You're a nosy. You want the full sitch? Come to Pop Culture Thursday. Hello and welcome to the J Train Podcast. This is J Train Jared Freed coming to you live from the West Village. Manhattan. That's right. Every Wednesday. What Wednesday? Every Thursday. It's Thursday. That's right. I'm taping this on a Wednesday. But it is Thursday and it is a pop culture Thursday. I love hearing the feedback to this iteration of the show because it is the most new version of what I have done over podcast over the years. I've done mailbags since I've started doing podcasts. I've done the, you know, the, the luxury lounge and then ticked off Tuesday. I've done that. I've practiced that trust chitchat Wednesday. I've been talking with guests for over a decade on podcasts. Pop Culture Thursday is new. It's new to me. It's new to you. The listener, maybe from me, which is so. I really appreciate when people tell me they like this day of the J Train cinematic universe. This, this version of the show. So thank you, thank you for the feedback. Thank you for enjoying Page Six. This is what we do if you're new. Uh, I open up Page six, I go to the headlines and we riff. That's it. I read I, I, I and it's purely, a lot of the riffing has become why they chose the headline they chose and the articles. I, the one thing that I've changed is Page six has a, the right side of the page has the trending now part. And that is like a self fulfilling prophecy because if you go to this trending now part, you're going to click the top one and you know, what may, you know, then it goes ahead. I, you're more like, I guess, you know, it's a chicken or egg conversation. But I do enjoy seeing what are people reading, what are people getting zoned in on the first article we're going to get to. And in the business they call this a tease because I'm not going to read it, I'm just going to read the headline. This is me, you know, being Page Six. This is me doing some clickbait journalism. Kylie Jenner screams in pain as her feet get stuck in Met Gala 2025 stilettos. If you're like, what do people care about? That's the number one thing people care about. And again, they wrote Screams in Pain. It could have been based on how Page Six does things. It could have just been like, that could have been the scream in pain. Oh my God, my feet hurt. That could be it. So before we get into anything, I am going back on the road. Back on the road. I don't know if I came off the road on the road. It's a new hour from what I taped in December. It's all about going to Europe alone. That. That's the premise on, you know, generally of what I'm talking about. I'm talking about my parents still. I still. The family stuff. It's definitely worth bringing your parents. It's definitely coming. If you've ever, you know, anyone can go. Listen, I do shows for everybody, so I'll read you where I'm going. San Jose, I've never been there before. Very excited. I know it's close to San Francisco. I don't have that relationship in my mind as a Northeast guy. Like, I've never thought, like, San Jose was always just like its own thing. I never had a thought in my brain of where it was on a map. So. So that's kind of interesting in the way you think of things. Like, I don't know, like, is someone in San Jose, like, hearing Hartford and like, not even knowing where that is. Like, I know where San Francisco is, but maybe someone in San Jose is insulted that I just compared them to. To Hartford. I don't know. I'm just saying I've gotten a lot of message from. I will be going to San Francisco. I don't miss San Francisco. I'm not going to miss that. One of my favorite cities in the country. But I will be coming to San Jose coming up at the end of the month during. During the holiday weekend. Also Pittsburgh. I'm going to be going on DVE morning show. I just texted with Randy Bauman. I'm so excited to see those guys again. So Pittsburgh, Huntsville, Alabama, Manchester, Connecticut, which is Hartford. The San Jose of the east. London, London. We are selling out there. I need you to buy your tickets now. Get those tickets now. I don't want to hear like, oh, chap, I haven't been able to get those tickets. Is that how they talk? So London, Stanford, Connecticut. Bloomington, Indiana. Brea, California. Spokane, Washington. Denver, Colorado, Kansas City, Missouri. Richmond, Virginia. I will have more dates are always going to be added. Jared free.com and that's it. That's our. That. That's. As far as announcements are concerned, we have one sponsor. The sponsor is always in the description of this episode. I like to get the sponsor out of the way. I'll. I'll take you into my process. I get the sponsor out of the way during Page Six or during pop Culture Thursday. Because Page Six takes up a lot of like wi fi. Like it. It like weirdly like clogs the Internet a little bit because there's so many ads running. So I want to get rid of as many tabs as I can. So. But I will say about the sponsor, Mother's Day, Father's Day. This is the gift. This is the gift. If you ever want to make your