Claudia Oshry
Good morning, girlies. It's the toast.
Jackie Oshry
It's Jackson Claude, and we're your host.
Claudia Oshry
It's your favorite show, the Fast 5 things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly. It's the toast.
Jackie Oshry
They sound amazing.
Claudia Oshry
Welcome back to the Toast and happy Thursday. Yeah. Okay. Things we did made it to the latter half of the week. Like, not a big deal. Happy Tuesday to you.
Jackie Oshry
Happy Thursdays. It's a beautiful dairy of thirst.
Claudia Oshry
It's gorgina, vigina, plastina, Virginia plasti. Here in nyc, a nice, warm, sunny day.
Jackie Oshry
Ooh, pargelish. I mean, it's always. It's always sunny in Florida, but. Oh, I actually heard. Found some goss out this morning that I've been meaning to text you.
Claudia Oshry
You have hot goss for me?
Jackie Oshry
I do. Let me text it to you. You're not going to believe me.
Claudia Oshry
Is it about, like, people we know, like, personally?
Jackie Oshry
No, it's about a celebrity and I.
Claudia Oshry
And you don't want to share it?
Jackie Oshry
Like, hold on.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, I'm excited.
Jackie Oshry
I'm so sorry to start the show like this.
Claudia Oshry
No, it's okay. Don't ever apologize for having a hot goss.
Jackie Oshry
Look what I just sent you.
Claudia Oshry
Oh.
Jackie Oshry
Like, someone that I know saw him look. So, yeah, a big celebrity is thinking about moving to Florida. That was it.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah.
Jackie Oshry
Wow. Him looking. And I feel like I could move the needle for you to move here.
Claudia Oshry
1,000. 1,000%.
Jackie Oshry
I heard he's moving down here for the golf, which actually is a great segue because I've been watching Full Swing.
Claudia Oshry
I heard you've been watching Full Swing. And I so crazy, said to Ben, like, how good of a wife am I? Jackie's watching Full Swing. She says, you, you will love it. Let's watch it. And that's me being generous. Like, yeah, that's a show about your interest.
Jackie Oshry
No. What did he say?
Claudia Oshry
Well, first of all, we're watching Parenthood. I hate it so much, and he loves it. So he thinks I'm just, like, trying to get him off of. He thinks I'm trying to get him off of Parenthood, which I am. But, like, I think this is an even better option with. And he was like, no, we started it once. You didn't like it. Oh, okay. Gaslight me straight to my face. I've never seen the show.
Jackie Oshry
Oh, interesting. Well, the way that they do it is interesting because, like, every episode follows a different player or two, and, like, so we get to know this person in the next episode. It's Someone else that we have to meet. But it's a nice way to get to know, like, the big names, I think I'm watching 2022. So, like, this is all new for me. Like, I don't know who wins the Masters in 2022 and the PGA Tour, and. And golf has never made sense to me, like, in terms of the game itself.
Claudia Oshry
Car.
Jackie Oshry
Birdie.
Claudia Oshry
I'm familiar now.
Jackie Oshry
I'm understanding the game of golf, but I'm also understanding how the sport works in terms of, like, the PGA Tour and then the. What are they called? The big.
Claudia Oshry
Do they talk about live golf?
Jackie Oshry
Yes. So that this season is, like, when Liv Golf is having their first event, it's like, who's going to take the money? The questions that they're asking these players at the press conferences, like, are crazy. Like, might as well. They might as well be, like, would you behead someone and drag them through the street? Like, would you rate?
Claudia Oshry
When the live golf drama was happening in real time, like, it was all my husband spoke about, so I'm pretty well versed on it, and it was really crazy. But Ben was like, fudge it. Like, take the money. Like, why should everyone be so beholden to pga? And they're, like, crazy rules. Whereas, like, there could be other leagues. Like, why can we all play in different leagues?
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. But then it's just like, where is the money coming from? Like, you're kind of. Well, of course, washing human rights violations of Saudi Arabia, which is a lot to put on Phil Mickelson, you know.
Claudia Oshry
Right, right. Phil Mickelson, specifically. And I think that's why this particular Masters was sort of kind of crazy, because Bryson is one of the, like, guys who went to live and, like, took the money.
Jackie Oshry
So at the time, they're like, if people go to live, they will be banned from the PGA Tour.
Claudia Oshry
Yes.
Jackie Oshry
Does that still hold?
Claudia Oshry
No.
Jackie Oshry
Because the way I feel about Live now is, like, everybody does live. Like, it's not controversial.
Claudia Oshry
It was really controversial, but, like, I.
Jackie Oshry
Feel like so many people have endorsed it, and it's not like, a stain on anyone's record. And so people who play live can also do the PGA Tour, and there's just like, now more money for everyone now. Okay. Okay. Yeah. No, it's definitely a crazy thing that happened. And the fact.
Claudia Oshry
No, like, PGA just, like, was the only game in town, and, like, somebody else, like, decided to, like, do stuff, and they were being like, weenies about it.
Jackie Oshry
Except, like, Masters and US Open are not pga.
Claudia Oshry
No. It's all a part of the pga. Like, PGA is like the whole league. It's like the NBA, but they have a tour.
Jackie Oshry
PGA Tour, where they have, like, waste management. Every weekend is a different got. Every night a different town. She follows me.
Claudia Oshry
You might be asking too many questions now.
Jackie Oshry
Like, but what are the four biggies called up when you win all four, like Rory did? What are. What's the name of.
Claudia Oshry
What are the four big golf tournaments?
Jackie Oshry
No, I know. It's US Open, Masters, and two others.
Claudia Oshry
Masters, PGA Championship, US Open, and the Open Championship, which is often called the British Open.
Jackie Oshry
Okay, but those four are called. I thought I knew so much.
Claudia Oshry
And what are those four events called?
Jackie Oshry
Not Masters. Majors. Those are the majors.
Claudia Oshry
Men's Major Golf Championship.
Jackie Oshry
Those are the majors. So I feel like the three majors that are in PGA Championship, the live players could have played even if they weren't on the PGA Tour. Like, they could have still played the Masters. It's its own thing.
Claudia Oshry
The Masters isn't a part of pga.
Jackie Oshry
I don't think so.
Claudia Oshry
Okay, let me see. Wait, hold on. Let me get back. Let me get back to my. Are all four of the major golf championships PGA events? Question mark.
Jackie Oshry
Great question. Does Chachi BT ever say, like, great question?
Claudia Oshry
Not exactly. While all four are a part of the PGA Tour schedule, not all of them are run by the PGA Tour of America. So the Masters is run by Augusta National Golf Club. Like, yeah, we know that PGA Championship is run by the pga. US Opens run by the usga, and the Open is run by the rna, but they are all a part of the PGA Tour, so, yes, they are pga.
Jackie Oshry
Oh, okay. And I know this is frustrating for those of you who know golf, but I want to say, like, a majority of our listeners don't understand golf. Like, we like layman. They're like laymen like us. And I feel like all of us starting to understand this together. Like, it will bring together husbands and wives, and that's what we do at the Toast.
Claudia Oshry
Even though I hate that we're, like, we're meeting them where they are, you know?
Jackie Oshry
Of course, I don't see them taking an interest in Molly May's vlogs in Summer House.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, like, actually, my husband loves Bravo.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, I take that back.
Jackie Oshry
He like.
Claudia Oshry
Like, it's just annoying. I hate. I hate to concede.
Jackie Oshry
I. I do hate to concede, but I really am finding pleasure in the sport of golf. And also, like, I do live in Florida, and maybe my sons will take it up and I should know what a bogey is if that's the case 1,000%. Like, do I cheer for a bogey or do I cheer for a birdie?
Claudia Oshry
You cheer for a birdie.
Jackie Oshry
I know.
Claudia Oshry
Hey. And you really cheer for a double birdie. Whip them titties out, say, yeah, double birdie.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, for sure. That's what I do. But it's all. It's all great, and I'm really enjoying it. And you should definitely watch and, like, maybe we could sync up so that, like, I'm not recapping it, and then you're recapping it a month later.
Claudia Oshry
Talk to Ben. Seriously, talk to Ben.
