Ryder was making up stories for attention in the 1990s, per the Daily Mail. Honestly, okay, you just heard me have trouble coming up with a nickname for Winona Ryder based on her stealing thing. So let me acknowledge giving someone a nickname just off the top is difficult. Vagina Rider. I don't know how you get to that from, like, how. How do you get to that from your making up stories? Like, I. To me, Winona Rider, she makes up stories. You know, I'd call her Dr. Seuss. You know, she's got an imagination. You go down that road. But to call her vagina Rider, you go, whoa. Why do you call her vagina Rider? Well, she makes up stories about me. Okay, I guess. I guess vagina makes sense. Like, you'd be like, well, that. You just want to call her a vagina and that. This is the thing with, like, the word like, when you call someone A, the feedback from the person who wants to make you feel bad would, like, be like, oh, do you think the vagina's weak? So when you call someone vagina rider because they make up stories about you, you go, I. I guess you're saying vagina's bad. Odell claimed the duos. And this is from a biography that I don't think was authorized, but I'm not positive. Odell claimed the duo's fallout happened shortly after Paltrow's split from Brad Pitt, whom she dated from 94 to 97 and moved into Ryder's New York City apartment. So they are closer. They. They show them holding hands. I don't know. That woman hold hands thing, I never got that. At the time, Ryder, now 53, was dating Matt Damon, while Patrick Paltrow, now 52, began a romance with Damon's best friend, Ben Affleck. Man, Affleck and Damon just were rolling. Just those two. Good for them. Like, I. I think that you. You think of, like, whose life is heaven? Like, who was like, if. If you think of reincarnation and you're like, okay, how I live today will be how I'm brought back. I'll be gifted with getting brought back in heaven. But heaven is actually earth. You just get the. You know, the vessel of a great light. I mean, I think Matt Damon, Ben Affleck. That's got to be heaven. That's got to be it. Or maybe you're looking at me going, jared, that's what you consider heaven. You know, having sex with a bunch of hot chicks in Hollywood with an Oscar, you know, to your name. Yeah, I. I don't know. I guess maybe there's more in life. According to Odell, Ryder and Damon once got into a fight, and she rushed to tell him she had been robbed. Well, that kind of goes with Winona Ryder being the thief. Like, you say, someone robbed you because it gets you. Odell claimed this happened twice, and Damon was empathetic to his then girlfriend. Meanwhile, Paltrow alleged, but believe, allegedly believe that the Stranger Things star was making up the robberies for sake of attention. Oh, my God. Why would she want more attention from her boyfriend? Maybe Damon's an. Damon consoled her. But Gwenth and Affleck believed Ryder fabricated the robberies as a ploy for attention. There's no proof of this. Odell writes in the book, per the Daily Mail. To me, if you're a. Well, Winona Rider again, to bring it back. I don't mean to bring up the. The. The thievery that she's known for, but, like, wasn't she the one that stole? Am I crazy? Am I mix if I find out that she's not the one stealing and I just spent 10 minutes. Yeah, she was arrested for shoplifting over $5,000 worth of designer items for Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills. To me, when you're Winona Rider and you're caught stealing $5,000 worth of stuff, you have a actual addiction. You have a problem. So to say that she was lying about the robbery to Damon to Get attention. I think she's lying about it to like kind of. Yeah, I, I think that goes in line with stealing $5,000 from sax with Avenue. Her friendship with Ryder would only deteriorate further when and Gwyneth gave her the nickname Vagina. Ride her again. I don't get the nickname. And it's not because it's vagina. I just don't. If. If Winona was known for wearing short dresses where her vagina hung out, you go, oh, yeah, vagina rider. But to be known for fabricating stories, reps for Paltrow and Ryder weren't immediately available to page six elsewhere in the book. Odell claims, per people that Paltrow swiped the lead of 1998's Shakespeare in Love from Ryder after originally turning it down. Wow. And that was her big role. I think this book, good publicity for the book. It makes you, it does make you kind of want to read it. Okay. I wasn't going to do this story, but it's popping out at me just because this is nostalgia. Sally Jesse Raphael Talk. Iconic talk show Host Sally Jesse Raphael, 90, looks unrecognizable in rare photos amid her retirement. How should Sally Jesse raphael look at 90 years old? I know, I'm clicking on it. I do want to see the before and after. I, but I, I don't. How about Sally Jesse Raphael, 90 and then we can do the rest. Like, I