Jackson Claude
Good morning, girlies. It's the Toast. It's Jackson Claude, and we're your host. It's your favorite show, the best five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly. It's the Toast.
Jacqueline Foley
I sound amazing.
Jackson Claude
Welcome back to the Toast and happy Tuesday. I am choosing to spend this absolutely gorgeous day with a woman that I love, that I admire, and most importantly, that I respect. It's the one, the only, Jacqueline Foley.
Jacqueline Foley
Hello, turtle. Ooh. You have no choice, but no choice. Thanks for acting like you do.
Jackson Claude
I do.
Jacqueline Foley
You have no choice but to spend the day with me because it's our big week.
Jackson Claude
Yes. Big week in New York City. It's literally bright lights, big city, Three bucks, two bags, one beer. One beer, one beer. Yeah, I got. I'm getting my Luke Combs and Annie references mixed up. Bright lights, big city, Jackson Claude. Today. We're so busy. Podcast, podcast, podcast. Meeting, Meeting, meeting.
Jacqueline Foley
Yesterday I was so busy. Was podcasting into the wee hours. I actually recorded a really fun interview yesterday that will probably go up next month. And I'm really excited for you guys to hear. I was like. Because I recorded it so late. Whatever I do before bed is like what I in your brain think about, like, as I toss and turn. And I was just, like, thinking about the interview. Like, so many funny things that were said. It was honestly hysterical. And not to, you know, tease something that' available yet, but just wait.
Jackson Claude
But just to know, like, maternity leave is going off without a hitch. Like, seems like everything's going fine without me. You would, you would say, yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
And it's like Jax is talking more than ever.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. You hate to see it. You really hate to see it.
Jacqueline Foley
Watch this space, my friend.
Jackson Claude
Did you feel extra tired after your first maternity leave interview yesterday? Because, like, you were talking so much more than you normally are.
Jacqueline Foley
I felt invigorated. I could have kept going and going. I don't even know how long the interview was. It was like over an hour. And I knew I had to end it, but I wasn't done.
Jackson Claude
She won't be done.
Jacqueline Foley
This is like years worth of pent up conversations and questions.
Jackson Claude
I'm glad.
Jacqueline Foley
And I just could ask the person anything I wanted. How freeing is it at any time? And I asked some really crazy questions.
Jackson Claude
That's what you can come to expect from Jackie Owen. Friends, the maternity leave special.
Jacqueline Foley
What I also realized about the guests that I've chosen because I'm like, the interview from yesterday. I'm like, so up this person's butt. Like, literally up there, like, hey, look at me coming out their mouth. And. And that's the kind of energy you can expect because I really chose to podcast with people who I either am friends with, who I really like, or I really admire and want to meet. So it's not like I'm just up anyone's. But just know, like, these are a select few people who I really love. I wouldn't just be like that for anyone.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. Yeah. Well, I'm glad that you're kind of like having your fangirl moment.
Jacqueline Foley
I feel like people who have hundreds of guests, like, if you're up every guest, but you can't be up hundreds of butts.
Jackson Claude
And it gets old quickly. Like, you're not obsessed with everyone at some point. Like, a guest is a guest.
Jacqueline Foley
And then I'm not saying that's like always like my interviewing style, but so many of the people that I've chosen to have on are just people that I'm really obsessed with. And I follow them as a fan, too. So you will find me up there. But you will. And you know where else you will find the corner?
Jackson Claude
Do you know where you will find me? Choptoes merch.com. tomorrow at 10:00am Eastern Time. Now, Jackie and I are headed. Usually we like to wear our merch on the show to promote the drop. Like, we are headed to just like fancy business meetings. All week long, we haven't been able to, like, you know, wear our merch because it's not like, appropriate where we're going. But just know, even though it is.
Jacqueline Foley
Chanel and I do think like, the restaurant that we're going to does like, but it's more like of Chanel Leisure line and not appropriate for our business. Working lunch.
Jackson Claude
Yeah, it's the resort collection from chanel.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
So 10:00am Eastern time, we have a spring merch collection. You can check out our Instagram for all the pieces, our iconic T shirts that everybody's obsessed with. We are bringing them back in three new designs. We have crewnecks, we have sweatshirts. We have phone cases, we have hats. We have tote bags. And so it'll be 10am Eastern Time tomorrow. You're not going to want to miss it. You're really not.
Jacqueline Foley
No. Don't you dare.
Jackson Claude
And then I'm sure it's a story so, like, I won't really get into it about Kylie and Timothy, but last night was the next game.
Jacqueline Foley
Last night was the next game. It kind of took over the city. This was like the first Knicks game that I've been in the city for.
Jackson Claude
And it's electric now.
Jacqueline Foley
It's electric and everything. I was just, like, very aware that the Knicks game is on. Like, I came home and Zach watching the Knicks game. And then I know he wanted to go over to your place because Ben was having the Brunson boys over.
Jackson Claude
The Brunson boys did watch the game together.
Jacqueline Foley
My husband went, I don't know if.
Jackson Claude
You know, I did know that. And I said, like, was there, like, some sort of ceremony inducting Zach into the Brunson boy Hall of Fame and bets and no Is, like, very chill. The Brunson boys are very low key. You know, they don't like to make a big.
Jacqueline Foley
But they're not exclusive. I didn't ask him how the dynamics were, like, if he felt as the only one who wasn't a Brunson, because I asked him. I was like, by the way, he was going to Benson. He was like, the Brunson boys.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. And it was literally the four of them.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. So maybe it was an honorary Brunson boy for the evening.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
But he's also a Mavericks fan boy. But last night, he was a Nick.
Jackson Claude
Fan, and it was a great game. The Knicks won. The city was alive. Every celebrity on the planet was at the Knicks game. I was like, honestly, except for us, I never, up until this point, every time me and Ben watch together, I'm like, seriously, so happy for the people there. I'm like, I'm so happy to be in my bed. I have no qualms. But last night, I was like, I should be there. Well, sitting with your arm around me.
Jacqueline Foley
Because of story number two.
Jackson Claude
Because of story number two, obviously, Kylie and Timothy. But, like, Kendall was there. Like, literally every celebrity on the planet. Like, we think we're New York socialites. Well, I do. And I'm not. At the Knicks game. No.
Jacqueline Foley
And I don't think anyone invited us to their suite. But we also didn't check.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. But also, like, it doesn't matter. Like, I should have been there in some way.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
I'm kind of like a New York. Like, seriously, a staple of New York City.
Jacqueline Foley
And you know who else we should have reached out to? Like, game time.
Jackson Claude
Totally.
Jacqueline Foley
You know, like, game time up. Maybe that's sponsors.
Jackson Claude
I know. We're just so lazy. There's another game. There's another game this week. Oh, yes, you're right.
Jacqueline Foley
I think I'll go to Boston.
Jackson Claude
Okay. Vibrato.
Jacqueline Foley
Get out of California where nobody knows my name. Oh, yeah.
Jackson Claude
I think I'll go to Boston. Yesterday you were there.
Jacqueline Foley
Kylie, Timothy will go to Boston.
Jackson Claude
No.
Jacqueline Foley
Do you think Margot Washray will go to Boston? Because she loves an impromptu trip to Boston.
Jackson Claude
So you weren't there last night because me, Ben and Zach were like, with your boys while you mommy was working. He was working, doing your interview and oh my God, we were being so funny. So, like, when you, like, Zach was leaving with the boys, we had like a little sing session. You know, Zach is like very musical and Ben loves like old timey, like nostalgic songs. So we did like an actual like three man band interpretation of out of the Box. You know, like that song so Long Farewell.
Jacqueline Foley
The boys were loving from the Sound of Music. It's so long farewell.
Jackson Claude
No, no, no. You're seriously a grandma. Like, I can't with you. No. Out of the Box, like the Disney Channel. Like, like short program. It was. You don't know this. So long farewell to you my friend the time has come until we meet again and then like, it's the guy. It's a guy and a gal and the guy like, plays the drums and it's like very. It's like children's entertainment. You don't know it?
Jacqueline Foley
No. It does sound familiar. Zach knew it.