Jackie Oshry
I will talk to Ben.
Claudia Oshry
So, like, insane. And even today, like, he was like. I was like. Woke up in a really bad mood. I didn't sleep good. And he was like, you got to go punct. You want to walk? He's like, you want me to walk you to work? I was like, you know what? Yeah. I found. I find my two block walk to work becoming longer each day. Like, I just can't do it.
Jackie Oshry
Studio.
Claudia Oshry
It's time for me to start working from home. And so he gets to the door and he forgets something and he's walking back in. And I said it. I'm leaving, and I get in the elevator and I'm like, halfway through my walk when I hear Ben sprinting down the street. I'm like, honestly, he's so sweet. Like, I left and he still wanted to walk me to work. And he has this, like, big shopping bag with him, and I'm like, are you going somewhere? He's like, no. Yesterday you told me you didn't have any spritz cans at your studio. I'm like, oh, so you don't want to walk me to work? You wanted to facilitate. You wanted to be the messenger delivering your Spritz Society cans.
Jackie Oshry
Spritz Society available everywhere.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, they actually are today's lead sponsor. We'll get into it in a little bit late, a little bit later.
Jackie Oshry
That's exciting. It's so funny that you have no cans in your huge studio when I am seriously in a box. And I have probably 12 boxes of spritz in here from the years. And that's just your sweeper. Like nature, because you would never stand for what I've put up with. But I have so much spritz in here, and I need.
Claudia Oshry
You need a little bit more of my sweeper energy, and I need a little bit more of your it's gonna be okay energy. No, because I don't want to start collecting things. But, like, it is okay to have stuff.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, it is. I feel like you're gonna see that when you have a baby, and so I'm not gonna push you on it. I'm just gonna let nature run its course.
Claudia Oshry
Speaking of having a baby, I'm going to the doctor. I feel really stupid because, like, I think, like, I actually. I don't even know. I just feel like the baby has slipped. Like, I just feel it. Like, maybe because I want the baby to have flip. No, but it's not even that. I just want it. So I feel like if I.
Jackie Oshry
That's called manifesting. You manifested it.
Claudia Oshry
So I told Dr. Fox. I'm like, I think the baby's flipped. He's like, okay, we'll find out your next sonogram. And I said, yeah, about that. I'm not gonna be able to wait that long because I'm, like, running around town, doing Sebastian, doing physical therapy, doing acupuncture. Like, I just kind of need to know if it's working, because I can stop if it is. So I'll be going in today, so tune into tomorrow's episode to find out if Turdi's baby is flipped.
Jackie Oshry
And are you feeling kicks in different places?
Claudia Oshry
Yes, but I'm not feeling kicks. That's the thing. I'm feeling, like, sweeping movements. Do you know what I mean? Like, I know a kick.
Jackie Oshry
So you're feeling flips?
Claudia Oshry
Flips. Is that what it is?
Jackie Oshry
I mean, that's what. Sweeping movements. No.
Claudia Oshry
And it's, like, huge, like. Like waves of movement.
Jackie Oshry
Like a tumble.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah. And it's not like people are like, well, you're feeling kicks or punches. I'm like, well, I'm not feeling either. I'm feeling like there's something like a rodent in my stomach, like, crawling around. That's what it feels like.
Jackie Oshry
LOLs.
Claudia Oshry
And if I read one more Reddit, I need to stop. Like, But I'm always just, like, searching, like, how will I know if my baby is flipped? Everybody has different experience. Someone was like, I had no idea. And then someone was like, oh, my God, I was cooking dinner. And I, like, felt like I gave birth. Like, so I can't. I. There's such not reliable information out there.
Jackie Oshry
Yes. And at a certain point, you have to set it all down.
Claudia Oshry
And I do.
Jackie Oshry
I do stress.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, I do. I do. That's what I did. Yesterday, I went to the nail salon for four hours. I now realize. I now realize, like, why? My whole life, like, every time I go to a nail salon, there's, like, Five pregnant women there. You know, what else is there to do?
Jackie Oshry
Everyone's getting their feet rubbed, hopefully hoping that they, like, hit that ankle button that put them into labor.
Claudia Oshry
The. Literally, the. Sometimes, like, you're so uncomfortable, the only thing you can do is get a pedicure. Do you know what I mean?
Jackie Oshry
Yeah.
Claudia Oshry
And I just, like, let this woman. I let her take care of me for hours. I kept adding things. So I got a pedicure, and then, of course, I had to do a leg and a foot rub, and I fell asleep in the chair. It was amazing. And then I went for an actual manicure. So I got my manicure, and then it just didn't feel like enough, so I had her rub my back. I was there for literally the entire afternoon and had an amazing time.
Jackie Oshry
That's so great. You should go to, like, a spa.
Claudia Oshry
No, I know, but, like, something about the casual nature of. It's non committal. I have to take my pants off. Like, it's. Except I actually saw the craziest thing. This guy comes in with a stroller. Like, can he get a newborn? And I'm like, oh, that's nice. He's taken care. And he's like, I want to get my back rubbed. And I'm like, well, you have a baby with you. Like, an actual baby. Like, you can't get your back rubbed. And he was like, yeah. He literally, this something only a man could do. He, like, was moving furniture in the nail salon. He's like, put me in this chair. I have to give this baby a bottle. But I want my neck and my back rubbed. They got a step stool for the masseuse. Like, they rearranged the entire salon for this man to give his baby a bottle while also getting his neck rubbed for an hour. Like, he was sitting in the middle of the salon. I actually really respected it, and I could see that being Ben as a father, because Ben loves getting his back rubbed. But it's just something like a woman would never do. It's like, oh, well, I can't get a massage. I have to feed my baby.
Jackie Oshry
Right. Well, take notes, take up space.
Claudia Oshry
I. Jackie, he was taking up a lot of space, like, moving everything around. Yes.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. And he's watching the baby. Mom's got a break.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah. No, it was very inspiring.
Jackie Oshry
I thought he was gonna, like, leave the baby in the stroller and, like, hold onto the stroller while he sits in the chair.
Claudia Oshry
That's what I was thinking.
Jackie Oshry
Not. That's not the greatest. I like.
Claudia Oshry
No. Especially because if the Baby cries. You're gonna have to get up out of that chair.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. And also, you don't have eyes on the baby?
Claudia Oshry
No. So he sat in a regular chair. Baby was in his arms with a bottle, and this lady was, like, seriously towering over him on a ladder, rubbing his back partialish. It was so smart. Yeah.
Jackie Oshry
You should have taken a picture for Ben.
Claudia Oshry
I know. I meant to tell him, but I didn't want to give him any ideas because, like, literally, I would never see him. He would be at the salon the entire time with the baby babysitting.
Jackie Oshry
Thumbs up.
Claudia Oshry
How many stories today?
Jackie Oshry
Oh, you know what? They're like rbg for sure. Rbg. But, like, came together actually really quickly. So it's the stories, you know, rbg.
Claudia Oshry
Random but good.
Jackie Oshry
Rent. Yeah. Yeah.
Claudia Oshry
You knew that we watched Summer House, right?
Jackie Oshry
We did watch Summer House, which I look forward to recapping.
Claudia Oshry
Me too. I actually have some very strong feelings about two characters in particular.
Jackie Oshry
Who.
Claudia Oshry
Guess what happened.
Jackie Oshry
Jesse Solomon.
Claudia Oshry
Yes.
Jackie Oshry
Always. He elicits a lot of strong feelings for me. Like, really, really positive. Like, men. She.
Claudia Oshry
Warmth.
Jackie Oshry
Like, I love this man. And then really, really negative. Like, deep bombing, toxic. Like, grow up.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah. He's my number one for sure.
Jackie Oshry
Okay. Number two. Sierra.
Claudia Oshry
Yes.
Jackie Oshry
I just know my coach.
Claudia Oshry
You do. And we also talked about Summer House, like, a little bit. Watching it. We were texting. Yeah. Okay. So that's why. But yeah, no, you know. You know.
Jackie Oshry
No, but we didn't talk about Jesse. So that.
