Grab a hanky because I am living close to the waterworks lately, folks! 😭 I was not able to keep it together through this interview and that tracks completely because I don’t actually believe in trying to suppress emotions and I don’t mind crying in the middle of an interview at all. Especially because it’s not everyday you know your guest is going to hold you in such deep care and dignity. My guest today is the warm and wonderful, Erinn Doncaster, here today to share about their new venture, a project called "Find Your Song".

Erinn's combined background in music education and event production, as well as AOP Social Work, trauma counselling, Somatic Experiencing, and group therapy has culminated in this project that weaves together the threads of their rich experience. Erinn is a non-binary, queer, newly disabled, white settler with way-back roots in the Scottish Hebrides via eight generations in Nova Scotia.

Find Your Song is a series of musical collaborations and explorations including the upcoming Songwriting to Meet the Moment retreat, happening November 19-22 in Nanaimo, BC, on gorgeous Vancouver Island. Registration closes on August 22, so I’m glad we managed to align schedules so you all can hear why Erinn’s work is so much more than it seems! Just listen, you’ll understand what I mean.