don't think. Yeah, they sh. She looks like a 90 year old woman, but she looks like, oh, look at, she's got her hair bleached. She probably thinks that's close to what her color was when she was like in her prime. It's like a red. No, she can't think that. If she thinks it's close to her color in her prime, then she's lost her mind. I mean, to me, unrecognizable. Yeah. Because of the hair. No, because she just looks like older. Cause they put a picture of her. I gotta say, we are aging so differently than we used to. Cause they're showing Sally Jesse Raphael hosting her show and she does look like an older woman. It looks like she'd be called grandma by someone. And that was like this was like 30 years ago. So you go. And then she look at her today and she looks like again, she's been a grandma look. I think like during Golden Girls times, grandma was just a look for like ever. I like this story headline because I can't imagine what's being admitted. Justin Bieber admits he can be extremely selfish after Confirming marriage struggles with Haley. I can't believe for half a second that Justin Bieber in any way looked at a reporter and said, oh yeah, we're having problems. Problems like I don't think that happened because you read that article title and you go this is all false, but he's confirmed it to someone in some way. And I that's what interests me. Justin Bieber admitted he can be self centered in a reflective new social media post. Thanking Jesus for his patience with me this morning he wrote via X Tuesday, I can be extremely selfish and impatient, yet Jesus always has his arms open toward me. I mean, and then it's a picture of him walking down a stairway with a tree. I mean this is one of those posts where you're like, man, he must be insufferable. I anyone who just is like apologizing to Jesus in a public way, I I'm not saying this as a Jew. I'm saying this as like a human being living on earth. I think it's, you know, you go to church, you have your time with Jesus, this type of post. So when does he admit that he has troubles in his marriage? And look at I, I like a post like this by Justin because it is awful, but it also like it's like bees to honey. Social media users took the comments thread with supportive messages for the baby crooner. This is the, this is the Justin Bieber I stand, wrote one person, while another remarked, I ima imagine walking through a forest and seeing Justin Bieber. I mean, talk about two ends of the spectrum. Yes, you're right, Internet commenter. It would be weird if you're walking through the woods and there's Bieber, the other person I would love. You know how you get like a blue check mark on Instagram if you're like to verify that you're real. I think we should have more check marks. Like let's have a check mark that's like red that goes next to your name. If you've commented, this is the Justin Bieber I stand when he does a Jesus post. Like, how about a little cross next to your name? If there's a Bible verse in your bio on Instagram that would let us all know who we're dealing with. Like if someone commented on my post that they were horribly upset with what I post on the Internet and then I just saw the little Jesus cross next to their name, I go, all right, we're two different people. We have two different versions of kind of what's going on and the allowable you know how you can talk and this is how they live their life. And I would be less like, oh, what an. I'd be like, yeah, they live their life that way. They, they tell, you know, they send us, they reference a quote in their Instagram bio. So I'm okay with them not liking me. I think that would be good. Let's do so there's a lot of, there's going to be a lot of Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan stuff in the atmosphere because Freakier Friday is out. I heard it's good. I heard it's good. I say that like someone came and whispered that in my ear. I saw one person say they loved it on their Instagram stories. And now that's my review. That's who, yeah. Guy on Insta woman on Instagram gives one thumb up. That would be on the poster. Lindsay Lohan reveals the game changing advice she got from Freakier Friday co star Jamie Lee Curtis. Now this is like from a PR agent. This is the movie studio feeding page six quotes. So let's see. I, I read a story like this. Not because I'm like, maybe this advice will change my life. No, I read this cause I wanna see how not game changing this advice is like, I'm more curious to what game changing advice deserves that description. Lindsay Lohan has never forgotten the advice Jamie Lee Curtis gave to her over 20 years ago on the set of Freaky Friday. She said, how you show up on set is how the whole crew feels. You control the energy that goes on set. So always bring your best self. The actress, 39 exclusively told Page Six at a special screening of Freakier Friday Monday