Jackson Claude
Of course. Every person our age knows it. I can't believe you're not familiar. And we did like a real, like, everybody had a part, you know, like Ben was on the drums, Zach was doing like, you know, it was so funny. I was cracking up. And I'm telling you, the boys loved it. So if they asked for out of the Box song, that's what they're talking about.
Jacqueline Foley
Okay. Good to know. Every song has a code name.
Jackson Claude
Yeah, right. And they were like staring at us. They, like, wanted to leave so bad. And we were standing by the door and we're like, out of the box.
Jacqueline Foley
I'm sure they didn't want to leave. I'm sure they had a great time at cod.
Jackson Claude
We had a big night at Coer. We made burgers. We had so much fun. We did bath time. Oh, my God. Being on my knees at the bath time, I was not okay.
Jacqueline Foley
What you think?
Jackson Claude
No, no. Bath time is like a better idea in theory.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. No, Zach, like, at home. That's Zach's responsibility.
Jackson Claude
It's not a pregnant person's job.
Jacqueline Foley
Whenever it falls to me, like, it's not my favorite one.
Jackson Claude
No. I think I'll be the type of parent with their children. Is that gross? Like, no.
Jacqueline Foley
But, like, eventually they do get too big and they're so dirty. Like, but when they're baby. Yeah, but in the baby stage, like, that's so nice.
Jackson Claude
Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
But eventually, like, it's just not once in a while, actually, it's a nice treat. But for every day, it's not the vibe.
Jackson Claude
You need a better system.
Jacqueline Foley
I think it's a lot of times the husband's job because it's very physical.
Jackson Claude
It's back. Right.
Jacqueline Foley
And that works for us.
Jackson Claude
Like when I was so sad to see them go, obviously, like, when Zach left, I was devastated. When I tell you I didn't get out of bed for five hours. I was not okay.
Jacqueline Foley
No. They'll take everything out of you.
Jackson Claude
Everything.
Jacqueline Foley
It's so crazy. They have so much energy.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. It's kind of exhausting.
Jacqueline Foley
I know, but you work your way up to it.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. Right, Right.
Jacqueline Foley
Like, my tolerance is high now because it's like every day was a little bit more. A little bit more for the last few years. But you can't just, like, wake up one day and have, like, two toddlers running around.
Jackson Claude
Thousand percent. We do have, like, a lot to do today. It's Tuesday. There are lots of stories, and there's dear toasters. They are so crazy.
Jacqueline Foley
Okay.
Jackson Claude
And one of them is about us. I love when this happens. Cool. Like, the toast either helping or, like, hurting someone's life and, like, how to navigate that.
Jacqueline Foley
Okay, well, let's get into it, shall we? So now, without further ado, it is time for the Fast 5 stories that you do need to know.
Jackson Claude
And the Fast 5 stories that you need to know are brought to you by Hulu and the Secret Lives of Morvan Wives. So the wait for more episodes of the Secret lives of Mormon wives is almost over. It's coming back to Hulu with an all new season on May 15, which is literally two days away. We finally get to find out what's going on with our favorite saints and sinners. Come ye saints and come ye sinners. The commercials have been like, a really guessing. You know what he's saying in that? Hallelujah. That's what he's saying. Okay, so Taylor and Dakota, are they still together? Jen and Zach, have they worked through, like, their major issues. There's a lot of drama that's going on with Demi and Jesse. It's happening, like, actively on social media now too. So it's a tangled web of jealousy, X's and drama. We cannot wait to binge watch. It's gonna be pure insanity. It was actually Jackie and I, one of our top five shows. From the year 2024. It's such a good show. They're just like. They're good reality stars.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
And there's so much that goes on. It's not that hard. So much that goes on outside on social media, too. So once you're done with it, you can, like, follow them.
Jacqueline Foley
It's like a whole world. And it keeps you updated even when the show isn't on. And then when it comes back for season two, you're just so excited. Like we are. And maybe we should watch in my theater.
Jackson Claude
Yes. And I do hope that this season answers the question, like, finally we'll put it to bed. Like, will mom talk survive this?
Jacqueline Foley
I think at this point, it's a safe bet.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. They're kind of like a cockroach. Like, they could survive anything.
Jacqueline Foley
And with the show at stake, like, right. Mom Talk will.
Jackson Claude
Don't miss the new season of the Secret lives of Mormon wives coming to Hulu on May 15th. Today's episode is also brought to you by True Fru. Jackie and I are like, we've been true for ambassadors before. We were being paid to be true for ambassadors. We are obsessed. It is the most delicious, sweet treat on the planet. And as of May 4, Target now has all the true food flavors in the freezer aisle. So as you know, the girlies in the true fruit office are huge toasters and they wanted us to tell you that true food is now available in all their flavors at Target. Sometimes, like, you go to a grocery store and they have the one that you like or the one maybe like not your number one fave, and it's hard to find all the flavors. Well, starting this month, all the true food flavors will be available in the Target freezer aisle. So they get asked all the time, like, where to find specific flavors. This is really perfect for all the true fruit stands and the target stands. If you haven't tried true food but you shop at Target all the time, like, head over to the freezer aisle. Your life will seriously never be the same. And if you're obsessed with true fruit and you never know where to get to the flavors, now you can get them at Target. And if you don't know what true fruit is, their take, perfectly ripe fruit they coated in insanely delicious dark and milk chocolate. And then they flash freeze it to lock in all the goodness. There's no artificial flavors, no weird stuff, just real fruit. It's a snack that I discovered when I was being really healthy. And it's one that obviously now I'm like not prioritizing, you know, the calorie deficit. And I still eat it. It's like a good snack no matter what era of like diet you're in. Perfect post dinner treat, perfect midday pick me up. You can find all the flavors of Tru in Target at the freezer aisle and actually have to thank Ms. Jacqueline Foley. Added to the list of things I you know, for I don't like sometimes to believe fruit belongs in dessert and true fruit is out here negating that belief for me. And Jackie was the one who introduced me to it. She keeps the raspberries at her house. Raspberry's my favorite. 100% same. Today's episode is also brought to you by Skylight say goodbye to sticky notes and calendar confusion with Skylight the Skylight Calendar is here to help your family stay organized. Jacqueline Foley
It's really true. And then no one can say, oh, I didn't see that on the calendar.
Jackson Claude
Well, you didn't look.
Jacqueline Foley
And the calendar couldn't be bigger.
Jackson Claude
Right?
Jacqueline Foley
Color coded. Per child. Our first story. That was gonna be our second story, but our first story because I know we really want to talk about it, which is the Knicks game last night. Kylie Jenner and Timothy cozy up at the Knicks game after their first red carpet debut. So we know Timothy is a big Knicks fan. They played at MSG last night. So his lady love, Kylie, supported him courtside.
Jackson Claude
And with Kendall weekend, I was shocked to see Kendall. And there we. There's so much to discuss. But one of the connections we really haven't spoken about is the Jordan woods of it all. So I've told you guys, and I know everybody's like, dirty, broken record. And I'm so glad I've said it.
Jacqueline Foley
So many times, because sometimes you've been paying attention. And none of this was surprising to.
Jackson Claude
You when you saw Jordan Woods's man is a really good Knicks player. His name is Carl Anthony Towns. He had a great game last night, and Jordan's been at every game. She's so waggalicious. She, like, wears such cute outfits. She sits courtside even though, like, a lot of the wags don't. And she was sitting in the same row as Kylie, not with Kylie, but, like, probably, like, five or six seats down. And they were, like, interacting with one another. But it was probably just, like, such a fun night for Kylie.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, for sure.
Jackson Claude
Because they won. Her man was so happy. She's with her man. She's with her sister. And then look, her besties there. Her bestie's man is having a good day.
Jacqueline Foley
Swift.
Jackson Claude
Yes.
Jacqueline Foley
Like, except not on the court.
Jackson Claude
It's giving girl gang.
Jacqueline Foley
Except not to nitpick.
Jackson Claude
Don't Nick pick.
Jacqueline Foley
Why was Timothy sitting in between Kylie and Kendall?
Jackson Claude
That's really interesting.
Jacqueline Foley
Isn't that weird?
Jackson Claude
So perhaps Kylie has a side. And she knew she'd be looking at Timothy all night. And, like, the pictures and she. And she wanted her left side to be her dominant side because, let me tell you, those photos, she looked insanely gorgeous.