Claudia Oshry
No, you knew. You knew.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, it's true. Well, I look forward to recapping that same. And I think we can get into the stories. Right?
Claudia Oshry
Me too.
Jackie Oshry
I think it's totally my clock. I can see my clock now.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, good. Okay. So we're staying on pace today.
Jackie Oshry
Except the thing is, if I hadn't seen my clock, I would have assumed that we've been really short in the pre fast five banter, and I would have kept going, and then we would have had, like, a really parchy, long banter. And that's how you guys have been getting those nilafis. Because I've been flying blind here.
Claudia Oshry
No, and I love the nilafis. But I have to say, like, I know my body and, like, at some point I crap out and, like, I want to be able to, like, how I couldn't finish tear toasters. Like, I want to be able to finish the episode. So you having your clock just keeping us. You know, we're not short episodes.
Jackie Oshry
Yesterday was an hour. You're not going to see Those types of numbers up there again, it's just.
Claudia Oshry
Hard for me to like numbers sit in one position and like be normal for that long. So I just want to. I'm gonna get through everything. I'm not rushing, but just, you know, I can't be making a whole day of it.
Jackie Oshry
I understand. I understand. Narafi. Regular Nero.
Claudia Oshry
Regular but longer than average.
Jackie Oshry
Longer than the others.
Claudia Oshry
Right? Nice. Regular but longer than average episode. What is that?
Jackie Oshry
Oh, God. Nice.
Claudia Oshry
I'll write it down. Hold on.
Jackie Oshry
Oh, no, it's one. No, rough. Nice. Regular one. My brain is broken.
Claudia Oshry
Regular one. Longer than the average. Nirlada.
Jackie Oshry
Nerlada. That sounds like a medication. Which by the way, this show is a medication, so. Nerlata.
Claudia Oshry
I got a heartache medication. Okay, sorry. It's actually Neuralta, which really sounds like a medication.
Jackie Oshry
Claudia, we're giving you a dose of Neuralta today. We. It cures depression, anxiety, boredom, and we.
Claudia Oshry
Don'T have the side effects that all these other drugs have. Like suicidal thoughts. Like.
Jackie Oshry
No, no, no. Joy, joy. Like period.
Claudia Oshry
Period.
Jackie Oshry

Jackie Oshry
Beautifully done. If I may.
Claudia Oshry
I'm a beautiful girl. Or at least I was.
Jackie Oshry
You are a beautiful woman.
Claudia Oshry
I agree.
Jackie Oshry
Our first.
Claudia Oshry
I'm so glad. I'm so glad you brought that up.
Jackie Oshry
I'm so glad that we are in agreement.
Claudia Oshry
It's so good to be agreeable.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. Yeah. Our first story, some hosting news. Nate Bargaiti will host 2025 Emmys. So celebrated stand up comedian Nate Bar Gatesy is set to host the Emmys. Variety has learned the telecast will air live from the Peacock Theater in LA on Sunday, September 14th. Always confusing that the Emmys, which are part of the got Variety, like, take place at a completely different time than the rest of the award shows. You know, like, they're literally.
Claudia Oshry
I don't know if I ever, like, was putting that together.
Jackie Oshry
No, they're literally in the summer.
Claudia Oshry
It's so weird, but I didn't know that.
Jackie Oshry
September 14th on CBS and streaming live on Paramount. Plus Nate Barga. See thoughts? I think it's.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, my God. I think it's a. A good selection. I think it. The thing is, I know Nate Bargacey, like, culturally. Like, I've never heard this man stand up, I think. But he comes from, like, he's like the elk of, like, a digital podcaster. He got his real cult, like, fan base from the Internet.
Jackie Oshry
So podcast comedian. Does he have a comedian?
Claudia Oshry
Excuse me, but he, like, hangs out with all those podcasts.
Jackie Oshry
I loop a minute with them and I'm always.
Claudia Oshry
I loop him in with Shane Gillis.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. And I'm always saying, like, you should choose those guys. And it's mostly yes for these gigs. So I really like this. Even though, like, you, I never heard a joke of his, like, his reputation precedes him.
Claudia Oshry
I do know that, like, a fun fact about him is that he's a bit of a clean comic. Like, he doesn't even curse. So that will be interesting because I don't think that's usually the elk of hosts, even though I think most recently, like, Conan, who's not clean but a little bit more family friendly. I feel like that really didn't help him. What did he host?
Jackie Oshry
The Oscars. Right.
Claudia Oshry
Right. But I think they can do it. Like, every time Nate does something, gets selected for, like, something big. People are so excited about it. Like, he hosted snl and I think he's about to host again. His fans are freaking. Like, everyone loves it. So I think this is actually a very good choice. And it's out of the Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy category.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. He had Nate Bargaetes Nashville Christmas on cbs.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, cute.
Jackie Oshry
Which sounds good. Like a good idea. I think it went well from the Grand Ole Opry.
Claudia Oshry
That sounds fun.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. I think this is a really good choice and a safe bet and hopefully opens the door for more funny comedians to host award shows.
Claudia Oshry
Agreed. And funny Comedians who are the elk of, you know, Internet folk. Even though he's not really Internet renegades. Yes. I loop him in with that group of man.
Jackie Oshry
Group of men.
Claudia Oshry
Like, he might be in the group chat that Andrew Schultz was telling us about, you know?
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, he might be. But, like, who is this guy? Let's get real.
Claudia Oshry
I know. Does he even have a podcast? Like, does he.
Jackie Oshry
Like, I'm going to look like I've heard his name before, but why hasn't his comedy reached me whatsoever?
Claudia Oshry
Oh, yeah, he does have a podcast. It's called Nate Land. They released an episode one day ago, so.
Jackie Oshry
Okay. I've not heard of it.
Claudia Oshry
Me neither. I don't think his podcast is actually very big.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, but it's not fun to have a podcast. Like, if you're a funny person and it's a. It's low lift if you have stuff to say.
Claudia Oshry
Agreed. No, I think that he's digital.
Jackie Oshry
Like, I like saying his name. Nate Bargain. See, and it looks like something I wouldn't be able to pronounce, but, like, I crush it.
Claudia Oshry
We think.
Jackie Oshry
Like, if I hadn't heard it. No, I've, like, heard people say his name because I don't even know how I would pronounce that.
Claudia Oshry
Like, his stand up specials are really, really popular. That's what I think catapulted him to, like, another tier. His last couple of months have all been on Netflix and they've been, like, enormously popular.
Jackie Oshry
Great.
Claudia Oshry
And I think you would. I think you. You would love it.
Jackie Oshry
Congrats, Nate.
Claudia Oshry
Congrats, Nate. You did it.
Jackie Oshry
Congrats, grads.
Claudia Oshry
Even though this is, like, a job that I think people like, you obviously want to book it, it's a huge opportunity. But when it comes to actually doing it, it's like.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, but it's a major step.
Claudia Oshry
Huge. Huge. Huge. Maybe. Maybe it'll be so big. We'll find out, like, who he is.
Jackie Oshry
You know, see his chops. I don't typically watch the Emmys just because during the summer I just am not turning on the emotions.
Claudia Oshry
No, it depends where I am, like, physically, emotionally, mentally.
Jackie Oshry
And I don't watch the television. Like, I don't really watch a lot of this stuff. I feel like, come and go.
Claudia Oshry
When. Give me a date. Let me see, like, where I'm gonna be in my life. Oh, you said summer.
Jackie Oshry
That's still summer for six more days.
Claudia Oshry
Okay. September 14th. Like, it's after Labor Day. We're all back.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah.
Claudia Oshry
At work. Like, I might watch it.
Jackie Oshry
Okay.
Claudia Oshry
I thought you were saying Like June.
Jackie Oshry
Oh, you see, you think summer is June.
Claudia Oshry
You said early summer.
Jackie Oshry
I didn't say.
Claudia Oshry
And then it also. It also reminded me that we spent last summer watching the Olympics and how much fun that was and that we're not gonna have that this summer. Not to be, like, negative. Just.
Jackie Oshry
It reminded me we'll have something.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, we need to make something our thing this summer.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, we'll probably watch a lot of TV because we'll just be unemployed, literally.