mom cry in a good way, you know how golden that moment is. I misread it. I misread it right off the bat. I've been doing ads for a long time. If you've ever made your mom cry in a good way. Not if you ever want to, but I would say, you know how nice it is to make your mom cry of happiness, to make her tear up at how much she loves you. And I think you can make it happen again. Mother's Day with ARA frames. I'm looking at my aura frame. It's on my desk. It looks good. It is not like a computer. It looks like a frame you would buy at a store. It's beautiful. And then once your pictures are in there, once you start playing the game of ARA frames, that's when it becomes fun because you could be off on vacation. Here's the beauty. You get to be away from your parents. When these moments come, you can just send them and it's like we don't even have to get together that much. This aura frame is almost like a little tether you have to the buoy that is your parents. And you don't have to see much of them. This is actually healthy for a family. You can even preload the frame with photos beforehand. So the gift is like ready to go. I am a huge fan. My parents love theirs. I have one on their counter. Kylie Jenner will do whatever it takes to make it across the me the Met steps. The Met Gala. I love what it's become. I love that it's like this, like, spectator sport for us to make fun of. I like that they go, Alex English, a comedian. Alex has been on the show before. He went. I was like, so impressed on. And he had a great outfit. On Monday, the reality star hit The Met Gala 2025 red carpet wearing a Ferragamo outfit that showed off her curves in midriff. It was her heels that were more than she bargained for it. See, is this a good thing for the shoes that were given to her and that were like. Or do people see this and go, I. I wonder if this is good for the shoes because it gets them on display. They're getting pointed out. They're getting their own article on page six. Or is this a bad thing because you find out, like, they're not functional. But I don't think any of this stuff is functional. Well, walking in stilettos is never an easy feat. Jenner had an even harder time taking the shoes off. Like, does anyone care that these shoes are tough to get off if they look great? And they were on the Met Gala red carpet. The Kylie Cosmet, 27, shared a video to her Instagram story late after the ball sitting on the ground while a team of people tried to remove her black pointed toe pumps. So here's a picture of. I mean, if there's a person out there with a foot fetish, this is like a gold mine for them. This is like, oh, happy day. Oh, happy day. Like, someone out there is, like, dying inside. They're just like, it's happening. Here's the thing. It is so funny. The celebrity world, like, she has a team where, like, someone is paid to, like, help her with her shoes off. They show it. I mean, they show the feet 7,000 times. Big day for feet people. Her glam squad use spray bottles filled with a clear liquid to try and loosen up the grip of the tape without hurting Jenner's feet. But it still seemed quite painful. Ow. Jenner yelled from behind the camera and then she posted a picture of her feet with they're okay. The shoes are beautiful. They got kind of like a, a a Gothic Wednesday Adams, Morticia Adams look to them. The fact that they had a spray bottle on hand to get them off of her is absolutely wild and crazy and like this is a income inequality story to me as much as it is a Kylie Jenner couldn't get her shoes off. There are people that could be reading this being like, I don't know how I'm gon eggs this month. And she has a person who's making a salary to hold spray to get her shoes off of her if, if, if and when it's in need. A few minutes later, she updated her fans with a celebratory photo of her bare feet. They're okay. Jenner wrote over the image on the upper left half. On the upper half of her body, Jenner strutted down the carpet in a Ferragamo dress featuring wool herringbone cups and a matching long skirt with a high slit broken up by a sheer corset bodice. Here's what I'll say about Kylie Jenner and the Jenners in general. To me, they are like a government operation. Like I don't know what to believe and what to not believe. Her having to get her shoes off at the event. To me, there's a little piece of me that goes, does she own the shoe company? And they knew to do this so that they could get some eyes on the feet so that people would buy more shoes. This is how genius I think the Jenners are that I'm willing to attribute such a crazy amount of thinking to her. Just not enjoying her shoes. The KHY founder, the KAI founder styled the piece with Lorraine Schwartz earrings and coordinating because they never mentioned the the the label of the shoes and coordinating long see through gloves while rocking a bombshell makeup look and a slick back bun. She looks unbelievable. I mean, she's beautiful. She's saying she's beautiful is, you know, crazy obvious. She also added a shiny black sash with