Jacqueline Foley
Well, yeah, when you're that insanely gorgeous, like, I really don't think you have to, like, fear aside, everyone has their thing. But even on the red carpet, she was on the other side of him. And she did want to be looking to her right then. She could have sat in the Middle Timothy here, Kylie Kendall there. Yeah, I just think that's like a little random. Like if I went to the game with you and Ben, I want to sit next to my sister.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, they have been together for a long time, so like they'll probably knows Timmy pretty well. It's, it's an interesting point, but also maybe it had to do with like the view of the game and no one else. Oh, no one else was next to Kylie. Technically, Kylie's seat was the best because, like she's on the aisle, so there's only one person next to her next to the hoop. Right. Those courtside seats are full fucking tiny. Like you're literally asses on top of asses. So for Kylie to only be sitting next to one person, it's the best seat.
Jacqueline Foley
Because she has the biggest butt, you mean?
Jackson Claude
Well, no, just because, like, it's uncomfortable.
Jacqueline Foley
I'm kidding. Who knows?
Jackson Claude
It's an interesting point you make, but.
Jacqueline Foley
Not to Nick pick.
Jackson Claude
But also not to nitpick either.
Jacqueline Foley
They're talking behind his back. Like it's just not conducive.
Jackson Claude
Kylie definitely wanted to, wanted to sit on the aisle. Like some like me and Ben fight over the aisle. The aisle. Besties ticket.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, I guess. I don't know. It's just really inconvenient.
Jackson Claude
Also, I found it interesting because like so many celebrities were at this game that there are only so many courtside seats. Right. And then there are like people who actually pay, like regular people who are just rich who have courtside. Right. So there are only so many seats to go around. Like Kylie's weren't amazing. She was behind the basket, which is not. It is courtside.
Jacqueline Foley
Like that 50 yard line.
Jackson Claude
Right. Your feet are on the wood. It's courtside. But like when you think courtside, you think the sides not behind the basket. So thought it was interesting that they didn't have like the best seats, but like the OGs like Spike Lee, Tracy Morgan, like they get. Mariska Hargitay has been at like every single game and she also gets booted to behind the, the basket.
Jacqueline Foley
But still it's, it's, it's good. It's fine. I'm just glad that they were able to procure courtside seats considering they are so desirable.
Jackson Claude
Yes. And four nonetheless.
Jacqueline Foley
And I, I don't know when they made the decision to go. Who was the fourth?
Jackson Claude
Kendall brought a friend. Oh. That maybe also impacted the arrangements.
Jacqueline Foley
Oh, I see.
Jackson Claude
So long.
Jacqueline Foley
I see. They made it really seem like they were a trio.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. No, they totally cut the other guy out. But there was another person there. I'm cracking up.
Jacqueline Foley
It was like the trio arrived.
Jackson Claude
Right. But they did arrive separately.
Jacqueline Foley
Well, Kendall and. I mean, Kylie and Timothy first.
Jackson Claude
And everyone saw that video. And then I saw the video of Kendall. I'm like, oh, maybe she's there with someone else. Like, I didn't think that they were going together. Kylie and Kendall, like, they don't do a lot publicly together.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, well, you know, that's like, Kendall hates that.
Jackson Claude
Right. Because Kylie's ashamed of her.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. That, like, Kylie doesn't hang out with her more.
Jackson Claude
Sounds like Kendall is a chip. She should come on the toes and talk about it.
Jacqueline Foley
For sure.
Jackson Claude
Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
So, fun night in New York.
Jackson Claude
I love when things happen in New York. Like, it's so fun.
Jacqueline Foley
That means probably that Kylie's here still. Yeah.
Jackson Claude
Yeah, probably. Kylie doesn't say one place for long, though.
Jacqueline Foley
No, but I think she has a place here.
Jackson Claude
Do you think that. That. Well, Timothy definitely does.
Jacqueline Foley
I think she does. I think that's, like. We learned that a while ago.
Jackson Claude
Do you think they went from the David Awards in Rome straight to New York? I think they've been back to la.
Jacqueline Foley
No, because I saw another headline of her in the ocean. She had a Mother's Day getaway.
Jackson Claude
Maybe they went to Florida.
Jacqueline Foley
I don't know where they went. Maybe, like, Turks and Caicos. They, like, love it here. Let's see what they went on. A tropical getaway.
Jackson Claude
Oh, to be so.
Jacqueline Foley
In Turks and Caicos.
Jackson Claude
Good guess. To be so wealthy, beautiful, and young. Like, you would almost hate her, like, if she wasn't so fabulous, you know?
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, well, she's doing.
Jackson Claude
She's her own plate. She's doing sick.
Jacqueline Foley
Why didn't these pictures get more.
Jackson Claude
Well, that's the other thing that I was.
Jacqueline Foley
Because then the next game, I'm sure if the Knicks didn't happen, then, like, this would get more.
Jackson Claude
Kylie looked so insane last night. Like, not even in, like, a dramatic way. She looks super glamor. She was just wearing, like, a black tank top and jeans and. And her hair was down. She looked like such a bombshell. And it was actually really nice to see someone who's, like, done having kids looking the best they've looked yet, you know, it's inspiring. I know she's actually 17, so. But, like, she's had her kids, you know?
Jacqueline Foley
Like, she's not done.
Jackson Claude
She.
Jacqueline Foley
Don't say that, Claudia.
Jackson Claude
But I'm saying you don't, like, envision that you're gonna look the best you've ever looked when. After you've had one or two kids. Well, that's the plan for me as well. Like, I don't think I've ever seen Kylie look better.
Jacqueline Foley
I agree. And she's been looking this.
Jackson Claude
And she's so young. So, like, we can't compare because, like, she had kids at, like, what, 21. But still, it was inspiring nonetheless.
Jacqueline Foley
But she's not done. Don't say that. I didn't say looking for Kimmy.
Jackson Claude
I didn't say done. But, like, she's like, if it's possible that, like, these are all the kids that she.
Jacqueline Foley
But she said a lot of times she wants a really big family with Timothy Chalamet.
Jackson Claude
It's possible.
Jacqueline Foley
And she wants to have Timothy's babies. That's a direct quote.
Jackson Claude
No, I'm not.
Jacqueline Foley
And I'm sure she's just, like, soaking up all this awesomeness, like, before she does fall pregnant with Timothy's baby.
Jackson Claude
I wonder if she, like, likes all the attention. She's so weird with, like, fame and. And her own celebrity and her and Timothy, like, people are obsessed with it. And I think to a point where they weren't with her and her previous relationships, like Travis and Tyga. I wonder how she feels about the public perception because she does have a very complicated relationship with, like, people talking about her. She, like, loves to be famous, but hates it.
Jacqueline Foley
I think in the beginning it was probably harder. I think people talked more about her in the beginning. And now, like, everyone's been silent. So it's probably fun today. But I think, like, the last year or two years were harder. People probably saying, like, mean stuff that I would never say or even think, but I could imagine what a mean person would say about this.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. I can't even imagine now.
Jacqueline Foley
They've almost.
Jackson Claude
I'm not mean.
Jacqueline Foley
The power of Timothy's love has silenced them.
Jackson Claude
Like, are they gonna get married?
Jacqueline Foley
No, they're gonna have babies.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. Kylie's not. She's not traditional like that. Yeah. And she's too wealthy.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
I don't think she has great aspirations for, like, you know, a big fairy tale white wedding. That's so not her.
Jacqueline Foley
It's just too complicated.
Jackson Claude
Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
Watch. They're married anyways. Really cute.
Jackson Claude
No, they don't. The only thing is, they don't act like a married couple. Like, every time you say they've been together for two years, it shocks me because they really act like a couple in high. Yeah. Like, they like each other so much. They're, like, always on top of each other. And it's like married people don't act like that.
Jacqueline Foley
And they've actually been spotted out at so many things like that are hours long. Things where we never got one miserable looking. Not one, like.
Jackson Claude
Well, not one Wimbledon. Bradley Cooper. Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
Shocking.
Jackson Claude
Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
Are you ready for our next story?
Jackson Claude
It's not gonna last. What?
Jacqueline Foley
The relationship.
Jackson Claude
Because they're not miserable enough.
Jacqueline Foley
Maybe not yet.