Claudia Oshry
Maternity break Swirlies. Do you watch a lot of TV on maternity leave?
Jackie Oshry
Yes. You'll get in, like, you have to get. Find, like, your show, like, your postpartum show.
Claudia Oshry
Well, I'm really struggling finding, like, a show now, so I'm worried.
Jackie Oshry
No, it's. It's better postpartum because, like, you need something like, more mindless. Like, right now you're really looking for great content. But then, like, I mean, it's time to watch Molly Mae and Tommy on Love Island.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, wow.
Jackie Oshry
That was like, the best experience for me.
Claudia Oshry
Like, you need someone with a lot of hours.
Jackie Oshry
Oh, you're gonna log a lot of hours. Yeah.
Claudia Oshry
Okay.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. Are you ready for our next story? A little more TV news, because Jimmy Fallon and Bose, I saw this up to find the next big idea on a new reality show. So Jimmy Fallon and Real House. As a Beverly hills star, Bose St. John are coming together to find the next big idea on the new reality competition series on Brand with Jimmy Fallon. So NBC announced that the new show has been officially greenlit and will follow Jimmy as he starts a premier marketing agency and fills it with the most creative, clear, and competitive go getters he can find. He said, I love branding, I love marketing. I love the world of advertising. I think there are a lot of people out there who do as well. This show lets the audience and our contestants get a peek behind the curtain of how campaigns for some of the biggest brands come together and what goes into making them. It's exciting.
Claudia Oshry
Actually sounds like a really cute concept for a show. It's giving, like, House of DVF or.
Jackie Oshry
Whatever, but like House of Jimmy.
Claudia Oshry
No, but I guess they're going to be working for different brands. Like, yeah, but they get a campaign for.
Jackie Oshry
I like this idea for a show. I don't understand how Jimmy Fallon, like, applies here, aside from the fact that he has a love of marketing.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah. Who doesn't have a love of marketing? Like, yeah, I guess I get. Well, Bose is like a seasoned businesswoman.
Jackie Oshry
She's going to be the agency's chief marketing officer. She Will mentor the creatives and evaluate their work, which is great because she has an extensive history. She's Tim Gunn, a cmo.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, she's Tim Gunn.
Jackie Oshry
Right.
Claudia Oshry
An impartial gold. No, I love her getting opportunities, like, obsessed to give her all the roles. But in terms of, like, the framework of the show, like, I see her very much as like a neutral sort of kind of almost like. Well, RuPaul's like a judge. Like a Tim Gun.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, the mentor.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, the mentor. Like, very Patricia. Patricia alto. Yeah, I. I hear you. And. And I concur, like, what Jimmy's role on the show is and his connection to marketing, but maybe it's just a gig, you know?
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. Each episode will see the agency creatives work with a major brand in need of big ideas for a massive, high priority campaign. From creating earworm jingles and unbelievable activations to producing the most quotable commercials and Munch have merchandise. Yeah, this sounds like a good show. It does sound exactly like Project Runway.
Claudia Oshry
Or like a little bit like the Apprentice. Are the people, like, when I heard.
Jackie Oshry
Jingle, I'm thinking of Joe. Yeah. Splat.
Claudia Oshry
Are the contestants, like, just like marketers?
Jackie Oshry
I think they are professional marketers. Olivia should apply, by the way.
Claudia Oshry
Olivia should apply. Girl Boss Town should apply, of course.
Jackie Oshry
But I feel like she wouldn't be a contestant.
Claudia Oshry
Like, why? Like, she would crush. She would win.
Jackie Oshry
Unless all of the contestants, like, are the Elk of Girl Boss.
Claudia Oshry
Right, right, right. Are they entry level? Like, who are these people?
Jackie Oshry
People with a passion for marketing who maybe haven't had their big break yet.
Claudia Oshry
That's very niche.
Jackie Oshry
No, but I'm glad because, like, everybody does marketing. It's like, never been, like, the sexiest.
Claudia Oshry
They've never had their moment. And like, maybe.
Jackie Oshry
And people who do marketing, like, maybe, like your parents don't understand what you're doing. Like, now they can watch the show and see it's talent be for.
Claudia Oshry
For girls who work in marketing. What nobody wants. This was for girls who podcast.
Jackie Oshry
It's true. And it's gonna be like the next Mad Men, I think.
Claudia Oshry
Wow. Okay.
Jackie Oshry
Really putting a spotlight.
Claudia Oshry
What platform?
Jackie Oshry
The import of the advertising agency.
Claudia Oshry
Peacock.
Jackie Oshry
Well, it's NBC, so Peacock. Probably NBC.
Claudia Oshry
Oh. Oh, wow. Big cable show. Right?
Jackie Oshry
Some of the brands that will be featured include Captain Morgan, Duncan, KitchenAid, Marshalls, Pillsbury.
Claudia Oshry
No.
Jackie Oshry
So let me tell you, the show itself job. I would be a great contestant for this show.
Claudia Oshry
No. And the show itself is kind of brilliant because. Yeah, actually, I don't agree with that.
Jackie Oshry
You don't think I Would be so good on the show. I have so many great ideas for marketing and jingles. Like, I just. I'm always really.
Claudia Oshry
I don't. I don't know that about you. Like, what are you talking about?
Jackie Oshry
What do you mean? Like, I'm. I have ideas up the wazoo.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, about, like, campaigns, for sure.
Jackie Oshry
I could direct you towards campaigns.
Claudia Oshry
Okay, well, you haven't in the past. Like, why would I think that we don't do campaigns? Well, maybe we should.
Jackie Oshry
Like, in my previous jobs that I held, like, I was a marketer. A social media marketer.
Claudia Oshry
A social media marketer. Yeah. I.
Jackie Oshry
You know what else would be good for this? Okay, fine. You don't think I would be good for it? Just say it.
Claudia Oshry
I don't think you would be bad at it. I think if you were putting this show, like, you would rise to the occasion. But I wouldn't think of you as, like, oh, Jackie has to go on the show.
Jackie Oshry
No, but, like, KitchenAid is coming, and, like, we need to create, like, a campaign and images and a commercial and who's going to be the. Like, I would be amazing.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, because you just chose the brand that, like, you use and align with the most. Like, Jackie. Duncan.
Jackie Oshry
I can do Duncan. I love that.
Claudia Oshry
Okay.
Jackie Oshry
Fish wraps. I would put a spotlight on the breakfast wraps because I think they're underrated.
Claudia Oshry
And I would.
Jackie Oshry
I would do a campaign revenue stream for that.
Claudia Oshry
I would do a campaign to bring back their chocolate chip cookies.
Jackie Oshry
Oh, for damn sure. You know who else would be good for this show? But feel free to disagree with me again. My husband.
Claudia Oshry
Okay. Your husband should apply for this show.
Jackie Oshry
Person for this show.
Claudia Oshry
So when I say that when I think of a type of person, yes, your husband would be good. I don't think of you. I think of your husband. But if you were cast on the show, I don't think you would be the first out. I think you would make it quite far.
Jackie Oshry
Thank you. Yeah, maybe I wouldn't be the winner.
Claudia Oshry
But I would rise to the occasion.
Jackie Oshry
I could hold my own here.
Claudia Oshry
Your husband literally should apply for this show. It's so him. He has so many great ideas.
Jackie Oshry
And, like, he just, like, he's the ideas guy.
Claudia Oshry
He's jingling all the way home.
Jackie Oshry
Jingle all the way.
Claudia Oshry
I love that.
Jackie Oshry
Well, I will watch the show.
Claudia Oshry
I kind of would, too. It is giving, you know, the big shot with Bethany.
Jackie Oshry
Agreed.
Claudia Oshry
It is like, people just like, you're not winning, like, America's Next Top Model. You. You're gonna become famous. Like, if you win this competition, like, all you get is a job.
Jackie Oshry
Like, yeah, that's true. But, like, it. It does really. The template is more so like the Apprentice, which is also what Bethany's was. And, like, that was the biggest show on tv. People, like, and it was a really good show. So I think there's. We need more of that.
Claudia Oshry
Agreed. Back. And bringing bows in is sort of icing on the cake.