a diamond adorned flower brush with the fabric stretching feet behind her. We're just wondering which brand of fashion tape Jenner use so we can try some for ourselves. Okay, sure. Here's an article that I have immediate interest in as a longtime Patriot fan and Tom Brady admirer. And listen, there used to be this there this. There's a saying like, never meet your heroes. Never follow your heroes after they retire. I think that's the like Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. Every story about them Just keeps getting worse and worse. Tom Brady admits to major fuck up with kids after Gisele Bundchen divorce, stake through the heart. So this has it all. This has two famous names. This has divorce. This has I fucked up an admission from a celebrity. Even the goat makes mistakes. Tom Brady, I mean, this is a guy. And this was, to me, Juliet Lippman was. Was the first person to really point this out to me. And I got to give her credit because I see Tom Brady in such high regards, and I have this, like, I see him as someone to admire and someone to, like, look up to and his work ethic and his story. And I remember saying this to Juliette Litman on a podcast, and she was like, yeah, he left his pregnant, like, girlfriend, like, in the middle of her pregnancy, like. And you're like, oh, I guess I didn't remember that part. In this whole, like, Rudy, like, tale I've been telling about Tom Brady for years, I guess that does have to be mentioned. So the idea that Tom Brady again, admired for his work ethic and his, you know, battling through his, it. It kind of shows you, like, can you be both? Can you be great father, good husband and the goat, I don't know. You'd like to think. I mean, you would think money would make that easier. Even the goat makes mistakes. Tom Brady called last year's viral Netflix roast a major parenting up on his part. I totally agree. I totally. The. The roast is crazy. They make fun of him for getting cheated on and, And. And his sex life. And listen, all the comics did their job. They did a great job. Everyone on that was great. Okay? And he was more defensive of Robert Kraft, the owner of the Patriots, and not making fun of him getting, you know, a hand job at a massage parlor than he was his wife and kids. I told he did fuck up, and he did. Here's where I'm gonna get annoyed. He did this on the. On the. On the. On the. What's it called? Podcast. On the Impulsive. On Logan Paul's podcast, so the Rich Get Richer, I'm sitting here in a studio, you know, podcasting my ass off. Tom Brady called last year's Netflix viral. Netflix wrote some major parenting fuck up on his part Tuesday, even though the special initially left him on cloud nine. Yeah, he didn't realize he fucked up until he was told this. The retired NFL player, 47, admitted to impulsive podcast listeners Tuesday that when he spoke to his kids the next day, Jack, 17. Oh, my God, even his kids knew. Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12, were not pleased. And then they show a picture of him with the kids. And let's see what he said. He recalled his brood. His brood. Page six, you are amazing. He recalled his brood asking, what was the point of that? Yeah, I honestly, like, it was fun for all of us, for his family. You go, why would you put yourself. Why would you put me through that? Now everyone knows our whole family. Uncomfortable story. The roast to Tom Brady notably included a slew of jokes about his children's mother, Bridget Moynihan and Gisele Bundchen finding out that. That this was tough on Jack. I mean, here's the thing. It's. You know what's so interesting? What, what, what? Here's why I don't really respect a lot of the athletes who get into the media game. I don't think they have to get good. I think they can do some hot takes and it's wildly, like, interesting for us. Like, I. I'll tell you this. I once tweeted for Darren Williams, who is the point guard for the Brooklyn Nets. He was doing an event and another comedian and I. I won't give their name because they. We both wrote tweets for them. And, you know, you have to be true to Darren Williams. You have to be like, nice. You know, you can't be dirty. You gotta be. You gotta be respectful of his platform and you have to, you know, gotta write clean, fun material. But you. You toe the line. The response was wild. Darren probably added like 10,000, you know, thousands of followers. I don't know the amount, but I know I'm watching again, my ex. My notification. Notifications page is different than yours and mine is different than Darren Williams, especially at the time. So I would tweet these things on my account and they would do whatever they did. I knew you and I both know our level of dopamine hit for a good post versus a post moms. Sadly, we know this. If I'm to be vulnerable, maybe you wouldn't be as vulnerable as I am. Or maybe someone would be embarrassed to say that. It is embarrassing to say that I know what does well and doesn't do well. When I did tweets for Darren Williams, the. The. The point guard for