Jackson Claude
It.
Jacqueline Foley
You know.
Jackson Claude
I'm ready for our next story. Yes. I just want to warn you. It seems like you have some lipstick on the back of your iPad, and if you put the iPad on your white pants, it's going to transfer.
Jacqueline Foley
Been here since my last New York trip.
Jackson Claude
Oh, so it's not going to transfer on your pants.
Jacqueline Foley
No, it's like it's.
Jackson Claude
It lives there now.
Jacqueline Foley
Part of the great. I could probably use a. A certain type of wipe and get it off like a magic eraser.
Jackson Claude
But I'm just looking out for your pants.
Jacqueline Foley
Thank you to my children.
Jackson Claude
We have a business meeting. So, like, you can't show up with, like, crap on your pants.
Jacqueline Foley
No, no. This has been here for two months now, so I don't think today's the day it's going to choose to. Come on.
Jackson Claude
Afraid.
Jacqueline Foley
Our next story. Kim Kardashian testifies she thought she'd be raped during her Paris robbery and fears that her sister Courtney would find her shot dead. So Kim took the stand to testify nearly nine years after she was robbed of millions of dollars of jewelry in Paris. We had reported that the trial was starting, and now Kim testified in court on Monday that she feared she would be raped and fatally shot during the burglary. She said, he grabs my legs and pulls me. I'm naked and my everything is exposed. I was sure that I was going to be raped. I. I absolutely thought I was going to die. She said when she replied to the judge's question about whether she feared for her life.
Jackson Claude
To me, every time we talk about this robbery, it's such an indicator of how quickly time moves. Because you saying this was nine years ago. Like, I remember where I was when I found out, you know, and were we not doing the toast during this robbery? I guess, like podcasting for eight years.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. So then. No.
Jackson Claude
Damn.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
By the way, and I know they say, like, the wheels of justice, Terence, like, this is unacceptable.
Jacqueline Foley
This is incredibly slow. But I think it took a while to, like, track everyone down. There were a lot of gang people involved. So she showed up at the courthouse, like, looking seriously insane. Like, best she's ever Looked like Audrey.
Jackson Claude
Hepburn hair, big diamond necklace, which obviously was some sort of metaphor. Chris was there supporting, wearing, like, a fuck ass. Bob, everybody looked great. Kim looked amazing. It's one of my favorite Kim looks. And is this, like a new. Is this her new stylist at work? Because honestly, I like what I'm seeing.
Jacqueline Foley
I like what I'm seeing too. But I do think, like, courthouse glam has. Is a very specific lane, and it's when done right, like, it always looks good.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. No, the bodysuit was bodysuiting, the necklace was sick.
Jacqueline Foley
The hair, but that's still Chris, like. And the glam and the sunglasses. I'm not gonna say like, this, like, the stylist, like, did well on this.
Jackson Claude
But it bodes well for their face.
Jacqueline Foley
Like an easy layup, an easy ask. Yeah. But I really do think that she looks great. I'm sure this is, like, really crazy for her. And she's putting on a very brave face, like, acting like I don't give a fudge and here's all my diamonds again.
Jackson Claude
I do feel like she's healed from it. Like, I think it took her a really long time, and I think if had this trial been, like, years ago, it would have been traumatizing. And now I feel like it's like she feels powerful in. In speaking against it. Like, because there was a period of time, like, she was asked about it, like, years later, the David Letterman thing, and she still cries when she talks about it. Of course. It's so traumatizing. She's like, a very tough person. And she says calmness is her superpower. So I think now she is fully healed from it.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, probably.
Jackson Claude
I don't think this is re. Traumatizing her.
Jacqueline Foley
No. But I think it probably manifests itself. Like we saw in the season how she's almost, like, numb to life.
Jackson Claude
Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
Because of her calmness. Like, it doesn't manifest herself in her crying all the time about it and, like, being afraid. But it does show up and it has, like, affected her long term.
Jackson Claude
I like. Like, that's like. Like every person's worst nightmare.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
It's so crazy.
Jacqueline Foley
It's so crazy.
Jackson Claude
What was his name? Pascal.
Jacqueline Foley
That was the Bodyguard at the time.
Jackson Claude
There was so much drama around that. Like.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, yeah.
Jackson Claude
You have to be there for the Pascal of it all.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. Very, very crazy.
Jackson Claude
And Harouche, right?
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. Her stylist.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. It was like, in the apartment building.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. Was there with her.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. And Courtney and Kendall were at the club. We're at the club with Pascal. Yeah, she just went back and the concierge, of course.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
Innocent victim in all of this. Innocent bystander, so they say. Oh, you think he was a conspirator?
Jacqueline Foley
I don't know anything about it. Like, seriously. Seriously. I don't know. So the trial is ongoing, and I look forward to justice being served. Speaking of some trial news, the Diddy trial is going on in New York right now.
Jackson Claude
It's a lot of, like, big trials, and I feel like the Diddy one's kind of, like, slipping. Everyone's talking about Karen Reed.
Jacqueline Foley
I'm seeing a lot of Diddy. I've seen this headline all day yesterday. So a lot of testimony came out yesterday. A lot of, like, gruesome details from witnesses. And one thing that there's no cameras.
Jackson Claude
That's why, like, I think there's a. Like, people tune into the Karen retrial every day. It's in Massachusetts, and I guess the law is that you can have cameras there. So Court TV, you know, law and order, YouTube.
Jacqueline Foley
I hope you feel good knowing that. Like, I have not seen anything about the Karen retrial. I have seen a lot of things about the. Did he try?
Jackson Claude
Good. I do wish we could watch it. Like, I think that always gets more people.
Jacqueline Foley
His family was there. One of his daughters had to, like, walk out at a certain point because it was, like, too graphic.
Jackson Claude
Yikes.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. So one allegation is that he allegedly forced an escort to perform a disgusting act on Cassie Ventura as she choked. And so that was. Act Was peeing in her mouth. This is just one of the.
Jackson Claude
Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I didn't see that.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, it's just really. And then I also saw that to testify, maybe even today.
Jackson Claude
So crazy.
Jacqueline Foley
Yes.
Jackson Claude
If this was being filmed. Oh, my God.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
And there. There is a girl on Tick Tock who I follow, who is, like, a court reporter or not a court reporter. Something. So she's in the court. Help. What are words?
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, sure.
Jackson Claude
In the room. Yeah. Like the courtroom facility. Yeah, courtroom. She's there, and then she, like, comes in, like, you know, reiterates what she saw, and, like, that's the closest we get. But, like. Like, it's not being televised is first of all the best thing to ever happen to Diddy. Yeah. Because it's. It's not blowing up as much as, you know, Amber Heard versus Johnny Depp, where everybody was tuning in every day. Lunchtime. Let's go.
Jacqueline Foley
That's true.
Jackson Claude
That's disgusting. I feel, like, actually sick.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. So the assistant U S attorney told the 12 person jury that cat Cassie first agreed to participate in his now infamous freak offs to make him happy. But the romps allegedly became violent over time with him beating his then girlfriend if she left earlier, took too long in the bathroom. During one particular incident, he told a prostitute to urinate in her mouth, which led to her feeling like she was choking, the prosecutor claimed.
Jackson Claude
However, I can't even begin to explain what is so up about having a prostitute pee in your mouth. Like the obvious P is gross. Right? Where has this prostitute been? Where did she come from? I seriously, I'm choking and it really makes you think. Because who can even come up with something so disgusting? It's like if I was having a freaky party and I wanted the freakiest thing I could think of, never in my life would I think to hire a prostitute to have her pee in the mouth of my girlfriend. Like, no. And it's disgusting.
Jacqueline Foley
One small anecdote from like years of this. And it's not like he's. He's being like accused of making someone pee in someone's mouth. Like, this is it.
Jackson Claude
This is just an anecdote.
Jacqueline Foley
Just like a crumb.
Jackson Claude
It's so disgusting.
Jacqueline Foley
It's so disgusting. The details are really, really graphic from the trial. I think everyone expected that they would be when it to comes, like, you know what?
Jackson Claude
I actually feel like?
Jacqueline Foley
Sex trafficking. No.