Jackie Oshry
Fired.
Claudia Oshry
Inspired.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. So.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, I'm sorry. And what I was gonna say is I'm so down. The show, in and of itself, is quite brilliant because them having brands come on every episode, the brand has to pay to be featured as the lead. Whatever. So the show in and of itself is successful before it. Even if nobody watches it, the show is successful.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. But also, the person who wins could maybe, like, get money to, like, start their own shop.
Claudia Oshry
Agency. Yeah.
Jackie Oshry
And then whoever watched the show, like, if I saw if the person who won, like, was amazing and we ever needed a marketing agency, like, I would reach out to that person.
Claudia Oshry
Yes. You know what? Because I often wonder. I only ever watched Celebrity Apprentice, obviously, because I'm normal, and I only watched a season with Joan Rivers because I'm also normal. But I know that there was a show with regular, actual successful business people. And Bill Rancic. Yeah, Bill Rancic, Juliana Rancic's husband, is, like, one of the most well known winners, and he went on to do. You know, they're very successful. But, like, at what business?
Jackie Oshry
But what kind of business you win.
Claudia Oshry
Right? That's what the show should be called. But On Brand is good.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, On Brand is On Brand, but.
Claudia Oshry
It should have been what kind of business y'all in?
Jackie Oshry
Marketing.
Claudia Oshry
Okay.
Jackie Oshry
Sure.
Claudia Oshry
I like this show a lot, and I probably would have clowned on it before they said Bose was involved.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah.
Claudia Oshry
It's amazing.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, Agreed. It should have been Don Draper.
Claudia Oshry
John Ham should host it. I feel like he's showing up for everything these days.
Jackie Oshry
Like, I agree. And he's kind of giving, like, Don Draper.
Claudia Oshry
No. He's gonna be, like, a little overexposed.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah.
Claudia Oshry
Doing too much.
Jackie Oshry
But he's really goofy and proud. But when you're dying Draper, like, he's ruining the mystique of John Draper.
Claudia Oshry
I know. He's, like, doing too many projects, like Landman, that Apple TV show.
Jackie Oshry
And he's also, like, the reverend from Kimmy Schmidt.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah. He's just, like, doing too much.
Jackie Oshry
Our next.
Claudia Oshry
Maybe he has, like, a. Like, he lives an expensive life, you know, like, he just needs to keep working. Maybe he's, like, a Lot of kids or something.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. He's got expensive hobbies.
Claudia Oshry
Correct. Maybe collects Birkin bags.
Jackie Oshry
Maybe. Our next story. Haley Seinfeld is opening up about why she made the difficult decision to take a break from music. I know.
Claudia Oshry
This is what I Just to be clear, Haley Steinfeld.
Jackie Oshry
Haley Steinfeld. Yeah.
Claudia Oshry
She's not related to Jerry.
Jackie Oshry
Drop the tea.
Claudia Oshry
Okay.
Jackie Oshry
Haley is dipping her toes back into the music world and opening up about why she left in the first place.
Claudia Oshry
And left us seriously gagged, wanting more.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. She stars in the upcoming action thriller Sinners, and she also sang a song for its soundtrack called Dangerous, and it marks her first release since 2023. And she's excited about it, to say the least. She said I had taken a break from music, which was a very difficult decision to make, but I wanted to focus on my app, acting, and I was happy to be doing that. It goes without saying, but music is a love of mine and a huge passion and something that has played a very strong role in my life in many more ways than one. And having had the opportunity to make music through the years of my own is something I will take for granted.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah. Like, she is the definition of a multi hyphenate. She's, like, so good at everything that she just had to choose one. And she chose acting, which I understand, but, like, she was an amazing pop star. She was well on her way to becoming huge. She was opening. Now, obviously, opening for Katy Perry doesn't mean as much now as it was once did, but on the Prism World tour, like, it was huge.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah.
Claudia Oshry
Or maybe it was wonder. No, it was Prism. And, like, she was global. She was really on her way. Like, when you think of how short lived her music career was, but how many hits she had, like, it's actually really impressive.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, definitely. So.
Claudia Oshry
But she chose acting. She must have liked it, like, a little bit more. And she's great at it, too.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. And she's been acting since she was eight. True grit.
Claudia Oshry
That's her thing. Yeah. She came on the scene being like, that young swirly at the Oscars.
Jackie Oshry
Right. And if she was being a pop star, like, maybe the day that she met Josh Allen in her pop star parallel life, like, she would have been out of town that day and not met Josh Allen. So I would say, like, all of her decisions have been the right ones because they led her to this place in her life.
Claudia Oshry
It's the butterfly effect. Like, if you had continued being a pop star, like, what would we make of Josh Allen?
Jackie Oshry
Josh Allen might be elsewhere and not with Haley. And maybe she'd be the next Josh Allen.
Claudia Oshry
Could be dead.
Jackie Oshry
Maybe she'd be the next Sabrina. But then she's dating Barry Keoghan. It's not the same thing.
Claudia Oshry
No, it's not. So close.
Jackie Oshry
I think she's made the right decision for Haley's self, even though, like, we suffer. We suffered at the time.
Claudia Oshry
Especially because, like, you think is Haley Steinfeld's best song.
Jackie Oshry
I love May.
Claudia Oshry
Okay. The song Love Myself by Haley Steinfeld is one. It's one of the best pop songs of the last century. But just don't listen to the lyrics too close, because you'll realize it's a song about masturbation.
Jackie Oshry
But it's double entendre. So, like, on the surface, it's just about loving yourself.
Claudia Oshry
Okay. She has so many ready. I didn't know that I was starving till I tasted you. Okay. In capital lettuce.
Jackie Oshry
Oh, that's really good.
Claudia Oshry
Let me go with Alesso. I mean, like, I know it, but it's not coming to mind. Oh, classic. Yeah. In the ways I couldn't. Okay. Love myself. Oh, Jackie. Most girls are smart and strong and beautiful. Coast with Anderson Paak. That's the new one.
Jackie Oshry
Interesting. And no. And Dangerous from Sinners.
Claudia Oshry
Got it. Got it. Rock bottom. I mean, now we're getting to songs. I don't know.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But.
Claudia Oshry
But no discography. She can and should be proud of. Well, just Pitch Perfect was, like, a perfect blend of her two passion loves. A blockbuster hit.
Jackie Oshry
And dancing and singing.
Claudia Oshry
And singing. So maybe. Maybe the lesson here is we need to pitch perfect 4.
Jackie Oshry
Maybe lesson here is trust Haley.
Claudia Oshry
Trust Haley. I agree. And I do trust Haley. I'm not even mad at her, like, in the way that, like, people are mad at Rihanna for choosing makeup over music.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, I'm.
Claudia Oshry
I'm just sort of, like, sad for myself.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, same. But the girlies have stepped it up in her absence.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, my God. We are fed. We are fine. We're fine.
Jackie Oshry
So as long as Haley's happy, I'm happy.
Claudia Oshry
And I want her to know, like, when she does want to come back in any capacity, like, I'm. I'm sad. I'm ready.
Jackie Oshry
From the new action thriller Sinners.
Claudia Oshry
That's also a great way to blend your two loves. Like, accept roles where they let you write original music for the soundtrack. I love that she should be in Hunger Games. Like, the Hunger Games soundtrack is always, like, a big thing. Yeah. You see the new Hunger Games there? No, but it's so true. You and I will be safe and sound.
Jackie Oshry
What about. Are you. Are you. Oh, are you coming to the tree?
Claudia Oshry
The tree. And then Olivia Rodrigo just had a big song. That's so creepy. No stranger would it be.
Jackie Oshry
That song was a cultural reset.
Claudia Oshry
It was. That song was on par with.
Jackie Oshry
Huh.
Claudia Oshry
I got my ticket for the long way round. Nobody was more influenced. Nobody was more influenced by that than us. Like, oh, my God, we were slapping those cups all day long. And the fun thing was, like, we already knew the cup melody because if you went to camp, you knew that cup little jingle, but everybody thought it was, like, original to.
Jackie Oshry
Of Kendrick.