the Brooklyn Nets at the time. I think I'm getting his name right. Right? I fuck up. Yeah, yeah. Darren Williams, he used to play for, I think Utah and then he played for Brooklyn. Yeah, okay. He was at one point a great point guard. So what you notice is people's response to Darren Williams doing these jokes was like, whoa, look who's funny. Oh, my God, look at these posts. So this is, like, you get a lot of credibility for being even mildly funny. These are jokes that I wouldn't even, like, think to do on my own. They wouldn't be. Again, this is what I'm. What I'm getting to. And the point I'm trying to make is Tom Brady goes and does the roast and thinks, oh, we're just going to do jokes like I do with my friends. And this is someone who respects, like, if you said this to Tom Brady, the football player, like, hey, man, come play football at our flag football game. He'd be like, are you guys sure? Like, I'm going to, like, throw the ball harder than you've ever. They. He would speak down to, like, a lot of these professional athletes go, look at the Pat. They. They don't. And I'm. I'm saying, this is my big, you know, my big stump speech. But, like, look at the Pat. And I always go off at this guy because he's the best example Pat McAfee has on LeBron James. And they do a shitting on Brian Windhorse festival. And the big joke is that, like, Windhorse was like, he played with you in high school, and they put his face on like, a player to, like, show, like, oh, you guys played together, right? And it was the jocks making fun of the nerds. It them showing. And you can see the people that take LeBron's side in this and Pat's side on this, they're saying he is weird because he's followed LeBron James whole career. I don't think that's weird at all. He saw an opportunity, and he wants to be a newspaper guy, he wants to be a reporter, he wants to be a journalist. So he works hard at it and becomes a great journalist. He is a respected guy in his own right. And use the opportunity that was at his doorstep of LeBron James being in the same town and being, you know, in the high school newspaper and did what he could with that opportunity. You could tell in that, you know, that. That. That roast session that Brian didn't sign up for with LeBron and Pat McAfee, that they. They saw him as a loser. That. And. And that's how they see people who can't play the sport and talk about the sport. That is. It was a reveal to me. And it's funny that these athletes and Tom Brady, who I am literally in love with, like, I listen, I am a Tom Brady guy, but I don't think he respected the comedians who are going to roast him. In the same way, he would expect the respect of people who would invite him to play football with them. Because the comedians get invited to the Tom Brady roast, and they go, oh, you're inviting me to the Super Bowl? Where can I have the biggest audience ever and I can show how I'm the fucking goat. That's what Nikki Glaser did. She went, Nikki Glaser was probably foaming at the mouth. Knew the huge opportunity. He wants me to make fun of him. He's signing up for this with the goat. That's probably what you. Sam J. You know, Tony Hinchcloth. These are, like joke writers. Like, you know, some of the sets. Say what you want. You know, Gronko's up there. Julian Edelman goes up there. They go, oh, this is fun. Whatever. We have our 10 million in the bank. Nikki Glazer goes up there and is like, I'm gonna fucking host the Emmys from this. Who do you think you're fucking with? And so when I see this Tom Brady thing where he's like, I guess I shouldn't have gone on the stage with comedians. I didn't realize they would, like, get into our family history. You think this is a game, motherfucker? You think these comics. That's the thing. You went into their gridiron. It is. It is such an insult. And you're like, jared, you're getting a little high horsey. You're getting a why? Insult, maybe. That's a strong word. Not to me. I've made my life out of making jokes. Same with these people who went on the Tom Brady roast. And then they're presented with, you know, a lob. They go, here you go. Here's an opportunity to maybe make another million bucks the next year in the same way. Tom Brady, hey, you're gonna be drafted in the sixth round. Come on to the Patriots. And he said. And he looked at Drew Bledsoe and he said, fuck this dude. I'm taking him out because I'm a competitor. Same with the comedians. So it is so interesting to me. And, you know, Tom Brady's talking about it with, you know, having a fun, jocular conversation with one of the Paul brothers. I would love to talk to Tom Brady and be like, you're a fucking idiot. You thought you were gonna go on a roast, and they were gonna go, oh, look how funny your hair is. You thought it was gonna be like, hanging with your friends. No, they came for the jugular. And I am Happy? Proud. You think Jeff Ross was like, we booked Tom Brady. I can't wait to be friends with him after. No, no, no. He said, I can't wait to chop this motherfucker's head off on live tv. That it is. