Rick Barron is a podcaster, storyteller, mentor and retired Silicon Valley technology professional. During his 42-year career, he worked for Apple, Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, Motorola, Symantec and Intel in roles spanning manufacturing, project management, documentation control and more.

His life has also included military service during the Vietnam era, helping launch the original Macintosh, surviving melanoma and nearly losing his left arm, and mentoring younger professionals.

Rick Barron began podcasting in retirement and discovered a new outlet for his love of writing, research and storytelling. Today, he continues exploring the intricate threads of life's most compelling stories and passing along what he has learned. Rick joined us from his home in San Jose, California, right in the heart of Silicon Valley.