Claudia Oshry
No, no, we were doing that at camp. Like, everybody knew. Red solo cup. Flip it over. Like, please.
Jackie Oshry
Are you. Are you.
Claudia Oshry
Hanging up? I'm crying. I don't know why.
Jackie Oshry
Strange things.
Claudia Oshry
No, it's so good.
Jackie Oshry
DJ Earworm could never, would never.
Claudia Oshry
I dare him.
Jackie Oshry
Actually, I just lost all my stories from the banging.
Claudia Oshry
That's good.
Jackie Oshry
From the banging on the iPad. No, I found it. Hailee Steinfeld. Queen Elish.
Claudia Oshry
Queen Elish.
Jackie Oshry
She'll be my Queenie of the Week.
Claudia Oshry
Do you think they're able to originate, like, who came up with that cup beat thing?
Jackie Oshry
No.
Claudia Oshry
Do they have to pay someone?
Jackie Oshry
No, that's like folklore.
Claudia Oshry
Folklore and not the Taylor Swift sets. I mean, the original definition of the word.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, yeah.
Claudia Oshry
Well, actually, I don't know if you saw the girl who invented the Apple Dance. So I guess she copyrighted her dance, which she should like.
Jackie Oshry
Okay.
Claudia Oshry
And Charlie XCS is doing something with Fortnite, and Fortnite was working with her to license the dance. And, like, they didn't come to an agreement or whatever, and then they just use the dance. So she's suing them now.
Jackie Oshry
Interesting. That's nice. If, like, she's gonna get paid by Fortnite, but, like, what does it mean for the regular person? Do you know what I mean? Like, if. So if you want to do the dance on Tick Tock, like, and it's copyrighted, what does that mean?
Claudia Oshry
So I happen to see her all over my Tick Tock. And she's very like her. She has her armpits grown out. Like, she's very hippie. So she's not suing any individual. Like, that's not her. But then, like, people found out she's, like, low key, really rich. Her family has, like, this huge house in Hawaii. But she's, like, all about. Like, she's. She's, like, kind of like a communist, you know? Like. Yeah, yeah. And everybody's. She's like, Taking a vlog, like, going to Hawaii. And people like, wait, why are you in Hawaii? Because, you know, you're not supposed to visit Hawaii if you're not from Hawaii. It's, like, bad. Well, she's like, well, me and my family have a house here, so, like, we're not. So we're, you know. Right, right. And then they were like, wait, your family has a house here? And then people found out she's, like, really rich.
Jackie Oshry
Damn.
Claudia Oshry
Excuse me. Which makes sense as to why she was able to like, secure legal.
Jackie Oshry
Lawyer up.
Claudia Oshry
Lawyer up. Copyrights to Fortnite. But she's always. Remember when they nominated her for a VMA and didn't invite her? And she's, like, always making news. She's like. She demands respect for creating this dance. And I actually really respect it, by the way.
Jackie Oshry
Like, no, I don't know any of these things.
Claudia Oshry
We talked about it on the toast. Yes.
Jackie Oshry
People make dances every day on the talk.
Claudia Oshry
Yes. But hers went super viral. And she got nominated for a vma. Her dance, it was, like, best dance. They came up with, like, some category, and they didn't even invite her.
Jackie Oshry
Well, I saw Kylie learning it at Coach.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah.
Jackie Oshry
Did you see that?
Claudia Oshry
Of course I did. She almost lost your titties by Gabriette and Alex Kosani, Fashion girlies.
Jackie Oshry
I know Gabriette.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, I know Alex. Of course I know Gabriette. Of course. As it pertains to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills of it all.
Jackie Oshry
Because she looks like Amelia.
Claudia Oshry
Well, they say Amelia actually looks like Gabriette, and then, like, Amelia copies everything Gabriette does. But then Amelia and Gabriette just did a campaign together. It was kind of like, you know, it was. I forget what it was for, but it was very much like, you know, calling off the dogs. Like, we are good.
Jackie Oshry
Well, is it one of those campaigns where they have their heads to heads and they look like. That was Fendi that did that. They did with.
Claudia Oshry
They look like twins. They look like twins.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. They are finding, like, doppelgangers. But it wasn't hard because everyone looks alike these days.
Claudia Oshry
No. And especially, like, if you've been following, like, Amelia Gray wasn't born this way. Like, she made herself look like.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, Gabriette. Yeah, Gabriette. I like saying that, too. I think Gabriette should date Nate Bargaisy so she could be Gabriette Bargy.
Claudia Oshry
I think that Nate Bargaisy, like, has a family.
Jackie Oshry
Cool. Cool. So maybe, like, his son, if he's grown.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, I think his son is like three.
Jackie Oshry
Cool, cool, cool.
Claudia Oshry
So you're shipping her with a three year old?
Jackie Oshry
No, I said if he's grown.
Claudia Oshry
Cool.
Jackie Oshry
Are you ready for a fourth story?
Claudia Oshry
No, I don't think that I am. Right?
Jackie Oshry
I guess not.
Claudia Oshry

But more importantly, they have built in shorts that you can pull down without having to pull your entire entire dress down. So with all your bathroom breaks, you can still look cute, not have to deal with the disaster of stripping down. Like the public humiliation of being completely nude in a public restroom is not worth any cute outfit. Like, no outfit's worth that. Also, if you're training, like let's say you're actually working out, like, you know, for the purpose of working out. They have great shorts. They have, they hit like, just like the right spot in your mid rise area. They come in so many different colors. They're really flattering, really cute. And the last thing I'll say is that you guys know we're obsessed with Roback because of their sets, like their hoodies, their joggers, their crewnecks. That's definitely my vibe for the next couple of months. And I love the ones from Roback. Also their men's items are really cute. So men's sweat, like jogger sets can be like really ugly and slobbish. I love the ones from Roback you can match with your man. You can also just like not. But don't sleep on their crewnecks, hoodies and joggers. They're really cute. Our code toast@roback.com will get you a generous 20 off your first order through the end of this week. Roback is R H O B A C K. And our code is toast for 20 off your first order through the end of this week.
Jackie Oshry
Thank you, Claude.
Claudia Oshry
You're welcome.
Jackie Oshry
Our next story, Michelle Trachtenberg's official cause of death has been regarded after she died at the age of 39. So the new York City office of Chief Medical examiner confirmed to People magazine on Wednesday that the actress's sudden death was a result of complications of diabetes mellitus. The manner of death was ruled as natural. The spokesperson said the amended determination was made following review of toxicology testing results. According to the spokesperson, toxicology testing can be done without an autopsy.
Claudia Oshry
So I remember like when this happened, it happened the same time, like around Gene Hackman. And they were both like so suspicious and so sad and so weird. So for us to have gotten clarity on both of those things, they're both so sad. Yeah, like she just was, what, a 35 year old girl who dies of natural causes, like, that's not how the World is supposed to work.
Jackie Oshry
Right? Right. To die Suddenly when you're 39. Right. Really, really sad. I don't know what diabetes mellitus is, so.
Claudia Oshry
Me neither.
Jackie Oshry
How that differentiates, but just terrible.
Claudia Oshry
No, seriously, like, uncool.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah.
Claudia Oshry
I'm wishing, like, her family. Well, she was really so young and so beautiful.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. So talented and, like, so ingrained in culture and everything.
Claudia Oshry
Culture. Especially for people our age. Yes.
Jackie Oshry
She did not show up for work.
Claudia Oshry
When she showed up for work, she showed up for work.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. Just everything that she did, like, became iconic because she was in it. Like, maybe Ice Princess was a bad movie. Anyone ever consider that? But it wasn't.
Claudia Oshry
Okay. It wasn't. And Kim Kacha.
Jackie Oshry
And Harriet the Spy. And Julianne.
Claudia Oshry
Harriet the Spy. No. And Georgina Juliet. Oh, Julianne. No. Hayden Panettiere.
Jackie Oshry
But she's Juliet from Nashville.
Claudia Oshry
Juliet in Nashville. Yeah.
Jackie Oshry
Hence the confusion.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah.
Jackie Oshry
Of course. Georgina Shrimp.