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one annoyed by this, so I feel like I sound like a piece of shit. But again, all these pot. You think Tori Spelling has a good podcast? Fuck her. It's just me yelling at people at randos. The Roast of Tom Brady notably included a slew of jokes about his children's mothers, Bridget Moynihan and Gisele Bunch. And you didn't think they were going to. No. That might be harsh. You kidding? It's their career. It's their livelihood. Just like when you go on the field and you want to chop a fucking dude's head off the cornerback. Same with these comedians. What a lack of respect. It's amazing. We're all the star of our own movie, you know? Like, I think about this at the Comedy Cellar all the time. When I go on stage, I'm like, okay, here we go. You know, I want to be the best on that lineup. And when I'm not, I'm like, fuck. Wasn't my night. Everyone on that lineup is like, I came here to fucking murder this room. Finding out that that this was tough on Jack, Benjamin and Vivian, I didn't think going into the Lions den would be tough on my family to watch. Felt like a stake through the heart. Brady remembered. There's some things as a parent, you fuck up. What an admission, the former quarterback said, and you don't realize until after, like, ugh. Brady shared a similar sentiment on the Pivot podcast in May 2024. While the athlete thought the jokes regarding him were so fun, he didn't think. He didn't like the. He didn't like the way that other quips affected his kids. Yeah, dude. The former New England Patriots star added. It's the hardest part about, like, the bittersweet aspect of when you do something like that, you think is one way, and then all of a sudden you realize, I wouldn't do that again because of the way it affected actually, the people that I care about the most in the world. It is to me. He didn't know the level of joke. You know, this wasn't a roast for someone you hired for 500 bucks. This was Nikki Glaser, who is one of the best at writing those types of jokes in the world and being like, hey, want to come like, make some jokes at me. And she's like, oh, really? Okay, yeah. And this is again, a specific type of joke. This isn't a storytelling joke. This is a set up punch. Set up punch. This is prize fighting. If you ever go to those joke. There was a time where these joke, these roast battles were happening and the people that got good got really good. The former New England Patriots star added, it's the hardest part about like, oh, okay. Because that. However, Brady clarified last year that his error in judgment will make him a better parent going forward. Live and learn. You don't see the full picture of all the. All the time. The Fox commentator explained. Well, this is why I love Tom Brady. He was human. You know, that was the whole reason for his. For his, you know, his legend is he wasn't the best, he wasn't the top picked. He made mistakes. Again, you could work the Bridget Moynaman angle into that. He had kids, you know, left his girlfriend when she needed a most. All right, let's move on. Um, while Brady has yet to address brute bunch reaction to the Rose, people reported she was deeply disappointed. Yeah, I would say that she had a right to. Okay. Khloe Kardashian gives tour of pristinely organized walk in pantry in $17 million mansion. Here's where, like, here's where I become Flummox. Like, I. I have an answer or theory on most things. I don't know why at a certain level of rich. And it must be what makes you rich. The you must get off to making money in a way. I get off to a good meal or, you know, kissing a woman that you get off to just making more money because, like, the idea click. If I'm Chloe, I disappear off the face of the earth. I'm not showing my $17 million mansion. Hey, here's where you can get in the house. You know, like, why would you show off in this way when. And you go, is there any relation to like, the world at large? There's this woman, Bloom, this woman on TikTok. I see her videos and I'm like, disgusted. What is her name? Something Bloom. And she is like 25 and showing her life. And she's quite simply the daughter of a billionaire of some sort. Rich TikTok. I search Bloom Becca Bloom, discover the luxurious lifestyle of. And she's admitted to it. And no one seems. It is so weird. We talk about like privilege and you hear all this stuff and maybe I'm just too in tune with that noise. And like, you talk about like. But then there's this like, if you get to billionaire, no one cares. But if you're like doing well as a millionaire, like, people are like, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, easy. Their partner, like, you can't show first class, but you can show your private plane. Like, I don't know, it's like very confusing. But again, maybe her superpower is not caring at all. Because I like Khloe Kardashian gives tor. Like, what does she need this floor? Khloe Kardashian gave an in depth tour of her $17 million mansions. Immaculately organized walk in pantry. Welcome