Jackson Claude
And it's like, I'm waiting. I'm having like Jeffrey Epstein ptsd where like Jeffrey Epson got arrested and we were all like, okay, we are finally gonna find out like, who all the pedophiles in Hollywood are. And it never happened.
Jacqueline Foley
But his defense team is arguing that like, yes, he has a bad temper and a history of violence, but they argued that he's simply not guilty of sex trafficking, that domestic violence is not sex trafficking because that's what he's on the stand for.
Jackson Claude
So. Right, like having a prostitute pee in your girlfriend's mouth, is that sex? Human trafficking? Sex trafficking?
Jacqueline Foley
No, no, that would have been like domestic violence.
Jackson Claude
Right.
Jacqueline Foley
Sexual assault.
Jackson Claude
And you're telling me there's not a charge for domestic violence? Or maybe the statute of limitations is run out.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. Because then that would be like Cassie v. Right. Diddy.
Jackson Claude
And this is like the state v. Diddy.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. For sex trafficking.
Jackson Claude
Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
So but all of this, like, we'll get like, I'm sure there's the. We'll get to the trafficking.
Jackson Claude
Right, Right. We're just like setting the scene.
Jacqueline Foley
Right, Right. If there is alleged trafficking, just.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. If there Is which. Which there is.
Jacqueline Foley
Are you ready for our fourth story?
Jackson Claude
The fourth story, I am.
Jacqueline Foley
Morgan Wallen reveals the real reason behind his abrupt SNL exit. And it's not titillating whatsoever.
Jackson Claude
No, not even close.
Jacqueline Foley
Morgan Mullen has broken his silence on why he made his abrupt exit out of the SNL Get Me to God's Country. When he went on Sunday Conversation with host Caleb Presley, and he asked him, seriously, snl, did they make you mad? He said, no, no, I was just ready to go home.
Jackson Claude
Okay. The show itself, if you guys haven't seen, it's. It's formerly a barstool show. I believe that Caleb actually recently left. Barstool. Oh, no. Something like that. They, like, interview. The interview style is, like, very dry, satirical. It's not like, hard hitting. No one ever really, like, shares a truth.
Jacqueline Foley
It's like parody almost.
Jackson Claude
It's like. It's comedy.
Jacqueline Foley
It's like Between Two Ferns.
Jackson Claude
Yes, so exactly. That's the perfect comparison. So it's entirely possible that there's like, a whole other story about Get Me to God's country, but this is the first time Morgan's even, like, remotely addressing.
Jacqueline Foley
And he said, ready to go home? He said, I'd been there the time all. All week.
Jackson Claude
Right.
Jacqueline Foley
And that does, to me, feel. Answer the question of Get Me to God's Country. I feel like he wasn't calling SNL cast members a bunch of godless heathens. He was just, like, sick of New York. Okay. Which I could understand. Like, when I'm done here, Get Me to God's Country.
Jackson Claude
How does that answer the walk off?
Jacqueline Foley
I agree.
Jackson Claude
The what? To me, the Instagram story was only curious because it preceded. Or what's opposite of preceded? Antecedent. The walk off. The walk off was what, like, led people to be like, what's going on? Something's. He's mad.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
And then we all flocked to his Instagram and there was something there, and he was flock.
Jacqueline Foley
Flocking God's Country, New York.
Jackson Claude
So I'm not convinced.
Jacqueline Foley
Honestly, I really don't think there's anything beyond, like, the obvious and then them.
Jackson Claude
Sending, like, Keenan on Good Day New York. No, I'm telling you, there was something there.
Jacqueline Foley
No, I think it's like, was nothing bigger than them being all different people. He probably never, like, felt in play like that that was his place. Right.
Jackson Claude
And. Or his people.
Jacqueline Foley
And he did his job and he left. And a lot of them had clowned on him over the years in the COVID and whatever. So he did his job. He left. No blow up happened. It's just like we're different.
Jackson Claude
I guess people really see like how detrimental it was. Like if Morgan Wallen ever performs on SNL again because everybody, even Lauren, I think everyone's maintaining, like we're all good.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
And if you are, like the next time he has an album coming out, like he will do SNL as a part of his promo tour and if he does, then I'll, then I will buy this. But if he doesn't, and I don't think that he will, nor do I think that he should, it's not a good place for him.
Jacqueline Foley
I think that he will and I think that he should.
Jackson Claude
Wow.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. About that.
Jackson Claude
I think that he won't and he shouldn't. But we'll find out like the next time there's a 50 song album coming out. Right.
Jacqueline Foley
And we haven't even gotten this 50 song out.
Jackson Claude
Right. No, this is like a, a toast kind of I guess Olivia Rodrigo one hit wonder thing. We'll have to check back in like.
Jacqueline Foley
Seriously in two years and keeping up with sports.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. Edits the list.
Jacqueline Foley

Jackson Claude
No, all the ingredients are like pre packaged with the Taylor Farms chop salad kits. They're pre washed, like everything is done for you. It's seriously, like could not be easier. Highly recommend.

You're welcome. Turtle fillet.
Jackson Claude
We'll always have Foley Beach. Jackie made me listen to Sam Hunt, and then I've been obsessed with this song Delta. What's on that? No matter what, never. 23.
Jacqueline Foley
23.
Jackson Claude
Wait, 22. I'll never be 23.
Jacqueline Foley
Anyone but you.
Jackson Claude
And there's a line in it. We'll always have Foley Beach. Like, it's extremely Jacqueline. Fully coated.
Jacqueline Foley
We need to go to Foley beach and get at a resort pass.
Jackson Claude
What the hell is Foley Beach? I feel like. I'm sure it's like, North Carolina.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, yeah. No, I'm sure it's like. Like, in that area. Foley.
Jackson Claude
It's F, O, L, E, Y. I believe South Carolina said it in the song. South Carolina.
Jacqueline Foley
Oh, it's called, but it's spelled F O, L, L, Y. L, Y.
Jackson Claude
Folly Beach. And he's just, like, being quirky with his pronunciations. That's so Sam.
Jacqueline Foley
Hold on, let me go to the lyrics. Let's sort this out.
Jackson Claude
I don't mean to bother you, but I couldn't just walk by.
Jacqueline Foley
I'm obsessed.
Jackson Claude
Like, says, I think Sam Follet Beach.
Jacqueline Foley
F, O, L, L, Y. I think.
Jackson Claude
That Sam Hunt and I got off on the wrong foot because he insisted on, like, breaking into the music industry with, like, this talk to, text type of singing style. Like, I don't mean to bother you.
Jacqueline Foley
But I couldn't just walk by.
Jackson Claude
And then, like, when he starts singing, I'm like, okay, yes.
Jacqueline Foley
Say hi.
Jackson Claude
I don't know your name. Everybody in here knows your name. And it's like, are you rapping? Are you singing? Like, can you stop?
Jacqueline Foley
But that was the magic of Sandheim. And do you notice that. That a lot of country stars do that now?
Jackson Claude
Not a lot, but there's a huge song, the Ella Langley Riley Green one, where they're like, talk to texting, and.
Jacqueline Foley
It'S okay with it.
Jackson Claude
It's a huge moment for Sam Hunt. No, actually, like, I feel uncomfortable when I see people performing, like, the. The sort of. It's not rap. It's like talking song, sing song. It's weird.
Jacqueline Foley
Well, you're in your Sam Hunt era. You can try and fight it. You can talk, but I'm not fighting that. It.
Jackson Claude
I'm not gonna get. I'm letting you know. Like, I think the reason I've been so hesitant is because that's how he entered the music sphere, by being like.
Jacqueline Foley
I know, but the songs were killer.
Jackson Claude
They were. They were.
Jacqueline Foley
I wanna steal your freedom.
Jackson Claude
I mean, that album, Montalvo, like, yeah, Monticello, Monte Li.
Jacqueline Foley
It was a moment in time.
Jackson Claude
Had to be there.
Jacqueline Foley
Would you want to go to a Sam Hunt concert? Like, say he was playing?
Jackson Claude
I would.
Jacqueline Foley
I would like PlayStation Theater tonight. Not tonight. No, no, sorry.
Jackson Claude
We're tired.
Jacqueline Foley
We're out of commission. We have a lunch meeting.
Jackson Claude
I.
Jacqueline Foley
But, like, this year in general.