Claudia Oshry
The little jumping shrimp. Yes. Ice Princess is the best movie.
Jackie Oshry
It is. Okay. Okay. So that pass is muster.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah. Yeah.
Jackie Oshry
No, but Harriet the Spy, was she worth her salt?
Claudia Oshry
No.
Jackie Oshry
Michelle.
Claudia Oshry
She was a terrible spy.
Jackie Oshry
Michelle made her great.
Claudia Oshry
Georgina. Like, nobody has ever acted better. Like, they should study her in acting school.
Jackie Oshry
It's true.
Claudia Oshry
So it's just a really sad, sad story. Especially for, like, millennial swirlies.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. Our fifth and final story will lead into our TV recap, if that sounds good to you, because.
Claudia Oshry
So it sounds like. It sounds like two birds, one stone.
Jackie Oshry
Two birds, one turd.
Claudia Oshry
Two birds.
Jackie Oshry
Paige Sorbo is doubling down on her claims that Craig was texting other women during their relationship.
Claudia Oshry
Oh. Oh, my God. Wait, I didn't see this.
Jackie Oshry
Yes. So she doubled down on the claims that he was texting other women because we saw a preview for the end of the season. We haven't watched this yet where she. He's not defending the people who are calling her a cheater in their breakup. And she said on the show that we haven't seen yet, she said, you're gonna let people say that I'm a cheater? I caught you texting 2 in the course of our relationship. So of course, that sent the world into a frenzy, and we're just sort of waiting to see what it was. But. And of course, he maintains that, like, he never. What, Stepped out where.
Claudia Oshry
So now that she's talking on what platform?
Jackie Oshry
To Vulture. And she said as part of the interview, she said, I don't know. Honestly, I don't know if it was platonic or anything more, but there were multiple times in our relationship where I gave him so much grace. Like, should I have broken up with him a year and a half ago when I saw him texting hearts to a girl? Probably. But again, I loved him, and I wanted to marry him.
Claudia Oshry
Okay, so this is. I need more content.
Jackie Oshry
I'm sorry.
Claudia Oshry
To a girl. No, Ben, you're sending hearts to a girl. Go to jail. Like, seriously, go to jail.
Jackie Oshry
I need to see the girl.
Claudia Oshry
I need to know more.
Jackie Oshry
I need to see the girl.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, who's the girl? Yeah, I need to know more. But, like. Yeah, but let me say this. Paige. That does not look good. Yikes.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. No. What does she look like, first of all? Like, is she single?
Claudia Oshry
Because maybe she threatening?
Jackie Oshry
Like, you know what I mean? There are girls that are threats, and then there are girls that are just like, your ladies.
Claudia Oshry
Was it your aunt?
Jackie Oshry
Like you?
Claudia Oshry
Yeah. Yeah.
Jackie Oshry
Did he send you a heart?
Claudia Oshry
Oh, my God. Imagine she's talking about me.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, you're like an old married lady.
Claudia Oshry
Like, right, Right. Like, am I. Am I harmful? Do I pose a threat?
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. So we're gonna need more information. I hope we're gonna get more information when that clip does air. But we.
Claudia Oshry
Me, too.
Jackie Oshry
Learning a lot about their relationship in Summer House, which aired last night.
Claudia Oshry
More. The wheels are coming off. Like, I'm sure everybody around her who she's, like, actually, like, opening up to, like, Sierra, like, the breakup was the least shocking thing ever, like, to us. It was, but it's really interesting, and it was, like, sad to hear her say that. Like, so much of, like, public fallout and public perception, like, stops her from making choices. Yeah. And, like, she's just afraid of what people will say, which is, like, the worst thing when you feel like you can't make the best decision for your own life because of, like, the fans.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. I definitely think that might have delayed the breakup.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah.
Jackie Oshry
And I think that happens a lot of times with couples, like, especially people from the Bachelor, where, like, so many people are invested in your relationship and, like, you almost don't want to let them down. But I also think there's, like, something empowering when so many people are rooting for you. Like, it might. It's not that you don't want to let them down. That's one thing. But another where you start to, like, see yourself through their eyes, and you're like, no, it is great. Like, we are Craig and Paige. Like, and I feel like it might give the relationship a little bit of longer legs, but in a nice way, like, because, yeah, they're, like, championing you.
Claudia Oshry
It helps to be loved, to be.
Jackie Oshry
Like, it's always good telling your relationship with shit. The moment you feel. Realize it's shit. Like, you're like, ah, get me out of here.
Claudia Oshry
And I could really, like, sense the anxiety that Paige was having in the bed scrolling. And then when she moved beds. And I'm glad that she opened up to Sierra, but I was like. And this is what I was talking about the beginning of the show. Like, I think that Sierra, like, starting to cry before Paige even cried. Just being like, I feel like you're really anxious. And then, like, just. She kind of took on Paige's emotions the entire episode with Emerald. Yes. Yes. Like, Paige was mad at Emeril, and then Sierra goes outside and curses him out as if she's the one who was kept up all night. And she wasn't.
Jackie Oshry
No, she wasn't. Because he's had sex all season and it. It's never been an issue unless it has been. We just didn't see, but, like, it seems like in their room, they don't hear Emeril. And then the room that they're upstairs, downstairs, Paige went to. She heard Emerald.
Claudia Oshry
Right. She was in downstairs.
Jackie Oshry
He's in, like, off the kitchen.
Claudia Oshry
Right. So, like, I. I felt like her behavior this episode was very strange only as it pertained to Paige. Like, I feel like Paige is going through a lot and I could sense that from her. Like, she was almost giving me anxiety. Like. Yeah, with her, like, scrolling and I get off your phone.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. And.
Claudia Oshry
And then, like, Emerald keeping her up. Like, I understand why she was so mad. Like.
Jackie Oshry
And also I had to, like, after a long day of day drinking, like, there's actually no. And you have. You're having anxiety in your life already. And then it's heightened by the drinking and you can't sleep. Because I, like, I could feel that.
Claudia Oshry
It'S a recipe for hell.
Jackie Oshry
Those are the worst hours.
Claudia Oshry
1000%. So while I did feel like the only person who had, like, a legitimate gripe with Emerald was Paige, I felt like, overall, no.
Jackie Oshry
But he's not being, like, a good.
Claudia Oshry
I know. I feel conflicted, like he's not being a good housemate or whatever. But, like, when I think about the show, like, I love this cast. They lay in bed all day, like, someone's gotta go out.
Jackie Oshry
Like that's what they need to do. What he's doing is not contributing to the show whatsoever. We don't even know it's not the girls he's bringing home. We don't even hear from Them. He's literally like, a border renting a room, and his escapades contribute nothing to the show. And they also take away from the show. Because now. No, like. Like, before, when he came in, like, there's a ton of single girls in the house. Maybe some of them, like, would start talking to you, but when you, like, act like this, it's very unattractive. They are literally, like, go get tested. Nobody's gonna want to get with him. And he's taking away from the show, and. And he is being a bad roommate. And it is weird to have all these strangers coming in and out of the house in the middle of the night. You don't know these people. Like, I think it needed to be said, but, like, Sierra saying it that day because of how Paige felt. Like, it was just. You know, it seemed like it was for Paige, but I think, in general, it needed to be said. I feel that way as a viewer. This isn't a brothel.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah. I feel like when he got. He's like. Hasn't been a part of any drama, right? So this is, like, his first. And it's a small, like, conversation, and his response saying that, like, you know, I was undocumented for so many years, and so I'm now gonna, like, live loud. Like, I actually think his story about being undocumented is so crazy and really interesting, and I'm not clowning on that at all, but, like, to bring it up, like, in a fight, like, that's your excuse. Like, you're living it loud. Because, I don't know, you're just getting it in.
Jackie Oshry
Like, just.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, like, just out.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, I definitely. And also, how awkward is that? Like, I mean, maybe it's less awkward for it.
Claudia Oshry
It's a conversation ender. No.
Jackie Oshry
Well, he said it in his confessional.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, okay.
Jackie Oshry
I believe.
Claudia Oshry
Okay.