evening. I gotta say, the advice matches the description. Good for Jamie Lee, good for Lindsay Lohan, for, you know, you know, remembering that. I think she's right because here's what Jamie Lee knew. Jamie Lee has been the star and she noticed that when I come to the set and bring it, everyone else is bringing it. Because I'm the CEO of this movie. I'm the name that pushes tickets. And she's saying to Lindsey, who is the name that pushes tickets, hey, I'm gonna tell you a lister to a lister. When you suck, everyone here is gonna suck. This is like Tom Brady level, like advice. I, I think this is, listen, we would all love to live our lives the way Jamie Lee Curtis has told us to live our lives. I, I think to me this, this is good advice. Now Hulk Hogan has passed. I gotta say we, you know, I am a wrestling. I would say I'm I'm. I'm a former wrestling fan who has never turned his nose down at the wrestling world. So I like wrestling. I've loved wrestling. I keep an eye on the stories. If they make it into mainstream, I have an idea of what's going on. I have my. I wouldn't say my fingers on the pulse of wrestling, but I do have an interest in how wd WWE is doing new leagues that rise up. Who's the main character? Like, who's the Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan a lister. That might be something you don't know about me. When I heard Hulk Hogan died, I was like, oh, that's upsetting. And then the problem becomes then like 30 million stories about how bad he was and what a bad guy and all these things. And I'm like, I think there's. At that point there should be two different Internets, because I. Someone described. I heard a description of Hulk Hogan on, I think Dave Ramsey, who does the wrestling writing for the Ringer. He was on Bill Simmons podcast, and I listened to that podcast and they had a Hulk Hogan section that I was very interested in hearing them talk about and just kind of rehash his life. And they called him a living, breathing comic book character. And I like that description because that makes me. That. That actually makes a lot of sense. He was this bright, you know, to take your hand and put it to your ear. The here's how. I just don't like when you have these people writing bad things about him in death because it takes. It tries to mute us going, what a guy who changed the world. Now, whether you agree or disagree with him in later in life, it sounded like to me, a lot of the stories I read, I was like, ugh, he sounds like a tough hang. Okay, at a minimum. But no one can put their hand to their ear to listen for something without thinking of Hulk Hogan. If you even do a twirl of the wrist. You have now acknowledged Hulk Hogan's existence. He has. We have to acknowledge his effect on the world. And I think that's probably why he kept up. The look is like, you do get addicted to having affected the world. Like, I mean, the mustache with the hair is like a crazy thing to keep up. But, you know, then the article will be written like, Sally Jesse Raphael, Terry Belaya looks awful. You know, like, no, he's an older man, so what's he supposed to do? Hulk Hogan. Oh. So the title that got me here, why Hulk Hogan's estranged daughter Brooke was removed from late Wrestlers will Report now, they had a reality show where it was, like, him and the family. And this was in, like, better times for the Hogans. Because I think. I think that reality show, like, brought it all down. Like, I think there was too much like, you, can you stay? What do they say? Live long enough to become the villain, you know? Brooke Hogan was reportedly removed from her late father Hulk Hogan's will, but she's okay with that. The Brooke knows best. Yeah, she had a show. The Brook Knows Best star asked to be removed from her dad's will in 2023 because she didn't trust those around him and didn't want to be involved with the financial mess. Insider told tmz. Listen, the one thing you know about wrestling is that, like, there's Hulk Hogan who, you know, made tons and tons of money, and then there's these other guys, and it's gets a little seedy. So, like, that makes some sense that she's like, he's got people around that, like, I have to deal with, and he can't just be my dad. However, Brooke is still expecting to receive some funds from a life insurance trust that Hulk took out on himself. Brooke is named as one of the beneficiaries and is planned to put the modest amount of money she should receive towards her children's college. I mean, the fact that she's got kids now. This is making me feel old, weirdly. Yeah. They show them on the red carpet. She was like. There was a moment where he tried to kind of make her the Stephanie McMahon of the Hulk empire. She's 37. Yeah, we were around the same age. Whose real name is Terry Jean Belaya. Yeah, we're estranged for several years prior to his death Thursday due to several issues, including his