to my crib. My pantry crib. The good morning the good American co founder said in a video pose or YouTube channel Monday, adding that she has been getting requests to give a tour for years. Yeah, I. Here's the thing. I do want to see this. I don't care that. And she's doing it to promote her new popcorn line. Like, I don't know, I've never really. I was never this person ever of this. Like, what, you know, who needs that much? But I guess you just want more houses. I don't know. I mean, she looks fantastic. I am a huge fan of a tight ponytail and Chloe, I gotta say, she looks unbelievable. Whatever she's doing, keep doing it, girl. The pantry looks like you are at a restoration hardware that put out a buffet of snacks and goodies. They show the house. The house is enormous. It looks very Nantucket. It's in California. Kardashian, 40. So I am also 40 sitting here looking at my whole home from inside it. I'm seeing hers in an aerial. I mean, this is Kardashian, 40, transformed one of her. One of her hidden hills California garages into a pantry because she ran out of space in her original food storage closet. I would never stop eating. And look at the whole thing is her popcorn. I want it to look like a farmer's market and I want it to look a little farmer's marketing and beautiful. She said of the design concept. The bottom shelves are filled with family sized bags of chips and other snacks, including her newly launched cloud popcorn brand. I saw, I saw what's her name? Bethany Frankel, doing a taste review, like a tasting of her popcorn brand. And it was, I mean, she was talking about the colonels and. And then Bethany was like, I have my own popcorn brand. I know that there's. And choosing the kernels is a thing. There are different kernels that give you different pops. The Kardashian star who shares daughter seven, true seven and son Tatum, too, with ex partner Tristan Thompson, explained that she keeps the snacks in the bottom shelves because her kids are little and shorter. So she wants them to be able to grab and go. I mean, this grab and go. This is like walking into a Whole Foods and being like, yeah, whatever you want. Like, this is blank check. This is, you know, the movie. This is Richie Rich. Above that, Kardashian keeps glass containers with steel lids filled with various noshes while the shelves are used for backstock. I mean, you couldn't eat this much food in a lifetime. Just based on these small photos I'm looking at. They got apple chips, golden raisins, all kinds of raisins. There's a snow cone machine. The Hulu personality admitted she keeps some processed food in the house, but noted, that's life. We all can be perfect. Yeah, we're gonna have some processed food every now and again. Really? She should not be allowed to say talk about food processed versus not processed. No one can keep up. Okay, we're gonna do one more article. I gotta go. The Tom Brady thing went a little long. Yeah, I admit it. That's okay. We'll do two more or one more. I. I love this one because it's like a Nicola Peltz fed up with how narcissistic Victoria and David Beckham verbally berate Brooklyn Report. See, so Victoria and David verbally berate. Very. I don't know who Nicola Peltz is. It must be Brooklyn. Nicola Peltz is going to bat for Brooklyn Beckham. The actress allegedly doesn't like the way her husband's narcissistic parents, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, treat him. If she only had a front row seat to my parents with me because the idea that like she used verbally berate because it's just below verbally abusive. See what she did? She took out the technical term so she could say it. I don't know if she. The Bates Motel alum, 30, doesn't appreciate how David verbally berates his 26 year old son on the phone and screams at Brooklyn for an hour. I yeah, he's probably like, get a job, do something. In addition to Brooklyn's headline making feud with brother Romeo Beckham, he's also at odds with his toxic and performative mom and dad. According to the outlet, Pelts in Brooklyn have reportedly made themselves available for months and months to discuss all the ongoing drama, but are devastated that David, 50, and Victoria, 51, don't want their daughter in law around for the conversation. So this is seemingly through their PR age and why the Beckhams didn't put this out. She also talks back to. She also talks back to them and stands up for Brooklyn. Oh, man, this is going to be a tough one for this whole family. However, Us Weekly claim to Tuesday that David and Victoria are over the family driver and have thrown in the towel. I would. This is a vague report coming from Brooklyn side and his PR people. It has to be reps for Peltz. Brooklyn. David and Victoria did not immediately respond. Yeah, no, no. This is an article placed by Brooklyn's people and they're basically getting ahead. Like, letting them know, hey, these parents are not being cooperative with the things I want to do. The cooking with Brooklyn. Start the. The. It should be. The son of David and Victoria