Jackie Oshry
No, but how. Okay to be, like, for someone to sit you down and be like, you're a. And it's really, like, like, inconvenient to the house dynamic. Like, I think it would be harder for a girl to hear that. Like, if a girl was obviously for bringing people home. Like, I would seriously crawl into a hole. And I. And he's just, so. I felt, like, a little embarrassed for him, but I think he should be a little embarrassed.
Claudia Oshry
But he said he's like, I'll stop. Like, he. I. Like, I felt bad for him. Like, I don't know. I wasn't, like, hating on him as much as everybody else hates what he's doing.
Jackie Oshry
But, like, the fact that we have to talk about it. Like I, my cheeks are clenched. When Jesse was like maybe an away game once in a while. Like he's so funny.
Claudia Oshry
When Wes and Kyle got home at 5:30, which like I can't even talk about for the 42 year old and they had, they had the five month pregnant woman lugging herself downstairs to open the door for them. Like I actually wanted to throw up.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. West is, by the way. I just wanna. Well, that's what happens in the Hamptons. It happens with ours too. With the heat. It expands the wood and then it doesn't fit in the door frame. True.
Claudia Oshry
Yes. I forgot about that.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, that's just like a funny Hampton thing. West is really having as good of a season as he can have. Considering he was like the weenie of the year. I feel like he's doing all the right things.
Claudia Oshry
Agreed.
Jackie Oshry
And I like for the house.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, and to be clear, him coming home at 5:30, like love that for you. I'm talking about Kyle, of course.
Jackie Oshry
But like he's just like, he's, he's a value add. Like no matter how you want to say, completely agree. Like all over my. I don't follow him on Instagram, but like he's in, he's in Matt James's Passover Seder from Kickball Friends. Like, yeah, he's with Brianna Lapogli.
Claudia Oshry
Like he's doing like he's a great reality.
Jackie Oshry
He's a value add to the show and, and even in his professionals, like he always has funny stuff to say. I like his friendship with Jesse. He's so supportive.
Claudia Oshry
Me too.
Jackie Oshry
Like, and the cancer moment when they went to the lodge and they gave back and that was so beautiful. And like that's when I just like want to wrap Jesse in a hug. Like he's such, he's such a king.
Claudia Oshry
I know. I have a hard time holding space for his dual personalities. Like he is PJ Mensch. Bring him home to your mother. Like so sweet. Been through so much. Gives back to the community. He like loves to sing. He's like releasing music.
Jackie Oshry
I saw. He's releasing music.
Claudia Oshry
Like there's so many cute little things about him. But seriously, I hate this man. Like the. When he got. First of all, him being like you're flirting with Wes. Like I'm sorry I, I wasn't there, but I know she was.
Jackie Oshry
I know.
Claudia Oshry
Like, I just like, I know she wasn't. She's obsessed with Jesse and she is very. She has said this a million times. Like I'm a one girl. I'm a one guy growl. Like, she's obsessed with Jesse. Jesse like she's in a house. I just don't think she was flirting with.
Jackie Oshry
I wanted to make himself feel better and be like, look, we're the same. We're not the same.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah, you are not the same. And then telling her that he loves her in the bed. Like, I felt sick because then when he said that thing to Ciara at the cancer thing, I was like, I, I'm done with you. Like that to me was the. Your girlfriend has just asked you to, like, be respectful and so you'd be.
Jackie Oshry
Like, ah, Sierra, don't touch me.
Claudia Oshry
Like, fucking drama queen. I wanted to. Like, it makes her look crazy. She has not once asked him to do something that was unreasonable, in my opinion. So for. For him to have a conversation with Sierra. And I see why Sierra is like, okay, that's so rude. Telling me not to touch you. Like, she's not wrong for being mad. Him making a big kerfuffle out of it. Like, you are responsible for your own actions. So, like, why don't you not flirt with people and then there won't be a problem.
Jackie Oshry
Sierra doesn't have to change her behavior. No, Jesse has to change his. So Jesse shouldn't touch Sierra's arm. But if Sierra wants to touch his arm, like, that's the least of the issues between them. Don't lay on top of her in bathing suits on a pool float. Don't put your leg over her. Like, that's the sort of things we're going to scale back first. You want to get to perfection. Why don't you work on all those things first? And again, it's up to him to change his behavior. If a girl touches your arm, like, there's nothing that you could do about it. But of course you've corrected every single thing that you've done. Don't you dare start telling other people what to do.
Claudia Oshry
But, like, making a big scene out of it, like, just makes Lexi look so bad when she really has not been unreasonable at all. I'm dying for her to break up with him. It's so annoying that all these things keep happening and she doesn't see it. And then, like, the version she gets like, is the truth, but it's not, like, accurate enough. Yeah, it's so fudgeing frustrating. And that pissed me off so much.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, that was weird. Just, he's not bad. He's not understanding, like, what's being asked of him and why. No. And why?
Claudia Oshry
No. And like, does he like her? Like, I'm so confused.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, he does really like her, but.
Claudia Oshry
This is how he doesn't act.
Jackie Oshry
Like it's not enough to, like, exercise some willpower. But I don't think there's anyone that could make him behave any. I don't think he can meet any girl that would be. That he likes more. That would be more perfect. That would make him behave any differently than he does right now. Because that's just him. Like Lexi. Seriously.
Claudia Oshry
Because let's say he got with Sierra.
Jackie Oshry
He would.
Claudia Oshry
Sierra's his girlfriend. He would do it with the next girl.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. Amanda and everyone in the house.
Claudia Oshry
And I just want to be clear so far, because so much of what Wes, like, got for we didn't see so far, Jesse's behavior has been 10 times worse than anything west did last season.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. It's all happening in, like, turbo mode.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah. And it's all on camera.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. But it's happening in the span of, like, four weeks, whereas West's took, like, about eight months, six months.
Claudia Oshry
Right. I also love to see them out leaving the house, like, going clubbing. Like, that's. That's fun.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. It was kind of a random episode because it's just like a Sunday morning into the week and then like some.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, yeah. Then we went to the city.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah. But it was.
Claudia Oshry
But I do like when they film in the city.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, me too.
Claudia Oshry
For so long, it was like they didn't see each other for five days.
Jackie Oshry
Like, that's one of that hummus platter.
Claudia Oshry
When the girls were out.
Jackie Oshry
When the girls were out. Probably those pitas. I need a pita.
Claudia Oshry
They do film at interesting places in the city.
Jackie Oshry
Where was that?
Claudia Oshry
Like, places you've never heard of.
Jackie Oshry
Oh, well, they have to get filming.
Claudia Oshry
Wherever they can get, like, a permit.
Jackie Oshry
And even the food for the. The Hope Lodge thing looks so good.
Claudia Oshry
I mean, the taco.
Jackie Oshry
I need a Taco Bell. I'm just hungry and I'm craving bread. Is the season.
Claudia Oshry
Yeah.
Jackie Oshry
Yeah, But I want a taco bowl. Like, I might go to Chipotle after last night's episode up and go to Chipotle. I don't know. Chipotle gives me the willies.
Claudia Oshry
That was a Neuralta for you.
Jackie Oshry
Neuralt. Let me see. Oh, you had your dose of Neuralta. I hope everyone's feeling better.
Claudia Oshry
An hour long episode. Like, how regular are we?
Jackie Oshry
Yeah.
Claudia Oshry
Oh, my God. She just hung up. Our call failed. I really don't want to call her back. Here's what I'll do. I wonder if she's talking. Hopefully she's not, because I could just, like, wrap up. Hopefully she's just, like, sitting in silence. Okay. Have you talked? Because I've been talking, telling everyone what's going on.
Jackie Oshry
No. Did you end.
Claudia Oshry
No, like I'm saying, like, I'm gonna end it. I'm just gonna end it. I'm leaving all of this. Okay.
Jackie Oshry
Leave it all in. I didn't talk because I thought maybe you do the whole sign off.
Claudia Oshry
Okay. No, I'm turning off. Okay, I'm hanging up and I'm gonna sign off.
Jackie Oshry
Wait. Okay. I'm gonna shut it.
Claudia Oshry
Actually, wait. Just stay with me.
Jackie Oshry
Okay.