alleged treatment of her. Yeah, there was a lot of talk about. I mean, listen, that's why you are. Obituaries are written. You get the full story of the person. I'm not saying to not talk about it. I'm saying if someone goes, man, Hulk Hogan dies. And then you just attack them with all this negative. You're like, can I just, like, can I have a moment to grieve my childhood? Now, this is a story that I was sent by V. Our producer, Pamela Anderson. Liam Neeson figuring things out along the way and budding romance from a source. This is two people that you go, okay, I can see how this happens. And they look like. They look like they've been. Been together. Look, there's a picture with them on the red carpet. I think they met on this movie, he's so. He is the new Naked Gun. Which makes sense if you're like Liam Neeson, Naked Gun. Well, he did that one comedy video where he's like acting super serious and he's trying to do improv. And that video is like a legendary Internet video. But also, Leslie Nielsen was a dramatic actor, so it makes sense to have a dramatic actor do the Naked Gun reboot. Pamela Anderson, Liam Neeson are figuring things out as their off screen relationship blossoms, a source tells Page Six. The source adds the Anderson. That Anderson has been quietly crushing on her Naked Gun co star since before cameras even started rolling on the new film. Getting closer to him has been on her mind since she was cast, says the source. He's Liam Neeson. That's the source. She has always found him attractive and interesting. I gotta say, sometimes you see two people get together and you go, yes, yes, I get it. And they're on a funny movie, they're doing gags. I'm excited. I'm gonna go see the Naked Gun. I'm gonna go in theaters and see it. I'm in. Let's do. Okay, we got. I want to do a Bachelor in paradise recap. Because that's gonna be in the title of this episode. So if you're new here and you're enjoying. Thank you. Subscribe. That's the best. That's really helpful subscribing to the show. So it's just waiting for you. And I'm not saying you're gonna listen to every episode. That's not my. I don't want to sound like I'm begging either. I'm just saying, like, here's another Jamie Lee Curtis. This headline annoys me. I hate a headline that like. Okay, what was the other option? Jamie Lee Curtis feels more beautiful at 66 than ever before. What the fuck did you think Jamie Lee Curtis was gonna say? She's asked, how do you feel at, you know, at 66, at this age? I'm more beautiful than ever in my life. Okay, cool. Like, how about. There's no. I. I don't even have interest in this story. Just for. The only interest I have is that's a crazy thing to put. And like, again, I want to go back to something I said earlier. If this title makes you feel good, I want that next year name on social media next to your name. It should say a little symbol above the age of 18. Below, that could get dangerous. I agree. We don't want kids on the. But I'm saying, like, the fact that I have kids fighting with me on tick tock. Like, I just want to know. Oh, you're just a kid. I'll. I'll move on. I want to know if Jamie Lee Curtis feeling more beautiful at 66 than ever made you feel good. Because then I'm like, oh, you're, you're crazy. You're. You're too emotionally, like, guarded. You're not cynical enough. I want to know if you have a Bible verse. I mean, the quote's gonna be, what? Like, what was you gonna say? No, I feel uglier than ever. My tits sag. Like, she's not gonna say a thing. Also, Jamie Lee Curtis genetically fine. Like, I, I, you know, like, like her body type is not the type that, like, went through transitions. And this, this has been her body forever. And I'm sure to her, it's not been her body forever. I know everyone ages their own way, but I'm saying this is, like, this is not. I consider the source on this one. Like, I never thought of. Like, I want to hear how, like, Ricky Lake feels about her body. Like, I, I, I think that's a more honest and relatable thing to me. Jamie Lee Curtis is loving where she's at. I am so much more beautiful now than I have ever been in my entire life. I mean, that's, to me, that's just crazy to say in general. Like, who says that about themselves? Like, I feel more beautiful. I am so much more beautiful. I, I don't know if that's your. She told Page Six. I don't know if that's up to you to say. I, I think that's a little cocky. She told Page Six exclusively at a special screening of Freaker fr. Okay, we know again, they're gonna be in the ether. They're in the atmosphere. We're gonna have to hear from Jamie Lee Curtis and how she's the most beautiful woman on earth. I know that's not what she said. All right, last story, and then we'll go to the Bachelor in Paradise. Kind of like, short recap that I have. I'm all, you know, I'm always inclined to click on a Tom Brady story. It's taken a second to come