Jackson Claude
Okay. Like, circumstances, not with standing. Like, yes, I would like to see Sam Hunt in concert. I think, like a nice outdoor venue with, like, a margarita. As long as I'm not pregnant.
Jacqueline Foley
Like pnc.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. Like an amphitheater. I could.
Jacqueline Foley
I saw him at PNC once.
Jackson Claude
I don't think, though, that, like, I could, like, look him in the eyes, you know?
Jacqueline Foley
You don't want to go backstage?
Jackson Claude
No, no, please don't invite me. Like, I. I actually can. I feel weird.
Jacqueline Foley
That's fair.
Jackson Claude
Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
Don't worry. They're not inviting us.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
Our fifth and final story.
Jackson Claude
It's 11:11. By the way, make a wish. I wish, like, happiness for happiness like this forever.
Jacqueline Foley
I've made my wish.
Jackson Claude
Thank you.
Jacqueline Foley
My wish for you is that this life becomes all that you wanted to.
Jackson Claude
Is the final story.
Jacqueline Foley
More musical news.
Jackson Claude
Oh, I think this will just have to sing.
Jacqueline Foley
Wicked live musical special starring Ariana Grande, said the Arrivio, set for this fall on Ambassador NBC. A live musical TV special featuring Wicked movie star Cynthia and Ari singing songs from the Universal Pictures film is set to air on NBC this fall. The Wicked Special event will take place at the Peacock Theater in LA ahead of the November 21st release of the sequel film, Wicked for Good. The musical special will be broadcast live on NBC and streamed the next day on Peacock.
Jackson Claude
So it's around the same time as the second part of the movie is being released. Yeah, I feel like they need to feed us, like, a little bit sooner because, like, we're gonna get nothing for a whole year. And then we get, like, this big TV special and movie special in the same month.
Jacqueline Foley
I think we need nothing for a whole year. They can't. Can't keep at this pace for the rest of the year. Like, we definitely take off. Summer ramp back up in the fall. It's okay. We haven't forgotten about you, and we know it's coming. And Wicked Mania was so big and so fantastic that we'll be back.
Jackson Claude
And I just want to say I love this. Last time they did a televised Wicked special, I still listened to the Ariana Grande version of the wizard and I. And I loved it. Even though there was, like, a lot of performances and only the Ariana Grande. One stuck with me. Like Idina Menzel. Like, they kind of all stunk it up. So I need the programming to.
Jacqueline Foley
I think it will be good.
Jackson Claude
I think it'll be good, too. I love Wicked. Like, I love to hear people sing Wicked, especially people who are really good singers.
Jacqueline Foley
Cindy and Ari. I'm down, like, another duet.
Jackson Claude
Right.
Jacqueline Foley
Par. Deliciousness.
Jackson Claude
I mean, think about how everybody, like, was so gooped and gagged over the Oscars.
Jacqueline Foley
Like, it'll be like that for an hour.
Jackson Claude
For an hour. That's fun.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. I think that's a really good idea.
Jackson Claude
Me, too.
Jacqueline Foley
From all teams. NBC loves a live musical special, so I know they're creaming their pants.
Jackson Claude
And it's been a while since Annie Live. That was the last one. One?
Jacqueline Foley
Was it the last. I don't think it was.
Jackson Claude
It 1000% was. Because we follow every live performance from casting all the way up until recording.
Jacqueline Foley
True.
Jackson Claude
And the last one we were gooped and gagged over was Annie Live. I know you loved it so much so they. I don't know if that department of, like, I don't know if that type of production is successful for NBC. I don't know if they make a lot of money from it. I feel like. No, because they would have done one. It's been, like, I want to say, two or three years since Annie Live.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, it has been. I'm trying to see, like, maybe that whole, like, team at NBC like, got laid off, and now they're not doing those anymore. It's impossible to search. Like, what were the lives? Whatever is live on NBC.
Jackson Claude
What other plays do you feel like need to be done live?
Jacqueline Foley
They've done such good ones.
Jackson Claude
Right? They've done Peter Pan, Hairspray, Hairspray, the Wiz music. No, they didn't do Rent.
Jacqueline Foley
They did.
Jackson Claude
They did. Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
Vanessa Hudgens.
Jackson Claude
That's what I was thinking.
Jacqueline Foley
Okay.
Jackson Claude
Greece. Vanessa Hudgens was Greece, too. Yeah. She also was Rent.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, I believe so. She's a perfect person.
Jackson Claude
Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
What other, like, Sound of Music, honestly.
Jackson Claude
Did they do Beauty and the Beast live?
Jacqueline Foley
No, no, but they did something they.
Jackson Claude
Threw with her and Josh Groban.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, we watched it.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. The kids loved it. Michael, Olivia and Michaela.
Jacqueline Foley
It was like an anniversary special.
Jackson Claude
Something doesn't count. It wasn't Life. Shania Twain was Mrs. Potts, remember?
Jacqueline Foley
Right.
Jackson Claude
It was not right. They should do Beauty and the Beast live.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. I just feel like nobody wants to do live these days. Like, nobody wants to work that hard. No, it's a thankless job. Because of course there's going to be errors. And you're like, I'm watching this on tv. Why are there errors? But you just don't respect the magic of live. No.
Jackson Claude
And, like, yes, we could do it not live, and it would be better. So, like, why don't we just do that? I mean, that's called the movie.
Jacqueline Foley
So way less exciting. It's so low stage.
Jackson Claude
I agree. I need the live departments at these big networks to get back to work. Work.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, I think it's really good for humanity.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. And it's like, family friendly content. What about the Lion King? Yeah, I'm gonna. I could see, like, Jacob Tremblay being Simba.
Jacqueline Foley
Oh, crush it.
Jackson Claude
Even though he's, like, literally 20 now.
Jacqueline Foley
You know, he doesn't sing.
Jackson Claude
I feel like every kid who, like, acts or what, they also sing well.
Jacqueline Foley
I feel like when you're a kid, if you sing like, you sound fine because you sound like a kid.
Jackson Claude
There are no kids with bad voices.
Jacqueline Foley
Right. They just sound like kids. Yeah, but when they're no longer kids, they're not singing anything.
Jackson Claude
They're singing it up.
Jacqueline Foley
It's like Disney classic, Disney Channel.
Jackson Claude
Let's dive into Dear Toasters, our weekly advice segment that we do every single week, and specifically on Tuesdays, where Jackie and I will take submissions from girlies who write into us, like, needing help. You can write into us two ways. One is our website, thetostpodcast.com. there's a little Dear Toaster submission box. Or you can just shoot us an email. Dear toasters, gmail.com. both are totally anonymous. We never use names. Don't worry, like, we won't be blowing up your spot. We're just gonna do our best to help and, like, jury's out on whether, you know, we can do that. We're about to find out.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, usually we can.
Jackson Claude
Hey, girlies. I have a boyfriend. Six months now. He's really a p. Job. He's shown me what it's like to be treated really well by a guy while watching a show the other day, the topic of prostitutes came up, and he reluctantly admitted to me that several times he has paid for sex. He told me this was a long time ago. Yeah, he told me it was a long time ago. We're in our 30s now, and this was when he was in his early 20s while he was abroad in a place where this is legal.
Jacqueline Foley
Okay.
Jackson Claude
It's desperate. Am I wrong to judge him for this? Would you be okay knowing in the past that your man had Been with a prostitute. I know that it's in the past, but I can't help but think about if he would do that. What else has he done? And it's really giving me the ick.
Jacqueline Foley
That is so icky. And I have to say something so crazy, like, I wish he never told you.
Jackson Claude
Yeah, I feel like, ick culture. We're always talking about how, like, people be like, oh, my God, like, his shirt was green.
Jacqueline Foley
Ick.
Jackson Claude
And this is an ick. I agree. Because not only does it make you think about, like, your own sexual health, like, this is a person who's had sex with a prostitute. And also with you. It also, you know, it's not every person would buy sex. So, like, it also is an indicator of the type of person this person is. And so I don't want to be judgmental, but, like, I am with you. Like, this is concerning.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. And I'm sure he's been tested since. And like, all of those issues, like, should not be an issue 10 years later. Like, I'm sure that part is fine. It's just, like, weird to think about. But it's like, if he's so past that chapter of his life and it's like a. He's open, incredible thing he did when he was younger. And it has no bearing on his future. Like, should he even have told you?