Star started dating Peltz in 2019, with the couple tying the knot the following year. Were they at the wedding? Were the parents of the wedding? The 2024 Florida nuptials were overshadowed by rampant rumors the bride was feuding with Victoria over her and Brooklyn's first dance, her wedding and more. So she does not get along with these parents. That is, she is the rift with the family. Brooklyn denied the rumor rift and a 2022 Variety interview and claiming everyone gets along, which is good. Yeah, that's him playing. No, no, no, they don't get along. They get along so badly that the wife is putting out articles in Page Six to embarrass the parents. Pelt similarly insisted there was not a feud the same year while pointing out that no family is perfect. No family is perfect is the motto of every family that's arguing. That is the motto of a family that's not doing well. No family's perfect. As they're all, you know, fighting and, and, and, and wrestling in the background. No, everyone knows no family is perfect. But people say that they like to, to, like, enunciate that, like, hey, listen, everyone's got their problems. You know, the wife doesn't talk to the. Talk to the mom and the husband doesn't talk to the son. And, you know, no family's perfect. Yeah, my parents, like, offer me their Ozempic. That's no family is perfect. My parents, like, say, you know, that shirt doesn't fit. No family is perfect. It's not like we don't talk. And then I go to Page Six and put out an article telling everyone how horrible they are. Although speculation died down, news broke last month that Brooklyn and Romeo are currently not on speaking terms. To me, the only consistent thing the. Amid the alleged strife Brooklyn and his wife were noticeably absent from David's 50th birthday snaps. That's a big deal. They allegedly flew to London to celebrate with David privately over the weekend, only to be snubbed by the retired athlete. Something is off. We don't know a key element of this story. The former professional soccer player allegedly told the pair that if they wanted to see him, they could go to Saturday's soiree. Victoria shared a slideshow of party picks featuring Romeo, son Cruz and daughter Harper on Sunday writing creating special memories with family and friends. We love you all. We're creating great memories with everyone except my son and his wife that I can't stand. The Beckham family familiar strife is reportedly the former Spice Girls members worst nightmare. Yeah, this is the worst nightmare. This is the worst case scenario. Your your son marries someone who you don't like. There it is. Pop culture Thursday. Back next week. Boom.

Episode Title: Tom Brady Roast and How the Comedians Were like "You Think This is a Game?" - POP CULTURE THURSDAY
In this episode of The JTrain Podcast, host Jared Freid dives deep into the latest pop culture events with his signature comedic flair. Taped on a Wednesday but aptly themed for Thursday, Jared navigates through trending headlines, offering sharp insights and hilarious commentary. This episode particularly focuses on Kylie Jenner's Met Gala mishap, Tom Brady's recent roast, Khloe Kardashian's lavish pantry, and the ongoing drama between Nicola Peltz and the Beckham family.
The episode kicks off with Jared dissecting Kylie Jenner's infamous moment at the Met Gala 2025, where her stilettos became the center of attention.
Jared humorously explores whether the spotlight on Kylie’s uncomfortable shoes is a clever marketing ploy or a genuine fashion flaw. He muses, "The Kylie Cosmet outfits were stunning, but her heels were more than she bargained for." ([06:20]) Highlighting the extreme measures taken to remove her shoes, Jared remarks, "Her glam squad used spray bottles to loosen the grip of the tape without hurting her feet. It's like an income inequality story as much as it is a fashion mishap." ([09:15])
The central segment of the episode focuses on Tom Brady's participation in a Netflix roast and the subsequent fallout.
Roast Overview: Tom Brady attended a roast where comedians targeted his personal life, including his divorce and parenting.

Jared draws parallels between Brady’s experience and his own interactions with athletes in the media, expressing frustration over the perceived lack of reverence:
"The comedians get invited to the Tom Brady roast and go all out. They even mock his children's mothers, Bridget Moynihan and Gisele Bundchen." ([25:00])
He further explores the impact of such public ridicule on Brady’s family dynamics, noting the negative reactions from Brady’s ex-wife and children:
"Bridget Moynihan was deeply disappointed. This was tough on Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian." ([29:30])

"She has apple chips, golden raisins, a snow cone machine. It’s like walking into a Whole Foods with a blank check." ([38:20])
Jared also pokes fun at the practical aspects, such as the pantry being accessible for her children:
"Her kids can grab and go, which is perfect, but me? I can barely find anything in my closet." ([40:45])