up. Um, Tom Brady takes a jab at ex wife Giselle Bunchen in candid Letter about being a great parent. Now, I can't believe he did this. Like, I can't believe, but there's a lot of Tom Brady stuff that I didn't see coming. Tom Brady took an apparent swipe at his ex wife Gisele Bunchen in a candid newsletter about well, it's not candid. It's a newsletter that he's Anyone who signs up probably for his substack gets Canada newsletter about parenting his children. I think part of being a great father is being a great example of doing what it takes to take care of your family, the former NFL star wrote in his in his 199 newsletter released Tuesday. So anyone can have it. I chose to do it by playing football, he continued. My decision to the sport. My dis. I'm sorry, I just had a brain fart. Okay, ready? I chose to do it by playing football. So he's saying I played football to provide for my family, he continued. My dedication to the sport, the hours of practice, the moments when I was laser focused. Those were times when I believe I was doing the best possible thing for my family and my kids by prior by prioritizing my profession and teaching by example what it takes to be a really good at your job, what it takes to follow through on commitments, what it takes to be a great teammate and showing them also by example that work is a big part of all of our lives. He is not wrong with anything, he said. Where's the swipe? Brady, who shares son Jack, 17, with ex Bridget Moynihan and kids Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12, with Bunchen, added that reading bedtime stories and helping them with homework are not the only ways to be a great parent. I I mean we're leaning into everything I did was great and if you have an issue with that, like, I don't know, I I, I I. And neither is winning Super Bowls or mv. Okay, so he says reading bedtime stories and helping them work are not the only ways to be a great parent, and neither is winning Super Bowls or MVPs. Being a great football player didn't make me a great dad, but how I became a great player certainly had an impact from showing up day in and day out to do whatever it took to be better, be successful, be a role model and to provide, you won't be perfect. Nobody is. You will fail and disappoint people along the way, the NFL Great continued. But if you stay committed to your goals over time, even when your priorities shift and which they do at times, he's got he really this is like a PR agent. Then you can be confident that you are living a life of integrity and purpose. Reps for Brady and Bunch and did not where's the dig at Bunchin? How is that a dig at her she was disappointed after then husband reversed his retirement I I don't know is a very violent sport she told out so where's the swipe I don't see that as any I I don't know. Okay this article is garbage. I think the post from Brady is garbage. I I don't care. I hear what he's saying but no new news. I think to me Jamie Lee Curtis gave better life advice than Tom Brady did just now and I and I mean that a hundred percent while also being the biggest Tom Brady fan of all time. So I will say this is one point Jamie Lee Curtis one nothing Jamie Lee Curtis and Tom Brady. Okay, let's get to the review of okay, I'm just gonna go bachelor in paradise. Let me just say I have K York City coming on chit chat Wednesday in I think next week or the week after we're going to discuss high level what we think about the show, how we feel about the changes which I will say as a preview, I love the changes. I think it looks good. I think the resort is fine. I thought the other resort was kind of getting in the way. It was getting dingy and it became too much of a character. It was fun to make fun of it until it was like we've done it already. If I'm looking at Bach in paradise, Brian and Parisa to me are the Brian is the most interesting person on this season because he is acting as if he is a reality show contestant before the Internet existed. This guy is on here to hook up. He is lying and saying he wants to be in a relationship, there is no way he is looking towards the future. Or maybe lying is a strong word. I would say he is. He is telling these women he's looking for more. And Paris goes back with him to this VIP suite and she's like trying to get to know him. And even when she says we're going to be vulnerable, going to be talking and he's like, ugh, I guess so. He's like a toddler who has to like, come on, it's time to take your nap. Come on. Really? I can't suck on your titties. We gotta talk. This guy Brian to me is like as far as boyfriends are concerned, not great. As far as reality TV people, he's fantastic. Dale and Kat. Kat was very unlikable the last time she was on this show. She, I I just all I remember is being like that woman is someone this is a warning. She has come back and she's been better. But she chose the guy