Jackson Claude
Didn't sound like it was a regrettable thing, though. He didn't say, like, I did it. And I'm deeply ashamed.
Jacqueline Foley
He just like, shared, you should leave him.
Jackson Claude
And almost it was like, yeah, like, that's something I did. Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
Like, everyone.
Jackson Claude
You just said it was like, a long time ago. Like, whatever.
Jacqueline Foley
I feel like probably a lot of people do this and then they just don't tell their partner.
Jackson Claude
Can I ask you a question? Because what do we consider prostitution? Like, do you consider going to, like, in, like, a happy ending spa prostitution? No, me neither. But, like, that would also give me the ick.
Jacqueline Foley
It would. But I don't think of Calvin Harris as having been with a prostitute.
Jackson Claude
Right. Never forget those pictures of Kevin Harris leaving a happy ending spa.
Jacqueline Foley
Right. That's a different. Like, okay, we'll deal with the happy endings. But paying for sex.
Jackson Claude
Right? Right.
Jacqueline Foley
And I paying for sex.
Jackson Claude
It's being in a different country totally helps. Right. Like, culturally, like, in America, it's not legal. Well, that. I don't know if it's legal in other countries either. I'm thinking of Amsterdam, like, red light district.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, that's. I think it's legal.
Jackson Claude
Okay, so it's not so much about breaking the law, though. That's not where, like, I'm concerned. It's just like. Like, go to a bar. Like, it's not that hard for a man to get laid, you know, if you really want to.
Jacqueline Foley
But I feel like sometimes if people travel and they, you know, when in Rome, they want to experience local experiences. Try the cuisine.
Jackson Claude
Right.
Jacqueline Foley
Try the prostitutes, the.
Jackson Claude
Yeah, but you could do that at a bar.
Jacqueline Foley
So it's not the same.
Jackson Claude
Right.
Jacqueline Foley
This would be difficult to reconcile with.
Jackson Claude
It and answer your question. No, I don't think there's anything wrong with you, like, being icked out and.
Jacqueline Foley
Judgy, but, like, if you're in a p jam relationship with someone who's treating and like, something they did 10 years ago, it's gonna change your current reality.
Jackson Claude
Now let me ask you a question, because, like.
Jacqueline Foley
I just wish we never knew. Yeah, it wouldn't make a difference.
Jackson Claude
Yeah, but we do know. So what do we do?
Jacqueline Foley
But I'm just saying, like, not only did you do this, though, which was wrong to do. He told you about it, which was also wrong to do.
Jackson Claude
Yeah. I have to imagine, though, she was, like, poking and prodding.
Jacqueline Foley
I don't want. I'm not like a bury my head in the sand sort of person, but this information does not serve you at all, and it only icks you out.
Jackson Claude
I would just, like, seriously do some hardcore mental gymnastics and just forget about it.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
If he's the boyfriend you say he.
Jacqueline Foley
Is, the man of your dreams, like.
Jackson Claude
Fine, he had a prostitute. Fine.
Jacqueline Foley
It sounded like more than one.
Jackson Claude
Yeah, it did, actually. Several times. Yeah. He paid for sex. That's really crazy. Maybe he was just, like, ugly and shy, you know?
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, Maybe, like, in order to move past this, we need more information.
Jackson Claude
Right, right. But let's just, like, cling to the fact that it was not in America like, that. That the second I read it, like, I unclenched a little bit. Yeah, like, sorry, he's a cosmopolitan man, you know? No, like, sorry, he cares so deeply about other cultures that he has to enmesh himself. You know, waist down.
Jacqueline Foley
This may make you feel better. I feel like if you really got down to brass tacks, like, how many American men that have traveled abroad and visited, how many of them paid for sex? I think it's a lot. And so just know you're not alone.
Jackson Claude
You're just a statistic.
Jacqueline Foley
That's always what you want to hear.
Jackson Claude
Ready? Hey, Swirlies. My husband recently found a small lump on his text. Text on his testicle. And his doctor ordered an ultrasound to see what it could be. Now, I've had multiple, multiple ultrasounds at the same location. Every time I've gone to the ultrasound tech, it's just stunning. It's fabulous. Oh. Oh, no, no. Sorry. Every time I've gone to the. The ultrasound technician, she is absolutely stunning. They are always wearing, like, tight little scrubs. Absolutely beautiful women. Am I crazy for feeling like he should request a male tech to perform this ultrasound? The idea of him in a dark room with his pants off and a beautiful girl rubbing his junk just doesn't sit right with me. I'm currently newly postpartum, and I'm just feeling a little bit insecure here. Yes. His health comes first. And I know it's not all about me, but for some reason, this is uncomfortable for me. Am I crazy? Let's say it together. Yes.
Jacqueline Foley
Okay.
Jackson Claude
I'm like, you are crazy.
Jacqueline Foley
No, I was gonna say, like, first of all, you can't request a different ultrasound.
Jackson Claude
No, you can. You can request gender.
Jacqueline Foley
Like, I feel like when you're a woman, you can request a woman.
Jackson Claude
The thing is, is, like, this tech ain't looking at your man. Like, she grabs all day. Like, she literally don't care.
Jacqueline Foley
No, she's checking out his testicles in a medical capacity. I'm sure he's feeling weird.
Jackson Claude
Y. Yeah.
Jacqueline Foley
Not. And it's not sexy. Like, a little embarrassed. Like, not that there's anything embarrassing, but.
Jackson Claude
Like, he's not like, hey, look at my big testicles. There's a lump on it. Like, I. Let's just chalk this up. I'm glad you wrote in. Like, you can acknowledge, like, perhaps you're just, like, in a hormonal state.
Jacqueline Foley
All about surveillance.
Jackson Claude
Yes, of course.
Jacqueline Foley
But I think we can make peace with this.
Jackson Claude
I think let's chalk this up to, like, postpartum hormones. Like, you have a lot going on. Your husband is completely safe.
Jacqueline Foley
He can be in the presence of a beautiful professional.
Jackson Claude
Right. And, yeah, I'm. I'm also not precious about medical stuff. Do you know what I mean? Like, we have a male obgyn, both of us. And, like, I was actually having this conversation with a couple of my friends. I guess they all have women who, like, they actively sought out. I'm like, oh, I didn't even realize, like, Dr. Fox was a man. Like, it's just Dr. You know?
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah.
Jackson Claude
You just look at it from a really clinical perspective.
Jacqueline Foley
No, I was having this conversation a while ago on the redheads about, like, women doctors, and I Was like, I know.
Jackson Claude
They should be paid less than men. I'm kidding. It's a comfort thing. Like, for sure.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah. The best doctor for the job.
Jackson Claude
Correct.
Jacqueline Foley
Is how I feel.
Jackson Claude
But actually, the other day when I went to the doctor, Dr. Fox was like, if you might be, like, getting contractions soon. And I was like, okay, what does that feel like? He's like, I have no idea.
Jacqueline Foley
That's funny.
Jackson Claude
Yeah, it is funny.
Jacqueline Foley
But I was actually thinking that I was, like, describing something to him, like, because I wanted to. It's like when you have your period, but, like, you didn't know that either.
Jackson Claude
No. And then I saw another doctor in Dr. Fox's office, and it was a woman, and she was actually pregnant. And I was like, oh, okay. So, like, what does the contraction feel like? So it doesn't matter. Like, at some point, Jackie's right. The best doctor for the job. And, like, what? So you'll get the male technician who stinks, and then they won't diagnose your husband properly?
Jacqueline Foley
I'm sorry. She's so beautiful.
Jackson Claude
What?
Jacqueline Foley
He's gonna have a boner. Like, that's. She would freak out. Like, that is. That's actually best case. Because then.
Jackson Claude
No, I'm sure people get boners all the time. And it's like, so not a big deal.
Jacqueline Foley
Yeah, we can. We can relinquish.
Jackson Claude
We can rest easy, like. And, like, it's not like a lump is, like, so sexy.
Jacqueline Foley
You know, there's nothing sexy about what's going down.
Jackson Claude
Correct. You can rest easy.
Jacqueline Foley
All right.
Jackson Claude
This is the third and final deer toasters. It actually has something to do with us.
Jacqueline Foley
Okay.
Jackson Claude
Dear toasters, I'm looking for some advice. My husband has recently discovered he is sat for the toast, thanks to me, to the point where he's plans his days and evenings on when we would sit down and watch it together. We've been home together for almost a week now because we just had our first baby, by the way, Claudia. Can't wait for you. For you to lose your mucus plug. The other day, I got up off the couch to shower. He paused the podcast. About 10 minutes in, I got out of the shower and found out that he had finished the episode without me. His response? It was a great episode. You. You will love it. Which I think is so rude because I wouldn't do that with his podcast. I guess I'm reaching out for advice on how to un. Obsess my husband with the podcast. Listen, it's the kind of the power of the toast.
Jacqueline Foley
I'd love to never catch us giving out that sort of advice. No, but that's a spell we'll never tell you.
Jackson Claude
Boundaries do need to be set on. On content sharing.
Jacqueline Foley
Right. And that is irrespective of whatever you're watching. Like, if you guys were watching a show together, you pause and you wait. That's actually really crazy. And you can play this for him and let him know, we love you.
Jackson Claude
We love that.
Jacqueline Foley
You will love it.
Jackson Claude
The enthusiasm is so appreciate it.
Jacqueline Foley
But wait for your girl. You know, she's been through a lot. I would say no.
Jackson Claude
And I think that what I've heard is that the toast is sort of this, like, anchor for postpartum women. So for the fact that, like, you went to take a shower, like, God forbid, and he went and watched it without you, like, it's disgusting and it should be treated how you would treat any TV show. If you're watching a series with someone and like, you know, bengals take a shower, like, okay, I'll pause. Like, I'm not gonna watch the episode without you. The toast is kind of like the Sopranos, you know, do better. Do better, but enjoy. We're so glad.
Jacqueline Foley
We're happy to have you. Tell your friends.
Jackson Claude
Yes. Yes. Rub some nerd in it. That was your Toasters, our weekly advice segment. Thank you to everybody who wrote in. Jackson Claude

Podcast Summary: The Toast – Episode "Go New York Go!" (Released May 13, 2025)
Hosts: Jackson Claude and Jacqueline Foley
Jackson Claude and Jacqueline Foley kicked off the episode by sharing their bustling week in New York City. Jackson humorously remarked on the hectic schedule: “Big week in New York City. It's literally bright lights, big city, Three bucks, two bags, one beer” (00:49). They discussed Jacqueline’s recent late-night podcasting sessions, where she conducted a particularly engaging interview that she teased would be available the following month. Jacqueline expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “It was honestly hysterical” (01:28).
The hosts also touched upon their professional commitments, mentioning multiple meetings and podcasting obligations. Jackson playfully highlighted their brand's merchandise, hinting at upcoming product drops and promotions (03:01). They ended this segment by recounting their experience attending a Knicks game, intertwining personal anecdotes about social interactions and celebrity sightings.
A significant portion of the episode focused on the recent New York Knicks game attended by celebrities Kylie Jenner and Timothy Chalamet. Jackson noted the electrifying atmosphere, mentioning, “With Kendall weekend, I was shocked to see Kendall” (14:15). The discussion delved into the seating arrangements, speculating on Kylie’s strategic positioning beside Timothy and Kendall. Jacqueline humorously pointed out, “Because of story number two” (05:00), referencing their intertwined social circles.
Jackson highlighted the presence of Jordan Woods and Carl Anthony Towns, emphasizing the blend of sports and celebrity glamour: “She sits courtside even though, like, a lot of the wags don't” (14:15). The hosts speculated on Kylie’s relationship dynamics, especially her interactions with Kendall and the choice of seating that suggested a close-knit group despite the packed venue.
In a poignant segment, the hosts discussed Kim Kardashian’s ongoing trial regarding her traumatic robbery in Paris. Jacqueline summarized the court testimony, stating, “Kim testified in court on Monday that she feared she would be raped and fatally shot during the burglary” (22:08). Jackson reflected on the passage of time since the incident, expressing astonishment: “But just know, the toast is sort of this, like, anchor for postpartum women” (24:00).
They commended Kim’s resilience, noting her composed courtroom demeanor despite the harrowing experiences: “Kim looked amazing. It's one of my favorite Kim looks” (23:28). The discussion acknowledged the long-term psychological impacts Kim might be facing, with Jackson asserting, “calmness is her superpower” (24:28).
The conversation shifted to the high-profile Diddy trial, where Jacqueline mentioned the gruesome details emerging from witness testimonies: “One allegation is that he allegedly forced an escort to perform a disgusting act on Cassie Ventura” (26:21). Jackson expressed his discomfort with the trial's graphic nature, comparing the public fascination to past celebrity trials: “It's like Jeffrey Epstein PTSD” (28:47).
They critically analyzed the defense's stance, questioning the differentiation between domestic violence and sex trafficking: “But all of this, like, we'll get like, I'm sure there's the” (29:00). The hosts highlighted the controversial aspects of the case, emphasizing societal perceptions and legal nuances surrounding such accusations.
Morgan Wallen’s abrupt departure from Saturday Night Live (SNL) was another key topic. Jacqueline relayed Wallen’s explanation for leaving the show, where he stated, “I was just ready to go home” (29:51). Jackson speculated on underlying reasons, suggesting possible dissatisfaction with the show's environment: “I don't think that type of production is successful for NBC” (32:13).
They discussed Wallen’s future prospects, debating whether he would return to SNL or focus solely on his music career: “And the last one we were gooped and gagged over was Annie Live” (42:09). The hosts expressed mixed feelings about live performances, reminiscing about past live musicals and contemplating future productions.
Looking ahead, the hosts shared exciting news about a live musical special of Wicked starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo slated for the fall on NBC: “The Wicked Special event will take place at the Peacock Theater in LA” (40:29). Jackson expressed enthusiasm for the event, recalling previous live performances and anticipating the blend of cinematic releases with live television events: “I need the live departments at these big networks to get back to work” (43:48).
Jacqueline and Jackson praised the potential of live musicals to captivate audiences, drawing parallels to popular events like Annie Live and envisioning the special as a significant cultural moment.
In their weekly advice segment, Dear Toasters, Jackson and Jacqueline addressed two listener questions, offering empathetic and practical advice.
A listener voiced discomfort over her boyfriend revealing past instances of paying for sex, questioning whether she should judge him for his actions:
Jackson Claude responded thoughtfully, “Am I wrong to judge him for this? Would you be okay knowing in the past that your man had been with a prostitute?” (45:06). They discussed societal perceptions of such behavior, acknowledging the stigma but also considering the context of the boyfriend’s cultural experiences abroad.
Jacqueline Foley advised, “There is nothing wrong with you, like, being icked out,” emphasizing personal boundaries and the importance of communication within the relationship (46:36). They concluded by encouraging the listener to evaluate the current dynamics and trust in the relationship’s foundation.
Another listener expressed unease about her husband undergoing an ultrasound performed by a female technician, fearing potential discomfort or unprofessionalism:
Jackson Claude empathized, stating, “I’m just looking out for your pants” (21:39), while Jacqueline Foley reassured her by highlighting the professionalism of medical staff: “He's gonna have a boner. Like, that's actually best case” (52:10).
They emphasized the importance of prioritizing health over personal discomfort, suggesting that the husband’s medical needs should take precedence and that professional technicians maintain appropriate conduct regardless of gender.
The final advice query involved a listener concerned about her husband’s obsession with The Toast podcast, feeling neglected as Jackson watched episodes without her:
Jackson Claude humorously agreed with her concerns, saying, “this is disgusting” (53:11), and Jacqueline Foley recommended setting boundaries: “treat like any TV show… pause and wait” (53:19).
They encouraged healthy communication and mutual respect in enjoying shared media, reinforcing that partnership entails supporting each other's interests without overstepping personal space.
Throughout the episode, Jackson and Jacqueline blended personal anecdotes with engaging discussions on celebrity news, high-profile trials, and heartfelt advice. Their dynamic chemistry and candid conversations provided listeners with a comprehensive and entertaining overview of current events, while also fostering a sense of community through their advice segment.