who would make her angry. Like she went with a guy, you can tell, like her dating issues. Because dating Dale, to me, Dale, we only got like a brief taste of him on Claire Crawley season and then he disappeared with her. He was whisked away with her. They get married, they go away. I've met Dale. He came to my show after he ended up with Claire and then they broke up. And I remember he was like, oh, she's crazy. And it's like, no, no, no, no, no. Dale, you are a part of your own problems. We are seeing this on this show. Dale is like an elder statesman. He's done pretty well. He's got some money in the bank. He's. And you can tell he thinks, it feels as though he thinks he is better than everyone else there. So when the women approach him, he's like, of course they are. When the men, when he's put like side by side by some of the men, he doesn't really sweat it because. And that even makes him look even hotter to these women. So it's just funny that he's like this like successful guy because he goes on brand trips. It's like, it is weird. You. He is the example of like how small this bachelor reality TV bubble is because the people on the show are looking at him like he is a self made business billionaire mogul. When it's like, no, he's done okay in the bachelor world. Like he's not Hannah Brown. And a lot of that had to do with his timing. Also, you can tell he is just magnetic. Like women just melt for him from a look and he loves it. Jeremy and Bailey, I mean, Jeremy has looked like a baby the whole season. Bailey exudes young woman. To me she seems too young for even Jeremy. Jeremy. I, I, the whole thing was Susie. He just looks like a baby. He looks like a brat. And it's gonna, I think it's gonna catch up with him. It just feels like he's just leading Bailey along to stay on the show, which that's part of the game in itself. John and Leia. I like John. John just seems like a fun energy. It doesn't seem like he, I mean, I think also he's let off the hook from being good looking and being someone that everyone kind of like could see them with. So. But also because he's gotten nobody, he has no one to answer to, so he can't really fail. Leia was cool. I remember her from her season. She was fun. Then I think they could get together and Win the money because there's a money element. There's a cash prize. I think if they just kind of like conspire to be, like, cool with each other and go for the money, they could be our winners. Spencer and Jess should just leave the show. They just, they're just. I, I don't need their boring conversations there. I. The. They like each other. Honestly, they should be the digital. I've always said this. They need a digital portion of the show that you can just like, hey, Jess and Spencer, we're gonna give you an apartment. We're gonna. It's gonna be in the Atlanta side. We'll put it in Alpharetta. Now we can just check in on you on YouTube and see how you guys live together and see what it's like when you get your phones back. Andrew and Alex. Alex just seems awesome. Andrew has been on this show. He's a good dude. They seem like the right match. I think just like John and Leia, they could just, like, agree, hey, let's get the money and then we'll figure out the rest later. And that's probably the best option for them. But again, like, I could, I could kick them off Andrew and Alex. I could kick off Spencer and Jess and bring in a whole new bunch of crazies to see how it interacts with John and Leia. Like, I would like that. The Golden's are in a tough spot. I love the interactions with the Golden's, but it seems like we have a problem where some of them are here to fall in love and some of them are here to hook up. Like April, Keith are like, here to hang. Like Gary a little bit. Feel like they're here to hang. Like Kathy, Leslie, they're like zoned in for, like a relationship. Kim. And there's no in between. There's no one taking this medium serious from the Golden. So every storyline with them feels like we don't really need it because it never feels like a match of what they're looking for. Like, Kathy's looking for someone to sit on her couch while she makes dinner and yells at that person. And it's like no one's here for that. But she claims she wants an active man who's got a spine. She doesn't want that. She wants a nothing that will just listen to her scream and yell all day and it's not going to happen here. And then the other guys on the other side of it, they want someone to, like, have this adventurous, fun, you know, resort hookup. And she's not that either. So it's a mismatch, but it's tough to find with that, people of that age. So that's my, like, brief Bachelor in Paradise recap. There is going to be more with K York City. She's coming on Chit Chat Wednesday when we get like, kind of like, how is this as a show? It's more about that. So pop culture Thursday, back next week, boom.
